Shell of an App. The good reviews must be fake. You quite literally cannot do anything on the app without a pop up appearing prompting you to upgrade to Termux Pro at a cost. There is not a single usable utility available. I’d be embarrassed to develop rubbish like this.

I am not paying to use a minimal terminal!. I installed it thinking it was free then theme options appeared for pro version, i then thought ok that is fine until I realized the terminal requires the pro version. What’s the point of having a paid Linux terminal??

Why is it free on Android but paid on iOS?. This is unacceptable Why is Termux completely free on Android, but iOS users are forced to pay a subscription just to use it? There is no valid justification for this unfair difference. If the app is open-source and free on one platform, it should be the same on all platforms. This feels like pure exploitation just because iOS users are used to paying! Instead of imposing unreasonable fees, the developers should have found other ways to support the app without taking advantage of users. A very disappointing experience

Not a true terminal app. At all.. This is not a true terminal app, more of a host/connection manager. It is also NOT the same Termux I enjoy on Android (which is actually a functional terminal app). It also does not work with my BT keyboard where every other app I've used it with has zero issue. What garbage. Very disappointing.

It’s not free. I wanted a Linux terminal that I could buy in my age range but apparently I’m “too young and don’t don’t know how to operate Linux” so I found this to kill time on my vacation, but it’s like 30$ to be able to make a server or do anything. I guess I’ll wait out the vacation so I could play on my raspberry pi or luckfox mini a rather than spend double the price. Even Linux is free but this is the ‘app store’ or ‘launcher’ to one app which is either a subscription or 20+$. Or you can skip everything and get something else (it’s for your money and sanity) for some reason, all of the 5 star ratings are like the same formality as the developer but shorter or longer

It’s 5 star no matter what but. It could use some more instruction imo. Then again, it might have them somewhere I’m just too dense to acknowledge it. I was personally looking for a direct clone of android termux, which this is not - BUT - it is certainly better than basically everything available on iOS. To all those who may actually read this, I’m very new, I would say I don’t really know exactly what I’m doing and needed this for a pretty narrow use case and it did everything I needed up to this point. So 5 stars

Fake, favorable review likely paid. The android version is full featured Linux like environment. Open sourced and totally free! With some tweaking, it’s even possible to emulate fedora. Misleading is an understatement!

Fake Termux that violates the AppStore guidelines. This app is a fake copy of the popular android app termux. It does not have any proper features, with the few features it does have behind a paywall.

App is fake. This is a pirated software, and the genuine software only supports Android. Please don't be deceived. When you click on the page, almost all options are guiding you to pay for subscription. And no matter what you choose, you will be guided to 3 days of trial and subscribe to a one-year paid membership. The one-time buyout option is like a rogue advertisement on a small website on the web.

Deceptive payment options. The app lists a one time payment for around $30 but clicking through only gives you the monthly options. Immediate and absolute loss of trust and I will be researching and possibly not using Termux on my android (if it’s even the same developer, which I suspect is not the case)

Works but betrays the FOSS community. Termux has always been FOSS. On every other platform the Linux emulator is 100% free and community supported. This one? Ad supported with a yearly subscription or $30 one time payment? What is wrong with you people? Practices like this are what drive people to Android. Do better. Termux is an open source app and should remain so for iOS. This may as well be considered theft.
