Awesome service!!. I’ve been looking for a cheap/fast ask a vet service for awhile and I finally found one!! It cost $8 to get an answer within 30 minutes. The answer was detailed and easy to understand. You can also do the free option and get an answer within a day. They also offer a more advanced option for $30 with follow up and other things. Still cheaper than others I’ve found online. Love this service and definitely plan on using it again!!!

I realize an app cannot give a complete clinical answer, not knowing the animal in question...but, you have put my mind somewhat at ease and given clear advice. Good app with a functionality issue. Great overall. Having an issue with the tool to invite my vet practice to be on Pet Coach. It’s telling me that I have to set a name for the practice, even though I already filled in the information. Now I’m stuck.

This app is a miracle and a relief. I work at a zoo, so I get many questions about exotic animals. These vets are the most qualified to answer questions you may have about your pet, medical or not. My animals are my family, nothing compares to when someone cares about your pets the same way you do. I'm relieved that there is an app out there that can answer the questions that could mean life or death to these pets.

Great for pet owners of all kinds!. This app gives REAL advice. The Vets who answer your questions don’t just tell you go straight to the vet, do not pass go, do not collect $200. They give meaningful, thoughtful answers that go a long way toward easing your mind. Sometimes, the answer IS go to the vet, but they tell you WHY. And they have all the questions and answers in a database that you can look at to see similar problems to yours. This is the best app of it’s kind that I have found.

best app ever. i love this so much i first used this when i got my “first” cat and i had to take care of her all on my own. i still remember the first question i asked! sure you can google and what not but this app lets you get feedback from a real medical professional, theyre personalized answers for your situation and they even link you with articles and give you further tips to help you. and it’s free!! and you just pay like $5 for a one on one if you need it. this is a life-saver for an overly protective and worrying pet owner!

Prompt Responses. I have used the app to ask a vet a couple questions and have received answers very promptly which I greatly appreciate. The answers are also detailed and thought out and not generic or robotic. The personal touch by the vet doesn’t go unnoticed!

This app is a live saver- LITERALLY!. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’m a first time pet owner so all things pet related are new and scary to me. I found this app last night while I was sitting up with my very sick 3 pound pup Luna and i did not have to anxiously wait til normal business hours to find out how to help my little love bug. By the time the local Vet’s office opened I already knew what I needed to do and could get started on it right away.. Questions are answered in a very timely fashion my most recent question was answered in only 8 minutes! And that was for the free question and not immediate! I’m very impressed! A huge thank you to the vets that help give me peace of mind and a game plan.

Love it.. I don’t know much about dogs but I got my dog almost a year ago. I Always come here ask questions that I am not sure of. They get back with me pretty fast and I am overall satisfied with the feedback 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ This app also help me find out what breed of a dog I have❤️❤️🤞🏾

Growth on neck. The information received was very helpful. We have decided to see a vet to be sure there is not a problem with the growth. It seems to be shrinking but we want to be sure he will be okay.

Thank you. I’m a Chinese, have four cats who are all over 10 years old. Taking cats to see the vet is frustrated here cause I don’t really know which place is good enough and stick to the good quality. Usually we cat persons recommend good vet to each other based on the limited experiences we had and that’s it. No regulation to maintain a good quality for these pet hospitals and many of them overcharge or do harm to your pets without a blink. Two of my cats have some minor issues at the beginning of this year. I took them to a vet nearby to do the annual body examinations and the vet there couldn’t make any diagnose but still charged my quite a lot of money. I tried other place where one of the cats did the tumor removed surgery two years ago but they still couldn’t find what’s wrong. And that’s when I started to search for apps that could help me get some guidance before taking my chance. Anyway, just wanna get this off my chest cause I’ve been really anxious and frustrated with all these issues for several months. The vets on Pet Coach replies my question with good enough guidance that I won’t be very lost when I take my cats to see the vet next time. I’ve mentioned this app on the Chinese social media I use and hope this would help more cat persons in China. Good luck with all the animal lovers.

