An Avid Bible App User. Last month when my other bible app update went not too well. Making it difficult to get better use like before. I gave this bible app a try. And so far this is a bit better. I absolutely love that I can click it to make it flipping the page. Just like hard copy bible books. And change the background for light to dark modes, and highlights colors. I have this Amplified Bible app on all of my devices! Have not try the audio yet. Being that I use it for church purposes. It was hard to leave the old bible app I had so long ago for this new bible app. Must admit I do love this one more! Thank you for making this bible app! God bless to all the developers!

The Amplified Bible. I think this is a Good version of the Bible . Anything that helps people understand God's Word , I'm all for it. I'm a Bible teacher , and I would recommend it to anyone . It's a Great app. It's easy to highlight verses and make notes . I would also recommend reading it along with other translations ( compare it ) when ever I hear someone say they can understand the Bible , I tell them to read The Amplified version . The Amplified Bible. I love this version of the Bible. I have been using this version for many years, along with other versions, but the Amplified Bible is the Book that I read daily. I love how it brings the message home to the reader in a simple form, it is most encouraging to read. I love the scripture references, as it gives more understanding and insight through the various dispensations to some extent. Thank you so much for this app.

My Bible. The Bible app is amazing, i love the topics I can pick, and choose my version of the translation I understand. Even better is I can choose to have it read to me, this way I understand better. I picked the plan today called When we pray, by Tauren Wells it’s a 7 day plan. All my plans have been wonderful.... You just have to try it✝️

Amplified Read To You. I let it play all day and all night. Always with me. Love this Bible. I still think it is superior to most others. Love the amplified Greek and Hebrew expansion on meaning of words. I love the Irish accent while listening. The is no other book in the World that comes close to the Bible. It is alive and transforms you into a better person even while you are listening to it. You are making God your companion in life. Hi thoughts are higher.

Useful App. I just love the AMP version of the Bible. But the best feature about this app is that I am able to study and listen to the word without constantly having to set it on the next chapter. The reading is continuous until I stop it. So, I am able to sleep as the atmosphere is saturated with God’s Word.

Has all the verses. I’ve been looking through Bibles at our church and on different phones that people have. Matthew 17:21 Has been removed from a lot of these Bibles! And it’s heartbreaking to see the amplified and King James version both have it in there. It makes me very proud to have this copy and be able to read it because it expounds on the Scriptures and makes it easier to understand.

It has blessed me for more than 40 years !. I bought it 1/2 price, from a ‘ bargain table’ at the end of ‘Camp-meeting’. It was of a much better quality leather than I had ever had before, and I knew nothing about the word, Amplified! But I read what the authors had written and liked what they said ! I have worn it out, and sent it off to be re-bound. And it’s almost ready for a second re-binding! I only wish that I had written in it the date that I bought it, ‘cause I don’t know how old it is exactly ! I’m 89 now, and I take my ‘Amplified Bible with me always. Love this app!. I love this app! The amplified is my favorite version of the Bible and I really enjoy reading it. I love the accessibility. When I can't sleep, but my husband is snoring I can read without turning on the lamp and moving around to get my book. I just use my phone and read. It's a wonderful thing to have.

Bible access. I really enjoy having access to the Amplified Bible for study courses and the, away from home -at an important function times When I need look up the scripture and have ample clarity on the content Thank you for making this available!

The Amplified Bible. I read many different translations of the Bible and have consistently favored The Amplified Bible because it is translated from the original greek and hebrew languages. It enables me to understand the Bible much better, as it uses accurate descriptions of measurements, coinage, cultural and social mores, historically accurate time tables, maps, and references that clarify and “bring to life” scripture in a way that no other translation does. Reading this Bible for the past 30 years has allowed me to really come to know and trust The Lord and His Word.

My thought on this translation. I have found with all the Bible apps this one is the easiest to maneuver. It has numerous translations for good references, my only caution is to aware of some of the translations: wording could not be what KJV is. That is my only concerns. We have to be wise in what translation we choose. I choose KJV because I know it is the closest to the original translation from the Hebrew writings. I do however read another translation if I need easier clarity of a verse but, I do make sure it has not taken out important words like the blood, Jesus name, the cross, or changes words to make them have different meanings. A few have concerned be but just be wise and ask the Holy Spirit for clarity. God bless! Jesus is Lord!!!

