Amazing App!. Best app I’ve found for you little girl. Easy to navigate. Amazing graphics and keeps kids entertained. They thought of everything! I loved that you can access EVERYTHING during the free trial. It definitely gave me the confidence to pay monthly. We will be long term users!

This app is awesome. I got this app years ago for my son, who is now 8. My youngest son who is 6 and Autistic absolutely loves playing the games in this app. This app has helped him learned on the different sounds of the letters and 2 letters together makes. I am truly grateful this app exists.

Fun to learn. My son is in Kindergarten but doing virtual learning right now. He did not get the whole mechanism of ‘phonics’ and had a lot of pressure when he had to take a test on some of the sight words. I tried several apps to teach him the phonics in a fun way, and this is the best one at this moment. Fun storytelling to describe the word, and great animations. I wish I could make a list for the ‘favorite words’ of our own, so that kids can focus on those ‘selected by mom’ words. And I hope it has more sight words. So far, we really enjoy to use this app.

Lovin this game but…... So i like playing this game. But the spelling list managed to get the f word in the spelling words. Like how? There is kids playing this game and like i’m not gonna deal with the fact that they put the f word. i still like this game but i don’t like how it put bad words. but don’t worry, the voice doesn’t know how to pronouce the f word. And another thing. Whenever i try to open a word it always does this stupid runtime error thingy. idk why, but it does that. So overall so good but remove the f word from the spelling list and try to stop with the runtime error. so 4/5 stars. I like hanging out with the wonsters tho. Frank patti wart olivia and ari (idk how to spell his name) they are all amazing.

Great for learning. My son loves this app and he's learning some pretty big words! It's his go to app. He was having trouble with his letters and this app has really helped him blossom and now he knows almost his whole alphabet and how to pronounce each letter. Highly recommend this app for those with struggling spellers and letter learners.

Not user friendly. We decided to subscribe to the 7 day trial so that my son can see how good it is, for 8 dollars a month we should be able to use it on multiple iPads to benefit him and his siblings… I had thought it was a glitch in the system but we can use it on multiple iPads and unfortunately we just ran out of the trial time. We can easily get 2 different subscription to other platforms for the same price and be able to use on multiple other iPads. The app itself isn’t user friendly. One has to go through the stages to be able to advance to get more material… why make a 5 years old count or spell in 3- 4 languages to be able to advance to the next activity when they are not proficient in what they are trying to learn on your app? There should be an option to choose a language of choice either English , Spanish, Chinese, and all the other languages you have there instead of forcing toddlers to go through all of them to go to the next activity. This is not proper teaching. I wish I could cancel this app subscription all together and use that money to get a more user friendly, kid friendly app. Please refund my money, this app isn’t useful to us. Thank you.

7 year old gives it 5 stars. I let my child rate the app. He says 5 stars because it’s fun. He dreads doing “school work” but the night we downloaded the app, he ended up “playing” on it for over a hour. I love that it progresses with your chid. It’s helped him with his reading and sight words tremendously.

I am SHOCKED!!! Not Happy!!!. I just did my first written review for this Wonster Words App last week. I have had it for my Son for 2 years now, so I figured Id give a great review since we did love it up till today. I wrote thw review last week and this week all of a sudden ((i have the screen shots)) i have received 3 notifications from Wonster Words "Hi Im Anna, 22 1.5 km (dont know what that means, but okay) lets meet. Here are my photos and number" other one, "Sarah sent. Sext request" and the 3rd was ANOTHER Anna asking "Do you wanna meet 💋" ON A CHILDRENS APP!!! My Son is 4!!! HOW WOULD THIS EVEN HAPPEN! Cancelling my Subscription now.

Truly amazing app. My daughter has been using this app since she was 2 years old. Her vocabulary, comprehension, and sentence structure started to astonished people during her first year of preschool. She is excited during the games! She loves phonics, learning the alphabet, and is proud of new vocabulary words she incorporates into her daily conversations. Sometime while chatting with her I have to remind myself, “ She is only 4 years old.” This app jump started my child’s love of the alphabet, words, communication and speech. I would have never imagined this app would truly impact our lives, yet It did! Aryanna told me yesterday, “ Mommy, I am doing well.... I don’t say that I am doing good. I say “doing well... that’s the correct way to say it....” She is doing a legendary job !” I wish they had an app that could get her to enjoy handwriting!