Very helpful. This app has been very helpful for me. I don’t know a lot about cats but I love cats and they have helped me with all my questions. And now I have a kitten and I have not had a kitten in many years. The vets are available and all hours. You may not always like their answers. But sometimes they are extremely helpful. I highly recommend this app to anyone who has a pet.

A MUST HAVE APP!. The Vets are extremely patient and extremely informative! It's the first time I've dealt with Vets that don't automatically say "Go to your Vet immediately!" They talk you through what they might be thinking, then follow through with advice. And when some of us pet parents aren't wealthy, they take take that into consideration! Best App EVER!!!. This app is amazing and being a first time cat owner who is also a college student I don’t always have time or money to take my baby to the vet whenever there is something small going on. I have used it three times so far and every time I get a very fast and well written answer. The answers are always very helpful. If I could give this app more than 5 stars I would!!

Best app for any anxious pet owners!. I overreact constantly about every little thing that seems funny about my cats, and this app makes it so easy for me to get a professional opinion without having to go to the vet all the time. They always calm my nerves when my vet hospital is closed and i’m worrying myself! I have never gotten a bad or generic answer. I always pick the “24 hr FREE option” and they always respond super quick. The quickest response i have gotten was 1 minute!

Absolutely incredible app!. I have absolutely no issues or complaints with this app. My questions never take more than a few hours to be answered, the ease of use is great, and the responses are always very informative and comforting.

So glad I found this app!. This review isn’t fake, real veterinarians actually give you real advice. I’m so glad it’s free too! My parakeet was getting pregnant, and I didn’t know what materials it needed but in one day someone told me the perfect materials I needed and my parakeet enjoys it VERY much. God Send!. My Kitty has been pulling her fur out! It’s heartbreaking! She is an outdoor rescue cat nursing kittens so I have to wait until the kittens hit 6 weeks before going to a vet. I got desperate for answers and that is when I found PetCoach! Apparently she has allergies ! Now I can begin the process of testing what she is allergic to before visiting the vet in 3 weeks! Thank you PetCoach for helping me help my furbaby!

New Pet Owners. I grew up with pets since is in elementary school, I know a little about animals until I met some of these veterinarians & DVM's. This app is worth downloading and using there's so many question I need answered they have the answers I need.

Can’t find my questions that I paid for. I paid $5 to ask a question but there’s no way for me to get to my question and answers. The only way is by clicking on the notification but once that’s gone, I’m unable to view the answers again. Bad UI.

Great Information. I’ve learned so much from this site that I wouldn’t have ever known. A veterinarian clinic told me that my kitty would have to have an expensive test for Feline Leukemia before she could be vaccinated for it. This site says that if she does or doesn’t have it that the vaccination wouldn’t hurt her either way. Saved me a lot of money!! Also, that they get it from other kitties and she’s strictly an indoor cat and isn’t exposed to other cats. On that recommendation, I’ll not be giving her the vaccination anymore.

So Efficient!. I just downloaded this app because of a small thing I wanted answered by a vet. I of course don’t have time to go to the vet for a minor thing so I turned to this app. The two options, 1. Get your answer within a day for FREE 2. Get your answer right now for $8.00, allow for perfect division of urgent and minor matters. I chose 24 hrs and a vet expert responded with a helpful answer in minutes! There quick response time completely exceeded my expectations. This app gets five stars and I will be sure to use it for all of my pal’s small issues that occur ever now and then!!!

Wonderful App!. I normally don’t write reviews but this app has been so helpful! I love how I can get customized help from a professional right from home and right when something pops up. No more hours of googling in a situation where I’m not sure what’s going on with my pet. This app is wonderful for overly protective pet parents like myself!

