Angry Letter. This game was good until the last update. I am absolutely furious with the addition of the spikes. It is way too easy to die and almost impossible to be successful in beating previous high scores. This game will be ruined forever if we don’t make a change now. As a long-time supporter of this game, I think it is important that I help lead the future of this company in the right direction by critiquing it in a friendly but impactful way. Therefore I must say that I am extremely disappointed in the new decision to add spikes to a game that used to provide stress relief even in the darkest of circumstances. Sincerely, Chef Boyardee

More Characters!. I love this game so much! But, I'm at that point where I can't "buy" more skins. So I would like if y'all could add more. I can still win them from the cat and Christmas challenges but I can't win much more. There's a lot so if anyone is wondering wether or not they should get this app, my answer would be a yes!!😘☺️

Addicting. I love the the game. But when you purchase remove ads, it doesn’t remove the ads at the bottom of the screen which is bogus.

The amount of adds is pathetic.. I would give this game 4-5 stars if it wasn’t for the number of adds that pop up during the game. They pop up constantly and often times a second add pops up as soon as you close the first one. This game is definitely not worth sitting through all the adds. Don’t bother downloading it.

Addictive app, needs work. It was a fun game to play to pass time but is sometimes really glitchy when I first start playing. I also feel like the developers need to add more features like special abilities each skin has. Ex. The Penguin skin can’t slip on ice Or unlocking new backgrounds like a beach or lava pit

My Deleted Dragons. I Bought the dragons for the $3.99 and the randomly got removed from my characters so what can I do? I don’t wanna pay another $3.99 to get the dragons again so if you could please and them back to my account I would appreciate that! 2 stars cause I like the game but my character got removed

It was good, AT FIRST. So, I’ve been playing this game for over two years now. And I am working on the cat ice climbers challenge. And it’s sooooo hard that I can’t get past the eighth challenge. And the controls on it are poor. Soo, say I’m jumping and I let go. It doesn’t just land, no no no. IT KEEPS GOING😡. Another problem with this app is that the platforms get WAYYYYY to skinny. Witch is really hard for the people who just started playing(because they start with the first characters witch are quite skinny). But the real reason I wanted to write this review was because I’ve been on challenge 8 for at least 2 years. That says something about this. I really hope the producers of this game read this

Ads soooo many ads. An ad before a game an ad after a game an ad when you click on to play a game mode I can’t take your 30 second ads every 10 second I play I end up having watched 60 seconds in ads how will I learn to play the game if you swarm me with ads pay for ad remover no I shouldn’t have to pay for a good game experience

Good game. It's a very good fun game and fun to challenge friends with, but it gets annoying when you fall off and it goes in slow mode.

I was at number 9 of the cat climbers. I was at the and and both characters were on the part with the flag and it just sat there for 10 seconds and fell THROUGH the platform even though they were both standing in the middle!

Glitchy as all get out. It’s kinda fun while it works. But it inevitably crashes, and the menu interactions can tend to be super super glitchy... not just graphical stuff, but things where you’re looking at it going: “How did they possibly screw up coding something that simple? Also, ads popping up mid-game, while I’m trying to jump? Really?? Give me a break.

Ads. The game itself is fun but you have wayyyyyyy too many ads, I understand you need to make money but seriously? I've spent more time watching ads than playing the actual game

Would not recommend. This app was just terrible. I would not recommend to anyone. It wouldn’t actually let me play the game. It wouldn’t work when I tapped the screen and when nothing happens they just died. There are many other issues I faced but it would be a long review and I know some people will not read it. So I’m making it short. Overall I don’t like the game. It was a good idea but they didn’t compete the whole idea. I deleted the app because it’s just not a good game to play.

Great game. This is a really fun game because I mean it can be a challenge to a point in time and it is really time consuming. This game is fun because you can change up your style by skins and I mean it will take you a while to finish getting all the skins because they're tons of them. Really fun game and I do recommend.

Great game WWAAAYYY too hard. Ive made it to the 5th level on cat climbers and level 2 on he Christmas i cant beat either of those the platforms are too thin the slippery thing is the most annoying tho

Fun at first, now a boring piece of trash.. I thought the idea was clever and good. Until I went to the cat challenge and I’m currently stuck on level 7! Platforms In this level get way too small and it gets increasingly unfair. And if you screw up too many times? AD! Boring. Not a good way to kill time. I think the art design and the design of the characters are good. But the controls are AWFUL! Ultimately, I will not be touching this game for a while.

