Lovely Swahili Bible app. I am using this app to study the Bible as I learn Kiswahili. I’m loving it!

Issues with audio. There is no audio in the book of Esther

Needs speed adjustment. I like the ease of maneuvering around the Bible and the parallel reading. It would be good to be able to begin the reading inside the chapter and not just at the beginning. Also,the reader is very articulate, but he reads so fast I can hardly keep up. I am a beginning learner in the Swahili language and want to learn, so I need to be able to slow down the speed of the reading so I can learn how to say the words and read the Bible fluently to be able to teach in the Swahili language.

Recommended. I strongly recommend this Swahili Bible especially if you like the text version. The audio version is rather slow and read like a news item with too many pauses - it should be read as a story with tonal expression and feeling. It has one never changing mono tone.
