Upload your photos to the news!. This app provides a fairly easy way to submit your photos to our local ABC affiliate. I gave it four stars because I found the map method for identifying the location somewhat confusing for people submitting pictures taken earlier in the day from more than one location. If you type in the location box first, whatever you type disappears as soon as you touch the map, even if accidentally. If you submit pictures taken in more than one location how does that work with the map, which can only show one location? The map feature works best when you are submitting pictures taken in one location, and really well if you are still at that location.

They often fail to report both sides. App works, no crashes nice features. I'm looking for a news app that reports the news and not opinions. Just determine what happened, interview involved parties, then report the story. I'm aware that it's the modern era of reporting I'm just old fashioned and tired of theses articles.

Horrible. You have the worse news app in the Sacramento area. It’s horrible, you should take all the add revenue and invest in a app that is easiest to use and cut down on the ads.

Don’t like updated weather. I got this app primarily for the weather radar, which was the same as the “Local Weather” app from the app store that is no longer available. Now I have to go into three different layers to get to it. If it ain’t broke, don’t “fix” it. Update: I found the old “Local Weather” app is in the store again. Deleting this one. Sorry, it’s just not what I want.

Daily Blend. We watch everyday. It’s a reliable source for news of the world, US, State and local. The staff, Rob, Walt, Mark, Keristen, Carlos, Tracey, John, Brittany, are warm and welcoming, as well as excellent storytellers. They all feel like family to us.

Great 👍🏼. Although I miss the old program. I have really enjoyed the new program. Much more in-depth coverage of local news.

CA EDD. Although I live in Southern CA I was able to find up to date information regarding the delays by EDD thru this app. My local stations were not reporting about the problems. This is now where I get my news.

Extremely great. I like the title as always true and updated.

Way better than KCRA App. This is an excellent app. Unlike the KCRA app, you don’t have to wait through ridiculous amounts of commercials in order to view any video.

Advertisements. I like the ABC10 news app however I don’t like the 30 second commercials before any videos will play. With all the serious fire danger’s it’s not cool to have to wait through ads to find out what’s happening.

Glitches. The app can be glitchy sometimes. It’s not as user friendly when I’m trying to search for certain videos or videos that pops up on my notifications.

Love the station. Hate the app.. Too many bugs. I just tried to watch 2 different videos twice, all 4 times it would play the ad and then freeze up my phone.

Favorite News. I used to watch the news on channel 3 because my son would put the news on there to watch the saga of Trump vs Biden. I just started watching the news with him. Until that time I really didn’t watch the news. Then one evening I was channel surfing and came to your news. I began watching the way ABC10, and I was hooked. Your news is more people oriented, and the way the news is presented shows that. I’m so glad that I landed on ABC10.

Cuts off and slips add when…. It was better before and now when your watching I will freeze and ads will pop up as you are watching news . Needs more work done . And now Commericals for crime channel and I have to shut down the app and then rest the news 10 . I’m about ready to give up the ABC 10 app ! .

Unique Ads. The ABC News 10 App allows multiple dynamic seizure-inducing ads on the screen simultaneously. For me, they all feature casino slot machines. This is the only casino ad I see online, since I have zero interest in gambling. The google feedback won’t make the ads go away. Why is this worth a review? Because the spinning ads make it nearly impossible to read the stories. It’s obnoxious. At the end of the day, it’s better to read online and skip the app altogether. I’m not the only one in my friend group who experiences this issue. Like others, I’ll probably just remove the app.

Worst abc app ever. I have two abc apps on my iphone. Abc7LA and abc10 sacramento. The abc10 app is complete and utter TRASH. It glitches iut, the videos wont play oh but guess what will freaking play.. the advertisements OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. You cant scroll down and play videos at the same time. The news rarely even updates more than once every two days. Like i said the WORST ABC APP THERE IS!

I want news not new apps. Recently when reading a story on ABC 10, the app decides to take me to the App Store and won’t let me go back and finish reading the story. I have to close App Store and ABC 10 app. Reopen ABC 10, and hopefully find the story I was reading.

WEATHER VIDEOS NEVER WORK!!!!. I have been having nothing but problems with the weather videos and ads preceding them not working FOR MONTHS and was really hoping that the newest update would fix them. But not only did it NOT fix the problems, it actually made them EVEN WORSE, which I didn’t think was possible. The ONLY reason I even have the ABC10 app is so I can watch the weather forecast segments on my phone. If I am unable to do that using the ABC10 app, I’ll just delete it and find one from another local news station that actually works. Thanks for nothing.

Good for news - awkward for weather. I miss being able to go directly to the weather. For the new app, perhaps an option to open the app on the user preferred section of choice: news, weather, ? Also I liked the old app feature showing my location with a dot on the map. That would be helpful when looking at a wider view of the state. The daily and hourly info on the right would be easier to read if the text was a bit darker. I do like having a separate selection for a forecast. Big improvement. I continue to use the old app for a snapshot of the weather but when I have time I use the new app to see what else it will do. It is really nice to have a direct link to the news and traffic.