What do I think. This game has been very good I have played it for 1 day now I know now that much time but it is a very good game I am not going to say everything I think about the game right now just some things that don’t seem right my friend told me al about this game she got it was this game that’s why I got it so I played it and she said she has had the game for a long time and she said this the game modes can be better she has played this game for 2 months and she can not get past one of them she says she hates that it is way to Hurd and I think it is I have been playing the game for one f dad at so I can’t really say anything and she just got past the cat one and she plays it like all day everything day it is a good game just not that good I don’t really know how I feel about the game yet 🤔 but I am thinking and my friend wanted me to say this because her mom dose not let her write a review so I am doing it for her and She thinks that the is not the best but it is ok

Loved it before the update. They turned a great game into a really unenjoyable one after they updated it. It’s really glitchy, the characters don’t even make their animal sounds anymore, and it was already a good level of difficulty as is. The added obstacles just made the game nearly impossible to advance in. I liked it way more before.

Good game but hard. It’s fun you can get pretty far but the game modes are hard you only have one chance because if one of charterer falls it’s game Over and you have to have mad skills to jump to the skinniest tower and you have to jump fastest you can or the other one will just fall it’s a fun game but when you get far in the modes it gets really difficult so I would put the difficulty down a tad. What I really like about it’s not to easy and it does not tell you watch aN aDd To ReViVe or just GIVE UP. And the Christmas on 5 there is the is the slimmest jump do if you jump on it you fall through. And you know when you fly though the air if none of your characters are on the ground it will assume that there’s a glitch. And if a character gets stuck it just pulls you into death.

Didn't get ad reward. I watched an ad that had a demo at the end and I did the demo and clicked the x when it said but the game said I skipped the ad and didn't give me the reward :( otherwise this game is cute and fun albeit frustrating to get far in. 4/5

Love it but something needs explains. It’s a great game but why is there a snake in the cold? It makes no sense also I thing it would be cool if you could change the glaciers to sand and have the background the ocean and some other ones as unlockables.

This is worth your while. This is a small yet brilliant game, if your bored pull out your phone and play it. While it's meant for one player you and your friends can take turns on one device and have all the fun you like.

Fun but Glitchy. Lots of characters to unlock, and it is addicting. A great game to have if you're bored. No instructions, though. Learn through trial and error. After the latest update, it is glitchy. Characters fall through the platforms and control does not switch between characters properly. 4 Stars because it is a great game and I assume the bugs will be fixed.

Mediocre and a Bit Challenging. The software and engineering in the game itself is very well designed. It’s easy to understand and has a very simple concept. The game, however, is not enjoyable. From what I’ve heard from other reviews they’ve experienced way too many advertisements that don’t make the game pleasurable. Personally I find the game hard. Like most games, when I first download them they are a little tricky. Once I play after a few minutes, however, I get the hang of it. Not in this game. I understand the concept of this and I’m pretty decent at it, I can get to around 1400 which I guess is okay. I can’t get past it, though. It isn’t necessarily the length that I can pass through but the endurance I have to put my mind through to make it at all. It’s stressful and difficult, and very frustrating. I have games like Crossy Road that are similar to this. Similar concept, similar challenges, however it is much easier. I am not sure what about this game makes it so challenging, but for me, and for other people looking to have fun from a game, I do not recommend this game.

Dumb. This STUPID game doesn’t even have a tutorial! I swear to Jesus fricking Christ I can’t jump from one ledge to the other! Why can you stretch the rope when you jump, but when you fall it pulls me in! Explain! It’s like Arkansas, and Kansas. It should be are-Kansas not arkansaw! Plus if you want to call it that make the spelling logically correct! I give this a two star.

Great so far!. I just got this game a few minutes ago but I am totally enjoying it so far! 😂 there are no glitches/ads that I have noticed, & it’s a super fun & addicting game overall. I’m only rating this because it popped up in the app & I don’t usually rate apps this fast but this ones awesome & I was happy to rate it so soon!

Addictive. This game is pretty challenging, but that's what makes it fun. I feel so triumphant when I reach another icicle or improve my highest score. My only question is, what are the flags for?

Love it. It is addictive and fun, but one prob. The ads. When you get jackpot you have to watch an ad to multiply it and collect it. You have to watch an ad to collect it, which is annoying but other than that it's an awesome app.

Add a random button. Overall i really like the game but i think it would be neat if you added a button that randomizes what characters you play with so you could like use a different one each time and when you unlock new characters then they just get added on the list so you can play with them but also other ones whenever you just cant choose

Why’d you update it and change it?. Honestly was one of my favorite games and then the update came in and made it so hard that it wasn’t even fun anymore. I was going from 5000m to barely getting last 1000m. I miss the old version and only having the bonus levels as the challenging mode so it could feel like you could succeed.

