Won’t Open. My app is up to date, but with the last few updates it won’t open at all or has issues trying to open with a flashing screen. It’s nice to have the app, but it’s useless if it won’t open or take more than 5-10 minutes of a flashing screen to figure itself out.

Fix it.. This app would be amazing if it actually worked. It never allows me to sign in without some kind of an issue, and when I do sign in it doesn’t load my orders. I can’t process orders from it either without issues. I eventually give up and use my computer. Please update your app and fix the bugs.

Super glitchy. I don’t know what happened with this new update, but it’s glitching out so bad that it won’t even open. I thought maybe it was my phone or I wasn’t connected to the Wi-Fi or something but it’s just flashing at this point.

Why there’s continuous issues with this app?!!. When it works it’s great but that doesn’t last long because it keeps logging me out and when I manage to log in again it deletes everything that was on my cart! Yesterday it did it again and logged me out but the new thing now when I try to reset my password I never receive the reset password email and it’s been 2 days already!

Links. When I sign in none of my account information is linked. I have tried linking my membership and it will not work so since I’ve renewed my membership it won’t let me add my membership card to my Apple wallet. Please fix all the bugs. I shouldn’t have to add my credit card and membership card to order from the app when it should be there under my account when I sign in.

Can’t log in. 1/9/24 Update: Still cannot log into the app. Absolutely useless. Original review: I was able to create an account and start a membership, which I was able to use for the first time last week. Since then, I can’t log into the app. It’s a virtual paperweight until they fix it.

Love but lacks reliability. I love this app, when it is working. Search, wishlists, ratings, membership access, store, etc. are easy to use and great! However, more times than not the app never loads, despite uninstalling, rebooting, Face ID, or not, wi-Fi or direct it just doesn’t matter. This is across my device and my husband’s too. Therefore reliability is lacking for me and I am unable to use it as intended. I sincerely hope a fix comes quickly!

Horrendous. The app is extremely slow if/when it decides to work. Makes you sign in EVERY TIME you want to use it instead of allowing users to stay signed in. Search functionality is subpar. It often will display no results unless you type in the full and complete title.

Use the b&n website, NOT the app. The app is very glitchy and it is very hard to put gift cards in, but when I use the normal website it works perfectly, please everyone, use the b&n website (b&n.com) it’s just like the app but much better

Have not been able to use. This app is so glitchy and overall needs a lot more work. I have not been able to access anything as the screen repeatedly goes white then goes to the loading screen just to glitch back. I’ve updated, removed the app and redownloaded it to no avail. I wanted to look up some books to preorder while I’m away from home and my computer. Pretty sad when I have to go to google and do it the long way when an app is available. Not impressed with this as Barnes and Noble is such a large company and they should be more proactive for their members online shopping needs.

Horrible App. The B&N app has to be the one most frustrating apps I’ve ever used. It is extremely laggy and due to this, not user friendly. I’ve had books in my cart randomly removed/added multiple times. I’ve been randomly logged out while trying to purchase books. Multiple attempts of logging in and never getting through past the log in page. Yes, I simply can go into a store and buy the book, but considering some books are out of stock locally, it would be nice to be able order them.

Really Crappy App :(. So I just signed up for B&N rewards, I did so in an actual location, it was a fairly easy process in store. I was told I can link my card to the app and shop online, so what did I do ? Download the app with excitement to link my rewards card and irresponsibly spend my money on books. BUTTT like anything in this world I ran into problems I could not log, after what felt like years but just an hour I finally was logged in and set to go ape wild with book purchases. I began to use the “wishlist” feature as I have tons and tons of photos of books I want in my photo album labeled “TBR”. It was fantastic until it wasn’t the app began to slow and glitch. Although somewhat hesitant I continued on with searching book titles and adding it to my list. After maybe a half hour, if I am being gracious with the time, the app stopped working completely. I give it a rest as I felt guilty making it work hard looking for books, today, a whole 24 hours later I am completely kicked out of the app. Unable to link my rewards or do any book searches I am deleting this from my phone and NEVER downloading again. I should have read the reviews before downloading because this was truly disappointing.

