Fantastic app. Was hesitant at first giving the app permission to use my email address but so far no known issues. Whenever you place an order the app pulls the data from your email and enters it into the route app and lets you know via alerts when a label is created, where it is currently at in real time, wether it is at the shippers warehouse or at a delivery service center somewhere, which is awesome for anticipating delivery. Currently I have 6 orders that were pulled from my email and I can tell exactly where they all are, each package on the map has a logo of the website I ordered from as a thumbnail of the package which is very helpful. This app takes away from the crappy infrastructure of utilizing tracking numbers with ups, fed-ex, dbl, etc. Overall I never write reviews, like ever, but I would highly recommend anyone and everyone downloading this app.

Shady. Ppl must not read what they want access too, there’s absolutely no reason for it, they’re tracking a package. SMH, they automatically choose the three things they want access to, and they make access to your emails an option you can actually choose. Why would anybody want a package tracking company to not only have access to so much personal information, but also your emails? I think the only reason they do it, because it’s even more absurd, to the three they’re already making you agree to it. To throw ppl off, it’s crazy, and they know ppl will just click, and not even be bothered to read it. I don’t know this to be a fact, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t selling your info, and that’s where they make the bull of their money. Take a minute to look at what they want you to agree to, it has absolutely nothing to do with the service they provide. It’s not necessary for them to perform the task ppl are downloading the app for. The place I made my purchase uses the USPS, which’s without question the worst carrier in the country. But I can just as easily track it through them, same goes for UPS, and FedEx, who both have shipping/tracking apps.

I wish I knew about this app sooner. I never thought it was something I wanted to have, but once I downloaded it and added my orders by tracking number, I was surprised by how helpful and handy it is view the location and status of all my orders from different merchants at once. No longer do I constantly have to open separate emails to see individual statuses. Now, I open the app and see it all in one place. I like the GPS feature that displays the last logged locations of each package on the world map with highlighted routes. The only complaint I have is that I cannot link my email because the app requires it to be a Gmail account. This app could be five stars if they let me use my Outlook email. That was one of the things that turned me off in this app. Also, many of my packages do not have extra details like some other orders, such as an ETA and current location from the beginning. This makes this app useless with some orders. Im not sure if this is something Route can control, however. Sometimes the ETA only updates on the day of delivery. I would like to know that when I add the order, not just last minute. Overall, great app and I hope more merchants start integrating this tool. Very helpful.

Cool App. The creators of the app have actually checked in to see if it has brought value to my deliveries. Think that’s the 1st time that’s ever happened. This is pretty brilliant that they find your deliveries if u can get over the whole big brother aspect of it all. It has made it easy to know where/when things are coming instead of going through your emails and tracking. There are some that have been missed but am not taking a star off bc they’ve checked in to make sure they get those kinks worked out so I think this app will be valuable as far as saving time, especially come Christmas time!

Thank you Route!. We have worked with Route for about two years. When we first started with Route, the representatives were patient in training the team on their services. In the beginning, the team had many questions, and every time our Route representative would take the time to meet with us via zoom. Route's responsiveness was appreciated because sometimes vendors aren't always responsive. Route is helpful because they cover the customer's order if it gets lost, stolen, or damaged per their guidelines. Since our company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages as outlined in our Shipping Policy, the option for a customer to add Route to their purchase makes them feel secure if something were to happen to their package. Route is also helpful because if a customer files a claim about their package, Route will replace it or refund their purchase themselves so that our customer is taken care of and the company saves money."

Highly recommend!. Route is something I never knew I needed, until I tried it. It makes tracking my packages so much easier, as it’s all in one place. If I want to check the status of a package, instead of having to go through my email and find and place in individual tracking numbers, I just click the app and the status of every package is displayed before me. It’s also highly convenient that you don’t have to manually enter every package in, as it can link to your email and be automatically put in every time you make a purchase. It’s made online shopping so much easier, and I really recommend it.

Their selling your information. Just wanted to let everyone know before you download that they are selling your information to other companies when you download their app you are signing an agreement for this so buyer beware. Also buyer beware that this is an absolute nightmare of a company! They will lose your packages, mix them up, say packages have been sent but have not been sent yet and packages that have arrived have not arrived yet and switch those two around! They will not respond to your emails except with generic information and when you ask them to please respond you will get a “we your problem was solved generic email”. Not to mention that their website is glitchy. Look elsewhere if you value your sanity. Update: after a week still no response from route on my items. I think these people have some fake reviews on here cause there’s no way this company is a five-starred company. Also there’s a bunch of complaints on the Better Business Bureau. Beware!!!

Agile and considerate dev/design team. I really enjoyed using Route. I like most of the features and interface design of the app, making my waiting time a more enjoyable experience. But what I love the most is how responsive their dev team is. Over the last month I submitted 3 bug report and feature suggestions (wrong tracking timestamp, duplicated order/mistaking delivery orders, and malfunctioning iOS widget). And now all of them are fixed. I only submit feature suggestions or bugs for apps that I like and want to see it improve, and it’s delightful to see how the dev and design teams value their user’s feedback. You guys are doing great already and you will do even better in the future!

Don’t Buy Package Protection. This may sound like a good deal until a package is actually lost. Many times, especially with USPS, they won’t mark a package lost for over two weeks as it moves around to the wrong distribution locations. With Route’s package protection, however, this information is meaningless as they have set timetables that you have to dig through their terms to find that are supposedly based on carrier timetables. Just check all the reviews on their Better Business Bureau page to see that this is a common occurrence. Oh, and speaking of the BBB, Route has D- rating. You have to work to get a rating that bad. Not to mention that the app wants read access to your emails. You’ll just have to trust their word they (and all of their employees) would never do something nefarious with such access. They claim to have gone through an extensive audit with a “leading cyber privacy firm” to show that it’s safe, but there’s no proof of that. You’ll just have to trust them. No thanks.

This was a fail for me.. I made a purchase, online, from a vendor out of Texas. Got a confirmation of my order and a message that Route was their “new” method of tracking packages. I installed the application, then went looking. I saw my current purchase and some old ones. The only reason I gave two stars was due to a couple of purchases I made from Newegg that showed up. Looking ok so far. To my disappointment when I checked out my recent order it showed my item sitting in a shipping container somewhere near Illinois since August 2021. Route showed no delivery date, just that the order was made. I went to my vendors site to find they showed no order was made, no tracking number and my address is missing. Not able to change address either. I did get a email from the vendor providing another tracking number different from the one provided by Route. This was obviously a problem with the vendor. I then get an email from FedEx that the package was in route and a delivery date. Route knew I had an order from this online vendor but the information was bogus. Not even close to the truth. Route did not show anything about FedEx being the delivery service, no valid tracking number, no delivery date and the tracking history was way off.

No unfettered access to my email accounts.. There needs to be a way to track packages without giving unlimited access to my email account. This is a perfect set up for identification theft. There is no way to 100% guarantee that a company won’t leave you open to some someone with mal intent via hacking. I won’t do business with any company that uses Route and doesn’t have another way to track, resolve shipping issues and returns without having unfettered access to my email accounts. This was my first and last shopping trip with Very Jane as Route is there company of choice and not giving me choice in another way to track. I have used another app called Shop and they have two ways to use their app. I can fully track my purchases without giving access to my email accounts. That’s what I prefer, unfortunately I will be removing this app.

Think your package is insured by Route? Think again. UPDATE: Route apparently read a growing list of negative reviews and magically responded, offering to settle my claim. Too little, too late. I just hope other ppl or small businesses don’t find themselves entangled with trying get Route to honor a claim. It’s awful. It all started with the Route app being completely clueless as to the whereabouts of my shipment and went downhill from there. Hello, hello, is anyone there? Crickets. So maybe I’m talking to an AI app or maybe there is a human sending me emails? What I do know is I received ZERO help. The upshot is Route “insurance” is bogus. Rather than honor my claim… “Please know I’m here to help with this issue…because your package was marked as delivered by the shipping carrier and you did not receive it, we must consider the package to be stolen…you must file a police report...and we’ll walk your through” Spare me false comforts, please. My shipment was not stolen. The FedEx rep admits the driver mishandled and delivered my shipment to the wrong address. Now it’s lost somewhere in the FedEx system. Regardless, my Route claim is not being honored and there is zero value doing business with an incompetent, bogus package insurer. I know many systems are straining right now. I get it. But just be honest: if you provide a service at least try to resolve a problem rather than hang your customers out to dry.

Unless you are ordering a lot this seems like a pretty pointless/intrusive app to me.. I recently ordered a couple records online and to my surprise got an email for the shipping telling me to download this app. No thanks, I just want the link in the email I can open up to take me to USPS.. you know.. the people who are actually in possession of my package? Only the link in the email doesn’t work if you just click the “prefer to track online” it brings up a broken webpage with no information on it regarding the package. Fine, I’ll download the freakin app so I can see how much longer I have to wait for my package. Now, first thing it wants is to link up with my email? No, I don’t want an app having access to all of my email. Luckily there is a manual “add package/delivery” button thing, cool go to look for the required tracking number in my emails from this dumb app/the online store NONE OF THEM CONTAIN MY TRACKING NUMBER, only a “route” number that apparently is only for when something goes wrong with my package?? What the heck is with this stupid pointless app?? What was wrong with having a link that led you straight to carries page with the actual information? Will actively avoid places that use this stupid thing. Unless you are ordering multiple things from multiple different places and can’t be bothered to look at them individually and also don’t mind having some weird third party having access to the email you use for online shopping, then don’t bother with this app.

Not really sure about this. Never downloaded a shipment tracking app that asks for access to all my info. Like route wants access to your emails, your messages, your location, and I don’t know why they need access to my messages. The shop app is easy but what I just ordered won’t let me track it this route app asks way too many questions just to get started and it’s annoying I’m just trying to click on my order abd find out where it’s at abd when it’s going to get here but I have to go through this drawn out process just to give access to everything. And I’m not doing that. So I’m out Update: ordered something again.... no information ever shows up on my orders. It sure why it automatically selects route for tracking because I’ll never get tracking until it’s already arrived. Can’t stand this app. Does anyone know a way to stop the automatic tracking with route and switch to the shop app? The shop app actually works, not sure how this app gets good reviews and 5 stars because I’ve never had any tracking info until I already get my package. Something’s gotta give

wonderful app, needs better onboarding. I discovered the app when one of my purchases prompted downloading it for the tracking info and I decided to give it a go. linked my google account to it because single sign on seemed easier than signing up by email and manually added existing purchases and then was pleasantly surprised to discover that when I made new orders they were added automatically! I love to have all my deliveries in one and it’s a really nifty app I imagine I’d continue using for years to come. Having said that, here’s some feedback on how you could make it even better: 1. Explain that route is for tracking all your purchases in one place, the way it was presented to me was that this is a place to track that one single purchase I made originally and it was annoying to download an app just for that. 2. Explain that linking the email account allows for new orders to automatically appear on the route app. 3. While you’re at it, allow linking multiple emails to a single account. Some people use multiple email addresses and others just want to organize their own and their spouse’s purchases in one place. But overall, really awesome app, thanks!!

