Biggest Rip-Off ever! This app stole $20 in coins. I am an avid reader and I have always enjoyed stories and movies about werewolves, lycans and of course vampires. I downloaded the app and began reading. Literally one chapter before it required “coins” to read more. I purchased $20 to be able to read the whole book, never once thinking I wouldn’t be able to considering any bookstore in the world as well as apps such as Barnes and noble, nook, ect…that sell online reading wouldn’t cost nearly this amount. The “story” I was reading literally charged and took all of my funds and not once gave me to option to use them to continue reading ( as one other story did). Your supposed to be able to choose if you want to use coins to continue reading and I’ve never felt so ripped off. Not even half way through the story and it took my entire $20 worth of coins and I never even knew it. I would not recommend this app, not only are the vast majority of stories not worth paying for, but you will get ripped off in the worst way. $20 for 1/4 of a “story” = massive RIP-OFF If I could give zero stars I would, I just hope that people can see this review and beware of this scam!

There’s some flaws, but I still think it’s pretty good.. Like I said in my title, there are some flaws. On some of my other book apps, you can watch videos to get a few of the app currency to be able to pay for the chapters, but I know not all apps are able to run like that. Anyway, I just got the app, so I’m not fully used to it yet, but I don’t think there’s much for you to really get used to. I do think it’s still a good app though, I’ve had worse ones. The writing is a little bad on the grammatical standard, but not everyone is the best at editing and it’s really hard sometimes to find an editor to proof read. Now, do I think it’s worth five stars, honestly yes. But I do think that there could be steps to make it more worthy of five stars, like if there was a chance to maybe watch a video every 3 or maybe 5 hours to get some coins, I feel like that would attract a lot more people to read on the app. But there’s also authors to pay and whatnot, so as I said, not every app is able to run like that.

Wonderful App! One suggestion.. Let me start off by saying I love this app! It’s so cool to read stories from new authors and there’s just about any kind of romance you could want on Dreame. I don’t mind paying for coins and/or watching ads for bonuses as I know the authors deserve to get paid, especially as their quality improves over time. I do have one big suggestion though - similar to another recent review. I really would like to see some sort of organizational system for the library. Right now, it just sorts my books starting with the one I’ve opened most recently. I’d love to have a separate tab of the library for books I’ve completed but want to hang out to, or maybe a way to make “shelves” or my own lists so I can organize my books just how I’d like. I think this would make it much easier to keep track of all the books I’m reading - as I currently have quite a few that I’m shuffling as I wait for updates, save up coins, etc.

Good but needs some work. So this is about the actual app and not the writers or writing. This is an app for new writers, people writing in a second language, amateur writers, and lastly erotica writers. It is what it is. The app: so a big issue for me is the fact I can not delete “wait to read stories” from the hourglass page of the app. Sometimes I will read part of a story and find it not to my liking. I delete it from my library, but it still alerts me that “x” amount of “episodes” (I am not calling these “chapters” because they are too short and don’t even cover a plot point.) I know there are episodes unlocking but that still doesn’t mean I am going to be tempted to read something that I didn’t like in the first place. (I have looked on the app on my iPhone and on the website but I could have missed it somehow.) I also don’t like some of the labels and tags. It seems like authors are able to label the stories at random making it easy to make unfavorable choices. (I have my sexual preference and others do as well, it shouldn’t be confusing to find a story that appeals to me.)

Difficult app that charges full price for rough drafts. This is my second attempt at using this app. I get drawn in through FB ads of stories they give a taste of and I want to finish. However, it is so unnecessarily overly complicated with these coins. There is no clear explanation of how anything works. Also, the majority of the books are very poorly written. Sometimes the storyline is good enough I can overlook the grammar errors, spelling mistakes, and continuity errors. But then I have to try to figure out how to use their ridiculous coin system which I discovered last time costs the same as buying an actual edited and published book. The reason I’m here giving this app another shot is because if you can get past the bad writing these stories can be addictively creative and you cannot find them elsewhere. This time around I spent $3 to buy 300 coins to try it out before spending more and I have no idea what is going on. I cannot purchase anymore chapters after choosing only one and my wallet says I have 1 coin, but another area says I have 311 coins. A bunch of chapters opened up in the book I was reading so maybe that’s where my coins went? But I thought we are supposed to have the option to choose where we spend the coins. That’s how it was last time. I’m at a total loss. Since this app seems even worse than the last time I tried it, I certainly won’t be investing anymore into it.

2 Books In. I just downloaded the app 2 days ago. I like that the books are available to read but have not downloaded the. I started to read 2 books and I’m almost done with 1st book. I purchased coins so that I could judge about how many coins I had to use to read an entire book. So far, I purchased 500 coins and have read a book and 1/3 of another. I like that the more coins you purchase the bigger the discount and bonus coins you get. I like that there are a lot of the same types of books grouped together so that you can keep reading similar stories. I like that you can start to read books and if you don’t like it than you just keep searching. No need to use coins if you didn’t end up liking the book. I don’t like that the chapters are soooo short and you have to use coins to read the next chapter. I don’t think I’d be able to wait (or want to wait) until the next chapter is available to read especially if you’re an avid reader like me. I don’t like all the grammatical errors and typos but I understand that these books might be translated from another language in another country. Overall, so far I say 4 out of 5 stars.

Lovely idea. I love the idea of this app and what it has to offer but I am discovering more issue with it the longer I use it. I love that it offers writers a place to post and put their names and ideas out there. But I dislike that we have to pay for books per chapter or that depending on the story it has a timer that is a longer wait time for every chapter. I dislike that your “daily bonus points” often times don’t show up in my wallet and if they do it’s only in certain books. I hate that there are many books available that have multiple chapters that are the same writing and some books are missing chapters all together. I don’t like that I spend money on a chapter and go back into it later and find that my points are gone and the chapter I unlocked is no longer unlocked. I don’t like that you have to spend your “daily bonus points” within a week of getting them or they just disappear? This is the apps way of making you spend money to get enough points to read A SINGLE CHAPTER. I have tried re-downloading the app and have even gone as far as making a second account on a different device and I have the same issues. I am seriously dealing with this app because I am invested in a couple stories and I will be deleting it once done.

Good Reviews for Coins. Don’t let the other reviews trick you into thinking about getting this app.. I don’t care nor do I want the free coins for a good review, so I’ll leave a cold blunt honest review with the star rating it deserves... Spent quite a few months on here and was happy for a while...until now the last few days having issues loading anything giving me a 505Error message and I’m Really upset that it just randomly started having issues logging in even though I’ve got home internet and plenty of data on my cell. Not to mention all my books and purchased coins have disappeared. They suggest in their reporting an issue tab to try making sure that you are logged in to the appropriate account if linked via Facebook, but even that isn’t working and gives an error message when trying to login... Try to report the issues to them, get a ParamError error message that it can’t be sent at this time. Soooo many stories are left unfinished by the authors, I get that life happens, but pay money for a book only to find out it’s not even halfway finished and the author writes another instead or admits to just quitting to use a different writing app. Or they start writing and want you to follow them on other social media outlets for updates only to find that they’ve quit writing the story completely. Beyond angry right now. Guess I should’ve looked more closely at the other reviews just because they’re 5 stars doesn’t mean they were good reviews

Glitchy app. I’m actually obsessed with this app when it functions properly, a lot of the stories available on it are really good, and I don’t mind one bit buying coin to find out what happens next if a story catches my interest. And I personally actually enjoy paying coin per chapter because if a story starts to lose my interest, then I don’t feel like I waisted my coin on chapters I don’t want to read. But I’ve had SO many issues with this app it’s insane!!! Sometimes it doesn’t give me all the coin I’ve purchased when there’s a sale, it’ll randomly wipe my reading history and jumble up my carefully organized library and mark them all as unread thus losing my spot in book I’ve yet to finish. It’s super frustrating. And they don’t really have customer service, they have somewhere to email “feedback” but they never write back, or try to correct mistakes. Or if they have white others, they never have with me. All in all, I’ve throughly enjoyed dozens of stories on this app and will continue to use it. But I’m giving 3 stars for the apps inconsistency and errors.

Coins are a pitfall. I like the app and the idea. The story I am reading is also good. Some parts are better than others and it’s clear that some chapters are very rushed. There are also more grammatical errors than o care for, but that can be overlooked considering the platform. I do not however care for the current coin set up. I have no issue spending some cash so that the aspiring writers earn something for their efforts. But the cost to unlock the chapters, in total for an entire “book” or series, is quite ridiculous. It shouldn’t cost three times plus the cost of an actual published hardcover book. I’m addition, when you unlock using coins, the numbers of days for the “wait to unlock” feature seems to increase. I recently purchased 1,000 coins (not counting coins I’ve purchase previously) and burned through them fairly quickly as the chapters seem to be quite short in this series. If I wanted to wait to unlock the next chapter, it would be 115 days! 115 days?? That’s just ridiculous and really deters readers from continuing with the app. I’ll be finishing this series, only because I’m invested at this point, and then deleting the app. Highly disappointed.

Wait. This app lets you buy chapters with coins. You can buy the coins or just wait and earn them bit by bit each day. I’ve done both, but I’ve learned that if you buy the coins then you could easily be spending about $20 on half a book with insane amounts of grammatical errors and is written by a person who is most likely not a good enough writer to make it as an actual author. Currently if you wait to earn the coins, you will only be able to read ~2 or 3 chapters per week. Most chapters cost about 20 coins (I’ve seen some go above 50 though) but sometimes you will only earn 4 coins. This was semi okay because they used to give you coins for reading for 15 (5 coins) and 45 (10 coins) minutes. They recently updated it so that they now give you points for reading and then you will need to switch the points into coins, but you now get only half the amount that they used to give you before. And it wasn’t even that much to start with. I’ve been reading on this app for 2 years now and have paid for coins when I found really good books, but this latest version is what’s finally going to make me stop and switch back to a different reading app that uses ads to pay for the chapters instead.

Good stories; but expensive. This app has really good stories. But every chapter is behind a paywall. In order to complete one book it’s close to $50. 31 chapters; 25-35 coins to unlock each chapter. If I could buy the book from the author for a set price that would be so much better. I also wish there was more ways to earn coins for free. After I’m done with the book that drew me in, I’m most likely deleting because of how much of a money grab this app is. I agree with the comment below; if we could watch a 10-20 second ad and earn coins that way I would be all for that. But unfortunately it’s either wait a day for a new chapter or pay a ton of money for a book. It’s upsetting that one book costs so much real money due to the value of their virtual currency. If I would’ve known how much of a money grab this app was I would have just skipped over the ad that drew me in. Also, a lot of words are censored which is super weird. Words such as; licking and bra. I don’t understand why words that aren’t even bad need to be censored which kinda pulls away from the experience as well. Overall; good authors, but a giant money grab.

Amazing reads but the coins are annoying. This app has really interesting books to read , and I really like it , it has ALOT of potential. But the coins are super annoying and it makes me want to read less and go on the app less . I’ve had to stop myself from deleting the app many times. I don’t like having to use coins to read a chapter of the book I’m into, it just takes away from the book itself . Plus when I use coins why does the days I have to wait for a free chapter get longer and longer ? I have to wait a week and four days just to read ONE chapter , that’s kind of ridiculous. It says free ,but it’s not really free...? If you want to read a chapter you have to pay money for coins . It’s really stressful when I just want to chill and read a good book but can’t even get into it because I know I’ll have to wait a week after one chapter to read the next one . The books should be free , you shouldn’t have to buy coins to read a book on an app that says it’s free .

This app is more for writers than readers. I say this because as a reader it’s a terrible experience. Every chapter you have to pay by using coins in which I found not to be worth it because I’ve read a chapter that the author must have tried to make it different but was only a duplicate of another chapter. Also after realizing I’m not crazy and reading comments there is a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes that weren’t something that can go unseen. I read books as much as anyone else but the book I was sucked in by was “marrying the ceo” I believe and it may be my taste in books but it felt terrible with actually keeping me it was like a roller coaster of emotions but not in a good way like the expression of emotions wasn’t clear for me. Yes 300 coins for $2.99 is something but not for everyone chapter especially when you can go own a good book for that price. For me a person who drowns themselves in books it was terrible yes this is only my opinion but beware. I give two star for the creative way of taking people’s money and what story the author tried to tell. If time was take with the book it would be amazing. Also obviously anyone can put there books up here it could be a great way in earning money for first time authors or some starting I guess

Like the stories, hate the app. So far most of the stories/books have kept me reading. There have been a lot of grammatical and spelling errors, which I don’t really mind but you would think they would have someone doing a final review for the authors. The thing that is killing me is that I CANNOT figure out how to navigate this app. I’m not an idiot, nor am I to old to say that maybe I just don’t understand technology… I have spent at least a couple hours trying to figure it all out and it still make zero sense. There are all these daily rewards and such but when I tried to use/claim them it looked like they counted against me 🤷‍♀️🙃 Then there’s the whole, not having ANY idea how to find my profile, library, or suggestions. So I just have to stick to one book/story at a time. I started reading a book that isn’t finished so I now have to wait a week to read the next chapter. I would love to read another story/book while I wait but I’m afraid to because I don’t know how I would navigate back to the story I am currently reading. I’ll keep reading but ugh, this app is PAINFUL.

Nice concept, serious flaws. This is an Amateur writing site, for writers wanting to be discovered. I understand the whole coin system is a way for them to make money but it’s honestly ridiculous. When you go to a store to buy an actual published book you make a one time purchase to read the entire book, not pay for every chapter. If they were to change the way you had to pay for these books it would make a lot more sense, not to mention a lot more enjoyable. I’ll mention that the whole reason I downloaded this app was because I found one of there ads on Facebook. There app had a clip of one story that was honestly extremely poorly written, but the story line was intriguing. So I downloaded the, just to find out the ad didn’t mention any title or author of this story. Which in any case annoyed me because I had to rummage through the comments to find it. They even changed the cover of the story just for the ad. I didn’t look at how you can even get your stories onto this app either but I bet that there are multiple things wrong with that as well. This app is overall a nice concept, but has some serious flaws. If someone is actually reading this review and really wants an app like this I would suggest just downloading watt pad. It allows you to read the same type of material without having to pay for each chapter.

