Bug Fixes & Stability
This is the worst app I have encountered. Endless loops of messages every ten minutes and no way to stop them from sending. Friends and customers have had to block me to stop getting them. Deleting the app did not help. You have to reset your phone to get them to stop. No customer service. Verizon you should stop offering this immediately!
I use this app to send SMS messages on my iPad when my non-Apple phone isn’t nearby. Besides the obvious of not syncing with iMessage, this also doesn’t sync with native message apps on Android phones. I receive replies in both this app and my native messaging apps but my sent messages only appear in whatever messaging app I send them from. It’s also annoying how if I read a message in iMessage or any other messaging app, they still show up as unread in Message+. So for those expecting the same versatility of iMessage across devices, you have to go all in with this app. If you prefer your phone’s native messaging app, be prepared for the lack of sync.
I used to be able to use this app, but for over a year now, every time I open the app it crashes. I keep checking for updates but there are none. Please fix so I can access the app!!
Requires a code to be texted, then validated, but will not validate through the app. Don't waste your time, just use Facetime or FB Messenger.
Buggy and unreliable, but does work sometimes.
Great app when it works. However, for at least the last six months, it has been crashing every time I try to type a message. Reading works fine but as soon as I start to type, down it goes. Full disclosure, I'm on an iPad mini 4 with iOS 12 beta installed, but it's the only app that I have trouble with. Honestly though, given how *not* different the beta is from the standard version, I honestly don't see how that can be the problem.
Works good, easy to use and sometimes, it’s easier and faster to send messages on this app when iMessage is acting up. 🙃
This would have been the greatest app ever if it worked properly. I use this to link my business and personal devices so that I carry my business phone and have my virtual personal phone on the same device. However, “many” text messages don’t go through. Most phone calls are very unclear for the person on the other line. Many times there is a delay before I can hear the person on the other side of the wire. To sum it up, Verizon or their app developers has some work to do to turn this into a reliable useful app. I hope they read this and fix all those issues soon.
The badge number on the app doesn’t decrease after checking text messages. With new texts, the number keeps going up. The badge shows 27 new texts even though I have checked all of them.
I get incoming messages but can't send.
