Perfect For Reddit’s Routine. I love that the exercise progressions are already coldest and easy to change. I still have to figure out how to easily keep track of the amount of l-sit reps and such small details. Also, having offline videos is incredibly useful.

Needs a how to use page or a tutorial. When I first downloaded the app it gave me a list of each exercise and the full length video to watch in app, but now I no longer see that list and can only see videos when I start a workout. The FAQ is only related to the recommended routine and not the app (which makes sense) and the reddit thread containing info about the iOS app hasn't been updated in 2 years and does not contain a tutorial. The idea is nice, but if I have to keep leaving the app to watch videos why even have the app? I might as well just use my browser.

Almost perfect!. Fantastic app- I appreciate this as a redditor from the bodweight fitness subreddit. One issue: when resting between sets, I found that if I let the app run in the background and go to my music app, the timer appears to slow down/pause.

Intuitive app. Fantastically made intuitive to use app. Simple tools for tracking reps and sets. Easy to change to a different intensity level. No mess. Fantastic work!

Surprised by how good this is especially for athletes. I'm a powerlifter and strength coach, currently branching out into Calisthenics. This is the best app for calisthenics I have seen for probably 90% of people. It keeps everything very simple but offers a depth level of progressions from very basic levels to high level gymnastics strength training. I'm loving the breakdown of mobilization exercises as the warmup, great classic stuff. The only workout app you need. Thanks for this, and good luck to all the devs involved.

Great and easy to use. Great app. Only complaint is that the L-sit timer is a bit confusing to use. I also wish they included an alternate progression for the dip exercise. I know that in an earlier version of the reddit bodyweight regimen there was a progression for pike push-ups on through hand stand push-ups which would be nice to have as an option instead of dips. Otherwise I love the app.

Perfect.. Love using this for molding mobility and starting stretch, the only thing they could do to improve is make sure they have every movement of each and add in the warm up movements for molding mobility (cat pose, body circles, etc).

Where the sound to the videos. Is their sound. I can look all day at what the screen shoes but if I’m not engaged and do not what muscles to squeeze. I’m confused.

Great for staying on track. Awesome app and I've loved almost every improvement made since it's beginning. My one complaint would be the mandatory cooldown timer. Some times I do more of a circuit training and the timer slows me down somewhat. Making the timer both customizable and optional would be great!

Could use an update but still excellent. I would like the app to have options to track all of the routines in r/Bodyweightfitness … I still like the routine in app but just request for more options!

Fantastic resource. Great way to show proper form, timing, tracking. Keeps my focus on the workout better than using a standalone timer, imo.

Great app! Love the design.. Seen great results in the few weeks since I've started this program. In terms of design, I prefer this over other body weight fitness apps out there. Ideas for improvements: Anyway to keep the timer running while the app is minimized? Also, a change in background color or other visual cue for when the timer is running would be amazing! Keep up the good work.

Solid Workout - Experiment for Optimal Results. Take the time to use this app and you will see results. I recommend you only do what you need for the number of reps and adjust as you understand your body

Great for mobility and stretching too. I unfortunately don't have a full sized doorway to use the pull-up bar I bought and working out outside isn't pleasant for half the year in Minnesota, so I unfortunately haven't been able to do pieces of the RR, but I have been using the app three times weekly for mobility and stretching and it is great. Easy to use and the embedded gifs showing each movement help a ton.

Great!. Great app, I just started to get into the Bodyweight training thread on Reddit and this is a great addition. I recommend maybe adding voice activation if "go" and "stop" for timers. Trying to start a timer in a handstand is..... interesting :).

Such a great app. This is exactly what a workout app should be. Not a lot of frills, but has all the tools you do need. My favorite part is the videos on loop below the exercise you're doing. That makes it so much easier for someone new to these exercises!!

Great for all skill levels. I prefer hitting the gym, but with my work schedule, I travel too often to have a predictable gym date. That's when I looked on Reddit and found /r/bodyweightfitness. Their recommended routine is perfect! My only gripe was the difficulty of tracking. When the app came out, it solved all the problems I had. It also has videos for each movement which is necessary since I'm not hip to all the jargon. Great app, wonderful people, predictable results. What more could we ask for?!

Solid App, Worth the Space. Super useful for me at least, and I recommend it to anyone too lazy to pop over to the gym. An app kinda reinforces the routine a bit better than you'd think.

Free Exercise. I've seen it on reddit and had to try it. Bodyweight exercises helped me in the past so I'm using this app as a great resource. Will check back in a couple of months.

Not updated?. Great app, but I don’t think it’s updated with the current version of the recommended workout? I was expecting shrimp squats, tucked hanging leg raises, etc., but I didn’t see those in the app. I feel a bit silly paying for it now, since I’ve been following the newer version.

Great app but out of date. Great UI, excellent visual aides. I do wish it would be updated to work with the new RR. That said this is a full body workout and will show improvements if you stick with it!

Getting real fit!. Really enjoy the workout. Used to do gymnastics/cheerleading and have been looking for a way to get back into that shape. Great exercises and simple to use. Highly recommend it!

Good app. Saw this on Reddit, tried it. 40 minutes or so to do the whole workout, didn't feel sore figured it didn't work. Woke up this morning and it definitely worked.

Love the workout. I love the workout. The app needs some refining. The timer stops running if I move away from the app. Some buttons aren't very responsive...definitely not my phone. Otherwise a great tool.

Awesome app!!!. This app is amazing. I use this app for stretching after my strength training. The only suggestion I have for making this app better is to allow sign in via Facebook or Google. And allow synchronization over multiple smart devices. Otherwise, great work developers! Keep up the amazing job.

