SplashLearn: Kids Learning App Comments & Reviews 2026
I hate this game.. I don’t like this game at all. It literally tells you to do it in one minute, which is the drawing one even though you’re supposed to take your time I don’t know why it does that and when I do it on my tablet, there was a crazy glitch on there, and I do not like the crazy glitch. This is not educational enough. No one should get this game kids if you want this game don’t get it even though the teachers do it at school the teachers know how to login this one you have to pay money you get a three day free file and you don’t wanna pay money do you! now no one get this app at all. Don’t listen to people who say this game is the best. It haves to pay even though this game says it’s free. It’s not free. That’s why you shouldn’t get this game. there’s a 60 million kids in love with this game well no. they’re not correct this game. You have to literally pay. It says you don’t have to pay.
Favorite App. For me, the comparable app was ABC Mouse. Splash learning his hands down better for us. My son just turned 4 we have used this for about three months. They send constant updates which I absolutely love. It’s like a true progress report. It keeps him engaged whether he’s doing a learning plan or he chooses to do some of the games. They’re very fun and come with a lot of animated characters that make him feel very good about Self when he gets his three stars. I have not had any issues with this app freezing up on me and I had a lot of issues with the other app doing that. The way they integrate fun with learning is outstanding! You will never regret this purchase.
Engaging and Educational. My children love playing with SplashLearn. Whether they’re working on language skills or math content, they are full of giggles and excitement. There are also some wind down activities, including coloring, sorting, and building that play more like games while practicing important skills. The parent feedback emails that itemize where time is spent and child’s accuracy engaging with content are excellent for letting parents know where their child can use more help. I wish it was harder for my toddler to toggle from educational content to games, but that’s one minor drawback for an app with a lot of content at an affordable yearly subscription rate. Even when our subscription lapsed, the kids could still participate in two activities per day without a subscription until we got it signed back up again.
SplashLearn has been a Splash and Blast!. My son absolutely loves the live classes offered through the app, finding them to be incredibly engaging and enjoyable. Despite being just four years old, he navigates most of the app's features effortlessly and independently, demonstrating impressive digital skills for his age. The interactive nature of the classes captivates his attention, and he approaches each session with enthusiasm and excitement. He often views the educational activities not just as lessons but as playful adventures, seamlessly blending fun with learning. It's heartwarming to see how he thrives in this environment, eagerly anticipating each new session and discovering new concepts along the way through Splash Learn.
App great while using, but many technical issues with zero resolution. This app seemed wonderful at first, giving my child the ability to do various types of curriculum. I felt good about her using screens when she was using this app. However, there are a lot of technical failures that go along with it. First of all, my child needs me to login every time she uses it. There’s no option for her to just open it and start using it. That’s a little frustrating. Secondly, we would log in and get a message “we are not ready for you yet. Please try again later“. I have continuously had issues with the ability to log in. Troubleshooting started with contacting the support team, being instructed to reset password, delete app, reinstall app, then it would work temporarily. The same problem persisted repeatedly, and Help stopped being given. When I asked for a refund, they referred me to the Apple policy from App Store. No apology that this problem kept persisting, no other ideas on how or why the problem was happening. Although the app is great while working, I don’t recommend it because of these issues.
Splashing into fun. For my daughter, the idea of another learning app wasn’t thrilling. After a while, she was used to the way that the other apps be behaved. She had learned the formula for kind of disengaging and clicking the buttons. However, would be variety of options available. She doesn’t have to do the same kind of content every time. Even when she is focused on math, she can jump around and do adding, shapes, or parts and whole. The same thing with reading and phonics. She is getting a lesson in a way that just kind of feels as opposed to something masquerading as fun. Also, the inclusion of other material that allows her to draw, do puzzles and learned fun facts that she can share at the table has the bin a real joy. she will stay engaged longer when she can break up more academic material with being able to color a painting or play with a map. I am
Amazing. This app is absolutely amazing! It has been such a beneficial tool for my child’s learning, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The math and reading activities are engaging, interactive, and perfectly designed to keep kids motivated while truly building their skills. I love how the lessons adapt to my child’s level—challenging enough to encourage growth, but never overwhelming. The reading section has boosted confidence with vocabulary and comprehension, while the math practice has made problem-solving fun and exciting. The design is colorful, kid-friendly, and easy to navigate, which means my child enjoys using it every single day. Best of all, I can see real progress and improvement.
Makes learning fun!. My children’s teachers use Splashlearn as a math enrichment tool to support what goes on in the classroom. Each week they assign lessons to the kids that are supposed to help them build their skills on whatever they’re learning and it helps them target trouble areas. I have seen my daughter’s confidence grow over the last two years we have used the program and my son has gone far beyond what his classmates are working on at school. Splashlearn allows his teacher to give him advanced lessons to keep him from being bored in class. During school breaks they both enjoy playing with other parts of Splashlearn as well like the coloring and word games. I credit the app with helping my son learn to read English already since they go to a non-English speaking school and will not be formally taught the language for another 2 years yet!
Great learning app. My son has been using this app all summer to stay sharp for school. He’s now much further ahead than what he was taught leaving 2nd grade. He will be going into 3rd with a very strong understanding of multiplication. I mainly have him do the math games. We use this app as a tool for him to earn screen time in our house. It is a fun way for him to learn and it really works. He also enjoys the live classes, we get reminders of when they will be starting and it’s nice for him to interact with a real teacher. The only reason I gave this app 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the reporting issues I have had. At the beginning of the summer I would get emails telling me what my son had worked on, how many questions he answered and what he needs to focus on. Those emails have stopped and the reporting area does not reflect the work he does. I have emailed the providers and told them about the issue so hopefully it is fixed and I can revise this review. Other than that I would gladly give this app 5 stars!
Indescribable. This app is the best!!!!!! All the other school apps I’ve had are just tests but this app is so coooool!!!!! I highly recommend this app. The jungle and aquarium games are so much fun even for grade 5. You child will learn so much like me! In the beginning of the app when you first get it it will ask if your child is a boy or girl, then it’ll ask what grade your child is in and then play away! The app even sends reports to tell you if your child got better or just not doing it enough. Ggfykejgyfkuefyfgfy those are excited thoughts! And that’s what I think when I’m playing this app! You learn so much and you have so much fun. Fun learning! That my favorite kind of learning! Enjoy the app!
Screen time fun. My son was first introduced to SplashLearn by his first grade teacher. His teacher would add assignments for students to do both in math and reading. These typical assignments which normally would come home on paper and deemed boring turned into something fun to do. SplashLearn lessons are very engaging, informative, and just fun to do. The platform is easy to use for both kids and parents. Even though this school year my son’s second teacher isn’t using SplashLearn, I decided to get the subscription to help my child continue to learn in a creative way. Also, I love being able to print out relevant subject matter worksheets to review/test knowledge based on lessons taught. You can’t go wrong with using SplashLearn in general. The live classes are a great bonus!
Won’t allow parent access. Edit 2.12: Customer service hasn’t been great. I sent in my problem and finally got an email saying my ticket was closed. I found a email that had been sent that was an automatic email not even about my issue. When I confronted them they sent an email telling me I was wrong and had the wrong app and all I needed to do was download the correct one and login. I’ve had this app since September we don’t all of sudden have the wrong app but I did humor them and download it to login and get the same error message. My kids are older we don’t use the jr. app. It makes me sad we’ve been paying this long for no access from the parents side and now no use from the child’s side as they lost access to that this week. And all customer service says is I must be wrong instead of being curious and actually solving the issue. The best I can do is cancel and I’ll lose my money bc the subscription isn’t up until September. Live and learn but hopefully this helps someone else. My kids can play it on their iPads but I can’t find a way to access the parent side so I can change things and the I download the app to my phone it tells me I don’t have access to this certain so which is the same one my kids are on. I then do forget password and change my password and it still says it.
Educational and engaging. My kids use this at school. Over their summer break I decided to look into SplashLearn and pay for the subscription so that my kids could continue learning and being engaged in educational activities. This is suited for them based on their grade level and it breaks it down into math, language, etc.. The app is fairly easy to use; my four year-old and six-year-old both are able to navigate the app and get to what they want to do on the app. I sit down with them and watch them do their learning, they play games, they get coins, and the coins they can use to use for like an avatar or other items. I do feel that this app is a great resource for children and I am definitely going to continue to purchase a subscription yearly, so that my children can utilize it when they’re on breaks from school or when we’re going on road trips or when at home, they want to do more learning.
There are other much better alternatives. In preparation for our son entering Kindergarten, I tried this based on the high review score. Our son quickly finished up many levels for the trial and seemed to like it. So I just let trial covert to paid subscription. However, within few weeks he has completed all the levels and got to the word problems. Since he could not read the questions, he quickly lost interest. Also the UI is not made well for 3-5 years old kids with a limited hands-eye coordination skill with small icons. The questions also tends to get rather repetitive. After our son entered kindergarten, we were provided with Mathseeds, which has much better UI, more engaging and diverse question sets that are dynamic. It was provided free as a part of the curriculum but I would been happy to pay. I contacted support to request refund for the portion not used but was told In-App purchase cannot be refunded. So I reluctantly kept it for a year.