Please Find Another Way. I love the stories so far but I’d like to be able to finish a story instead of just starting a new one because I can’t/don’t want to pay for the next chapters. Maybe an ad instead? Great app, very organized but the fact that I have to put any money towards it to finish a story that has grammar mistakes, repetition of the story, and even two short paragraphed chapters is ridiculous. If they were well know authors I’d understand, but these stories (not all) seem to be thrown together. 2 day wait for 1 chapter? Is absurd! How is anyone ever going to finish 20+ chapters that way? And if you think about it they want all these books to be read yet if you’re waiting that amount of time you’re bound to forget what you started reading in the first place and give up. The fact you can comment on it is great but maybe to help the author the readers could be allowed to highlight certain errors or questionable spots and then have the choice to send them to the author? These books still need a lot of work and shouldn’t expect the readers to be paying for something that’s in progress of still being written, corrected, and modified. Great idea but could be better. Hopefully I can change my rating when the app improves

It would be a 5 if the subscription included free books.. I bought the subscription in hopes to read this book I’m very hooked to. The books is called The Miracle Luna and it is a must read however the author has no control over the price of coins which the coins are worth the read. So me being the person who loves to find loopholes throughout these situation I couldn’t find any. So I bought the subscription in hopes that book would turn to be free which it was not however it gave me an extra 20 coins which I spend in an instant and also spent the 100 additional coins. I just wish there was a way to read these books for a free with a membership so if the developer or customer service sees this please by all means take my review seriously bc I don’t do these often bc I’m bad at grammar however I love the books and love that people are so creative. So just please consider putting all the books free in a different membership like I would pay 20 dollar maybe 30 for a monthly subscription if I can read that book ongoing.

Don’t believe the lies their Facebook add give. As the title suggests I found out about this app from Facebook. On the add I it said it was a great app that you could read free books on and get prizes. Well the truth it that “some” books are free for a short time, but not all like they lead you to believe. Some are free to read a very tiny thing they’re calling a chapter once every day if you’re lucky others take much longer to unlock. And their “prizes” small amounts of coins they use as a currency. You only have so many of those a day you have a chance at as well. I’ve given this thing a month long chance to prove it wasn’t as bad and gimmicky as I thought once I opened it for the first time. It has been nothing if not frustrating. I refuse to pay large amounts of money for their tiny “chapters “ because yes the ones you pay for you pay for each and every chapter! They do have the option to unlock the whole book at once. But the prices for those books are outrageous! One I was reading it would cost $35 to unlock it to the point the author had realest at that point. I understand they need to make money too. However they should be pricing thing more reasonably or offering a monthly subscription that unlocks all their content instead of offering a “discount” as they claim to.

Ideas. Love this app. Has great books. It gets a bit pricey for my budget so I can only read for a specific amount of time at a time. But I also have a suggestion not sure if it’s a thing or not. But can the books be separate. Like if it’s completed or not. I get books ideas from Facebook and when I go to the app all excited to read, some are not completed. If the book is good and the wait time for an update is so long I would have to read the chapters over. I don’t mind but seriously it’s a pain. I have so many uncompleted books in my library waiting for them to be completed and it’s like wow still no update. At this point I’ll definitely have to reread the old chapters just to refresh my memory. Thank you for the great app. Still a bit pricy. There’s a book that has over 1000 chapters I’m sure I won’t complete reading it even though it’s a great story. Only because I’m on chapter 200 and change and already spent over $60 on just this book. I now check the amount of chapters if it’s over 200 and the free chapters don’t catch my attention I won’t pay for it. Just common sense. Also the chapters have been getting shorter in the amount of pages ( the shortest chapter had about 3 pages). I read a book that 2 chapters where of the author asking for suggestions so I basically paid for two chapters worth of suggestions towards the author. I will say that it was smart of the author but not for my pocket.

Great Stories - Issues w/App. This is the first reading app I downloaded and I’ve definitely been addicted from the beginning. Most of the stories are amazing. I’ve read so many great books! Lately, every time I come out of a book, no matter the reason, I lose my place. This I beyond frustrating when I’ve purchased or downloaded the entire book and I have to hunt and flip through chapters to find my spot. Also within last few week to a month, it stopped notifying when a new chapter has been added to an ongoing book I’m reading. There has also been a significant increase in the costs of books, which saddens me greatly! By the time you purchase enough coins to buy entire books, it far exceeds what the typical cost would be to purchase an actual book. Also, I absolutely despise the short time limit you have to use the bonus coins when using a “coupon” to top up!! I try to use them wisely but am often rushed into using them before I lose them. I think it’s unfair that the majority of the top up in this situation is switched to bonus coins anyways, I’ve spent money and earned the points for that top up, it should remain the same balance of coins vs bonus as is when a coupon isn’t used.

Great but could be better.. This is one of my absolute go to for reading. There are some amazing story writers on here. One thing I wish we could do is leave feedback after we finish a story. I have read over 15 stories/ books and several of them have had error after error. There was one I didn’t even finish the spelling and grammar was so bad, and another was so out of order it didn’t make any sense. I understand that these are not edited and published, but as a reader if we had a way to help make them better that would be awesome. I also wish there was a better way to earn or get the coins. Several of the books I have read I bought coins because they were too good to take a break from. I wouldn’t mind paying a small fee for a membership either on unlimited book and no waiting. But the app is super easy to use and navigate through. I also like the aspect that once you find a genre you like it suggests similar books. I’m always at a loss on what to read next after I finish a book but not while using the app. Overall I would recommend but strongly encourage looking into some of the things mentioned above.

Paying for poorly written short stories?. This app is awful. Deleted it as soon as I tried it. Who wants to pay upwards of about $60 to read a short story that has more grammatical errors than content? Or have to click through multiple invasive ads to gather 1 or 2 coins just to read one chapter? Thinking that the chapters would all be 5-10 coins I purchased 300 coins for $3, but they all vanished after I have read about 5 chapters. How is that even possible, you ask? Because after I spent my money the chapters magically became 13-32 coins to unlock! What??? Even more frustrating is the fact that the app is poorly coded and impossible to navigate with any ease. And why would anyone spend $60 trying to read a few chapters with so many grammar issues and continuity errors that you have to read it multiple times just to understand what’s going on? So, which is the better choice. Kindle, Audible, or Barnes and Noble to buy a $12-$15 fully edited and readable book that can be finished without waiting weeks for a new chapter, or $60 for a book that you have to proofread to understand and isn’t even complete? Hi hats a no brained for me.

Not So Happy. Let preface this by stating this is still an ongoing case. Dreame claims to be working on it but this started over a month ago (this is March 2022) and still happening. I used to love this ap but for the past month all they’ve done is fail. First the refreshed/reset the ap and made me re-pay for some of my chapters. When I submitted a ticket for it we went back and forth for over a week before they finally blamed it on the writer. Now my ap keeps refreshing/resetting every day, multiple times a day and they will do nothing about it. Can’t even get a refund for unused coins cause they said it’s not their problem to ask the payment service provider. Then said “besides there are many interesting stories on Dreame…” they went on to ask that I continue to support the up n coming writers, which I’d be happy to do if I could get through a story in peace. Today? I lost my entire library. Now I have to battle with them over that and whatever repercussions come from it. They won’t even offer any sort of incentive for the trouble or to stay, either. I know this because something similar happened to me last year but not to this degree. They told me then, just as they are now, that other people were going through the same issues. It finally did get resolved but they just moved on with out any recognition of the fact that their glitch caused their customers distress in any way.

Great books but problems with app. I have found a lot of great books, as long as you can overlook the language issues (grammar, incomplete sentences, issues when translating to English, etc.); however, most books are pay to unlock and the price is preset by admins so some books, if you buy coins to read, end up costing $30+ to read. That is more than what best selling authors charge to buy a book! If you don’t buy coins but use the ones you can earn daily, it can take months to be able to read an entire book. Additionally, there seems to be a lot of issues with the app itself. It resets at least once a day so all of the books that I am currently reading reset back to chapter 1 like nothing has been read, books/episodes I have downloaded are cleared out, and I have had books disappear from my library. The most frustrating is the downloaded books/episodes disappearing and then the books switches to pay to unlock and I now have to pay for what I previously downloaded. I have sent multiple messages to the admins about this and have yet to hear back. It seems like they don’t really care about the readers that use their app, just the money they can make by over charging per chapter.

Should be free. This kept coming up on my newsfeed on Facebook so I finally read the caption, which ended up being part of a story/book. I got into it and wanted to read more, despite the grammatical errors. I downloaded the app so I could finish the story. It appeared to be a free app which I would figure it would be with all the errors. I figure these are stories from new authors that didn’t have someone read and edit their story for errors . Well, it requires coins for each chapter. Which means you have to pay. I am now invested in this darn story so I will likely pay to read this book, but if you’re going to charge for books, please have them at least be professional. Not sure I’ll read any other books beyond this as it says in the reviews from many others these stories are poorly written with so many errors, it can be difficult to understand at times. At one point they meant to write he more than likely, but they wrote he more than like. They also use the wrong your when it should be you’re . Just things that should be corrected before a book or story is put out. Should be free to read these stories.

Yes and No. I have written and had this review deleted twice now because somebody already has the nickname and it doesn't allow me to change it without deleting everything. So let's try this one last time. It is ridiculous that I have to hive a five star rating just to get coins. There are plenty of sites where you can write and read for free. The concept is great but the downsides are feeling like too much. The amount of books I could have in paperback, holding and permanent, compared to the amount of money and running around I have to do to read one short story is getting ridiculous. There's also the lack of basic self proofreading and editing which can get very frustrating. There are a lot of great concepts and stories started on this site, but I just am feeling like it's not really worth it if it's going to be so controlling. I think I will just finish the ones I started and the free downloads and then will sadly have to walk away.

Dreame editors are not actual editors.. Be very cautious when using this app. If you’ve found a story that seems to be well written, and suddenly you have to pay for the chapters, the chances are that the editing of the paid chapters has gone down. It could either be because the writers are rushing to get chapters out so they get the daily update bonus, are just trying to earn more than the 8-10% from the coins you spend on said chapter, or (hopefully, because I want to give them the benefit of a doubt) English may not be their first language. The Dreame team that approves/disapproves stories from being signed certainly are not the best when it comes to English grammar. Neither am I, that’s why there are editors, however Dreame editors are not editors but promoters. They will do whatever they can to promote a book, and even make it Paid To Read (PTR) before an author is finished writing. Often, the stories that are promoted on Facebook and other platforms are oftentimes unfinished work, where the author quit writing for one reason or another, or rushed the ended to get the “completed story” bonus. On the Dreame app, you read one story, you’ve basically read them all. Do yourself a favor, save some money, and just get books through the Kindle app instead.

Good, but very frustrating!. I saw an add on Facebook... to be completely honest the cute pic is what drew me in. 😝 I began reading & instantly got hooked, and let me tell you, I am not a big reader. Never really was my thing but I was hooked & couldn’t stop reading! As soon as the story stopped and it said to download the app to continue with the story I immediately downloaded it without hesitation. I kept on reading and then the “coin” situation happened! Ugh. You need to buy coins to unlock more chapters if you don’t want to wait x amount of days for each chapter to unlock/be available. Seriously?! I’d rather pay an upfront cost, $4-$5 for a book but this locking the chapters and having to wait days to continue reading or spending an absurd amount on coins really annoys the crap out of me! But lord help me this book is ADDICTING! I’ve been trying to earn coins but no way am I gonna pay a ton. This needs to be rethought and done a completely different way! Once I finish this book I’m not quite sure if I’ll keep the app. And the typos? I definitely am not interested in paying more than a buck considering how badly they are.

Worst App Ever!!!!. Do not download this app unless you want to waste your hard earned money! You need so many coins to be able to read each chapter, but you’re not hardly offered any opportunities to earn coins other than buying them. Once you’ve bought enough coins to read the full book you’ve spent almost $30 on a book. A book that has not been edited and is full of grammatical errors. On top of that, the app glitches so much when I would “purchase” a new chapter, it would sometimes be a chapter I already read! So i was paying for the same chapter twice! Most of the time I had to restart my phone just to get the app to reset and work correctly. Now don’t get me wrong, the stories are amazing and keep you wanting to read more, which is why I spent more money than I would EVER spend on a book. This feels like a scam and I almost believe this app should be reported to the BBB, if that’s even something you can do. They need a better way for you to earn coins. Most apps just make you watch ads, but this one just takes your money. Let me know once y’all have a better system in place and MAYBE I’ll download the app again, but right now, I’m deleting it!!!

Dreame vs Wattpad.... Ok ngl, the books on this app are pretty great. I decided to download this one because Wattpad isn’t doing it for me as much anymore. But at least you don’t have to wait like 2 days just to read a chapter, that’s ridiculous. I don’t understand the whole point of the coins it feels like I’m playing a game and they want you to buy coins so you can look nicer and we all have played a lot of those. If you don’t have coins it just takes the fun out the reading cause you have to wait forever for a chapter and I like to just bing read. I understand the company has to make money but if they wanted to make that Roblox money they should have make a Roblox type game. They could have easily made it so it’s a monthly membership and I would have been more willing to spend that money but for some coins on a book app I don’t think so. It’s not like I’m waiting for an upload I’m just waiting for it to be free, is the authors even getting any of this money?? Which is why I still stick by Wattpad, but I’ll read something from Dreame once in a while since they do have some pretty good books.

Stole my Coins & They don’t offer enough earned options. The only reason I gave this app a 2 star rating is because the stories they offer, albeit amateur writing, are very good and intriguing stories. However the app itself makes it impossible to read without spending way more money than the books themselves are worth. The amount of coins required to continue the stories increases with every chapter, and every book. To the point I spent $30 to read one book. I know the writer isn’t at fault, the company is. On top of that, I spent another $10 to finish out a series. I stopped reading for a few days and came back to finish, ALL of the chapters were locked. I was unaware that chapters can expire if you don’t consistently read on the app. Also, the coins themselves expire within a week or two of earning them. So if you do buy them, and are using those, the ones you earn expire before you can even use them. I hate that this is the only place to read these stories because the writers hands are tied. They have readers that would love to read their books, but can’t afford it, or don’t have countless hours to binge read books.

DON’T GET THIS APP.. If you get this app, be prepared to spend some major $$$. It says everything’s free and whatnot but that’s because you have to unlock with coins. You can either buy or earn said coins, but you have to do MANY tasks just to earn enough to unlock even ONE chapter. If you want to buy coins, it literally costs MORE than a PUBLISHED BOOK in any book store - and that’s without ANY revision, editing, or grammar help. There are so many mistakes and horrible grammar, etc. in many of these books on the app and it costs and at least $15-$20 to unlock ONE book. I urge you to find a different app or at least be prepared to drop some major money on this one, as it tried to make me spend $16 for just one story. I would give zero stars if I could, but sadly that’s not an option. Also, each advertisement you see on Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms are all shams. The writing is the only thing relevant to the books. They steal images from other creators - artists, movies, etc. - for their promotion without said artists permission. Honestly, this app needs to be taken down and MAJORLY revised before even being considered being put up again.

