Helpful. Many improvements over previous app but would still like a list of cameras per highway for quicker viewing in addition to what you have here.

New app. Absolutely have no use for this new version, goodbye.

Need road conditions NOT navigation. I wish I had not updated!! It is 511 MANITOBA! Why doesn’t it open to show Manitoba? Most people who use this app want to check their local road conditions. It no longer shows my area of Manitoba on opening, but instead all of North America…I have to waste time trying to get the app to show southern Manitoba, which is horrible when you don’t have good cell service.

Refuse to download this... 👎🏻. I won't be downloading this app any time soon as it hasn't been updated in over a year. Won't risk it causing issues with my phone. I just have the web version added to my home screen, which is real slow of course, as I have to re-enter my favorite settings, & no notification settings can be added. MB is way behind Saskatchewan or even Alberta as they regularly update their apps for speed & reliability.

New update. The new update is so buddy. I preferred the old style, next to no bugs and did what it was supposed to. The new update came with a lot of stuff you don’t need which causes more bugs. Like it doesn’t even show portage la Prairie lol

Spend some cash. Come on Manitoba I'm sure you can afford more than 8 highway cameras,check out B.C. Or even Nova Scotia.🤑🤑🤑

No longer user friendly. I used to love this app. Could click on a camera and instantly see the road. Now it is no longer user friendly. You have to make an account to see the cameras. Very inconvenient and doesn’t work properly. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Terrible. Since last update you can’t tap on a part of a road and get up to date reports on the conditions. And doesn’t show ice, just covered road. Big thumbs down. Wish there was another app for Manitoba so I could delete this one!

Not very good. I used the old app quite often but I find the revamped app isn’t very user friendly. Town searches bring up locations all over North America and you can no longer click on a road to view the time/conditions. I was so frustrated that I can’t even tell you if the traffic cams are still available.

The new app is terrible can’t figure it out why the heck did you have to change it. Why did you change it it doesn’t help at all

Lost features. I can’t tell when the road was last updated. Reports of clear roads could be a day old. Doesn’t make driving any safer.

Worse highway app in Canada. It is 3 days behind or more . You’re in whiteout conditions crashes everywhere and it shows bare dry roads

Not on the fly easy or accurate. I absolutely don’t like the newer version,not that old one was any better…not an easy and accurate way to travel w this…used to b able to click in a section of hwy and at least showed the last time updated etc. accuracy of the road is horrible…be like omg this is dangerous whereas it showed partially covered? People travel highways and need updates in real time with real road real world conditions…not omg I shouldn’t be on here.NOT USER FRIENDLY…regular google maps does a better job but in winter we need to know is this highway safe to b on….and where’s the quick access to cameras.old fashioned way I guess fingers crossed….

Should’ve left it alone.. I can’t even find the cameras for highway 1 East anymore.

If I could give them no star I would. I just want to be able to check the road conditions. Now I can not use this app unless I let them use my location. So instead of being able to plan my trip safely I have to share my information that I do not want to share. I hate technology and what it has become.

More cameras are good. It’ll help with my next trip outside the perimeter.

Very poor. This app was good at one time but now it doesn’t even work, used to tap on a highway and a box would pop up with road conditions and time of report now nothing happens

Crap. The App before was nothing wrong with it. Another deleted App,I have no use for after Changes

Great highways. What a great app always updated on time

New update. I do not like the new update. It has too much on it and it is not clear what the road conditions are like compared to the old app. Before you could quickly look at it and know which roads were closed or icy. Now you have to zoom right in to your area, click the legend and then compare to the map.

Hopper Hauler. This app is even more useless then the old one. With no time stamps on when conditions were last updated it’s a crap shoot whether the information is accurate.

Mostly useless. The only useful feature is the cameras as I assume they’re the only thing that is real-time. Removing the feature where we can see the time and date highways were last updated doesn’t make sense. Weather changes too quickly in Manitoba and now I can’t make an educated guess anymore.

Please please fix. Please fix or DELETE this garbage app!!!! It never works. I’d give it zero stars but you can’t select zero stars.