Toddler friendly. My two year old has learned so many new words and concepts in only a few weeks. She absolutely loves this app. I love how new activities are constantly being added and updated

Fun way to learn vocabulary, age sections would be helpful. These games are a fun way to learn vocabulary. There are games and video explanations related to the words that are unique to this app. The letters are sounded out which is a great feature. It doesn't work by level of education or age but that would be my only suggestion that a child could practice sight words at a younger age and move up to more difficult words.

What happened. I had this app for a long time (6+ years) now all of a sudden it doesn’t have a free version and the one time payment we made for the full version also went away and I don’t see any way to restore the full version we purchased. We loved this app it helped my son with Autism learn his letter sounds that’s why we purchased the full version and recommended it to literally everyone in my special needs Facebook groups and to his therapist and teachers but i will not be doing that anymore because 7.99 is a little steep for a special needs parent to play when the already have so many other overwhelming expenses!!

Love it. I have a nonverbal son with autism that I am homeschooling. This app has been so helpful! I like that it isn’t endless talking when you click on an activity and he can jump in and start playing. I love how in depth some of the puzzles are where they can build airplanes and such. He loves it, as well as his brother! It’s unique from other learning apps. We will continue to use this for a long time!

Saving my bacon during quarantine. Without this app my kindergarten son would have fallen behind in school since my wife and I are both working during the day. Instead he’s learning site words and staying entertained during the day. He now knows sight words up to third grade. Thanks, Wonster Words!

They love it. We started out with the demo version which they loved and my kids would get upset they couldn’t get to the rest of the games, I ended up purchasing the app, they can’t get enough. My kids love the sounds the letters make and my son is obsessed with the science part. He loves dinosaurs so we’re just waiting for it to be available.

Better EVEN than expected. I can’t begin to express how much I love this. My granddaughter loves it more, of course. She’s been at it for an hour and shows no sign of stopping. She barely even knows she’s learning. She’s 6 but I started her out on the level for 4 year olds. I wanted her to experience some success before it gets challenging. I think it was a good choice.

Fun. My 7yr old is loving this learning game he’s having difficulty with phonics in school right now and I’ve noticed since we started using Monster Words he’s doing much better and it’s less of a battle to get him to want to sit down and practice his sounds and words thank you Monster Word for making learning fun again.

This is great. App this app is great and very interactive. It works well with different ages and the stories are animated which is even better. I would highly recommend this app. I use it for speech and for my own children at home as well as work

Great for my kids. We have been using Wonster Words to help keep our kids entertained while out and about and introduce word sounds and more for years. All of our kids still love playing it at times from our 2 year old to our 11 year old.

Fun and Educational!. My 4 year old daughter loves this app very much. It is fun and educational. She is definitely learning words. I also love this app because of the phonetic aspects. It helps her pronounce letters while spelling words. It’s gotten to the point where I can use this fun app as leverage to get her to do chores like cleaning her room. I’m not one to pacify her with electronics but Wonster Words is one app I’ll gladly use to reward her when she behaves.

Can’t use on other devices. We LOVE this app! My son took to it so fast and doesn’t want to put it down and I love that he’s learning. However, there is no log in and the subscription was purchased on my iPad so he can’t use the app on his iPad. He can only play it on my iPad and phone. For $8 a month I wish we were provided a log in so he could play on at LEAST up to 3 different devices like other subscription apps. It’s really inconvenient, but other than that it’s great! An update to fix this and I would change my review to 5 stars!

I’d steer clear of this one. You can’t try out the app unless you give them payment information and agree to subscribe at the end of the 7-day trial. You can cancel at any time, but I’m guessing they plan on people forgetting and subscribe at the end of the week. Strike one. The little games and whatnot are pretty simple and quick. I just don’t think there’s enough material to justify $8 per month. Strike two. Within a day or two of the trial, we began getting sexts from people inviting my 5-year-old to have sex. There was nothing that could induce me to keep the app after that. Strike three, you’re out.

