Scam. I’ve bought a weekly subscription but the service only worked for me for 1 day. Starting on the 2nd day the app keeps on requiring extra credits purchase. Nowhere in the legal agreement this practice is described. Tried emailing the developer - no reply. Will try to cancel the charge with my credit card company. So happy I didn’t buy a longer subscription from these scammers. Apple Store should investigate if it cares about customers enough

SCAM SCAM SCAM. This app is total rip off!! I bought the so called “lifetime membership” which said I could use the app forever - paid $50 - and then after making a few videos it is telling me I need to buy credits to make anything more. There was NO MENTION of this credit arrangement at all when buying the membership. There is also no way to know how many credits you have or have used. It is such a RIP OFF! I am sooo disappointed. This is a scam and the App Store should not make something like this available

Excessive Sensitive Information Issues. I downloaded this app to transform my grandmother’s old photos from the 1920’s through the 1960’s into videos. I was impressed by how realistic some of them came out with very little prompting, but other pictures I had to struggle to prompt and re-generate to get the people in the photos to do what I asked AI to do. The biggest problem that ticks me off with this app after spending $4.99 to use it at the highest tier is constantly getting “Sensitive Information” bounced back in all of my late grandfather and great uncles military photos from WWII and Korean War as well general family photos even when people are dressed and posing appropriately. Serving this country and standing proud in a military uniform should be no reason for these photos to be shot down by this app to animate. I will not be resubscribing after this week. Ridiculous I can’t see my military loved ones moving in real time at all, or a general picture of my grandparents posing with their arms around each other because AI thinks it’s sensitive information.

This app is great!. For everyone saying it doesn’t work- it’s true, it does have some bugs. When you generate videos, it gets you up to 100% and then stops. UNLESS you refresh the app (pull down on the video screen, like you’re refreshing Facebook or the like). Then it will show the finished video. I think they just need to fix a couple things. But it’s so great once the video generates! I’ve animated old family photos and the results are so perfect. Give it a go!

Emotional experience watching my family photos move. This app brought my old family photos to life in the most magical way. The animations were so real, it felt like I was watching my memories cọme alive.

Disappointed. The app worked great and did exactly what I was expecting. Only problem was everything I made had a Dreamona watermark on it and it wasn’t supposed to with pro and after one day it was telling me I need to buy credits. What’s the point of paying for pro if I still have to purchase credits? I contacted the company and still have no response. This is a scam!!! Too bad because I really like how easy it was to use.

All of the sudden i have to buy credits. I signed up for this app, it started great, barely any disfigurement and great quality, then all the updates came and now even with the subscription all of the sudden its asking me to buy credits. 100 credits for $89. Plus it doesn’t do all the things they claimed it does on the adds. I wish it could go back to the freedom we had about a month ago. Im kinda glad i didn’t buy the the lifetime sub.

Doesn’t work. Takes forever to load and then once it is at 100% it just stays at 100%. Never gives you the finished product. When swiping to refresh the page it says “the work is not ready for preview” and when you click on it it says “the work is not available for download”. When refreshing the app and shutting it down completely it just makes you redownload your video from the beginning and you still never actually get a video. Just restarts the cycle over. Waste of time and $5. Why would you promote an app on social media if you don’t have all the bugs worked out?

Amazing app. Wasn't working at first and was getting pop up notifications in a different language so I had no idea what it said . Working great now and at 4.99 a week it really is way way more inexpensive than other online image to video that I've tried and performs much much better than most all of them. But at this point I'd still be reluctant to pay for a yearly subscription or lifetime in case it would break again and I do think the developer should have some kind of contact info listed to earn people's trust since based on other reviews they are getting off to a really bad start. But I hope they improve because the app itself is amazing!!

Text to video like never before. I’ve never seen a tool that can turn text into video this well. It took my ideas and made them into a high-quality video.

Cannot get the app to work but half the time. Very clunky working app for about two days I’ve been trying to upload the same picture to where it only gets to 100% and never gives me a full photo to video rendering , it has worked before but then it seems as if it’s on and off most of the day to where you very seldom are able to get a real picture off their servers or however, it’s working because your picture will just render all day and never give it to you but yet you’re paying for it. I will find another app that Ashley works right 100% of the time instead of working 20% of the time.

SCAM ALERT: Only 1st video works. DO NOT DOWNLOAD, it is a scam. Firstly, they don’t give you a free trial. You pay immediately to use the functionality. Then when you unlock it, only the very first item you create actually works. Everything after that mysteriously gives a “work failed” message or a “work is not ready for preview” message. One of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Don’t waste your time or your money. Thank hod I chose the $4.99 option and not the “lifetime” option for $50.

