Great. I had no trouble at all hooking these up, I see a lot of bad reviews but I have no problems they are way cool. Just wondering though if you can put them outside.

Not helpful. The colors on my lights are inverted, so when I select purple the lights turn yellow, when I select red they turn green. Is this an easy fix or do I have a defective set? I tried to submit feedback within the app but was unable to because it wants me to put in my account info, but there is nowhere within the app to set up an account. The app also does not allow you to create your own color sets, and the lights can’t have individual colors. Regardless of how the app looks, I don’t think it actually functions very well.

Zombie app. No support, no response, no updates. Additionally: no customization with picking colors for animation. Unless try to change the colors. Than you’ll never get them back correctly. No depth in color. Only dimmer. No instruction on use for applications. For some reason it lets you mess up the colors in the adjustment. Changing the color for some no reason reason. Why would anyone want their blue to be green etc.. It would appear there’s no way to reset or fix it. Being no one responds through the app. Not their web page. Nothing.

Works Decent on Mini 12. Not sure what the fuss is about but able to connect to BT easily. Presets are decent and you can adjust speed so not fully customizable. If that’s what your looking for this isn’t it. Mic is a bit sensitive and no way to adjust. Music also doesn’t work nicely and seems to be only preset but I don’t use neither. I also experienced the color displaying incorrectly. Still could use some fine tuning but a decent start to the app.

Fragile and needs improvement. The lights function but I noticed that they get jittery when you move the power box at all. Also, they straight up lied about being able to connect to Apple Music. None of my library connects and that was the main reason I purchased. It’s just ten irrelevant pre set songs. For that reason two stars.

Works great. I honestly have no clue why there’s so many bad reviews. Maybe those that left said reviews were expecting something much different but I can’t see why. I have an iPhone and it connects to Bluetooth just fine without issue. I’m not experiencing any color shifting as well. The only thing I would’ve liked to see is some customizable options for patterns and direction but for the money I’m totally satisfied. Also, it doesn’t connect to my Apple Music but I don’t care. With the microphone feature it is able to somewhat sync with music but not great. Other than those issues it is everything it said it was and everything I expected. Maybe some people don’t have the aptitude for electronics or are just used to things being idiot proof... although this app’s interface is so predictable that elementary aged children could have a grasp of it.

no. I had no idea how to work this thing in the app. It made no sense and when I went to help there was nothing. I don’t know why this app has a help button when it does the opposite. This app if very confusing and I would like for it to have a bit more things to help the people who can’t figure it out. I have good internet and the device near me and the devices I have recently used weren’t working to connect. I went to the help center and couldn’t find anything.

Bluetooth name??. I have 2 of these lights in my house. One in my room and one in my son’s room. It’s so difficult to figure out which one you’re about to change because the names are the same on the devices and you can’t change them. Would be great if you could update the app to be able to name each device so you can know which light youre about to change.

I'm looking forward to ordering more but is there any way you could update the magic lantern app to allow users to create their own customized light settings? Doesn’t save preferences. I’ve had these lights in my car for a few months now and they work great. They make night drives fun and aesthetically appealing. But recently, the app itself hasn’t been saving my preferences. It’s just goes right to auto play, instead of what I select. I don’t know if this is a problem with the app or the connection, but it’s a problem and it’s annoying to have to manually select how i want them to be.

Terrible app. The app doesn’t allow you to do much. Just a bunch of presets that give you know control over the color options unless you set it at one color. The app also doesn’t allow you to save a schedule for the lights you manually have to turn them off and on for when you want to use them instead of having a time set where they turn on and off. To make matters worst now half of my strip is out of sequence and doing random patterns

Apps missing basic functionality. The apps not bad but has no real ability to customize the lights. All of my other light strings I can select multiple colors to create a scene like red white and green for Christmas on steady or red white blue for 4th of July. This app as none of that. The music function works really well on this though so that’s cool but please get the basic functions working they are much more important than all bells whistles and changing colors. Give us the ability to select multiple colors in steady state

Needs better music controls. So the app works great controlling the lights. Lots of functions for how to control them and set the lighting. The downside is for the music it’s very limited. There is no way to go and select a playlist and have it work with that or select the music source say from another app like Sirius.