Way too expensive for what you’re getting. This app quickly got way too expensive. Coins cost too much money and they charge on average about 25 coins for a chapter. Sometimes the chapters are just a few paragraphs long and absolutely don’t say anything or move the story forward, so you’re stuck wanting to move on to the next chapter, only to find out the next chapter is the same. This has been the case for most of these stories, except the ones by a few select authors. For the most part, it’ll end up costing you around $10-$15 dollars for a mediocre book. It’s just not worth it. I can read an actual book for $3-$5, and the work has been put in for the book. By work I mean they have actually hired an editor, because golly who is writing some of these stories. The grammatical errors in some of these stories completely ruin the book. Sometimes you’re left wondering what in the world they were even trying to say. I know they’re quickly trying to throw something together so they can get their next chapter out, thus collect more coins from us, but please do it the right way and take your time. Trust me we will appreciate that more. There are a few apps such as this one (I.e readit) that may be a cheaper option, but so far this one is just too expensive for books that sound like they were written by a 12 year old.

Not worth it at the current price range.. I checked out a few stories and even though some have some good concepts and ideas, these are not polished or edited very well. There is misspelling and grammar errors everywhere. The stories are not even fleshed out. Characters are flat, and plot scenarios and interactions are not organic and a bit forced (and don’t get me started on the puns or bad overuse of tired quotes from movies and/ or books). Two dimensional, at best. All the authors seem to be amateurs still working on their writing styles and I have yet to find one who has been published other than with this app. I also find the time to unlock each chapter a bit insulting. I started reading a book with 53 chapters and the time to unlock the last chapter was almost 98 days at time of adding the book to my library. They do offer free promotional coins but it only about 60 or less a day and since the chapters cost 10, 13, 15, or 18 coins to unlock, at most 3-4 chapters of any book a day, which if you’re a fast reader like me could mean probably no more than 20-30 minutes. Not worth the money this app wants to charge (almost $.10 to $.20 a chapter). Maybe if they offer unlimited reading for $5 a month but no more, since there are other apps and reading programs that have established authors (and better editing) for $10 or more a month, WITH unlimited reading.

Needs work. It needs a lot of work. I like the idea, that amateur authors can submit their work for reading, but the coin system just to read a chapter is really bad. It’s very complicated. There are a few tasks that I did to get around 80-90 coins and I’m not sure why it says I only have 19. Does it only work for certain stories? Anyway, I only want to do the free tasks because paying money for coins to read a story that hasn’t even been proofread or edited is kind of ridiculous to me. I’m on my first book and there some things that don’t add up in the story line and is flooded with spelling and grammatical errors. I think if you were going to charge, you should just charge maybe $2 dollars for the app or a $.99 subscription for a certain amount of time a and have a certain level of work free to readers. If submitted work is deemed better (maybe by having an editor pannel), than a price for reading said book can be charged. The whole charging coins per chapter is really annoying and discourages the reading of people’s work. I honestly want to finish this book I’m reading, but with this system I’m wondering if it’s even worth it.

Good books, but bad rewards... Like I said the books are great!!! My issues is that you have either buy coins to read the books (which are quite pricey) or wait until you have enough coins built up to read it. And the amount of coins jumps really high really fast. Like it will be 5 coins and then 10 coins and they next time you unlock the next chapter it’s almost 30 coins to read. And on top of it all getting coins isn’t exactly easy. In my opinion you guys need a different system. You could take some pointers from Wattpad. Now everything should be oh you have to pay all this money to able to read the book. Why not do it where some books, like from small authors or whatever, are free to read, but you have to deal with ads. I mean the no ads is great and what not, but not when prices in everyday life are rising. When they raise to a certain point not a lot of people are going to be buying your coins to read books. Like you guys don’t even have watching ads for coins and stuff. And this bonus stuff is a whole waste of time. Like we barely get an coins and the bonus are just stupid, but we get a lot of.

A few good books, way too expensive. I have had the app for over a year now and have more negative things to say than positive. First warning (the reason I’m writing this review today) I recently purchased coins for the first time. The package included 8250 coins and I used about half of them in the first couple days. Today when I opened the app 4000 coins were gone so I messaged support. The response I received was all 8250 coins are bonus and only last for 10 days, which is definitely not explained when you purchase them. So I’m pretty furious I just spent all this money to loose half my coins and for them to tell me they advise I pay attention to the bonus and expirations! Ridiculous. Other than that I can say I have only found a couple good books that I actually completed. Most start out real interesting then become stale (chapters not moving the story along) which is obviously the writer dragging it out to collect more money. I calculated the cost of the books, and if you purchase all the chapters, 1 book is about $20 - $50 which is outrageous! Ultimately I wish I wouldn’t have gotten so interested.

Too Expensive and Poor Grammar. I just downloaded the app because I love to read and an interesting story appeared in my FB feed and I got hooked. I decided to buy $15 worth of coins. That is the cost of a book in Kindle (although that is an expensive one and kindle books have less grammar errors). Sadly $15 is not enough to finish even one book and worse you can’t see in advance how much it will cost you to just read the book. How much more will it cost to finish just this one book. I guess I will never know. I find this type of sales gimmick unsavory and shady. I will delete the app and just continue on with my kindle books. It’s surprising the authors and app company are choosing to be greedy, the amount of money they are saving with electronic books instead of hard bound or paperback should be reflected in the cost to read their books. I gave them 2 stars because while they are swindlers (not allowing you to know how much it will cost to read their book) the stories are interesting but then so are all the books on kindle and there they are honest and upfront and best of all someone proofreads their stories. Shame. I think the amount of money to be made will be much lower then it would be if they were upfront about their costs.

Frustrating. This is the second time I’ve attempted to use this app . After reading a part of the book on Facebook I don’t mind paying for coins however the chapter prices are getting ridiculous 70 to 80 coins per chapter especially when most books have over 100 chapters and half of the time it’s the same exact thing you just read for a different persons point of view , and the amount of errors where you have to reread the sentence several times to understand what they are trying to say, so frustrating. Also if you check in and read everyday they offer free coins which is appreciated however before you can save up enough to open the next chapter that cost 60 + coins or wait the week or so it takes for the author to give another chapter the coins expire . I have read several really interesting books on here and wouldn’t mind paying a monthly subscription or reasonable price to read the completed books because it’s a good way to give new writers a platform it’s just entirely to expensive for what you get.

Interesting stories. So far the stories are really interesting, however it comes to. Point where you have to start purchasing coins in order to continue reading which totals up to be way more expensive and any book would cost if you bought it at the store. Basically it’s a waiting game to keep you loving back in to earn coins or even to get you to buy more coins. I have not purchased coins and I don’t think I will based off of the comments I’ve seen others leave. A lot of the chapters get jumbled and you may be paying for something you already read, or are paying to read the next chapter but it skips to the chapter after that (pay for 15 but they unlock 16). Personally I had read up to chapter 15 and ran out of coins so I logged out, and when I went back into the app today it was showing that chapter 14 was now locked and I read that chapter last night. I gave it three stars because the stories are interesting, but having to pay for each chapter is highway robbery. Especially for an unpublished book full of grammatical errors and typos. In my opinion, if I pay for a book I want to be able to hold it and put it on my bookshelf.

Good reads but painful to the grammar police. So far the stories are definitely enticing to read but they can be tough at times to get through when you are having to re-read each line to make sense of all the grammatical errors and typos. It was bad enough in one book I read they kept mixing up the characters’ names. A baby can’t be named “Amanda” in one chapter and be named “Charlotte” in another. If I had to say, it felt like I was reading the very first draft of a story someone just finished or it was written in one night, without the author even re-reading their own work. I mean putting the thing through a computerized grammar and spell check would have helped somewhat. The coins concept, I get it, the app developer and author need to make a living, but I’d rather spend my money on well published and edited work then this stuff if I’m going to be spending the same amount, if not more, than what I would have spent on something similar at the book store. It’s not like these are long novels that would take very long to edit. I’m not a writer by any means, but I’d be embarrassed to have my writing viewed in such a rough draft state. “Intrigued’ and “I married the CEO” I think is what I read so far. Both need work. From other comments I’ve read I’m sure the next one I read will be just as rough, but I guess I will have to grit my teeth and bare it.

One of the most disappointing reading apps ever used. But I will say only One out of how ever many. This one has given me the worst anxiety I’ve had all year. I’ve only been using it for possibly 2-3 days and reading one book has been so impossible they say they want you to pay to support the author. I feel it would be better for the author if they sold the whole book not each chapter. Which the chapters and paragraphs are filled with so many grammatical errors. Doesn’t even give you an option to earn enough points for any of the reads. And each chapter cost a different amount of coins. I’d love to enjoy it but it’s very difficult and reading something like this shouldn’t be so costly. Hopefully it’ll improve in the future until then I definitely see my self deleting soon I might even pay a few dollars to finish my read then I’ll never tease myself with any app similar.

Great except for customer service and getting answers for problems. I love the books and stories and yes I can be expensive but a lot of the books are worth the price. The problem is that for a lot of people I talked to about the app on social media and myself is that the app resets all the time ( I’m talking that you close the app or lock your phone and come back a minute later and your place is lost in the book you were on and all your reading settings are reset) I have been dealing with this issue for over two months and have emailed at least 3 times about the same problem and haven’t gotten any response. I know some of the books on here are exclusive and they are awesome but just the fact that the customer service is so bad and they don’t care as long as they get the money you spend and some people are saying that the chapters they have paid to unlock become relocked after the app resets. If it wasn’t for some of the authors being so amazing I would leave the app. Hopefully after talking to some of them that aren’t on contract or are about to end their contract they will change to different apps because like I said the customer service or “help desk” are just terrible.

Good, addictive, but some flaws. Three are lots to choose from, great to get to check out some new and up in coming writers. There is alot available for free and others tgat are reasonable price to pay off. Couple complaints I have is you can't filter searches by more that one thing at a time. Like you pick the tag romance, then click the tag Possessive it changes your search to just possessive. More that likely your going to also get romance titles in there but it only searches for one tag at a time. Also with searching like that you can't filter in-kind stories or ones that are complete. I prefer to read a story that is completely, I hate cliff hangers I just want to read through to the end. But this app is also great for those that maybe don't have alot of time and only read a chapter at a time and can wait for updates. The other issue is I'm not sure alot of thf writers have copy editors, there are grammar issue and sometimes unusual dialog, but for the price of most it's not that bad. Overall I think it's a pretty good app and easy to get addicted to

Frustrated. I love the idea of this app for writers to get their works out there, what I don’t live is having to pay to read book 2 of a story that overlaps the same timelines & I have to pay re-read them again. I think their should be a system in place for editing because this platform is lacking in that department which is crazy since I’m spending money for an unfinished product. What frustrates me to most is to pay to read a book on this platform & only have 4 chapters completed but have the author tell me if I want to read 8 more chapters that I should pay & subscribe to a different platform that they have posted 12 completed chapters, not only is that not fair to the readers but it shows the writers greed & makes me not want to support her on any platform. I get it takes a lot of time & ingenuity to write a book but & I am very patient I am currently waiting in chapters for at least 8 stories some that haven’t updated in quite a while, but to hear that you have finished chapters that I can’t read unless I pay to read them on another platform even though I’m paying to read them here is ridiculous and making me want to go back to purchasing books from the book store at least once I purchase I get the whole book right then not bits & pieces of it over time.

Money hungry. So I’m giving 3 stars because I’m torn. I really liked what I was reading but then all of a sudden the chapters lock and you have to pay to read the rest with coins or something. I’m an avid reader so not to be able to read through until I’m ready to stop was actually giving me anxiety. So I’m wondering if it’s got a subscription or something. Cool it does. I sign up get 2 coupons for 50% off whatever it is. Like a chapter or something. Go to read like ya. Subscription reading service. Low and behold I still have to purchase coins to unlock the chapters. So you want me to pay a monthly subscription for absolutely nothing and purchase coins to unlock these chapters. Talk about money hungry. Definitely nothing like Kindle unlimited. Which actually gives reading material to its subscribers. I love the work so far that I’ve seen from the authors. They could definitely take their work else where and get far better appreciation from the book reading communities. If it wasn’t for the money grabbing this would a great app. Or better yet be a book subscription service like Kindle Unlimited. Definitely canceling my useless “subscription”

Maybe turned into lost my interest. I love some of the stories that this app provides, but a lot of them have grammar mistakes and are hard to understand sometimes. I like that there is a concept of coins, but it is hard to read anymore stories once I run out and there aren’t anyways to get some for free. Maybe the maker of this app can bring in daily coins or ads every 4 chapters a reader reads so they can keep reading the rest of the story in peace without a notification asking for coins. I got to a point where the notification popped up, but I didn’t want to pay for coins and there was a tab that was going to let me read it for free. The tab wasn’t useful at all. It said that I can read the chapter in one week. I got frustrated by the thought of needing to wait a week just to read about 2 more chapters then getting the notification again to wait longer. Can the publisher fix/improve this please? I also visited the writers’ site that authors can publish their stories and I got more frustrated. Everything was in SPAINISH!!!!!!! I for one don’t read/understand it much! Why can’t it be in English?! This got even more frustrating! Please fix this! Even searching on the internet and selecting a story for a different site is faster and free!

Some problems, but overall good. The story lines bring you in and make you want to finish the book, but what you have to go through to finish the book is annoying. 1. The stories definitely have not been passed in front of an editor, but I guess all authors have to start somewhere. 2. You have to either buy coins to pay for each chapter to be unlocked in order to keep reading, or sit and wait a set number of hours/days for the next chapter to unlock, so it could end up costing the same as buying a paperback or more just to finish one story if you are a binge reader. 3. Make sure you finish all unlocked chapters and do not unlock the next chapter before closing out the app for any significant period of time, because there is some sort of glitch! For instance, if you read some in the evening before bed, then open the app to start reading again in the morning, it has replaced the chapter you were reading with chapter one! You have no choice but to skip ahead, unlock the next chapter, and start reading from there. Annoying for sure, but once I figured that out, I got through the rest of the book without missing anything else.

Leaving five stars so you see my review. I previously gave this app 5 stars because I needed the coins to read a story. Now nothing will load so I logged out hoping if I just signed back in it would fix it. Now it won’t let me log in or it won’t let me make a new one. I have tried logging in with my email I made, I tried signing in with my Facebook, I have even tried resetting my password multiple times, and still nothing. It keeps saying “login failed, check your connection, or incorrect login”, it’s not my internet or service because everything else I have on my phone is working just fine. I can’t find anywhere on the app where I can get a contact email to ask for help. I’ve had this app for less than 48 hours and can’t even get signed back in and when I was signed it it wouldn’t let me unlock new chapters because it was saying “failed purchase” and I wasn’t even trying to buy a new episode yet because I had bought 10 at the same time for the bonus points. so beware before downloading that it might happen to you too.