Awesome!. Our son is almost three and is so entertained by this app he cannot help but learn. We recommend this to everyone we know with kids around his age. I hope more is to come. I think he would expand his vocabulary as long as he had new content to explore! Thank you Wonster Words!

cute and funny. this app uses ingenious ways to keep the attention of the user. My son loves spelling and earning gear for his animal who he can later control dance moves on. the sounds made while holding a letter in place is humorous and you cant helpbut giggle. If only schools could pick this up and teach children as children again!

We’ve had this game for about 18 months. My child started playing this game right around 12 months old and learned his letters and sounds very quickly. Family and friends were always impressed when he could identify letters and made a pretty big deal, which made him feel pretty proud. The huge update was a mistake for our family - they seemed to have integrated a lot from their other game puzzingo and my child now gets frustrated because he has a hard time with finding the games he loved to play. We probably won’t let our soon to be 12 month old loose on it either as I think there’s too much to confuse him now. If your kids haven’t played before it’s probably a solid choice - but I think it’s always messy changing a toddlers favorite thing into something unrecognizable - so if your kid loves this game and you haven’t updated yet DONT! Just download puzzingo if you’re worried about missing out on content.

Amazing ⭐️. My 3 yr old loves it! Shes been playing since 2 & is definitely advanced! I definitely recommend for all babies to at least try it! Every child has different interest she loved this more than the other apps.

Good education game. I liked the previous version better when it was just words but the new one with math and art etc are good too. Keeps my son occupied in our daily rides to after school classes that are half hour away. He loves the characters and learns words, definitions and reading while in the car instead of some silly game that teaches nothing. A year and a half later he still enjoys the game so I’m happy.

Obsessed. My 3 year old is obsessed with this game. He loves super monsters on Netflix so I decided to download this to see if he would like it. I just purchased the lifetime access to unlock the whole thing. He’s going to be so excited when he finds out. Academically he tends to be ahead of his class so I think this app is perfect to continue challenging him in a fun way he enjoys. I hear him giggling at the videos while I’m cooking dinner and I know he’s learning while having fun!

Worth the purchase. This is a great app & keeps my 3 year old’s attention. I downloaded a few leaning apps but this is the only one found worth purchasing past the trial period. I love the fact you can add your own wordlist & the app will program your list.

Very captivating. My three year old was slow to articulate many words. Speech therapy was helpful but he seemed bored with the simplistic repetitions. Got this game to work with him at home on pronunciation and alphabet recognition. Was hoping he'd get excited to use the iPad and would try to say more words. He still took his own sweet time talking but he quickly learned all the sounds of the alphabet and the letters, a whole pile of vocabulary words, and loves doing all the different activities. He's four now and still loves this app. Non stop chatterbox with a huge vocabulary. And he uses all the app words in his pretend play and storytelling. Now I'm working with him on phonics and basic word reading. This app is well worth its price in longevity and educational soundness. I recommend it and would buy additional versions/expansions to use with my little one.

This app is amazing for kids all ages.. My son has been using this app for about 10 years. He is now 13. I can’t tell you what this has done for his reading. my daughter now who is three has taken over his old tablet and lost account. She loves it more than he did.

My 3 year old was reading after one session!. This app has instantly turned my 3 year old into a reader!!! He’s instantly able to read and recognize short words. I can’t wait to get him fully reading with this amazing application!!!!!

Awesome app. This has helped my son learn so many different things that I never would have thought to even introduce him like parts of a plane, train, learning about different holidays and of course helping to spell. Great but a little inconsistent. Really love this game! It really does have a lot of great games that teach. However, there are some inconsistencies that I think they should fix. For example in the games where they have to drag characters to their missing spots, sometimes the game says the word so that the kids can repeat. And other times, the word doesn't get said at all, which doesn't help with learning the word and this point is just a matching game

Kids love it, parents love it. My kids have been using this app for a couple of years now and love it. It’s educational and a lot of fun. It has different activities, games, and videos so it’s a treasure trove of interesting things for kids to do while learning. My kids started using the words they’ve learned on this app in every day speech, and the activities and games with each word are designed to increase understanding of the words’ definitions and contexts. Really awesome app all around!