Great but sometimes has a severe tracking error.. It is reliable in notifying you when your packages have either shipped or arrived at your doorstep, but if you live in a place that has a name that looks similar to another to…let’s say a robot, then it may show that your package was delivered to that town instead of your place. You won’t really know where exactly your package is if something doesn’t look right on Route’s end…at least on the map. It even makes it look like your packages have been taken for a ride near places it’s already been to before being delivered to you, or to a town in another state. Rest assured, it still goes to your door even though it makes it look like it doesn’t. Other than the tracking on the map itself, which is probably ran by a bot, everything else seems reliable. This has been my experience with this app and hopefully this bug will get fixed.

Delayed information. I’m shocked to see it’s 4.8 rating but I am glad this has worked so well for so many others. You’d think after gaining access to my entire life through privacy allowances, this app would be able to properly track most of my packages. Instead I constantly have to put in my tracking numbers and update when items are delivered. I was thinking maybe because of the pandemic it’s getting confused, but my items come from a variety of shipping sources and it’s always wrong or heavily delayed 😩. Even the filter function doesn’t seem to work properly, this is where you can choose to see all order statuses, those in transit, or those yet to ship. I hate to say this but I always end up more confused about all my pending orders and still end up getting a piece of paper and writing down my orders and their ETAs. Because I am also holding USPS accountable for being absolute trash for over a year now, I gave the app some leeway on Being unable to get up-to-date information from their shipping process.

In a few tweaks can be 5 stars. Initially I had a bad experience with the app, but after contacting their customer service, they realized the initial claim denial was incorrect. I wish there was a way to contact customer service through the app. The only I was able to find the customer service email was reading previous reviews and developer answers in here. Add a way to be contacted or at least the option for a claim review inside the app. I have deleted my previous negative review and the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I had to do the leg work looking for a way to contact the app. After speaking with Brielle (5 stars) by email, she resolved quickly and made another order. I’m waiting for the new package and hopefully will arrive with no problems this time.

Waste of money. I would give this app zero stars, if I could. I placed one order that was shipped in 3 packages. It shows the packages all delivered(2 packages), which isn’t true. The one that says it was delivered hasn’t been yet. The package it said that wasn’t shipped, already arrived. None of the packages were what they said it would be. I will save money & won’t be using route again, because it is a scam imho. If you know the package wasn’t delivered. They will actually ask you to make a police report, even if you know it wasn’t stolen. The shipper should already have insurance on it. I paid $5 and change for nothing. The order came to just over $100. Many shippers only offer $100 insurance.. so I decided to use it, because it is glass. They charge about 5% of the items value. I wish I could get a refund for their bad service, but that won’t happen. So I am leaving this review to help others. If my last package is damaged, in any way. I will be making a claim. If they don’t pay it. I will just file a complaint with the FTC for bad business practices.

Awful data harvesting trash app. The google requirements are awful, the tracking service is no more advanced or up to date than the standard online usps tracking services. This company is fooling other corps. into partnership just to force a completely useless “no one asked for this” app and let’s be clear data collector onto the phones of unsuspecting victims. Why do I have to download a separate app to track my package now? This is a ridiculous and absurd rip off intentionally designed to harvest more data out of the end user and serves no other purpose and in exchange gives nothing unique or special in terms of their services. All of the info contained on this app could be got without the app and without the unnecessary data tracking. This app is literally more trouble than just giving me a post number. Complete and utter abuse of data and a rip off to the end user, actually manages to complicate the process of tracking a package.

They take your money and then leave you out to dry. Worthless company. Worthless app. Worthless “technology.” I ordered a couple of items and paid the extra dollar for them to be insured by route. Long story short, my package gets shipped but the courier forgot to scan the package (this was confirmed by the merchant that I purchased from) and was deemed lost in transit. I got in contact with route and get a boiler plate email asking if it had been at least 7 days since the last shipping update. Isn’t that information you already have Route? You do offer tracking in your app so how do you not know the last time my shipment was updated? I then message them directly explaining the circumstances of what happened (how the merchant said that the shipment left their facility and wasn’t scanned -deeming it lost in transit) and their response, days later, was to close my inquiry and say it’s not in their problem to cover the loss because technically the tracking system says that it hasn’t shipped. I messaged them again reminding them that it has been deemed lost by the merchant and they immediately closed my inquiry without responding. Nice. So moral of the story, don’t bother with this company they aren’t worth it. What’s worse than losing your package in the mail? Losing your package in the mail after paying someone to insure it who then decides they aren’t going to insure it anyways. I hope your company burns to the ground.

What? Why?. I’m not sure why this app, who is so needing in MY PERSONAL INFO, won’t let me add details to my order while using the app. I’ve had several preorders from the same company and it looks all the same with no info added just yet. I have that particular info needed. I could easily add it, making all the orders, looking all the same which is very confusing, slide into their correct location. Again, making orders less confusing. Unfortunately, there is no way for me, as just a user of this app to add any info, other than MY PERSONAL INFO, about the actual order like, say, a tracking number?? That should seem important, it is what they do, right? It’s kinda’ all they do, right? So, I can start with tracking numbers being info I already have before this app, there is much more but, again, no way to add it. I just give this app alotta MY PERSONAL INFO with no way to add/adjust anything? I’m just on for the ride with this app, I suppose, after giving them MY PERSONAL INFO.

App Failed, but humans performed. UPDATE: Humans got involved and a claim was honored. Humans: 5 stars, app 1 star, average 3 stars. ORIGINAL: App didn’t have accurate information, they showed international item had not shipped, notified them that it had, they contacted me, but still didn’t update the app. When package stopped shipping progress and I tried to file a claim, READ TERMS!- international: no sooner than 20 days, but no later than 30 days, they denied claim because they stated the packaged hadn’t shipped yet, again I was able to show it had- wait isn’t that part of what your service is suppose to offer- accurate tracking? Again, I supplied proof and no response. So, I tried again to initiate a claim and they now state it is outside of the 30 day timeframe. Ah, no, all the information was supplied before 30 days, but your lack of an effective app has caused you to not have accurate tracking data to effectively deal with my claim. This service is a headache and has caused me lost time and worse, no reimbursement for the lost item. My advice, save your money and don’t purchase their protection, in my case it has been worthless.

Why. I hate using Route. Any time I’ve been forced to use Route, I never know what’s happening with my package. At least for me, the location hardly updates, and they also never mark my packages as “delivered”. I have to mark it “delivered” MYSELF through the app. What is the point of a package tracker that doesn’t really do its job? I hate having to download a new stupid app every time I want to track a package. Y’all aren’t doing anything different than Fedex UPS or USPS or OnTrac etc. In fact, you guys are worse than OnTrac, which is an amazing feat because I didn’t think that was possible. And just so we’re clear, I live in Los Angeles. This isn’t a complaint from some small town, this is a major city and they can’t even get it right here. Now imagine using this crud in some middle of nowhere town. Yuck. Fix it.

Horrible policies worse service.. They do not reimburse shipping charges or taxes on items shipped with their guarantee. Even when the item never arrives. As soon as I resolve an issue with an item that was “shipped” by a vendor that charged me for this service I am going to delete this app. The item I was tracking with this app never showed tracking information, even after it was delivered to me 5 days ago. What good is a tracking app that never shows tracking. I should get my money back since the app never did what I paid for. I don’t like that they have access to my email and other things in my iPad. This is pretty much a useless app when tracking is easily available with the major shippers that give constant updates on the status of your packages. I usually do not give negative reviews but in this case I couldn’t sleep if I didn’t leave honest feedback that hopefully will prevent someone making the same mistake I made. If I could give a “0” I would. It is hard to understand how this app is rated as high as it is.

I like it! There’s just one problem…. Seriously, this is a great app, exactly what I needed to help me keep track of things BUT the one fault is that I can’t rename the orders. I have ADHD and don’t remember I even ordered something until it shows up or it’ll pop into my brain months after it doesn’t (which is why I wanted this app). That and because my current living situation for whatever reason has a lot of issues with theft / carrier related package missing situations. So when I have (sometimes multiple) things that show up on the app as UPS or FedEx and I can’t rename them, I have no idea what’s coming and it’s especially frustrating if it says something is delivered and it isn’t there / I don’t get an email and I have to figure out what it is so I can report it. Anyway I’m sure this is an easy thing to add so if y’all could get on that I’d be super appreciative.

Worst shipping tracker I’ve experienced. I have been forced to use route for several different retailers and it has been deeply disappointing every single time!!! I never get any real tracking updates in fact I’ve had it be wrong about when my orders were even delivered. And while the actual shipping service appears to be different for each retailer the one thing that is consistent is if the tracking is done through Route it’s going to take even longer for me to get my order. Currently “tracking” an order that says it was shipped two days ago from an area an hour away from me, and the tracking says it’s ETA is still another week! How is that even possible?!?! Is someone walking it? Again big takeaway Route is not a helpful tracking app. I have not ever actually had accurate tracking updates. Retailers please stop forcing people to use this. At the very least allow us a choice.

needy app, gobbles down information. Purchased a product that recommended this app and service through a partnership. Route spammed me with multiple emails after the purchase (at least 5, probably more) pushing their app and service. I finally downloaded the app but it required signing up for yet another service, then wanted credentials to watch my email for tracking information. Look, regardless of whether my data is anonymized the fact of the matter is that I'm not paying Route, so they're harvesting information from me, and frankly that's creepy. I don't understand why I would give away all this information to track a package when all the major carriers already make it so simple to track packages. I encourage you to seriously consider what you're giving away in order to gain minimal benefit from "free" services like this who monetize information. I'm not a paranoid person and don't have any fear of being surveilled, but I do believe that breaking the direct link between payment and service is ultimately consumer hostile. You do pay for "free" services like this, but in an indirect way that prevents you from knowing the true value of your data and prevents you from having any agency over the use or value of that data.

