Great!. Got my VERY resistant to potty training 2.5 yr old grandson to use the potty successfully right after purchasing! This child didnt even want to sit on a potty or toilet and in fact seemed to have a strong aversion to it. Using this app, prizes and praise seemed to finally do the trick. Good job developers! Definitely recommend this app.

Fun to Hear Elmo. My son loves this app and especially gets excited hearing Elmo talk and read the story. Very fun and a good way to help him learn about going potty.

Fantastic app!. Super easy to use, and my son loves it! He loves the puzzles, the interactive book, and he really loves the rewards poster where he can click that he used the potty and washed his hands. Only thing I would like is more room for the potty time stickers and for them to be saved once you leave that page. It's a little frustrating to keep putting them back in when little fingers miss buttons and accidentally erase info from earlier. Otherwise a great app!

Best thing I have ever experienced in my life. It was life changing. (First of all, this has sound, and Elmo's name is said.) This was the best app I have ever downloaded in my history of owning apple products for 3 years. After I played this app, it opened up new doors for me. I saw life differently. Things didn't seem so gray. I was a whole new person. I am now always upbeat and happy. It was the most memorable, life changing experience since Jack died in the titanic. (I mean seriously, freaking Kate Winslet could've moved over I mean they could have both fit on the piece of debris. Is it just me, or did Jack not have to die?) I am now singing to the top of my lungs every song every second of every day. The story line was moving, the songs touching, and the puzzles emotional. I loved the sticker rewards chart. I am planning on trying out for American idol and singing on the audition, "Flush goes the potty" it's one of the best songs on the app. This is the best creation mankind has ever invented, and will always be honored. If you want a great, life changing experience, buy this app.

Potty Time With Elmo Review. My almost three year-old brother loves this application. It keeps him busy for about 15 - 20 minutes every time he wants to use it. He really enjoys making the puzzles, and when he gets a piece in the wrong space, he gets it right the next time. He likes when I earn the stickers for him. He really enjoys the songs in the soundtrack, in which he dances to. In advance, I have nothing bad to say about this application.

Total disappointment and not worth the money, time, or effort.. Potty Time with Elmo is a total disappointment and not worth the money, time, or effort. I really love ABCs with Elmo and the Elmo Calls and this is a waste of space. There is another app called It's Potty Time that is better. This one is so uninvolved and boring. I am really surprised that Sesame Street would have such a useless app when so much that they have is great.

Wow. So at first I thought this was silly and without any real animation thought my son would not be interested. However, he went through the book several times and loves the little puzzles. Then, amazingly after playing with the app for two days my 2.5 year old son walked into the bathroom, let me know what he had to do and used the potty for the first time! Go Elmo!

Helped me. I know it's not gonna help everyone. It didn't help me until I used it as a bribe for the kid. At first it was a story with games, then it was only something he could play with if he used the potty. That was the more effective approach. Worth the buck, if it saves on diapers.

I won't "poo-poo" this app!!. I bought this app for my niece who is potty training. She loved it! Elmo looks great our iPad! Catchy songs and cute animations. The potty reward chart will be very helpful. We love Sesame and this is a wonderful potty training tool. Great stuff!

Disappointing. My 2 year old daughter loves Elmo so I was very excited when I found this app! However, that excitement was quickly following by disappointment when I launched the app and pressed play and didn't hear Elmo's voice! My daughter did not care for the voice of the woman reading the stories...nor did I! Also, the man singing the songs sounded a little creepy...my daughter wouldn't even let the whole song play before she asked me to "turn it off mommy!" Only get this app if it is FREE!!

Son loved it!!!. I had previously giving this app 1 star because I couldn't hear anything. I actually went to the developers website and tried a couple of the suggestions and got it to work!!! Thank you.