Fantastic Learning App for Kids!. SplashLearn has been a game-changer for my kiddo! The app's interactive games and colorful animations keep him engaged and excited about learning every day. I love how it adapts to his learning pace, making it perfect for building confidence while introducing new concepts. The progress tracking feature also helps me stay updated on his growth and celebrate his achievements. Overall, SplashLearn has become a favorite in our household. It provides an excellent balance between education and entertainment, and I’ve seen noticeable improvements in my son’s learning abilities and enthusiasm. I highly recommend this app to any parent looking for a meaningful way to supplement their child's early education!
Fantastic learning tool!. I use SplashLearn as part of our after-school routine to give my child extra practice and revision in math and reading. It’s a great way to reinforce what he’s already learning, but in a much more engaging format. My child absolutely loves it because the lessons feel more like fun games than schoolwork. The colorful graphics, interactive challenges, and little rewards keep him excited and motivated to keep playing (and learning!). He often asks to do “just one more level,” which is a big win for us. What I really appreciate is how SplashLearn tracks his progress and shows me exactly where he’s excelling and where he might need more support. The program is closely aligned with his curriculum, so I know the practice he’s doing is meaningful and relevant. Over time, I’ve noticed his confidence has grown, and he approaches tricky math problems with much less hesitation. Overall, SplashLearn has been a fantastic tool in our learning journey—making practice fun for my child while giving me the reassurance that he’s building strong skills step by step.
A Game-Changer for My Child’s Education. I can’t say enough good things about SplashLearn. My daughter was really struggling in school and was close to failing her grade. We were stressed and didn’t know what to do—until we found SplashLearn. The program made learning fun, engaging, and easy to follow. The interactive lessons kept her motivated, and the way the material was broken down really helped her grasp concepts she had previously found overwhelming. We used it consistently, and over time, we saw a huge improvement—not just in her test scores, but in her confidence, too. Thanks to SplashLearn, she was able to catch up, stay on track, and was successfully promoted to the next grade level. It truly made all the difference. I highly recommend it to any parent whose child needs extra support or just a more engaging way to learn.
A Game-Changer for After-School Learning!. As a working parent, finding engaging and effective learning tools is always a top priority, and SplashLearn has been an absolute game-changer! I’ve been using it with my child for a year now, as an after-school learning resource, and the results have been amazing. **What My Child Loves:** From the moment we started, my child was hooked! The games are super fun, and the graphics are so engaging. Every lesson feels like a new adventure, with exciting challenges and interactive elements that keep my child eager to log in each day. Whether it’s solving math problems or mastering new concepts, the game-like format makes learning feel less like a task and more like playtime. SplashLearn’s ability to track progress has been a huge help for me as a parent. I can easily see where my child is excelling and where they need more practice. The curriculum provides a seamless learning experience that aligns with what my child is already learning. It’s also a huge confidence booster. As my child masters new skills and levels up in the game, I can see her self-esteem grow, which is priceless. It’s not just about the fun—SplashLearn has led to noticeable improvements in my child's learning outcomes. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with SplashLearn! It’s not just an educational tool; it’s a fun and motivating way to reinforce what my child is learning, all while building confidence and helping them develop a love for learning.
Canceling Subscription. My daughter loves this app and she is learning incredibly fast. She’s 1 but she is super focused on the content and always eager to learn, so much so that often times the first thing she says when she wakes up is splash learn (in her gibberish talk) I’m not kidding about that. I also like the app, how I was able to build her profile based off of her level of skill, the progressive challenges and the creativity. However, I have two issues that are big for me, that is leading me to cancel my subscription: The constant bugs, and the constant witch craft stuff. My phone is fairly new so I know it’s not my phone acting up when the app stops tracking her progress in the curriculum process. It stays stuck on lesson 1/5 and repeats the lesson she just completed over and over, it goes mute randomly, or it won’t register the screen touches. My issue with the witch craft stuff, my family strives to follow Christ and the Word of Truth. Witch craft is not something to joke about it’s very real and very evil the last thing I want to do is teach my kid that witch craft is harmless by putting it in her learning games. That’s something that might be worth looking into if this company is looking to cater to a wider range of parents and their kids. Other than that the app is lovely, I’m sure my kid will miss it.
Frustrated. So I downloaded and paid for this app cause my child loves learning thought it would be a great app. My child has worked very hard at this app earning many coins and when trying reward her letting her spend what she has earned and that I paid my hard earn money on the app doesn’t work like it is supposed to. I have been going back and forth with the company for a week now and they still have not resolved the issue they say I have to go the website, did that still doesn’t work so then they say well we will have to talk over the phone to fix the issue. BS it’s your app fix the problem you don’t need me on the phone to do your job nor do you need on my computer. I paid for a product and it should be delivered but keep getting the run around. Not worth the money as far as I’m concerned and cancelled my subscription and don’t recommend it to anyone.
The Best Learning App for Kids. SplashLearn has been an absolute game-changer for my 4-year-old daughter Alice! Every afternoon she grabs my phone or iPad and excitedly asks to “play on the splash pad.” The bright, cheerful graphics and adorable animations make learning feel like pure fun; she giggles at the little characters and gets so proud when she earns coins and new outfits for her avatar. The content is perfect for her age. We have everything set to Pre-K level, and it’s exactly the right challenge; she’s mastering numbers, counting, shapes, and early addition/subtraction without ever feeling overwhelmed. I love that I can customize the level for each skill so it’s always just right for Alice. The live classes are pure magic for her. The moment the teacher says “Hi Alice!” or “Good job, Alice!” her whole face lights up, she waves at the screen, and she stays glued for the entire session. Hearing her name and getting that personal praise keeps her so engaged and builds her confidence like nothing else. We’ve tried other apps, but none come close. SplashLearn is the only one Alice chooses on her own every single day. As a parent, I love the weekly progress reports, the adaptive practice, and how stress-free it is for me. Alice is having a blast and actually learning; it doesn’t get better than that. Highly recommend for any preschool parent!
Exceptional Learning App. As a parent, I’m always looking for engaging and educational tools to support my children's learning, and SplashLearn has exceeded all expectations! Both my sons, Pearly and Robin, have been using the app, and it has truly made a difference in their learning journey. The app offers a perfect balance of fun and education, making subjects like math and reading enjoyable rather than intimidating. The interactive lessons, vibrant animations, and gamified approach keep my kids engaged while reinforcing essential concepts. I love how the app adapts to their learning pace, ensuring they are both challenged and encouraged without feeling overwhelmed. Another great feature is the progress tracking, which allows me to see how Pearly and Robin are advancing in their skills. It gives me confidence that they are not only having fun but also making real progress. Overall, SplashLearn is an amazing educational app that I highly recommend for parents looking for an effective and enjoyable way to enhance their children's learning experience. Five stars!
Why did I download this?. I just started fourth grade, and I really am not that advanced at math. Only a little. I read and write at an eleventh grade level. My Terrenova test says so! But here, I tried the third grade level first, because I had only just begun fourth grade. Way to easy. I was SO upset about the reading, though. I read books in preschool. That’s not AWESOME. But here, you are trying to teach me how to read simple words! AND, I already read Harry Potter in first grade! Trying to teach me the word, ‘the’ is outrageous! The math, as well as the reading was terrible. I deleted the app then downloaded it again so I could play the fourth grade level. Still, not any better. I decided to keep going with it, though, because I figured it would level me up. That way maybe it would have me move up to fifth grade. But this was impossible. I got sick of reading two pages about caterpillars turning into butterflies. So, I transferred to the fifth grade level. I was furious, for the app was still asking if I could multiply single digit numbers in my head without repeated addition. Duh 🙄 I realized that once it taught me fifth grade, that was all. It didn’t teach middle schoolers anything. Which is fine, because right after this review, I will delete this time-wasting app. Another thing is, this app freezes so much. Oh, and it logs my little sister out and back to the home screen every time she goes on the app. Please fix!
Amazing learning app for toddlers. I can’t say enough good things about the SplashLearn app! My two and a half year old has learned so much already. We’re planning to homeschool, and this app has been a game changer for keeping him involved and engaged in a fun, interactive way. He actually asks to play the games every day, and it’s been such a joy to see him excited about learning. He does his lessons with me without any fuss, and the worksheets are a great bonus. they really help reinforce what he’s learning in the app. Highly recommend for any parents with young children, especially if you’re considering homeschooling or just want to give your child a head start!