Terrible signup flow. The signup flow is filled with dark patterns to get you to enable as many permissions as possible (including making it confusing to not directly link your Google account if you create an email-account with a gmail address). Please be more customer-friendly and improve your signup flow to include less “growth hacking” anti-features. Whoever added the confusing UI to try to coerce you to link your Google account after attempting to sign up with a gmail address (deliberately NOT selecting to link your Google account in the previous step) should be ashamed of themselves. I am surprised Apple even allows this. Please add a web client so I can use your service without giving you unnecessary data. I won’t pay for this again with the current app as it’s just a worse UX than a regular tracking link.

Bad idea. This is a horrible app that is not needed and unsafe , listen people before installing any app look below at all the data it collects on you before installing. This app tells me that in order to track a package I must use Gmail the kings of spam . Then when you get into the app it has a collection of very bad AI blogs on the inside filled with disinformation. We don’t need any of this too track a package as the old way with using the tracking from the people shipping the package works fine . Now someone has figured out how to collect more of our personal info and profit from it . The baby boomers just eat this stuff up as they will fall for anything. This is just a bad app with another back door invasion trying to get to the our private info .We again see more proof that Apple cares nothing for our protection and is scared to death of the developers by allowing this kind of Apps then supporting it with more fake reviews.

Completely useless and it’s NOT FREE! It’s a SCAM!. I got scammed into using this. How did I get scammed? The company I ordered from AUTOMATICALLY ADDED $1.00 to my online order. I didn’t ask for this, USPS already provides tracking FOR FREE! But no, this retailer added $.98 to my order and didn’t tell me. Why let your retailers scam like that? What for? To get package tracking that UPS, USPS and FedEx already provide FOR FREE!! This app just checks those tracking numbers for you and emails you worthless announcements that you package arrived. A useless app in search of stupid people willing to pay more for an item just to get what all the major carriers already provide FOR FREE!! And why in the heck is this app trying to sell me something, too? TRACKING IS ALREADY FREE, I DONT NEED TO PAY $.98 JUST SO AN AP CAN TRY TO UPSELL ME ITEMS. This app and business is insulting AND will die on the vine with all the other “great free ideas” that end up costing the end user their privacy while paying for something (and no, it’s NOT old fashioned) that is already FREE.

I was excited.... I think the app objective and interface are great, but poorly executed. My shipments are, in fact, moving yet the app still shows its waiting for shipping info. Multiple times now, I’ve had to mark a package as delivered when the app still shows its waiting for shipping info. I can’t see the multiple tracking numbers associated with an order or where each is at - again, “waiting for shipping info” This app has worked once, maybe twice, out of about 8 different times it’s attempted to track an order. Not a great track record thus far. I downloaded about 4 days ago. Update: I am now receiving notifications that items have been delivered, and those notifications are up to several weeks late..

Laborious/clunky. I am giving this three stars since I have not used it for very long, but so far it is much less user-friendly than a couple of other tracking apps I have been using for sometime. At least that is my experience. If I were to continue to use it and it continued to be a clunky platform requiring multiple steps to access the information I would like to receive, I would probably lower my rating to two stars. So far, I have not found a tracking app that is universally smooth and accurate, but since the functionality of this one already seems to be less than the ones I am currently using, I have already deleted it from my phone. I only download it out after making a purchase from a particular online website, otherwise I would have known nothing about it. I will stick with the ones I am using currently and perhaps research an even better one when I have the time.

Use Shop Instead. If you prefer more information (essentially the information the app is trying to offer, all in one tracking), use Shop instead. This app doesn’t include pertinent information. It omits information that is basically the entire reason the app exists. I find myself having to go to my email/google/etc. instead of having all the information I need right on the app. For example, you can’t click on tracking and see the shipment progress. It will let you copy the tracking ID but from that point I must now go enter it into something (google, email, whatever). Thus making the app essentially null. With Shop, it does everything you would expect and need. In the end, this app may as well just be an extremely useless, handicapped version of Shop where you can only access your tracking ID numbers and a vague update on the packages status (in transit, awaiting carrier, etc.) but since you can access this information just as easily from your email, it defeats the purpose of it existing. Just use Shop.

Good if connected to their service. This app advertises itself as a package tracking app, which it technically is, but it really only works better than others if the website you purchased from is using their service. If not, it asks you for the website you purchased from, then the tracking #. If you have multiple shipments from the same seller or repeat shipments, there is no way to tell them apart because it doesn’t give you any option to put a description, only the seller. I also have had consistent issues with the app not notifying me of delivered packages, and even after I open the app, it still shows as in route until I manually refresh the app. There are better all around apps out there. 1 I really like is Deliveries. Been using it for years, works great.

Do you shop online? DOWNLOAD ASAP!. Honestly, how have I lived without Route for this long? Coming from someone who literally hasn’t even stepped foot in a Target in years because I’m purely an online shopper, Route has finally put an end to my hours of combing through emails trying to find and organize my online purchases. Do you find yourself buying a lot of stuff online? Sometimes from big brands, sometimes from a boutique swim shop in Australia, or maybe even that random product you got lured into by an ad on Instagram? It isn’t always easy to keep track of the things we buy every day - that is, until I found Route. Route seriously saves me so much time. Open the app and I can visually see the status of EVERY order i make, and where it is on the map. No more worrying, no more follow ups with questionable customer service, and no more wondering. I know exactly where my items are, where they are going, and when they are arriving. This app has made my life exponentially easier already and it’s super intuitive and easy to use. Save yourself the headache of searching your inbox for the ONE email that maybe had a tracking number on it and get Route to do it for you instead. Game over 🙏🏽 now back to shopping ✅

The path to track the order is frustrating.. After a purchase with route tracking, an automated email arrives with two separate buttons that say “track your order”. Both of these buttons lead to the App Store to download the app that is already installed, instead of directing to the app, where the tracking should populate. It’s a wildly frustrating loop that leads to nowhere, which renders the main function of the app somewhat useless. On top of this, if you are an Etsy seller and you do not regularly use Route to manage your shipments, they will hover there until you manually mark all of them delivered. I wish there were an easier, more seamless ability to click one of the buttons from the automated email to import the associated order, along with mass editing abilities to mark multiple line items as complete or to delete from the list.

Download Page Clearly States It’s Data Mining. USELESS and worthless to the consumer as a tracking app, but very worthwhile for an app developer to collect all your data and sell it. Starting from user age 4 and up! I recently ordered something that required I use Route to insure a package ($1.15 added to order price-what a deal right?). I then got a few emails from Route about my order having shipped but was PROVIDED NO TRACKING NUMBER. The email said to click on the Route Link or the provided Carrier Link to see tracking number. Guess what? The carrier link wouldn’t work. You have to use the Route link and download the app which wasn’t something I wanted to do because it wanted to link up to my email etc etc. That’s when I got the ‘okay Route is a tracking app for all MY info’, not where my package is. But what really did me in was when I received a broken item and Route emailed and ASKED ME for the carrier and tracking number because “THEY COULDN'T FIND IT”. A TRACKING APP THAT NEEDS ME TO GIVE THEM THE CARRIER AND TRACKING NUMBER. So after hunting down the number I gave it to them and they declined the claim as “out of timeframe”. No explanation of what the timeframe is/was but eventually I found the answer after clicking and clicking and clicking around their site. Even the vendor was baffled by Route’s customer service so hopefully they go back to using Shop which in my experience has been near flawless in tracking.

Yet another online login. Let's start with this, you can't track your package without A) downloading their app or B) creating a new login or linking a Google account to it. The USPS is crap to begin with when it comes to tracking a package, so how certain are we that the tracking info they show will be accurate? I'd much prefer UPS and FedEx to something where you aren't required to login just to see the basic tracking info. Especially since Route is a one off. I've never encountered it until the purchase I made that automatically linked it for me. It was unnecessary. I wasn't even given the tracking info to utilize the crap services that the USPS provides. Not thrilled about having an app forced on me or being forced to create an account just to track a package that would normally not require it due to the delivery service being used (whether they are good or bad). Good idea, extremely poor execution.

Fails at its primary task. I have had things on order for more than a month with no status change. I had one item that was listed as awaiting tracking, but since I could not tell what the item was I did not know the item had been delivered several weeks before. To use the help you must write down the store you bought it from, tracking ID number and order number instead of being presented with a list of orders with other than delivered status contained within the app! The response to three completely different of my help queries was to cancel and combine them into one to which there was no answer. I gave Route several days to respond to my queries-NOTHING! One item is to be delivered this evening another tomorrow but route still shows as either “ready to ship” or “awaiting tracking.” I got the tracking from FedEx and discovered the delivery dates. That’s what I thought Route was supposed to do! I would not download this app and am planning on deleting it from my iPad.

Solution seeking problem, and still missing the mark.. This app is oddly reminiscent of the “Shop” app which performs…the exact same function. Which coincidentally was a function e-commerce vendors had managed for years to accomplish through email/text and carrier tracking sites/apis. Worse yet, unlike Shop and others I’ve not found a way around it. If a vendor participates in Route tracking, route becomes the sole source for tracking. If by some miracle the app manages to actually find any information on your shipment you might be lucky enough to harvest a carrier tracking number to track through carrier site/app like we all did for years with no issue. If they can’t get this working I guess I’ll have to start avoiding vendors who use Route if I need to actually track anything. So let’s review: an app I didn’t want for a service I didn’t ask for, with invasive privacy practices…oh, and it doesn’t work worth a plug nickel.

Replaced Slice with Route. I’d used Slice for many years and it improved nicely, but slowly it degraded over time until it was mostly useless. The hunt for a new tracking app began and I tried a few and narrowed it down to this app Route and one other called Shop which is better suited to a phone than a tablet. This app beat them all out and is almost perfect. I can see the location of my packages on a map, copy the tracking number, mark a package as delivered, and submit feedback easily in app for each shipment individually. Pretty good I thought, but not perfect… yet. The dev seems to be making improvements which is better than an app that turns into abandonware. For this reason I’ll submit my own thoughts on what I feel is missing that could make me love this app more than I once did Slice. What is missing is the ability to add your own tracking information when there are mishaps in shipping and new numbers issued. If and when an image for the item being shipped is not correct it would also be nice to be able to browse for and add the right or a better image. I would love to be able to add notes to shipments as well for future reference and flagging certain shipments as important or even being able to pin them to the top would be great. I appreciate the hard work you’ve already put into this app and wish you continuing success with it. Thanks for reading my input!

