💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Fails on so many levels. It's taken such an inordinate amount of time for the ADS to produce an app for their newspaper, you'd think they would have spent the extra time making sure it was worth the wait. No. Although the Star is touting this app as a "full-content" version of their paper on the web, it lacks one of the singular features that makes the Internet version so interesting: the ability to comment directly on individual articles. Without this feature, the Starnet app and its content is merely mediocre. The app constantly crashes. It takes too long to load, thereby guaranteeing Mr. Click at least 10 seconds of screen time. Inability to view some displayed content offered in editorial section, but come to think of it, not being able to view Fitz's daily vitriol can count as a plus. Avoid this app and get KOLD's news app instead. It has far better news coverage than any other Tucson-centric source, IMHO. Plus, it WORKS!

Please Subscribe. It’s wonderful to have easy access to what’s going on in our city and our own neighborhoods. Support local news! Subscribe to the paper or online edition of the AZ Daily Star! No local news would be very bad news!

Clunky - but it works. Town News doesn’t have the sophistication of some web developers but at least we have local news and I can get it on my phone!

iPad. Not setup for iPad well. Clumsy menus

Valenzuela. I can always count on news to hit my phone faster keeping me updated day to day. I rely much on TUCSON news now !!! Love the app !

App ALWAYS outdated. App always running a few days behind on the news....seems like most of the news isn’t all that relevant, like they saved all the minor stories for the app...the actual Daily Star newspaper is 1000% times better than their digital presence...serious work needs to be done on the app

This is a good app!. I almost didn't get this app because of a few whining cry babies moaning over a :20 sec ad. I'm glad I didn't listen because this a good app. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. In fact, it has so many additional features besides the news (like weather & traffic) I'm surprised it's free. Bottom line, don't even hesitate to get this app; it is a gem!

Tucson News App. Ahhh, the faithful little app that keeps me connected with local news.

Better than the mobile site. Loads faster. All the content is there (the mobile site won't load sports or business as of this review) Not a big fan of the slideshow for Hansen's column.

It's sloooooow. Generally speaking, it's a good app. It has the content I expected and is easy to navigate. The only - and major - drawback is the "speed impediment". Each time the app is booted, an add for Jim Click, with the man himself smiling at you, appears and "watches", while you wait for the daily content to be updated. I have been using this app for a while and, though promised in at least the last release note, the speed issue remains unsolved. As a result, I often resort to apps provided by other local news providers.

THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE!. Everyone - please subscribe to the Arizona Daily Star!!!!

Stellar. His writings are not objective; writings are completely subjective and boring. The outcome is predictable. A much more worthwhile, intellectual approach is needed and would most surely benefit readers. In particular the article on Grijalva. We know him since our days at the U of A, and the public would be better served otherwise.

Please download Grammarly. Does anyone proofread the ‘news’ before putting it out to the public?

Good site. Generally good site, though there are some problems with blurry print. Good newspaper and a better site than many online newspapers.

Painful to navigate. The app interface itself is okay, nothing spectacular, but once you click on a news story you enter a standard web page that takes too long to load, too heavy with ads and sometimes nests articles that require multiple clicks and loads to get to the article of interest. Obviously slanted more for advertising at the expense of mobile ease. Local news apps better.

Local news sports wonderful. Excellent Up to date Great coverage

No auto rotate on iPad. This app performs the basic functions for a news reader; except allowing for a portrait format. While some may like reading their news with two hands, I do not. Disabling a basic function within the iPad makes little sense.

HPChap,. I know you want to protect your photographers. I’m a photographer. The fact that i can’t zoom, to actually see the images illustrating your articles, is extremely annoying! Of the news i read around the country, yours is the only one to do this. Also, this app errors every time i want to open a notification. If you actually want to be competitive in these digital times; make the app something people will seek out. Now, it’s something i have to deal with. Unfortunate, i used to deliver this paper as a kid, when i thought it was important:( Sincerely, Soon to be an AZCentral reader! Again, unfortunate.

Up-to-Date News. Getting the latest news is really great. I really enjoy the news updates. Good to keep up with the news. Thank you for great reporting.

Doesn’t work. No longer works. Just takes me to “saved stories” (I don’t have any) and it won’t let me navigate anywhere else. It’s bad enough to try to read a news story and remove their bias, but now I can’t even read the stories. Not much positive to say about this.

Poor photo formatting. Many minor shortcomings in this app, but the most annoying is the way the photo at the top of an article often appears as if badly cropped, with the upper half of the subject’s head missing. I have an iPhone 12 with the most-recent version of IOS. What’s up?

Love it!. Minimal notifications but reports what I want to know locally and nationally.

