great learning tool!. I have been reading cards for 4 years consistently, and this deck has taught me something new. Love the wizardly spin, especially about the moon and the elements. The app itself is also pretty amazing as far as the built in book is concerned. I downloaded this yesterday and went back to buy a 2nd deck (the combined druid cards). love it :-)

Loving my lessons at the Mandrake Academy.. It's like I finally got my acceptance letter to the magical school of my dreams. The authors' description of the Tarot using Mandrake Academy as the Universe is a magical concept. The cards are well described and inspiring. While the artwork is perfectly subtle while sticking closely to traditional scenes. I hope to see more from the Mandrake Academy, as I am a long time student of cartomancy and cleromancy. It would be nice to see a runic influence as well.

My very favorite!. After downloading and using several (my favorite are all from the Fools Dog) the Wizards Tarot fits me better than any. The cards are beautiful which makes it easy to be pulled into gazing more deeply to find meanings not obvious on the first impression, but more than that it's the rightness of the text that sings to me.

Okay, but the meaning are too ephemeral. I would prefer more definitive meanings for the cards. Most of us are just not that psychic and the Tarot is our path for connecting to that world. Someone needs to spend some time clarifying the card meanings for " the rest of us".

Oh yes!. Really great Tarot App! It has a lot more features and a greater depth to readings than most.

Gorgeous artwork. I really enjoy the artwork but I notice I keep getting the same cards over and over. I’m not sure if that’s because of a glitch in the app. I also like the lessons I get with my readings!

The Wizard's Tarot app is WONDERFUL!. Every app I have purchased by The Fool's Dog has been an awesome purchase. They provide one card readings which is all I need sometimes. And the artwork is just as fantastic as the real deck. This app is totally worth it!

Best deck ever. Like other reviewers this particular deck really called out to me. It is really in tune to my vibration. The artwork is beautiful and love the text to explain the symbology of the cards. I love this deck.

Beautiful as well as useful. I have both this app and the physical deck. It's super for when those times you can't bring a deck with you. I connect with decks that aren't specifically traditional. Between the differences and the art it's a perfect fit for me.

An amazing app. I love the images of the wizards tarot deck, and the zoom feature In this app is amazing. There is so much detail and complexity in the symbols. The descriptions that accompany the cards are excellent. It's nice to be able to get both short and long explanations of the Images. Best of all, the readings are accurate. The cards are dead on. You can tell that everyone involved in the creation of this deck is a top-notch professional.

not quite what I expected, but still.... I thought the paintings would all be as graceful as the cover art. Some of it is. But I was taken aback by the court cards for the Pentacles portion. The Queen and King of Pentacles, especially, look slovenly, mean-spirited and sullen. In fact, just now, AFTER I had handwritten this review, I read the text that goes with the King and even the author admits that he looks sullen. I don't get it. There's a lot to like elsewhere in this deck. Why would the people who created and/or produced this deck choose this direction for this one group of cards? The rest of the deck seems beautiful and/or interesting, and offers advice that seems somewhat different than other decks.

The Fool's Dog has thought of everything — again. Like all of the Fool's Dog Tarot apps, this one is beautifully put together. The cards are nothing short of stunning as rendered here. The photorealism is almost three dimensional. The features of the app are simply amazing. You can pick a spread or create your own and keep a journal of your readings. You can revisit a past reading and add to your notes. You can even pick your own background and set it as a default. One caveat I would give to beginner Tarot readers is that this deck does not provide a lot of direction with regard to the meanings of the cards in a spread. Rather, the text accompanying each card is mostly descriptive. It is helpful to already have some grounding in the meanings of the original Rider-Waite cards before using this deck for a reading. That said, this deck would be a very good one to use as a way to study Tarot, as the symbols used on the cards are multi-layered, and much helpful additional information is provided in the accompanying book. All of the Fool's Dog Tarot apps are thoughtfully put together; the creators have thought of just about everything you could possibly want, and more besides. Well worth the price for the afficionado and the beginner alike, especially considering that you get the complete book that accompanies the deck in its entirety.