It’s just okay, could/should be better. Like most I have this app as a companion to my outdoor, permanent lighting. The lights were advertised as something you could leave up year round and use for various holidays like Christmas, July 4th, Halloween… while there are a lot of different setting and combinations, they’ve missed some serious marks. There is NO way to make any custom pattern which really hurts the value of the lights because they have ONE pattern of Red/Green, NOTHING in red/white/blue, NOTHING in purple/orange. I don’t understand why these would be missing but I really hope they add these or build in some kind of customization of colors. I’m going to need to return these lights now and let the manufacturer know why. Such a shame.

Works well but could be better. The app works well but I thought I would be able to customize the lights or that there would at least be color patterns set up for each season. Christmas is coming up and there is no red/green color sequence. This product would be perfect is there were seasonal color patterns or ability to customize different colors together.

Like, but needs more. We like this app and being able to change our lights to different patterns and colors. The main issue we have with this app is the lack of color patterns for holidays. Christmas is pretty much covered and, of course, something as simple as Valentines or St Patrick’s since you only need one color like red, pink or green. I can’t understand why they don’t have a red, white and blue pattern. This would get used for at least 3 holidays. Plus, they could have more Halloween options like green, orange & purple or orange & purple. Could even have a Mardi Gras combo with green, yellow (gold) & purple. It has so many color pattern mixtures that most may never use yet are missing so many patterns and mixtures for holidays. I’d love it if they’d update this app to do so. Everything else is really cool and has worked well so far.

Needs refinement. The layout of the app is just janky. The 40+ styles in an infinite scrolling menu is abysmal to deal with. The speed slider doesn’t seem to matter when each effect has its on speed. When you use the music option your microphone picks up EVERYTHING and so you’re left with an annoying quickly flashing LED strip that doesn’t have any coronation with the sound being picked up. Shake feature is just stupid. And there’s no option to create a custom scene

Worked before but doesn’t now. I’ve got rock lights on two vehicles and they worked 4 months ago. But now I’ve got headlights that use this same app and now none of them work. The app won’t even let me add new devices and won’t even connect with the old ones. I didn’t have an issue until now.

Works immediately, and really well!. Everything in the app works; I wish there were more customization options, or a way to choose one’s own color for the patterns.

Works great. This app works just fine. I’m not sure what everyone else is on about, obviously this isn’t going to be some mind blowing rocket scientist app. It works for what it needs to do.

App could easily be fixed. The apps UI is just so janky and looks like it was made in the early 2000s. the amount of settings I don't mind I think it's pretty cool but if you leave the app long enough it'll just start making random patterns and wont even follow the one you selected. The music option is a total sham it does the same consistent beat no matter what song you play not following any songs rythm and the mic is far too sensitive as it's constantly on at 10% volume which is what the white noise of your room typically sits at, and if you try and change the settings of the mic the volume awareness just goes away and it stays at a certain color at a certain spot

Good but could be better. I got these LED lights specifically for the app-controlled aspect. I wanted to be able to change them seasonally and customize them. This app has tons of color choices and motion settings, but is missing a few things that I would really like to see; things that would be very easy to implement for the developers. First, season-specific color ways. I’m using YCP flush open for spring but I don’t see anything that would work perfectly for Thanksgiving (orange, red, yellow, brown), Halloween (orange, purple, off/black), Pride (ROYGBIV), July 4th (RWB), etc. Adding a list of holidays/seasons would be easy and solve this perfectly. Second, there’s no way to customize beyond picking a single color. I don’t see why we can’t pick multiple colors and motions. I’d love to do something like a firework (motion from the middle of the set out) or a glitter type of motion pattern - with whatever colors I pick. I really hope the developer of this app implements these ideas very soon because YCP flush open only works through May. I want to leave the up year round and more options would allow me to do so. Thanks, dev team!

It has potential but its has big issues. The amount of modes and colors is amazing, however the Colors selected on the app show up as completely different colors on the lights, you need to fix the “adjust” section of the app, because thats where all of the problems are coming from.

Works just fine. I’m not sure how the app’s ratings are so low. Once I set up my lights, the app automatically paired- and it’s so easy to change the colors. User friendly and I love it!