A Review of what the word of God is. God’s word is always Beautiful Because he is his word as described in John chapter 1 In the beginning was the word, and the Word was with God, and the word was God,it solves life’s problems and its a sword against the adversary and also a road map to Heaven along with so many other wonderful things.

Review Amplified Bible. The Amplified Bible is VERY helpful for understanding words and statements made—wonderful for the person that needs understanding at the beginning of their road to salvation and food for understanding for those already saved by Christ Jesus —-HOWEVER for those that do not read so well the person that does the voice for audible is very hard to understand—her accent is very heavy and does NOT help the understanding of the Word —-

Very Good Bible. This app is very easy to use. You can highlight and add notes as you go. There is also a daily devotion. When you are in the Bible mode there is an audio function that will read as you go. The audio function can be adjusted but still sounds a little “robotic”.

MoleMan Review. Although most people like the KJ or NKJ version I found the Amplified B bile has been my favorite for studying the WORD. Having spoken several languages in my life I realize that many words have no exact equivalent interpretation to English. The amplified bible covers all possible translations which may or may not change your understanding of some scriptures.

Better settings. I got the Amplified Bible version and we all know it is a longer read than KJ. I would like to be able to bookmark how far I am in my reading. For example, if a I read 4 days worth and get ahead, I see no way of bookmarking and determining how far ahead I am. You have to go back to reading plan, scroll the arrow to determine how how far you have read. Then you have to remember what book and verse you left at. It would be nice to see exactly how far you have read at the reading point.

Great Study Aid. I love this Bible! It has replaced a treasured Amplified Bible I have used for 20 years that was completely worn out and difficult to navigate. Now I can easily carry this one all the time and have a ready means to study anywhere. May GOD bless everyone who has been or is responsible for this convenient study aid.

There are many versions and interpretations have been in serious controversy and opinion and war over this throughout the beginning of time all versions of Scripture is spiritual leave the words and interpretation of man/woman alone develop a spiritual relationship with God is going to teach you what you need to know what you need to do and that's it leave religion alone titles of he/she interpretations translations?? Flesh and blood only develop your relationship with God and him only not with man or his opinions or interpretations and that's all I have to say about that. Forrest Gump

Amplified Version. This is a very handy app and greatly appreciated. Some theologians think this version is not to be received at all, but I think there is a translation for everyone that they can relate to. And this is what is important. Personally I like to use several different ones at a time just to cross check them. I used to think this version was a bit clumsy until I found myself returning to it again and again for study and meditation. I like the features of this app as the print size is nice and big. And then there is the black on white or white on black font and background options. Overall this is very enjoyable to use. It is a nice addition to my leather bound copy which is about 35 years old. Amplified Bible. I use this bible because it has the audio feature You can choose what dialect or language. It has been a blessing. I like that way the audio follows the written word exactly by scrolling down each scripture. You can swipe to go from page to page or use the table of contents to go to a chapter easily.

Felix E Morgan, PhD. I found this version of the Bible, which allows me to hear God’s word, on an old cell phone that I had not used for a long time. There is a Bible verse that ends with something like “. .. and faith comes by hearing the word of God. The Amplified Translation has been my favorite for a long time. I also like the feature that you can choose the voice in which to hear. I have a good friend who is of Irish descent so I let her hear that voice. She thought that it was “ pretty good.”

True followers of Christ, you will grow with it. Yes, without exaggeration: this Bible app has been of great help to my word study life. Today, I can’t do without it in a day. And for the highlight option, you don’t have to worry on looking up what you highlighted yesterday because it as a ready made list for all your highlight as often as you do the highlights. Why I like this Bible App.. First it was very easy for me to get it. The pages are not complicated. I have other Bible apps and for me it took a minute to figure out how to get to the chapter and verse that I want. This app was super easy. Wonderful anytime, anywhere.. This app really helps me build my faith wherever I’m at or whatever I’m doing. I can turn on the audio and listen to Word of God or I can speak the word, the only con I have with the app is the ads, which you have to purchase the upgrade to the app to get rid of the ads. Aside from that very good and faithfilled Word of Faith.