My son loves splash learn!!!. I use SplashLearn as extra at-home support for my 5-year-old kindergarten son, mainly to reinforce what he’s learning in school without overwhelming or boring him. It has been a really helpful balance of learning and fun. The lessons are interactive and game-based, which keeps his attention and makes practice feel more like play than homework. He enjoys earning rewards and completing activities, and that motivation helps him stay engaged longer than traditional worksheets or flashcards. I like that the app adapts to his skill level and gives practice where he needs it most, while still moving forward at a comfortable pace. As a parent, it’s reassuring to be able to check his progress and see what concepts he’s working on. This isn’t meant to replace school instruction, but as an at-home learning supplement, it works very well and keeps learning from feeling repetitive or dull. Overall, SplashLearn has been a great tool for giving my son extra practice at home while keeping him interested and motivated.
Many Issues and Inadequate Customer Support. This is a great program, especially if you are homeschooling. There are unlimited activities and you do have some choice as to which activities to do. The price is also great. However, there are problems. First, my experience with customer service was poor. The response was inadequate and apathetic. I asked a question about following the curriculum because I could not find information for parents on the website. Next, the spelling activity is cute, but it lingers on the same words and doesn’t progress forward, and he has mastered the words. I need this fixed. My child was placed in special education and he needs a flexible curriculum. We are doing 3rd grade work primarily. For the 3rd grade Reading Comprehension, the program provides the answers after about one minute. This needs to be corrected. Some children need a lot of time for this. There are no grammar activities, at least in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade sections. The program crashes at times. We rarely use the App, it’s used on a desktop computer. Finally, the daily/weekly summaries are not accurate. For example, it states we used the app for 3 days when we used it for 5 days. It’s wrong about how much time is spent daily as well. We do Math first and usually receive an email stating that a certain number of minutes was spent on Math and English when we did not do English. Hopefully these issues can be corrected.
Great Learning App. SplashLearn has been an absolute game-changer for my child's learning journey! We happily invested in the paid membership, and it has proven to be well worth the cost. The depth of the program is fantastic. The best part is the detailed progress tracking—I receive comprehensive weekly and monthly reports that clearly break down my child's skill levels and areas for improvement in both Math and ELA. This immediate insight alone is invaluable for understanding where to focus. Additionally, the membership includes free, high-quality daily classes for ELA and Math, which are an incredibly helpful resource for reinforcing school concepts. Highly recommended for any parent looking for a premium, structured, and insightful learning tool!
Great App for Learning and Supplementing yet good enough on its own. We are in our second year of home school. Our 9yo daughter struggles with math occasionally. The math segment on SpashLearn makes it more engaging for her and allows her to process more as a result. Our 8yo son struggles with reading and focus. The reading segment for him holds his attention. There are games that assist with blending sounds which has helped him improve. He also loves the math and enjoys playing those games for fun. As a parent, the emails I receive allow me to track their progress. One thing about that is I can share their progress with them and provide positive reinforcement promoting encouragement and confidence. We really do love this app.
I guess, but... Everything was going good. I didn’t need a email to sign in, and when the free trial showed up, there was a X button and it let me move on! It’s very customizable to make your child safe. However, as I was playing, I only played 3 games and after that, this AI ‘kid’ voice said: “That’s all your free activities for today!” Then the screen froze. It also said to ask a parent. First of all, why do we have a limit? Second of all, I put multiplayer and when I clicked on a theme between ‘Jungle’ and ‘Aquarium’, It looked like I made a room. There was no option to join a room, so how am I supposed to play ‘Multiplayer’? Guys please get Prodigy because you don’t have to play, and when Clever shows up, just press the X button and continue! Btw, you can customize your own character to suit your style. 𝖲𝗍𝗂𝗅𝗅 𝗋𝖾𝖼𝗈𝗆𝗆𝖾𝗇𝖽, ☆𝒥𝒶𝒶𝓁𝒾♡︎
Enjoying it for my 4 year old!. I use this app as part of our homeschool routine. While I am working with my kindergartener on reading lessons, my four year old completes activities on SplashLearn. She loves getting to pick between math and letter practice. The activity’s are varied so it’s nice to mix it up and provide her with a choice. The app is user friendly and attractive. I can hand the phone over to my four year old and she can work the app well and stays engaged. The coolest feature to me is the progress reports that are sent to my email. These reports provide the percentage of accuracy for the skills she was practicing. If an accuracy percentage is lower than desired, the email will include a remediation worksheet that I can print and do with my child. Additionally, I have a profile set up under our same account for my kindergartener. She can focus on her level appropriate skills under her profile too. I feel like being able to use the subscription for both my children makes the price worth it. I’m happy with this app and I would recommend it for an independent activity as part of a homeschool routine or as extra review at home with traditional schooling.
SplashLearn = Fun Learning. I have been using SplashLearn for both of my kids, ages 4 and 10. They have consistently preferred SplashLearn over other math learning apps. It's especially impressive to see our youngest confidently solving addition and subtraction problems at such a young age. She has also learned the alphabet, phonics, and sight words through the SplashLearn curriculum. I haven't had to teach her anything; you won't believe it—just last week, she started reading books on her own! I was truly surprised. Thanks to SplashLearn, I made the decision to buy a membership a year ago, and now I realize it was one of the best decisions I've made so far.
Favorite Learning App!!!. I have enjoyed this app for the past year with my 6 year old! It has stayed up-to-date with what he should be practicing and learning. It gives him fun activities and ways to learn and be able to remember what he learned. It has fun games and activities for both kids by themselves or parents too! Our school also uses the app and it makes it so much fun to see the level my son gets to at school and then home too! Another favorite part of mine is the email updates for the parents! It keeps track of everything he is doing and shows me!
Great content but needs more parental controls. My 3 year old really enjoys this app. She used to do really well following the curriculum (we mostly do English learning), but ever since she discovered the games, she pretty much only wants to do those now. Some of the learning activities are also too long in my opinion. For example, the splashing game to reveal letters goes on for way too long. Eventually my toddler got bored and wanted to skip it. I think this makes the curriculum concept less effective because my toddler eventually wants to stop following it. She also doesn’t need the same amount of practice for each letter, I wish there was a way to move through the curriculum more effectively and more on pace for my kid specifically. The subscription is very pricey and I wish there was a way for me to control what content is accessible to my kid since she knows how to leave an activity and pick her own now. I don’t want her to only play the games. If there was a way to sprinkle in the games I know she likes into the curriculum, or customize the activities/sequence, that would be a really great feature. My subscription also came with access to the live classes but my child is in preschool during the class hours. If there was a way to access the class as a recording that would be awesome. My biggest peeve of this app is the lack of notification controls. I get SO MANY emails from splashlearn. Please add some settings to let me customize or turn these off.
Homeschooling Mom of 6. I have been homeschooling for 15 years and have used SplashLearn for two of my younger children, with plans to add my two youngest once they is old enough. I use SplashLearn strictly as a supplement to our lessons. My approach is simple: I teach my children a concept one-on-one, and once they have grasped it, I let them use SplashLearn for additional practice on that exact concept. This method has been extremely effective. SplashLearn’s interactive format keeps them engaged while reinforcing what they have just learned. I have noticed that practicing immediately after our lesson helps them retain the information much better over the long term. SplashLearn is easy to navigate, colorful, and fun for my children, yet educationally sound. It allows me to track their progress and quickly see if we need to revisit a topic. As a veteran homeschooling parent, I value resources that actually work without replacing my role as the primary teacher. SplashLearn fits that perfectly. I highly recommend it to other homeschool families looking for a well-designed, enjoyable way to reinforce lessons.
Good game. Hi, this is you might have heard me from Miss Buckingham’s class. I love the game super fun, but why do we have to sign up for it at home almost every learning game I try I just have to pay for everything. It is a really fun game but I hope you understand that if I want to play the game after three then when can I play it without playing because I can’t pay because I don’t have any money and it’s a really fun game. I play on my Chromebook all the time I just really really really really really want you to understand that I really like the game and I really want to play right now it’s just I can’t because I have to sign up for free after 3 o’clock maybe I should just download it and then do it on school time on the weekend if I want to play it but it’s Monday today and I have to flip a bunch of coins and stuff in splash math. It’s a super long, encouraging game hear me out but never never never make a kid hate the game My friend hates math. You might know her it’s Emma in my class. She hates math a lot. But if you just make her and said do to the office Welp, she does it because then she doesn’t wanna get in trouble in. So then someone called her mom because if your game is super educational then I will play all the time at school time on the weekend it is a great game to play. I love it so much it is great. I just can’t get enough of it. Please respond I really want to have a good memory about splash math. It’s a great game. Even though that I am seven, and my birthday is in 12 more days. I’m so excited I’m going to the wildlife Safari cause I got a permission slip to do it. The whole entire class is doing that. I am so excited. I hope you have a good time after the school hours. I hope you have a great time ,it’s Anne from Miss Buckinghams class😄😄😄
Great Supplemental At Home Learning. My son uses SplashLearn at his preschool and I am amazed watching him use this app at home. He has gotten so much better with his numbers and letter sounds/words. I think he has made great progress in what he has learned in school and being able to continue the learning at home. I do wish there was a way to block certain features or set an in app timer, which may be available and I am not aware of it. I like the idea of the live classes, however they are not interesting to my four year old. He doesn’t seem to enjoy just sitting there watching them. I am sure the live classes are a useful addition for older kids!