Beautiful Colors and Great Quality!. Update: when I open the app the lights start changing on their own. If I leave the app closed the lights don't change. Please fix this bug. recently installed the Silver Holder Ambient Lights in my car, and I absolutely love them! The variety of colors and lighting options are fantastic, and being able to dim the lights makes them perfect for any mood. The lights themselves feel high quality, and I’m really impressed with how they enhance the overall look of my car's interior. The only thing I wish is that the app had a favorites setting. It would make switching to my preferred colors quicker, but overall, the app works well, and I'm hoping it continues to stay high quality. Still exploring, but super happy with this purchase so far!

Very good. Apparently over 100 color changing options, dimmer, speed up and slow down, color rainbow. Work with music! music function is not amazing but it’s free.

The one thing I needed doesn’t work properly…. So I have several RGB lights throughout my house. They’re all different brands. However they all have apps that schedule when the lights come on and off. This app has that however it only works on one lamp at a time for some reason. Whenever I schedule the lights to come on only on of the two works which is kind of annoying. I’m trying to figure out a work around by adding them to different groups but still no results. Seems like a software issue and I would really appreciate it if it were fixed. Kind of disappointed in the product. The lights themselves work great which is why I rated it a 3 star. Id rate it a 5 star if the app worked better.

Okay.. Not going to lie not sure why all the reviews are so bad the app is good for a tik tok product. Connects has a bunch of light options other than you know your basic colors, but i'd say the only negative is it won't play lights to your own music just a couple of pre picked ones in the app, definitely not any to get into the mood though LOOL.

Great at first, but after updates, became buggy. They worked great at first, but after a recent update in March, they’ve become buggy. I’ll have them on 1 Autoplay Mode and then after a few minutes, they switch to a flashing mode and I have to unplug and plug back it the adaptor to get it back to the first mode. This happens every 4-7minutes.

Works perfectly. Even from all the bad reviews, everything seems to be working perfectly for my RGB lights, all modes, even the music one. Thank you!

It’s okay. I don’t have a problem with connecting them or anything my only problem is the colors look so dark only colors that look brighter is just red or the orange looking color blue seems to come up okay. The colors look cool when you mess with them on the different settings but when you set them as a solid color like pink it’s super dark and dull and I have the brightness all the way up. If this was fixed I would have no complaints.

Lights worked well at first. The lights worked really well at first, they changed colors correctly to the color selected on the app but after playing with all the options somehow the RGB got changed? Red in the app now shows blue lights in my car Blue in the app now shows green lights and green shows red, the lights still work fine, I’m just not sure why you’d add a ton of lighting options and features if the basic RGB mixtures aren’t even accurate.

They are nice but.... I like them. Two things though: 1. As some reviews mentioned I would like some sort of holiday settings or be able to make them more customizable. 2. Some of the colors are messed up. Like if I tap red it might be blue. Besides that, it is really nice. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews

Awesome. I’ve seen some mixed reviews on this app. Personally I feel it works great and is very responsive and easy to use. Yes there could be more features. However, if you are that specific in your desire for a unique function I recommend you design something that fits your interests.

Garbage.. First off does not work won’t even find Bluetooth second and most annoying when you use the camera to scan barcode it locks you into the App Store and every time you open your phone you see the stupid launch screen. And it goes away in seconds. 15 min later I was finally fast not close the launch screen. It’s like the websites that won’t let you back out !!

Trash app for trash lights. App is not user friendly, no way to trouble shoot or see if it even connects to the lights it’s supposed to control. No search for function or anything, nothing that pops up and says “connect to” The lights stopped working before I even finished installing them, and would respond to any power source anymore anyways. But the app should still have a “connect to” feature, but it doesn’t, it either connects, or it’s don’t, and that’s why the bad review.

Finicky at times. I had a lot of difficulty at first getting the app to connect to the light strip; but once it was it really is not bad at all. It has a huge amount of interesting effects and patterns. It really could use some sort of favorites feature to save the patterns that one wants to quickly retrieve.