Route feels like a scam. Klassy Network uses Route for their tracking, and the tracking option for just online without using the app and connecting email doesn’t show anything, it just doesn’t load at all or comes up blank. I don’t want to sign up my email for privacy reasons, but Route won’t show you tracking info without it. I tried using a hidden email but typing in my regular email and it still wouldn’t show where my package was. Route has insurance so if the package was “lost” during shipping, you have to make an insurance claim to get reimbursed or have new items sent to you. You have the option to ship without this insurance, but I’m guessing stuff will go missing and you’ll have to buy new. I bought with the insurance and my stuff STILL went missing, like the package arrived at my house, but the way KN shipped the package, it could easily be opened and items could be slipped out by the hole not being taped shut. So of course I had to make a claim and new items sent to me. It all seems kind of suspicious on who benefits from a claim being made, products not being delivered (when there is no proof that KN actually put the items in the package or they meant to not seal it all the way). And why does Route want my email so bad, accessing my private info?

Useless. I ordered a package with delivery insurance through Route for an extra $1-2. They sent me an email with a “Route Order Number” but no tracking number. I downloaded Route once I realized there was no way to track the order without it. I didn’t want to give Route access to my entire email account so I opted to add the delivery manually. You can add an order by using a tracking number or allowing Route access to your email account but you can’t use the “Route Order Number”. I entered the “Route Order Number” in the tracking field and it was detected as a route order number and required a tracking number. Route is designed to be aware of what a Route number is but won’t let you access the order without handing over access to your email account. This app is predatory because it is unusable without giving up my privacy and security.

Very good app - Would like to see more options for manual entry. I’ve been using Route for about a week to track my packages after it was the only option to track the albums I ordered from the Stray Kids Shop. I can honestly say it’s one of the best package tracking apps I’ve used. With that being said, I have noticed that one of the orders I’ve made wasn’t automatically detected when I connected my email address, and I think this happened for several reasons. It was a pre-order, so there’s no tracking number I can manually enter, and I pre-ordered two of the same item at separate times, so it probably looks like a duplicate email about one singular order to the app. It picked up the second order, but I can’t find a way to add the first. I’d like to see another option for manually entering an order for tracking when it’s not automatically detected and there isn’t a tracking number associated with the order yet.

Bugs? Or just a bad app?. When I installed this app the first thing I noticed was half the content was cut off on the side of the screen so you couldn't read it. I was then forced to allow this strange app access to my Gmail account, then when I actually got into the app it detected my order but showed me no details at all about the progress of the order like a normal tracking website does so this app was useless. I went to my email to find a link to track a package and instead was asked to download this, initially I said no because downloading apps for everything is dumb but there was no actual tracking link so I gave in. I will be uninstalling this and removing it's permissions on my email account and from now on I will be avoiding any online store that uses a service like this.

Delivery not correct. I ordered a package on September 17, and I downloaded Route to track it, and I just got the notification that it’s on my doorstep, so I check it and nothing’s there. On the app, it says it shipped it to an elementary school about 5 minutes away from me. I went to the actual website that I purchased my package from where they have the tracking number, and it says that it just left the shipment place yesterday and is going to be on my doorstep in about 3 days. I’m not entirely sure how Route and the tracking number say 2 entirely different things, but I’m going with my instinct that the tracking number is correct. The app is nice, though, to see tangibly approximately where your package is, and they have luxury brands to scroll through, as well.

NO ONE WANTS TO BE FORCED TO DOWNLOAD AND LOG IN TO AN APP JUST TO TRACK THEIR PACKAGE. I never write reviews. But I had to here. Because no one should have to 1. download an app, and 2. create a login for a 3rd party tracking company (not even an actual carrier) just to know the location and status of an item that was purchased. I’m not going to name names, but to vendors working with this company, I sincerely hope you stop. Just give us the tracking number and the name of the company shipping. They all have a tracking website. Because I now have to either be forced into giving yet another company my email address and assigning a password (who knows if they sell to 3rd parties), or I can just wait for the package to arrive and hope for the best. Route, if you want to be more successful, maybe not forcing peoples hand is the way to go. Because now I actively DO NOT want to create an account.

Know your “roots”. Route is very helpful for tracking packages that I’m waiting for in the mail. I have a lot of orders from all over the place, I couldn’t do it myself. I like how it knows all of my orders without me having to do anything other than signing in once all the while I’ve been using it (like over a year already). Occasionally I get duplicate orders or errors, but it’s not Route’s fault. It mostly has to do with the place I ordered from inputting in the order twice or something on their end. Route’s customer service is great as well. I only needed to speak to someone once, and I got a timely and friendly response. I definitely recommend Route. It is so reliable and easy to read, it definitely simplifies my mail package delivery experience.

Nice idea. Poor execution.. TL/DR: Most of the time it’s easier and more convenient to just check order status on the site you ordered from and/or bookmark/leave the tracking tab open. I live in a rural area so I end up ordering a lot of packages and being rural, delivery dates are an estimate at best. The idea of Route is a good one. Centralize tracking data and make it more convenient to check a tracking status. Unfortunately the app is cluttered with a bunch of partner stuff with shopping or something? I can’t be bothered to mess with it. I really just want to see where my packages are. Most of the time, it says “waiting for tracking data” when the tracking data is readily available. Shipper tracking APIs are not rocket science so it’s unclear why it can’t seem to update in a timely manner. It also can’t seem to figure out when something has been delivered. I feel like I’m providing more data TO Route than it is retrieving from readily available sources. After a few years of tons of improvements except the main thing, I’m just sick of hoping they will ever fix it and I just deleted it.

Won’t open. Downloaded 3 times . Won’t open . Nothing works. Yes I have then latest phone.

Useless. Absolutely useless, wont even let me log in. You pay extra when purchasing things on line so this app will track the item and it doesn’t even work. 🤬

Inaccurate information, way behind FedEx. Had a parcel shipped with a company, links provided via Route app to track, along with FedEx tracking number. The FedEx tracker was showing multiple updates and arrival in destination country, 1 month later and Route just shows “in transit”, without any eta. This app seems useless and just has links to other websites to shop via, it’s cheap and poor marketing, AVOID

Rubbish. Doesn’t work (at least for Australia). Like some others would have mentioned before me, half the time it doesn’t register, the other half the parcel has arrived and it still shows “In transit” months later. Sounds great in theory but not great in practice.

Account required to track an order. I don't like apps which require me to create an account if it doesn't really needed. I ordered something in an online shop and received a link to track my order via this app. I have my order number. Why do I need an account? Uninstalling it now.

Great App to Track packages. I have found this app to be really good at tracking packages! I find that this app works best when you order anything from America or the company that you are ordering from is American! Otherwise it’s pretty good! If you link your Email that you use for all shipping almost all of your parcels should show up on the app! I find it great to keep track of all your parcels on the one screen rather than using different links and services to track packages! It might not work for everyone but it works for me so I can highly recommend giving it a try!

Doesn’t work.. Superfluous with Australia post tracking

Complicated.. App is far too complicated and needs a lot of input to get anything out of. Doesn’t track in Australia and far to much going on in the app. Simplicity would be an improvement. Not worth the money

Useless. This appears to be useless outside of the US.

Not easy to use. Downloaded app and can’t login with my gmail account. Not easy to figure out. Also I live in Australia and it appears to be only for North America???

Best. Thank you for everything that you are. God Bless your heart.

Love. Love this app - all purchased items in the one app for easy tracking

Won’t track package unless I link email address. The app won’t track package unless I link email address. Click on the link in my email, but it just keeps going in circles, opening the App Store page and asking me to open the app. I should be able to track parcels without giving you my email addresses. Why even have the option to Sign In with Apple if the app isn’t going to allow me to track parcels unless I link an email account. 👎🏻

Really inaccurate. The app doesn’t give updates for any of my orders after the initial dispatch. Tried to use it and give it a chance for a month now

Garbage. The app does not provide real-time updates, it is false advertising. Also they force you to create an account and probably do data mining on you.

Please Read. It is so, so obvious that 95% of your reviews bumping your score way up to 4.6/5 are fake or bought reviews. All of your recent reviews tell the truth about how your app DOES NOT WORK. The web version that was emailed doesn’t work. It’s a blank page with a map of nothing that you can’t interact with and a link to download the app. But your app doesn’t work either. It doesn’t tell you where your package is, or has been at all. My order said “in transit” for a week, and has said “ETA to be confirmed” for another week. There is literally nowhere stating where my package is or has ever been. To quote your FAQ, “ you can tap on orders to see the order details which will provide info around where your order is in transit.” This is blatantly a lie. When I ordered (and paid for extra for express shipping AND package protection) the estimated time was one business week. It has been 16 days, and there is no way for me to access any information on my package, since the only email I received from my supplier regarding shipment was through Route, so I only have Route’s shipping reference number, thus not being able to go through any other company’s tracking functions. Also, the tracking number in the emails you send is formatted in such a way that you cannot copy and paste. You have to manually type it out and keep switching tabs because you literally cannot copy and paste it. The page with your orders shows the company, and one item you ordered, but when there are multiple items you can’t see everything you ordered. It just picks a random one and shows that and not everything else. I’ve come to the conclusion that you are purposefully scamming people, and companies, with all your fake reviews that make you seem on the surface like a reputable company, when you are really just stealing people’s money. If I’m wrong, and you aren’t terrible purposely thieving people and are actually just awful programmers, great! But you shouldn’t release something that doesn’t work, buy/make thousands of clearly fake reviews to make yourselves seem legit, convince companies that you are great and they should work with you and give their customers no other shipping options, and then shamelessly take their money for “package protection” when your app and website perform LITERALLY NONE of its promises features. Do better.

Every order has the wrong adress. Every order I place has the wrong address and I end up having to reach out to the business owner and ask them to refund or change the delivery address if this happens to you once DELETE THE APP

Awful! Does not track to Australia!!. I ordered a Letterman Jacket from XPLR on Fanjoy and was told to download Route in order to track my package but every time I tried to look at the status of my order it kept saying that my order is still being processed. I contacted support and they told me that Route was continually have glitches which told you the incorrect status of your order!! This app has updated several times but this fault hasn’t been fixed!! So this is why I’m saying DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!!