So helpful!. I’m a new cat owner. I have lived with many cats and dogs, but never had my own. I just got a kitten who was given to me the day after she was spayed. Being a new cat owner I’ve been paranoid about her incision site. I took a picture and posted it asking if it looked okay. I got a response in about an hour or two. Thank you pet coach and all the vets. It’s given me a lot of piece of mind so far. Will definitely be using it regularly!

Good for the Price. The first Doctors response was a little ridiculous. She gave me only THE WORST OF THE WORST possible outcomes and acted as though my dog was going to die if I didn’t get him to a vet. I studied vet sciences and was a veterinarian technician for a few years. I already KNEW that this was NOT the case but I just needed a little extra guidance on a medication my dog ingested. I made it aware that this vet needed to describe the normal possibilities WITH the bad and also GOOD signs that the dog’s body is handling the situation. I then re-entered my question and added that I’d like good and bad signs. Another vet responded faster (within 15 min) and she gave an absolutely calming answer. She still made me aware of the bad but made sure I knew good signs and gave me very good guidance. I gave her a thumbs up! So I’d recommend this but sometimes they do NOT contact in 30 min (the first vet did NOT) but they don’t make you pay if they don’t answer. I will be using it again as long as my first vet doesn’t respond to me again

Reliable and excellent service. The online vets give you great answers and tell you what the pets need whether it be meds or just something in their diet! Always my go to before I take my pet to the vet for non-emergencies.

Valuable service, app has some technical quirks. I’ve used the paid consultations several times and have found them very useful, even if the answer is simply “you do (or don’t) need to see a vet in person soon because ...”. One really annoying technical issue: on an iPhone, when I am typing in the chat with a vet, I cannot see the text box - it is covered up by the keyboard. So I can’t see what I’m typing and end up with a lot of typos that are a pain to fix because as soon as you click in the text box, the keyboard comes up and you can’t see the text anymore. Another small glitch: sometimes links don’t work. When I tap on them, nothing happens. Other times they work fine. I agree with another review that said it would be great if you could search for vets with specific specialties (e.g. ophthalmology) and write more detailed reviews for vets.

Great vet and very responsive!. Our cat has feline asthma. My wife and I have been considering administering an inhaler. I requested a phone consultation through PetCoach. Not wanting to bother anyone on a Sunday, I did not call right away. Then, I got an email from a vet asking if I was available to talk! I replied, “Okay!” and sent a video of my cat having an attack. The vet listened carefully to my cat’s history and took me through the treatment options. She was better than my local vet! I now have a good plan for how to treat my cat. This is a great service. I’m super impressed with the responsiveness and quality of the vet available for consultation. Thanks!!!

Amazing. I was skeptical. With my work schedule I couldn’t get to a vet with my kittens problem and I am an overly worried cat mom. The doc on this app helped me so much and eased my worry at 1am! I can’t be more grateful. I will definitely be using this app in the future. Best $30 I’ve ever spent for the consultation. Don’t be skeptical like me. These people are awesome.

PetCoach is the best 😀. This is one of the best veterinarian questions app of all time. It’s most certainly the best vet app on the App Store. All the question I have asked have all been right on and no errors. Like always if your very worried about what happen to your pet it’s always good to take your pet to the vet. I always ask PetCoach because it’s like two opinions and it’s better than one opinion. Overall couldn’t ask for more from this app, it’s honestly the best vet app I’ve ever known! Keep up the great work veterinarians! :) 😀

Worst online vet ever. I tried to explain to this vet that my dog had injured his leg and I wasn’t sure if it was broken or a torn ligament because he was fine for a few days and then suddenly had swelling and she tried to tell me that he had cancer/mast cell tumor!!! That’s crazy, I’ve been around animals my whole life and never had such a bad experience with a vet. Clearly uneducated “veterinarians” on this app. Wasted $20. Just go to a regular vet

Great and free fast responses. You can ask one time questions for free and they get back to you within a day. You only have to pay if you want your answer sooner or want a consultation. I used this to ask about my cat and Dr. Elizabeth responded right away (I’m talking a literal minute later). You can also include photos in your question to help aid the accuracy of their answers. All the answers I’ve received are accurate and helpful regarding the questions I’ve asked. Very useful.