Closest translation. I’ve been using this translation since the 70’s because it does not paraphrase. A group of people from different denominations came together to translate simply from the original languages, not assuming the intent but giving possible meanings from the root words from the Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. No concern for this translation. Read with a open heart and God will do the rest.

Blessed. Being on the road constantly , this makes having God’s word at my fingertips such an ease . The daily devotional and other extras are such a blessing as well to anyone seeking to be more as Jesus . I , with all my heart pray no matter where one is on their journey that installing and then daily using this app will bring you to a relationship with God that internally we know is where we belong .

Luv this Bible App!!. 4 stars only because the app will not let me upgrade to the no ads version. When I push the ads button at the top of the app the upgrade option appears and if I push upgrade or restore previous upgrade it does absolutely nothing and returns to the app interface. Please help !!!! would like to upgrade.

Outstanding for the Visually Impaired and DISABLED. I truly find using this Bible app to be not only intriguing, but to be fulfilling I am visually impaired some Sabla online, but this app allows me to be more visual, because it illuminates the word of God for me to see clearly, and to grow in the things of God it is easy to use and that is definitely a plus for someone with disabilities

Tons of features for a free app.. I like that I get the easy navigation of all electronic bibles, but the added feature of being able to have the words read to you is amazing. I don’t mind the ads at the bottom, they are not in my way and if they ever do get annoying I have the option to buy out.

Many are called.... In order to be chosen by God to spread The Word 1st you must understand The Word. This bible goes into a deeper meaning of God’s Word than every other Bible except maybe the Commentary. The scholars and educators who came together to pen this work have a background through study and research that is second to none. The Amplified Version - portable!. I am grateful to have this version in a portable form. Sometimes when someone makes a comment or I see something on TV or hear something on the radio, it reminds me of a passage of Scripture and I want to read it with all of the nuances or possible interpretations at once. I don’t want to have to write it down...go home...pull out my Amplified Bible...look up the passage and them try and remember what it was I was wondering about an hour ago. It’s convenient. Thank you developers for creating it.

Amplified Bible. I've used a hard copy Amplified for years and this digital version is a wonderful blessing as well. I have the audio option activated when working out on the treadmill. The only suggestion I would offer is to have an option to skip passage references after verses. It is somewhat disconcerting (at least for me) by altering the continuity of the scripture being read.

Great App. This was s the best App I have on my phone. I use it all the time especially when I am walking my frequent 6-10 or even more miles weekly exercise tour. It is also my soothing friend before I go to bed. Great App which makes the Bible even much more enjoyable to understand. The sound is also excellent. Thank you. While reading for my BSF I found that my Bible was too heavy. however I find this book is easier to use. I use it with a black background which makes the words pop out.l also like that I can also listen, the first time I used the feature it put me to sleep. Amplified Bible. I love the King James Bible. That’s what I grew up with. A friend introduced me to the Amplified Bible years ago it’s my favorite next to the KJB. It does what it says it amplifies God’s Word to help you understand it better. I’m so grateful to have it on my phone. No matter where I’m at I can open this Bible and be blessed. Great Resource!. Being able to use the free bible app has been a great resource for me. Specifically, while on my way to work, I utilize the audible scripture option. If I could pause the reading, and then have it continue anywhere (within the passage) that would be a great additional option!

I like this version. I just wish I could sync across devices. I was using it on my iPad and did a bunch of highlighting. Luckily i bookmarked and made notes along the way. When i went to use it on my iPhone, all of the highlights were gone but thank goodness the bookmarks remained, it seems. I wish it were sync-able. I like to read throughout my days and sometimes need what I highlight as reminders of the word of God, in green, or reminders of action items or what God calls me to do, in red. I use my iPad for my longer alone time with God, and my iPhone for my on the go needs. Nonetheless this is a great version! So fulfilling I don’t want to stop reading!

Now, we have an app that connects us with God’s word. Easy to use and the view can be customized for those of us who just can’t see that good anymore. A must have on your phone.. It’s great to have the word of GOD Available at all times with you. You can read at anytime. You can seek questions and get your answers. You can share it with those around you. It can heal you of any attack that wants to hurt you. It also Reminds me of who I Am In My lord and Savior Jesus !