I love it. Make me easier to track my parcel

Where is the tracking. Downloaded the app as prompted by the store I purchased from for tracking and yep no tracking 👎👎👎👎👎

Actually love this app. Was forced to download this app when I bought something once, but its really helpful and totally recommend for people who shop online, work smart.

Never up to date. So far I have had numerous parcels delivered without the app even indicating it has arrived. Why bother when the whole point is to give you an arrival message?

Hopeless. Purchased item from Australia to be sent locally. Now 10 days on still no delivery. Tried tracking in app and it just said no activity in the last 7 days. Shipping supposed to take 5-7 days and it’s been 10 days and I can’t even see where my parcel is! There’s no communication or information from Route whatsoever. All I want to know is where is my order!!!

Bad. Completely useless

ETA is always wrong. As the title suggest the ETA is always wrong

JR. Useless app. Parcel delivered and app says still awaiting tracking number. Australia Post a much better app.

Some how go access to my accounts via my email. Do not trust this. Useless, misleading and does nothing. Wish I read the reviews before getting it, costly lesson learnt

Terrible app; tracking issues, asks for unnecessary info. This app is not user friendly and, judging by other reviews, is particularly unreliable in Australia. The app constantly requests additional information in order to provide push notifications. Other courier services only notify when relevant and don’t require more than delivery location and one form of contact to notify.

The App doesn’t even track your orders properly it’s completely useless. I paid the fee and used Route this app did not correctly track the item I had ordered nor did it give me a delivery date. I was confused as to why my item was being shipped all around Australia and not coming straight to my shipping address but now I know it actually was in the process of coming to my address and it was just the untrustworthy App giving me false information on my order. I advise anyone to NOT use this app it will give you false information or your item/items and will not give you a delivery date!

Insurance claim does not work. I was sent a parcel via Route with postal insurance. 2 months later, the package is still sitting with the vendor apparently and there is no way for me to make a postal insurance claim through Route - it simply keeps saying that there is an error. Not happy with this service at all and a very far cry from the excellence of Australia Post.

Pathetic waste of time. App never updated past order placed. Whole time it showed the product was still with vendor, then suddenly the order shows up at my place…and this app STILL says order is with vendor in US. Don’t use this or pay for tracking service.

Useless. Vendor I purchased from checkout defaulted to use route so I paid the fee. Item didn’t arrive after 3 weeks , route just showed a scan for destination and no updates it doesn’t do any more then what you can check your self if you check with the actual courier. Anyway lodged a complaint saying item hasn’t arrived got a confirmation email and said would get an update or reply within 24 hours, 1 week later still no updates or reply and you can’t re issue the complaint because it just says it is pending. Now dealing direct with the vendor. Waste of time.

Can’t even open the app. Worst app. Can’t open the app without connecting a google account? And when I connect my google account can’t get past the connection step.

Trash. App is trash

Could not even get the app to work.. As title says, I tried creating a user with my outlook email which it seemed fine with but then it kept asking to connect to google and wouldn’t let me skip this step. What’s the point of giving people the option of how to sign up (email, gmail, Facebook etc.) and then making them use Gmail? Ridiculous.

Good 👍🏼. Quite good to track orders only it doesn’t show progress easily

Won’t honour shipping insurance. I paid extra for shipping insurance and they won’t honour it when item was lost in transit. Very unhelpful, very slow in responding to messages.

What a scam. So I’m waiting for my order to arrive. I keep clicking on track my order from my email, and all I get is a hard sell to download this app. Which I initially did. It’s wants access to all my personal details. No thanks. All I want is my tracking number please. Wouldn’t trust this app. It is intrusive

Useless. Doesn’t give any more info than USPS tracking, needs a gmail address or you have to fwd order details by email. Waste of time, wish they didn’t have my data...

GREAT!. Super easy to use, loved it!

Idk. This app makes tracking your orders really easy, would recommend

Beware😠. I wouldn’t waste your money paying this company to protect your items, because when something happens your left dangling!

App doesn’t track within Australia. The app seemed to work OK tracking my parcel from USA but once it got to Australia it didn’t provide any updates at all and just showed that it was processed in Australia (which is a big place). the parcel arrived at my door a week later and I paid a premium to get tracking and it didn’t work and I expected a better service to be honest.

Bad. Couldn’t figure out how to track my package and now I accidentally set the package to delivered when it’s not and now I can’t do anything with it because it thinks it’s delivered when it’s not, there should be an option to undo this action.

Pointless. This app is legitimately pointless and at no point during the shipping and delivering process does it give the user any information about their order or status.

App doesn’t work. Downloaded app and it won’t let me sign in with my Apple ID or gmail account! Keep getting network error or it just boots me back to the sign in page

Waste of time. Absolutely hopeless. Paid to track a package from Netherlands to Australia. Delivery took four weeks and I did not receive a single update. App wants permission to scan my email to capture any update emails (which I would see anyway). Then it wants to push recommendations to me. Does not do the one thing that it meant to do. Deleting it.

Worst app ever. Super glitchy, barely works. Is constantly crashing

No support for eBay or cash converters orders. Doesn’t support Australian online stores yet pike eBay au or cash converters

Forced to download an app for tracking. Download app, cannot track unless using the tracking number which is not supplied to me, or connect my email so you can automatically add…. Why should I have to do that??? I doubt that you aren’t stealing all my emails to use for targeting…

Useless. This is the least intuitive tracking app ever. Clicking on an order doesn’t bring up information on status. Only shows original shipping location and destination and nothing along the way. Just use the shipping services website. Tell who you buy from to quit using route as well.

Not good. It send for multiple days that my package was in a lake across the country. Even after it was delivered it was supposedly still in a lake

This is a scam!!!. This is the worst app I ever encountered. I had to enter my email multiple times, then asked for my Apple account and password. I still wasn't able to track my order. I will write to Apple regarding this app for it gives misleading information, and if you guys purchased from them and gave the wrong item go to your bank, then tell them what happened or tell them that you didn't buy it then you’ll get reimbursement!!!!

Doesn’t work. Tried to track my order and it crashed. Horrible app.

Trash - Shop is a billion times better. Title says it all. This app is completely useless. I purchase things online every single week. The ONLY app that has helped me so far and that I would HIGHLY recommend is SHOP.

Ease of tracking. The app makes it’s easier to track your items, but it’s not updated daily.

Canada Delivery. takes too long too update delivery status

This app sucks. Just straight up sucks -5 stars

Scam scam scam. Scammers

Do things. I got this app because it does things ... and things it does.

Order Status. Route was a constant reminder of my order not being shipped expeditiously.

Nah. Super unhelpful.

Weirdly wants to know information.. It asks to “view my email messages and settings”, and “see my personal info, including any personal info you’ve made publicly available”. I added my apple email, then it asked for my google email, i just thought it was a bit fishy.

Terrible. Ordered some products on line, the sender suggested I use this app to track. Complete fail! Product showed up and app still saying in transit. Lol. I ordered other products and they start by tracking and that’s its. Product has arrived and this still says in transit. No tacking numbers provide. A complete waste. Don’t download! Fail Fail Fail!

Asks for personal info. This app asks for your email password. Once it has that it can read all your private emails and send emails on your behalf. NEVER GIVE ANY APP YOUR PASSWORDS. I have no idea how this passed Apples guidelines. Stay away.

Very helpful!. Always updating details, automatically puts my online orders on here I love it

Terrible. This app is useless. It doesn’t track anything. My package has been showing it is in the middle of a lake in northern Saskatchewan for like 3 days. If you are going to have an app like this at least make it more accurate.

Don’t purchase this!!. Had packages show up with missing items and they’re response was we don’t cover that you need to talk to the company that sent it. What was the point of paying for this useless protection if it does nothing. What a joke.

Route. Great app to track your order, some items aren’t updated as well as other businesses so that’s the down fall of ordering online. Other than that major brands such as gymshark, sbd, or local brands in your city shouldn’t be too much of a problem to track. Ordering off Etsy or seeing an ad for discounted items are the ones to watch out for.

Absolute scam. Require you to connect email account with access to emails in order to track your order. When you try to delete your account they make you submit a request, then say you’ll receive an email in 7 days. Extremely upset. Guess I won’t know where my glasses order is. So disappointed. Absolutely trash

Asks for access to all your email messages. Are you kidding me?? Why would a tracking company need access to all your email messages? Reporting to apple.

Very shady, please don’t use.. I connected with my apple account using “hide e-mail” option. It couldn’t track any order. I add my apple e-mail as secondary e-mail and it asked me to connect on the apple site or in the app. To connect in the app I need to give them my apple password, literally. Very shady, made me feel like our e-mail information is what their business is really about. Protect your data from predatory business like this one. They give you a tracking code and you can’t use it to track your package. Feeling very unsafe about my order and I’m writing to the company that uses this service.

Garbage!. This app is suppose to offer you insurance for when your package does not arrive and track its progress. It does NEITHER of these things! I did not get any updates other than my package had shipped, and when it never arrived and I made a claim, conveniently it had been too long for them to help me. I am not only out the package that never arrived I am out the $1 I paid for this garbage service! Do NOT use this app as it is a scam!

Don’t bother. Not sure why I need to provide an email address and create an account to simply track a package. Deleted!

Total scam. For all those honest people out there. Please respect yourself and don’t use this service. Route is a complete scam. I will agree with all negative reviews. I ordered perfume for my wife. Route service came as a choice of “insurance” for secure delivery. Guess what? No order delivered. Completely wrong tracking number for other person credentials. When I opened a case no answer what’s so ever. Only no reply emails. Not a single gesture to help you. I have reported them. Please do not use their service. Uncheck that secure delivery options. They just split your money with the retailers and that’s it. Asking you for your email access too. SCAM. If you deal with them you are on your own. You willingly let them take your money away. For route people do not even reply here. Your business is a scam. You lose item numbers do not have tracking info and so on and on. We paid you our money. Provide service or stay behind the bars for abusing.

Pointless. It’s annoying that some companies I’ve purchased from use this app because it’s useless. Never has any actual updates or accurately says where anything is.