A Game-Changer for Learning!. SplashLearn has completely transformed how my child approaches learning, turning what could be a chore into an absolute delight! As a parent, I'm constantly seeking engaging and effective educational tools, and SplashLearn truly delivers on all fronts. The app's game-based learning approach is simply brilliant. My child is so engrossed in the vibrant graphics, quirky characters, and interactive activities that they don't even realize they're mastering essential math and reading skills. It's truly amazing to see them ask to do their "SplashLearn games" rather than being prompted! I particularly appreciate the personalized learning paths and the adaptive algorithm. This ensures that the challenges are always just right – not too easy to be boring, and not too hard to be frustrating. It builds confidence step by step, allowing my child to progress at their own pace and truly grasp concepts. The detailed progress reports are also incredibly helpful, giving me clear insights into their strengths and areas where they might need a little extra support. From mastering tricky multiplication tables to developing strong phonics skills and reading comprehension, SplashLearn covers a vast curriculum in a way that feels incredibly fun and intuitive. The variety of games and activities keeps things fresh and exciting, preventing any boredom. In a world filled with screen time, SplashLearn is a shining example of how technology can be harnessed for incredibly positive educational outcomes. It's a fantastic investment in your child's learning journey and genuinely worth every penny. Five stars all the way!
Fun educational app for kids. We’ve been using SplashLearn for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it’s become a favorite in our house! As a mom, I’m always looking for ways to make screen time more meaningful — and SplashLearn checks all the boxes. My kids actually look forward to using it, which says a lot! The app offers a great balance of fun and education. It covers both math and reading skills, and the interactive games really help reinforce what they’re learning in school. I love how it adapts to their skill level and gives me progress updates too, so I know exactly how they’re doing. I highly recommend giving SplashLearn a try!
Finally something they actually ask to play. Honestly, this has been a total win for my house. I have an 8-year-old and a 5-year-old, and getting them to practice math usually involves some bribery, but they actually ask to play SplashLearn. The games are fun enough that they don't feel like "work," but I can see them actually grasping the concepts they're doing in school. It's super colorful and interactive, which keeps them engaged way longer than a worksheet ever could. Definitely recommend if you need something to make learning stick without the daily battle.
Great supplement for learning. My 4 year old son loves this app! He asks for Splash Learn daily. We had searched for a good educational app for a while now and nothing stood out until we found Splash Learn. This app has helped my son master his ABC’s in ways I couldn’t. We struggled with writing the alphabet but the way Splash Learn teaches each letter is extremely unique. It breaks down each letter to make it easy for young children to understand and remember. His penmanship has significantly improved, as well as his letter recognition. And the best part it, unlike other apps, he isn’t wild after he uses this one because it’s not over stimulating. We love the little sticker rewards for completing tasks and we enjoy doing this app together or my son working it on his own. Highly recommend Splash Learn!
Highlight Instructions?. I know this app is great for kids as it provides a fun and interactive way for them to learn early math concepts. However, I wish the app would highlight words when the “speaker” reads the instructions. Example: ABC Mouse app when they read books and highlight the words in the sentence as the speaker speaks. I believe this might help set kids up when having to go to school and do homework or tests with instructions! Just another thing they can improve on and add to the app. I’ve learned with my younger brother that he never reads instructions and uses the way the problem is set up to figure out what he needs to do; however, I want to improve my little sister’s reading. So, I’m taking my time to teach her about reading math instructions even though she’s a Kindergartener.
Homeschoolers BFF!!. I’ve had a hard time getting my daughter away from screens to do her work but this app is absolutely great! I haven’t found a homeschool friendly learning app like this and Splash Learn is exactly what I was looking for! I can choose what her focus is for the day, the time limit and I get a grade report to make sure she’s actually doing her work and understanding the lesson. Now that I’m about to have 2 kiddos being homeschooled, I absolutely LOVE the multi player learning games they can do together! This app has truly saved my sanity since having a new a baby at home recently and can’t put as much attention on my school aged kids by planning their day out. This app does it all for me!Total game changer!
A game changer for My Family!. My son used to use SplashLearn all the time at school where it was highly recommended by his teachers! He loves it so much that even when he comes home from school he wants to continue doing more activities. I recently purchased the monthly subscription and it’s been incredible. Even without a purchase you’re able to access some activities for free which is such a great features! SplashLearn has helped my son so much with his Math, and reading skills, and the fun activities keep him engaged. He’s in first grade and my youngest who is in Pre-K uses it too. It has been a big help for both of them. This app is definitely amazing and such a valuable tool for learning. Highly recommend it to other families!
Child likes it and it’s educational. We allow our child Occasional iPad time but prefer for it to be educational. Recently we discovered splash learn and it has been a hit with our daughter. She is able to easily navigate the app herself without accidentally closing it or getting frustrated like with many other games. The areas include a variety of learning topics like math, reading etc. I really like that splash learn emails the parents a summary of how your child did with each activity. It’s fun to see how they excel in certain areas. Overall I think this is a nice learning app and I would recommend it to other parents.
Why my kids love SplashLearn. My kids (5 and 9) use SplashLearn primarily for afterschool practice, live classes and revision. It provides an interactive way for my child to practice essential concepts and solidify their understanding in subjects like math and reading. We can tailor the lessons to fit our schedule and focus on areas that need more attention. My kids love the fun games, colorful graphics, and the exciting challenges that make learning feel more like play. The progress milestones, like earning rewards and unlocking new levels, keep them motivated and engaged throughout their learning sessions. SplashLearn helps by tracking progress and offering insights into areas that need improvement. It fits well with our curriculum and allows us to work at the kids pace, building their confidence as they master new skills. The personalized learning path ensures that we target specific areas where they need the most help, leading to improved learning outcomes and greater retention.
I would give a 2. Just I’m like when is the kids she does not really love like love love math in school. Well I do like school and I like math but not love it do you know why because sometimes I feel like it only teaches me kindergarten when right now I’m in first grade and I am in like right now I am like in summer break and I’m going to second grade but that’s not important when I’m trying to say that, whenever I try to play the games it’s for kindergartners like I already know all the answers so I don’t really play it that often and when I don’t play it that often I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to like play that play it that much I think I’m just gonna have to delete that game but I can’t because I mean I want to do I can’t because that one make me bored why because when I’m when it’s school time the first day of school I’m not gonna be able to use my tablet and when it’s school time all I’m going to be doing right now at school is learning and then when I come back home, I’m gonna have to do six math problems and do other things then my tablet I’m not gonna be able to do my tablet when I come home so I hope I’m saying the right thing because yeah so when I come home I can play with my tablet and it’s sad, but it’s summer break and now I can so it’s not really sad for me right now. I’m having a great day and I wish the people in summer break will have a great day to .
best learning program for 4 to 10 years old. One of the best learning app in the app store. it have all the major elements a child need to learn math. the app is fun, engaging, motivational and also rewarding. the games in the app are well thought and well executed which makes the learning fun. the characters are super cute and lovely. my child has even given them a name. the app is super friendly for my child and gives a corrective answers with detailed explanation when she is not able to figure out the right answer. the reporting part and weekly reminders are also well executed which gives a pretty good idea about how the child is progressing. my second child who is of higher age wished the app should also be made available for higher grades and for more subjects. we are always on a look out for educational apps and really appreciate when a single brand covers all the topics. I am now a very big fan of splash math and going to share it with my child’s school when it opens after the summer. will also be recommending to my friends 👫 and family.
Want to love it...but...it freezes constantly!. This is a REALLY great app! My 5 yr old daughter loves math, and loves the games as well as excels at the material. I’m happy with how it presents new concepts to her. It IS a bit repetitive, but I guess that’s how some people learn! We both want to love this app but she also ends up CONSTANTLY FRUSTRATED with it. It freezes every 5-10 minutes and even if you try to “resume” after it reloads by pressing that option, I almost always have to force restart the game. I won’t subscribe to something that doesn’t work. Sorry! Another issue I have with it is that because she can’t read yet, I have to sit with her while she works on the material. I wish that it would have a “closed-captioning” option for kids who can’t read, where it would read the entire problem to them, not just part of it. I wish also that you could more easily change the grade of the material. While my daughter is going to be in kindergarten, she does understand some 1st grade concepts and I would love to challenge her with some higher -level games and material! But I can’t figure out how to change the level. I’ll gladly change my review if the freezing issue can be resolved!
