Hard to load. Takes to long to load. Ads cover the screen and are hard to find a way to get out of so you see the information your looking for. Too much trickery for me. This app is history! Deleted!

Pay to play. Just a warning it’s a pay to play for info that’s free on another app. It also doesn’t tell you why there’s restrictions in an air space ( could be just for aircraft not r/c / drone .

Great overall, but has limitation. I’m using the free version for now and really find it quite useful. The at a glance by weather summary is great! However, WHY is the Wind screen which shows winds at several altitudes limited to only showing them for 7 PM hourly through 11 PM? That severely limits it usefulness, especially for recreational flyers!

Wrong data. The free portion was reporting winds out of the SW when it was definitely coming from the NNW. There’s not much you can get without paying.

Best App Ever !. This app is freaking incredible ! I have a drone and that is why I downloaded it. I noticed some guy using it on. YoudTube video about my drone. But I am also a general aviation pilot and a weather nerd. This app has so much incredible local weather detail it is AMAZING ! And if you don’t believe me, please note that I am in the Dominican Republic! And it STILL has incredible local detail. This a is MUST APP !!

Could use more options - Continued. The only option is for the wind speed. Whether to use Fahrenheit or Celsius/Centigrade would be good. Other than the weather I can’t really see what the app provides. There should be a choice between metric and imperial for all measurable values. Wind speed would be separate since there are several common representations. Mph, km/h, m/s, ft/s, and knots.

Unable to use App. I have a paid subscription but the app keeps prompting me to buy the subscription. It is unusable at this time.

Why Bother. When you develop an app, the first thing you should do is ask someone who you never met to try it out. If they are successful at navigating it you might be into something. Download was easy - check Registration - no option provided Instructions or tips on app use - no option provided When I put in a location, it was unable to locate, town, city, airport or state - it could not locate the USA so the only next step is to delete the app - so much for Drone Assist.😩

Misleading “trial”. I signed up for a 3 day trial, only to be charged with a 1 week subscription right away. The restricted zones in the app are not accurate nor comprehensive. In that regard the FAA B4UFLY app is better when used in combination with AirMap and Aloft.

2 stars for effort.. This app does not show nearby hospital zones at 5 km radius. Kind of handy don’t ya think? Because those buildings have things like helicopters. The app wants a premium subscription for up-to-date wind forecast… Really?? For a detailed weather forecast, Apple weather shows many days in advance. My drone is a DJI mini, and the DJI Fly app shows the number of satellites connected. So this app is relegated to the back of the drawer.

Like it. I like it to be honest in my opinion

It’s alright. It’s not up to date with Canada’s “No Drone Fly Zone” there’s a large areas missing but the airspace is put on.

Wth. Now that you’ve made this a subscription-based app enjoy not having any people use it I can get the same information from the weather net work… lame…

Not for a Newbie. I’m expecting my first ever drone before the end of the month, so I thought I’d try out this app. Unfortunately, it has little, if any, functionality unless you go “premium,” even with a three day trial period. I’d like to know how it works first before paying. One star. UPDATE: I contacted developer to explain there was not much functionality on the crippled version and was sent a Free Trial code for 1 year. When I tried to redeem, it was expired. Was sent another code, this time for 1 month Free Trial. After spending a few minutes looking at the app, even a 1 month “Free Trial” period does not give you a chance to really try it — I assumed I could have full use of the app to try it out… but nope. And what I could see was not even in the same time zone as me. It was 12 hours out of synch with my time. So I deleted the app and hope I won’t get charged for trying to use it.

Select “Wind”. Crashes! Needs work!

Not impressed. Subscribed but still has ads! Forced a trial then annual subscription on me upon download. I don’t think the wind charts are accurate either. The directions appear to be off from other services.
