App bites the wood.. Mag is great but app stinks. Very unstable app shuts down all the time. Two stars because magazine is great.

It's a turkey. Can't get it to open, repeatedly chokes don't waste your time. Too bad.......

Pocketmags are garbage. This and every other magazine that employs the "Pocketmags" company to distribute their content should sue whoever or whatever owns the Pocketmags brand. The pathetically pixelated pages look like they were generated using an iPhone camera from 2005. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ATTENTION POCKETMAGS!!!!!!!!!! You (or your software) are creating blurry magazines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop immediately. Take your outdated iPhones out of your pockets. Call and apologize to the magazine writers and photographers. Then repeatedly whack yourselves about the face and shins with said iPhones.

Just Awesome!. Not only do I love this periodical, I love it on the iPad. Being an adventurer at heart and mind, this is the only magazine out there that tells the stories of true adventurers. Additionally, there is great information about products, that are specific to our sport. Keep up the great work and continue to publish the stories of those that we can vicariously live through. I have had no problems with the reports that others have thrown out below....including poor pics. Pics are high res and once they load, are crystal clear. Zero issues with the App. I have issues with my Gen1 iPad shutting down, but that is an Apple issue....why won't Apple let us upgrade our Gen1 iPads to the latest software releases.....oh yeah, they want us to buy a new iPad!

Best moto mag. Great articles. An excellent mag all around. My only wish is that it were published more often.

Needs work. Latest edition downloads 100% then never loads or crashes when selecting download. Good content but unusable after paying for a subscription.

Thank you ADV Moto. I am so grateful for such a well-written periodical on the topic of adventure motorcycling. I love the articles, product reviews and high quality images. I read the digital copy and appreciate the links and features. I am very pleased with the app and content.

Room to improve. I enjoy the magazine a lot. Usually really good articles. It feels like it is getting more advertising and less articles recently and is always disappointing when I finish it knowing I have to wait two months for another version. Some good product reviews which are usually very helpful. More reviews of gear like panniers and farkels would be great. The App is unstable and closes itself sometimes which is frustrating. I am sure they will get on to fixing it soon though. I think the magazine is well worth the money and only wish they were able to do a monthly series.

Paid for blank pages. Apparently they're having problems. Login screen didn't work and was routed to a web page for creating account. After that it still only showed blank magazines. Going to contact support.

Great mag, but contrast problems. Update Feb 9 '16: Just launched the app and now see a new behavior where the pages load with the contrast issue then adjust to a normal level. No new downloads, this on existing content. I am running 9.3 beta of iOS. Wonder if this is related to the latest build. I was not running a beta when I wrote the first review. It doesn't persist when a page loads and lightens. If I move to the next page and come back, it does the same thing. But at least I can now see detail in photos I couldn't before! I've added a star with hopes that soon the pages will load correctly without the animated contrast adjustment. ---------------- I really enjoy this magazine. I bought my first print copy earlier this year and had a great time reading the entire thing. Decided to sign up for the digital subscription. Obviously, the content is still great, but I see what others are saying regarding images. At the Library view, things look fine. But when launching a magazine, all of the images, whether they are ads or part of an article, go to a hyper level of contrast. Darker areas of images go completely black. Light areas blow out completely. The text is, of course, still legible, but the image distortion really takes from the experience. This should be a simple fix for the development team. Please knock this out so I can modify my review to a full five stars that the magazine, itself, deserves! Thanks!

Good mag, but crashes. Good magazine, but it almost seems like it is scanned in. I was asked for this review after I just reopened due to a crash. It would be nice if they linked detailed google maps into the riding articles.

Buggy app and slow to get new issues. I love the idea of this app but it is very slow to get new issues of the magazine and crashes often on my iPad. Hopefully the developer can address these issues and I can raise to a 5 star review

CRASHES!. I am super unhappy to report crashing problems on iphone5. I really want to this to work to read on my phone and iPad but after starting an issue download the app just continually crashes!