Heavy glitching, Book ordered and never arrived.. As someone who heavily enjoys reading and writing, I bought two items off of this app with a gift card. It’s one being a paperblanks journal, and item two being a book. The book never arrived, but the journal did after an incredibly long amount of time to the point I forgot I even ordered it. I’m still not sure if the money was returned to my gift card as of right now. Today I opened up the app and it just keeps showing the logo, a loading white screen, and then the logo again. I absolutely love Barnes & Noble, and I also love reading. And having items shipped to you seems to make things easier, but a lot of the issues with this app aren’t worth the hassle. If you can, I’d recommend a physical location as opposed to the app.

Can’t Login. I don’t know what’s going on, but I just downloaded this new app and am trying to log into my account, but it won’t let me. It just keeps loading and loading. Why did you force us to download a new app if it isn’t even going to let me use it?

LOVE THIS. I love that I can see the prices on the app and I can see a bigger selection of books without having to walk around a store

App is useless. The app is pretty much useless at this point. When I try to add a shipping address it will keep making me type it in but won’t let me move on to payment and the rest of checkout. It’s getting really annoying. The app also deleted ALL my wishlists and saved items. I’ve updated the app and everything but nothing works. App. Is. Useless.

Come on…. I don’t know what is going on with this app, I have a Barnes & Noble account but it will not let me reset my password. It keeps saying to use an email associated with the account even though I have used both and it will not move forward with changing the password. When I try searching up specific book categories it will only give a certain amount of options, and if I want to search at a specific location for books I have to sign in to do that, but cannot access my account at all. I’d rather use the website than the app honestly. This is the third time I’ve downloaded this app hoping for a better improvement.

Can't even log in??. I just recently created my rewards account and was having issues here, so I tried creating it on their website and then signing in here, it simply will not let me in. I sit loading at the login screen only for it to time out and stop trying.

Glitches. Constantly get signed out of the app. Unable to delete items from my save for later list. When I try to add things to my cart from my saved for later list, it says added to cart but it doesn’t actually add. I’ve tried updating and deleting and reinstalling since the update but I’ve seen no change.

Needs serious improvement. Won’t open, won’t let me log in, will randomly boot me out. I really want to like this app and appreciate the advances B&N is making to step things up, but all the patience in the world wouldn’t help me put up with its godawful glitches. I don’t know what’s taking so long to get this app in order but I REALLY hope something’s being done to fix this.

Use gift cards in app. I was very disappointed that I couldn’t use my gift cards in the app. I could only change my payment method to another card or view a physical gift card balance. All my gift cards were loaded electronically into my account so not helpful. 😢

Worst app experience. This is one of the worst app experiences I’ve ever had. This app never works. It is slow and force quits constantly. If I press sign in it will buffer and then force quit again. I can tell you right now if this app worked properly I would be spending so much more money with Barnes & Noble, but every time I go to order it’s a problem. I read a bunch of reviews with similar issues and B&N’s response is that their aware of these issues… these issues have been around since the launch of this app so respectfully hire some new app developers. I don’t understand how you’re still having these issues. Every other book app I use for ordering works seamlessly. This app is a nightmare.

Go home app, you drunk. I’ve had the app for about a year and when it works, it’s an awesome app. I use it mostly to pull up my rewards to scan in store and keep track of what books I need in a series and if my local store has it in stock. Once again, after a “bug fix” update, it’s stopped working properly again. I used to log in, and then be logged in for over a month at a time. Now I have to sign in every-single-time and it doesn’t even “remember this device”. I’ll be on the app switch to something else and switch back within 2 minutes tops and it is having me sign in again. Other times it will tell me every single location near me is sold out of every book I looked for. I recently decided to start the S Maas books and was looking to complete my set of Throne of Glass about 2 days after the launch of her newest book. App said it was out of stock everywhere. Had to call the store and they were heavily stocked in her books. This is a big issue for me because I live in rural area that the closest BN is an hour away. I’m uninstalling for now. Hopefully a new update will fix this issue.

