Easy to use with helpful features. I’ve been using XpenseTracker for over 2 years and it is miles above the last expense app I used. Great filtering feature for tracking specific budgets and the ability to duplicate previous items is a real plus. Plus backup to iCloud allows iPad/iPhone use. I highly recommend this app!

My go to for expense reporting. Love the upgrade. This continues to be my go to expense account app. I simply enter on the fly, as well as digitally attach photos or files of receipts. My employer accepts the report emailed straight out of the app!

Great bookkeeping app. I really love this app. I have been using it for years and got the Pro version. One thing I wish it does is have a feature for the expenses that are on subscription like monthly, weekly, yearly. It’s hard enough to keep track of all the expenses and once you remember to put it in, you will have to create a new item every single time. Maybe something to consider for the app creators.

You can no longer add new entries. Overall fairly happy with the app. I use it for basic record keeping. The one inconvenience this pop up that appears monthly. Even though I select I already have a subscription, it seems there’s always a day or two that I’m unable to add entries. Would be appreciated if this would be fixed.

I bought the app for $30 now I need a subscription. I paid $30 for the PRO version of this app 5 years ago. I have added hundreds of records to it. Now they are saying I only have 5 left before I have to start paying for a subscription. Maybe I will contact apple for a refund if the original $30.

Great App. Love this app. Works for me perfectly. I manually enter mileage based on my starting and destination point as opposed to the automatic setting, however this has been a great way to keep track of business miles

Great app Xpense Tracker. I’ve been using this app now for over a year, and I find it extremely useful for what I do as a contractor. Period being able to download receipts. Make sure that all of my expenses are categorized and being able to customize all of the work that I do and the expenses that I have. I would recommend this app to anybody in the same situation that I am and I can see how it can be useful even on a daily basis for household expenses, and making a budget.

Disappointed in paid version and customer service. I’ve been using this app for years. It was one of the few that had everything I needed. Then they stopped updating the free version and you were forced to pay a subscription. The fee was reasonable and I get a ton of value so I didn’t mind much. Now for some reason the app wants to put in random decimal points in my mileage. Doesn’t matter if I use the total miles field or odometer fields. You can’t edit the decimal points either. I don’t understand WHY this is happening. I emailed support a few days ago and zero response.

Great mileage Tracker. I’ve used this product for many years. Easy to use, love that I can email the results to myself for tax purposes. Highly recommend.

Great app, but too expensive.. The app is great for logging my mileage and expenses. The only downside is the overpriced subscription fees. They seem a bit excessive, but a good app non the less.

Like CTP a lot. Simple . Comparison is difficult because tried using two others with high recommendations , and they had more steps to jump through.

Support terrible. No response.. Emailed support to find out why my account is not active after I was charged the subscription fee. can only import 5 entries then it ask for me to pay the subscription fee. I emailed support with a copy of the receipt for the subscription and have not heard back. Not happy.

Use it for work. Gets the job done and my accounting office love me more for it!

A musician’s Must have. I am a professional touring/recording musician. I’ve toured the world with international pop singers and continue to do so to this day. For the longest time (going back to the PALM devices), I was searching for an app that would allow me to easily track my mileage, expenses, and income all in one place. I’ve tried many other apps, but none of them were able to do what this one can. A few years ago, I came across this application. It was very easy to understand, had a short learning curve, and was intuitive. I need that, since I seem to always be on the go. I can enter my numerous clients and different locations, track my pay, and monitor all my expenses, from gasoline to lunch, dinner, equipment purchases, etc. I can even create notes for any entry that may help me later on. It's great to use the phone's camera to digitally save my receipts with geolocation, if enabled. I happen to have two different cars, so I’m able to track their use separately within the app. All data is compiled into a simple-to-understand format, which I can upload to iCloud for backup or to my computer, whichever I prefer. Once exported, all data transfers to a spreadsheet, ready for tax time. For me, this is the most well-thought-out application that can be used for many different businesses. But for musicians, it is perfect. I’ve only had to use support once, and the support person got back to me within an hour or less. I believe the support person is the actual app developer and programmer, so you know you’re getting the facts straight from the source. That’s a plus. I wish I could give it more stars, but they stop at five. It's spectacular, and it has made my expense tracking much more organized and easier. Kirk

Scam. This app lets you get your expense tracking set up and then about 20 expenses into the record keeping it informs you that you will not be allowed to continue without paying. I don’t object at paying for an app but I want the terms disclosed up front and not by using a gotcha method. It is evident this developer does not have much integrity and who knows where he’ll get you next.

Solve my problems and I’ll change my rating. Would have been 5 stars, but… 1) does not always sync phone to computer or computer to phone. 2) the vehicle miles tracker doesn’t work 3) there is no support to call to fix these glitches

Highly recommend. This app has been extremely helpful in tracking our monthly expenditures, and using it has streamlined the amount of work that we need to do when gathering our materials come tax-time. I am not the most tech-savvy of people, yet I have found this app to be very intuitive and user-friendly.

Expense reports. I have spent an hour or more doing expense reports with this app. 10 minutes. Very easy and also keeps track. Would of been nice not up down load a new one but apple up dated . Now have to remember my apple password to update. I will do it .

Best Financial App. If you are looking for something to keep track of what you spend on what and income this is for you. Many of the apps are more in line with creating a bolus get etc and linking to your bank accounts. I’ve been using it for years and went into a panic recently when it was no longer working with the new iPhone update. Couldn’t find anything else even close to meeting my needs. Then I decided to re downlaod it and it now works. However…a number of subscription options which are not entirely clear ranging from 2.99 per month to over 20 per month. It appears if you go the the 2.99 it allows me to self scan and enter my receipts/expenses as I have done for the last 6 years. More money by to have it calculate your mileage and still more to just scan or receipts and have someone else enter them. Overall, bottom line. Phenomenal app!