Splash Math. My son who is 5 years old love Splash Math. Both parents here love everything about this app. This is a great game. The animation and the graphics are super fun, rich and vibrant. All the characters in the app are cute and charming. To do all of this with keeping learning as the primary focus is not and east thing. This reminds me old school learning tools and the likes. My son needed help with number recognition and through the apps algorithm, it gave more repetitive ways to learn and master the skills. The system know what question should be the next so its perfect. The progress report dashboard also helps us to know how the child is doing and tailor the program accordingly The pricing kept us unsure but after checking them out and watching our son counting numbers and doing addition, we were sure that it will be totally worth it and encouraged us to purchase. We wish we’d gotten to learn math like this. The characters are super fun and the fast mini games that secretly teach math foundations. It covers from kindergarten to grade 5 and we are super sure it will be a great program for our son. Recommending to all our friends 👫
Umm idk what to say about this…. OK, so my mom got this for me. It’s been like two months or more and it’s almost $100 like I don’t even play this game though all I wanna do is play Roblox with my besties. I have this game a few times not that much though because it’s summer for me right now because when I made this review, it’s summer for I have one more month and then I have to go back to school😔 but anyways, I played this in kindergarten and first grade and then second grade in school and I don’t think anybody wants to play a school education game on summer that you played in school. I think maybe some people might. I’m sorry if you like this game I’m really sorry what I said but if it’s summer for you, you might wanna go play outside or play Roblox or play other games or you might just wanna play SplashLearn and learn and stuff. But for me, it’s kind of boring if I did. In school and I don’t really wanna do school stuff during the summer I just wanna play Roblox with my friends play outside. Go to my friends house. And do a lot of other things so yeah thanks for reading. Tell me if this was helpful BYEE💗🎀🌸💖🌷🩷

Pls read. Look, this app is great for learning and having fun. I think it is great but you will click on an activity and it takes forever to load. This is still a great app for learning, it also gives you a certain amount of time on the app. You can have your own profile with all you accomplishments and info. So 3out of5 I guess. It’s great though Thanks for reading😊
Latest update crashing. It was good and one of the best app for K-5 until the last update. Now it hangs and crashes. Pretty much useless
Good game. My 6yo likes this game
Great but... Hi my mum downloaded this app for me and it is quite fun but there’s just one problem. Why does it send out so many annoying messages? Every time I’m on my iPad doing fun stuff it messages me to play for just 5 mins! I think if ur gonna send out messages like that, it should be for new updates like a new game in it or something like that. Thank u for this app, u put in a lot of effort.

ITS A SCAM!. I cancelled the subscription in the AppStore ages ago and received a “receipt of payment” email. It is removed from the AppStore subscriptions page but you need to unsubscribe on their website. Apart from an App with major glitches that keep kicking you out, buttons that don’t work, irritating music and the most over gamified “educational” app I’ve ever tested. It lacks substance or variety and is highly addictive with little return on investment. Questions never change from the constant repetition and do not correctly evaluate any mathematical concepts. This means that any child will select the “other option” the next time and learn nothing. There is no real attempt to make this beneficial to your child-parents and educators beware!!! I test these for a school and there are much better products available (and they don’t steal your money either).
Deceptive business practices. If you sign up for the free math trial and don't cancel in time, the company charges you an entire year of math and reading. That is incredibly deceptive and dishonest. Unacceptable for an "education" company.
Web browser and app do not sync. App does not show the activities that I am doing online web browser. My content always is up to date on browser and App always shows that everything is locked. This is a silly app in my opinion…
Nice. Friendly maths app. My boys, 5 and 9, thought it was fun to use and this encouraged them to complete the maths questions. Great graphics, and the content covered seems decent.
Jomama. Jom
THIS GAME IS BAD. when i am playing in class math activity's it always tells me YOU HAVE RAN OUT OF FREE GAMES FOR TODAY☺️☺️☺️🙄🙄🙄 like no one is gonna play your game if they can't even play for 10 mins and the fact it is for money it isn't worth it like i can't play in class and i just have to sit there so bored i am in year 3 and everyone in the class agrees with me so please remove that.
Crashed very firsttime. I have downloaded this app and open very first time which is not good experience because after selecting age 4, next button doesn't works.
To little for free trial. The free trial is too short!
CRAPPY KIDS GAME AD IN A MINECRAFT RIP OFF!. There are many Minecraft rip offs out there. In one of them, I saw this game! I HATE YOU!
Really good. Great fun app, recommend it to everyone, no seriously try it!
Splash maths. Best math game I have ever used
Good content, but crashes constantly.. The content is really good, but for such an expensive subscription you would think the developers would fix the crashing issue ASAP, and would respond to support emails requesting a fix for the issue. They have done neither.
Inavd. You
Ngh-blade faster. This game is wonderhoy i hate it glazed donuts on a grill with miku cooking scaracochie whith some coochie
Trash. It’s a huge waste of money don’t get this!
account Issue. I used to register and access with my email but I don’t know now when I want to use the app again it won’t let me subscribe and the message “different email is link to this account”keep pop up . It really really frustrating as I want to log in and subscribe .
😡😡😡😡😡😡. It’s a rip off werest App ever
Fun and addictive. My son is learning maths faster than he was at school. We are very happy. There is the right amount of repetition without him losing interest. Well worth the money!
AMAZING GAME. I love the game so much that I play it every day which is awesome and I will never stop
This is so useful and good!. SplashLearn is a great way to help your child learn while they play fun mini games. I’ve been watching my son and he’s been learning, a lot. Thank you!
Worst app with 1 yr subscription!. Worst app ever because it’s automatic 1 year subscription for $111! Be careful! Make sure you cancel before getting charged if you like it! What’s so hard about making it weekly subscription, if you are confident with your app? Good apps won’t get cancelled in weeks.
Good game. I loved the game it was great until the last update and it started crashing out
It’s ok. Splash learn is not ok but i feel like they ask a lot of information about you. It’s odd 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Miss. Great way to get my son to catch up in a fun way. Keeps him entertained and rewarded all the time learning.
After a month of paying full year subscription stops working. Paid $99.99 for the full year for my 3 children to use now when they go on it force closes after 30 seconds of opening the app tried exporting the problem with no response. Very unimpressed was a great app for my children’s learning and loved I got emails to tell me how well they were doing, children very upset it has stoped working now I have wasted $99.99.
THE BIGGEST SCAM EVA!. just a big fat scam
Krish.Patel. It is fun mathematics
Great app. A great app. Not happy have to pay per level but otherwise great my daughter was telling time at 4 and doing yr1 work
yay. great app but it wont save my kids progress
Really good. I really like this
Good and all but... Hi I know the app is great and all but there is just one problem.. you have to pay and you can only do five different things each day and if you want to do it free access you have to pay and that really annoys me. so I do not recommend this app. Do not get it.
Professional App with Great Fun Content. We were really impressed with this App which caught the eye of our son (5). He is well ahead of school Maths and needed something extra on the iPad that was fun and also not mindless screen time. With Splash Math I can keep abreast of his learning. Great graphics, actual meaningful, well organised content.
I had this but I don,t like that you have to pay. No one download this app it’s so bad and annoying
Great Application. My class love this App! But every time we try to access the ‘Maths facts’ section, all the kids iPads just quit? I have troubleshooted as much as possible.. but am thinking it may be a problem with the app?
Splash math. This app is awesome try now it has so much games.
My kids. My kids are not really learning anything there sooo stressed about it. So I think u should make it just a bit more fun and easy 👍🏼 I think maths should be fun to do it not like u have to do it. Like u want to do it
Awesome for our children. They are playing this all the time
Crashing on startup since last update. Been crashing on startup last 2 days. Hope it gets fixed as it’s otherwise a great education app. After deleting and re-adding the app it has been working again. Happy that all progress in the game was restored too.
Both my kids loved!. My 4yr old loved this especially to get the birds flying he tend to try the app and laughs out loud when it happens.. Daughter then 6yrs played a little but got bored for some reason. Overall there is a tremendous potential for this app. Current users would benefit from their spending in my view, at the same time a little polish up in the usability of the application would greatly benefit for everyone involved!
Need more after school time. We need more time after school to complete tasks given by teacher
IT TAKES TOO LONG. I play this everyday but this is A HUGE PROBLEM. IT TAKES FOREVER FOR THE BAR TO GO UP EVEN JUST A LITTLE BIT
Scammers.. Downloaded app and said $9.99 a month after 7 day trial. I signed up after it gave me a date (7days) when trial ended and will be charged the $9.99. Clicked ok and straight away $100 got taken out of my bank account. Tried the online chat to get refunded but they just said can't find my subscription even when I send through the invoice I got emailed. Won't do anything about it. Will now have to take this further to get money back. SCAMMERS!! Be warned !! There is NO trial period !!!
So confusing. There is no instructions what so ever about what Difference channel between Student log In and parents log in. It is a a user friendly plateform for Parents who dont know anything yet. Where is my consultant during The Covid lockdown
It’s awesome but the crashing. It just now crashes when I’m playing the secret of the numerals but I know you can release a new update to fix this.

