Version 2 is a massive upgrade. It’s true there were UX issues in the original mobile app but those have been addressed and then some in this version. 10x more features, more modern look, and low key an ability to use previous searches in scenarios where the internet is bad such as at cards shows

Great app/wish pricing was a little more affordable. This app is amazing. Has all the data you need from the basic subscription. Best card app on the market hands down. If you’re a sport card investor/flipper, this is a must have. Did buy an SGC 9.5 hyper red optic card that pulls up in the app; so it’s registered into the system, but for some reason there are no sales history or data on that card which is weird because there have been many transactions of that card throughout the past few months as I have seen on ebay. Wish the more premium options were a little more affordable. Doesn’t really make sense to pay $50 a month for premium if you aren’t making at least $1,000 a month flipping cards in my opinion. Which maybe that’s who they made that subscription level specifically for. Overall it’s still the best sports card app on the market and definitely recommend it.

Needs lots of work. Aside from the fact that the service is overpriced. There’s not really an extensive library of cards to base values and grades off of. There seems to be very few up to date cards from 2022. Good idea, bad delivery so far.

Great Vision, Poor Experience. The market for software platforms in the sports card industry which enable data driven investment decisions is large. I applaud SportsCardInvestor for their innovation as it’s clear, their vision has a long runway of potential. Their market movers software will add immense value for investors, however the current product delivers an overall poor user experience. Data visualization is hard. It requires a deep understanding of your target customer needs, as well as which insights deliver the highest value. Additionally, data visualization software requires investment in talented UX designers. I mention both of these points as the current offering of market movers is quite a ways off from delivering at the current price point. It’s worth mentioning that the mobile app version is subpar at best. Stick with the PC browser version if you decide to dive in.

Can’t Add Card. App doesn’t work like the website. Website allows you to add cards to your collection, none of the “add card” buttons work in the app and none of the functions to save or add cards that are on the website are in the app. This app is useless for collectors unless you use the website to add cards.

Clean app but a terrible experience. I rarely comment on apps, because most I can work with but this one is something special. The app shows very well, and the UI is clean but that’s about where it stops. The photo search didn’t return a single result and when searching cards manually only 1 was found in the app despite each card retuning in an eBay search. Adding a card manually is useless in most cases if you want to include any extra search terms because the Next button stays greyed out. For the amount of money the premium membership cost, save your money and pay a developer to build you your own app.

Great Potential. Cash Grab. this app has great potential and a great database. but the prices are to higher to pay. $250 dollars a year for a base price to look at the prices of cards?! that is absurd!! if they could lower it to the base being $10 as a base and have 3 tiers then people who just want to do get into the sport card scene could buy it.

Must have app. As much as this market fluctuates right now this tool is so valuable. When searching eBay this app is a must have. Would love to see pop reports get implanted into searches in the future along with a dark theme. Great app. Keep up the great work.

Lack of intuitiveness + cost = 👎. There are limitations despite the +600k card tracking library. A lot of my slabs of ultra modern baseball didn’t have weren’t tracked. As this is most of my collection, it rendered the usefulness of the app useless for my case. There is promise to this product, but would strongly recommend they focus on improved UX as the IA is lacking which creates a pretty steep learning curve up front. Also, too pricey for something that functions as if it’s still in beta.

Great app, could be cheaper.. Love the app and use it daily, however, I do wish the price was closer to $10 a month. So much potential still to be realized and excited for the future.

Cannot Locate any cards!. The app is ok. But it is impossible to scan and locate anything. Even on cards that you know should be in their system. You always have to manually enter everything which takes forever!

New Version is AMAZING!. The new version launched in January is awesome. All of the features from web are now available. The database continues to grow at light speed (unlike other apps). Can’t wait to see what comes next!

Nice idea but too expensive. Market Movers is a nice idea but honestly this price data is already available for free on eBay and PSA’s website. There’s no way the casual investor is going to pay $250 or $500/year for trends and price alerts when they can just look up the data themselves.

Great app for newbies. My stepson and i are new to card collecting. (I did do some back in the 90’s but they were more noise makers in the spokes of my bike). We we looking for the best ways to track our hits and provide us with the best information when evaluating prices for making buying and trading decisions. The app gives us all the technical data in an easy format to make these choices. We can also track our collection, and see daily how our cards change in value. In my opinion, a must have app.

Solid!. Love this app. Easy to use! A must for any serious card investor.

Useless for casual collector or starters. No new collector is going to have a collection that justifies paying $10 a month to see prices. To photo scan a card it has to be in a slab and if you don’t have some of the most expensive cards in the hobby, every card you search will turn up no results. Give newcomers a reliable source to price low to mid tier cards so me can kickstart our hobby. Geoff seems so into helping the new collectors and I appreciate that but reliable pricing is the first thing anyone needs. C’mon man. Expand that database. If you’re learning stock trading, you start with Pennies, not with Tesla. Gotta get the low tier safe experience before jumping into the professional side of it.

