Great Option. Thoroughly enjoy this app. Has really been beneficial as opposed to randomly placing my money into one fund and letting it grow without knowledge of current markets. I have seen an excellent return, through both market lows and highs. Definitely worth the money!

Late on advice. I have tried this app for several years. Works will when markets are booming. But with volatility the advice is a a week late and has continued to cost me money. They do. good job of explaining where the market went but poor at giving future predictions. Also it’s a one size fits all approach, wish they would consider telling tsp investors advice based on where you are in your career.

❤️watching money making money. I wish I would have found this app sooner. The secret of rich people is that they make money off of their money. This app helps you do that. Just login and make the changes that they suggest and watch your money grow. This year I have seen my account grow by over $500 in five months. I paid for the whole year by buying gift card. So many people are clueless as to what to do with their TSP and their money so sedentary not making money. Check out their website for yearly return rates on their suggested changes within the TSP funds. You will be amazed.

Annual returns and iPad Version. Would like to be able to see past annual performance/returns maybe quarterly updates. Then be able to compare those returns to S&P over time. I only have iPad so I would like to see iPad version. There is some clunkyness using iPhone version on pad. I like the weekly updates. Update: I'm still liking the weekly updates. I would like to see the performance of the TIPs though. Yearly and quarterly would be nice. How did TIPs perform in 2016 and how is it performing in 2017? I don't always follow and would like to compare my performance to TIPs

Outstanding app!. While using TSP Tips, I've averaged a 12% return on my TSP account the past 2 years - pretty remarkable! I would recommend this app to anyone.

Just get it & 👀 your 💲grow!!!. I made the mistake of not really investing in TSP until 1/2 way through my career. This app (subscription) has more than paid for itself. I love that any questions/feedback given to the developers is responded to within 24/48 hrs - by the developers/owners themselves!!! I really wish I would have found this app earlier.

Must-have. From a skeptic, this app has done nothing but impress me. Great developers, great results--as long as you understand downloading the app won't materialize money for you.

Awesome app. I tend to forget about the TSP, but thanks to tsp tips I have made 17% over the past year. I have been using TSP tips for two years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Right Data at the Right Time. Simple explanations with sound data delivered at the right time.

App issue. For the past few weeks, there has been technical issues and unable to submit or report any issues. Does not save the data I input to mirror my tsp balance. Doesn’t show the graph of increase or decrease data on all the timeframe. I have deleted the app twice assuming it will correct the issue and still has not resolved the problem. Hopefully, this will get the issues taken care of.

I like it. I like this app. I don't know much about investing especially in the TSP so this helps me place my money where it should be.

The Best. If you are trying to get the most out of your TSP investment this is a must. Always above the normal rate of return.

Information. It gives me the information I need to access the best fund at the time. I would love to see annual and monthly trends of best funds!!

I’m Done. Added this app 3 years ago to give a good test of value. After 3 years of actual data, comparing to my wife’s lazy hold-and-buy practices I’ve found that her method provides better returns. App has DOUBLED in price in that period of time. It has NOT changed, improved, or doubled in value. To me this latest price increase of $20 more is simply price gauging. They just want more of your/my money with no plan to provide you more for it.

Buy and hold Wins. I stopped following there advice for two reasons. Their policy of only making changes Monday morning is often too late. Maybe because they do there number crunching on Saturday? Regardless of the market going up or down they always are about a week or two late to the party. I think you are better off with a buy and hold plan or follow the tsptalk website for very good free advice. Most important, maximize your contributions, you can’t afford not to:)

Terrible advice.. Tried the free trial while doing my own thing. They missed the crash, the recovery, and have underperformed other similar services. They are weeks behind in the correct advice and the reasoning behind the moves is not sound. Use another service or try an L fund. Or do what they appear to be doing...blindly throwing darts at a board for advice.

Great App. Investing in TSP can be annoying with only being able to move your funds twice a month and each fund being part of a broader index. This app makes it extremely easy to manage and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make money in their TSP account.

Don’t fall for it. This is basically an attempt to get you signed up for the monthly exorbitant subscription. The monthly subscription $6 might not sound much to you but it really adds up multiplying that by 12. It’s not worth it because their predictions or projections have been below par, it’s laughable. I will not recommend them look else where for a lower fee and better results.