Don’t use it. It can work sometime but the times I’ve used this app it never worked. It would always never show any updates. It’s just not a good app to use.

Useless. App does not show location of UPS driver and requests read access to my entire email account. No thank you. Deleted.

Bon service. Merci. Bon service. Merci

annoying. this app is literally so annoying it alone will discourage me from ever shopping at the store that made me use it again. i haven’t had a tracking update in almost a week but they always email me pointlessly. it’s literally just not user friendly and it’s more work than simply getting a tracking number from canada post. ugh.

Not useful. The app design is super pretty and would be amazing if it actually served a purpose. Packages don’t update, no ETA, it’s always days late. The concept is great but isn’t functional.

Don’t waste your time!. This app is garbage. Not even close to being user friendly. It had me enter my email address in at least 6 times before actually getting to the tracking page and will not let you track anything unless it has access to ALL YOUR EMAILS AND MESSAGES.

Useless. This app has been completely useless. I’m upset with the company for even suggesting using this service.

It catches ALL your orders from every stores based on your email. I’m concerned about the privacy while using this app. I didn’t even connect my Amazon account and it still shows me all orders and also send me tons of notifications. Same thing with my other apps I order every day from (I’m in Dubai and here every groceries and stores have app and we order everything online everyday). It’s soooo annoying. As soon as I receive my order from that US store that made me download this app, it’s going to be deleted from my phone.

Good. Good

Asking too much personal information. Asks too much personal information and access to google account and recurring many fishy email since signing up.

Horrible. Doesn’t work unless you give it full permission to read all of your email. Uninstalled immediately.

Very very useful. In the first time the app scary me (spam) but is very useful for tracking you order!!! I recommend it!!

Such a waste of time. Too complicated Too intrusive Such a waste of time and still couldn’t see anything… 0/100

Garbage and scam, don’t waste time. Garbage and scam, don’t waste time

Weird. Whoever made this app is a piece of dog****, Your app speaks with such punchable dialogue so I know that’s your personality. Get out of my info and worry about the tracking number only clown, go up sell to a blade of grass

I don’t even know where to start. No info to know what items you are tracking unless you are prepared to add them in yourself. You can’t tell much about your orders on the main list - they all have the same title 😑. When you open one, it moves down the list so now you don’t know which one you just opened. Interface doesn’t even allow sorting by date. Just watch your emails for tracking updates - it’s easier and current. Was this app even tested for usability?

it’s good for those non amazon orders. this was a choice for me but i’d rather not put my amazon email and pass to track them but otherwise it’s good for a bit it didn’t know my actual location and would put me somewhere in a America (I’m in Canada) but they’ve fixed it

Zero updates. I paid for route services and had zero service. The tracking was wrong, it couldnt give me more information. When i was trying to tell inform them that my package was lost (what there are suppose to protect us) the only option available was refunding on paypal and not on my credit card. So if you dont use paypal… you are screwed. Lost 40$ on em for nothing.

Useless. I placed 2 orders with a vendor that used this service, and none of them were being tracked successfully. The first order was never updated and the second one showed an “invalid” tracking error. The apps of the couriers doing the deliveries were more reliable than this app. This app was a waste of time.

Appli Route. Bonjour Juste que c’est seulement en anglais alors beaucoup de misère à comprendre . C’est le seul inconvénient , je ne suis pas bilingue Bonne journée !!

Asked for access to all of my emails on sign up. This is an incredible privacy overreach by a company I’ve never heard of. Just give me a tracking number I can enter like every other shipping company uses.

ETA issue. Not providing ETA is a turn off

Too much info required. Needs to be fully connected to my gmail account to track a package. Why not just use a tracking number?

Option to REMOVE AMAZON. I don’t want to track Amazon packages with Route. Amazon does a fine enough job, but there’s no option to REMOVE Amazon from my app. Every order I get a notification and it puts it into my orders and says “sign in to track Amazon packages.” And I have to manually delete each one. That’s bad enough, it I also went and added every single Amazon order I’ve ever made into the orders tab because I guess scanning my emails, so I would have to manually delete 100s of Amazon orders. At the very least add an option to delete batches of orders instead of having to do it 1 by 1.

Horrible. After being asked to update this review in case I was using it wrong, I will clarify even after Route was given the login/password to the email account where the shipping information was sent, this app did not correctly display any of my incoming deliveries. It showed several delivered packages, but none of those currently shipping. This app is nowhere near as good as what I would expect from the high number of high ratings. “Linking” accounts means literally giving them your email address and passwords. When I tried the limited permissions recommended by Apple, it isn’t enough to work. I have eight packages it should have been able to retrieve according to the App Store description, but the only two it accurately displayed were the ones I entered manually. This app is not just useless, but unnecessarily invasive.

New Download. So I just made 2 purchases that showed this app for tracking the items I purchased. I use “Shop” for tracking but decided to download since my merchant had this app listed. I know it’s a new app but it doesn’t have bugs worked out. Each time I hit track with this app within my email that showed it as an option, it takes me right back to the App Store where it already shows downloaded so I open and I get a colorful screen on the app that says track & manage and it’s line stuck in cyberspace doing nothing and gives you no options to do anything. I’ll delete and reinstall, but if it’s still frozen, I’ll stick to tracking in the “Shop” app. Go Try...the app sounded like a one stop shop to manage delivery issues to track merchandise.

Unnecessary and Annoying. This app is entirely pointless. I ordered something and was given a route number. I am already annoyed that I have to download a whole new app just for this one order. Then, I try just signing in with Apple, and I am still not able to add the route number. Apparently there is a different tracking number that is needed - one that I don’t have. I am then required to connect my email. I connected to my email, and then wanted to disconnect after I got the number for my package, and upon disconnecting found that the package number it gave me didn’t even work without having the email connected. This app is sketchy! Why on earth would I want to give an app access to read all my emails just so that I can get the delivery date for one package?

Very handy with one tiny fixable flaw!. Like all the other five star reviewers, I’ve found this app to be very helpful in organizing my multiple online orders. The only thing is, when I get a notification after I place an order online, it ends with a pair of judgy eyes 👀 that honestly I don’t need in 2021. I like ordering online not because I’m addicted to spending money willy nilly but because it’s still a pandemic, I don’t need additional exposure to COVID, and I certainly don’t need any judgment from an app. May I suggest a basic thumbs up 👍, a high five 🙌, or even the understated, yet intriguing, brown box 📦.

None sense of app. The idea of the app is great but it should be easy to use and simple which is not at all, i used it to track the package that was supposed to be a 2 day shipment, the app doesn’t show the location of the package or when it will be deliver which it is supposed to be the main reason of its existence. The biggest turn off it’s the app ask to connect to the a google account which it shouldn’t be obligatory. I don’t know who had that idea but needs to be fired, the app is completely unknown for most people, and the first impression it’s this app is very intrusive and unsafe, this is not what user have to feel to use your app, i know the idea it’s to connect different networks but it’s the user choice if they want this or not

Forced to use by seller. Made a recent purchase that forced me to use this app…36 hours later i know nothing new about my order. No ETA on delivery or any tracking number to track myself. Route is great at giving me ads for junk I don’t want. I’m about to cancel the order because I believe I may have been scammed and this Route app may be a delay tactic. Update: while information was delayed early in the process i did get the items i ordered and a tracking number was provided 3 days after ordering so i could track when it would be delivered. I revised my star score. An improvement for Route would be to direct link the tracking number instead of just copying to clipboard.

First package lost in transit, second replacement shipped to wrong address. Ordered a package that was sent through Route. For two weeks, it was marked as “ready to ship” with no further updates. When I reached out asking where it was, the answer was simply that it must be lost. I reported it as lost and a replacement was shipped. However, the shipping label on the replacement was incorrect and missing the apartment number and was delivered to the wrong address. There is so easy way to contact support for Route, or to edit shipping information. Replacements keep being sent to the incorrect address different from the address I submitted to the sender because Route keeps dropping the apartment number from the full address. Had to contact UPS and USPS to finally find out information on the package. Unacceptable.

Pretty good. Good app and the value of the protection they offer vs the cost seems worthwhile. My only issue is that when putting in a claim there is a mandatory waiting period of several days — I guess to see if your package ends up arriving after all. This is a real inconvenience as when you don’t receive your order you’re already running behind. Now you’re forced to wait even longer just to see if a miracle happens, then wait for the claim to process and only THEN can the seller reship your item (which you subsequently need to wait for, again).

Not worth the trouble. I get emails from the merchant and from the carrier, which creates multiple entries in the app. To remove the duplicate entries, I can mark one as delivered — but this means I still have to sift through emails to figure out which tracking number goes with which order. (Sometimes the carrier email comes before the merchant’s, so in the app, the merchant entry has a different shipping status than the carrier entry.) Route’s web site has minimal guidance, and contacting customer service via chat leads to a dead end. “Still need help?” Yes, so I click on “contact support - customer.” Then nothing. If it’s after working hours, maybe say that? I’m going back to tracking orders in my bullet journal.

Not for the average buyer. I can see the benefit of this app for a company or an individual that purchases a lot to consolidate all tracking information into one app. However, all I bought was a hat and having to download an app just to get tracking is excessive and unnecessary. Not only that but, it never even gave me tracking or an ETA. I have no idea where my package is and I know that if I were to express this to Route they’d say, “you have to deal with the shipper or shipping company” which, again, would make it that much more frustrating because it adds another (unnecessary) person to the mix. Too many cooks in the kitchen, if you will. The last thing that irked me was that I didn’t even want to download this; I had to. The place I bought my item from should’ve just given me the tracking and not added this into the mix.

Orders With Tracking Numbers Not Being Added Automatically. So I just downloaded this app 3 days ago after using Shop (which is amazing!) and I have come to realize that many orders are not being automatically added/synced. I have my email signed up with Route. It becomes a bit of a headache that I’m catching myself having to manually add tracking numbers to the app in order to track my orders. I still have Shop and it’s 2 steps ahead of Route in regards to updating locations throughout the tracking process from initial order to delivery. I would give it 5 stars cause everything else is nice, but it can be better. For that I only give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Privacy Invading. Online merchant used Route to send shipping confirmation. The email from the vendor had many buttons to download the app but only one link (almost deliberately difficult to notice) to a browser-based interface that would allegedly allow package tracking without downloading the app. Unfortunately that link does not actually work and it is impossible to use without downloading their app. The app itself has a fine interface but attempts to gain access to all emails in your inbox. This is supposedly to allow automatic package tracking in the app but realistically that level of access provides so much more information than that. Basically it seems this is a data collection tool disguised as a package tracker. I would strongly discourage use of this app.