Great Stories but need cheaper options for coins. I enjoy reading the stories/books very much but the some coin packages are just to expensive to keep buying the right amount you need to finish story. So having some cheaper options or ways that we can get coins for free would be good. I think the wait times should be shorten as well to a day to wait and not 2 as if you are really into the book you don’t wanna have to wait two days for the book to open up and the only way to get open earlier is to buy coins which are expensive, and then the wait time changes which isn’t fair. The app is really good but some things need to change to make the app better.

Good stories. I enjoy the books and stories, the problem is the coins, they are pricy but there are ways of earning coins for reading so long or so many pages and so on but still a pain, but the stories are good and way better than purchasing a book and paying for shipping and waiting for it to arrive just to forget about it by the time u get it

Waste of money. Most of the books are pretty OK. I do really wish people would take the time and put the effort into checking the spelling, grammar and punctuation. Also, the coins are too expensive, and the daily reward isn’t even enough to unlock a chapter. I have deleted the app because there is no point having it on my phone when it’s become a useless waste of money.

Lack of coins. Stories are great but the constant need to purchase coins in order to continue reading the stories is a joke. You’ll only be able to finish reading a story if you spend $20 or more for each story. There is no other way to collect coins. The only way is either purchasing or completing daily tasks, and one of them is to purchase coins or download chapters which also needs you to purchase coins. So basically you cannot complete a story unless you spend money. It would be great if they give us ads to watch in order to get extra coins, they’d still get the money and we wouldn’t have to spend so much money on single stories. Very disappointing app

Super expensive, but has great books.. The books on this app are genuinely interesting, engaging & exciting. The biggest down fall is it’s so expensive to read the books. It’s normal to pay in excess of $50 to read one. It’s so frustrating, because they reel you in with exciting content, only to make you pay through the teeth to continue reading it. I just can’t justify that kinda money for one book! It seems ridiculous to me. I won’t be keeping this app. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to pay. But these prices are a joke!

Great app but.... I really like this app, yes waiting for chapters to unlock is annoying and some don’t even have the wait to read you have to pay the coins and coin packages are expensive. If there was a way to get more coins daily that would be perfect! Only having one problem right now and it’s constantly restarting my books!! I’m getting a bit fed up with having to find my place everyday! I thought this would be fixed straight away but it’s been happening for a little bit now.. please fix this ASAP!!!!

Needs improving. The app needs improving, especially considering you can spend quite a bit of money to read a story. You buy coins, which you use to unlock chapters, chapters cost about 25 coins on average, this adds up quickly. I spent $30 to read a whole story, expensive when you consider the price of normal Ebooks. The most annoying thing about the app, is that when you leave the app and return, you often lose your place in the story, meaning you have to scroll through the whole story from the begging back to where you were up to.

I’m enjoying the stories by Kate Black. I got hooked straight away but I have only read 2 and spent 10$ today!! BUT the bonus coins are going to help me finish the 3rd book I hope!! I have no other to compare to but this one is easy and you can spend 11$ ish ??and get 1000 points which should get you 3 books to read..I’m paying because the stories are awesome thankyou Kate black ...cheaper than a night out on the town and much more comfy and healthy lol

Expensive and needs proofreading. Iv only had this for two days, but the cost of reading each chapter until the book is finished would be way to expensive. I am not one who can wait to unlock chapters. The writing is in essence good but the book I started reading really needs an editor or proofreader, every chapter had mistakes some small but some had to be reread and pieced together, not something I’m willing to pay over $20 for. I’ll stick to novels for the time being, hopefully in the future this app will adapt and be more appealing.

No thank you.. Like so many others, I downloaded this app after reading a chapter on an ad and wanting to read the book. But as soon as I finish this book (which is likely to be nowhere near soon because of how long it takes to either wait for chapters to unlock or to earn coins), I’m done with this app. To unlock anything you have to wait either 2 (cumulative eg 2 then 4 then 6) days per chapter or unlock each chapter with coins. This is ridiculous because if I wait for the book that I’m currently reading to unlock, it is almost a year! And the coins you get for a daily log in are barely a quarter enough to unlock one chapter and there are no other ways to earn coins. This app to me is just someone trapping people in so they get frustrated and buy them with real money. It’s sad because the authors don’t get their stories out there and readers get ripped off. If I could rate it lower, I would.

Great stories terrible app. The stories on the website and the app it’s self are great but there are many faults with the app itself. It continues to freeze and no let me view the book even when I have the coins to unlock the chapters. Also the unlocking of chapters is ridiculous, I understand that they need to make money some how but I’d be much happier if they acceheived this through adds and made paying optional. The only reason I tried this app was because a writer on another website said their full book was on here, but being unable to read it has left me very frustrated. Would not recommend the app or the website at all, there are many better and easier apps to use with stories that are just as good and slot of them are the same anyway.

Don’t waste your money. I absolutely loved this app however one day I logged in after spending a year+ buying books and credits to have every single download deleted literally wiped and when I typed my email in it said it wasn’t registered when I assure you it was and I have not used any other email to use this app. I contacted dreame via the app and all I got back was a generic automated email suggesting I have logged in using a different email when I have not. I went on their fan page and needless to say I am not the only one this has happened to and no one has been able to have this fixed by the app dreame team nor had contact other then the automated emails. Absolutely devastated at spending so much money to have all my downloads deleted and still trying to fix this issue!!!!

Great stories here but APP & Editing are a let down. I have had this app downloaded for approximately three weeks and have not been able to stop reading stories on here. I’m happy to pay for coins and the whole concept is great for your business however the editing of the stories is horrific in some stories, yet the story lines are amazing! It is a let down for the stories and the author, as well as it can be really frustrating when trying to get back to your story and you are unable to easily find your LIBRARY. Could you please create a home button so that you can go to your library or wallet instantly. Also syncing across devices would be great, on my iPad and on my iPhone I am unable to duplicate the library/download the stories that I have purchased and completed. Otherwise it is a great platform for new authors love it thank you!

Great stories. The stories on this app are great but the app it self needs regular updates. It has bugs that need to be fixed, I am getting annoyed with it because when I add new books to my reading list they are being deleted and I have to add them again or my entire reading list is deleted. So please fix the problems.

Almost ready to give up on app. I enjoy the book and reading the stories despite the coins and waiting time. My one problem is the fact that a couple of times already, almost all the books in my library will disappear, some of which I was reading. I have been fine with it up until now due to the fact that I could get them all back in the viewed section. Today the same problem happened again but instead of being able to get my books back from the viewed section, it’s not possible as they have disappeared from both my library and viewed section and I don’t follow the authors for a lot of my books so now will find difficult to get back as unsure of books name etc.

Really Good Stories. I love this app. The stories are so good and well written, and some of them are a little saucy. But the wait time between chapters are a little over the top. Waiting a few hours to several days a bit too much for me especially when I need to know what’s going on in the next chapter. Buying bonus coins so you can read the next chapter are reasonable. I know other people pay a lot more. Well done keep up the good work.

Talented Authors and Amazing Books. This app is full of amazing authors. Every story I have clicked on I cannot stop reading, it is amazing and every feature is so good I am lost for words. The reason why this is not a four star review is one little thing doesn’t make a huge difference as the books are that amazing, as this app provides (I think are) original novels made by authors on the app. I love to read the comics and novels and it is simply amazing. But-the prices are like, very high. 50 in-app coins for a chapter which doesn’t contain that much. Maybe we can add subscriptions to access all books for a time or buy the novel completely rather than having to top up coins for each chapter. Amazing app with amazing stories, novels, audio books and comics overall, 5 stars (they are that amazing) and the day I submitted this review I have only been using the app for 2 days-and the comics I’ve read are amazing. I love how it provides chapters you don’t need to pay for, so you can read a bit of the book! But you’d get annoyed if the book is so good and at the cliffhanger it ends with ‘Purchase this chapter for ‘__’

Great stories; crazy timers. The stories are definitely worth reading but the waiting time is crazy. The timer to unlock chapters needs to be looked at. I had to wait eight hours so I set an timer on my phone to remind me. When the timer had gone off it had one taken two hours off the timer on Dreame. Aside from the this time issues it’s definitely worth getting to check out stories. Probably works better for people that have a lot of other things to fill their time. Not great if you want to use reading to fill in time.

Impossible to use. Purchased the app to read an advertised story. Opened up chapters I already read through the advertisement. Wouldn’t let me unlock chapters with the coins given on initial download just said that it failed to unlock so just decided to purchase coins and download the entire book to save the hassle. Would process my payment then say payment has failed repeated this several times ended up being charged 4 times the amount I wanted. Tried to submit feedback with screenshots as instructed and even that failed. Now I’m out of pocket $60 with nothing to show for it. Wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone if I could give it zero stars I would.

Resetting all my stories. Finding some of the stories great however others are very badly edited and don’t flow. Also whenever I go into the app my stories keep resetting back to the start and looks like I haven’t read any. It’s very annoying to remember which ones I’ve read or an mmm reading when they keep resetting. At least it doesn’t make me buy the chapters again but it is very frustrating and annoying to figure where I’m at!!

A review from a long time user. While I am still an active user of this platform I would like to warn others. You will end up spending alot of money on books (significantly more than if you picked up a paperback of the same genre) and while there are some really good authors, there are many books which have extremely poor grammar, spelling and in need of editing that distract from what could have been a great story. (Even in cases where authors mention they have editors!). The cost of chapters appears to be based on number of words not quality. Other books are unfinished and you may be waiting a long time for the ending - while I don’t mind waiting because good work takes time, it would be great if authors could be clear about their update schedules. The platform can be glitchy and has done things like remove books from my library or reset where I am up to reading. It is also clear that many authors have been locked into this platform because of the contract they have signed, while others have moved future books to other platforms so they can retain the rights to their own work (but unfortunately their first books are stuck on this platform).

Frustrating. I have used this app for a while now and have been happy regardless of some unedited books as there are some good stories but all of a sudden it has changed. I can’t save where I’m up to reading so constantly have to finish the chapter and then remember what chapter I’m up to. Everything I have downloaded is no longer downloaded, meaning I have wasted my money and time. I even took a break from using the app to hopefully come back and see it back to normal but no such luck. So long story short very frustrating and I have purchased coins sitting waiting to be used but will be an absolute rip off if used then the book is taken away anyway! P.S no response from support either.

The Wait. I agree with the person that left the previous review. The stories are great and I love the ones I am reading but the amount of time I have had to wait is ridiculous per chapter and considering how many there are, which is what is off putting me for the app. I didn’t quite get your response though. Are you making it so we don’t have to wait for chapters to unlock? How long could it roughly take? A week? A month? A year? Also because I was so wanting to read the next few chapters I created several google accounts so I could gain money to read them and now my phone number is invalid. Considering that’s no longer an option. I don’t know how much longer I will be able to keep up with this app. Please text me your responses to my questions. Thanks

Don’t bother waiting. The app makes you wait ages just to read another chapter of a book but the chapters themselves are super short so it’s just annoying. Some need coins to read but coins are so hard to get and even annoying to purchase (some reviews have suggested they never receive the currency they have purchased). I also am really confused why every story seems to have a really rapey vibe, I’m not really sure why but all the ones I’ve read do... which is really problematic. Overall, don’t bother downloading it. Aside from the “coming back as a bad girl” one, that one has a bunch of free chapters and the rest are super low cost + it’s been really good so far.

“Hit-n-miss”. The application works ok for the most part. Very much a hit-n-miss with a lot of authors. Grammar and spelling combined with “censored” words can often make many hard to follow. (Please note some authors are fantastic) Chapters are often short and for what you pay in coins to unlock, you could buy a few hard-covers, definitely not worth purchasing coins. Many accounts of them taking more money from your account than the price of coins and not responding when contacted (Refer to their fan page on Facebook before you make your choice) Fine if you’re happy to wait an undetermined amount time for the next chapter that takes less than 5 minutes to read.

Not great. Got this app because I started reading a story from one of the Facebook ads. The story sounds good to begin with so I paid $20 for the ‘coins’ for the whole story (75 chapters). I got to chapter 9 and was over it. The writing wasn’t very good and ended up being a waste of money. I absolutely hate the coin thing and the pay to read. The stories don’t seem to be peer reviewed or checked much either so definitely feels more like a fan fiction type thing as opposed to a serious reading forum. I’m sticking to my kindle subscription where I can read as many books as I like for the same monthly cost (and any vip books I just buy seperate). Only thing I was kinda keen on was the slow scroll feature on the app but the level one was too slow and level 2 was too fast so ended up being pointless. Deleting this app and I’m very disappointed about the story ‘his redemption’ because it seemed like such a good premise “Cinderella type main character and ‘bad boy’ soul mate” but the story just ended up being exhausting and underdeveloped.

Want a Refund. I saw an ad with a few chapters of a story that really drew me in so I downloaded the app to continue reading. I didn’t mind spending some money for more coins to access the content sooner than waiting, however the “coins” I am spending for new chapters is just old chapters repeated throughout which I am unlocking. This feels like a waste of my money and a glitchy app. I will give credit due for a creative storyline but there is a lot of grammatical errors, in addition to nothing being spell-checked before upload. I have uninstalled the app and I wish there was a way to request my money back because I definitely didn’t sign up to read either very short chapters or the same recycled stuff. Please fix your app and stop ripping people off.

They need to fix this! Wasting my money!. As much as I love the stories and reading them they really need to fix the app. I’m reading a book at the moment which is really good but sometimes I have to read the same chapter over again & use my coins to read that same chapter again... even though I’ve already used another 15 coins to read it minutes before. Example: I’ll be finishing off the end of a chapter and slide down to the next one so see that it’s a old chapter that I’ve already read at the start? I’m not wasting my money to read the same things over and over.

Good story. I like the stories, I can ignore the editing errors, but the coin system is annoying, and expensive! I liked the story enough to download the app even though almost everyone’s reviews said they didn’t like the app. I just think there should be more options to get coins, and also not have to unlock every chapter as you go. I don’t mind paying for books, but this app is making badly edited (but good storyline) books cost more than properly published ones....

Expensive. Stories are good, but the coins to unlock are so expensive! I’m not saying I want all free and I know that writers spent lots of time and talent, but some of the books are ridiculously expensive! 70coins to unlock! What?! It would be great if there’s option for 1-3-12 month’s subscription and get to unlock all books free during subscription like mono reader app! And at some point, I binged read and purchased coins to unlock wait for free and now can’t pay anymore, so have to wait like 42 days or something. It would be better to wait for 1 day from the point of unlocked chapter rather than fixed dates to wait!