Really???. You don’t even have holiday settings?? Are you kidding me???? Like really??? There’s no Christmas??? Fourth of July??? Valentines??? St Patrick’s day??? Halloween??? Thanksgiving?? Easter??? …maybe it’s just me but I feel your missing out on a huge market that seems like it would be overly simple to add…. But… … literally nothing… you have nothing useful….you get close then add or delete colors…. It’s like you started on the right track and then got distracted and did something else! You have the patterns, let us be able to modify the patterns with the colors we want and save them in our app Would be nice to be able to set my own colors I want for pattern that are provided… Please do yourselves a favor… Make the changes and I promise you’ll see a change in your reviews… that and I’ll get to change my review. I mean beside the settings the lights are amazing and everything else is great! (Ps if you make it so the people can edit it themselves and share what they did on your app then you don’t even need make any setting they will do it for you! You just need to make it so they can)

Minimal user functions for this app. Want to rename a light set? Want to delete one from the app after it fails? Want to remove a named group? Want to remove a light set from a group? Want confirmation of which light sets are being controlled? Want to be able to read the serial numbers of the controlled light sets which use a TINY low-contrast blue font on black background? Not in this version you can’t. If and when you connect to a string, the lighting effects are great. It is nice to control the speed as well. But the usability of the app for multiple sets at once is horrendous due to basic lack of functionality.

Unhappy. Hello Mark, I recently purchased your AMBOther under glow lights. They worked for one day by the app. The next day nothing. We have to use a switch just to make the lights come on. The Key Phob does not work. When trying to use the app there is a delay or no response. When wanting to change colors it will no respond to some colors. It’s almost like someone has control of my lights. The bright glow is also gone. The lights are dim even when I try to make them bright. I’m a very unhappy customer. Talking to my technician. He explained that the brain might be bad.

No holiday settings. There are no holiday settings. This app would be sooo much better if you could had settings for holidays. You can’t even choose a color sequence that you want e.g. red, white and blue for 4th of July etc. there are a few multi color sequences but no good ones why??? The lights are cool but without holiday settings or being able to choose what you want makes it useless. Please add this feature then I could give you at least a 4 star. 5 star if the lights could be brighter. Even on the brightest setting not very bright.

Not functional. It only has crappy presets and it doesn’t let you use the full capability of the light. I have the hexagon wall lights and you are supposed to be able to have multiple colors per hexagon but this bad app only lets you have 1 color per hexagon. The app itself is trash the colors are completely wrong. Whoever made this app needs to let us control the presets and make custom presets. That’s literally the whole reason I got the lights. It isn’t that hard to let us make custom presets so I don’t understand why it isn’t already in the app. I already know the devs aren’t going to read this but hopefully someone else can so they don’t waste their money on these lights.

Horrible Customization. We want to be able to make our own color functions so we can use the full capability of the lights that we spent our money on. If you add another tab that allows users to enter whatever they want instead of having to use the preset functions then you’ll have a huge increase in your ratings.

Waste of money and time. Don’t listen to the people saying this product is actually good. I spent 2 hours of my time trying to connect 2 led strips together, only for the connection to keep loading and show up as connected in my settings in Bluetooth. 3 of the LED lights toward the end of one of the strips wouldn’t stop being red. There’s no support or explanation of how to connect to multiple strips. The UI in the app is horrible. Looks like it was made in 2007. There’s alternatives, it’s time to take a look at them. Because I just wasted my money and time on this dumb product.

Okay app. The app is somewhat okay not the best but not the worst, the thing is when you have two lights, it becomes difficult to change the lights separately. Also, sometimes the app doesn’t want to connect to the light making it hard to change it after someone on another device changed it. I like the different moods and lighting, but I hate that you can’t name your lights to know what light your controlling, or give the lights a different number/letters for the light

Usable. I don’t understand the very low ratings but the apps works fine for me I just think people don’t know how to use it. The ui isn’t the best but the app does everything as intended with music option working very well especially with the rhythm option. The issue is likely for people in the lights they buy and how they install them

Janky - Doesn’t Work. Came with a corner LED light. Doesn’t connect or pair with the LED when I can connect to it in my iPhone. Doesn’t authenticate, which could be a problem. The app is terrible. It has a delayed input, it doesn’t explain itself at all, and all the options are useless if it can’t connect/work at all with the light. Light works okay by itself: remote does not work either. So, a crappy app for a sub par product.

Horrible app. The remote to the lights gets the red and green mixed up on - the app and remote control. The app quit working, so I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, and it won’t even show up in my Bluetooth settings. So now I can’t use my remote to do all the functions to physical remote cannot do. In theory these lights are awesome, but you can’t do any Christmas settings like red and green or white and red. there’s a lot to be desired with these lights, especially how much I paid for them. This Chinese app is horrible and whoever designed it should be fired.