Not Worth It. This makes tracking so much more difficult then it normally is. I had to download the app just to track my package from a certain company since they partnered with route and now i’m honestly considering not shopping with that company just because of the tracking now, it’s so dumb. There is no reason i should have to download an app, sign up, and take up space on my phone just to track my package. Plus the app’s layout is so bad, it’s confusing and they have popups that get in the way of stuff. It’s very glitchy. It’s a good idea and concept but they should NOT be partnering with brands and making that the ONLY way to track a package. I just want to be able to search up the tracking number myself.

Was super helpful until it deleted everything.. Everything was working fine, I didn’t feel comfortable giving my email so I just plugged everything in myself and that worked great for a few weeks. Just opened the app and it acted like it was my first time opening it. Assuming it was an update I just ignored the request for my non existent gmail address and navigated to order history. Everything was deleted, including some orders that will not be fully shipped for weeks. Now I have to go through a bunch of old emails to get everything in one place again. Will be looking into other tracking options because it’s not worth the effort to have to do this again, especially since this doesn’t seem to be caused by an update since it was working fine yesterday and the last update was 5 days ago.

Major Privacy Issue. It sounds great until you learn that you are giving this company the ability to read your emails and texts. They also see every item you purchase. Some people don’t care about that. For those people, this may be the app for you, I don’t feel comfortable with that. What is worse is when you (try to) read the privacy policy. The privacy policy requires you to press another link to see how they handle your purchase and email info where you then are taken to a “Page Not Found” message. Even if they don’t share your information with others (it actually does say they can share with partners in order to fulfill any agreements they make), I still don’t feel comfortable with them having all this info. Sorry. Not for me.

Avid shopper. As an avid shopper this app has literally changed my life. Some online stores are on top of it when it comes to notifying you on the status of your order but Route makes up for the other ones that are awful. I cannot count the amount of hours I’ve spent on hold or with customer service just to get updates on my packages! Super user friendly and makes my life so much easier. Being able to go on this app and see every purchase I‘ve made and checking on the status of it regardless of the site is a game changer!!

What???. Like others, I have no interest in downloading a third-party app to track my package. But since that was the only way to track, I did it. The very first screen gives you an option to login if you already have an account or to choose “Next.” Since I don’t have an account and have no interest in having an account, I hit “Next.” That simply took me to a screen with no options anywhere to do anything. It just continues to play some graphic sequence but nowhere is there an option to track or do anything. Guess I will email the customer service team at the company I purchased from and they will have to pay someone to deal with my inquiry. Would have been much easier for everyone if they just simply gave me a tracking number and told me who it was shipped with instead of this app that doesn’t even work…

Not impressed so far. I chose this one because of tens of thousands of reviews including recent rave reviews. I’m not impressed so far. I won’t connect my email and would rather not have signed up for this at ALL. It’s a weird interface that allows you to manually add a tracking number and a merchant but not what the package is. When you review your current packages, it does not show the tracking number or carrier! It has a new number “route ID” WHY? In general you no longer need an app because you will get many emails about your order status anyway. But during the holidays I find it helpful to track many shipments to various addresses which is why I tried this.

The dog eats packages. Which is why I wanted an app that would let me track my packages. Which this doesn’t do. I felt that I would be able to actually see the route my package was on and maybe get some idea about when to expect it so I could get it off the porch before the dog ate it. Every package that was delivered to me was marked as “still in transit” and if the little green bar was anything to go by, the packages weren’t even close to delivery. I waited three days on a package I had received to see if it would ever be marked as delivered. Nope. Still in transit. The only thing this app did was tell me I had ordered things and packages were on the way. Pointless. I put a cabinet outside my garage with a sign that says “place package here”. Solved my problem.

Better than my spam inbox. I know I stink at checking my Gmail and setting up my filters. That being the case, Route is amazing because it takes no effort to set up, check, or organize. I can see the delivery status all of my purchases in one place — without having to go one-by-one through my spam, promotional content, and main Gmail inbox. Because of Route, I’m able to plan my day so that I can get home or ask a neighbor to pick up my package from before a porch pirate snatches it. 10/10 would recommend.

App is functional and OK. I have been using another app for a couple years and saw this one, the reviews and description were impressive. The UI is easy to understand and looks better than other apps. My only real complaint is that I am unable to add a package description. The app has “future capabilities” of wanting to link to popular sites and pull order information, but in the meantime offers no alternative. Having all my packages in a list is great, having to look at 5 non descriptive EBay packages, 3 Mercari, and 1 UPS packages is not helpful. Let me add a single line description of what the package is the package.

Convenience at a cost. Route backed down from their previous stance of only working if it has access to read all your emails, but the app is still very pushy to get permission to read your emails. That permission is mighty powerful and could be used for all kinds of bad if it gets loose. Even if you trust their app only to gather the data they say they do, there is an increased chance that your email password could get leaked to a third party. That’s not to mention the extra pressure they place on vendors to add Route’s package protection at checkout and block you from tracking your package directly with the carrier. Unless you buy a lot and have a dedicated email address for your shopping, this app/service is unnecessary.

Asks for too much. Just to be able to track my package I have to set up an account, connect my email (despite confirming your email is real, you still need to “connect” your email). If you don’t want to connect your email, you have to have your senders account name and tracking number. If you type in your senders name and a bunch of options come up, you can’t tell which is the specific one you need. I get the usefulness of this app if you’re ordering from a bunch of places at once and can’t keep track of emails but why can’t I just store tracking numbers by entering them? Why is all of this data collection necessary? I got frustrated because I just needed to see one shipment then realized I could plug it into the carriers website.

Redundant. This app is redundant, and the number times I have to reconnect my email is ridiculous. One email would not connect. Asked for help, and Customer Service, was very humorously condescending. I’m thinking they pay for five star ratings. I order and send quite a few items. I use the FedEx app and Shop. Oh, and I have an email address and phone number, both of which can do everything this app can do. Also those apps do not have weird connection issues. Not once have I had to reconnect my email to the aforementioned apps. This particular app is really not needed and serves to keep you on your phone longer. 2 stars because sometimes it does what it says. All that said, the app was free, and you get what you pay for. If you need another headache, this is the app for you.

The Worst App I’ve Ever Used. Everytime I’ve ever had an item arrive damaged it’s been the worst experience trying to talk to someone or get any response at all from route. I just had yet another item arrive damaged and after filing a claim and waiting two weeks for them to respond or update the claim status they just close the case and say it’s due to lack of information on my part because I didn’t respond to their non existent request for more information. I sent them multiple pictures of the damaged item I’m not even sure what more information I could even give them. Each time the seller ends up having to send me a replacement outside of route because they can’t seem to figure out why it won’t work either. It honestly feels like a scam.

Nice concept, poor execution. I do like the idea of a central location for all of my orders in one place, except it doesn’t do any of the things it’s supposed to do particularly well. Especially if you opt to not let them have full access to your email account. Worried about giving any developer/startup/app that kind of power, I tried to put in tracking numbers manually... except you can’t paste them in??!! You have to actually type them in—and they are absurdly long. Then when you finally get one in, it just says “Not yet shipped” for everything... even when you know they have shipped. So you either surrender all of your privacy, or you put in a great deal of effort to do all the things the app was supposed to solve... only to have it not work. Nope. Deleted.

Doesn’t Seem To Do What It’s Supposed To. I guess I’m not really seeing the allure of this app. I downloaded it as a part of a birthday gift order I did a couple weeks ago. Granted, the shipping was USPS so the tracking is at the mercy of that system. However, the app never updated the package. After 2.5 weeks of waiting, the app said the package was delivered. After talking on the phone with the company, turns out that wasn’t true. A pretty cool feature is that it will scan your email for orders and track them. However, that information isn’t correct either. My app routinely said “No delivery date” even though my FedEx tracking gave me a date. I think the idea and the UI is excellent. The execution could use some work. I’m hoping to turn around and change this to a higher review after some time to work out the bugs.

Gmail Only. Despite giving you the option of signing in using your Apple ID, the app will not function unless you are using a Google account. I don’t use Google. What is particularly irritating is that I signed up for Route thru GEM to track my monthly vitamin shipment. Both companies are about to lose a customer. Update: Received response stating that there are alternatives to using a Gmail account, which is false because the app doesn’t function at all unless you sign in with a Gmail account. Additionally, Route reiterated that they can only automatically track my shipments by accessing a gmail inbox. Thanks for confirming that I have been paying $.98 per monthly GEM vitamin shipment for Route delivery insurance on a package that you are not even tracking because I. Don’t. Have. A. Gmail. Account. Sounds like fraud.

I didn’t want this app. After literal years of packages telling me to download Route to track it, and my naïveté’s refusal, I eventually couldn’t track my package that wasn’t being updated and downloaded Route. Well, I’ll be damned, it’s actually pretty handy and tracks all orders from different sources (even without the seller using Route) and updated the statuses faster than I was seeing the email(s). I do not like downloading extraneous apps and ignored this one; In my humility I admit defeat, This app might really be helpful to some

I Love It!. This is an amazing app! I’ve tried others, but this is by far the BEST! I only keep apps that I know I will keep and really use repeatedly; Route is a keeper. Very user friendly, simplified way to input tracking numbers, search for things I want to purchase, and archive received packages. The only thing that would be helpful is when you input the sender/vendor, information about the vendor would populate…that is not a major issue, and there could definitely be a cause for it, ie Walmart vs an largely unknown vendor. Overall, the app receives 100 stars from me. Thank you, Route!!

About time!. It’s about time someone figured out how to make our lives so much easier. I love not having to fumble through emails trying to remember when and what I’ve purchased online, get the tracking number to find out where it is and when it will be delivered. Route solves all of that! And killer visual display with helpful notifications so I can go to one place to see if my purchases...even the ones I haven’t used the Route insurance on. Where have you been all my life?? Haven’t had to make a claim yet but incredibly happy with the app so far!