I can’t take credit 😊. My son was struggling with letter sounds 5 year old, Kindergarten). We couldn’t find an effective way of helping him that would keep him engaged and entertained. We’re talking scoring red in standardized testing and us parents being told he needed serious intervention. Until (dunndunnnndunnnnnn) enter Wonster Words. His teacher was like “I don’t know what you’re doing but he finally is getting it” and that’s all I did was change what he was absorbing. Instead of pointless games in the iPad, this app is fun, engaging, hilarious (seriously, the content is so relevant and on point). My husband and I have already told so many friends about this golden gem of an app. Mainly because we see our other littles starting to get it too. Earlier than our oldest.

So many words. Kids will love words if they play this. Olivia, Pati, Frank, Ari, Wart, they’re’s no room for anyone else! Meet the wonsters as they go along with animated definitions, and have their life to be WORDTASTIC! And play on the pink side and go play and subscribe with cool, splendiferous, awesome, terrific, typical, baby, first, big, small, real hoot, super duper, cute words.

Great support for my 4 year old!. My 4 year old has little interest in learning his letters and sounds. So far, this has been a great way to sneak in some extra practice! I was looking for something for phonics and not just letter names. This fits the bill perfectly!

Brilliant and keeps kids intrigued. We started with PUZZINGO (which I also highly recommend), ended up downloading Wonster Words and eventually purchased the full app. My son is 2.5yrs old. He repeats the sounds and letters he hears and is able to finish every word. He also enjoys the short videos after completing words. I’m not sure he even realizes he is learning!

Great app. My 5 year wasn’t getting the proper education. I went on Facebook and was going to ask for help but then I came upon this app and my son loves it. Since using this app my son has improved. He still needs help with math but he is slowly getting better.

Something for all ages. I have a profile for my 3 year old and my 5 year old. They are both learning so much. Would definitely recommend to parents looking for something educational, but fun.

Amazing. I have a second grader and a third grader some how 2nd grader is more advanced than my 3rd grader. He absolutely loves this. He’s been struggling with his spelling and other words on how to spell and pronounce and this has been a huge help! That new feature of spelling really helped him out they have sentences to describe the word and everything. Mini games are amazing. If I could give it another star I would! Thank you! Super cheap compared to other educational app! If you up your price I would not mind spending another dollar! Amazing!

Makes Learning Fun. Amazing app I have been looking for an educational game for my two year old (almost 3) and haven’t been able to find much of a choice. I am a preschool teacher and have also taught infants and toddlers so I know that learning in a fun way is the best way. This app is perfect. I got the free version first and saw my two year old play it with ease. She asks for it every day and I don’t mind letting her use it as she is learning very important skills for reading. So it was a must to buy the full version. She is learning letter sounds, letter recognition and how sounds work together and she doesn’t even know she’s learning. That’s the best part. This has been the best app I have ever purchased. I recommend this app (the full version and free version) 100%.

Incredible app. My son is five and absolutely loves this app. He loves doing school work and having fun at the same time. It’s helping him pronounce words pronounce sounds and pronounce rhyming words as well. He’s reading books and having an incredible time so it’s a win-win for this mom!!

One of my daughter’s favorites. This app is one of my 3 y/o daughter’s favorites. We first introduced it to her when she was only 2 and it quickly became her favorite app of the early letter & reading apps we have. A few months later the app was updated with shape matching and little extras such as a band playing music, feeding and dressing a cat, or playing a xylophone. She has loved those additions even more! I appreciate how frequently the app is updated with new features and words. Thanks for a quality product.

Very entertaining. My 3 year old will actively choose to play this rather than watch tv now! She loves making the words to then get to see the little cartoons. Been working on building words and this has made an a huge difference in little time.

Brilliant. My 4 year old loves this app! We have tried quite a few learn to read apps and programs and he hasn’t been engaged or excited to do them it was always a chore to get him to do it. Wonster words however he asks to play and he loves it he’s learning without realizing he’s learning. He also had a mild speech delay within a few months of using this app his vocabulary has exploded he went on his kindergarten tour yesterday and so many teachers commented on his vast vocabulary such a difference in just a few moths.