It’s 25 bucks and worth it. The way I see it brunch is 3x this price for 1 …… 25 nicks for led strand to line the pool area for parties and programmable is a no brainer. Ps for the nerdy ppl;) if you have a raspberry po or frequently analyzer… or look on the tag you can creat some awesome things. #bougie #engineer #hostwell

I’m guessing this is a universal light control app?. Seems like a lot of these reviews are for light control for different products but using this app. I, personally, use it for custom door sills for my Tesla. Purchased them from AliExpress and this was the app that controls the lights. They actually look amazing contrasting with my interior when I open my doors! Simple, yet very clean and opulent. Pros: - Very simplistic interface - Easy to understand without instructions - Lighting is very bright with vibrant colors - Makes the car look even more luxurious Cons: - No options to customize your own color combinations - Each connected device must be on to update any new settings - No options to turn off the colorful startup boot sequence Conclusion: While some improvements can be made, this product does what it’s intended to do. I did not buy this for my vehicle expecting Philips Hue grade options and controls. The lights simply light up to whatever I set it to. Only didn’t give it 5 stars due to the limited customization options but hopefully this comes in a later update.

Doesn’t connect to Google Home.. I only bought these lights and app because it claimed to connect to Google Home. Now I have 20 meters of useless lights…

Help. APP NOT WORKING saying it’s coneted but nothing is working please help

Useless. My remote that came battery less, I mean why put a piece of clear plastic to remove before you use your battery if there isn’t one? I down loaded the app, dosnt work, remote dosnt work, I have 2 brand new top brand name battery’s. The only way I could get mine to work was by moving the wires gently at the base, that’s it!

Wasn’t working. My remote wouldn’t work. The app wouldn’t work. None of the lights work. I removed the yellow wire and just kept the red one. The positive then everything started working. App start working remote start working.

Amber Patterns. This needs amber flashing patterns.

Custom mode. Would be awesome to make custom pattens otherwise so far it’s worked as expected

W app. I love all the different things you can do with the app much easier then tryna figure out the remote five stars from me :)

Broken. The colours in the app and the lights don’t match anymore. You can only set solid colours and not your own patterns. The preset patterns are ugly.

Perfect. All you need so many colour options and styles. Bluetooth was easy. Way better than the remote

Colours are off and sound match are way off. Just everything about this is off putting. Like this app is just useless 100% useless. Just use the trash remote that comes with it, at this point

DIY options for colours. Product is great however a simple DIY colour selection option on the app would make your product stand out the most, a true titan. The alternative a different companies device that includes DIY patterns as I think that option benefits both casual use for myself and a professional use for led displays.

You should add an diy mode. Y’all should add an diy mode for the rgbic led’s that would be pretty cool

No instructions on how to connect. Very poorly made app with no instructions , very clunky

trash. doesn’t even have single colour fade... pretty much the most basic option. hopefully this app gets updated soon. as others have said, being able to customize your own patterns would be perfect.

Fun !!. I love this app with my led lights but I wish there was a pause option for speed as at 0 speed the light still move a little bit. I would like to use scene colours and modes without constant movement. Other than that the app works great and I love my lights!!

Works well. Have had the lights and app for a year. Lights and app work really well on the outside of my house in Canada even at -30 to +40. Honestly not sure about some of the negative reviews. I would love a few more design options and hope the awesome app designers may accommodate in the future? Maybe holiday themes? Maybe simpler more subtle light changes to accent the house but not draw too much attention? Well done team.

Make sure it’s really plugged in tight . Like really in there.. Was very mad cause I thought it was a rip off scam and didn’t work so I stopped caring and just stopped being gentle and pushed the plug in good and it’s perfect now. Honestly a great little light when you are patient and figure it out. Now it’s time to figure out how to make it work on my apple home settings ☺️ good product . Thank you

Way better than the remote.. Great app mush easier than the remote. Would be nice if the scheduling timer for the on & off would stay saved. But I’m trying to work through it. Also more lighting sequences would be great like a Christmas setting & Festive type easy settings but it’s very workable.