Not as advertised. I had the 3 day trial but then also bought the weekly subscription anyway. Virtually everything I tested costed me an extra money from two very mid quality vids that cost me $1.99 each, and one decent quality vid that cost me $4.99. Paying almost $10 on top of the $5 subscription fee is ridiculous, even if the quality of the work given was consistently good. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more scammed by any app I’ve ever downloaded from the Apple Store. The subscription appears to be absolutely worthless and this app seems designed to hit you with death by a thousand cuts in the form of these microtransactions that they charge. I absolutely would NOT recommend, and I highly suspect the 5 star reviews may be paid for by the app.

Professional-level videos from text. I was blown away by how well this app converted my text into a video. The quality was so professional, it was like watching a movie.

Amazing app. Update: I was charged a unknowingly from this app and I did not consent to this purchase. This was not an accidental purchase and I have no idea where it came from. I requested a refund and was awarded it but can no longer make videos or restore my previous purchase. I reached out to the developers but no response. I really liked this app but the shoddy business practice makes me feel scammed. Avoid at all cost. I bought the lifetime version because I liked it so much. Pros: -Creates really fun videos from single photos that are really impressive. Great if you want to bring some life to old photos and feel some nostalgia. -Able to generate some good images(look up prompt suggestions online for high quality art) Cons: -You need to refresh your library section by pulling down on that page and then your video will populate after it hits 100% completion. This is not intuitive and I kept killing the app and re-opening it to find my video. This is a bug that will most likely get fixed Sidenote: I made so many videos I burned though my allotted “credits” for the day. This was concerning as a lifetime subscriber but just wait a few hours and you’ll be good to go again. Overall a good app for peopl getitng into AI video content creation.

Amazing text-to-video capabilities. This app effortlessly turned my text ideas into a high-quality video. I was blown away by how accurate and professional it looked.

Far from what’s advertised.. First of all, sensitivity filter is just plain stupid - makes no sense and gives no explanation. No nudity no kids on the picture - AI says it is too sensitive. But the kicker is - after 3 weeks of paying, app now says I must buy credits $89 worth because my plan does not support the app. Checked the billing, they are diligently charging me every week. Plus they want $89 for 100 credits. Fought with it for an hour. I gave up and discontinued subscription. (Did I mention photo to video results are not accurate either?).

Almost But Not Quite. The app does do the job it claims it can do, and refinement of photos, as well as improvement in output does happen with more specific prompts. However, I see no point in limiting output after one has already paid a full subscription. I created some dynamic photos and have been trying to improve output by improving prompts but after completing several revisions, the app refused to generate more photos until I paid for credits. This was not disclosed in the subscription specifications and I originally thought I could create without limits after paying for the full subscription. It’s like paying for a channel in your cable service and they end up charging you anyway for each movie you watch without telling you this was part of the deal beforehand 🙇🏻‍♀️😓. It just seems unethical.

False Advertising / Mediocre Production. I’m skeptical of the 5-star reviews for this app because after purchasing the “unlimited” pro version, it still demands more money for additional credits. Worse, the app doesn't even show you how many credits you have. After creating just four short, 5-second videos using my photos, I was already prompted to buy more credits. It seems like the “unlimited” aspect only applies to text prompts (I think), not when using your own images. The app is also glitchy—it often acts like it’s generating an image, but if you navigate away, the process appears paused. Sometimes refreshing makes it start over, or worse, it suddenly shows as "complete" even though it was barely at 1%. I suspect the long processing times are artificially inflated to slow things down and push you into paying more. There’s no option to queue your prompts, so you waste time waiting while being nudged to buy more credits. To top it off, the final videos look nothing like the previews—clunky, poorly stitched together, and of very low quality. It feels like a predatory app designed to squeeze money out of users. I'd recommend skipping it, and don’t be swayed by the overly positive reviews.

Awful Experience. This is one of the worst ai app I have ever tried. The video would not work at all, and the images were very poor quality. This app would not let me do most of what it claimed to do. On top of it all, it is very slow on my iPhone even when I am hooked up to wifi. I am very disappointed and out of $4.99. There are several free app that are better quality, but even ChatGPT messes up. I hope it will not take years before we see quality ai images

Horrible interface. I bought an annual subscription in October, and after I run out of credits, not only it did not automatically renewed, but also the app kept getting frozen when starting it up. I had to uninstall and re-install again, and now it does not recognize my membership. Also, I bought the annual subscription to avoid watermarks, but the renders I did still had it on them.