PLEAsE IT BOTHeRS ME ALOT Thank you!
Can’t cancel the subscription. You can’t cancel the subscription. You’d think that this issue would have been fixed right after they have found the problem. This leaves me to think that they are making it difficult so they can make more money unethically.
SplashLearn is going good. SplashLearn is a fun game but i mean it’s not like the best game ever but it’s fun yeah it is okay.
Not working, wasting money. Every time I enter the app it dosent let me do anything except view my cards, the fish plase and the jungle (which is my profile) please fix this so I don't waste my parents money for absolutely NOTHING
Great App. My kids love all of the options for learning available on this app. It makes it fun for them which is always a bonus
Good app. It good but some times it glitches but it’s still a good app it’s been helping me out with math
Loading forever never got to appreciate if it was bad or good.. It might be a great game but we wouldn’t know as it takes forever to load each game. For the cost it shouldn’t be that glitchy.
Good. Look at tittle
TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD LEVELS. Goddamnit
It said this was free. Not free pls change, free 7 day trial is not free
Engaging and fun for my 7 year old. Makes learning fun and easy
Great game, but.... So, this is a great learning app for kids, but I have a couple problems... First of all, when you open the app for the first time in one day, you have free access to almost EVERYTHING. Then, when you do the learning path for the day, the app will ask you for money and everything will become locked. Second of all, when you finish reading one of the Oddbods books, and you get stars, the app will glitch on the last page of the book, to fix it, all I have to do is exit the app and come back in the app. Please fix this glitch. OK, despite all the problems, I recommend this app for children ages 3-6. Older kids might get bored of this. Great game!
I love u. The best learning experience for my 8 year old kid
Great app. My Kids Love This App Keep Up The Great Work!
Why 4stars by Stella Vlad. It teaches me about math. You can earn stars and coins and keeps it fun. This review was done by Stella Vlad personally.
Sound issue. Sound does not work in reading module
Don’t waste your time. I need to pay a subscription for my kid to play a game…
Amazing app. This is a awesome app! I have learned so much. A bit pricey but it’s worth it!
Love it but have questions. My sons classroom uses this outside of school but I found those hours to just not work for us…so we bought the app. However I’m confused if we have access to math, spelling, reading etc or just 1 subject? With the price I do hope it’s all access?
Good math game. Aura likes this game she likes math she knows 2+2 she know that is 4!😃 she is a kid who is 6 years old! She loves splash learn🤩 she also play this at school!😚
Confusing subscription plans. The plans and what it entails are so confusing. I subscribe for a 1 year plan and I am unsure what it includes because it says I have limited access to most of the activities.
Ok…. Not bad but some questions don’t make sense and have interesting explaining.
Brutal. Should be upfront about the costs and how impossible it is to delete app and notifications. Staff not helpful.
Amazing app. But when you don’t download the app you can barely do anything.
Great education game!. Unlike most education games, you can play this game at school and at home I’m turning 9 years old this year and this game is amazing I’m not sure how to subscribe yet like everyone has been talking about, amazing game!
Paid but didn’t work. I paid for the subscriptions and all the games are still locked and to unlock them I have to pay again it doesn’t make sense!
The app keeps glitching and not allowing us to move forward with the lesson. We have updated the app, restarted the iPad, and still the app continues to glitch so we can’t continue the learning path for the day. Also, there is not enough variety of lessons/activities. Very disappointing considering the amount it costs to access.
$28 per months and limited. The games are fun and age appropriate, but to allow both of my kids to play they charge me $28/months, and will only allow them to play 2 games per day... Overall... That's pretty messed up.
Auto renew with no notice. This app charged my credit card a $90 CAD fee for renewal without send g any renewal notice and it skirts apples store by charging in app. Now all they're offering is 50% back.
Support Unresponsive. After the recent major overhaul, our child’s profile was broken, dropping her back two grades and erasing several months of progress in her current grade. Needless to say this was very upsetting as they do not wish to have to repeat the many levels they already completed. We have received no response at all from customer support, despite several attempts to reach them. While we previously thought well of SplashMath, we would no longer recommend them. We will update this review if by any chance they ever get back to us.
Is this for school?. This is an amazing game and all but there is just one tiny issue. My teacher sent me assignments to do but I have no access at all to do the assignments, we did this at school using the school IPads, it worked perfectly at school but when I came home, the "assignment" button was not there. I really need help because if we do not do it at school then I have no way to access it at home, please let me know if you know what to do. Thank you!
😡. I pay 124$ and not working only limited time 😤 say try with another e-mail 😡😡😡
Kids. Is it for kids âge 9 year old??
This learning app kept saying bad stuff to my child. It said the d word my child kept saying it after
Braelene Narcisse. Do you have to pay for the game though
Colors too bright and gamified. Only concern is app has too much vibrant colors which hurts the eyes and the their is too much gamification so kids pick the pattern and just follow that
Don’t install or suscribe. It will keep charge you forever. I don’t know how I ended up register and subscribe to this app, but it’s been taking months of back-and-forth requesting refunds and cancellation of the account. I cannot see the registration or subscription in my phone or my kids iPads, but they kept charging me and charging me and charging me. I understand this is a learning app and I hope they listen and learn from feedback that this shouldn’t be there. Approach with clients.
SplashLearn. I Love SplashLearn
THIS IS THE BEST APP EVER!. Just kidding this is the worst math app ever it gives me 1 task every day don’t download it
Good but one little problem. The app itself is good but sometimes the levels go on for way to long. Good game otherwise!
My child loves it!. She loves it so much but sometimes she doesn’t play it and she forgets but it’s ok it’s still good but why do I need to pay for free trial?
Very buggy and repetitive. This app is full of bugs and super repetitive. The lessons repeat themselves again and again, sometimes making it impossible to move forward unless you repeat the same one (even with a perfect score?) Certain activities don’t have sound. It’s a mess. The lessons are very basic and extremely repetitive in terms of format as well. Two days in, and with no way to speed up the learning, we opted to cancel (also, bugs) as it was just encouraging useless screen time. I also find that rewarding kids with coins is such an odd thing. Hard to not feel like we’re not brainwashing kids to be good little consumers.
Slow. Never loads any books, never loads sounds. Always has trouble connecting to wifi. KEEP AWAY
Pricy. Too expensive now it wasn’t so expensive when I logged up for my child
Subscription only. Looks like a good app just from the set up but a 7 day trial then $15/month means we won’t find out how good.
New update is so nasty. I hate this update with all of my heart please make it like it was before
Option to turn off answers. The app is good but you need to give us the option to turn off the answers. My child doesn’t have enough time to sound out the words before you give the answer. It would be an awesome app if it had this option.
Why SplashLearn is the best!. SplashLearn is the best because when my child was bored bored and didn’t wanna do math I downloaded SplashLearn now my child does her math every single day having so much fun and learning new stuff like reading and writing and math. She never wanted to delete it usually when I get her other math games she doesn’t like it and she wants to delete it but not with this one. She spends every day for almost 3 hours playing SplashLearn. That’s why SplashLearn is the best game to ever exist in math history.
Great, engaging games that are curriculum based. I use this app in my classroom and at home with my son. It is a great way to assign relevant activities to what the kids are learning in class. They always look forward to their turns on SplashLearn and I love the reports I can look at. I also love the created slideshows that connect to the games. They keep the students engaged in class. The only thing I do not like is that you cannot link an already created account to a classroom. I attempted to link a student who already had a parent account to my classroom, only to be told they would need to create a whole new account. Meaning he would lose all his progress and as a teacher, I would not see what he has already mastered. Being able to see the past reports would be exponentially valuable as a teacher. Being able to link parent accounts to classrooms would make a huge improvement. Customer service was wonderful and quick to respond, but in the end could not help connect his account to me.
Beware. Free trial is not true. They charge you even if you cancel before the free trial ends You can only cancel calling

Bugs and Freezes. I was really happy with the app at first for my little sister but when playing the math games a lot of the games would freeze half way and we'd start all over just for it to freeze again, and i would love if i could make the curriculum a little more specific, i feel like the education she's getting at a pre k level is too easy. The game was really good besides that and it was the first time she actually enjoyed learning but the bugs are a deal breaker...
The middle-half. I tested this app 1 ago for my kids and it looked very trustworthy and I decided nevermind i will just let it fly away let my kids use the apps. Everyday you get one lesson and it’s mostly going to my nerves and i was frustrating after my kids told me and guess what i had to pay. There is kids trying to find a app they can learn on but there is always a twist they either get 1-5 lessons on any learning apps and you always have to buy stuff? Stuff is the things like you have to pay money.