My son loves it! Fun and engaging app!. After using the app for one day, it got my 20 mo son interested in potty training again. We had to go back a few steps because he lost interest a few weeks ago. We started at 18 mo because he asked. My son loved following along with the story and interacting with the objects on the page. He laughed when he touched the elmo icons and elmo talked back to him. He also enjoyed finding new stickers in the story by touching objects on the page. I like the reward system a lot. The music is cute....a nice companion to this elmo potty song book we have. My son especially liked interacting with the radio to play the songs since he loves music and dancing. The puzzles are a nice feature. He still doesn't get dragging images on a screen yet, but i think he will eventually learn the art of drag and drop. Great for older kids in training though. I like that this app includes potty training tips too! Final thoughts: Great app for potty training! It kept my son busy and interested in the potty again...that deserves 5 stars alone....hooray!

Nephew loves it!. My nephew LOVES this app and my niece is already showing interest even though it’s not potty training time for her yet :)

Not with the money. I realize it just a few dollars but it really wasn’t worth it for me. It got my son to sit on the potty to play it but there isn’t a lot to do. He got bored with it very fast.

No volume. I purchased this book for my 2 yer old son who has shown very little interest in potty training. He seemed to like it and played the songs and puzzles frequently but now there is NO volume. He cannot listen to the story or the songs and has completely lost interest. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app with no improvement. I hope this bug is fixed soon or this will be the last app I purchase from this developer. Very dissatisfied!

Thank you, Elmo!. Wow! I love this APP. I do an incredible amount of babysitting for friends and family and I'm always at a loss on how to help them out when it comes time for potty training and now Elmo is here to help us out! Between the rewards, the songs and Elmo's giggle I am hopeful potty training will no longer be an issue in our households... Thank you, Elmo!

The Greatest. My son started playing with this app one week before his third birthday. WELL the proof is in the pudding... He is completely trained one week later. This app has never given us any problems.. I am one grateful mom

Sound. Everyone complaining about no sound. Delete it and redownload . The sound worked the second time for me

Disappointed :-/. This moves very slow and my 16 month old loses interest immediately. He has more fun shaking my bottle of mouthwash. He loves the monster at the end of the book apps, I wish there were more of those types of interactive and character voiced apps available. Guess we will stick to those while waiting on the potty.

Cute App. This is so cute for toddlers that are going through this process. My granddaughter was kept busy by trying this app out over and over I had to ask her do YOU have to go potty? She looked at me in surprise and ran to the bathroom! Make sure you monitor their time with this app!

She loves it. This is a nice ap. My almost 3 year old really enjoys it. Loves the puzzles especially and enjoys the story. She also likes getting the "virtual" sticker. It's been a great aid. Elmo's voice appears just enough. I'm actually glad it's not entirely him speaking. About the sound, make sure your mute or vibrate button isn't turned on. I forget my iphone has it on the side sometimes. I did the same thing. ;)

Love it. The app has sound so I don't know what the other ppl are talking bout. This app is awesome. I'm wking on potty training my son. He loves to watch the story play. The potty chart is helpful. Saves me $ on buying one from the store. This app is worth the $.

A little expensive for what you get. We have the interactive book for Elmo's potty time and I have to say I like that a little better. This really isn't much more than that. There are a few songs, but they are just words printed with sound. Nothing animated. The basic premise of Elmo and potty time are wonderful - but I think this should have been a .99 cent app.

Dissatisfied. Little interaction, didn't seem to engage my child as she is used to the level of interaction and quality offered by the dr. Suess books. Song quality is poor and the words don't high-light so that the child will follow along. Sure, it was a buck but I would rather pay more for better quality.

It worth the money!. This app did not hold my child’s interest at all. She did a couple of puzzles and that was it. The story is boring and she quickly turned it off. How can they even justify the $2.99. It should be free!

Great app!. At first I thought the sound didnt work but then I realize my phone was on vibrate. Oops! Tons a fun little interactive things, different options for reading, and a potty training sticker book.

Once worked like magic. My son & I loved this app. The sound effects and illustrations are really cute. After initial installation, it worked beautifully. Now the illustrations and pages move but there's absolutely no sound whatsoever. No sound effects, no narration, only moving pictures. Fix this if possible.