Stop please. Hello. I’ve been trying to reach this company for the pass week or so. Sending out a couple of emails explaining that I do not want to use this app anymore and to also please stop charging me. I went so far to even freeze my account. No one has reached back to me and I’m trying to handle this on the lowest level possible. Can someone please contact me back. Thank you

Discovered bug. When trying to update my account balance and setting allocation, the numbers keep going back to 0 after scrolling down or up. Will update review after a few months of advice results and when the bug if fixed.

Best, greatest!!!. Been followed for almost two years now, average 15% gain!

So far so good. I have mostly played it safe in the G fund my whole career. Now that I have found this AP I've been playing around with my funds. Haven't been on very long but will be very happy if I can make just 10%.

Working great for me!. It eliminates the guess work for me. I get a push notification telling me where to move my money. The nominal fee is irrelevant to me, I am busy and don't have time to keep up with the market.

What's the deal. This app is nice to have just got it so can't really say much as to how well it works. One issue I have is the graph so if I tap say the F fund on the pie chart it will highlight the G fund to right rather than the F fund. This concerns me. Am I allocating my money into the proper fund? Which one is right? The fact that you pay for this app and use it to invest a significant amount of money for your future and it has a issue like that I'm not sure how much I trust it.

All Reviews ARE years old. This product is a scam, buyer beware there is not legitimate advice given. You are better doing 60/40 then having some Chinese app steal your info here.

Buy High / Sell Low. I’ve had this app for a couple years now, and I have consistently lost money by following its advice. The times I forget to check the app? Then I make money. It does the opposite of what it promises and it will gradually charge you more for its failure. Don’t waste your time. Use buy and hold or L Funds.

New TSP website. If the app changes to reflect the new tsp website that would be great and I would give this a higher rating. The new website doesn’t use the terms “cash contribution” and “inter fund transfer” anymore.

Like it. I haven't been with them long enough to make a performance decision. That said, I really like the way that it keeps me involved and checking the markets and my retirement savings weekly. Of course, I don't just listen to one source and my gut is telling me this advice is conservative. Time will tell, but I'll gladly remain a member and I appreciate the effort these fellas put into this app.

Terrible. I’ve been using this app for a year and following their recommendations. My 12 rate of return via the TSP site is .95%. Total joke. They only put out guidance over the weekend which is based on the previous weeks market actions. With the way the market fluctuates up and down from one week to the next their recommendations are the exact opposite of what you should do. If you want to learn how to buy high and sell low only to buy back in even higher this is the app to follow.

What a bunch of baloney!. This app is nothing more than a means to get you to sign up for their monthly fees. Don't be fooled. And when they claimed that they made money in 2008 when the economy tanked, let's see some proof. Was this service even in business then? And then there's the reviews. Several different (4&5 star) reviews mention the "nominal" fees. Odd word to have pop up in several different reviews. Sound suspicious to you? Me too. If you don't know enough about timing the markets to shift your investments around, what makes you think that these guys know any more? Because of their undocumented claims and some ginned up reviews on their app? Put your money in the lifecycle funds and go about your life. That's what they're there for.

Waste of money. The data they provide is literally available all over the Internet for free. Even the TSP website offers education. Educate yourself on your money and future, don’t pay someone else to do the thinking for you.

Active participation. I've put money into the various accounts without much thought on how my money was being managed. I looked at my account last fall, after listening to a radio personality discussing the in and outs of the funds with a guest caller. I decided I needed to pay more attention and found this app. I spend more money at my kids football games than I paid for this, so why not. Ive gone from 7% safe growth to just over 13% since October. I know the market is booming now, so time will tell. The app provides a means of tracking, that's all. They send you the emails for any recommendations. I wish it would have a notification for a new recommendation. It works... Aug ‘18 update: I was happy with the app until a recent update. I have an iPhone SE (smaller screen), when updating my balance, the sections to enter my percentages in show “What percentage in ...”. This is completely useless as it asks for a number only. Someone didn’t test this on a smaller device, it’s a mandatory field, so I end up entering 100 in the first row to continue. As for the services they provide, I ran 23% up until Twitter January, now I’m seeing a 8.3% this year. I’m overall happy with my investments.

Good when works. The app dosnt work on 15. 6 …. You can’t log into the app using Google sign in .

Love Money!. Takes guess work out of investing and takes the stress for you.

Lost Money! Terrible allocation advice!. Terrible allocation advice! Lost 11% this year! You’re better off leaving it in the G fund! I’m active duty military and my hard earned money (more than $1k) went down the drain! Look elsewhere!

Gaining Confidence. While I am still learning to invest in the market this app has allowed me to spread my wings but at this point I am not ready to invest full at ur recommendations. Would appreciate strategies for the learning investor!

