Acts like an app but is not. Went to the app this morning and it said I needed to update. In the store it only said open. No update. No Get. So deleted app from my phone. Back in the store only option is to open. Tap on open and it opens a web page not an app. Nothing on the phone to do a spotlight search. Now to open the “app” I have to go threw the store, search for the AL POWER “app” then tap on open. EZ?? NOPE!!

Glitch. The new app does not allow me to log in. After entering in my information, which I know is correct, it continues to take me back to the log in to re-enter my information over and over.

Still needs work. This was a much needed upgrade from the old APC app but now when I try to do an energy checkup from the app, it tells me the app is no longer supported and to go download the new app from the App Store… even though I’m already on the new app?

I miss the old app. Would be fantastic if it would actually let you pay your bill in a timely manor

Why change the APP. October evidently you guys changed the APP , now my App won’t show me my 3 accounts on my app so it can add them all 3 together so I can pay them all at once , ONLY shows my primary residence, last month I had to be carried to the office to pay and me being disabled That was ruff , even called in and after a 33 minute wait time , they had no clue why and nothing fixed , was just told to call bill matrix and pay individually, Thanks ALA POWER !

Why?. The former process was much better. This no longer retains any information, not even user name, you have to fill it in every time now. It’s more complicated now, before it was simpler. It’s always best for the customer to keep it simple.

Can’t login to account. I updated my password and now I can’t login to my account to pay my bill. If I could give it 0 stars then I would

Horrible REALLY HORRIBLE. Can only get the home page and even then can’t get close it out the app does that for you without warning. Billion dollar company and not 1 upper level manager can try to use it before setting out on the customer. Wow fills with confidence about other decisions doesn’t it ?

Payment problem with checking account. Cannot get past the second step paying with a checking account on this new app

Review. App does not allow the user name to be saved when you open app. Then it will not save to password app.

The app. The app is slow and not responsive.

Love. I love the new app! It was a great update with many features that I will be definitely be utilizing! Keep it up!

Awful. App has not worked since they switched to this one. Very inconvenient.

Alabama power app. This app is straight to the point all I got to say.

Power usage. The usage part of the app has not worked since I downloaded it, I’ve called and they say they know theirs a problem, but have not fixed it yet. Should have left the old app running until all the bugs are fixed

To glitchy. Every time I try to pay with Apple Pay, it won’t go past the amount selection page to pay so I have to back out and go to a different payment method and input info again

APC is the best!. Just keep doing what your doing APC!

Temperature?. On the daily usage chart it shows the average daily high temperature of over 120 degrees. Y’all might want to check in that.

Customer. I don’t want to have to go to the App Store everytime to open the app. Once you click to open the app, there is no way to add it to home screen or even bookmark it. There is no download. Why should I have to go to the App Store everytime to open the app?

App issues. I have tried all day to use this app and it will not open. I even deleted the app and then reinstalled it and it’s still not working.

Can’t pay using app. You can’t pay your bill using the app. It’s been broken for months now.

Take the EASY way.. Alabama Power makes it easy to deal with that monthly electric bill, I just get the notice by email, punch a few buttons and Shazam! All Done. Thanks and God bless America!

Apple Products. Still can not view account on apple iPhone or web browser!!!!!!!! Pulls up a blank white page on browsers, and freezes in the app. Apple desktop is the same way!

Excellent-Like the usage info. App has a lot of useful information

EASY AND STR8 FORWARD. This app is really helpful I’m glad easy access to view and pay bills , Report outages , and so much more this app is beyond helpful easy access for everyone to use young or older .

Complicated. Too many steps…. Keep it simple stupid!

Garbage app consistent for AP. This app is garbage as far as I’m concerned. It is unable to process commercial accounts which makes it all but useless to me . The old app was trash as well but at least when it worked you could process commercial payments

Review. It is hard to use n won’t let me pay multiple bills and just won’t work as well as before.

Fix the App. It is frustrating to continue putting in my user name and password monthly, as if the app doesn’t know me. So I have to go look up my password/user name, by going out of the app to seek the info. It makes me weary and wastes time. I’ve hit the “remember me” button but nothing stays populated on the app. No Face ID is available either. Apps are for convenience. This isn’t so when I’m required to re-enter the same info each month. Please fix to make easier for us users of the App.