Outstanding. With its fast-paced theme and challenging levels, Icy Ropes can be really addicting. Every time I fall I just try again. I’m always determined to beat my high score. Icy Ropes is also fun with friends! Every time they come over, we always compare scores and try to beat them! Icy Ropes is one of the best iOS games I’ve played, so I recommend you getting this. Five stars.

I wuv it. It’s a great game. I like how competitive it can be. There’s two things that are hard. One is how they can stumble off and lose you the second is the obstacles it’s hard to notice them. If you don’t see in time then SHANK your done good game I love it and recommend it one more thing. It’s sorta a rage game.

Good app, but why?. I have had this app for over two years now and have enjoyed it a lot. I do think though that the updates are a little slow. Maybe more frequent updates? Finally, in the new update there was an Assassin character. Ok, but why pick Gamora and her sister? Otherwise great app!

Great idea, though very glitchy.. I won’t complain too much, and I’ll say it’s very fun and addicting. But there’s some parts of the game that are unavoidable and make for an unenjoyable experience. Specifically the various glitches and flaws. There are many points in time where you die because you have no control over what you’re doing and it’s not possible to get through sticky situations. Sometimes, when one of my characters falls, I completely loose control over both the character on a platform and the character on the rope. No matter how much I tap, nobody jumps. After a couple seconds, either the other character falls or the rope stretches and I loose. It leaves me irritated and unsatisfied. Another example of this is the unstable platforms. Especially the ones with the two triangular pieces one on top of the other. Sometimes a character will get stuck behind the platform, and because the top piece falls over, there’s no possible way to thaw out. Your character just sits there, contained by three pieces of ice until the rope stretches and you die. Just fix these glitches (along with many others) and I’d be happy to change my opinion.

Awesome but one thing.... I LOVE YOUR GAME!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ But one thing: I saw in characters I could get epic characters for free just by download app I downloaded ghost pop and played a little btw it’s really fun but when I got back to Icy Ropes it would not give me the characters. I’m a 7 year old and wish that it would not lie to me. Otherwise, AWESOME!!!

Icy Ropes. This game is really addicting. I catch myself playing it when I shouldn't. The only thing is there is tons of glitches. It's also very hard. When or if the glitches are fixed it will be a great game.

What you would expect. It’s basically The ice climbers Up special in smash but it goes forward. Not bad though

Awesome but some things I want on future updates. Love it, great game guys! I would love it if you added courses and enemies and maybe even power ups in game that are unique for the red and blue climbers respectively, also some new backdrops would be amazing, like the sun setting or something like that, besides that it is awesome, thx!

Favorite Game. I have played this for a little while now and I love everything about it! Ive been looking for another game and I tried out a bunch but they weren’t right. It’s really fun trying to avoid the obstacles and collecting coins. So far I’ve unlocked the police, robber, cat and dog, and firefighters. The characters are super cute and I like that you added a challenge mode. This is my go to game and I recommend it. (sorry if my review is unorganized) Thanks to everyone who helped make this game!

Great game just one thing. Overall I really love this game. It’s challenging fun and nerve wracking. My only complaint is please don’t make you slip when you go on the tilted blocks. It’s almost impossible to jump on that cause it makes you fall into the obyss. But overall amazing game.

Very addicting but hard. So when you fall it goes in slow mo and sometimes you can save the avatars but when I try to it randomly pulls them down instead of where I press which is really confusing! I hope the slow mo will be removed because I saw others saying the same thing so please fix this!

Good Game but Ads. This game is good and can get addictive but the amount of ads is ridiculous. One comes up every third or fourth time you die which can become a nuisance. On top of this if you enticed into the jackpot feature you have to watch a 30 second ad before hand.

Advent. I love this game and the idea of the advent calendar but I'm still on level one because it's too hard. Even the first level is infested with slopes or tiny platforms.

Mute doesn't work at all. Every time you start a new round, the mute setting resets, which isn't as bad as the fact that the stupid ads come out of nowhere at full volume. It's really annoying to deal with and wasn't worth trying for 4 rounds

Coins. Listen I love how you guys did you coin system, it was unique compared to others games of this category but what happened with me was I got lucky and made a huge amount of coins. Because of this system I've found myself with every character in the game within a hour of downloading. There's a lot of work to do with this so I hope you guys can perfect it.