Use the website instead. The app is buggy. You may not be able to login at all. In my case, attempting to login results in the loading indicator to appear indefinitely. I verified my credentials by logging in on the website. That works. My recommendation is skip the app and use the website instead.

New update ruined it. App was fine and working great when I first downloaded it not too long ago, but I guess it got updated recently and now the app doesn’t even work. Nothing loads: the cafe, my order history, I tried redeeming a new gift card and the screen never loaded, couldn’t even check a gift card balance. Went to the help center and that didn’t help. The help center would direct me to the same page that said I had to sign in to check order history even if I didn’t click on wanting to check my order history in the help center. I hate having to login in every time I exit the app. I’ll sign in on the app, then get a text message and check that without closing the Barnes and noble app, and then go back to the app within 30 seconds and I have to sign in again. Also my wishlists aren’t saved at all.

i just want this app to work!. having a functioning B&N app would be so useful for me but this really just doesn’t work right now. it constantly stutters and crashes, logs me out multiple times per day and clears my cart and my saved for later lists, it makes shopping B&N online a total pain. please fix!

Only suited for a Phone. So, I downloaded the app on my newly acquired iPad and it looks like it’s’ only suited for a phone. I looked for the app ‘for iPad’ but I guess there isn’t one? Annoying, but it seems to work fine. I would recommend only using a computer to access B & N though if your wanting to see the site on a larger screen.

please fix bugs!!. at first when I got this a few months everything was working perfectly. lately though it has started to glitching a lot. everytime I log in, I’m never actually logged in. I can’t see my wishlist or rewards or anything else that is in my account because it says I’m not signed in even though I am. please fix this Barnes and noble!!!

Deleted my wishlist!. This app needs new and better developers because I updated the app and it deleted my entire wishlist. Not only that, I have to keep signing in every time I open the app or hit a new icon to even look for books. Who wants to sit there and do that just to look for new books? This rating is more of a 0 star than even a 1 star.

Again the app is costing the company business.. If I could give 0 stars at this point, I would. I too, as others, am getting the “flashing Logo” scree. Before I receive a reply telling me to remove it, restart my device, and download again, I have done that-three times now. This is clearly an issue with the app.

Cannot login. Found a book that is ONLY available with B&N Nook. Downloaded the book app and created a login but then received error message stating there was an issue. Went to the B&N website and logged in, bought the digital copy of book and then it wouldn’t load in nook app. I’m assuming it was because of the error. Downloaded just the B&N app and it said invalid password when logging in so I changed my password and it immediately said invalid password. Double and triple checked and spelled everything correct. Changed password AGAIN and still won’t let me in and now my account is locked. Book was bought but cannot access it so I just give up. Worst app I’ve ever tried.

Great when it works but too bad that’s half the time. This app is so unreliable now. Ever since the update a week ago I can’t log in, and the app gets stuck loading to the point the screen flashes. Honestly there’s no point even having an app since every other update ruins the app for most users it seems, we’re better off sticking to the webpage.

Flashing screen. As other people have reported, the app will not let me log in and I get stuck on the flashing logo screen. I tried rebooting my phone and deleting/reinstalling the app and nothing seems to be working. I’m not sure if this is due to the most recent update or what, but even after the apparent ‘bug fix’ this seems to still be happening to a lot of people. I hope this gets fixed soon.

The DoodleBob of Apps. When it works, it works, when it doesn’t, it doesn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk why it has been so finicky lately. I’ve had this app for forever and the past month it’s had more issues than in the whole history of me having it. This is a rating of just the app, not Barnes & Nobles as a store.

Unable to add content. I have this app and the iPad nook app and I have been able to add any new books to my app for a long time. Every time I try it gives me the “ this app does not support the downloading of this content” message. How are people supposed to add new content if this shows up. Can u please fix ur bookstore. It has been messed up so long that my password expired.