Makes starting this routine easy!. I wanted to start this routine and had read the Reddit post a couple times, but I still wasn't sure of exactly what to do. This app makes it INSANELY easy to do the exercises with the correct rest periods.

Fantastic App. I’ve done bodyweight programs before, but never with an app that guides you through. Very easy to use and to understand. I love the fact that you can go back in and edit or view your past workouts. The only thing I can think of to include that would be helpful is a “Finish Workout” button (or equivalent), when you’re done with your sets. Right now it almost feels a bit incomplete.

Perfect weekly workout buddy. So happy I found this via Reddit. Love the quick GIFs for form check, and knowing there's ample discussion on the threads if I have other questions. No complaints, would definitely recommend!

Instant Workouts. This app is wonderful. It creates a unique workout everyday separated into 3 parts: warmup, mobility, and strength. It tracks your progress with a built-in counter and a built-in timer. It has a video demonstrating proper execution of each exercise. You simply select your level of fitness and begin your workout and it's free. I couldn't ask for more.

Awesome and effortless. I love this app and have been using it for 8 months or so and it has been nothing but helpful in making me stay the course. There have been weeks and months where it felt like I wasn't making as much progress but but I consistently did it 3-5 times a week and basically with this app I've been able to accomplish a 1-2 second handstand. I started from a 8-10 second wall plank, so definitely progress and I definitely have a ways to go but I couldn't do it without this app.

Easy and effective. This app made it so easy to start working out and keep it up with the progressive workouts

Two complaints. Easy to follow, versatile routine translated into a clear process by the app. This all appears to have been done in service if the Reddit community that is popularizing this workout, making it free to everyone. If there’s room for improvement it’s by building in the necessary omissions for beginners. The written instructions on which this routine is based are clear that the pull-ups and dips portion should be omitted until you can do 3X8 diamond pushups and 3X8 horizontal rows. The same is true of omitting the handstand training until you can hold a straight arm plank for a minimum of 30 seconds. Perhaps there’s some way of ‘unlocking’ these once the necessary progressions have been reached. Lastly, the bigger problem is how annoying it is to switch between exercises using the arrows. Millimeter accuracy is necessary and I often get frustrated with the app.

Great and simple. Title says it all ^ .. Very easy to use for beginners if you don't know what you're doing and need a head start on building strength, mobility, and/or flexibility. :) 10/10

Great Tool to Develop a Body Weight Exercise Routine. I've been following the body weight fitness community for a few months now, and it has helped me develop an adequate exercise routine to incorporate into my daily life. The Body Weight Fitness app has makes learning the routine more accessible for me especially when I'm traveling. I'm able to practice the body weight exercises, starting stretches, and mobility exercises any where and at anytime. Additionally, the timer settings and daily log system allow me to better track my progress.

Best workout app ever. I used a bunch but finally stuck with this one. It's basic and focused on form more than reps. Ditch the gym and get going in your home.

Excellent app!. This has everything I wanted in an exercise app - tracking, progression, even video guides for each exercise! And no hidden fees, just a way to donate if you like it. Cannot recommend this enough.

Health app integration would be great. I’ve known this app for a long time. It’s a good option for starters to figure things out, but unfortunately developer isn’t paying much of an attention. There are no features or improvements added. At least adding a health app integration would be really great.

Best app for recommended routine. This app is awesome and it walks you through reddit’s r/bodyweightfitness recommended routine. It also has videos of each exercise progress and provides workout tracking. My only requests, that are merely nice-to-haves, are for a 45 second rest option and a ~3 second delay between starting a timer for an exercise and the timer actually starting. It often takes me a few seconds after starting a timer to get into position and start the exercise, so the delay would be nice. Ultimately, fantastic app.

Great intro to BW training. Very organized and straightforward. The integrated exercise gifs make it easy to understand the movements. Allows you to track workouts. Directly links to the subreddit in case you have questions.

Great core group of exercises!. Totally understand it’s one guy who develops everything. But if you’re listening, I would love to see a progression added to squats which allows an input of additional weights. Keep developing! It’s awesome. I think also a splash screen to preview the entire list of exercises in the routine would be great too.

Best app for beginners. Best app for beginners but also for people serious about body weight training. The mobility and flexibility work outs are basic but just what I needed (recovering from a herniated disc). The bw routine allows one to choose the level of difficulty (progression) for every exercise. The interface is simple and very intuitive and the videos make it easy to follow the exercises.

Great features, free, overall well done. Had a hard time finding the start button at first, but then afterward it is smooth sailing. Appreciated.

Great app. Awesome app. Only downside Ive noticed so far is that the app gives time to rest between each bodyline drill even though the Recommended Routine specifically says not to rest between those workouts. Despite this, this app still deserves 5 stars for ease of use, educational potential, and how well it helps you track your workouts.

Convenient. Do it anywhere app is great for watching tv and getting exercise. Tracking is a breeze, keeps me motivated. Just getting started and this app helps with video demonstrations.

Good basic workout. But it needs a little work. One of the things I would like to see is how I am progressing through the routines (2 Of 9, 6 Of 9, etc).

Excellent quality, needs an update. The Recommended Routine has changed, and I have been using the newer version, so this app requires some adjustments to my routine. For example, there are lots more options in the squat and pull up progressions now, but the app doesn’t reflect them. No place for my shrimp squats to go.

Extremely helpful and super direct. With the videos and easy to follow exercises, I have no problem just turn it on and move along with it. Just a small suggestion that I'm trying, you can turn on whatever music you want on background as well.