Won’t load. I used to really really like this app it was really helpful, but it stopped loading, today is my first time going on ti again for almost a year. I have internet and everything else loads and goes really quick with the internet. I go on to PetCoach and it just sits there on the loading sign. I keep closing out of it then going back in and it still doesn’t load. The last time I was on it I asked a question and no one ever replied, then I go on it to check it out and it didn’t send, I sent it like 3 times and it didn’t work or no reply. It needs to be fixed otherwise I would really really like the app again.

Excellent resource. I really appreciate the knowledge gained from this app. Thr are a couple of UI oversights that are annoying, such as not being able to move backwards in your page history so you must retype your keyword search after reading every article. Nevertheless the content has filled many gaps in my knowledge of animal care and enabled me reduce veterinary expenses by resolving minor issues at home and teaching me how to identify & monitor for signs of trouble in due time to schedule appts and receive adequate veterinary support as necessary. The increased competency in petcare yields a much happier, healthier life for me and my best friends. I would recommend this app to any pet owner.

Used to be a great app, now all they want is money.. I’ve had this app for around 4 years. At first, everything was free & I got my answer within a couple of hours. It was great. A while after, they started charging $5 for a question; which I understand. Now, they charge you $5 for the bare minimum & $20 if you want to add MORE THAN ONE PHOTO!!!! It’s absolutely pathetic how much their prices have gone up. The vets also reply in such vague terms & it’s almost the same exact reply for every question as well. Will no longer be supporting this app, & will not be recommending it to friends & family anymore. Disgusting behavior.

Awesome app. This is a really helpful app. A must have for any pet owners. You can use it for advice on anything from wound treatment to nutrition and anything in between. Being a hedgehog owner it’s hard to find help for any questions I may have because not many people have them, but I always get help for him on here! And I get very quick responses!

Generics answers from “vets” you could Google. I have had the app paid for by my pet insurance. I was happy to use it as a supplement to vet visits. Do not waste you money. Every single detailed question, some with photos, returns a completely generic answer and often “take dog to vet”. Of course I have Googled the concern before posting questions and the answers and practically verbatim what you’d find in an article. Never any answer specific to the details I provide. Example, “What should my papillons healthy weight goal be?” Included age and body measurements. “Answer “the healthy weight for a papillon is 7-11lbs.” That is the breed standard of course I know this. My dog is petite and that is not her healthy weight range for her puppy starting weight nor her widthxheight which was provided. If you are smarter than the app time is better spent going to a real vet and using free Google. The app is fine my suggestion to dev would be to put users questions on the How screen and feed. It’s hard to find what you care about.

Great advice, will definitely use again. Dr. Massimo Orioles, DVM, Cert AVP, MRCVS helped me with my 14 year old cat when I couldn’t get help from my vet (because they couldn’t figure out what to do). I was given advice and I brought the advice to my vet. Now, my cats health is back to normal and I am extremely satisfied with this amazing free advice. The veterinarian gave him a Cortisone shot and some Antibiotics for the infection. Which the vet said was allergies as you predicted. I highly recommend this app for all animal lovers & owners!

Like the idea!. I’ve used this app a lot lately! Most of the time I get helpful or insightful answers. Sometimes someone answers with something super textbook or seems to gloss over the particular details I added in. I usually use the free 24 hour question so I don’t really have complaints there. Just like IRL sometimes you get a vet who you like and sometimes you aren’t quite satisfied. I’ve yet to pay for a consult but certainly would consider it. I do wish there was a way to search vets on the platform and see their question history to seek out one that seems like they might be a good fit for whatever the situation is. My main issue with the app itself is that I hardly can get it to work for some reason. My software and app are up to date, but if I’m browsing others questions and click to read full answer, it sits loading. Same thing when I try to view my own profiles question history or tap on notification that I have a response. This freezing up happens every time I use the app far as I can tell. So I use it to ask Qs and have to go to browser when I get notice there’s been a response. App could use some work but, the concept is super appreciated and I appreciate those vets and techs who take the time to thoughtfully answer!