Can’t even open the app anymore. I have 18 books in my cart and was going to buy them when it randomly crashed. I can’t even open the app anymore. I stopped trying to open it for a while but when I started to again I was logged out. This was fine and it’s normal. But, when I logged back in, it crashed AGAIN. It’s defiantly the amount of books I have in my cart, because it doesn’t crash whenever I have less than 10. Please fix this!!

A fine app. I haven’t had a problem with the app in terms of UI or crashes. I’m mostly pleased but I do have one suggestion I’d love to see, and think others would like it, too. I would very much like to be able to see my purchase history from in the store in the app. Surely it wouldn’t be too difficult? That alone would make this app perfect and I wouldn’t have any complaints ever as far as app capabilities. I love B&N so I buy a lot of books and would love to be able to check if I bought something with a quick app opening and glance rather than tracking down books or finding a receipt.

bugs. I have used this app for about a month. Can’t give as much feedback but I do have some stuff to say about this app. There is a little bit of glitching when it comes to adding stuff to the cart but my books either arrive on time or a couple days before. I have loved this app since then. Other than just a few bugs and a lottle bit of lagging this app is amazing

What’s happening?. I used to really love the app, but now It won’t let me even open it. Every time i try to open it, the logo just flashes uncontrollably. I tried to wait out the flashing logo, but it didn’t stop or change pages. I waited about 15 minutes before giving up and closing it again. I’ve tried for the past 2 weeks to open the app (the last time being a few minutes ago) and there hasn’t been any change or improvement 😢

2.5 ⭐️ App definitely needs a tune up. This app is great when it works, lately it has been glitching and very laggy when trying to remove things from cart etc. it will also sometimes log you out which can be frustrating, but this app truly does have potential to get better and I’m surprised its not given how popular Barnes & Noble is. I feel like it would be in the company’s best interest to fix this app so that more online orders can be placed. It’s not a terrible app but it does need a lot of work.

Can’t even log in.. I can log into my profile just fine on a web browser but the app will not let me. I checked the email and password three times. I even tried to reset my password and the app said that the email does not match an account, when I know for sure that is my email attached. I would love to have the ease of looking up books through an app but will stick with the web browser that seems to work reliably.

Never works. This app never works, you can’t sign in and even when you do it’ll sign you back out. Wishlist never loads. I mean you’d think the company would take it more seriously with how many people use apps to purchase and track their wishlists. Even when they fix for a day it ultimately goes back to trash. Just awful overall.

Perfect app except you can’t sign up for an account. I’ve been trying for weeks to create an account so I could get a premium membership, but every time I try the app tells me the password is expired due to inactivity (note: the password is all but a minute old). I thought it was a server issue and would retry every few days, uninstall, reinstall, etc. Horrible first minute experience.

Can't search in-store?. The old app could, if I recall, search individual stores to see if the book you wanted was in stock. This one cannot. As that's the primary reason I need this app, there isn't much point to it.

Logged out, can’t get back in. I loved this app when they first dropped it, but now after the update it has logged me out and said my password expired? Never in my life have I had a password “expire”. Then, when attempting to re-enter my information, it gives an error and will not send the email to reset it. Now I’m unable to access my account at all. B&N, FIX YOUR APP.

SECURITY BREACH - DON’T USE THIS APP. This app has never been that great over the past year and a half that I’ve used it but just this week I had my account hacked TWICE, despite changing my password and restricting my account after the first hack. Both of these hacks occurred immediately following the use of the app. That tells me that they’ve had a major security breach, and I want to warn everyone to stay away from this app or your account might be hacked too!!! Devastated that B&N did me dirty

I wish I could rate higher.. When it works, it works well! But more often than not I always run into problems while using this app — mostly glitches, lagging, what-not. As it stands, you’re better off logging on through your browser or heading straight into a physical store.