App Does Not Work. Bout the lights an they are great but when you pick one color on the app the lights show another color. Example if I pick red in the app the light will turn green can you please fix this also give us an option to customize our own color rows

App disappoints. The music feature is terrible, there are many different settings for light transitions yet hardly are satisfactory. To top it off, when you leave the lamp untouched for just a few minutes it switches settings

Nice. Honestly, I don’t get why this app only has 2.2 stars I’ll give it at least a 4.5. It works amazingly sure the audio is a bit messed up but overall I like it. Nice work

app is disappointing.. All I want to do is change the color pattern to red, white, and blue in either race or flow. But you cannot select your own color pattern. There is no option for selecting your own pattern or the colors of that pattern. This app is disappointing. Also if you try to select colors, the colors get all screwed up.

Idk what the title should be. Whenever I get on the app I can't do anything I can't turn off my light and I can't change the colors so it just makes me upset that it doesn't work.

Could you add a Halloween light set (orange and purple)?. Bought this for my camper to take my kids on a Halloween camping trip. Was upset to see you can’t easily pick two colors and put them in a rotation. Seems like a very simple fix.

Terrible. What even is this???? There aren’t that many colors, and the microphone doesn’t even work!!!! And get more songs!!! Or let the lights connect to the songs we wanna play on our playlists!!! Please do some sort of update to fix everything that everyone has been pointing out ( and the shake thing is just stupid- )

Would get. Awesome app I love the light thing that you use with the app is so fun. I would recommend getting it.

Hate them. Only half my lights are working. Had paradise grills send me out 3 more Strands and they all have the same problem. Have two sets on my bar and can not get them to be on the same color at the same time. Hit green on the remote one is green the other blue hit blue one goes red and the other green. Complete garbage do not purchase.

Stupidest app I’ve ever seen.. Upon downloading the app im immediately greeted with the change color thing. Never any instructions on how to even add my lights to the app. Then when going back and reading the instructions it’s telling me how to add it and the buttons it’s saying to hit aren’t even there anymore. Please go return your lights before you get to deep into it.

Kinda bad. This is not recommended by me. The remote stopped working and I could not find where to get the battery out of to change it. Then the app I use connected to my brother's light and will not connect to mine even when I try to go to the "my devices" because it shows NOTHING. do notboy this. Not worth the money.

Great. I had no trouble at all hooking these up, I see a lot of bad reviews but I have no problems they are way cool. Just wondering though if you can put them outside.

Barely Basic, Few Options App. Can only get a few presets and cannot change colors example: No red, green, and white combinations for Christmas. If I change style, preset colors show, no options, only depth of color. Also, cannot change on off schedule. Sorry I bought these lights and very expensive to install.

Not working after time.. Ive had this app for a little over 3 months, working with my LEDs installed in my vehicle. Ive left the color on one solid color for about a month & never changed the color since. Recently, tried to change the color & the app is no use anymore. Help.

One side only works right. When you plug in other side it starts flashing so I said it’s wiring lights let me switch sides and it worked flashing on other side worked fine something wrong in box now several hours later now I’m going to have to remove and replace wasted time on cheap stuff won’t recommend

Work decent. Work pretty good, my only complaint, is that you can’t get a solid color at start up, it have the rainbow color first, before going back to the solid color that I set it as

Worked before but doesn’t now. I’ve got rock lights on two vehicles and they worked 4 months ago. But now I’ve got headlights that use this same app and now none of them work. The app won’t even let me add new devices and won’t even connect with the old ones. I didn’t have an issue until now.

Need better UX design. There should be an option to delete/troubleshoot lamps or lights that unlink. I cannot get one of my lamps to work and now it’s stuck in one mode. I’ve unplugged and deleted the app. Nothing will work. Please fix this.

Needs an update. The preset and classic options do not match up with the colors. I press the option for white and it turns blue. I have two synced up together and one turns one so I have to turn it off to turn them both back on and they then turn on a totally different color than what is selected. Update the app and fix the bugs!

Barely works, horrible app. This app barely works. One minute its connected to the device next minute the device no longer is connecting and can’t reconnect. I’m going to take my car back to get the lights removed and installed from better company.

Works just fine. I’m not sure how the app’s ratings are so low. Once I set up my lights, the app automatically paired- and it’s so easy to change the colors. User friendly and I love it!

Guessing the color. When I started using the lights I was able to click on a color and it would appear on the LEDs but now the colors do not match up to the color I click on the app. I click on green and it gives me orange.

HIW GREAT. this was an easy app to get through it took me a while to set up the leds but overall a great app in my opinion

Good but janky. I got this light today, but the lights get the opposite hues, and I haven't had these lights for more than 4 hours, but, It I possible to use around that problem, and it makes colored light like it's suppose to so yeah, I just hope can fix the opposite light thing soon...