Pays for itself. In my 6 months of following their recommendations, my PIP has increased from essentially negligible to about 13%. Paying for these recommendations easily pays for itself. My only criticism is with the app itself. The graphs have sudden drop-offs for some times when I didn't update my balance. Sometimes. Other gaps in my balance updating are smoothed. It'd be nice if the graphs smoothed out the missing data instead of dropping it to zero.

Very buggy. The app is fraught with bugs and most functions don’t work at all. Even the feedback function doesn’t work. I can’t recommend spending the money annually for the subscription with the current level of disfunction.

They sneak up on you.. You must keep an eye on your billing cycle because they sneak up on you to re-bill you. Reputable apps advise customers of upcoming charges but not these guys. Yes, I’m sure it’s in the micro-fine print so they zsm ‘gotcha!’ But still, be a good player and remind people of upcoming charges. Also, the TSP tips are lethargic at best. I moved my TSP investments to the stable G find way back in February before the pandemic took hold, meanwhile these guys were asleep at the wheel and had I not been vigilant, I would have lost 40% of my retirement TSP investment.

Better Off in a Lifecycle Fund on the TSP site. After completing my three month trial and one year subscription, I will not be coming back. My coworkers are getting double digit returns for the last year and TSP tips was about 4%. Not worth the money or hassle if you miss the trading date. You’re better off using one of the free TSP Lifecycle funds that matches your risk level. It’s free and they’ll do all the work.

Great App. I wish I had found it sooner.

Excellent!. I was guessing and foundering before taking the advise of TSP Tips. My account has grown tremendously with the distribution percentages I'm happy to see my TSP grow. This application works great, the advise has been producing results, and the one time I had need to contact the developers they promptly responded. If you're not doing anything with your TSP, then what do you have to lose except to try their advise?? I recommend TSP Tips to all my coworkers.

Not working. I have downloaded this app repeatedly, but it will not open. Just has 3 dots that move back and forth and never opens.

Simple, Easy, Safe. When I started this app they had almost the same figures I had, plus or minus 10% investment [which apparently is a lot] but I'm no stock analyst. It's simple and easy and safe, you still manage the account, they just advise. I'm happy. Update: Looking back four years later, I'm still happy. Granted the market worm has turned but I went from 2-5% on my PIP doing it myself to 12-17% under their advice. Gangbusters! It's worth every cent to have this app. It's no guarantee as nothing in stocks ever is, but they know what they are doing, far better than me.

It's the way to make great returns. Solid forecasts with excellent forecast models. I have tried others and lost money when they showed profits. This is the real deal! Thanks for the service and advice.

Be smart...buy and hold.. It's better than leaving your money in G, but that said I found I get way better results being a Buy and Hold investor. You can't constantly time the market....you’ll hit the same as you miss. Stick with your stocks and you'll make money (buy and hold). I’ve tracked my B&H approach for 2 years against these recommendations and average 18% more than this app. Do your research and buy and hold on index funds.

Simply wonderful!. I have been looking for a more aggressive investment opinion then the tsp lifecycle funds, and this is it. If you like aggressive growth advice this is your app.

Great idea, terrible customer service. I like the idea of the illusion of being able to actively manage your account. That being said, it would be better if I was able to actually see the tips. The account is supposed to be tied to my email address but after renewing for the year, it won’t send me the updated weekly tips and keeps saying that I am Not subscribed. I’ve sent numerous emails requesting assistance. If I ever get resolution I’ll amend my review, but as of now I am disappointed and will be filing a complaint with my credit card to get a refund. Don’t waste your money on poor customer service.

I like it so far.... It's hard to tell, I had everything split between S and I, pretty crazy I know but I figured it would average out. I think this will be better than lifecycle...time will tell, I think after a year I can give better insight! Fingers crossed!

Great App!. I was lost before when I came to moving my tsp funds. Based on their track records. I'm trusting tap funds to move my money/stocks around and it's working! Everyone should give it a try!

Don't waste your money. Wish I could give zero stars. There may be "science" behind their app, however their advice is little better than reading the WSJ AFTER you have already invested in the wrong stocks that this app recommended. Monday morning quarter backing is what this app does. It is always behind. And if you follow their advice you money is too. Take the money you you would spend on this app and buy some good coffee. It's a better investment.