App Constantly Closes. Every time try to do something on the app it just closes out

Great app with small lag issue. Typing information in (username/password) seems to be a little laggy. The new app is great though

Amount owed issues. It does not change amount owed if you make a partial payment. I made a partial payment a week and a half ago but it still says that I owe the full payment. When I try to make another payment it wants me to pay the full amount like I never made a payment. Please fix this!! On the old app we was able to see how much was left that we owed after a partial payment and it did not try to make us pay the original amount every time we tried to make another payment. For some of us our power bill is extremely high no matter what we do because of the heat so we have to make weekly payments. We need to be able to see how much is still owed not how much was originally owed.

Use. Very simple to use

Not good. It would be nice if face recognition would work.

App issues. The app has me reset my fingerprint and Face ID each month.

Luv. I could pay my bills through this app , but it doesn’t work anymore it will not let you pay your bills through here it keeps messing up with the bill matrix it doesn’t work it needs to be fix.

Htdogone. Other app simpler and easier. This one is not mobile friendly as the other one was.

New app. The old app was easier to work in

Edit: Fingerprint issue fixed. Edit; originally gave a one star because could not find out how to use fingerprint to login. That issue has been resolved as there is now a little icon at the bottom that you tap. It doesn’t say fingerprint it just has a small fingerprint icon that was not obvious. anyway, it works fine now so I’ve moved the one star to a four star.

If i have choice of 0 star then I will give them this.. It’s not opening. Ones its opening then can’t log in thru account information or personal information. I don’t know why these company’s making these apps.

Doesn’t work. Nothing on the app works, at least my doesn’t. When I log on it doesn’t tell me the total due all is states is “total due $” also says view bill underneath but that doesn’t work either. As i’m logged in, while in settings it tells me to add my account and when I attempt to add the account again it just loads forever bringing nothing up. Absolutely infuriating.

BEST UPDATE EVER. I love the new format of how you can pay your bill. It makes everything so much more convenient and less of a hassle but I mean what more should you expect for such a great company which implements so many options to help the people.

Better. Better than the previous version, easy to use now!

Money scam. These people little do not care abt you even if you have kids or fall on are times sometimes. It’s so sad considering people always make all their payments and on time at that but they’re so quick to just cut you off and not even care at all. It’s so sad.

Full of glitches. I’m trying to transfer my service to another address and all I get is a pop up saying the app is no longer available! It hard to figure anything out on this new app beside the glitches making it more difficult! I liked the other one better

App is way different than the other. The new app is popping up a lot of stuff like error codes and it wouldn’t even let me change anything on it.

Maybe a good app if. It did not reset/refresh the login page every time the app is made active. I paste my login info into the app. When I switched back to copy the password, the screen shows a refresh graphic and clears all fields. Ok, I’ll paste the password and type the id. Great, now it presents an unnecessary message requiring me to change my password. My password is already secure, but no. Ok back to my info app to create a new password. Back to the app and …. Refresh. Back to a blank login screen. Lol. The app might be better but I literally can’t use it. Hilarious. Does anyone test anymore? If people are typing memorable PWs, the PW is flawed and likely guessable by automated attacks. Oh well.

Does not save username and password. Since the latest update 12/2023 there’s no option to save username or password and no fingerprint option. VERY inconvenient now!! Have to log in all over every time you’ve closed the app out. Was so much better before this latest update!!

Does not keep your username and password…. Does not keep your username and password since the update 12/7/23 and since it don’t keep your username and password the Face ID is not there , it’s ask for Face ID but it doesn’t keep it’s for sign in

The new app issue vs old app. I loved the way the old app worked and easily allowed me to use my debit card or Apple Pay card. Now, as of 03/09/2024, the new app said to use my debit card I had to go use the old app. I tried 3 times to use the old one and it didn’t work. I was forced to use my checking account to pay through the new app. I didn’t want to do that. Please fix it so your customers can use ONE SINGLE APP to pay from any type of payment method. Such a pain! Thanks.

Pretty good. The app never auto populates my user name and password as all my other accounts do (with other companies)- I have to go to passwords and send it over

Emailed code does NOT work. I downloaded the app today and it only allows me to pay my home bill. Not my other properties. It also doesn’t accept the codes it sent me to update my account information.