Wow❣️. I 'liked' them on Facebook and was given a free diagnosis (actually free ideas, because only a vet in person can diagnose). They helped with great ideas, where my in person Vet, didn't do or offer to do even the simplest of solutions and that cost me $90 for nothing other then taking his temperature and says everything seems fine. GRRR. So yes, I would definitely recommend this app and the service it provides. August 1st Update... We took Monty to another vet. Monty was very ill, they told us. We had to euthanize him. TY again.

Great for hypochondriac pet parents. I’m a horrible worry wart when it comes to my fur kids-so it’s great to have an app like this that can help with quick questions and advice! They have free services and premium-I only used the free and I got a fast response to my question. (I needed to find out if I should go to a vet or if it was something I could bring up at the next checkup-I don’t have much funds to use for vet visits unless it’s necessary.) Highly recommend this app!

Vet Answered My Question Within 1 Hour For Free!. I was skeptical at first that this site was even real, since there was no charge and all the others I've seen charge a rather costly fee, but I thought "It couldn't hurt to try it and if they ask for my credit card info I'll just back out." They didn't, so I submitted my question, a concern about my German Shepherd baby's recent neuter. I was then surprised, shocked even, that a veterinarian responded within an hour! She gave me very sound advice along with a suggestion to call my regular vet, which I'm going to do right away in the morning. I downloaded this app for any future problems that might come up. This is a DOGSEND!

Wouldn’t work. Tried to Sign in with Apple & it kept saying something went wrong but wouldn’t say what. I was never able to sign in after a multitude of tries so I deleted it. Don’t bother is my message.

Love the vets. I actually really love the app and the vets. Whenever I have a question, the vets respond within at least 5-10min. If not, within a day and never past that (from my experience). I don't use the app too often but I have been recently and they've been very helpful!!! I recommend this app. I have never used any other pet app for vets besides this one

Fearful Terrier-mix gets muzzled at apartments!. I wrote to get advice about my dog "Jr." He is a Terrier mix, and seems to bark at nothing, except when I have him on lead. The rest of the family find he barks almost non-stop! Others find this aggressive, and I don't blame them. He has nipped at people, while on lead. He also was present when my Corgi was attacked by two pit bulls on Mothers day! That seems to have made things worse. The advice I got, was what I had guessed already, I'd need professional help to get both dogs into a better, calmer place not only on "The walk" as someone on T. V. calls it. I will see what happens if I can afford the special training.

Amazing! Very fast and very helpful. Responses are almost always within 10 minutes of posting a question and are always very helpful. I have experienced a crash once or twice, but the value and comfort of knowing what is going on with my pets is worth any minor bugs in the app itself. Thank you to all of the professionals who give advice on this app, it is much appreciated!

Pet Coach. I really enjoy using the pet coach app it very helpful and easy. The vets respond back quickly.

Pathetic. Waste. Plain and simple. Asked a question. Paid $4.99 and got a generic answer that was not helpful. And yes, they basically took the money and ran. I should have k own better than to trust anything from Pet Co. A pain rip-off

Quick and good answers. Good app. Quick answers, most seem to back up my thoughts of what to do and reassure me with their responses. Then I can figure out if I need to make a run to the vet.

Best app ever!. So I'm a first time pet owner and of course I got my pets when they were young and as such I had tons of questions - especially when my pets got sick. This app gave the most helpful, informative, and personalized response in a matter of minutes (I did the free option). Would highly recommend to anyone with a pet at all! The app itself is easy to use and so far has no technical issues. Love it.

