99.9 The Fan!. I love this app!! Now I can finally listen to Chuck Kaiton's play by play on 99.9 The Fan when the Canes are on the road and I'm not near a TV! Tried it this weekend while I was out of town and it worked perfectly! Thank you WRAL!!

The Fan is the best!. Exactly what a hometown sports station should be. Adam Gold and Joe Ovies are phenomenal at what they do!

Great until iOS 5. Used to love this app because I live outside the broadcast range but since iOS 5 I can listen to it anymore because it stops when you background the app or when the screen blacks out. Please fix the problem!!!!

App has gotten worse. I listen to this app EVERY DAY - for mist of the day. Over the last few months- it’s gotten worse - especially the last couple of weeks. It disconnects frequently each day and I’ve had to reinforce 3 times. I’m having these issues on an iPhone.

New App is Horrible!. I'm in an office with no radio reception so I have to rely on your worthless app. It crashes at least 10 times every afternoon. VERY frustrating! No other streaming apps I use have this problem.

Below average. Sports stories are often outdated - e.g. today is Wed. and still have stories from Saturday. No story on the Canes game or the World Series game from night before Also, streams often cut-out and have to reload (phone has not changed position and wireless signal is strong). One plus is the columns that are written by various contributors.

Needs update for new iOS. App totally broken on iOS 9.3

Solid app. I use this app to stream the local sports stations. It's the most consistent stream I use regularly. Simple, straightforward, but reliable.

Great for following NC teams. App is much improved with update. Scores, schedules, video, blogs, tweets. It's all good. This is how I listen to Adam and Joe and David Glenn.

Feed way behind!. I love having the app to listen (since I live outside Raleigh) but the app feed is so ridiculously behind the normal radio feed. I know there will be a delay but there shouldn't be that much of a delay! Please fix in a future release!

Crash app!. This app constantly crashes when I’m in the midst of just trying to check scores. Or read an article. Or anything. Happens EVERY TIME. With all the money WRAL makes, you’d think they’d get a competent app programmer. Don’t bother with this app. Just check Yahoo Sports or any other functional app.

Love the WSF App. The WralSportsFan App is great, it's easy to navigate and is up to date with all the sports news. The game scores are much easier to keep up with than the ESPN app and the radio stream sounds awesome. All of the videos are HD quality, definitely recommend downloading it - not to mention its free!

Doesn't continuously play. Its terrible now i use to workout this app now it keeps fading out. Terrible

Awesome. All my local sports in one app

Good content, Terrible App. Moved away from NC but like listening to the local coverage of the NC teams/schools. Try to listen through the app on my drive home everyday but the app constantly freezes, or doesn’t load at all and won’t begin. Also, the updates podcast section is garbage. Change it back to the old look that was easier to read.

Better since update but needs more work. Latest update made it work much better on the iPhone 5. However it still drops out occasionally and gradually gets behind, with no way I can see to catch up to live again. Listening for a few hours means I'm 15-20 minutes behind.

App updates broke the app. The latest version of app is broken for 6s plus.

Bring back Adam and joe interviews. They got rid of the Adam and Joe interviews podcast for some reason. I have no idea why they would do this and now I have to search the app every time I want to listen to one of their interviews instead of just going to the podcast widget.

So so. App usually crashes at least once. usually fine the second time. Also, love (not) how WRAL is fine with sticking streaming advertisement even when the radio host is still talking (ilo waiting for regular ad break). Very annoying

Was great..... This latest update, which was supposed to, ironically, fix slow load times, has now made it so the app won't load at all. I can't get the homepage to come up or listen to any content.

How about an update?!. I love this station!!!! I used to love this app before iOS 6 came out a few MONTHS ago! I've been patiently waiting for an update, but it doesn't appear that it's coming. If this app worked with iOS 6, then it would easily be a 4-5 star rating. However it's essentially useless at this point. If I could give it a 0 star rating, I would. Please update this app!! I will change my rating once it happens.

Content great, app shuts down by itself. After the latest revision, the app shuts down by itself more often than not on both my iPad and iPhone. Very frustrating! I’ve tried deleting it and re-downloading it and it makes no difference. The Contant, on the other hand, his first rate,and we are lucky to have such quality on the air folks in the triangle area.

WRAL - Expected Better. Every time I use the app to read an article the app crashes.

Used to be good. I’ve had this app since basically since the beginning. Somehow the functionality has fallen off substantially. The content is fine, but the app force-feeds you a commercial or two EVERY TIME you toggle between the streaming channels. So if you don’t want to listen to one and want to see what’s on the other, you get another commercial. Not what you want to listen to and go back to the other channel?…here’s another commercial. And then if you’re especially unlucky, you get to leave the forced commercials and get dumped into a regularly scheduled commercial break for the content you’re so desperately trying to listen to! Utter garbage. Not to mention the fact that it crashes at least once every time you open it. It’s sad because this was my favorite app for years to listen to Triangle sports.

Great app. Whenever I want up-to-minute sports news about my area teams, I go to WRAL Sports Fan. They carry all you need to know through articles, videos and radio podcasts. Definitely my go-to app!

Getting worse. Content is weaker. Links to radio are fine; but, the radio content is all nfl all the time! (plus some nba) Less NC local than before. And of course the app keeps shutting down - no other app I use does it. I’m close to dropping this ap.

Sapp App. I call this a sapp app because it's so un appealing. Its like the WRAL weather app. We can get weather and sports from the Main WRAL app. I'll use FoxSports or ESPN app for my sports information and entertainment. They both have local as well as national sports.

Not very good at all. This app buffers for me every 30 seconds for a handful of mins before it finally runs uninterrupted. Most of the time I have to click back to the home page in order to get it running again. It does not matter whether I have it hooked up to entune in my car or I'm out for a run. No other live streaming site does this whatsoever so it's not my phone. This has been going on for months. Extremely aggravating. Fix the issue!!!!