Just ok. I think the coin system is ok... writers are wanting to earn something for their books. I don’t like the wait time in between pressuring people to purchase coins just to read though. A little ridiculous (and this is from someone who hasn’t waited and can afford to purchase coins). I think it’s unfair to people who aren’t in a position to purchase often or as much coins. The stories are pretty cool, but nothing I wouldn’t expect to see on Wattpad etc. Just an ok app. After I’ve finished my current book I’ll probably be deleting the app though.

Good stories. I agree with everyone else..the wait time is too long after only reading a chapter that takes less than a few minutes to read, IF THAT…the expense and you don’t get to read all that you’ve paid for…the other ways of getting points to carry on reading is bs…and why is there no response to any of these reviews from the Dreame team? The only reason why I gave this a two was coz the stories are good..feel for the writers who won’t get their books read, tis a shame

Problems. I love the stories and using it, but lately after updates I loose stories I’ve add to my list and the ones I’ve read go back the beginning and ones I’ve brought to read I have to buy again and loose my downloads. Any chance a save button could be add to save what you have to your account so you don’t loose your place when reading and what you have read and I can’t search for new stories

Great reading but....... This is a great app, books are great as well, I’m not one to read often but this app has made that so much easier. I just wish that there was a way to earn coins or making the wait time shorter especially if you’re really into a book you don’t want to wait 5 days to read the next chapter.... like come one and the coin packages they are not ideal, something needs to be changed with the way that we can unlock chapters, like using our bonuses would be an idea ( just throwing that out there) Other than that the books are great just minor issues with unlocking and waiting periods

Hmm not worth it. I am loving the stories and finished a whole book - spent a lot of money on coins. Ended up getting the 500 coin pack half way through one book and had about 300 left. Hadn’t opened the app for a few days, came back today and all those coins are gone! That’s not really fair considering I spent $8 and you just took them all away so I had to buy more (stupidly enough) for the next book. I think I have had enough wasting money if you are going to keep doing that to purchased coins!!! Look at my transaction history! Bet you I won’t get my money back now...

50/50. I’ve had the app a while it’s hit and miss which the story’s but think it comes downs to the authors you have great ones then ok ones. I miss the feature that reads the books for you not going lie lies that’s a I get distracted easily so lobes to listen to the story and read alone they got rid of it and idk why. Can you bring it back please? I have found I don’t use much now due to the pay to read or the wait to read but definitely because I can’t listen to story’s anymore this was my biggest sell for the app and I loved it. So bring it back

Eh.. Good app for amateur authors with great stories but the price to read is ridiculous considering the spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. I’ve started reading a few different books that have hooked me but when I look at buying a completed book of one and purchasing the coins to do so it’s close to AUD$40 or more - for a book with errors and chapters that really, are relatively small in comparison to your standard novel. I’m a few days away from deleting the app as I’m losing interest fast.

Expensive and annoying at times. The stories are great but to read onto the next chapter need to either earn points (which isn’t always an option and can be difficult) or pay real cash for “coins”. The coins can vary in cost but there isn’t much diversity as in the cheapest is around $5. However it seems like a ploy for a lot of money because countless chapters will need you to pay for coins. So taking all of this into perspective I’m deleting the app.

Ridiculous waiting times!. While the stories may be good, you have to wait pretty much 2 days before the next chapter unlocks or pay to get a small amount of coins to unlock a small amount of chapters, that can be read in less then 5 minutes. However this is where it becomes even more ridiculous! Because after unlocking 4 chapters of one story my wait time for the next unlock was bumped up too 5 DAYS! Yep that’s right, 5 DAYS wait to get the next chapter unless of course I want to pay more money to unlock straight away. Do yourself a favor, pay for a kindle subscription, it’s much cheaper and you get better quality stories that don’t take forever and a day plus your first born to finish.

Some stories are not worth buying. Saw this app and thought it would be interesting to see what’s on here. Saw 1-2 decently written stories that caught my attention. BUT it’s definitely not worth “buying” them considering the amount of mistakes I saw both in the free and locked chapters. I might continue using if the app has a daily reward system that actually lets me read more than one locked chapter. I don’t see how both authors and readers benefit from this kind of system since - if one’s paying this much for one locked chapter, I’m pretty sure readers would want one that’s properly edited. At least without spelling errors… The system’s definitely ripping off people’s frustration to know what happens next. Plus I saw some artworks which seems questionable; not sure if they bought it from the original artists but I don’t think all of them are…

Absolute rip off. I downloaded the app and paid AUD$50 for 50% of a book. I had calculated it in advance and that amount of money should have bought the book I was reading as well as left “coins” over. So I was really confused when I was asked to buy the second half off the book? How are “coins” actually calculated? Are earlier chapters cheaper and they get more expensive as the book goes on? The book I was ready was over 100 “chapters”? There doesn’t appear to be any governance or quality assurance on how your money is spent. On top of this, the poor spelling, poor grammar and poor writing leaves me wondering what I am actually paying for? Certainly not an editor. I think I could overlook poor writers skill if it meant I got what I paid for… but toy get neither! It’s literally burning money. Buyer beware.

Disappointing and a Lie. I love reading and I am all for wanting to support authors. However when I found this app I thought it was great right up to the point I was informed that I had to unlock the next chapter with coins. Coins you have to purchase or wait for it to unlock which have ridiculous time frames on them. Why do this? If this is a platform for new authors to get their books out there then great but you are making us pay for poorly edited books. You app was recommended from Wattpad and I have to say I am very disappointed that you have to pay for some that are poorly written and that that your app appears on Facebook as a free platform which is a lie.

15-20 bucks for bad fan fiction. While some of the stories are entertaining and a lot of fun to read, many are filled with spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and have had no editing whatsoever. This makes them difficult to read or appear that they are written by 15 year old’s who were too busy “writing” this fiction in English class to actually pay attention and learn. Effectively you are paying upwards of $15 for what amounts to a badly written fan fiction should you purchase coins to unlock the chapters. It’s also incredibly worrying that many of the stories are filled with abuse against the female protagonists that is glossed over or instantly forgiven because the guy is just so hot. Doubly so because the app claims to be a female space, filled with female writers.

Stop stealing art off the internet to advertise. It’s pretty disgusting to see the Dreame advertisements blatantly using stolen art/photography to advertise the app while wholly not crediting the artist let alone paying them for copyright. STOP STEALING OTHER PEOPLE’S WORK. I myself have had to send a Cease and Desist letter, and that is helped, but I STILL see them using other people’s work (people I know personally!!) without so much as even notifying them about using their art! WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STORIES ON THIS APP, MIND YOU. Also, do yourself a favour and avoid downloading this app/reading any of the trash here. You can find BETTER AND FREE fiction on the internet if you look hard enough (which by the way, isn’t hard to do).

Awesome. I absolutely love reading here. But I just logged back in to reread a few of my favourites but only to find out that the books I unlocked every chapter on and downloaded have reset so now I have to buy the chapters again which are also not so cheap and if I "wait for unlocked" the first chapter I have to wait 23 days for and it rises after each chapter. Other than that I love these books and app

Interesting Stories. Love the stories, but when it comes time to do the “missions” and collect the bonuses, I’m finding that both the 15 bonus for joining the Facebook page and the 50 bonus for following the Dreame page start buttons don’t work…..I’m over the bonuses expiring after 7 days…there should be an option at the start of the book to purchase all chapters.

Disappointed still. So I have Been reading stories on and off for awhile now, over a year, and while the new earn points to redeem for coins is a new feature it’s useless. Unless you are waiting and watching to redeem your points for coins to unlock chapters, then it’s a waste of time. The redemption period is seconds and really it should be longer to give ppl a chance. The writing is only marginally better but seriously needs editing and for up to 60 coins a chapter it’s not worth it. And to be honest a book on this app is way over priced. There are some good stories but without editing and near no character development they mostly ideas.

So disappointed. Started reading a bit from a Facebook add and the book looked really good and read the reviews I thought it couldn’t be too expensive if I had to buy things, boy was I wrong. you have to unlock each chapter which is 30-40 points so you have to always wait or buy coins just as your getting into it, the rewards system looked cool because you can get money back but again big mess around to just be able to read more. didn’t even finish the book I was reading just going to delete the app not worth it, especially if your a binge reader rather then 15-30 mins at a time reader. Super disappointed would’ve been happy to keep paying and supporting new authors but I won’t go broke for it or take a year to read one book 15minutes at a time.

Don’t start !!!!. Try to get rewards it never works! so you start a book and either have to wait a lifetime or spend a tonne of money to unlock the same chapter cause they stuff up invite people to get the coins they join but you don’t get the reward I’ve had over 20 people join been sitting right next to me and can clearly see they never had the app before but still don’t get the reward Basically you get hooked because the books are good if you can get past spelling mistakes and poor grammar (well aware I’m not punctuating) And then can’t finish them unless your willing to spend over $20 (may as-well buy a book that’s completed and edited) Just don’t do it to yourself !!!

SCAM! Don’t waste your money on this trash. The books just aren’t worth the cost of coin purchases. The first book I read had a great story so I purchased more coins which I deeply regret. Every other story I’ve read has read as a first draft with so many painful errors. I could forgive it if the books didn’t end up costing more than most ebooks from publishers that hire editors. This is reddit quality (even stories on reddit are more grammatically correct). There are literally quality paperback books that cost less. The system just swallowed half my points. I can’t even give feedback in the app because it doesn’t work nor does it list another contact besides the business email which I will be using.

Poor Coin Management. I can get passed the poor grammar and much of the questionable content - I find it easy to choose what I do and don’t read, without pressure from adds. However, the coin management is cheaply designed and/or poorly maintained. This pertains to both purchased and bonus coins. This morning I woke up with 44 coin, some purchased, some bonus. I then “checked in”, being rewarded with an 8 coin daily bonus. After spending no coins, I seem to be down to 4 bonus coins. Even if all of my coins had expired this morning (which they should’ve have because they don’t expire for 90 days or so), I should still at least have 8 coins… I have paid for books on this app before, but I’m very reluctant to do so again.

New issues. Whatever changes were recently made, that had an impact on iPad users, please reverse them. I can’t increase the font to a large enough size to read comfortably, and I can no longer read in any position on my iPad. Either on the side or down position. Only in the upright position. This makes it inconvenient when recharging.

Annoyed. Stories are alright, but I hate that after you actually pay they magically disappear from your account.

Scam!!!. I have been using this app for a year and noticed today that bundles of coins are being purchased from my account without my knowledge. Every month there’s extra purchases totally about 50 dollars a month!!! This is in addition to the coins I actually purchase. Stay away from this app. It’s not safe at all!!!

The app. The books on the app are great but expensive to unlock16- 38 coins to unclock a chapter and you don’t get compensation if the author accidentally double a chapter. There daily bonus is so cheap it takes 2-3 days to unlock a chapter.

Overpriced decent stories. Pricing is nuts, especially with no editing. Some stories are better than others for grammar and spelling, others make your head hurt they are so bad. Will not bookmark where you left off, so you have to try and remember what chapter you were on and scroll through. This is a huge issue that should be fixed!!

No search?. The search function has never worked for me. I can only read what pops up on the main discover page. Nothing extra ever loads. Great stories but the app is horrible

Just one thing missing. I really like this app and have used it for awhile now but it needs a bookmark option for when I’ve unlocked all the chapters and have to stop reading to do life things. I have lost my place so many times because when I reopen it, the book starts back at the first chapter. That’s my only issue.

Misleading & Aggravating. Wattpad and Radish are faaaar better. You may have to earn coins or wait, but at least I can read a few chapters a day. This app has me able to read 1 chapter at most before having to buy coins at a rather high price. ALSO, app does not explain what “tickets”, “books”, and the “Lucky Draw” will actually give the reader. The draw already took a lot of my coins when it leads one to believe that you’ll WIN more coins. I only came here for one story because it can’t be found elsewhere. Once it’s done, I’m deleting this app. I’m all for authors earning money, but this app is not worth the aggravation for the reader!

Lucky Draw. When it is giving us the choice to draw on the normal one, it says 10 coins or 120 points. Can you make it so we have an option of what we draw with? I meant to draw with my points but it took my coins instead.

All books. I don’t like having to earn coins to read the next section of chapters. When I sit down to read I want to read the whole book. I’d rather pay $5-10 to purchase the book than earn coins.

Horrible customer service. If anything goes wrong, they will not help you. They have things auto set to try to make you accidentally spend your coins and will not give them back.

Good stories but…. They have great stories, but they could work on the grammar and mistakes… Also to read stories it comes very expensive if you want to read it in one shot… i’m all for helping creators… but I don’t think they are the one making all the money for their stories…

High Price. I enjoy the majority of the books but the price to read them is way to high hence the 3 star rating; I can buy books by experienced well known authors for much less and coins that you get for free expire on this app 😤. Some of the authors can be slow to update making you forget what you already read at times.

Charged my credit card without my knowledge. I have used this app frequently, but I noticed that it charged my credit card without my authorization. I was not even on the app that day. I asked for a refund and they refused. Deleting this app and won’t be using it any longer.

Falling out of Love. I would only like to finish a story without paying coins for any of the apps that have stories. It’s been a long time since I even wanted to read. It’s so hard to find books I like. I really love the werewolf stories. They say free but they say coins and don’t let you read more. I’ve started so many stories but can’t finish. If things don’t improve and let me read I’m BLOCKING ANYTHING TO DO WITH STORIES.

Way over priced!!!. While I like many of the stories the price this and many other reading apps are charging to read these books is beyond ridiculous. The reward amounts are pitiful compared to what a person spends to read these stories. There are also so many mistakes, contradictions and out and out grammar errors that this app should be ashamed especially given how much they are charging for coins as well as how many coins they take to read each chapter. As for advertising free chapters yeah sure maybe after you spend a week trying to earn enough points to get one chapter for free if you are lucky. seriously don’t waste your time installing this app it takes advantage of people’s love of reading books by getting you hooked in on a good story then making you have to pay multiple times the price of a physical book you would by in a book store. The convenience is definately not worth the amount of money you have to put out to read these books!!!!!

Good stories, bad FAQ & coin system. The stories are good but - the FAQ are misleading and - the expiring versus purchased coins with top-up coupons is also misleading (will say you get 500 + x bonus coins but will transfer the %of coupon of coins to bonus coins without stating it anywhere - the daily check-in breaks periodically It really sucks because there are series of books and authors I really like on here.

Membership. This is a great app. Love the books, however I stopped reading as I couldn’t wait that long for the chapters to unlock which in turn got expensive in end with the amount of coins you have to buy. May I suggest having a year option payment like other reading apps?? On a previous app I paid $85 for the year and all the books are unlocked.