This App Needs a Lot of Work. The app is not very intuitive. It’s difficult to just browse by categories, it’s difficult to browse in general if you’re not searching by a specific title for a specific book. Why does the app log you out automatically after some time? It’s an app on my phone, I promise you we’d prefer to stay signed in. My account has my purchase history, the app knows what things I commonly search for…yet it’s unable to provide curated recommendations based on my history? What’s the point. 50% of the time the app is laggy and slow and when you search you get this “hold on we’re checking the back”. It’s just ridiculous to me that in 2024 companies can throw such little money on their digital platforms and experiences.

Constant Glitches. I used to love the Barnes and Noble app and really enjoyed using it to shop online or scan my rewards in store. However, the past couple of weeks, the app performance has been terrible. I’m unable to login, and it constantly shows just the loading screen. It’s very disappointing because I’m unable to redeem my rewards in store. Awful user experience overall.

Forgot this in my first review…. Please add an easier list feature so I can quick add books to different (wish) lists that much easier without the need for pointless extra clicks ie let us add lists and add them straight to those rather than to the wish list then our chosen list

Can’t read books, no customer support. The Nook app hasn’t existed in the Apple store for over a week, and customer support hasn’t gotten back to me in that time. Why get this app to buy books you can’t read? Very frustrating experience - they took my money and gave me nothing but emails that tell me to go places that don’t exist. Not even links! I’ve had to search for everything myself, only to find … nothing.

Nook app not available in Canada. I was ripped off by these people only to find out I need another app to read my bought book. It said that their nook app isn’t available in Canada. Why have it so that Canadians can buy books on this app in the first place?

They bill but don’t deliver. I purchased an electronic version of a book. They immediately billed my card but when I try to open it, I get a “this is not available in your region”. Which is Canada. There was no warning about this. When I registered on their site, I would hope they would have warned me not to proceed. But they charged me in Canada no problem. There is no way to get actual help from them that I can find. No phone number or email. Just a FAQ section. I guess this is part of their business plan. If you cannot contact them, you cannot ask for a refund. So 1 star for horrible customer service and no stars for not delivering what they charge for.

App. I like the old app better then the new one also the odd app logo was also better

ebooks. When purchasing ebooks they can only be read using the B&N Nook app - which sounds like you have to download as a separate app. Wish they would consider including an epub link to the books on the invoice so customers have the option to download the book to their desired app, ie Apple Books or similar. If the above isn’t possible, please consider adding a link on the B&N app to access my digital library. It’s a pain to try and navigate just to access my ebooks.

Impossible to get the app. Doesn’t work in Canada 😑

Impossible to login. Every time I try to login, I have to reset my password and then it tells me that password matches the old one. I also have to keep picking a different security question and answer… not a fan

Literally won’t even let me sign up. I just got the premium membership in store and they recommended the app. So I downloaded it and was trying to make an account. It literally won’t load after I type all my info. I’ve tried it multiple times. I gave up. App deleted. Hoping the app can get fixed, I’d love a B&N app!

Very disappointed. Everything was great until I opened the app today and everything off my wishlist disappeared, everything in my cart and my order history. And no I am not signed out. I am so confused and very sad since my stamps are at zero now. This app was also some time laggy so not that surprised but I am still sad.

Very frustrating. At least on the original app I could read my books, if not order. On this new version I can’t do either one. Also, when on my iPad the screen only shows up in the size and shape of my phone.

Lagging & Dysfunctional. Why bother getting the app if it’s not going to work or load right? So inconvenient, might as well just use safari or Google to log in to my Barnes and noble account.

I love barnes and nobles. Look the review is only low because the app keeps having issues but other than that i love barnes and nobles

Can’t even log in. I have a premium account, I changed my password etc thinking maybe that’s the problem. Also deleted and reinstalled the app hoping that would fix the issue. But alas, the app just will not log me in no matter what I do…

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I’ve been trying to buy a books since December 16th I have yet to do that the app keeps crashing and adding things to my craft on its own glitching and won’t let me remove my gift card of my account this app needs so much work and I can’t go in person since my mother refuses to take me. I would give this a zero but I can’t overall raring TERRIBLE

Can’t Even Get In. I can’t even create an account. The app freezes and kicks me out within two minutes. I heard about the app from an email from the rewards system. If it’s this bad, you’d think they’d stop marketing it!