Works immediately, and really well!. Everything in the app works; I wish there were more customization options, or a way to choose one’s own color for the patterns.

Horrible Customization. We want to be able to make our own color functions so we can use the full capability of the lights that we spent our money on. If you add another tab that allows users to enter whatever they want instead of having to use the preset functions then you’ll have a huge increase in your ratings.

It won’t connect to Bluetooth. There is literally no way to get it to connect to Bluetooth. I gave her permission but it won’t recognize any nearby devices… I wish there was some kind of fix for this.

Needs a major redesign and update. When I first downloaded the app. It worked fine. But for nearly a year now the colors on the device don’t match the app. If I select Green, the lights are Red. If I select Blue the lights are Pink. There have been Software updates for “Bug Fixes”. But it never fixes this problem.

Kinda Weird but. I just got my light kit installed for this app and I constantly keep catching my lights being on when the app says they’re supposed to be off. I do not know why this would be happening but a fix would be appreciated.

it’s great but.... If you go to the mic thing and put it on the external mic u can’t change the mic sensitivity because it’s located at the bottom overlapping the buttons to switch the mode

Ugh. The fact that you both said you have over 16 million color combinations and no holidays or Fourth of July or anything else useful is astonishing. I bought this set to use it because I do a lot with veterans and I cannot do red white and blue. How is that not even available? Fix it and I will fix my rating

Cool but colors weird. This app is cool to control my lights. but if I turn it red on the app it is green irl and if I turn it green on the app it turns red irl. Also when I got it one of the lights were already broken!

Good job but looking for customization. How can I have separate light color on a separate hexagon l. Like 10 whites and 2 reds in set of 12?

This definitely needs and update. I like how u can customize this it’s cool but this app is kinda bugged… the color I pick it a completely different color on the led light… so I gotta bunch of different colors to find the right one. Ig it’s ok if u wanna turn off the led light or dim it while ur bed but all the other stuff is bugged out

Magic lantern doesn’t connect to my smart lights. This app seems so good but I when I open the app and try to connect it will not connect to my novostella smart led lights. My lights works with the lotus lantern app. It doesn’t work with the magic lantern app. This is why I gave 1 star. Hopefully they can look into this and fix it or add all the effects into the lotus lantern app.

Movies???. So on the box it said movies and I still don’t know what to do for it I went to the help page in the app and there’s nothing about it so I’m just confused

Good app. Haven’t had an issue with this app so far and it has a lot of customizability

Fun lil app. Great options always being added too. So many great ways to customize your lights. Its a free app with no ads. Its not gonna have the fanciest ui. But it works great

Bad ligths. I haven't had them for two months and they turn on by themselves. I have programmed a time to turn them on but they turn on at any time. I turn them off and later they turn back on. It's a real headache.

Needs better music controls. So the app works great controlling the lights. Lots of functions for how to control them and set the lighting. The downside is for the music it’s very limited. There is no way to go and select a playlist and have it work with that or select the music source say from another app like Sirius.

DIY NOT. This app does not allow you to create your own patterns or have any running lights of the colors you choose. They are only pre-programmed patterns. they should allow us to choose the colors that we want on their patterns, but that is not allowed.

Pretty cool app to set on timer. I use this for some lights in my front porch. I have it set to turn on in the night and off in the morning. A nice orange/yellow glow. Works great!

So many bugs app barely works. Won’t even let me connect to my lights after the first time connecting and I’m right beside them. I went through the instructions and get exactly what it said won’t let me add a new Even though it gives the option to or review old lights

Please give us the ability to customize lights. Gradient patterns with custom color selections, and any light patterns you want with the existing options. That would be amazing and it would change peoples lights. This is an important feature missing. Customization! Please bring it to the app.

Needs fixing. The bugs on this app are terrible, i have a led emblem that connects through the app but everytime i turn it on it never connects and turns on. It stays off and i have to deal with it because i spent good money on a product for the app not to work

Works as advertised. The critical reviews on here are much. This app and lamp both work great! Easy set up, easy download, done and content before coffee finished brewing.

Nice but weird. Auto connected to my phone when it installed, do anyone could probably connect to it. Also the music function does not work, music does not play and lights don't turn on.