Do not subscribe!! It’s a scam!. Thankfully I subscribed only for 1 week. AI videos are not working, just created 1 video and says insufficient funds, and need to top up. It was scary to see that an Arabic male appeared in my video instead of the person from my picture!! Can’t create anything else and it was installed for less than 39 minutes, with a single and failed video. AVOID THIS APP! It’s like any other thing from China!!

Bringing my family photos to life was magical. The app made my old photos move like real videos, and it felt like my family was with me again. The animations were perfect.

Pass. First off, if you want it to not take 5 hours to render, you pay for the pro version. Which I did. THEN I realized you also have to pay for every pic you animate. So that sucked. On top of that, the app is insanely unstable. 90% of the time, it fails and doesn’t render and you have to do it all over again. Or it will say server busy and you can’t even start. The whole thing is a train wreck.

I can’t get anything to upload. I’ve had one photo upload successfully and did the muscle man picture but the face didn’t even look like me. Any other picture I try to upload gives me an error and says try again. Waste of time and money.

A Scam as others have mentioned.. I paid for just a week (fortunately) and just using it one night, less than half the photos I uploaded actually animated, a 5 second clip. Most photos either failed to process, with no chance to retry, and other photos finished and were not animated; just the photo slightly zooming in, no changes or movement of the person or people. Also I see a message after their failure that a credit will still be charged! I didn’t even know credits were needed after subscribing, plus nowhere in the app shows what credits you have, or any explanation of that sneaky scam tactic. After several photos failed, I tried one more and I get a message “insufficient credits.” So. Even if you subscribe, you will still have to replenish “credits” ( unbeknownst to the user) and they are not cheap. I did get some decent results with a few old photos; but there are typical AI glitches. The entire App is flawed and the lack of documentation (last updated December 2023) that thoroughly explains the subscription price and how credits must still be purchased. Nice concept but this company is ripping people off!

Scam / Miss Information. I bought the lifetime subscription and after using the app a few times with decent results, now when I try use the app it says I need to buy tokens or pay a 1 time fee to use a different feature. (Update) Everyone who got scammed by this misleading app needs to ask for a refund… Apple needs to investigate apps before allowing them in the app store, letting people spend their hard earned money and getting ripped off.

Disappointed but still hopeful. I am giving this app a 3 star review. Here’s why…. Please allow me to begin by saying I truly feel this app has *all* the potential in the world and shows a lot of promise. However, I can’t overlook the fact that around 75-80% of my attempted videos fail and don’t get made. It’s very frustrating because the app appears to be working fine, creating images right up until the very end, but then after waiting 10-12 minutes, it fails. No video created. If this was an isolated incident. U might be able to overlook it, but it’s way too frequent. I also know for certain it’s not my internet connection or speed causing the issue, so I really wish I had a better understanding of why, out of 12 attempted videos, only 4 were completed. That being said, I do feel the need to say…the 4 videos that were created once finished, were absolutely stunning! If the success rate improves, this app could easily be a 5-star experience. Thank you.

Best app for creating moving memories. Watching my family photos move again was an emotional experience. The animations were so real, and it felt like I was back in those moments.

Worked great 1 time, then ran into issues. App worked great once. I tried after, never generated videos from pictures again. It would load 100 percent than fail. I paid the 4.99 week package and they charged me 1.99 additionally on two attempts that ultimately failed. I dunno if this is a poor interface or if something else. My advice is find another AI app until this gets fixed.

No trial option.. Cannot review the features for myself before purchasing. Because of that, there is no way to verify its stability and performance. I do like that there is an option for one time purchase fee (although somewhat pricey at $50), but there is no way to test the features before purchasing. I don’t know the company, so I’m unsure if a weekly subscription signup or any purchase can be trusted.. especially since there are mixed reviews. The weekly sub price is $5 - that’s $20-$25/month depending on the month. That makes no legitimate sense. Offer a 3 day trial and people may feel more comfortable with your company and products. Also, your trust score could go up if you actually responded to reviews. When I’m reading through the reviews, I’m not seeing any responses to complaints and that’s a red flag for me. I do wish I could’ve tried this out cause it looks very promising.