Can’t login. I can’t even login it allows me to open the app as a guest but I don’t want to be a guest I want my account. I want my points. I tried multiple times but it keeps saying an error has occurred please try again; no matter how many times you try it’s not going to work don’t waste your time on this app.

Love B&N but not this app. The app is so flawed that it is hard to even navigate or browse through different pages without having it crashed or behaving erroneously. If I need to purchase something off of B&N , I would either use the web version or go to their store.

Needs improvement. For such a big brand, the app is terrible. Very laggy, often crashes, signs you out randomly, difficult to navigate. Not useful at all. The most recent update has been the worst in fact.

Glitching. Your app is so glitchy. At time I can login in, it’s giving me errors of pages not existing. Just now the app wouldn’t even load. The launch screen just said Barnes and Noble and glitched between a white or black background in a constant loop. I’ll be sticking to the website until you fix this.

Works when it wants to. The app is glitchy and I can’t even open it now. It works fine when it actually works though. It’s frustrating that it isn’t more dependable though.

Super Glitchy. Not even worth downloading. Everything that can glitch will glitch. Get on it, Daunt!! You’re better off just using the website from your phone’s browser.

App access not working. I can access my account online, but this app gives me a “500” error OR it just clocks at login. I have deleted app and downloaded again. Password and I.d. work fine online. The app just won’t open.

Can Never Log In. Got to use it once- when I downloaded it. Once it timed out, I’ve never been able to log in again. It always just says “an error occurred, try again later. “

Glitchy, never works. I have been able to actually open the app once twice. All other attempts end in flickering screen. Amazingly bad. All updates current. Still bad.

Needs improvement. My has been glitching for weeks, has a lot of lag time. when i click on the app it just blinks and never opens. I do love how it saves my searches for books I am interested in.

Fix this app please!. Stop using the “Developer Response” to tell us to delete and reinstall the app. Be a good business and actually fix your product. All of us bookworms want B&N to stay in business and it’s stuff like this that will force us over to Bezos. I literally just want to use the app to see if my local store has a book in stock. Why is it so hard?!!

Terrible. I love Barnes & Noble but this app is garbage. I’ve had it for less than 24 hours and it’s already crashed, I’ve redownloaded it on my phone and iPad with no luck. I was able to utilize the app within the first hour of having it and that was it. I will try again tomorrow and update my review then.

Trash App. All it does most of the time is flash the opening screen over and over again. If I can get in the app it constantly wants me to log in or tells me I have to change my password because of inactivity. Umm, I’m inactive because you won’t let me in!!

No good. I fill in the necessary information to create an account and when all is said and done it gets stuck on create account and won’t do anything after I hit that button.

Sign-outs and glitches.. The app was good when it first started, but now every time I open it, it either signs me out, or begins to glitch on the opening screen. I can’t do anything unless I delete the app and reinstall it, which I don’t want to do every time I want to use it.

It will get you mad. This app literally has never let me use it. Not my rewards not my favorites. Now it won’t even go passed the opening of the app. This isn’t even an app at this point. Who works for you guys?

Won’t Open. It just keeps flashing when I try opening the app. I don’t know if it’s because of the iOS update, but please fix! I want to purchase things from you guys! Also- your website needs some work too!!!

Horrible. I click on the book I want to add to my cart and it addd 16 books I never even clicked on to my cart and doesn’t even add the book I originally wanted! To top it off it doesn’t allow me to pay using my gift card only gives me the option to pay using a credit card. Ridiculous.

Can’t even sign in to the app. I like reading books and this bookstore is one of my favorite bookstore in NYC. However, their app is horrible. I couldn’t even sign in. It just stuck on the login screen all the time. I would suggest to invest some money into your app, hiring professional developers to improve the app performance and functionality.

bug. Cant remove some items from save for later. clicked remove but nothing happened. Please fix.