Must Have!!. App is very well put together and smooth. Super handy to use at shows to quickly check prices of cards and spot undervalued cards. Their database has everything you would ever want from boxes to Pokémon singles! Must have app.

Review. Exactly what you want but after my subscription expired, my password was failing. I reset it twice and each time it was invalid. I lost my whole collection that I put into the site.

Inconsistent. Really doesn’t find common cards that have multiple listings on eBay of big name players. You’re better off just searching eBay and looking at current and past auctions. The price point is way too high for what this app offers.

No Horizontal Orientation Support. Seriously? App won’t rotate to horizontal orientation.

Crashes on every search on iPhone 14. Running iOS 16.2 (fully updated). The app crashes if I run any search regardless of player name, etc.

Awful money stealer. I have 50 auto rare basketball cards and the only one that the scan can actually scan is the Jalen Suggs rookie kaboom … for every single other card I have to manually type in what it is, which is heinously difficult and often can’t even find the card.. including a jimmy butler rookie auto … lame and I’m very annoyed at spending $15

YOUR 7 DAYS ARE NOT FREE. I signed up to test the app! I truly support these ppl on YouTube! Love them to death even! Just figured I would try the app bc it was 7 days free and if I didn’t like it I would cancel! But NOPE! They charged me $50 the second I signed up. Never had any day free! Never even received a discount for the 7 days. It was just a full $49.99 charge as soon as I signed up. 100% of other established companies do not do this! They just check your card to see if it’s active and the funds are there. These ppl didn’t even refund me the money! SMH! Horrible! I won’t be watching them on YouTube anymore either!

good idea bad app. i think that somewhere to track sports card prices is great but this app doesn’t have enough cards for the price and just isn’t good for casual collectors

Needs to be cheaper + have more cards in the database. I did an import and only about 10 of my 220 cards worked correctly. It will take me forever to input them all manually. Needs to be cheaper as well. $50/mo is expensive.

subscription price. The base price for a year is crazy if they lowered the price for the people that are just getting into this hobby then I can see this app at a 5 star great idea but too pricey for the poor folk

Don’t bother. 95% of the time the card your looking up is not in there database also u can’t be specific on what card you want you have to be very vague

Expensive. Great idea of an app just who in the world would pay $250 or even $500 for the pro account just to see value of sports cards that can be easily found on ebay that is FREE, Would be great app if it was around $40 a year or even $5 a month

Buggy and slow. Great concept but the app is clunky and slow. Not worth the price point. Better off looking up prices on eBay.

Not enough cards. Not enough cards in the database to make it worth $50 a month. I would recommend if they had more cards to add

Terrible Customer Service. Paying monthly for this app. Haven’t been able to access it all week. Can’t get any help to see what the issue is. Emails go unanswered.

Awful. I cant believe i’m paying $25 a month for nothing in this app to work. i try to look up a card and the app just doesn’t do anything. instead gives me a blank screen that looks to be bugged out. UI is terrible. i wish i could get a refund

Not Ready for Prime Time. I REALLY wanted this app to work. I religiously watch Sports Card Investor videos on YouTube and figured I would give this a trial run. Unfortunately, it failed. Most of the cards that I would search were not found. I tried the search by photo option for graded cards and even those wouldn’t yield any results. Cards I had just purchased off eBay wouldn’t show up. I have tried a few other pricing apps and have had much better success with them. Not only is this subscription extremely expensive compared to other options, it often times yields less search results.

9.99 plan is too weak. So I just got started collecting cards.. I signed up for 9.99 or 99.99 a year plan. Excited to get started, then boom 36 cards in and “you must upgrade” can’t even load a box before being hit up for more! Just frustrating! Product, seems really good. Like it but a bit slow on uploading cards especially vintage. But I know they are building it. Suggestions.. finding a card that’s a PSA anything but you have “raw” then why not select that card load the specifics and adjust it from graded to raw so you don’t have to manually enter a card you clearly have in database.. Ok that’s all, will review again 6 months from now for updates..

$250 a year?!?!. I don’t know how to justify $250 a year (the cheapest option) for what I can accomplish with excel and an eBay tracker like watchcount.com or a simple sold items search on eBay.

Market Movers - Abysmal and Frustrating on iPhone. Amazing potential and great when accessed from laptop but app is horrible and pages never appear properly. Have emailed Dev team several times but no one has reached out. Geoff, happy to walk you through my experience so you can see what your members are seeing.
