Absolutely love it, but have to re-download often. This app is my favorite go-to as an alternative to hitting the social media buttons. My only issue is the screen goes blank sometimes and I have to delete the app and re-install. I love this app, thank you for making it.

A gift to all who experience this. I have an abiding love for the Yoga Sutras, and seven well-worn translations that I love to read and compare. So to find a careful and heartfelt work like this, effortlessly synthesizing the most beautiful aspects of many translations, is truly a gift. The author marries the precision of an academic, the art of a poet, and the wisdom of a sage to lift us all to a higher understanding. Dhanyavada!

Annoying popups. I am trying to study and the app won’t function until you write a review. Well. I don’t know how the app works yet bc I haven’t been able to make the popups stop.

The sutras are unreadable on iPad. The images don't scale, so they are cut off and unreadable on iPad or with landscape orientation.

Learning so much. Very user friendly and informative. I've been reading and learning so much every night.

10 Stars. Wonderful app for exploring the yoga sutras of Patanjali!!! It’s absurd quality for such an esoteric subject. I love waking up to the Sutra of the Day. I love the breakdown of each sutra into individual vocabulary. I love the translations and the commentary. The commentary! Wow…beautiful writing. Beautiful imagery. Sanskrit pronunciation. The capability of hearing the Sanskrit pronunciation isn't working and was the major reason I got the app

AUM. I treasure this. I have read other translations of and commentaries on Patanjali's Yoga Sutras; none of which capturing the spirit of the sutra... That soul connection that says "yes!". This does that for me. It resonates and vibrates with my nature and I'm sure it will with others because I am not unique or special. I love this app. I am thankful for the time the love and the dedication it took to create this; for the benefit of others. Selfless service. It's just beautiful.

Easy to Use. New update has a nice interface. I reported a bug and received a very quick response from the creator. I enjoy the audio and I would like if there were a way to play through the entire yoga sutras.

Best Yoga Sutras app hands down!. I have followed the creator of this app for some time on Instagram, and have cherished his comments on the Yoga Sutras, as well as the peace that radiates from his practice and countenance. Without knowing he was working on this app, I went searching for something like it, but nothing struck me as deeply as his thoughtful commentary. This is a real purchase and not a solicited review. It's the best Yoga Sutra app I've found (as well as less expensive than others I've tried.) -Ken aka the headless_buddha on IG.

I have tons of books, but is EVERYTHING on the one thing that's always in our hands!. This is great! It's organized well and very creatively thought out to have pronunciation, text definition of the words, and plain English!! Thank you for taking the time to generate this awesome app 😆🙏🏼📿📚📲

Updates. The app seems great but it doesn’t fill the entire screen on an iPhone 11, an update for iPhone X and higher would be great. Also, I’d love to be able to scroll left and right between sutras, rather than having to use the buttons. Also, in dark mode the top and bottom bar are still white. It would be so great if these things got updated! Thanks

great. i really love this app as i’m trying to learn the sutras and apply them to my life in an easily accessible and fun way. I love the daily sutra feature i read it in the morning like a daily newspaper. I was excited about the daily notification feature but it hasn’t been working I have not got a notification from the app and all of my settings are correct so that I wish could improve. Also a recommendation would be a section for notes that you can write some notes about the sutra on your own along with the bookmark feature which is great. And another recommendation would be to be able to play back the pronunciation of the sutra slower or have some more controls with that. but overall love it!

inaccurate translation?. This is useful as a loose reference and to hear the Sanskrit, however the translation is overly/creatively interpreted. Some sutras are translated as entirely different concepts/topics than any academic translation. It’s more of a personal interpretation than a translation (a bit confusing that it implies Edwin Bryant was a resource?). From a functional standpoint it’s great.

Philosopher of note. I’ve followed Daniel on social media for a couple of years reading his knowledgeable posts on the yoga texts. Not only is he incredibly well versed in his subject, he delivers the essence of the teaching in such an engaging and colourful writing that i find myself contemplating what he’s written long after i’m done reading. Highly recommend for anyone sincere about adding philosophy to their practice.

Sutras are displaced. 3.22 is missing so all sutras are displaced after that. :( For example sutra with the word Elephant should be 3.25 and not 3.24.
