Mediocre grammar. Can’t toggle back and forth through questions. Has not been well vetted for punctuation and some spelling mistakes. But, for free, it is still very accessible for extra practice.

Good questions. I have had the app for 10 minutes so I am still testing it out. I like the questions but I would like to see a but to explain the answer after the question.

Nec questions. Awesome app narrows your questions to the point recommend for all electrical jobs. Perfect for references and for not for sure situation.

Review of the century. Great tool to keep info fresh and up to date in your head

Proofread your questions. Some of the answers are either written in a way you can’t understand, or the answers are flat out wrong

Could be better. This app would be more helpful if there was an explanation for why an answer is wrong and an NEC reference.

Mediocre. It doesn’t explain why you’re wrong, or why you’re right with any references or explanations for beginners.

If you wanna stay sharp and up to date on the endless and advancing knowledge of the safty codes set forth by the electrical NEC book, do dieses!!!!!! (30 minutes a day just take each question as they come and they twice a day). And you’re mine will stay sharp and your knowledge will grow guaranteed..

17 year electrician. The questions are suspect, I do not recommend this app for those who seriously want to have a practical Electrical understanding you're better off paying a couple dollars in purchasing the NEC Challenge app. The NEC app, questions on the book you'll be asked questions about. Do not agree with all answers. Poor App. Not the best App. Some of the answers I disagree with. Would be nice if the answer an the question showed for awhile before it disappeared

DO NOT USE THIS APP IF YOU ARE STUDYING THE CODEBOOK. Absolute garbage! Not sure which state these people live in or if they even live in the US. It’s a disgrace that unqualified people would make such an app that has the potential to steer our up-and-coming tradesmen in the wrong direction. Absolute crap!

Test. I’m A retired journeymen electrician ( for about 15 years now. ) except for the new technology I have not used, I did parity good on the test.

Over all great, but?. I love the app but if I wanted more from it, there would be a reference to the question teaching you without having to buy the mastery app.

Learning & experience. Is good to gather knowledge in the electrical philosophy the alone beneficiary is you and gather the most of the certifications from residential, commercial, & industrial Electrician. Also motor controls ,and PLC’S level 1 - just for journeyman electricians only. ( is well come to NCCER certifications & credential 70 to 80 hours)

To improve. It’s a nice app but it should display pictures maybe.

IBEW Local 11. Some of the questions and answers not up to date. 50% of questions are OTJ Experience . It’s a good app for someone learning. Gives no references for answers. Does little help for state cert, other than to think about electrical work.

Great App. Shame there isn’t a Canadian version, prepping for my CofQ and the Canadian version of this app is 90$ and crashes constantly. This has lots of applicable codes and practices but also lots that doesn’t apply.

Include section where code is found. I enjoy this app but I don’t know where these are located at in the code book. Include year for reference.

Weird questions. Some of the questions are really odd. They ask about trade terms and nicknames for things. None of those questions will be on a legitimate test. Seems like a waste of time. One question was on what topic of the code is over 60 pages? There were two correct answers listed and the one they said was correct isn’t as important as the other. Seems like random people made the questions and are trying to get people to answer the questions incorrectly.

Dumb. Some of the Questions are totally irrelevant to the NEC book

Wrong answers. I’ve used this app twice now in the last week I’ve had a half dozen questions that you had wrong answers to. Yes I double checked them in my code book.

The boom. It’s an app that explodes with knowledge!

OUTSTANDING. This is a outstanding & very helpful tool. Please after 3 wrong attempts to automatically highlight the correct answer to make it easier for your eyes to focus on the correct answer. It's very nice to be able to just click on wrong attempted questions & to specifically go through those. Outstanding app. Ability to have separate category for public to make questions & filtered by public.

Test. Great app EVER !

Inaccuracies. Not all questions here are code questions. It would be better if questions were based on a standard such as the NEC or UL. The Master Electrician Reference is not a code book and is not enforceable by any AHJ. Also, some of the questions are not written explicitly enough to give an answer.

Fun way to learn. Great application I enjoyed the first time I used it very good mix of questions keeps you interested and entertained while playing code a day! I’m keeping it now downloaded 12 different Electrian apps and deleted 4 already

Easy to use. I’ve been working odd jobs while trying to find electrician work after completing school. This app helps me keep my mind on the code book and stay current.

Love it, but it's stuck "waiting". Having actually taken code exams, this is a good app for the short multiple choice general knowledge questions that are on exams. For some reason my app is frozen in"waiting" and I can't even delete it. Other than that it's great!

Not true to NEC. Several questions do not jive with the NEC. One question- "What is the NEC based on?" Answer was "copper wire". Other options were- "Aluminum wire, safety in the workplace, none of the above". The NEC is derived from the NFPA and designed to decrease the possibility of electrical hazards. App needs improvement on TRUTHFUL Q&A's based factually on the NEC

Rule of thumb. Need to ask more code related questions. There are too many rule of thumb questions.

Electrical code of the day. This application is pretty Good. to brush up on my electrical so I can get back in trade.

No Code. This app would be far better if it had corresponding NEC references when applicable. That way the user could look up the code.

Code test. Love it

NEC. Great app for questions pertaining to NEC. Fun to see how good you think you are with the electrical code.

Needs improvement. This app would be so much better if it gave the NEC codes so students could research the code in there NEC code books and have a more hands on learning experience. Then it would truly be an app worth purchasing.

No. Just no.. A whole bunch of irrelevant questions. One question was promoting the guy who wrote the app, no one cares. How about more questions on actual code instead of trade practices and old school stuff, because people have different methods. And No one cares that silver is a better conductor than copper. No one.

NEC Wording. Questions and answers should be worded exactly the way the NEC book is written. The journeyman test is code heavy and it would be helpful if these quiz questions were more specific. It speaks generally on code, but I need more.

Leaves much to be desired. First thing this developer needs to do is hire an English Major to proof read these questions! The grammar is terrible to the point that I had difficulty understanding some of them. Note: I've been an Electrician since 1973, graduated #1 in my class and hold multiple County Licenses by Exam and 2 by resiprosity. For example, "What is the maximum number a breakers permitted in a panelboard"? Should read "What is the maximum number OF breakers..." You Do Not RAN pipe. You RUN pipe. They need to correct questions that ask for a Yes/No response but give True/False choices. And if NEC doesn't stand for National Electric Code what does it stand for? I could go on and on. Just because the app is free is no excuse.

BS. There was a question asking what “NEC” stands for. National Electric Code was a wrong answer. I don’t know how these answers can be trusted to be correct. Plus, some of the questions read like they were written by a drunk person