Deleting as soon as my package arrives. Annoying that my package is being sent through usps with a tracking number but since it shipped with route I had to download this app that’s been saying my package will arrive today for 3 days now. What’s even more annoying is if you just try to track it through usps it forces you to download this app since it’s what the retailer now used even though it’s being shipped usps. If I had an option to download this and consolidate my tracking info which I have no desire to do that would be one thing. But being forced to download an app to track my package that already has a tracking number I could follow through usps ( that’s way more accurate on updates) if it wasn’t for this company now making that info proprietary. Total garbage

Information is incorrect. I originally downloaded Route because a certain website wouldn’t allow any tracking number unless you download this app. Then I became intrigued, so I submitted my other packages so I could literally see where they’re at. This app has shown that my package has been in the same place for the past three days. Yet when I go onto the actual delivery service website, it shows that my package is close to my house. I also have another package that I submitted to be tracked through Route and it’s still “waiting for info.” (It’s been three days too) The app isn’t updating with the true information, and it’s quite annoying. I’d stick with your normal usps, ups or fedex online trackers.

Just bad.. Have a Google account and a Facebook account on top of your regular email address if you want to use all the features. Yes, when you’re signed in, you sign in another way as well. Orders didn’t refresh in a timely manner, one of my two orders actually reverted to “getting info” (which both were saying for two days when the packages were already in transit as the sender told me). What’s worse is how stupid humanity seems to be. I’m in the back of a 5-unit multiplex, where the front doors are clearly labeled 1-3. But rarely does my mail get to my door. So now, without having been updated about the delivery, one of my packages is missing, while the other is supposedly in transit. I despise this deeply, as this order is very important to me and is the start of a new fun hobby. But now I’m without what I bought, which was left under numbers that look nothing like 4, and now I don’t know where this is. This just sears my nerves when I was so excited for my order. I truly hate this app. This was not a good first impression, and I think you’re better off just pasting the tracking number on the usps/ups/fedex sites and getting updates from there.

What’s the point of this app?. I’ve ordered parts for my truck, the company that sold the parts sends me a link to this app….get the app, know where your parts are the whole time they’re in transit. Cool, I’d like to know when they’ll actually get here. Wrong!!! The app is 100% worthless. I downloaded it last week, and it was hosed up. I ordered more parts this week, got another tracking number…checked the email, clicked on the link….the app needs to be updated….FINE…I update it….and it’s still hosed up. I think I’m better off not worrying about where my parts are and avoiding the unrelenting desire to throw my device thru the wall from trying to find out where my package is. THIS APP IS WORTHLESS. I’ve wasted 30 minutes of my life that I won’t get back due to this app.

Bullstrap. Great and stellar customer service ! The only thing is, the equipment ordered the wrong one I wanted, I thought I had chosen in fact, I know I ordered what I wanted but, when I saw the email with a pic on it, I noticed it accepted the wrong one.. I tried messaging back, but to no avail to this moment... and I ordered it very early this a.m. they informed me that it had already been given a tracking number and there was nothing I could do...messaging kept cutting me off , then had to wait for someone to chat with and report what happened...other than that, they were extremely nice and efficient...

Refund policy and Customer support is Scary bad. I’ve ordered on the 25th of June and it’s the 12th of July, since my package has been stolen I’ve had purchased the protection plan that route can’t seem to promise. I’ve been so frustrated and exhausted trying to get any support and help for my issue. I was assigned to Madeline M. which hasn’t helped me in anyway, horrible services and I really hope they start caring about there customers, cause you already lost one! Such a pain to get a simple refund and putting all my time to trying to get a refund. Disgusting customer support. And they might as well delete this review, just how they deleted my order that I was trying to get a refund from off the app to hide it! Please read this and take into consideration which they most likely won’t!

Nice app but needs more work. Works reasonably well, but needs a few things. Mainly it needs a field where a user can make notes. I send and receive just a few packages a week. But one that said “delivered” stumped me until I matched tracking numbers and determined it was a package that I sent. I had no way to edit it once I figured it out. Also all fields should be editable. It sometimes mixed up tracking number and order number. Also no way to send direct input to developer that I could find. Clicking on the developer web site in the App Store just opens the app. So no way I can find to directly contact developers so I wrote this review.

simple but effective. Been using this app for over a year now and it works great. I like how you can see packages on a map and all the stops they’ve taken. I couldn’t connect two emails at once when I first set it up so I’ve just been inputting new packages manually, which is a bit inconvenient. Otherwise its efficient and comes in clutch during the holiday season. I do wish that you could add nicknames or notes to packages because when they arent uploaded from an email with images etc. its very hard to tell which is which. Like, I know one of three usps packages is still in chicago but its not immediately obvious which one.

Great package tracking app. Route syncs with your Email to AUTOMATICALLY capture orders and tracking details—no manual entry, unless you want to add something manually. It displays store, picture of the item and date ordered. When the item ships, the entry is automatically updated and as status changes, tracking updates automatically. Two things: all orders—no matter their status—appear in one list. The list needs to be differentiated into orders, shipped, delivered so you don’t have to go through one long list to find an item. #2: Discovery: this function belongs in a different app. The function allows you to search, but I want an app for package tracking.

Meh.. App has potential but could be a lot better. If you get a package with protection from them it works flawlessly. But for every other package there is no way to update the tracking number and it gives you multiple “shipments” per each order as it sees the emails - creates an order when you place one, another when you are notified of anything else, so most of my orders end up with 2-3 “shipments” despite there only being one. No way to visually refresh, no button no pull down refresh. No way to update ANY information on a shipment all you can do is manually add an order which is really frustrating. Only options are to mark as delivered or delete. App definitely has potential but falls short on a lot of basic stuff.

App is poorly built and feels incomplete. I just downloaded this app today and it just feels like it needs a lot of attention and serious polish. When first opening the app it shows a black screen, I’m surprised apple allowed that though their app review. Other things that were annoying are on the sign up page, I wanted to use a password manager to set my password but the field is incorrectly marked so it made that difficult, come on this is a really simple one to do right. Other things that frustrated me were the location process is just weird. Why is it defaulting me to Utah? Also the location update doesn’t work, first I tried allow once to just add my location, that didn’t work so I tried allow while using and that didn’t work either, can you at least add in an empty state for the failure? I think this app really needs to go back to the drawing board and have a lot of these minor things looked through and reevaluated. These are the kind of things that make or break an app. So disappointing…

Tracking Was Fine Before. I don’t understand why we need an app for tracking packages when the technology to track them existed before. Give me my tracking number and let me be on my way. Like other reviews have stated, the email from Route after your package has shipped gives an option to see your package’s status online instead of making an account. Naturally, that suggestion leads to a broken page, forcing you to download their creepy app anyway. Additionally, even if you do sign up for their service, you will not be able to successfully track your package UNLESS you give Route read-only access to YOUR ENTIRE EMAIL. I don’t want to be giving all of my personal information and daily interactions away. What an insanely violating ask for a service that has already existed for decades.

It’s awesome!!. Omgosh! I would definitely recommend this app. I do a lot of ordering online and a couple of my packages have said they was delivered. But I never received them. But now I can track them and make sure I am their to receive them. So this way they can not say anything about myself being mis told or lead to believe or just confused. So yes get this app. If this has happened to you. It’s amazing you have several different settings to alert you about were and when it you be to you and you can track it on a map. So cool..

Seriously awesome. I downloaded this because I bought something from a company that didn’t email a tracking number but updated this app (irritating). I then ordered stuff from like three other sites and it just added it to the list and started tracking them. It does it in under a minute of you ordering. Ever order something and forget about it until it showed up? The app doesn’t forget and gives you updates when stuff changes. I hate most apps but this one is a winner!

Disappointed. The app overall is good. Pretty cool to be able to track exactly where my package is. However, there must have been a glitch yesterday. I’m still super bummed. I was waiting on a large package that I was trying to hide from my husband because it was his big Christmas gift. The app had said my package was going to arrive today, so I prepared to grabbed it as soon as it came and hide it. Well, turns out the tracking location was wrong and it was delivered yesterday! He saw the package and now he knows what he’s getting. So upset. My app still had said it wasn’t delivered and was still in transit. This app is great for people who don’t mind when their package is coming, but if you are surprising someone, I wouldn’t count on this app. Sorry

I don’t like the premise but let’s see.. Last time I asked the shipper to refund the $10 because I wasn’t giving the app the access it wanted. I don’t understand the need for some of it and still don’t want to give it. Shouldn’t my package be secured by FedEx themselves? Why do they require an outside insurer? Is it because they are so bad? That delivery was a nightmare even though the shipper had it out really fast. It was due early, but it’s FedEx so luckily it came at all. Still 2 days after they themselves updated it to earlier, and brought by the supervising driver at 6pm on a Sunday. Original driver left it on truck on Saturday, delivered other packages here and marked that one missed attempt (dummy). I’m reluctantly doing this because this is my chosen seller. Unfortunately, they’ve chosen FedEx as their preferred method. Can’t win ‘em all.

Great app + suggestion to developer. I really like the app! In the beginning, I didn’t realize you provided the reference number at the end of the email (possibly moving the “Your Route ID” section to middle or visible if marketing allows or redesigning it). I guess people in these reviews seem pretty annoyed at having been forced to do a few extra “taps” to get the insured details and items. Whatever it is, just let people get faster to your main UI because it’s REALLY GOOD. I actually love tracking the items. Also, the passive aggressive alert caught me off guard lol, didn’t get the point of “Real Talk”.

Possible Identify theft. So I downloaded this app to check tracking on an online order I made from a reputable website and immediately after I had my email sending me notifications that someone from Iraq twice and London once all within a 4 hour period tried to log into my email account, I myself live in the United States soo major red flag. Legitimately right after I verified my account on this app to use it to track my order. I didn’t use my email to sign up anywhere else or for any other reason recently so it’s either someone got my email and waited until I conveniently downloaded and verified for this app or this app is the culprit. Either way I cannot prove it this app was the reason or not but I’m definitely uninstalling and will not recommend you or anyone else to use this app just in case.

Honestly Useless. I’ve had this app for about 8-9 months and it’s honestly useless. It worked for maybe the first two months of me getting packages and updating the location of my package and marking it as delivered but for the past few months, it literally has told me less information than I would find had I just used my tracking number in my carrier system, rendering this app a waste of space on my phone. I often have to let the app know that my package was delivered and when I go to do so, the app says that the package is still shipping. The only thing the app is good for is checking your email to see that you’ve purchased an item, which is obvious to the buyer. I’m honestly considering deleting it because it really is useless.