We tried Many. We started looking at online educational/fun apps as soon as our son begin kindergarten. After trying many of the so called “free” apps, we heard that our boy is using SplashLearn at school. We decided to sign up for the free trial and immediately fell in love. The app is robust, comprehensive and easy to set up by levels. We are using the app for a year now and our 5 years daughter started using it as well. Strongly recommended.
The best!. So far we’ve been on this app for two month. Both my children love this app. For my youngest she just plays all the games but has come so far in just a short amount of time!! My oldest also plays but also takes the live classes! I love sitting with her watching her learn new stuff every week. I also like that they have multiple times for the classes. So if one time doesn’t work you can always catch the next class late in the day.
Fun learning. This app makes my daughter actually want to practice. She really enjoys Splashlearn at home and at school, her teacher sends emails if there is something she needs to finish. When school has been canceled due to bad weather, she’s been able to use the app at home. Sometimes she’ll even use it on the weekends or on roadtrips; any educational app is ok in my book.
I love it. This is a great app. I love that she is able to follow a curriculum and when she is weak in a certain area they send a paper worksheet so that she can continue to work on that area. I love that they send the progress report the next day. She enjoy the live classes, that’s an extra bonus . She is working on things she hasn’t started working on in school yet. I definitely recommend this app.
Poor customer service. Terrible customer service. We paid for one year of this app in January and could never log in. It is now almost September and we have not yet logged in. When we try to set up our child, it says we need to use the all levels app. We go to the all levels app and can’t sign in because that is not the app we have a subscription to, and it wants us to pay again. We’ve been getting the runaround for one year, never had access and are out nearly $100. This app may work fine if you have no customer service needs but our experience with customer service earlier in the year suggests this company is a scam.
We love it. My child recently turned 4 years old, and he loves this app. I had to purchase it for him. He is almost done with Kindergarten level. But he is also advanced: he reads and adds numbers. This app just supports the work I do with him outside this app. I really like us having only educational apps on the iPhone/iPad he uses. So I opened this app to see if there are more such apps to support English and Science standards as this app does for math.
Great App!. My kids both love the splashlearn app. It is so much better then most the apps out there and it keeps our kids entertained while they are learning something so it is a win win for this dad! I would highly recommend this app for anyone that has kids that is looking for an app that will keep them focused and learning as well. Great job!
10/10 Recommend. We downloaded this app for our 5 and 7 year olds after my oldest used it in kindergarten occasionally. They have had such a blast, while learning and improving their math and literacy skills. I love getting email updates on their progress. This is our favorite educational app and definitely recommend to other families.
Dissatisfied. I downloaded this app because my sons class uses this for homework. At first it was fine and he was doing it on my phone which is easier then pulling out a laptop and setting it all up. I updated all my apps, and when I did that and tried to use this app it said it was now only available on an iPad! iPad, iPhone they are the same exact thing! So, now we cannot do his math homework because I don’t have a Mac or an iPad. I just think this is absolutely ridiculous and wish I would have never done the update to begin with. Extremely Disappointed!!!!!!!!!
Great learning app for kids. This app is incredible- keeps me 3 year old engaged and happy! Best part is that it offers so many easy to navigate learning games that have helped her with letter recognition and sounds! She loves playing games and does not get frustrated on this app like she does on other apps. It’s worth paying for so the ads don’t continually pop up like other apps. This offers so many styles of games and learning interactions. Great app!
Rip Off. Purchased the year subscription to this but am still in trial mode. After I purchased it, I did cancel my subscription but verified that it's still active until December 2018 (I didn't want it auto-renewing). Along with this one I also purchased 5th Grade Math Games, also by Study Pad. Completely different artwork for both, and nothing in this version tells me that 5th Grade Math Games is part of this bundle in any way. So we go to sign in to 5th grade math games only to get a message that tells us that since we bought the bundle we have to sign on to that instead. So I paid $14 for that app, $60 for this one, and can't use either one. Disappointed and frustrated.
Great!. I’m a huge fan of the splash learn kids learning app! As a parent, I don’t always have a lot of time to monitor my child they’re doing in math. My child is a first grader, so the essential work that they are learning in school is reinforced through the app. I received summary emails that tell me how progress is going and in what area is my child is doing well. These are a great recap for parents who don’t have a lot of time or who have multiple children.
Great app !!!!. My sons school is using this and i totally love the app! There are so many different things to choose from for them to learn in a playful way, we use it daily and I’ve seen a big improvement with his skills . It makes him look forward to learning and keeps his attention . I recommend this app , it’s a real game changer , definitely a must have for all parents .
Took my renewal $$$ AGAIN. Updating review 2: Supposedly cancelled last year. Spoke to someone who refunded me. Got charged again this year. Updating review: Still getting billed for an app that I cancelled two years ago. Signed it and clicked account deletion but it requires an email to do so. Now it’s charging $99 for a renewal. Who do I call to cancel since their app doesn’t allow for cancellation? This calls for a law suit. Renewed after using for one year. Updated the app, signed in but the app is still restricted. Tried to click the link "Already Purchased" but it says in-app purchases are not allowed. Did I just waste $79 for the annual renewal?
Great!!. This app is totally awesome! It has been a total game changer for my kids compared to previous apps we've used! Our kids actually ask to use this one unlike other apps we've tried. My preschooler is absolutely obsessed !!! If you're looking for something to boost your child's learning or confidence this is it ! Don't even bother with other apps this is the one !!
Awesome. This app continues to keep both of my children engaged during the duration of each lesson . Both children love the app so much that they often use it without me having to ask . The app is fun , colorful and children friendly. I can go in and check what my children are exceeding in and their areas of difficulty. The weekly updates to my email are most helpful . I would recommend this app to others .
Love it helps me learn math. Well I was having trouble with math I’m in 5th grade so yeah and my parents talked about it and said I’m going to use this app to get better at it at first I was like ohhh brother this is going to be stupid but now when I’m in math class I’m getting better at math I was so happy that I finally getting better at math this game makes it fun challenging and easy to play and when you get this app you will be like boring to fun but Scene I got my grade up I haven’t been playing much but I give this game 4 stars ⭐️😝🤣😂🙂😘🙃😍😅😗😂🧐😗😜😛😜😛😜😛😜 I’m Emily and I approve this message
Fun Review & Afterschool Practice. My 10 yo loves Splash Learn’s game style, graphics, and stories. He uses it to practice spelling, math, and reading comprehension after school and during breaks. I love that we can easily move up or down in grade level for different subjects, allowing him to practice a bit more on something he needs some extra support on or move on to something more challenging as he’s ready.
Best Homeschool online app!. My child has been excelling since downloading this app. This app has helped with my child’s reading and math skills. The best part of the app you get to partake in a online class with other students and a real teacher. They respond well in the chat, you get to hear and see your teacher. I also get alerts showing my child’s progress. It was money very well spent!!! 👌
Works great. I like the app because it reinforces the areas the children may be weaker in. I appreciate that the teachers are able to post assignments they want the children work on at home. The only thing I don’t like is the app doesn’t explain the concepts before the games start. Also there are some glitches where the instructions will be audible but the correction or award at the end are not audible
I love it. My child loves it, it is so fun she doesn’t want to get off of the app I love that it has so much fun bright colors for children to have fun I love all the animals and the designs, this is a really fun game for your children. please get it it helps you learn math, reading and other fun stuff, it is so colorful and bright. once again please get it for your child this is a five-star app for children
Having fun while learning. The app offers a number of variety games for each child at their learning level. I love that it’s something they can do independently on their own and I can trust that that it’s supplementing their learning needs. The kids enjoy it to the point where they actively choose to play the learning games during their device time.
Our kids love learning with this app. We use this program for 20-30 extra minutes of math practice every week day. Our kiddos are between the ages of 6-8. They find it challenging and rewarding to see their success rack up in points after their hard work. I help them work through harder problem sets as they learn and grow.
Good app to begin with but lacks difficult levels. I use this app for my two daughters' math practice at home. I notice that topics covered in each grade covers school curriculum. App also does a good job at providing aesthetically pleasing experience unlike other popular apps like IXL. I realize that IXL difficult to use and navigate. This is good app to start with. However, I feel that this app could do much better by adapting to student and challenging them by increasing difficulty level. Also, this app lacks word problems!
Great App. I got this app for my kids to keep up with math during the summery. They really enjoyed it. My biggest complaint is that the fee only includes three kids. I have four kids and didn’t want to pay double for one more seat. When I tried to contact them, I didn’t get any response. Which was frustrating. Fortunately, I have twins who were the same age so I just let them use the same account name. Not ideal. But it worked…and they only fought about it a little bit.
No parent access online. Apparently after having a student account, even after a teacher deletes the student and the company even sends an email saying it will change to a parent account, it won’t. And so far Customer service by email was no gelp, the rep on the phone reset my password for no reason and apparently had no idea that when I told him the options he was telling me to choose were not there, really were not there. I will probably change to a different math app after this subscription runs out. Toooooo pricey to have no one able to help or provide a correct answer.