I got this for the audio but it’s not working. How can you criticize the word of God? But I can’t criticize the fact that I got this app for the ability to have it read to me and there doesn’t seem to be any way to actually trying it on. I have everything set up in the settings, but no play button shows up when I actually tried to go do a specific chapter. Maybe there was an issue with uploading it to the store; hopefully this can be resolved right away.

Did you forget to read the Bible?. So far I love this app because it sends me a reminder to read the Bible, and when having a trouble time in life, it’s nice to have a reminder. I also really love the Amplified Bible because it is easier to understand than some of the other Bibles. So far I have to say this is a wonderful app. I highly recommend.

The Amplified Bible, my review. This Bible App has proved to be a great Blessing to me in my Spiritual Life. I love the way it is designed. Use this Bible. The audio needs work. The way the Bible references are read is ridiculous.. English uses one word for a Greek thought that uses several words. This Bible fleshes out the original meanings by conveying the thoughts of the original into English. A quicker method (rather than going back to the table of contents) for going to a different book would improve this app.

Selection Of Audio Voices. I installed this app for one reason: because it has an option to hear the Amplified Bible read for you. However I found that although many choices of different male and female voices with either British or American accents can be selected, irrefutably, and distractingly not a single one of them even is a real person – they are all of an archaic artificial computer generated type that because of that fact unavoidably grates on my nerves, and is very, very disruptive making the capability completely useless to me. Apple’s SIRI in comparison is far more real sounding than any one of those artificial ones you have on here to chose from. Please take the time, and resources to create audio of even just one living, breathing American male, and/or one living, breathing American female even to choose from instead of all those nerve grating primitive artificial voices. To me they all have the same highly distractive “fingers being scraped down a chalkboard effect on my nerves, and I’m sure I’m not alone in that regard!

Loving the Word of God. I completely enjoy reading the Amplified version of the Bible. It’s my favorite version. When reading it gives me the essence of a three course meal because the content is so rich in virtue and meaning. Originality explains it. Simply noting that this translation is making the way upward is to equate its rich value of sound usage of words in comparison to the Hebrew, Aramaic and, it Greek counterparts. The reason is that the Words of Christ is priceless but the Word nevertheless is a never changing Word in a ever changing World with the Mind of Christ in place this translation will render a nuance with this modern day usage of words that are ever been used.

Great help. To read God’s word in any format is right and proper as it brings us to His Throne in spiritual form to worship Him. In these last days before the return of Our Lord, it put us in line and our eyes are open to watch, wait and be ready to receive Him. I like very much that you add to the original text in brackets to give meaning of certain words which gives another meaning to the original word. Please don’t change it as it’s a good way of describing what is written. David J

The narrator. It would be wonderful to make the narration more fluid. It’s difficult to follow when we listen to it because of the staccato sound.

Food for the Spirit. In these days that are so uncertain, the bible is the one constant fixture I can go to and find comfort. No matter what the emotion or the the circumstances, you can go to the bible and find hope, comfort, joy or peace. It is God’s word, unfailing, never void and truthful. It is life, hope and expectation. It is God.🙏🏾

Okay. Good bible but the audio pronouncing of scripture verses not very good.

Review & comparative evaluation. While this version of Amplified Bible is appreciated the pronunciation is deplorable & required considerable improvement. Words like “whole” sound like “hoil”, etc. Furthermore, abbreviations like Rev (Revelations) are expressed as Reverend every time. This is most deplorable and needs to be fixed. BH

Next to reading the physical bible. The pages turn virtually to give a nice simulation of flicking the pages of the physical, word of God! The reader is able to make notation and book mark a particular page, while still viewing the scriptures/verse of interest. This includes a variety of highlighting options. Very easy to navigate through and select different books of the bible. Thank you for this creative tool which enriches the joy of reading and studying the word of God!!

Love this app!. I love this app! The amplified is my favorite version of the Bible and I really enjoy reading it. I love the accessibility. When I can't sleep, but my husband is snoring I can read without turning on the lamp and moving around to get my book. I just use my phone and read. It's a wonderful thing to have.