Unbelievably helpful!. My son has Autism and has been playing this game since it was standard purchase not subscription based. He LOVES IT! Not only are the characters really cute and fun, but it keeps him engaged and entertained. He loves to learn. His vocabulary has increased since using it and he’s doing better with sounds. He goes to ST and OT weekly, this is a added bonus for him ♥️ Thank you so much to the app creator/developer. You are amazing!

Love the new feature. Saw an ad saying you can now add your own list of words for them to work on. FINALLY! This is such a great feature and is really helping my 1st grade struggling reader learn her weekly words. And she’s having fun and enjoying it!

Can’t bypass subscription to try app. Ok so I understand you’ve decided to move to a subscription based model. But forcing users to sign up for the free trial subscription before they can use the app is a very dirty tactic. Essentially you’re banking on the fact that many users will forget to cancel their subscriptions. Or you are hoping that kids will get hooked on the whole app and then get disappointed when the free trial is over begging their parents to pay up to feed their addictions. This is very low. You can argue that you need subscribers to pay for your continued development of the app. But there is no excuse for forcing users into a free trial subscription other than counting on their forgetfulness or succumbing to their child’s wants. Don’t bother feeding me the line of crap about it being very clear in the description. Just because you say you are screwing the users in the description doesn’t make it right.

Disappointing. My kids used to love this app, but my phone died so I had to add it again and suddenly it's got a huge monthly subscription fee! I don't mind paying for an app if it's good but sorry guys, it's just not that good. My kids definitely wouldn't get $8 per month value out of it.

Lacking information. I downloaded this app for grand daughters. It DOES NOT say anywhere that it’s going to cost $7:99 per month after the trial period! This is disgusting. I don’t mind buying an app but paying per month is ridiculous! They might only use it once a month! Very disappointing. Thumbs down👎 It is now deleted!

Can’t cancel subscription. I haven’t had this app on my phone for years and it’s started trying to take money from my account again. I have not been able to figure out how to cancel the auto subscription. When you sign up it says you go to settings and hit cancel subscription. Guess what? There’s no cancel subscription button!!!! Then in help, it says you have to go through the place you purchased it, this is ridiculous and a con!!! How do I get rid of the blasted thing????!!!!!

Miss. My 4yo loves this game. He was beginning to read but after playing this game his spelling and reading abilities have improved very quickly. It's also great that he has an increased list of words he uses regularly now. He also loves the cartoons after he finishes his word. He always has a little laugh at some that are a bit silly.

Review for monster words. We are really enjoying this for our children, we only wish there would be new words more often. It is definitely helping them.

Stories use too many idioms. The story section is not suitable for my esl learners. The English is too advanced. I strongly believe beginner books should be void of unnecessary figures of speech so that the child can focus on basic sentences that they can fully understand.

Canceled subscription. Still charged. No support.. I signed up for free trial. Before the trial ended I canceled the subscription. The cancelation takes several steps (see definition of “sludge”). My credit card was still charged for the subscription after cancelation. I then tried to access support in the app, but of course that button doesn’t work.

Inappropriate Content. I got this app for my son a while ago. Recently, the app is sending notifications with inappropriate content (naked women). I have no idea what is going on. This is very concerning. Buyer beware.

Very good app until the sound just got muted. This app is great, lots of things to explore until the sound went off. I followed the instructions checking if the sound is muted from the app or my phone. I deleted and reinstalled it, restarted my phone but the sound never came back.

Great!. My 4 year old seems to like these games quite a lot. I wish they would add some addition and subtraction games too!

We love Monster Words!. We started using this app when our son was 2. He enjoyed the animations and some of the simple games. Then an amazing thing happened. He started recognizing letters and the sounds they make. He has learned so much while having fun!

Great learning material. My son is going to kindergarten this school year. This app is really helping him learn word sounds and sight words. He also loves using the app. I set a timer for 30 mins everyday and he enjoys learning with this app.

Big Help. Wonster Words has been a great addition to our home learning routine. I love that it helps with special sounds and blends that’s a big part of learning to read.

Best learning app for kids. My 4 yr old son has delayed speech. I recently purchased this app and he loves it! Especially the animations. The only thing that would make it better would be more games for numbers, colors, etc.