He just asked me to wash my hands!. Been teaching him to wash up after potty time but the little stinky buns is now remembering to do it on his own and telling me to do it too!!! Hello can I finish my potty time first!? ;) Thanks Elmo <3

Good. This is a good recreation of the book as an app. More book plus extras than a game. Simple actions appropriate for a toddler. Hidden animations a nice addition. Thought sound wasn't working, but double checked the mute switch.

Happy mom. I too had difficulty with the sound when I first downloaded this, however as soon as I switched the sound button(ringer switch) to 'on', it worked perfectly. Just wanted to let others know in case their ringer was turned off.

Not worth 2.99. This is simply not worth 2.99! Should be a free app. It reads the same book over and over. It’s boring for my 2 year old! Everything is repetitive and didn’t occupy her once so ever. I requested my money back!

Cute story, songs, and stickers. The potty story is super cute, and there's fun stuff to touch and hear in each scene. The toilet handle makes a flush sound, the radio plays songs, etc. Elmo doesn't read the story but he talks when you touch the little Elmo buttons, fill out the reward chart, or finish a puzzle. My son just started potty training and this app helps get him excited about potty time!

Meehhh just barely okay. Boring. Doesn’t really have a lot of bells and whistles. Needs an interactive face that a toddler can run by himself. Not very engaging.

Wonderful app; worth the small cost!. My children love this app. It’s engaging and fun for both my potty-training 19 month old and already-trained 4 year-old. They enjoy listening to Elmo read, collecting the “stickers,” watching little animations within the story, singing the songs, and our 4yo plays the games. Songs are delightful and reward chart so helpful to reinforce potty steps. Parent tips are icing on the cake!

No Sound. Although this book's description indicates there should be sound there is no sound, and when I contacted the publisher they responded it should not have sound. I have sound on other Sesame Street eBooks and Dr. Seuss eBooks and I have followed all the troubleshooting guides with no success in obtaining sound. I would suggest to anyone considering buying this book to delay your purchase until this problem is fixed.

Waste of $2.99!. This is not a story my child will want to read more than once- it was barely held interest the first time. Extremely disappointed.

Good teaching tool. My 18 month son loves this app. You can choose to read the book yourself or have it read by a narrator, and there are one or two things you can touch to animate them on each page. If you are looking for an interactive app that will entertain your child without your help, you will probably be somewhat disappointed. But if you are looking for help teaching your child to use the toilet, this is a great little app. My baby loves the songs and little puzzles, and when he's a little better at making it to the toilet I'm sure the sticker page will be very helpful.

Why does this cost money??. I thought this was the potty game where you help Elmo and Abby to use the potty. It is not. There is a Pop the Bubbles game a 1 year old can get use from. A 4 piece puzzle game, again 1 year old level. And something about Elmo walking. Like, seriously why are we paying money for this when nothing is on it?!

Usually Good, What Happened to the Sound?. My daughter has loved this since I got it about a year ago, but all the sudden there's no sound. Hoping its fixed soon, what's the point without music and noises? A potty-training child can't read. :( Otherwise this is normally at least a 4 star app! Please do another upgrade to fix the issue. The sound DOES work...you need to unmute your device. I was surprised that it wasn't Elmo's voice but my kids liked it. When I first downloaded it, I thought there was no sound in both my Ipad 2 and my Iphone 3. Then, duh, I realized I had both devices on mute. Once I toggled the outside little switch above the volume button to the off position, everything worked fine.

Cute and easy. This is a cute story with fun songs. What I liked best were the activities, especially the sticker activity because it gave my son a fun way to record every "try." Don't know why some people say there's a sound issue-- they must have the mute button on because the sound is awesome.

Great songs.. My granddaughter loves pressing the radio and hearing the songs. It helps her ask to go and I sing the songs to her throughout the day.