Most Non functional App on my Phone. I can never use it. I keep entering everything correctly and it will always error logging me in. Even the Touch ID option never works. It makes me want to cancel my premium membership and just not use Barnes & Noble at all.

Server Error message. There is a bit of work needed to make this app useable. It freezes frequently, and login in is a constant receipt of "Server Error". It is sad that Barnes and Noble actually encourages its patrons to download the app to streamline membership benefits.

Laggy, logs you out, and just doesn’t work. When the app does work, it lags. Try to search a book? Nope can’t do that. Oh you’re logged in? Not anymore. Just getting the app to open takes 10 minutes alone.. on a good day. It updated in October to fix “bugs” but honestly it just made the app worse than before.

Pretty Crappy. After the update, when I go to open the app, the logo menu screen just glitches between old and new logo. It was usually bad before. Always logging me out, always forgetting my login, etc. but now it (as stated) doesn’t even load or open. Just flashes.

Can’t use an app that doesn’t open. The app constantly crashes. The last 2 days it doesn’t even open and just flashes at me. And when it does work…it’s slow, glitches, and doesn’t have a good navigation system

Very Buggy. Always have a really hard time signing in and it still asks if you want to join premium when you already have a premium membership

Needs serious improvement. Won’t open, won’t let me log in, will randomly boot me out. I really want to like this app and appreciate the advances B&N is making to step things up, but all the patience in the world wouldn’t help me put up with its godawful glitches. I don’t know what’s taking so long but I REALLY hope something’s being done to fix this.

Impossible to make purchases. I’ve had to call my CC company a few times because the payment gates won’t complete transactions. End up making purchases through other vendors!

Issues. I love the app. But lately all it does it flash when k try to open it. It constantly signs me at as well and will not let me log in. But online I am able to log in just fine.

so many issues. this app is so poorly done. constant crashes. constant glitches. i have had to delete and reload this app so many times. i've had problems with orders going through and purchases being messed up. i wish it would be fixed because the app layout is beautiful and when it does run, it's nice. but that's such a minimal amount of time.

Can’t login. Same story as most other users - impossible to even login. offloaded and reinstalled multiple times and it still doesn’t work. I saw a developers response saying should be fixed now?! Nope. It is not fixed.

Needs A Big Fix. I can’t buy anything on here because it won’t keep me logged in to checkout and I need to be logged in to get the 10 percent off with my membership. Everything else works like searching for products but without the ability to checkout it’s sort of pointless.

Can’t even log in. Been using the app for a while, there was a period of time I didn’t use it since I was so busy with school and now it won’t even let me log in despite resetting my password? Please fix this.

New update. Installed new update and now I get a blank screen when I want to sign into my account. I have a book to return and I can not return to a local store. Book was sent without a packing slip so I can’t even use the order search function.

Won’t open. The last time I tried to open this app it wouldn’t open and would crash to close immediately. They updated it and said try again. It still won’t open and “blinks” like flashing on the main logo but still won’t open.

Does not open thus useless. This app won’t open most of the time. The screen is just white. It doesn’t work. If it does open, it won’t let me sign in. And the last time I actually got to open it said I couldn’t make digital purchases so what good is it??

Fix it. The app is not working after my very first use. I wanted to check my order that I placed a week or two ago and the app just blinks over and over again and does not open.

do not download. i downloaded this app to buy my books and on the website it said one thing and on the app it said another. and the app doesn’t save my login like it’s supposed to. i had to change my password TWICE and still didn’t get into my account.. don’t waste your time downloading the app.

Will no longer be buying from B & N!. I don’t appreciate paying for a book order and having to wait twelve days to receive it! And the real problem is that B & N does absolutely nothing to fix it… Will be buying my books elsewhere…

Unusable. Maybe I’d like the new B&N app if I could log in to use it. Unfortunately, I got nothing but “error” messages after trying to sign into my account four times in a row. The app is aesthetically pleasing, but it also needs to work. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Can’t log in. I was able to create an account and start a membership, which I was able to use for the first time last week. Since then, I can’t log into the app. It’s a virtual paperweight until they fix it.