Best subscription purchase I ever made!. Been using this app for I can’t recall how long, at least 8 years… hands down the best app purchase I ever made! Easy to use & super great communication if you’re uncertain how to do something. I can’t recommend it enough & no, I don’t work for them or get anything out of this review, it’s just so rare things live up to what they promise!

Locked out of new entries after subscription. Signed up for the subscription, but I’m locked out of making new entries after the two week trial. I get an error message that says I must subscribe. Try to add subscription again, and I get a message that I’m already subscribed, then a different message saying an unknown error occurred. Going back to the free version!

Good but with bugs. Easy to use, but deletes amount after category of “per diet” and you must re-enter amount or lose it. Seems they should have fixed irritants like this.

Simply the Best Method to Capture Business Expenses. Thank you developers for updating to the Pro Edition. I use this weekly while on the go and it greatly simplifies migration into our small business expense reports. Have you considered a version for MacOS so we can seamlessly use this great software across all platforms!

Lost all data. You guys stated one time purchase coming to find out you have to use the prp version and pay subscription now. Upgraded lost 3 years worth of data even though i backup on the cloud. This is not right and I am more than frustrated. There is no help section on the app - probably you do not care about your internal app issues. Sad, feel ripped off my data and money and time!

Don’t look further! That’s the app. I am using the app since many years and it is absolutely great. When they announced the subscription I thought to check out other apps. In downloaded at least 10 other ones and deleted them rather fast. Not one was as good as this one. So just trust and be happy. For me it is the best on the market and I use it a-lot.

Fantastically effective app!. After customizing the reporting, I’ve now got a way to report travel expenses in my company’s approved format. What a huge time saver! That said, it took an investment of a few hours to configure it all, but for a frequent business traveler like me, it was worth it. I especially like the way this app can create expenses directly from images in my iPhone, and the automatic conversion of multi-page PDF’s into images. It’s also quite helpful that the app sync’s between my devices. I create expenses on my iPhone, then submit them from my iPad.

Easy to start. Just got it and already comfortable with the interface. Don’t know about the reports yet but it looks good so far.

Excellent product & Support.. I’ve used this product for about eight years and I thick it’s one of the best apps I’ve ever purchased. The features are exactly what I need. It’s easy to log information, import & export it in different formats; especially at tax time. Their support is also excellent when there’s a problem. Although I’ve found support via email is usually sketchy, Silverware support has been great. Buy this app; YOU WON’T REGRET IT!

Absolute most bang for your dollar!. Extremely feature Rich and customizable. This is made all the better by the price of this app.

I love this app !. You can take pictures of receipts daily and not wind up with a big pile at the end of the week or month to contend with. You should try this app.

Disaster. I lost all my data. Went to print 2021 report for taxes and all my work and data is gone. If you value your time and data avoid this app. Support was unable to help. Not sure what my accountant is going to say or how much this may cost me in taxes.

So great for keeping track of Christmas expenses. Love this app- especially when trying to keep the spend even for my grand children

Wish I would have used sooner!. I am just about done with my taxes this year and I’m kicking myself for not having this app during 2023. The ocr for receipts and the automatic drive log will save me thousands on taxes… next year. Don’t wait, get the app and catch up on your Jan expenses now

Does not upload data from original app. Got a notice the original app is being discontinued and to download pro version. Followed instructions exactly in trying to copy data over to the pro app. Appears the old app successfully saved and exported data. However the pro app says no data found when trying to load from classic app. This just doesn’t work at all. Update v1.0.1 fixes this. All good again.

Good but issue with upgrade. Very good app. Only issue is that when they had the up grade it looked like I was charged for the old account and not the new account so I got a it confused. But well worth the cost.

Disappointed. Although I have been a customer for many years, it was already upsetting to have pay again to get the pro version. Now I find that on top I have to pay a subscription fee. Although the software is great, there should be a subscription free version or at least grandfather those of us that paid for the app in good faith.

I have used this for years. The best app. It works so well, and it’s so intuitive and easy to use. It has completely changed the way I track my income and expenses, and it makes tax season a breeze. I cannot recommend it enough

No longer works. I keep getting a message that I can no longer add as I need to upgrade. I do have a subscription so unsure why it won’t work. I have done everything - even cancelling subscription, deleting app and then adding it all back and it keeps telling me I can’t subscribe because I already have but can’t add entries because I need to subscribe.

This was a good app at one time. No longer a great app, problem with sending expenses by email, over price not what it once was !! We have been using this app of 5 or 6 years:: the new application is not as good and is now over priced

Thief. Not worth the money. Already paid for the prior app, and now they want us to buy monthly / annual subscription.

New subscription model. Very disappointed that the app that I had purchased out right now automatically switched me to a subscription model.It appears I can no longer export directly to a file, but must attach to some remote drive, as it’s prompting me to connect to Wi-Fi. absolutely furious that this once useful half is now a piece of garbage.

Pro Version Issues. I have been attempting to upgrade to the pro version and pay the $32.99 for the year subscription. However, the app is unusable after I submit the upgrade. I just keep getting error after error I cannot enter any of my receipts or update any logs. This is extremely frustrating since I will have to find a different source even though most of my expense report information is within this app.