Elmo doesn't narrate. I expected ELMO to take us through the story with HIS voice, but it is 90% a woman's voice that narrates. Kids want to hear Elmo. Then, songs happen too often with some annoying man singing every minute. My son lost interest. More Elmo please. No animation, just static art. Fun pictures, but the story gets old within 5 minutes. Do not expect this to solve potty training problems.

DO NOT UPDATE, DONT BUY. This used to be one of our favorites but then came the update... The new update: -removed the “just watch” option which my infant loved. Why remove? My LO (little one) would be hypnotized they the whole thing. Now she just gets stuck and bored. -removed fun phrases like “Elmo knows what to do”, random flushes, Elmo laughing, Star sounds and more. -Re-recorded phrases using a seeming “drugged up” super slow Elmo. Happy Elmo was far superior! -added a female character which is blends in very poorly. It’s like someone shouting during your favorite song and ruining it. How about her own pages instead of sloppily throwing her in? In summary, I wish so much I didn’t update. Unfortunately Apple gives no option to roll back or money back when the product is negatively changed.

Elmo does not narrate. Disappointed that Elmo's voice does not narrate the story. App/Storybook would be a bigger hit and would go over better and intrigue its users way more if Elmo's voice was heard. As is, I would only pay <= $1.99 for this app a second time around. Cute concept though..

Great App!!. Potty training is always a challenging time for both parents and kids. This app is so helpful... from the cute story to the catchy songs to the reward chart. My daughter loves playing with the app and I love the helpful content! Win-win!

Great Potty Training Story. Help Elmo teach Baby David about the potty! This is an interactive book with 3 modes of play in story mode - Read and Play, Listen and Play, and Just Watch. There are lots of fun songs to help you along the way, and these can be easily carried over to real time potty training every step of the way, along with realistic sounds and visuals. What I like about this app is that it addresses going to the potty as a natural routine, and does not linger on the points of pulling the toilet paper out, out, and out as well as pushing the flusher. Hygiene and then an "All Done" with the reinforcer of cool looking undies follow. There is also a sticker chart to further reinforce progress, and you are able to set and reset as often as you like, to get the most out of this app over time. "Potty Puzzles" - a side game, will help keep your emergent potty user invested. There is a nice parent tip section on potty training as well as a comprehensive help section. Access to this is non secured. The only suggestion I would give is that to eliminate the "easter eggs" for stickers in the story as I feel this contributes to not really listening to the story, but endless poking at objects on a page. I would rather see the rewards being for listening to the story rather than tapping on some random item.

Awesome potty resource!. My son would wear undies at school but not at home & then would have accidents. After playing with this app, he wanted to wear solely undies & loves them! He likes the songs (yes, there is sound despite what another reviewer said!) & the puzzles. If this app got my STUBBORN potty-trainer going, it will work for yours!

Misleading. I thought the Elmo would be talking and singing the songs, or at least me animated. Disappointing.

Miss. I brought this against advise in the previous written reviews. The problem with sound is actually he your iPad is set up. The app offers help on how to fix it. My daughter struggles going to the toilet in public facilities, the story and play makes it fun for her and the sticker chart gives her a sense of achievement.

Fantastic!. After downloading this my 2year6month old was toilet trained (day time) in 3 days! She loved touching the radio to hear the songs and touching the other images on the screen to get more sticker choices. Whilst the songs are not sung by elmo they are still good. My only suggestion would be to increase the my potty chart. I have to delete her previous stickers multiple times during the day as 3 lines is not enough.

Elmo request. I was excited when I saw this potty training app that has Elmo. We just use the little auto read book. My son finds it entertaining. The potty sticker chart isn't very useful... Kids want real stickers.

Awesome. Great app, used it with my son and niece they both love it even after potty training was done. The sound does work, I think the other person who posted had it on mute or app sounds too low. There's the book with sounds, sticker chart, funny songs, and puzzles that are not hard but cute. Ages were 2 and 3 years old. The only thing, it would be a bonus if they had an option for boys and girls since baby David is a boy. Also sticker chart is a bit easy for kids to go in and take on and off, maybe a parent password to keep them from adding/removing stickers :)

Just okay. My son loves Elmo and I had high expectations. There is not much to this app. Just pictures of Elmo, a button which you press to get a sentence or two from Elmo, a narrator, and a few songs. I also have Potty Training Time and feelmot is much better.