AWESOME!!!. I have been addicted to this game ever since I got it, I could play this for hours on end but there is one small bug/cheat in the game that is very easily accessible. So when you get the option to watch and ad for *50* or so coins, if you watch the ad then play a game then select jackpot after it will think that you have earned *50* coins. I did this a couple of times and I got really lucky and I got 50 coins and a x50 multiplier and I had earned around 3000. But I love the game it's so addicting just please try to fix the bug/cheat

Alright I guess. The game is very addictive, but it has many bugs and the leaderboard is kinda stupid cause I'm supposed to be #2 on the leaderboard but it says I have no rank, it said at first i was number two but now it doesn't even come up, also there are ALOT of ads you get not long of play time before you get a lengthy ad.

5 words: Addictive in a good way!. This game is the most addictive game I have ever played!! It's basically an arcade style game where two Eskimos are attached to a rope and have to jump from platform to platform. Awesome!

Ok - Give it a try. This game is not bad but don't expect much of it. There is no objective so it's an arcade type game where two climbers are attached to a rope and must jump across hills. The way the climbers jump is by the amount of time screen is held. E.g longer hold gives a longer jump visa versa. I found it hard to get used to and there were no instructions on how to play the game. In saying that it is very addictive and great to play when waiting or bored. Needs an update and needs to be made more exciting. Maybe the further you get the more climbers you come across and then get to use instead of in game store. Hope review helped and this game is worth a try.

This game.. I love monkey ropes BUT on icy ropes there is a cat challenge, so, on the first and second levels it was awesome, as I love cats I was so exited which adorable feline I was going to get. Then, on the forth level, It was extreme, it was at least level ten. TEN. And I got a character I Already had, Now, that’s my fault, but I got so mad I almost broke my iPad, you have to understand some kids like to play, and they probably get so mad and sad that they can’t get the new skin. Also, I’m not even past the FITH cat challenge. what about all the little kids that try and play this game, I know I’ve said it already but you must know the point. I got all three of the Rope, games, and the only one that very descent is the Monkey ropes, that might be MY opinion. But Monkey ropes has detailed skins or characters that everyone will love. But the other two, are just like rip offs to monkey ropes, I understand that it takes a team of people to pull off a game like this, but, if you could update this, that would be amazing, Also, i would like to mention, I LOVE the tuxedo cats and the mittens and grumpy cat characters! They just have SO much detail in them and I LOVe how you actually did Mittens and grumpy cats expressions so well, I have to give you a clap for those two characters and basically every character in the kitten challenge are amazingly detailed up to the fith because I haven’t got up to the that yet. So that’s really all I have to say about this game, some characters are detailed though not all of them, just when you just started, you get theses two people I think and they just are blank, I only like the hoodies, anyway, thanks.

Awesome game Ads are ridiculous. Literally have to sit on ads for between 30-60 seconds after 2 mins of play. The game is awesome but the ad time is ridiculous. Deleted the app.

Ads and also hard. This game is a fun idea and concept but it has way to many ads popping up to properly enjoy the gameplay. There's also the problem with you can't tell what the future platform will be like which ends up making you fall.

Too many ads. The app is still plagued with ads. Literally any time you try to do anything an ad appears. Characters are ridiculously overpriced too! Game is overly difficult because you can't see the next landing most of the time as it's off the screen.

Game is ok... But #AdNation. Gameplay is decent, but other than that the game is flawed, too difficult to get coins, and if you want to get coins fast, you have to watch an ad. Did you just die? Have an ad that lasts 2 minutes. You want to spin the lottery to get a chance towards a good amount of coins? Watch a 2 minute ad

Fun but needs help. I'm addicted with this game! It's so fun... my only problem with it is that I can't listen to music without being able to mute it. Every time I die, the sound goes back on. definitely something to work on for the next update

Super fun, lots of characters however.... I broke the jackpot and now have all 52 characters unlocked with enough coins to get 86 more. It's tons of fun to play but there's definitely not 100+ characters yet.

There's Potential. This app has a lot of potential. Its a little buggy, and the gameplay is inconsistent. The ads are also extremely irritating and obtrusive. Especially when the pop up in the middle game. This game might actually gain some fans if the ads weren't so awful.

Almost great. Is it just me or did it take forever to figure out that you need to tap and hold to jump farther? I think this game is almost there but it’s missing one key thing INSTRUCTIONS game creators if your reading this add instructions or some sort of tutorial level when people first open the game so that people like me can know how to play the game right away.

Fun game but.... It has wayy too many ads and it's not those short 10 seconds one either or static images that pops up at the top of the screen. If they add a premium version with no ads then I can see it getting a higher score.

Addictive, Frustrating, and where the heck is it?. I got the game and it was good at first. Then I decided to delete it. So I looked for it...AND IT WAS NO WHERE! I looked all over my phone but couldn’t see it. My Siri and App Store said I had it, but where the flip is it?!?!?! I’m stuck with a game I don’t want, and don’t know how to fix it!