Not very current. 3 biggest complaints, same stories remain in the "headlines" for days on end, "local" section is mostly national news, and almost no follow up to local stories. I find that I have to go elsewhere to get local news in a timely fashion. I do like the weather page though. (The only reason I don't delete the app)

iPhone app stinks. The app for the iPhone is not very good. The refresh button does not work and there is nothing great about the traffic app. There are way better apps for traffic notifications. I received an email about traffic from News 10 faster then the app updates. Please look into improving the because all the attention it's been given each morning definitely is not worth it.

Notifications and video - finicky. I love this app and the notifications, but the video is a little finicky. And the notifications are great, BUT every single time I open the app using the push notification, not only does it NOT go to that article (to expand on the notification), but the full article is nowhere to be found.... Please fix this or stop teasing me with 1/2 a sentence for a notification with no article to back it up!!!!

The Best in Sacramento. This app is by far he best news app for news in the Sacramento area. They have the best news stories that I actually care about. I also really like that the sports section reports on our local teams. This is the only one in the area to do that. I check this app many times during the day just to keep up. Thank you for being one of the best.

Keeps popping up App Store. While scrolling through stories the App Store popped up for no reason. I switched back to ABC10 app only to be redirected back to the App Store for a different app. Unacceptable.

Nice App. The new app is nicely organized organized, so that news sorties are easy to find. The app is user fire fly and the vivid images make it easy to identify news categories.

News update. Overall, the app is good. It needs an updated format to sort latest news by chronological order and headlines. It's a quick way to stay up to speed when the traditional style of watching it on TV is not available.

Gotten Worse. It would also be nice if the breaking news alert when clicked on takes you to the actual story and not the home page that seems like it hasn't been updated. Kind of an important item if you are going to have a mobile app. Clearly you don't care about the functionality of this app. Wish I could give it ZERO STARS.

Shooting Elk Grove. There was a shooting in Elk Grove by the EG police department at the hotel off Laguna and Hwy99 you did not report. I would like to know why you’re helping to cover up this shooting.

Not user friendly. It's so sad when you want more for an app than it wants for itself. I check this every day and wonder - How can a News app, whose purpose is to get news TO the public, be so ineffective? There are so many ridiculous ads mixed in between stories to "trick" you into clicking on them because they appear to be news. It is not a user friendly app, interactive or interesting. They provide abbreviated info on news, I am not even sure what the point of "area mug shots" is about - maybe they could add a link to a police radio scanner to make that more interesting? Is it possible that an intern at the studio or someone with tech-savvy abilities could work on this app and bring it past 1999? Maybe act like it matters instead of an obligatory chore? Because when we are at work or school we need the news and we can't always wait to catch it on the tube.

Big improvement. New version is a big improvement. The live stream is great - listen to it on the way home like it's my news podcast of the day!

Doesn't change it's stories. I go to this site every day. Some of the stories and links to stories have been there for days. This isn't news. Site has a very small window upper left side where all the news is. You have to click on it to get to the news. The rest of the first page is junk and ads.

Keeping me up to date. News10 has done a great job posting the news and sending alerts. I am out of state so really like the notifications. I feel like I am still connected to home. Not as happy with the ads. Still they do a good job.

Horrible. This app is so bad. I'm shocked that no one at the Station sees that. It's super slow to load and once it does, it's usually the same stories from the day before. Also it's difficult to navigate through all the pop ups. Way too cumbersome and not at all convenient for those of us who just want to quickly check the local headlines. Would NOT recommend

Awful. Not the best news app. Most of the time I go to read a story and there's nothing there but an ad. Stories are never updated on the latest news and half the time I want to read a news story it's only available to watch. Really annoying news app for anyone who enjoys reading the news.

Good App. This updated app is much better than older version. Quite a bit improved and like the new layout.

Tell 10. App gives abbreviated stories lacking a lot of details. Tell 10 part of app hasn't been updated in months instead of weekly like it should be. Not enough local stories. Stories are often days old and not updated. Also same story can be found 2 or 3 times on page. App isn't updated on weekends so no sense checking for breaking news. What's the purpose of showing mug shots? One of their own reporters has his mug shot there. Don't update stories over the weekend. Not enough LOCAL stories! A lot of times a story will appear twice on one day. Once is just video, then further down the page will be the printed version.

Too Cluttered. This app is almost useless because it is so cluttered. It needs to be cleaned up and streamlined. While it’s not perfect, the San Diego 10News app is much easier to use.

Best Sac area news app. This app is my #1 news app in the Sacramento area. Not only does News 10 have the best news stories, but they show more news on their app than any other Sacramento news app. Your weather is also very good and on point. No longer backwards compatible. The spec state IOS 8.0 or higher, but the last version fails when launched under IOS 8.3. Please fix it!!! Thanks!!!

Searching for a current local news. On the day the tragic car collision happened in Elk Grove, I know it was reported by ABC10, but somehow I couldn't search for it. I wish ABC10 provides a way to search (like the magnifying glass) for past recent or current news. Just suggesting.