Not animated. Disappointed - not nearly in the same calibre as Monster at the end of the book, since the characters are not animated and interactive. My son played with it maybe 2 minutes before losing interest.

No good. Like others have said, Elmo doesn't use the potty - it's his doll. You hear a woman's voice narrarate, not Elmo's. There is one story and it takes time to find the correct page that pertains to your child either going or not going to the potty. I am using the Pull-Ups timer along with other free apps to keep my 2.8 year old ocupied on potty. This Elmo app was a total waste of money.

Very disappointed. This app is very simple. There is not much going on on the screen during the story. There are very few animations. I wish that I could have tried this app before buying it. I would not recommend this app.

Not great. Elmo's picture is on 3 different pages but he doesn't speak its a women's voice and Elmo isn't using the potty it's his doll. My kid loves Elmo and app couldn't keep his attention more than 30 seconds

Using with Thing 2!. This was a hit with Thing 1 so just redownloaded for #2. Fingers crossed it'll do the trick again. Some of the pictures and songs crack me up.

😡. I purchased this app bc my 2yo daughter loves Elmo and thought it would be great for her. Boy, was I wrong! I cannot get the sound to work so she got frustrated and lost interest very fast. Not what I expected. A disappointing dull app that is not interactive. It also features adult-sized toilet instead of toddler-sized training potty. I find the board books we have at home more educational than this app.

Disappointed. Thought the app looked great, purchased and have been greatly disappointed. The narration should be Elmo's voice and it's not. The song is kind of creepy, might not be so bad if Elmo was singing it. Not happy at all.

Bad idea - bad build - not helpful. There's no animation, only static images with moderately bad voice overs. No instruction on potty time. No scenes showing how to use the potty. Just overall, a very bad use of the Elmo license. #fail

Sound stopped working. The title is self-explanatory. The sound worked for the first few weeks. No it doesn't. I've tried every troubleshooting idea I can think of including deleting and re-downloading the app.

No volume. This was a huge waste of money. No volume on any setting. Even the interaction without sound seems pointless for a child needing motivation for potty training. Don't waste your time

Eh. This would have been loads better if elmo was the one actually using the potty, instead it is his bear, 'David,' that is the potty person. My kids don't really pay attention because of that.

Horrible!. Bought this app for my 2 year old. Sound doesn't work and contact information for developer is no where to be found.

DO NOT BUY. this app should be 100% free. It has interactivity an no Elmo voice. When my son who is only 16 mths an can immediately recognized Elmo's voice in the "Monster at the End of This Book". Never once said Elmo's name and within five minutes was closing the app continuously!!!!

Terrible. Pathetic waste of money! Sounds do not work and animation is slow. Obviously thrown together with the hope that unsuspecting parents of toddlers would buy it just bc Elmo was thrown in. Do not buy this one!

No Sound. This app used to work fine and then all of a sudden there is no sound. From the reviews it seems like I am not the only one with this problem.

Good sound. I like the songs and story while we sit and wait. He even sings the songs with it. Good potty app!

Disappointing. The app has few animations, an uninspiring story and the narrator has a nondescript voice and monotonous tone - definitely not Elmo. Disappointing considering the other Sesame Street apps. I would not recommend this app.

Not what I was expecting.. After purchasing other Sesame street apps and loving them, I assumed this one would be relatively the same. Boy, was I wrong! My son dislikes this book greatly, mostly because it isn't interactive and the authors voice is dull. If I has anyway of asking for my money back, I would.

Elmo's voice would have been nice. My bay doesn't seem to interested because it an authors voice not Elmo's and they don't move around like monsters at the end of the book

Totally useless. I just bought this app. No sound on iPad it's not my iPad either- every other app works. I tried to contact them though website an it just says "Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact administrator by other way."