Interesting. They have great stories but I you have to earn or buy coins to read the next chapter every now and then. Also it doesn’t save your spot you left off so you have to scroll to look for it

Good stories but too pricey. They rope you in.. but I just can’t afford the price. Almost 16$ got me reading for like an hour, hour half maybe? Not even a whole book. Don’t even know if it was half the book. Sorry but I can buy actual books for less. I can’t afford to drop 30+$ on some cheesy entertainment. So by overcharging you’ll get 0 instead of some. Also terrible editing. Soo many typos. Let me edit as I go to read for free lol. Sucks but I’m done reading. Cannot afford these prices.

Not worth 5 stars. This app has some good stories. Editing and grammar is a major downfall. The prices of chapters has more than doubled and Dreame has made it impossible to get free coins. The price to buy one book is almost $70. Cheaper to read on Amazon. Will not recommend this app to anyone.

Stupid. While waiting for stories to be finished, after using coins to buy 44 chapters, it just locks back up and now you don’t get to read the whole story without reusing coins to buy it. Very frustrating.

Worst App Ever. Couldn’t even give it a rating it so bad…if I could do zero I would. The app is deceptive and takes money from its readers. It has a lucky draw under rewards, as in rewards to gain free bonus points towards reading. However, what it actually does, it takes points from your own wallet that your purchased to read books and applies it to the draw. So in essence your using your money to play a game on Dreame. Who in their right mind would do that and it’s not even explained and before you know it, you don’t even have the points you’ve purchased m, with your money, to read the books that you intended to read. Learned this the hard way. Never had an app do this and it’s very disturbing that they get away with it. I almost feel like the high rating for this app are paid reviewers because anyone who’s been other apps knows this would never fly.

Extremely disappointed. This app is very expensive, it’s a rip off. I spent $27.97 to read a book that was just okay, not edited very well, dragged on too long & ended abruptly with no epilogue to wrap anything up just left us wondering. I will be deleting this app & telling everyone I know not to use it.

Check-in streak. I’m only on my second book on here. It takes forever to earn coins and therefore forever to get through a book. I check-in every morning before I go to bed and once again, as it’s happened more than once, my check-in streak has started over when I most definitely checked in yesterday. Really getting fed up with this. I am so close to deleting this app. My streak gets deleted one more time and I’m gone!!! Much per Galatea. After reading a number of books on it, I decided to purchase a years subscription and can read to my hearts content. Don’t see that option on this app.

Shameful Clickbait Crap. The app withholds chapters known to have been published in other places. The editing is terrible, and some of the supposed “authors” make no effort to even try to self-edit. Yet Dreame actually has the audacity to promote those books over good ones! There are, to use an old line from a real author, gems in garbage. There are writers there truly trying to put out the best they can. But they’re few and far between and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to justify being a paying customer. This is a shameful exploitation of writers, of promoting without actually investing in quality, and a joke in the real fiction world. Read at your own risk.

Good app. Good story reading app. Its got lots of books of all kinds. I really love the read to accomplish daily tasks. I like the app. The comics that are free for three or so days haven’t updated since August 28 and it still hasn’t been fixed

expensive. There are some great writers when you find them. However more often than not you spend about 4 times what you would a regular novel in store. Not to mention all bonuses you earn, expire. Glad I had it but won’t continue using this app after I finish my books.

Great stories but the coin system is flawed. Great stories. The grammar could use work. Not easy to contact support. I had like 300 coins and was in the middle of reading a story and one day I opened the app and all my reading history was gone along with all my coins… you loose will to stay on the app when that happens

Loosing interest. I’ve had this app for a couple of years now and I used to love it we were able to earn bonus points for checking in and doing activities as well as reading. In the last year there was an update that caused it to become more of a money grab. Now for the daily check-in we only get 4 to 8 bonus where as we used to get anywhere from 5 to 12 or higher for the more consecutive days signed in. Now they give more of the bonus to be able to buy coins but there is a limited amount of rewards to buy coins for bonus and if you’re not there within the first five minutes when it resets and then it’s all sold out. The stories have also become more expensive to read.Most stories are at least 24 points 20 minimum usually to be able to read a chapter and when you’re not even earning a fourth of that you cannot read for any length of time to be able to even reach the earned checkpoints for the bonus. Further in the past six months it went from an app that worked fairly well to an app that doesn’t work regularly I will purchase coins from my bonus and they don’t show up in my account . I’ve also done the read or rather wait to unlock and some of them are outrageous like 30 days worth of waiting but anyway almost every single time the wait to unlock even though it says I’ve waited the time to unlock and I have, it won’t unlock it and it tells me I need to purchase coins. When I’ve messaged them about it they’ve told me they’re aware of the situation and one thing that works for some reason to unlock it is to purchase coins or bonus. So even though I’ve waited to unlock it I now have to purchase coins or bonus in order for it to unlock? It’s ridiculous and I’m almost at the point where I’m emailing them at least once a week. I’ve been using it for like I said a couple of years but honestly it’s become more frustration than enjoyment. Today I’ve purchased a bonus twice which aren’t showing up in my account and it still won’t unlock my chapters I’ve emailed them twice tonight and still haven’t received a response. Again I used to love this app and I spent a lot of time on this app but it’s honestly just a money grab now and it’s disappointing. Bring back the old app.

$$$. At the beginning I liked this app. Now I understand how it works and it’s really frustrating because you have to pay to read. You have the 5-6 first chapters free and the other ones are locked. At least Wattpad doesn’t do that.

Paid stories taken back. Two paid for stories taken back and you’re asking for payment again? I don’t think so. That’s pretty much theft.

Good stories but hate the coins. The stories are great, but editing for grammar and spelling could be better.. also hate that you have to wait days to read them ther chapters unless you pay for coins.

Scam. Started billing me without purchasing coins would show up on my Apple Pay, and go through without my authorization of my passcode. Waiting to be refunded, then deleting.

Dreame site. I love the books that you have on your site, here is the but, I do not like the way your coin system works. My daily coins do not show up, my other points just keep increasing but never redeem, then they expire. So I never get to read a book more than your free read. I have several books I would like to continue to keep reading, but alas I can not.

Keeps changing for the worse. As a daily user of this app, the most recent change made the app unusable. They took away all daily read bonus coins making it so you cannot earn coins to read paid books. Do not recommend.

Coins. Since the update I lost all my coins. I purchased the 69.99$ package that you receive 5000 Cohn’s plus a bonus of 5000 coins. I am presently at 0 coins and I only purchased the remainder of the current book I’m reading that required 3816 coins. Where did all my coins go? There is also several spelling mistakes in the books. Very frustrating regarding my purchase!

Purchasing of coins. The books are super expensive the amount of coins u need per book compared to what u get isn’t worth it. I bought coins thinking I was getting bonus coins with my purchase. I did get the bonus coins but they took them away from me after 4 days So if your going to purchase coins don’t count on the bonus coins or use them all right away Also grammar is really bad When I emailed them they wouldn’t get back to me.

Update books. I hope the authors who has written all those stories that I have read so far, I would like to see them update their books or continue writing books 2 and 3. Some of the other books that I’ve seen only have short stories which makes it really boring they need to be longer for us readers to read your books. I don’t want to sound like a critic but I know from original books that I read like desert hostage was a really good book and I don’t know of any other people out there has read that book I wish I still had it but at least it had over 500 pages. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy romance stories but I know some of the authors who writes them needs to edit and check for grammar mistakes before submitting them for us to read.

Make sure you REALLY like the book if you spend money on it.. The editing needs to be better. You have to check the app to get the daily bonus, to be able to read maybe 1 chapter a day. Unless you guy coins, where you’ll be spending over $100 to read 1 book. Also the pricing of coins and bonus’ change. Like if they give you a 50% off coupon, the price before will be 23 coins and then you go to use the coupon and they still charge you 17 coins claiming it was 46 but you just watched it change. Tried to report it on the app and it said they’d contact an author about it when it’s the app’s fault ?

Great app but. I love the stories but I hate that you have to pay for them

Beware!. I do like the stories even though the editing it terrible but beware of the coins as they tend to disappear when your getting low, especially the bonus ones! I know you have a few days only to use up the bonus coins but mine were disappearing same day/next day although nothing was read. I reached out and although my response was pleasant, they said I used them per their user log and it just wasn’t true so I’m not arguing. I’ll be deleting the app, which is for the best as what you pay way too much for a poorly edited book. I’ll stick with kindle unlimited.

Books keep resetting. Been using this app for close to a yeah and had no issues until the last month or so. I have 2 books on the go right now that update a couple times a week, and it seems like every other day I sign on to see if they have updated the app has reset both books to the very beginning as if I haven’t ready any yet, and I then have to try and figure out where I left off vs what is new if any and it’s extremely frustrating!!!

Decent to garbage. This web novel app was decent when I first downloaded it but with its latest updates it has gone from decent to garbage and entirely not worth the time investment. Used to be you could get reading rewards that would allow you to purchase a chapter with their fake currency. Now you get reading rewards that allow you to purchase the fake currency with a second fake currency. The second currency has been around for some time already but wasn’t as involved. The next major issue is the decision to increase the price of all chapters. Used to be chapter prices were based on a 1coin:100words now who knows what the conversion is. Most chapters I’ve seen lately are 30coins+ regardless of the material in the chapter. This web novel app has turned into a cash grab for the developers and 100% screws the authors out of their share of any profits. Do yourself a favor and just support an author privately. Dreame team take time to realize what a pile of garbage you have made this app into and fix yourself. Readers can’t read a single chapter in days due to your greed.

Interesting books but a bit expensive. I’ve been reading as much as I can and luckily there are a few books that are free. Those keep me occupied while I wait to earn more points. I’m a binge reader so I will burn through my life savings quickly if I don’t control myself. These books are addictive. I have completely enjoyed most of the books I have read. But that being said this app is a bit expensive to buy points and hard to earn any points free. You get points and bonuses. But not any other way to encourage you to stay on their app platform unless you buy more points. Which I do but I have to set a budget and stick to it. So some of my favorites are being neglected while I wait to earn enough for another chapter. Sadly I also lose interest at times because of costs of chapters.

The books are good but Don’t waste your time. I would rate this higher bc The book I’ve been trying to read is very good. HOWEVER your coins don’t save. At first I had watched some ads earlier in the morning and had 29 coins then it didn’t give me any options to watch more so I went about my day. Later I got on again and the coins were down to 10 but I wasn’t super upset bc I thought it was a one time glitch. So I watched all of the 14 ads and had my bonus I hadn’t collected and ended the day with around 50 coins. Which I was so excited for bc the next chapter was 59 coins. I expected to get my bonus coins for checking in then watch a couple of ads then be able to read the next chapter. Boy was I wrong. I click on the app and I have 5 coins🙃. I spend like 30min watching ads for absolutely nothing and now even if I watch all 14 of the ads AGAIN I still won’t have enough to unlock the ne t chapter. Don’t waste your time.

Don’t waste your time. Honestly just go to Wattpad if you want to read free amateur writing. If you’re going to pay money (subscription or in-app purchase) just get kindle unlimited. So, the thing I dislike about this app is that if you unlock a chp or more (using pts you’ve earned), you may have to wait days before you’ll get another (free to you) chp. Say you unlocked 3 chps, that means you have to wait 72hrs before a free chp will be available to you. Add 24 hours for every cho you unlock. I’m currently waiting a week for the next free chp on the book I’m reading. So far, the book hasn’t shown any “wow” factor where I want to spend $10-15 to unlock it. The last book I spent money on in this app ended up being a huge disappointment. The author started being sloppy & lazy half way thru the book. Her characters were doing 190s in their personality...it became so unbearable I had to stop reading! There goes $10!!! That would’ve been a month subscription on kindle for better writing! So there is my rant on this app.

It's trying to break the bank. I came in reading a book that was advertised on instagram. I was really good and I continued reading through the app. When I was a few chapters in I was then informed that I had to pay real money to get coins in order to continue reading. At first it was fine. So I paid the lowest amount of $2.99 for 300 coins, think that would be enough to get at least half way through the book. It was not. I got to a really good part of the book and ran out again so I paid 2.99 for 300 coins. It got me a few more chapters then I was at 0 coins. I normal book from a store is $15-$20 I can not see spending more than that on a book that is not even published or edited. The next chapter for the book was going to cost 109 coins, meaning I would have to pay more money to read this book that is no where near finished and I find it to be a spam. The story line is wonderful but no worth the money.

Deceptive pricing. Nice for struggling artists, but as a consumer, I’m not going to pay more for a book because it’s pay-per-chapter, than I would buying it in a bookstore. Got a ‘sign up reward’ that gave me ~5 chapters, then paid $9.99 straight up (what I would pay for a normal paperback romance in store) than couldn’t finish the book! Had 7 more chapters, would’ve kept reading to find out what happened even though I greatly disagreed with the rape-y path it took suddenly, but the ‘daily sign on’ bonuses abs ad bonuses and whatever never gave me enough coins, I wasn’t going to pay another $10 for the last few chapters of a book I’d already paid to read-I bet it’s how they get you hooked, you pay just enough for most of the novel, and when you’re to the end, you find you have to pay more, and then you might as well spend you’re leftover coins, but they don’t get you through the next book… book was fine, though not what was expected, the business practice is gross.

Eh.... The storylines are halfway decent but the writers seem barely literate with multiple errors. Two glaring repeats are rouge and malady instead of rogue and milady. Rouge is the French word for red and a malady is an illness or ailment. Anyone who’s been through junior high should be able to do better than that. Another thing that points to their youth and inexperience as writers is the excessive dependence on sex. Sex, for all it’s a great thing, is not the tie that binds and the various authors don’t seem to understand that. They seem to be working in an interesting genre with some basic and consistent world rules but they definitely need more education and experience. The platform has another problem besides content. It works off of “coins” and these can be bought or earned for in-app actions. I currently have 60 earned, unspent and unexpired coins but can’t use them to unlock chapters since the bonus counter in the book section shows only 4 bonus coins. I would not advise anyone to buy coins in pursuit of reading these tales if they aren’t visible and able to be used.

Great potential, but really lacking. Overall, I would say this is a very good app. Although, it does have to potential to be better. I’ve seen many reviews criticizing the payment process in the stories and I couldn’t agree more. I find it ridiculous how in almost every story that I read, most of the chapters you have to pay to unlock or wait multiple days even weeks until a chapter is free to read. I get that it’s a way to recognize and sort of pay the authors but wouldn’t it be the same if you just put an add or two in between the chapters? I feel like you guys lose a lot of “customers” this way. Let’s be real, eventually the “customers” are going to get tired or paying or waiting for a chapter and most likely delete the app. When your really into a book it gets annoying having to pay for the chapters or if you don’t have enough coins, waiting days for the chapter to be free. I really do see how this app can be better. It has a lot of potential.