Have TSP? Get this app!. If you have a TSP account and you're tired of watching the L funds continually lose your money you have to try this app. You can do three months of tips for short money but I guarantee after a month you will be all in on TSP tips. You can do the research yourself the financial team behind this app is top notch and even in 2008 when everybody lost fortunes they managed to gain marginal profits!

Facebook log in. The Facebook log in doesn't work. Once you click it it resets the app. Please fix it

GREAT APP!!!. I've been following these tips for a while and have been getting really good results. The app is very easy to use and when I had a question, the company got back to me very quickly. It's definitely been more than I expected.

Awesome!. No where else are you gonna get tips like this. The emails they send notify you of the allocation changes and a brief explanation on why it has changed events leading up to it. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Great app. This was just what I was looking for. I used to try to educate myself with what is going on in the market by reading tap talk etc.. I think this will be much better for me to follow professional advice. The app makes it easy.

Great app!. This app has been fantastic. You get great advice and it makes managing your TSP hassle free. At the end of the day if you read their advice for managing your funds and still don't move them it's great to learn about what trends to look for.

Not for young folks, but good app. Used this app for last quarter of 2014 and didn't see any gain. Lost bit more compared to my previous allocations. For people in 30s and 40s, would recommend to stay with the C & S funds as they historically have much higher returns than G or F. But if you plan to retire in near future, then it's worth to subscribe and stay active so to avoid large loss like 2008 :( tips cost of $36/yr is nominal if it can save you thousands in the long run!

Finally Info. I've listen to coworkers, who say they know, I tried to match with my wife's advisor, but since I can't pick the funds by name no go I found this advise, it is worth following. I've read through their sites- pretty complex, I give it a go.

Awesome App. Using TSP Tips has been awesome so far. With all the chaos going on in the world TSP Tips have been able to minimize the loss and still remain overall on constant upward slope. The app is easy to use and understand. Any questions you have: they will answer! Best purchase I've made this year. No one can predict the market: many people get worried as they see the sudden decline in share price. You have to remember to stick it out. It will always recover: it's a proven fact. If you're that worried then keep your money in the G fund! It will stay on a slow steady upward slope. However Risk equals reward.

I don't write reviews but this app is awesome!. I've written only one other review for an app many years ago but I felt I should shout from the mountaintop that, if you contribute to TSP, you MUST have the app. The subscription is so worth it. For years I just wanted someone to tell me where I should be moving my money because I am by no means a financial guru. This not only does that but gives you notifications and weekly updates as to how the markets are effecting your money! Get it now!

Buggy App. Been waiting three days for the prices to update. It "estimates" your account value, which seem rather random if compared to the actual amounts. It claims that they will email when allotments change but it changed over the weekend and if I had not gone to the website to check on why there were no updates, I would have missed the newest allotment change. It has a "if you are having trouble email us" feature and so far out of four emails that I have sent I have gotten zero response. Jury is still out on whether or not it improves my returns. I signed on for three months, I'll wait and see.

Awesome advice on app. This app has helped me replenish the lost in my TSP I've had from divorce not exactly to where I was but its climbing just trust in suggestions the market is always going to rise and fall but when you keep track of how much you've earned to loss you won't be disappointed

Works well. Need more time.. I started using the app towards the end of a small market decline. They do seem to anticipate their funds well. Time, and a major drop, will tell about the worthiness of this app.

Great app!. I've only been using this app for a month and am liking the results. TSP tips has a 9% average rate of return since 2003. Which is far better than what my rates of return were. I would recommend this app to anyone.

The advice has been sound and practical for most market situations. I look forward to utilizing this new app to accomplish the TSP strategies suggested and move smartly into the market.

Great Retirement Tips. My TSP has experienced steady increase since I started using this bi-monthly tips. Where the money seemed some what stagnant in the L Fund, I'm seeing a lot more growth by using this advice.

Marke meatheads. I've been contributing to the g fund for 4 years before I decided to starting using the other funds. This service is good because the allocation updates are also sent to your email and the y provide market summaries to rationalize their advice. The customer service is good too when I needed help. I have a droid but was able to get an account when I put the app on my iPod. That being said I'm still in the red since I started following their allotments in July of last year. The market hasn't performed well since then and the gap is closing each month. If my personal investment performance doesn't get positive by years end I gotta dump them. But it's a good app

Awesome App. Why didn't I find this app long ago!? This app has already proven itself to be valuable since day one. In the three weeks I downloaded this app, my TSP balance has grown really well. Of course I understand that there will be downs, but for now, it's all been ups and is really impressing me. Be even turned on some of my coworkers to the app!! Awesome and simple to use and understand.