Free Generation. I tried the app again when it offered free credits for new users. However, it didn’t work so can you please allow unlimited credits for free, but make the generation time longer for example 5 minutes versus generating in less than a minute. Please fix as this app is unusable unless you pay big bucks which a lot of people can’t afford

Still charging for every video ($1.99) despite having a pro subscription. I’ve tried cancelling and resubscribing, the only fix I’ve found is to click “restore purchase” before trying to generate a new video - that only works half the time and you have to keep doing it after every video/image generated What’s is the pro subscription paying for if I still have to pay $2 per video - and sometimes that video doesn’t even show up in my library, so $2 for nothing :( I’ll correct my review once the glitches are fixed The app makes great content and is the best video generating app quality-wise that I’ve found

Paid and still unusable!. Sensitivity filter is ridiculous. If I’m an adult user that’s paying for this app on a weekly basis, I should be able to process my own original photos, regardless of the content. But if a model has a large chest, even if she’s wearing a sweater, it flags it and won’t proceed. That’s clear discrimination. Even photos that are as vanilla as possible often get flagged as highly sensitive. Who are you trying to protect? These are photos I took of family and friends, and some clients that I work with. I will be cancelling my subscription since this app doesn’t think I’m able to determine for myself what is appropriate or not. Waste of money and time!

A few problems. I paid the one time fee of $50 for lifetime access to this app. Despite this, I cannot access the template section without paying a separate fee of $1.99 per item created. Then I tried making a picture of a tarot card laying on a table amongst Halloween decor for the holiday. It gave me a Christian cross instead. This app needs a lot of work but I think it has good potential later down the road.

Frustrating app. The first couple of photos I turned into videos were good. Then I tried to edit a photo of someone wearing a bathing suit and it www considered “sensitive information”. Also I tried to animate photos of I posing with my grandmother wearing full clothes and it was xknskdredd “sensitive information”. It took forever to animate some photos and it kept saying, “network busy please try again later”. So annoying. I do not recommend this app.

They will charge you and after some edits they will ask for more money. First of all after you pay is supposed to process faster It will not, you will still see get premium after you pay and will treat you like of it was free then after like 9 edits they will ask for more money to keep editing or use a different style this is very shady. The restore purchase doesn’t work.

Works well but credit system is unclear. I like the image to video functionality but I was only able to create maybe 8 videos before it said I needed to top off my credits. There was no information about a credit system even I paid 4.99 for a week subscription. And even when it asks you to top off, it is not clear how credits are tracked or how many are used when you create something. Will I get more credits when it renews in a week? I have no idea but I would like to continue using the service.

Not honest, stay away from this.. Just now try weekly. 90% features are doesn’t work. When I try to create avatar, pop up a notification that I have to pay the same amount as weekly, I click cancel. But still they charged me then the avatar I’ve tried is failed.

Total scam. The videos are absolutely terrible (although I admit I wasn’t expecting much). Subscription cost $7.99 AUD, even though it is advertised for $4.99. Despite being subscribed and the pro description stating that I’d receive unlimited features, after just 5 videos I am now required to pay a further $2.99 per video. Absolute rip off. Save your money.

Dreamona helped me create beautiful postcards. I recently visited Quebec City and wanted to create postcards from my photos. Dreamona allowed me to add artistic touches to make them perfect for friends and family back home. I’m so happy with how they turned out!

Dreamona is my go-to for social media posts. I always use Dreamona to edit my photos before posting them on Instagram. Whether it’s my daily cọmmute in Toronto or a weekend getaway in the mountains, this app makes everything look amazing.

Not worth it fake subscription and ai. First ai generation is good and then after buying it’s all horrible. Scam. Do not use or purchase at all. Hope they fix this or something.

Unuseable. Not sure how it is if you pay, but without paying it takes many minutes to generate anything (so hard to know if it’s worth it) - and it seems to only work if you are actively in the app which is confusing since its obviously generating using an api and not on the device….and therefore shouldn’t be limited to time in app to complete unless the devs added a timer in. Feels like a money grab which is unfortunate as it seems to be decent creations. Not worth it. Uninstall.

Misleading advertising. I paid 50 dollars for the lifetime full access membership to the app and I can only use two of the templates available for video. Every other template asks for an additional charge to use. I’ve emailed about this with no response. This is misleading and feels like fraud to be honest. Nowhere does it state you wouldn’t have full access with the lifetime one time membership fee.

Does not work. I typically try not to write bad reviews, but this app has no trial. I paid the $4.99 to test it out, and have tried to create multiple videos from current videos and have even waited over night, but it just says, “This work is not ready for preview” then when you reset it just deletes the work from the library.

It replaced their faces with random AI characters, and then the “video” was a static picture that the camera panned over, Ken Burns style, so it wasn’t even a video. Don’t waste your money! App Does not work as expected. This app does not work as advertised. It takes 30-40 mins to generate a 12 second clip. Most of the times it gives you an error that it’s not ready or couldn’t create the video. In rare cases that it did, it’s max of 12 seconds and the images don’t even move as they advertise it. Very buggy and scammy app.

False advertisement. I bought the $50 package. Once downloaded, I wasn’t able to do hardly anything without buying super expensive credits.