Expensive and stupid.. This app is ran for amateur writers. Most of the stories in here have not been edited in any way. There are so many punctuation and grammar mistakes. There are so many spelling and diction mistakes. But a lot of them start with good ideas. They need editing though. While I like the idea behind this app. I give this a 1 star because it charges you and arm and a leg to read bad writing. You get a few good chapters for free but as you read more you have to pay for each chapter. And the quality of writing seems to deteriorate the longer the book goes on. Paying for the book to read is but bad. But to shell out $30 or more to read a badly written book is just ridiculous when you can get a good book for way less then that. Then there is the other issue that I am absolutely not okay with. I paid to read a book all the way through. I liked it. It was one of the few good books in there. Now I go back to red it again and I have to pay for it all over again. This is not okay. I will be deleting this app.

Why is it so bad now?. I don’t know where my other review went, but I need to address this again. I’ve been Reading on this app for the past year now.I don’t understand what’s happening because it wasn’t like this before. A lot of the books that I have read, are no longer there? I paid for these books why are they not sold my library? Also, whenever I pick up a new book now, it isn’t in my library despite me knowing that I definitely put it in my library. I have to go on a book search to find the books I was reading especially the ones that I paid for. The bookmark isn’t working anymore I have to always scroll back to where I was. The settings on the app keep changing. I always have a night mode setting, preset, whenever I go in there, but now it’s not there anymore; you have to always reset it back into dark mode each time. I absolutely love this app, but if this is how it’s going to be then I might as well just stop now instead of putting in more money than I already have.

Annoying but the stories are addicting. I would give this five stars, but making someone wait almost a full month to continue reading is just cruel. Also, when you leave the app to do something else while waiting for the time to go down (back when I only had to wait thirty minutes) the count down stops. I literally had to sit with my screen on for the timer to actually go down. I couldn’t even go to a different story in the app. I had to wait two days on a new chapter and when I went back to it the next day, it still said two days. I don’t know if this is a glitch because I just downloaded the app, or if it is a design flaw or what, but it is extremely aggravating and if it keeps up, I will be tempted to delete the app. To be honest, the only thing keeping me from deleting it already (I hate this coin and waiting crap), is the fact I am seriously invested in this blasted story.

Rate for coins. This is rating is for the coins so that I can try to get a little further in the story I’m reading (smh). My true rating is probably closer to 3 stars The stories are good, although there are quite a few errors in word usage and spelling so, I can deal with that. What is highly annoying is the wait time for chapters (that are sometimes a few pages long) to unlock...unless you buy coins (which hasn’t worked for me in weeks). I’d rather get a few chapters free, to sample the story, and if it’s a story I want to finish then, allow the reader to purchase the story (at a reasonable rate). So my suggestions: drastically shorten story unlock wait time and/or allow readers to purchase the rest of the story w/o having to spend a ton on coins. I know it won’t happen but, that’s my 2 cents before I got back to iBooks and Kindle ✌🏼

Good app with interesting stories. Don’t get me wrong I loved the app but like most have said your buying chapters not books and that seems like a lot of money to be spent on a book because it’s any where from 11-18 coins to unlock a chapter and I have read that even when you do buy the coins chapters that were unlocked become locked again. I got the app without reading the reviews which I should of done, I don’t want to buy any coins cause of the problems I have been reading in the comments but the hard thing is when you want to read a book and be stopped every chapter and it doesn’t even seem like you get to have the book when you get finished like you would on other apps. And the wait to read books make you wait days before they give you a new chapter I understand that they want to be able to give money to the writers but they should come up with a way where both parties feel like they are getting a win.

Coin issues. Where the heck do I contact to do this..? The automated responses just bring me here or to the app. I love Dreame. I’ve read many stories and loved them all, the process and free earnings you can do on top of buying is really nice. But I’ve earned multiple +25 and plus +50 coins, and haven’t received them. Tonight I’ve received one of each, and didn’t get them, so can’t continue reading. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on this app, I’m in a bad situation rn and reading and being able to collect some coins while doing so is helping… I loved it because I could still enjoy at least a few chapters here and there. But I am not actually receiving them… what can I do? Who can I contact? It’s only +75 coins tonight, but it would help a lot… I don’t know where to go

Change. I actually wanted to rate it lower, and would love to give a 5 if some things could change with the app, Navigating the app is quite difficult especially for new users. I think the coin situation is a little to much before you know it you are paying way more for a book. I think that if you want to continue with the coins, it should be posted that a book cost this many coins, and we could earn the coins by doing the daily activities as well as purchase them. ( Example this X book cost 1200 coins) you go and purchase the coins you want to buy as well as earn coins. This way we can see the actual cost of the book we are reading. As for the earn coins to sign up to be a writer should have an alternative not everyone wants to write a book or story, there should be a way to opt out of that. Outside of what I wrote the books are amazing to read and the ones from LauraG are awesome I am hooked on her books.

Great Stories. There are some really good story lines in this app. It’s the reason I wanted to download it in the first place. I held off on downloading the app because after reading the reviews, I didn’t agree on having to pay per chapter. I finally caved after getting hooked on one story and now I’m trying to get free coins to keep reading. Would I prefer to be able to outright pay for a book? Yes. I’m writing this review after realizing there is a positive side to having to pay per chapter. If a story isn’t what you thought it would be, or if you are no longer interested, you can stop reading and choose a new story. So far though I’ve really enjoyed all the stories I’ve read. I’d recommend this app to anyone who likes romance stories and fiction because there are some really great ones on this app! I’d still prefer to pay per book though!

Adding an alternative to winning coins instead of having to purchase the coins.. I feel like this app should have some sort of game so that we can earn coins to be able to keep reading I purchased 300 coins twice but I haven't been able to finish the book because each chapter is 20-40 coins and I don't have the money to keep purchasing the coins “I would have to chose to wash my clothes or finish the book I'm reading at this point” don't get me wrong this is a great app but not everyone has the funds to be able to keep reading so if you remodel the app and add some sort of game where we can earn coins to keep reading that would make the app better you can keep the options of purchasing the coins but for those who can't afford them the game would be a great alternative. I hope you take this into consideration. Thank you for your time.

Review. I really like the stories but it is so annoying that it takes so many days to unlock a chapter for free, especially with story that is complete. Plus it is hard to tell when the check in and reading bonus points will reset. I think it would be better if it reset at midnight whatever time zone that you (the people who run the app) are in. Also why do the coin cost of each chapter have to be so high? But I love to read and the stories I have started on here are great I am just annoyed that it is taking so long to be able to read the whole thing, when I sit down and start reading I want to be able to finish the story once I start and that is what is annoying about this app. I don’t want to spend more money on coins here than I would on an actual book at a store and still not get to the end of the story.

READ! “5 Stars Rating for Coins”. I get 20 coins for rating this app 5 stars as they wanted. Actually, I wanna give this app 3 stars instead. I don’t think it deserves full stars. This app like Wattpad has gone commercial. The thing is, the books are not professionally edited and proofread. Yet you have to buy coins to read. Different books also have different coin values on the chapters to read. If you want a better reading app, Wattpad is still better since they give you option on which books are paid reading and not. That means they have filtered the books that they think better in quality though once again they are not professionally published like other books you bought at bookstore. Wattpad is still fair as well since they still use ads, which I can bear rather than paying real money. Inkitt is even better since it’s fully free and also ad-free. The books are better than Dreame and Wattpad as well.

Not a bad app. I had come across this app on Fb. At first I didnt think I would like it. I do not like that whole buy by the chapter stuff. However, I have found myself really enjoying this app & the stories some ppl have put together. It can get a bit expensive with some book, when they charge like 70+ coins, but I’ve come across some really good stories that I couldn’t help but spend money on coins to read. There are some very talented red writers on this app. But what’s even better, you can try your hand at story telling too. This is def a great app not only for reading great books, but it’s also great cuz if you’re into writing yourself, you can write one, while ppl give you criticism to help improve your writing potential & get money for doing so. I def would recommend this to fellow writers & those whom love to read.

Review for coins. The stories draw you in, but there are quite a few frantically errors that sometimes throw you off. I like this app, but it is very much pay that read every chapter. I’ve had apps like this before and the free “coins” you get daily usually cover the next chapter, that isn’t the case here. Each chapter has to be unlocked which if you’re a reader like me, is a total downer because the only thing you can do to keep reading is spend money to purchase coins over and over again; which I get it, the app developer and authors deserve to make money off their hard work, but it also seems like a bit much and to finish the book and keep the story flowing, you’ll end up paying more than you would buying a well edited and published book from the bookstore.

The Coin System. The coin system is absolutely ridiculous. You only get to read a maximum of 9 chapters/updates before you have to spend 20 or, heaven forbid if you don’t have a coupon, 45+ coins. Not to mention, there’s no easy way to get coins UNLESS you do daily missions that honestly aren’t worth it since the most coins you’ll get are 2-5. I understand that you want people to support these creators, but grammatical errors and (sometimes but not always) cringy stories are the least of your worries when it comes to coins. What I love about Webtoons is that, if you run out of coins, you only have to wait a maximum of 6 days before you’re allowed to read the chapter (and if you do want to get a fast pass, it’s only 5 coins for a chapter, 15 for a bundle of 3). Others may find this torturous, but it’s well worth it. I’d rather wait 6 days than 18 weeks to gather coins that are only enough for ONE chapter. Reading the comments of some stories, I find it absolutely hilarious that people have to ASK if a story is worth it before they spend any money. Let me just tell you, it’s not. Save your money.

ONLY FOR COINS—READ BELOW. So far, there are grammar mistakes. You can get by, by trying to think about it in a sentence. Recently, I had unlocked chapters to a “book,” however, just yesterday, all the chapters I unlocked were relocked. I emailed them(?) not sure if it got through, but I haven’t received an email in response. That’s the only bad thing so far. You can earn coins by “checking in” to the app, and doing tasks that the app has listed. Rating the app five stars is one of them. When checking in, some days it’s just 5 coins, other days it’s 15 coins; it varies. Some books you can wait until it unlocks(countdown of one day) or you can use your coins to unlock it faster. Some books’ unlock coins are expensive; in the 60s to 70s is what I’ve gotten so far. Not sure if there are others more expensive.

Good stories weird policies. So I like the stories they are really relatable but still magical and a fun escape. The only thing I don’t like is: you can buy a story ahead of time, but the next story time doesn’t change. Which means if I spend 17 coins on the next chapter to get it a day early, I’m still waiting 2 days for the next one. I’ve gotten myself in this situation where I read 7 chapters ahead of time and it will be a week before I get the next chapter. I’m the kind of person that needs to consistently read a story to keep Interest. If I break away to another story I just loose interest in the other story. I could just wait and only read one book, but when a chapter is 15 minutes and I have 2 hrs of free time I’m going to pick something else up. I’ll likely stop reading the book because of the long wait times. Same reason I left Galatea. Really good app but I couldn’t wait the long time for the next chapter. In the end I get distracted by something else.

please download this app. 100% the best. july 31, 2020. i absolutely love this app. i am on it most of my time. probably an estimate of 19 hours a day because i only get a few hours of sleep. i regularly don’t go to sleep until like 6 am because i am reading on this app. the only thing i only really like is that you have to wait like almost 24 hours to get coins to be able to read ONE chapter. besides the coin situation, this app is the BOMB. i highly recommend this app for people who love to read. it includes high school dramas, supernatural drama/romance books, and just romance including mafia/mob books. my personal favorite genre is the supernatural and high school because they are they best. this app has inspired me that i should become a writer because the authors of these books really help you understand. also, below the picture of a story, there is a bio which provides either a preview or summary of the book. IM IN LOVE WITH THE APP. I RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THIS APP.

Why. One why does my 50% coupon keep disappearing way before the date of expiration, this is the second time I purchased one only for it to disappear when I open the book again. Second why does it cost so much to read a book 25 dollars later and I still won’t finish the book because it cost more coins to unlock chapters than if you buy a hardcover book at the store. I love the stories on here but it it’s literally costing an arm and leg to finish a book. Setting a set price for a book at the beginning or lowering coins needed to unlock a chapter by at least half will really help this site also offering other ways to gain reading coins and not bonus points would also really help. Tried to get help from the support team only to be told it’s been used smh I had not used it because I didn’t have enough coins I’m over this app all it does is take your money for ntn in return. It’s a shame because I really do enjoy the stories but will not be putting any more money into this app.

Needs improvement. The stories are very nice but they’re in DIRE need of an accomplished, well read editor! The coin system is okay but the wait time for new chapters to open for free is absolutely ludicrous. There’s no way in this world or the next that I’d pay cash money to read a book on an electronic device. This is only because I prefer the look, smell and feel of real books but whatever floats your boat. The grammatical errors are a definite challenge for avid readers because we become immersed in books and those errors sometimes abruptly falcon kicks us out of the story and into reality. That’s not good. We then have to reset and try to re-immerse ourselves in the story again and that’s not easy. What ticks me off the MOST is someone penning a story about Lycans, yet not knowing how to CORRECTLY spell rogue! It’s rogue; meaning not a part of, separate from, inferior, dishonest, etc. Whereas rouge is freaking cheek make-up! Sharing the app info via e-mail, text, social media should gain you HUGE points!

I love it but…. The app itself is amazing. No ad breaks. Just a steady flow of chapters. The only thing that upsets me is that so many Wattpad writers are switching over to Dreame where the bonus coins a very little and the cost to buy coins is too high. Most people who join the app are mainly above the age of 15 or are 15 but don’t have credit cards or even money to pay for a really good book that is enjoyed by many users. I tried using Dreame for a while but the mobile app doesn’t allow you to create stories from your phone or tablet. Instead you either have to do it on a laptop or switch to another app. I’ve had Wattpad since I was in elementary school and first heard of Dreame when I reached middle school. I figured this app might have more books to read so why not give it a try. I’m 16 now and nothing has changed. My question to the “Dreame” team is: why can’t you be different and do something that is done on other reading apps? Because so far, I am not impressed.

Good. It's a great app, I love the layout and there's only one thing I would want to be improved for there to be a 5 star rating. The first being that when I finish a story I would like the option to click a button(like a finished button) that would take it off of my current reading list but keep it off my suggested. It would be improved alot if (and I know this is alot harder and probably not possible) that most stories be the wait to read ones, as I don't have a million dollars to read all the stories I find interesting but cost coins. Overall a easy to navigate app with no issues. Obviously there will be some spelling mistakes as its written by real people without publishers, that's not a problem. The stories pick up from where I left off for the most part. So overall best reading app I have as I really enjoy the aspect of reading other people's stories.