The hardest part is letting go. At first I was clueless what to do with my TSP then I looked at their record, said what the heck, and sure enough for the past 9-10 months I've been gaining an average of 14-16%. Thank you, BM2, USCG.

Love this app. I have been winging it for way too long. Finally some expert advice on how to structure my funds and my allocations. Couldn't be happier. When I've asked questions the answers have come promptly and have been explained to my level of understanding. Great app!

Great for uniformed service members. Easily keeps track of stocks for you so you don't have to login to the site and makes excellent recommendations. Only positive gains from month to month since I've started using.

Must have for anyone in TSP. I started using TSP Tips before the recent volatility and was making a lot of progress, but when all the turmoil hit, I have still pretty much stayed even. The app is easy to use, loads quickly and the notifications are timely but few. The only improvement I would make would be a link in the app directly to the TSP home page, but I think I can stand the star step, given the apps performance.

TSP Tips. Been using this app a little over a six months now. I have been doing what it says and it seems to be doing me justice. I would recommend it to my friends. Takes the work out of doing the research yourself.

Can't use unless you pay. I downloaded the app because of the rave reviews. But after downloading and registering for an account I found out you can't get any tips or numbers unless u pay around $4 for one month or around $35 or so for a full year with a few increments in between. Totally not worth your time unless you decide to pay for the subscription. Not even a trial period to test it out. You have to pay from day one to get any use from this app.

Bad Advice. My TSP LOST 10% the past year using this app’s advice, when everyone else had GAINS. This is my worst loss in 25 years of contributing to this fund. My money is back in the L2030 fund.

TSP APP. I have been receiving this information for a while now and know it is a benefit. The personnel have been very helpful in getting me started on this new app. I did have to update my software on my phone but it was something I needed to do any way!! I highly recommend this app and will tell my fellow coworkers who are enrolled in TSP about it as we'll.

Overall Success. To this point, I view TSP Tips as a positive purchase that has been well worth the money. I stopped using the app for a few months and I ended up losing more money than I would have spent on the subscription. Granted, this occurred at the time of the recent market struggles. For what it's worth, had I stayed with TSP Tips I would have mitigated a lot of risk.

I love this app.. I have only been using the recommendations for a few month and couldn't be happier. It has given me a greater confidence in my tsp portfolio moving on into the future.

Great app!. I've had this app for a couple of months. So far, it has been great! Customer service is very helpful and has a quick response time.

Good App. Good App, fairly frequent news updates from authors that explain why they recommend certain allocations. My rate of return so far has hovered around 9%. We will have to wait and see how it does in the long game. Took one star off due to somewhat clunky design of interface and wish the updates were a tad more regular. Recommended!

Marginally useful at best. I'm writing this review after the major stock market losses as a result of the U.K. Brexit vote. I signed up for the monthly membership expecting to receive some guidance on properly allocating my tsp. What I received was almost little to no guidance. There was no guidance updates whatsoever regarding allocation; especially before, during, and after this particularly volatile time. No news either. Definitely will not renew the paid subscription service when it expires.

Great app to understand how markets affect TSP!. This is a great app and the service fee for the information provided is well worth it. If not familiar with how TSP works and you have a question the team is responsive and breaks down why they make the decisions they do. Keep up the good work and continuously improve to stay current.

Not Happy. Disappointed, and have lost more money than taking the passive approach. In order to give it a chance, I followed the tips exactly for months. Too many times it had me sell low and buy high. The TSP's delay in trading and limited number of trades per month really make it difficult to time the market as the app tries to do. Which is what no one should try to do anyway! So far I've experienced the opposite of Buffet's sound advice of be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful.

TSP. The TSP Tips updates gives me confidence in my allocations although mine are not the same. I won't need any of my funds for at least 10 years, so I'm 70% in the S fund and 30% in the 2030. In 5 years I'll become more conservative.

Love this app!!!. This app is amazing for anyone just learning how to navigate their TSP. The owners actually email and WILL personally respond to all questions sent to them in lamens terms which is extremely helpful. This app and the people involved are amazing and it is worth every cent.

Great recommendations for your TSP plan. For the price you can't beat the news and allocation suggestions that are given by TSP tips. I've been using them for over a year and they just keep getting better.

I hope it gets better. So far, seems I've lost funds since following the advice. I understand that the markets have been going through a lot of variables so I hope your advice improves in its return on investments.