Hallelujah. I’m enjoying being able to put a word in the search bar and find related scriptures! Also, the Amplified is just my style! I study by The King James but then I look to the amplifier to give me more revelation 🙏❤️🙌

Application Bible. This is probably my favorite study Bible. Easy to read but I love having it on my phone. When I didn’t get my reading done at home I can get my daily reading in during the rest of day.

Love it!!!. Love it! Convenient, user friendly. I’ve had it on my phone for about 2 years. It my go-to online. And it’s kinda cool, because I always have my Bible with me, right at my fingertips, even when I don’t know ahead of time that I need it!

Clarity enhances understanding.. Although, supposedly, language vocabulary is progressive, meaning new meanings are continually added over time, the different shades of meaning are more diverse. Understandability enhances application and, consequently behavior modification increases.

I know I would like it if I could figure out how to go from book to book. I know I would like it if I knew how to look up different areas of the Bible I wanted to listen to I cannot figure that out so I don’t get to use it hardly at all some days I want a read or listen and Peter and Sundays in Isaiah have no idea how to do that I’ve tried Tryon couldn’t figure it out sorry amplified is a wonderful Bible I love it for references

Amplified Bible. I love using the amplified Bible as it helps me understand versus much better. It is easy to find what I need. The only problem I have had is that I notice that the ending of the first verse of a new chapter is cut off many times, and I have to look up the full verse in the Bible other than on this app. Keep up the good work.

Deeper meaning to the word.. The amplified bible opens the word of God like a gift on Christmas morning. As wonderful as the wrapping looks we cant wait to tear into it to reveal the real gift inside. Love the Amplified Bible. I’ve always loved the Amplified Bible, because it sheds light on the meaning of words, without having to leave the text to turn to a concordance. It helps to personalizes the scriptures. I have recommended the Amplified version to many.

Luv this Bible App!!. 4 stars only because the app will not let me upgrade to the no ads version. When I push the ads button at the top of the app the upgrade option appears and if I push upgrade or restore previous upgrade it does absolutely nothing and returns to the app interface. Please help !!!! would like to upgrade.

I love the depth. I have always loved the depth of the Amplified Bible, and I really like being able to carry it with me in all my devices now. I haven’t yet learned to use all the search features, but I am spending time every day reading the Bible and learning as I go.

Amplified. I gave it 5 Stars because I really like the ap. So how can there be a however? I would really like to copy more than one verse at a time in order to jeep verses in context, but that option is not available. Having said that, It is still a great Ap.

Missing parts. I’ve been reading 1 Samuel and I have found that it is missing several chapters in this book. Not sure in the other books because I started reading this book first in this app. Not fond of not being able to have all the information.

Classic Amplified. I like this because this is the classic amplified. The amplified (AMP) was revised in 2015 and now finding Bibles with the (AMPC) classic amplified Bible text prior to the revision is difficult. Ironically, I started with the revised 2015 version but a friend of mine made me aware of the different versions and I’ve since come to discover that the older version is superior.

Excellent. The Amplified Bible has been my right hand in reading & studying the Bible for over 50 years. I’ve tried other Bibles, some that I keep for study or reference. However, the Amplified Bible is closest to my heart.

Great insight while reading. I like this version of the Bible since it gives me more insight on the meanings of the words and has good cross references . I use it as a backup to my daily bible reading when I want more insight on the text and it always gives me better understanding of what I am reading.

Great for new Bible studies. The text is so simplified which allows for much easier understanding while I’m learning the Bible. I really love the read the Bible in 365 set up. Great reminder to take a moment to reflect and build up my spirituality

Amazing. I have tried desperately to read the King James Bible but was very frustrated with the wording. I heard of the Amplified bible from Bobby Connor and immediately found this app. I'm thrilled to be able to finally understand Gods word. A true gift.

Amp Bible review. Hebrew and Greek nuances from the original textus receptus manuscripts sharpen the readers understanding of the specific meaning of the scriptures. For instance Ex 20:1 . . . shall have no other gods before Me OR BESIDES ME which is clearly meant in the original Heb text & mind. This alone destroys Mormonism and all other polytheistic religions

Great study tool. I love it ! I get additional meaning by the amplification. The extra descriptive text really helps with understanding scripture in a more complete way. I also like the fact that this app will read aloud. That's a great option. Thank you for creating it.

