Ugly as hell, but you will past your test!. Despite being a somewhat poorly designed application, it will definitly help you pass your permit test. I passed today, with 95%!

Great app. This was more useful than the hand book! I went through it a couple of times and got the rules down cold. I'm going to take my test tomorrow, but now I'm not worried.

Force closing. Every time I try to get on, it force closes. Can you please fix this ASAP, I need to practice for my written test. 😁

Good app. Helpful, but only 7 test questions

Great app. I didn't even have to touch the book, practice the questions for like 3 days over and over again , just went today and pass my test no problem only got 3 questions wrong.

Fix this!!!. I payed for the app and after the first test it crashed on me! That's horrible that it hasn't been fixed it yet.. I want a refund..

Good job. I liked the format and the large variety of questions.

I want a full refund. When I first got this app, it was awesome I took the first test and it was great, then right after I got it, it forced me out. So my excitement was short lived. If you can fix it ASAP that would be great! If not, I want a full refund back

Not a complete application. Not a complete app.i didn't pass in my first attempt because there are some questions in exam that is not contained in this app.

This helps you alot !!. I'm editing my previous review cuz after studying for the exam using this app for 2 weeks ... I took my exam today and passed on 1st try !! It could use a few improvements but overall I'm sure it'll come in handy if your taking the exam. Easiest form of Study guide possible ... Study it for a few days and you'll surely pass it. Good Luck 2 ya !! 

Crashes repeatedly. I am really frustrated because i payed for this app, hoping it would sufficiently and efficiently prepare me for the permit test, but it crashed after I completed the first practice test and will not reopen. Please fix this bug ASAP ((Do not buy this app until the bug is fixed))

Not accurately matched with Calif exam questions. Many questions that aren't based on CA DMV exam. Hit and miss. You could memorize the book and still miss in many! Skip this one!

I passed first time.. Loved it. It isn't a replacement for just reading the handbook. (painful I know) But really good for some quick testing in the run up to your exam. I got two questions wrong in the real thing, neither of which had been asked within the App. Some of the questions came from the handbook not the App and thats why only four stars. But to consolidate your reading and test in the style of the real thing its a blessing! Worth the $2.99 and cheaper than having to go back again or even take the UK driving theory exam and even than buying the UK manual. Spend the cash! its difficult to regret once you have passed. and good luck!

Does not work.. App crashes after you take the first practice test, and won't restart. I haven't been able to get it to work. Don't waste your money on this.

TERRIBLE. You will not pass the permit test with this. Doesnt help at all. None of the question are on the permit test. They are totally different. Waste of money do not buy.

Used to be good. The app was fine before it's update, the update makes the app crash after the first practice test. The app not only crashes once but after that crash, you can't reopen the app even after restarting the app. I hope you guys take this into consideration and fix the app, for the app is good but can be better with minor improvements. Don't waste of money.. You will failed if you only use this app to study for the written test.

CA DMV Test Prep. I think this is a great app, especially if you're up there in the years and have never had a ticket such as myself. My license renewal is due this July and I have found that the laws have changed over the years. Since I invested in this awesome app, and have spent countless hours practicing the simulated tests, I'm very confident that I could easily pass the written test no matter how tricky the test is this July and even on short notice. I highly recommend this app.

Not to be used alone. It's a great app. But it constantly crashed - I was able to log back in and carry on where I left off. I would advise anyone who buys this app to also use the most current version of The California Driver's handbook. A lot of my questions that came up, where new and not on this app yet. I did however pass first time.

Only 7 questions are available - don't download!. I paid for, and downloaded, the app only to find the first seven questions are available to answer. I can find no way to unlock/activate the remaining 4 sections. Seems like a scam.

Good, but. It's nice but it freezes alot. And way to much money. It should be $0.99

I Passed. It was designed to do just that. Layed out logically, easy to use. I would not have passed without this aid. Thank. Recommend.

Inacurate answers. Beware. Some of these questions come up on the test but the answers were different then those learned from this program. I have to learn the material all over again from another source.

This app isn't worth it. I got this to help me prepare for my permit test, but I definitely don't think it's worth the $2.99. Maybe if it was only $.99 it would be a good deal, but there are not 150 questions, there are 143, and many of them are repeated several times, so there are fewer unique questions. It runs fine, but there's just not enough unique material to be truly helpful on the permit test. Hopefully the price will be lowered or there will be an upgrade.

Useful!. Very easy to use and study much easier. Worth it.

Extremely helpful. I haven't taken my permit test yet, but I can tell I'm going to do very well because this app has helped me remember important rules and laws. My sister used this app when she was learning how to drive and she did very well on the test.

Broken. App used to work fine but now it is broken and just keeps crashing when it starts. Beware.

I passed the test with only 3 wrong!!!. This app is great. I've seen a few people complain about how it's not worth the money, well it's 3 dollars so calm down. If you bought the iPad for at least 500 dollars then you can pay 3 for an app. ****Don't make this app your primary source for studying! Although I used it 70% of the time, I still used my online course that is required. ***Pay attention while driving with parents, siblings, etc. You'll learn a lot! So as you can tell by my title, I basically aced my test and I am thankful to this app, the only thing I would add is videos that also teach for the audio/ visual learners like me.

It could be better!. Although I pass my written test, there were some questions that didn't appear in this App and I almost fail because of that! This App would be more challenging, when the answers aren't always in the same position!

I scored100%!. Helping the STUDY Along--- with STATE DriverHANDBOOK & 3other CA DMV Apps for iPAD-- I aced the test... TODAY... The IPad APPS make studying more interesting & easier to read and to pool all study material into one place. GO SENIORS !!!

Looks good, but.... Very cool looking app, I'm not sure how effective it is at teaching all that you need to know, as I'm not yet an experienced driver. I will say that although a cool addition, it's pretty clear they tossed in the driving manual PDF as an afterthought. It's a 100 page document, and they give you no means of skipping ahead pages, bookmarking, or searching the text, and the position resets upon program quit. It's great that you have a comprehesive testing app, but it's no good to me if I can't effectively read the manual.

dmv. this is not update it with the new laws 2010 and nothing from this app was on the test.

doesn't help at all. the questions on the test are generally pretty random. only a couple of the questions on this app came up on the test and some were wrong and some didn't help at all. read the book.this app really doesn't help you at all.

Great App!!. I literally never right reviews for apps but this one was so great I had to. I was taking the written test and had never studied the day of my teat I bought this app and used it on my way to the DMV and during the dreaded wait. In those 3 hour of total wait I used the app none stop note I had never even opened the book before and when i took my test only got 2 wrong. Best 2.99 I ever spent!!!!

Fix. Please fix this app ASAP I need to practice and I payed money for it