Adventure Motorcycle Magazine. I love the magazine but have (2) suggestions: 1) Publish the bi-monthly edition at the FIRST of the period. 2) Please utilize more local content ie US and Canada. There is lots of adventure to be had in this great country and most of us will never adventure to Vietnam or some far off place on outer faithful steeds

Good stuff. Great mag. Love the stories and product reviews. Reading the stories leaves me 'road sick' as opposed to home sick.

Do not buy! Crashes on startup. This app has never run. It just pops up a screen and crashes. Tried a reboot of iPad, same result. It crashes on both the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 even after deleting and reinstalling as recommended in the description. Complete garbage.

Love this magazine. Since i picked up my first copy I have enjoyed this mag. Now it's on my devices even better

Fun reading and informative. This is a well produced magazine with solid reviews and in depth articles about adventure riding. They find interesting places all over the world and spark ideas for journeys.

Great way to read a magazine!. It is too early to give a full review but to start I love using my iPad to read the magazine. Once you get used to the navigation it is easy to use and in many ways I find it as good as the print version. I also have it on my iPhone X as well so I can pull it out when there is dead time at work or home. My only complaint and why 4 stars not 5 is that it would be a more functional magazine for all involved if I could link out to the advertisers pages directly by clicking on their web address.

Terrible experience. Latest (December) issue has some quirks, missing pages and photos are worse than usual, very blurry and pixelated. They were never great to begin with. Magazine looks just like printed version, no way to look at high resolution pictures, ads are not interactive and when you swipe, the following or previous page is always blurry and it takes a second or two for it to become clear. This makes some photos that span two pages always partially blurry, no way to look at them as you would while reading paper version. How is that even possible in this day and age I don't understand. I could take a photo of a page with cheap smartphone and it would look better than that. Fortunately the magazine content is interesting and I love reading it but poor app design makes it that much more painful and frustrating.

Excellent magazine, slow with new issues.. I've always likes this mag, and the Newstant format is fine, but new issues seem slower than the paper ones.

I was given back credit for my lost/ frozen purchase and ended purchasing some more magazines - sweeeet. Very helpful in finding out things I never knew existed- Awsome . Needs work. Application crashes often. Fails to connect to Internet even though I am connected, so I cannot register. How this made it through QA?

Great Magazine!!. I've loved the way this magazine is put together and I hope they keep it the way it is! I'm a Dual Sport rider even though it's geared towards ADV, I still get a lot out of it. The app seems to work fine and I haven't had an issue yet!

Great content but needs improvement. The magazine and its contents are great. The App however severely lacks. When you zoom into a picture the color shifts darker. Other similar magazine apps offer the same type of content at a third of the data space and the app on certain issues often crashes.

Mag. So far, a good magazine for the adventure/dual-sport riders. Good articles on rides and products as well as ad's for adventure riders and accessories...

Application crashes _wasted my money. I have an Ipad 1. Managed to buy and download all issues but application crashes as soon as I try to read them. It seems that there are a bunch of app developers that cant do the job they were paid to do. I don't give a hoot who causes the problem just the fact you charge for something that can,t be used.

Update killed it. The latest update deleted the app off my desktop. Now I cant access the app to read the mags I bought

Unreliable. The app keeps crashing, I bought and paid for backlog mags and it doesn't download them. Followed the site advice, deleted, reinstalled, restored purchased mages, and it still crashes.

Different mags for different riding. If you're into reading about adventure riding and reviews on cool riding gear, this mag's for you.

Disappointed. Your mag would seem to be directed more towards riders with the means to purchase the over priced products you advertise. Than the average rider that might be of a more modest means and or be a more discerning shopper. This opinion reached after just one copy. Now if I could figure out a way to get my $ back for the subscription. By the way, I,m the owner of many bikes. Be riding Mexico and C.A.during feb and march. Not part of a tour group and not supported in any way. Just three amigos having fun.

Great for in between adventures. I've had no technical issues whatsoever! It's also a great magazine. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I just wish there were more issues. Alas, I may have to buy some back issues to get my fix. For those interested in Adventure Motorcycling, I highly recommend it.

Low Res Images. Written content is good, but many of the images are very low res.