Extra extra - read all about it. My mother suggested I add an (AMP) amplified Bible to my reading, for extra reference of verses I'm reading! I decided to see if there was one in an app and found this and it was by the same company as her 1960s she originally bought. Outstanding reference material!

Enjoyable. This translation is easy to read and understand. It’s my favorite translation. I just wish you included notes/comments.

More Revelation Knowledge. This is the second most used bible when I have a Bible Study. The clarity has increased my learning in the word of God. I love it! I work with young Marines and it seems like when teaching the word from the Amplified version to them faces light up more with revelation knowledge.

Good news. This is a good bible always read the good news this world is full with sinners you have to repent before you past away remember go to church every Sunday or whatever day is fine with you men are layers but Jesus will naver leave you or lie to you

Dr Kennith Hughes. An excellent Bible that brings clarity to the scripture. It also helps because it in every day language where anyone can see and understand what God is saying. It is a rich and full translation.

Translation. This Bible is so good for just reading or as a study Bible. I love how it breaks words down to the meaning that was intended for that particular verse. Words can mean so many different things by definition but this explained the aurthors intended use. Just awesome!

Upgrade?. I use this app everyday. I don't like the ads and have tried to upgrade many times. But it doesn't work. I have also tried to message support service, with no response. Otherwise, the app is great. Thanks!

Wonderful. This is a wonderful version, easy to understand, yet true to the authorized KJV . I took off a star because the ads, which really are only on the bottom of the page, can be a distraction as they move and change a lot.

Amplified Bible. I love the Amplified Bible. I read it often when reading my King James Version. It's my go-to. It is also great for young people and children. If they don't understand something in the King James Version, they can go to the Amplified version. I recommend the Amplified Bible for young Christians.. Goes great with the Zondervan King James.

Motivating and Inspiring Devotionals. The daily motivational readings not only inspire but afford biblical direction that has helped me look deeper in my soul my spirit and ultimately my purpose. The readings have helped me focus on the positive and remove the negative. This is where progress begins.

Amplified understanding!. Having used the Amplified Bible for many years, the technical availability is very much appreciated. The beauty of the Amplified Bible for me is the richness of word pictures taking me to the writer’s perspective instead of my own.

Bible on my phone. I love having the Bible on my phone! It’s there ‘ready to read or listen to any time day or night! The scripture look up is so easy to use and when my eyes are tired I let it read it for me aloud. You have the Bible with you every where all the time.

Bible study. This has been an invaluable asset to my study and growth in God’s Word. I use my Bible most of the time, but when not available or when I want an extra translation it is so helpful! Thank you for making this available.

Helpful uplifting app. I appreciate the fact that it's amplified Bible very understandable the only problem I have is that every time I copy one verse it doesn't go down to the next I have to come back and get it if I'm sending it to somebody but otherwise this is a awesome app

Amplified Version. For years this has been my favorite translation/version of the Bible. The amplification of the scripture immediately expands understanding and stimulates expanded thoughts. “ a word fitly spoken is like unto apples of gold in a setting of silver” Proverbs 25

Why I Love This Bible.. I love this Amplified Bible because it’s so easy to use and it’s enhanced with words that describe in detail the scripture. I love it on my phone because that makes it so handy and keeps it with me all the time, so I can read it anytime.

Great!. I love this version, it actually straitened out a couple meant to be errors in the King James, that I have found , Mans heart , evil and desperately wicked, he added to in Acts 21:25 and 1Peter 2:2 he changed one , the end Word (thereby) is "Salvation" in the original Greek correct me if I am wrong , I pray each one that reads this , Seek truth . What Truth is according to Gods Word Psalms 119:142 Gods Law (Torah) is Truth !

Excellent!. I had an older version of the Amplified Bible, this version is easier to read. I find that reading the Amplified deepens my understanding of a verse! Also I love having a version that allows me to search key words for study!

Wonderful!. I absolutely love this version! It’s an easy read and I can understand what exactly happened/happens. The backside is the “voices” they have are horrible it sounds like a robot.

Great Study Aid. I love this Bible! It has replaced a treasured Amplified Bible I have used for 20 years that was completely worn out and difficult to navigate. A must have on your phone.. It’s great to have the word of GOD Available at all times with you. You can read at anytime. You can seek questions and get your answers.
