GoldRatio App Description & Overview
What is goldratio app? GoldRatio is a program for ratio charts. Ratios are a powerful tool to compare the performance of two assets over a certain period of time.
The program calculates ratio charts of 60 different values (commodities, currencies, indexes, stocks and bond futures). For example the gold/silver ratio or the dow/oil ratio. Every combination is possible, even more exotic charts like for example the price of apple shares in soybeans.
The app can also be used to calculate commodity price charts in various currencies. (F.e.: The silver/euro ratio is the price for silver in euro)
Two ratios can be compared in the same chart. The charts can be displayed with absolute ratio values or with percent values. In percent mode both charts start at 100%
Depending on the data up to 12 different time frames between 45 days and 180 years can be calculated.
38 Days, 200 Days or 10 Years averages can be shown, too.
GoldRatio2 stores the settings for 15 different ratio charts (Bookmarks). You can scroll through the charts by dragging them with your finger from left to right.
The program is resolution independent and takes full advantage of iPad or retina screen resolutions. It works in portrait or landscape mode.

This app works very intuitive and is easy to use. Ratio's are very broad. Personally I would like to include the consumer price index (for some major economies) as a ratio, perhaps this can be done in a future version.

Great App but.... This is a great app, The format is great the user interface is great and the display is great with one small exception. The application on the iPad 3 doesn't extend the full width of the screen and except for the very first page, the graphs are not centered on the display and more than one graph shows at a time, seems like a minor bug hopefully you'll be able to fix it.
Whoever complains about This app probably complains in general.. Best unknown app for anyone who needs to know things related to gold (as well as other commodities and currencies) and the ratio between an ounce of gold compared to whatever the asset you have chosen is.
Gold Ratio. Neat app. Would be nice to be able to ratio all the items to 1. That would give you the prices for each item, ie you could see the graph of gold by itself. Will rate 5 or that!
Not bad!. There are a few things I'd like to see, but the app has a clear record of getting better with updates.
Great app. Works exactly as I had hoped. You can get gold or other asset charts by getting the ratio to USD. Thanks for adding assets with upgrades. One suggestion, add log scale mode.

Goldratio. Not enough features and options to warrant the $1.99 price.
Help on the way. I do agree that it lacks luster. Please up date by allowing us to have a Watch list capable of putting Canadian stocks in to it to compare. Ability to Choose time periods and so on, add a couple tactical indicators and away you go you'll be sitting on a pot of gold, and be able to keep track of it's price.