Waaay to expensive. The books are essentially just everyday writers. They’re not edited and most are written simply. I got it excepting to at most need a few dollars to read an unpublished book. I was super super wrong. They give the first few chapters free and they allow you to earn bonus coins. This got me to chapter 10 of 77 chapter book. The chapters were short. So I knew I’d run out of said bonus points quickly. At chapter 10 I went in to purchase some actual coins. For 1000 coins it was $9.99 and you get 300 bonus coins so essentially 1300 coins. The problem is each chapter is 37-45 coins. So for $10 bucks I’m going to just be a little past half way on the book. This is a simple book and if I were to buy it in store new I could not imagine the whole book more then $9.99 and then it would be edited. I think I’d have to spend $20 to read just one small book, in this app. A book I could read all in one night. Honestly it’s just too much money. I’m curious on what happens but not $20 curious. They need to lower their cost a LOT.

App Issues. Some stories are better than others, some authors proofread better than others. But my main issue is the app itself. It’s not super straightforward in how it works (particularly getting to the main info page once in a book or removing a book added as a favorite). The biggest issue is a bug in their system that allows for chapters to disappear. Often, if u leave the app for an hour or more when I come back in it refreshes, and it refreshes by replacing my current chapter with one from earlier in the book. The chapter title is correct, but the information is replaced by an earlier one and you end up missing whatever was in that chapter (or episode I guess). This happens every time and has happened for multiple books from multiple authors. To avoid this happening I have to scroll back 2 episodes so that at least what gets replaced is one I already read. I have no idea how this even happens from a coding standpoint, but it’s very, very annoying and after I get done with the current book I’m reading I’ll likely not use this app again because of it.

A huge pain but I really want to finish this book. I started a good read and got to read several chapters or episodes (whatever) and then it started asking me to purchase coins. Thankfully you can earn some coins by completing tasks but I would rather read the book! Also, I have 84 more chapters to read at approximately 30 coins per chapter (some more, some less)...ridiculous! If I purchase the coins out right I will pay $25 for the rest of the book! I don’t pay that for paperbacks! Starting a read and being forced to stop because I don’t have the coins to open the next chapter is annoying! Also, I paid twice for one chapter because it wouldn’t unlock...and it is locked again! AND it was exactly the same chapter as a previous chapter when it did unlock briefly. In summary, paying for chapters is crap! I’ll pay for the whole book but per chapter is for the birds! The prices are WAY too steep! I don’t mind buying books but I do mind paying a fortune for them! If ever I get this story finished (and I have my doubts) I will NOT start another one unless things are done differently.

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I’m Not A Dollar $ign. I don’t know what’s going on, as I haven’t had trouble in the past with Dreame when I had coin or chapter issues?! BUT I have emailed them 5 times in the past few weeks regarding a book I have paid for completely! For some reason, the chapters in the middle of the book did not unlock, so I emailed Dreame with an explanation of the issue and a screen shot of the purchase, which should be an easy fix... either they unlock the chapters for me on their end, or reimburse me so I can do so on my end. I haven’t even gotten ONE email from Dreame asking me any questions or apologizing for the inconvenience! I’m at my Wits end! There’s no where, I know of, to go to complain or to get my remaining money back on my account! It is EXTREMELY UPSETTING as there are a few authors on here I really enjoy! Unfortunately, due to Dreame’s lack of interest in aiding paying customers I will be spending my money on other Reading Apps from now on! (Dreame, you could have had an entirely different rating from this Customer, had you treated me as something other than a $ Dollar $ign!)

Scam-Fraud. Whatever you do do not purchase coins from this company! I made a purchase so I could finish reading a novel without waiting however it said I was supposed to receive X number of coins and X number of bonus coins. I completed the purchase and got less than half the number of bonus coins. Upon contacting customer service I was asked to provide proof which I did of the offer, what I received, and the receipt I was simply told different payment methods receive different levels of bonus. It did not say this anywhere and I have never had this problem at Good Novel or any other app! I have always received what it said I was supposed to but NOT with Dreame all I get from them is excuses! While I understand the bonuses are in fact a bonus if they are going to list a bonus amount they should distribute that amount or just not list anything so any amount is a happy surprise. Will never buy coins from them again I will spend my money on other apps that deliver what they promise.

So helpful! Quick assistance!!. Awhile ago I had an issue where I couldn’t login to some of my accounts. I tried to go through Facebook to get help (from the Dreame Fans) or an idea of what was wrong, but no one responded. I contacted the customer service/ Feedback, and not an hour later I was contacted back and walked through what the problem was. The app needed to update to fix my problem, so it did take a little bit.(5 days.) The People I spoke too were very kind and extremely helpful! Thank you! I love this app, and the people!! I just wanted to say this because I forgot to put a review before to thank them. Also I wanted to mention this because, if anyone else has technical difficulties with the app, just know that they will assist you the best and fastest way they can. So again Thank you Dreame!!

Lost in a different world. I love the books and the reads but however I don’t like that it goes off network and I lose stuff! My internet works fine I can get into everything with the exception of dreame and when it went off line I lose almost 800 coins it’s be ok if I didn’t have to buy those! I can’t even get on the support to get my coins back or find out what happen to the network and why I was kicked off and than lost my coins I am able to write this review but still can not access my books and get my coins back! I would like to know how I can get them back! Otherwise I am forced to ask for a refund and delete dreame however I love getting lost in a different world when I read these books but I can afford my money to go to waste!!! I would like for someone for support to get a hold of me or give me a number I can call because I can’t access it through the app itself with it being off network!

Good stories but hard reads. I’ve read two stories so far and both I have had to reread the sentences to understand them. The grammatical errors and punctuation make it seem like these are rough drafts of someone’s thought process for a good book. The first book I read went from first person to second person and then back to first person depending on the paragraph and what was going on in the chapter, it takes me awhile to wrap my head around the storyline going back and forth. I do understand the coins, but I wish there was more to do to earn them, waiting 80 days for a chapter to open up is ridiculous to me. I will spend my money on complete books that are not in the rough draft stage. The story lines seem great, just wish there was some editing process on here before the stories are published so we would want to spend our money to find out the rest of the story when we don’t have enough free coins to continue the book.

good concept, waaay overpriced. i love the concept for writers to get there stories out there. i do feel they should be paid for reading their work....but this app is ridiculous. it is taking advantage of both the writers and the consumers. other apps keep the price of a book no more than $10. yet this one is trying to charge me $35 for half the chapters? with all the other options out there, i hope more people switch to more affordable ones. then maybe you may rethink your pay structure. especially since there are many unpolished books with extreme grammatical and spelling errors, and i’m not the kind of person to be bother so much by those .... but considering i can actually purchase a physical book that has been edited for less than raw writing, is absurd. kindle is probably the best base line for reading apps, including those who write their own .... the writers would even get more exposure... hopefully Dreame will look into doing that. for me that is where i will continue to spend my money and support budding writers.

Great books but the app cheats you on money. Honestly the books are awesome and they’re not sincerely actual length books and the writers are writing them while you read them which is kind of cool but I guess Can annoy if you want to read a book through and don’t know what’s going on. The app company will rob you which I saw for myself when purchasing coins to buy a book. It said the coin value I was buying game with a bonus of 500 coins. Never got it. So just be mindful of the tricks because I see it’s a running trend with their complaints. If you don’t purchase the full book (which isn’t even always an option, so beware) be prepared to to use coins to unlock chapters which are ridiculously priced. This app doesn’t have a great model for real readers. They need better pricing and really need to fix the glitches with the coins if they expect readers to stay because there are a lot of great book app out there and this app is literally running the fan base away.

Okay, but not free. The books are clearly written by fans and not great writers, but it’s nice to see how writers progress and grow with their writing and story telling. It’s frustrating because it’s a free download but then you either have to spend real money to read episodes (which ends up being more expensive than buying an actual whole book in some cases) or you have to wait for an author to complete a new installment. There are bonus coins available for free, but they aren’t enough to read a whole book without spending any real money. I read published books in a day or two, if you consider that published books have been edited and the grammar is checked to make it readable, some of these books are frustrating to pay essentially full price for without the added benefit of having to decipher what an author is trying to spell/say.

Books are good. I appreciate this app, but what I don’t appreciate is the continuous wanting to take money from me, just to read a book. I’m not gonna pay $100 to read a book ;when, a book should only cost 15bucks at the most! It is unfair for readers to come on hear, and we really do not receive any bonuses. We pay to get those extra bonuses! You want us to use money! You have no subscription service available on a month-to-month basis? This app does not make it worth it to me to pay any more money than I have. You ask so much just open the next chapter! If you went into a bookstore, these books would not be worth $100. This is ridiculous. To The makers of this app ,You guys need to do better!

So many glitches and no customer support. This app had great writers that I love , however it has many glitches and there is no way to address them . If you email them a complaint they do not respond. Or it won’t even let you send a complaint . The coins cost way too much to finish a book and this gives little perks to keep you interested. The writers are what keep this app going Because customer service is seriously lacking . They not given me credit for coins bought and when I go to unlock episodes it unlocked what it wanted and not in the order I was reading . So that causes me to either buy more cotton finish out or wait to earn more which is a slow process . But the earned coins expire if not used fast enough . Go figure ..... maybe offering some free episodes once you ha e read so many would be a nice incentive, or after so many days and hours of reading gift more than 5-30 coins when one episode can need 44 coins to open . You’re not even giving enough for a free read . You only get bonuses if you buy them .

Just Because I need coins. Im simply leaving a five star review because i need the coins and im sure as hell not going to purchase coins which to me seem totally unnecessary and a scam. So far I have not had any grammatical errors or things like that, that others have talked about. The story im reading (which was the short that was on the ad on facebook that made want to download the app) is very good and entertaining makes me want to keep reading more and more. That said, its absolutely absurd that you need to either purchase coins (which turn out to be way more expensive than actually getting a paperback) or wait 5+ days to unlock ONE chapter if your arent willing to pay for it. Im just going to finish reading the story i downloaded the app for (if i ever manage to without spending money) and then hitting uninstall.

Used to love it, but now.... I used to love this app so much, it was well maintained and the stories are absolutely amazing. The variety stories are great and they have something different everyday I’m looking forward to reading, making me always add something bookshelf. However, each time I add something by bookshelf, the books disappear. Another issue I’m having is whenever I exit the app or leave momentarily to take care of something, the app restarts and whatever progress I’ve made is erased and I have to figure out where I left off. Despite how much I love this app and the stories, the maintenance of the app has definitely decayed. I have sent messages to the company various times letting them know I have issues, but they have ignored me each time. This is so frustrating and inconvenient, I’m tempted to delete the app; despite, the progres I have in so many stories. I hate that I might never know how they finished, but with the way things are, I can’t support this app anymore. I don’t think I can stick with an app that doesn’t fix the problems abs chooses to ignore people try to communicate with them.

Enjoyed the book, the errors not so much.... I read one book, as I read it I wondered how hard it would have been to ask a friendly two to pre-read it before hitting the publish button, surely they could have caught the small spelling and grammar errors especially if someone is going to end up paying $10 for this book - 40 chapters at an average of $.25 per chapter. And for whatever reason if I was away from the book for a couple hours when I picked it up again the chapter I was in the middle of would suddenly revert back to the first chapter of the book. It would read Chapter 26 on top but it would be the beginning of the story. I would miss chapter 26, but I had the chance to read chapter 1 at least 6 times throughout the book, which is very frustrating when you are paying for each chapter. I really would not recommend this app for someone to purchase. I could not even figure out if I have credits lefts.

potential app. just annoying.. I don’t like the fact that i would constantly have to pay money to read when i can just deal with very few adds that writers allow on their stories after a chapter and it be completely free. There are real published books out there so why should i have to pay to read these books that are not published and use wrong grammar and harder to read at times? I have friends who love to read online and can’t with this app bc you have to pay to read and they have bills to pay and still in high school and college. there should be daily coins or something that would make me and others want to keep the app. It’s pointless to pay to read amateurs books with many grammar miss usage and MANY MORE errors after every chapter when i could by a real published book online for cheaper. plus i prefer the turning pages style of reading and not then scrolling down and i couldn’t find a way to change that.

Good starts, bad continuations. I have been using this app for weeks now trying to get through a story that intrigued me from the beginning that caught me on Facebook. Got so far into it and started hating the MC but I found another that intrigued me more so I tried that one. The whole ‘using coins’ thing wouldn’t be so bad if each chapter didn’t cost so many, or you could just by the entire book. I have also started getting tired of grammatical errors and even continuity errors. I have had bonus coins for checking in daily disappear without unlocking a chapter, which takes DAYS to unlock, and then the rest gets locked. I have skipped a couple chapters that later seemed less like an issue until today when I went to check back and it skipped me further down and I couldn’t even figure out what was last read. I like the story I’m reading but I’m getting increasingly more and more frustrated with the short chapters, the errors and the whole coin situation. Idk how much longer I will tolerate this but before too long I will be deleting the app, story finished or not.

Technical Support doesn’t respond. I’ve sent an email to Technical support through the app explaining the bugs and issues that are happening with the app that multiple people have stated that have happened to them, as well as myself, and have yet to hear anything back and it’s been almost a week. Multiple people, including myself, are having issues with the app resetting the books in their library and even having the issue with some of their books, that they’ve either already paid for with their coins or have unlocked with the “wait to unlock” option lock back up and make us pay for those chapters and books all over again. It’s disheartening to see that multiple people are having this issue and nothing is being done. I love using the app to read and support writers but if this is going to continue to happen and nothing be done about it, then myself and possibly many others will end up deleting the app. Please address and fix the issue before it comes to that.

Enjoyable but flawed. I enjoy the stories I’ve been reading, and though the grammar could be better, it doesn’t stop me from reading said stories. The one thing that bothers me is the waiting period to continue reading and the fact there’s no real way to accumulate coins unless you buy them. I understand this is used to support the authors of their works and such, but the fact that I either have to spend money on coins or wait up to 4 days for a story that’s already out is a little outrageous. I hope there’s a way add could be implemented in this because I wouldn’t mind having to watch an ad to continue reading rather than having to keep paying money in order to read more without having to wait. But not everyone has the availability to be spending money on stuff like this and the wait time has definitely made me consider if this app is worth it. I just don’t feel like the wait time for the new chapter is appropriate. I could understand a couple hours but seriously? Days?

Only for coins not that impressed!. I am literally only doing this review for coins. I never write reviews on things. It’s an alright enough app. Nothing crazy awesome about it, fortunately the amount of material available is nice. As far as the stories, they are moderate on the scale. Someone should go through and proof read these, for real. Lots of grammatical, as well as spelling errors. I am in no way a writer, or a grammar nazi, but for future reference they have quite a few mistakes in each one. The app is slightly irritating in the sense of having to purchase each chapter. I am a pretty speedy reader and it’s more annoying to have to purchase each and every chapter as you go. As a busy mom, I do like being able to get on an app vs pick up a book. Overall I realistically give this app 2.5 stars vs the 5 star.