Useless. I am not sure why in comparison to other Provinces/States that Manitoba 511 lacks current updates. It could be snowing really hard for hours and the last update would still be more than 24 hrs old.

Not good. Don’t install this app! It’s rarely updated when it counts.

Works great. It is far better than the old app . Plan your route now and it maps it.

Non working. So paranoid about getting sued, the app has a screen pointing out how bad this app is and you have to click “accept” - BUT YOU CAN’T because it doesn’t work!!! So you can’t use this app any more. The website is the same. So I deleted it. Doesn’t matter - it was a crap shoot figuring what the highways were like anyway. The information is frequently a day or two out of date.

Wow need more for Manitoba. Great and all for the app in ways needs improvements one thing is wht do you do when u see some workers from hydro drinking a couple of beer while they are on duty at a restaurant in Steinbach Manitoba also they had a trailer with a small backhoe on in going south on Hwy 52 like I want them to work on anything while they are under the influence of alcohol and this was about 25 to 35 mins ago losers .....

Information missing. I appreciate the effort to improve the app but unfortunately I find it’s worse than old app. I can see the road conditions but it does not tell me from when. I don’t know if it’s 1 min ago or 1 day ago. If I could tap a road to see a time when conditions was reported then I will give 5 stars.

New version. The old version was better. You could get an overall view of the province including highway numbers. Also showed the winter roads on the map instead of having to go to a different area. You could also get a radar map of incoming weather and track the route it was taking. I wish i had not changed from the older version and i could go back to it..

Highway numbers. This new app is terrible as it doesn’t have the highway numbers on it. The old app was much better. Please go back to the old version

Who trashed the app. Use to be a 5 star now it’s garbage just can’t leave good apps alone. Deleted this app off my phone thank you very much!

Visual. Colours.. Can you please change the colour hues so snow flurries are not the same colour as bodies of water. Months later and this has not been addressed or responded to.

Garbage. Just downloaded the “new & improved” MANITOBA 511 app. Why is it still broken? This app brings us shame.

Camera feature. Does not work

Helpful. This latest version of the app is really great. It’s really very accurate and easy to use.

What happened?. This app used to be good and reliable. Now it’s garbage. Very slow to update current road conditions and graphic display is horrible. Miss the old MB 511 App. Sometimes best to leave things alone when they are working just fine.

Good app. Disregard the negative reviews. This is a very helpful app. As a trucker I have found this app very useful

Camera at oak lake. I rated the app a 3 because I had to repeatedly submit feedback the camera located at oak lake wasn’t working. I probably submitted a dozen messages asking for the camera to repaired and put online. It really is head scratching knowing these cameras are put in place for people’s safety. Drivers use the cameras to make decisions whether the highways are safe to travel on. Hopefully the all cameras are monitored for functionality and repaired if not operating properly. And it doesn’t take someone like myself to ask more than once to get things done.

They don’t update. What’s the point of having an app if you don’t update the information regularly when conditions worse

511 app. Just a bunch of unless garble..

Terrible. Don’t understand why they’ve tried to make this into a navigation app. We just need to know accurate and up to date road conditions. Most of us use 511 to check roads before driving and have no use for this new system. Seems like there is no way to actually get a real report on each roadway through the app anymore. The reports were poor in the first place (“snow covered”, sometimes means 1” of light fluffy snow which affects the drive minimally, or 2’ of wet slushy snow that no one could get through) Please look at highway reports from other places, Highway Hotline in Sask for example. The descriptions are much more clear, and most importantly they will say if travel is not recommended even though the highway may technically be open.

Not an improvement!. If this is supposed to be new and improved it is a huge failure! It is not the least bit user friendly, takes ages to find anything, too much stuff in the mail field and where is the time so you know when these road conditions were? I am ready to delete it…pleas give us back the previous one…

Update is a nightmare!. I was hoping that the update would be an improvement but…. It’s now harder to see the highway numbers, it wants you to give it a destination so it can give you the road conditions, the “route” it gave me would double my driving time and it doesn’t give you the option to change the route. I can’t access the camera on my route anymore for some reason but I can access cameras that are no where near me. I wish I had never done the upgrade