Best Available. This is the best available electronic news reporting available.

Not good. Out of all the stories that are added each day I only get to read one. This app is consistently crashing every time I go into read a story. Very annoying.

Worst app I've got. It has performed poorly since I downloaded it a few weeks ago. There was recently an update which was intended to shorten the time it takes to load (i.e. show the Jim Click ad) several days ago and the app hasn't worked since. All the story fields are blank and none of the links work. I keep waiting for them to fix it because there are so few local news options.

Horrible. Never updates all the daily stories. Crash prone. Crappy Hansen and lousy sports editor.

Format, Broken internal references/links make this app… "meh.". Again, the UI is nothing to write home about. Perhaps most cumbersome is the fact that once you find what you're looking for, which can be rather a challenge in its own right, the physical orientation of articles' presentation on your device defies convention; content is presented in multi-column format (à la traditional newspaper print editions), requiring the user to scroll horizontally rather than vertically – i.e., contrary to the well-established and efficient navigational standards of the Internet and most "written" electronic media. Even worse, however, are the frequently invalid links to other suggested reading internal to the Daily Star found at the end of articles.

Tom Stellar. Leftist trash. Romero is an empty headed moron along w her liberal staff. Constantly lifted up by Stellar and his leftist articles.

Print edition. Lower the price so I can get back to folding pages!!

Ads. I would Never Recommend this service because of excessive ads.

News. If they actually got the news right instead of posting stories of rumors and hearsay. Also, with all that education and computer tools they have, but yet daily there are stories with misspellings and incorrect grammar all over the place. It’s really sad that it happens. Apparently the editors are as sloppy as the journalists are. They should care about their craft.

Too loud!. OK, I know it’s expensive to provide up-to-date content, but the video ads are more than annoying, especially when your beloved is asleep beside you or your companions on the bus startle easily! Also, the story “teases” at the end of articles that go nowhere are a waste of space—just stop it!

Scare tactics. I know there have be some positive news stories out there. Why can’t any of those ever be reported? All those scary numbers you toss out daily...how many of those have recovered from COVID and how many are people who test positive more then once???

Lame content. As of today no new local content for nine days. Not even the usual one story a day. Deleting app and canceling digital subscription.

Thanks for the information about Tucson area. Send

Poor selection of news. Near worthless, leftwing biased reporting with minimal content. If you want to view obituaries, the site does cover these.

Needs update. 8 times out of 10, if you click read notification of headline you just received, you will get the error “Failed to load article, SQLite result error 0”. Otherwise good for local news.

No longer works. App no longer shows anything but saved stories now. There is no way to view the news other than what was saved. Since I don’t save any stories, I see nothing at all. No way to exit out of the saved stories menu either. What a waste of an update.

Unusable. Crashes every time I try to open it. I tried reinstalling to no avail.

Many glitches. When tapping to see the whole article on the first page, the whole screen locks up. I stopped using the app because of this issue. I waited several months to see if the issue was resolved but no it hasn’t been!

Security Warning. Just a word of caution that this app snoops for personal information. I am now routinely getting notifications that the app is accessing clipboard data. I hope they will discontinue this practice with a future release.

Dying newspaper struggles to survive… poorly. The app has always been poorly designed, and the reporting was sub-par, but it was a source of local news so I was an occasional reader. But now they added the regular weed report… I just can’t respect a new source like this. Is this what they have to do to get readers now? It’s a sad state of affairs. The Daily Star should just be put out of its misery. Maybe I’ll try the local TV news apps.

5 star if not so buggy. Fantastic that we can access all this great local content on our phones! A few quibbles: Regularly find that links don’t work (particularly for “related articles”). System has trouble connecting to current content at times. Video articles don’t have the videos. Sometimes we get black screens instead of the article (particularly for historical photo articles).

Super digital app experience!. Af

Wish app did not crash so much. Could be five start if they would get a better app. One that does not freeze or crash.

Dead end. Used to be a good app. Now it is useless. Don’t waste your time

Easy access; good coverage: great support. We’re thinking of moving to Tucson, wanted a way to get familiar ahead of time. Tried others; this seems right. Good support: ¡important! Good coverage (seems, both sides, but who’m I?). Even better tnan some of my usual news feeds. I look in daily. [p.s., from elsewhere in the world: You folks in Tucson seem so calm and reasoned. What the heck are you? Civilized??)]

Horrible app. This app irregularly updates its content, and now won’t even load one story. It crashes way too often, and reruns stories as new very often as well. I deleted from my phone because it flat out doesn’t work.

Your left leaning publication. This left sided publication is more of an opinion publisher than a factual news based organization.

I work here. And this is the best way to read stories