Growth. I have seen my child blossom with this app. He is even saying some words from the app. He has autism so to find an app that helps with his speech. It's interactive so it keeps his attention while also helping him develop his vocabulary. Absolutely love the app.

Engaging. This app has been a consistent go to for my son. He started using it at 2.5, and he loves all of the activities within each learning thread. He’s gained additional phonemic awareness and doesn’t even know he’s practicing!

Great learning app. My little 3yr old loves this app and so do I. It helps her with spelling and remembering her letters. My LO is learning from this app, so definitely download this! I recommend buying the app because it isn't even expensive and your getting a great package. We love it!

Great app. My son loves the phonics and spelling. It would be nice if the replay button that shows up after the animation were optional - it would force them to spell the word again to see the animation instead of just hitting the replay button. Thanks.

Absolutely fantastic!. We love this app! Especially my little one who is almost 3. He laughs at the characters and actually tries sounding out the letters as he drags them to the right spot. I highly recommend this one ❤️

The best. As an in home SLPA this app has been a life saver, especially with all the issues from Covid. No need for physical flash cards or books. This app has it and it’s perfect. It keeps the user engaged when working across all areas.

Great app. My four year old loves this app. I can already see some improvement in his pronunciation of words and he loves the books available. They are captivating using funny phases that are fun to pronounce. Very well put together

Love this game. My daughter could barley recognize letters when we first played this but after a few days playing she was able to find all the letters needed for the words of each level.

Satisfied. Started off rocky I was so excited to have but we couldn’t hear it. We contacted support ans it was fixed. Great App I will continue my subscription.

Very educational. My son with nonverbal autism seems to love it. Very interactive and educational. Wish you could purchase the game without a monthly subscription though.

Great for kindergarteners. Down loaded it to help my little one practice his kindergarten spelling words. He loves it. Not only does it help with his weekly spelling words but also sight words that he's learning in class.

I love this program!. My son started using the Puzzingo app when he was a toddler and now Wonster Words. These games have really taught him a lot and he loves to play them. I highly recommend.

Better than ABC mouse. ABC mouse is all over the place and has a a lot of bugs. Also doesn’t progress like it should . Love this for at home learning

Love this app!. My toddlers absolutely love this app! They have learned so much so quickly! One of our kids has apraxia of speech and this has helped him a lot because of the prompting to repeat out loud.

Son Loves It!. My 4 year old step son loves this game! He plays it all the time and loves learning the new words and getting the presents. He’s played it since he was 2, and has never gotten tired of it. I wish there were more free words, but he doesn’t mind!

Great App. I love Wonster Words. I bought it for my first son 5 years ago and now my younger children like it too. The engaging sounds and images keep them interested and they love the characters.

Love it!. It’s amazing my daughter is learning so much and more than I’m capable of teaching her. The sounds it makes for each letter and how it spells it out for them is great the games are always awesome and so much fun to play. Love it and so worth the 15$

My Son Loves This App. My 3 year old loves Wonster Words. He enjoys playing the games and listens to the sounds for letters. He finds words around the house and tries to sound them out! I love this game engages him even when he isn’t playing.

Great for vocabulary and Spelling. Worth the cost and I’m cheap and don’t usually buy the full versions. This was one I definitely don’t regret. My sons vocabulary has grown exponentially. Love that he is learning them almost like sight words.

Shouldn't have updated. My daughter has had this app forever and I just never updated. It did have free games she could play and she loved it. I just decided to update last night and now it's saying it's a subscription service for 8 freaking dollars a month. Very disappointed because she loved the game. Guess we will have to find something else and I don't I don't have the extra money to spend on a silly iPad game.

Great. My 20 month old does the books, my 3.5 year old can play most games unassisted and my 5.5 year old can play independently. They love it!

Very helpful. Love it! With the pandemic my daughter has fallen behind and still doesn’t know how to read but this app has helped her a lot.

Must have. Educational and totaling entertaining even for my 12 month old. Lock feature is nice which makes it tough for kids to exit without parent help.

Fun and educational. We got this game when my kiddo was 3 and she is still playing it at age 6. I love the funny things the monsters do and I love that you get the word’s definition after you’ve spelled it. Excellent little game!