Don’t give them your email!!!. They give a one week “taste” of their program and initially ask for your email (you know, to check on your kid’s “progress”). Once they have that you can unsubscribe or undo your mistake until you contact them because you ACTUALLY signed up an account. Everyone else has a cancelation button on their website, except for companies that put you through the wringer to try last minute sales pitches to keep you to stay, and even then, who knows if your account won’t be recharged or your info isn’t used by partners (read fine print). It’s best to just stay away from Splash Math. AND NO, You are not sorry to hear about this, no, I do not wish to contact you again and again regarding this!!!
Great App for learning. Both my boys love this app. We had Starfall, Reading Eggs and a few others but this is by far their favorite. It’s pretty customizable; however, I wish there was more control to move kids ahead when they are learning from multiple sources (apps, school, etc) and don’t do the app daily. Sometimes my oldest gets bored because he’s been learning in school and now is ahead of where he is at in the app.
Extremely difficult to cancel subscription. I’ve used SplashLearn in the past. Years ago, my son enjoyed many aspects except the reward system of reaching the top tier. He felt defeated and frustrated when he missed one & failed to reach the top. It seems the same for my daughter who is usually determined to correct mistakes so I am canceling our subscription again and just like last time, it is very challenging. In fact, it’s even more challenging this go round. You have many users but unfortunately we will not be using your app anymore as it is not the best for my children’s confidence, if we can actually cancel.
ABSOLUTELY OVERRATED. I’m giving this a 2 stars Bc you hardly do anything on this app unless you buy premium. You literally have 4 or 5 lessons then it’s all locked. The reason I even gave it stars was because it is very helpful when you have it. The math is also too easy. It gives me questions I learned already and I set it as 5th grade Bc that is where I’m going. I learned nothing yet so I expected the questions to be a bit challenging but I did it all in 2 minutes bc there is hardly anything and the math is too easy. So if your going to give us only 4-5 lessons at least make them hard
For those who can’t hear certain stuff on app. After doing the steps they say to take as far as settings on parent tab and on your phone if you have a iPhone make sure your ‘iPhone silent’ button on left side of phone above the volume switch is turned on you will be able to hear everything after fyi I just did that and now can hear every game and learning game
This is pretty good for kids needs updates of paying for everything. So I let my littlest kid go first for 10 minutes which is 3 he enjoyed that there was like songs and stuff, but my oldest kid went next and she wanted to do two lessons, but it only let her do one because after my littlest kid did one oldest was only able to do one because apparently, if you don’t pay, you can only do two lessons a day I don’t like that and that’s the onlybad part of splash line. The other parts are pretty good.
Using for over a year now. I needed an app for my kids to practice math facts and found splash and learn that has this and MORE! They even have live classes that I will have my kids do when they don’t have homework or are on a break. My kids are now 7 and 9 and still enjoying using the app. I also love how you can choose different topics to focus on. I have an older iPad and it’s doesn’t run the best on that but they can access live classes on my computer.
Kid Approved. My kid’s love this app. It is very educational and the possibilities are truly endless (if you have the subscription). My kids can sit on this app for hours, whether it’s assignments that I assign from my end (as a teacher) or live classes with educators. There are also tons of games and you can take charge of the curriculum. I honestly wish the monthly subscription was a bit more affordable, but as long as my kid has the drive to want to learn and participate; I will continue to contribute to his education.
It’s amazing. games ETA: Haha, I didn’t write this review…one of my kiddos did, but it’s absolutely true! All 4 of my kids love this app. It first was recommended to us by my daughter’s teacher last year when we had 14 snow days. It kept her engaged and helped her stay on top of her math skills. All of my kids play it and when they get screen time it’s OFTEN the first thing they want to do on their iPads. Can’t beat having an educational app as their choice for their FUN time.
Great app but there are things I wish could be customizable. I paid for the subscription to this and it was great to use. My problem is it wasn’t easy to use. It set time limits that I didn’t put in place and I didn’t like that I couldn’t customize the spelling portion. The timed math was too fast that she got frustrated. So I ended up not renewing the subscription. I was hoping to use it to supplement with it, but now I just need to find something that is much more customizable to suit our needs. It’s probably great if you homeschool.
Perfect for Homeschooling. I found Splash Learn about 6 months ago when we started our homeschool journey with our two children. We did the couple activities the app offered daily to see how our kids adapted to it. We made the jump recently to get the yearly subscription, no regrets! They love having unlimited access to learning. The app is easy to navigate, parental dash board to monitor the child’s progress, printable sheets. Overall it’s fun and educational for children.
App crashes, poor communication. This app is good only to practice. It does not teach your kids how to. But the problem is App crashes all the time and it is known factor. Problem has not been solved. My son has to start 3rd grade all over again from the beginning when app got refreshed and updated. But no communication was given that all your progress will be lost. Now biggest problem I am having is that the app crashed and my son lost his interest. It’s not that the app is free. You have to pay subscription but problem really does not get fixed. It’s been 2-3 weeks my son was not able to practice due to the app does want to open.
Good in theory, needs improvements.. I love that there are math assessments for various levels and the program can be used by teachers and parents with reports given out. I also like that correct answers are provided when wrong answers are given. Unfortunately, correct answers are often computer as wrong answers, and those questions may be repeated multiple times after that, exactly the same. My biggest pet peeve is how many questions there are in each activity, and no way of knowing if there are two questions left or 10. It’s exhausting, and I’m an adult.
Great App!. Great app! My toddler has learned so much from number sequences to tracing letters. She loves the little characters who help her learn along the way. The app itself is very user friendly for both parent and child. We as parents love that we get reports on her learning progress and see where she’s needing more help and time with. Honestly so glad we came across this app. We tried abc mouse but our toddler ended up loving this more. Definitely worth it!
Not suitable for children. Every medical pediatric body states that apps and pads and phones should only be used in airplane mode by children. This app requires a connection for any game to be used. And worse, the levels of RF are high as it is running, even though the content supposedly downloaded before play starts (after a long awkward download pause). These waves have harmful effects for children. Also the app is extremely buggy, slow, doesn't always recognize fingers, frequently has bugs like overlapping words that the child can't read, etc. I recommend RosiMosi, works in airplane mode, has tons of games and skills and grade levels, my kids love it.
I’m sure it’s great but. My son is 3 but he’s very bright. I haven’t had him tested to see what grade he falls in so I just put kindergarten level. It also has you fill out what your child already knows. I went ahead filled that out too and it showed an overview learning path (which after a few levels showed he’d reach first grade level)…and I thought great! Something to challenge him. My son goes to play and it’s basic putting sounds together 🤦🏻♀️ not even actual words. My son got bored and closed it out. Don’t waste your money unless you know what level your child is at. Also why have that catering option if it’s just going to ignore and have your child start basic again?
Changing apps. I used this app last year and my grandson improve a lot but when he finished all the math problems and scores were shown he did not want to do the same problems so I canceled that one and picked a different one. Here it is 2 months later and have never been able to add a new one because my email is on one that was used and it would not let me use it again. Called several times and found not one person who could help me. You need more people who have knowledge to help people. If you can find someone who can help me I will gladly pay for a different one
Kids want to play. While old school methods (multiplication tables, good old reading) are IMO still best, this is a great way to keep my young kids (3-7) engaged while learning. Lots of variety; they ask me to play almost every night. I do wish the guided learning path were a little more intelligent: it keeps recommending math basics for my oldest who has zoomed through those basics effortlessly and accurately
Makes learning fun. My second-grader loves this app. The assignments are fun, the characters are cute and she has learned a lot using this app. I like that it contains math and language arts options. I also like that not all lessons are exactly the same, the questions vary, so it doesn’t get boring. At the end of each assignment, the child receives a treasure chest with “cards” to collect, that’s always a nice reward at the end of a lesson that my child looks forward to.
To Expensive 😐. Soo, it costs a lot of money to buy stuff for a while. I just want you guys to change that because it really gets me. You know what I mean right? Nobody knows what I mean. But maybe u should make things a bit more cheaper. My mother can’t just keep wasting money for this! I’m in 4th grade and I know how to write a review with the correct punctuation, capitalization, and grammar and also, stuff like periods, explanation marks, question marks, semi colons, and more. Sooo if u mind, could u please respond to this? It would be an honor.
Fantastic learning tool. My kids, specifically my 5 year old, love SplashLearn. It holds their interest for quite awhile. They always ask to play SplashLearn. It makes learning fun for kids! I don’t always allow them to play on the computer or use apps for anything other than education so this is a great site for them. It bridges learning and fun. My 3 year old loves sitting and watching them play.
Fun way to learn. Originally we downloaded this program to supplement school work and help with some difficulties. My child fell in love with “playing” on the app, that she exceeded her own abilities and was moved into a different placement for math at school. I like that there are live classes which we take advantage of on snow days. My favorite feature is the emails about my child’s progress and accuracy while she uses the app.