Most frustrating app..... This app is a total LIE. Good luck setting up your pet’s profile it’s impossible to get the “breed” correct. Get through all that by “skip this section” only to have to pay $5 for somebody, who knows, to tell me I should take my cat to a vet. SMH

Great app. This app has a very fast response time. Usually within 24 hours. They also have a bunch of different categories of specialist that range from vets to trainers and even nutritionist. You ask them questions for Free! And you can get a one on one with them for a very low price. Mine was around 8 dollars and got all the info I needed. You don't pay them until you feel satisfied with your answer.

Premium services are a ripoff. I payed for the premium services thinking that talking to a real veterinarian would be valuable in helping figure out what I should do with my pet. The “expert” gave no advice or clarity that I hadn’t already looked up and found online. It basically seemed like she was just googling things and then regurgitating what she found. $30 was a ripoff.

Pet coach review. This app is extremely helpful. The vet responds quickly and effectively. I would highly recommend this app to anyone with a cat or dog.

Was told it was free to talk to a vet. It’s a lie you can’t talk to a vet anytime

Don’t Pay for Advice. My dog had a growth that seemed to appear overnight. It was after hours, so my vet was closed, but I was anxious so I paid for a vet’s advice. The window of time for response was six hours, so I was asleep before I got a response that was generic and riddled with typos. “Might be cancer, might not be”. Save your money and just take your pets to the vet.

Has great potential. The app has great potential. People have questions about their pets and they are answered. I couldn't get pass the fact that if you go into a question far down the page, when you tap the back button it takes you ALL the way to the top of the questions. It makes reading the various questions a pain. Also it is very sensitive to touch. Just a tap to scroll will you put you into a question you didn't want and of course sends you all the way to the top as I have described above. Otherwise, it was ok. Too bad.

Don't even bother. Call you real vet. So I asked three questions in total. Your limited on what you can write by characters. Once your done you get an answer and you can't respond back. If you want to further it. You pay money. Now between the three questions I asked and received answers from. I would seriously discredit all three idiot vets. One telling me check for mites when I wrote. He was tested and here is the diagnosis it was allergies. Then preceded to my question. The other question I asked was about a allergy test. Which the vet wrote a long response of allergy tests are inaccurate and I should just test foods out to see what he's allergic too when I in fact mentioned he has more environmental allergies than he does food. There for common sense I couldn't "TEST" out her theory because we wouldn't know of it was environmental or whatever the heck I'm feeding him to "test" it out. So try the app out see how you feel but I'm deleting it. Not worth my time I'll talk to my personal vet and vet tech friends then take the advice of someone who says their a vet on a free app. Bye.

Quick and Comforting. I had a bit of a scary moment with my pet and decided to look up a way to ask a vet online and stumbled across PetCoach. I sent them a question in the middle of the night and had an answer when I woke up which is amazing. The vet who gave me the answer calmed my nerves a lot as she told me to keep an eye on my pet but that they are probably ok. Great site and I plan on using it again if I need to ask another question

Essential App For All Pet Owners. I'd give this App 100 🌟🌟🌟. For starters, it's free. I've used it many times & it's always been so helpful. My questions were answered promptly. The answers were detailed and informative. There is an option to purchase an immediate answer in case of an emergency. There's also an option to purchase a private consultation with an expert if the question is regarding a more complex issue. It's saved me money by avoiding unnecessary trips to the vet.

Queen With Bloated Belly. Thanks so much! I went to grain free; hoping to rest her poor belly and thought of boiled rice with chicken but hadn’t done it yet. Will definitely use that for a while!

Good concept. This app has a good concept for keeping pet records, clinic reports, and coaching but the functionality is full of bugs. I've been trying to upload pet photos and it fails to upload them. Every once in a while I get a notification that keeps on notifying and blowing up my phone until I log in, but there is no message! Also the log in process is very poorly set up! The security is tighter than my bank! I have to log in to the app every time! That's all!
