Love the App. Hello to all. I was raised to with religion and as an adult am spiritual but lost some faith in my own church. With My mom being terminally ill, some health issues from family members and my own, COVID and other family issues I had been feeling really down and needed some comfort. I I started praying and reading some scriptures online but was lost in trying to read scriptures with all the problems mentioned above. I was guided to look at some online apps that were audible and I started with the Holy Bible that then lead me to this app. I have to say it’s been wonderful. I love the different areas that are discussed by the pastor and how the Bible itself is broken down. I turn app on in the morning and I listen to the word, I take it on walks and before I go to bed I listen to. I love that each section isn’t to long (easier to understand) and that I can listen to multiple at one sitting. I love the the preaching the pastor does and his sense of humor. It’s made me reconnect to God and I needed this. I haven’t had any problems with this app and would highly recommend it.

Understanding GOD is User Friendly. I used to sometimes listen to a Christian station on my way to work in the morning, and I loved when I caught the segment titled “Through The Word”. They would read scriptures, then dissect them into their true meaning, and many times I would say ooh, that’s what that scripture is talking about! Words can’t explain the joy I felt when I found the Through The Word app. This app makes understanding God and the Bible user-friendly. You select a study plan, they give you a synopsis of the scripture that will be studied, then the scripture is read to you audibly and you can follow along as it’s read to you. Personally it makes comprehending the Bible a lot easier as scriptures are audibly read to you as you follow along and then the Scriptures are explained revealing the relevance of the biblical times that the story was written & told how to apply to every day life.

Unique way to study the Bible. I look forward to listening to a chapter of the Bible each morning. I love the voice of the man who reads the version of the Bible, that I listen to. He is very professional, and very good. However, I don’t think it’s really appropriate to have little children on, some of the sessions. To me, at least it’s rather annoying. I like children, but I don’t feel I like them in a position of being in my Bible studies. But all in all, this is a very good way to dive in and learn more about the Bible and it will tend to get you to reading other materials and learning more for yourself. Because this app does not give you all the answers or maybe any of the answers. But it helps you to consider the options that are open to you when you study the Bible. it tends to clear up some of the difficult passages of the Bible.

Compromised Message. I started listening to this app and I was loving it….until I heard their take on Mark 5 and they literally said that “God doesn’t always heal every sickness. It just doesn’t happen.” That to me was blasphemous and it goes against the Word of God because the Bible says “Our FAITH makes us whole.” It’s not God’s fault. They also try to explain things catering a little bit to unbelievers. When I read their mission and what they believed in, I was hoping to read that they believe in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. But they don’t mention it. That was the first red flag, but when they said that God doesn’t heal every disease, that really did it for me. Because God healed me from Leuchemia and from a broken neck that was to leave me paralyzed. BEWARE PEOPLE!!!!!! God IS a Healer!!!!! And He WILL heal EVERY disease!!!!! Psalm 103:2-3 “Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.” DO NOT teach the Bible based on your own personal experience. Teach it the way it says it. Thank God I am a mature believer, but this can definitely creep in very bad seeds in the hearts of new believers. Just Awful.

You don’t need to be a Christian to download this app.. The app gives me an opportunity to easily understand the rather complicated bible. Because of this app I have very much excelled in school for the singular fact that the Bible is in everything. Many books you read will have allusions to the Bible and being able to understand what you’re reading helps identify those allusions. I enjoy most of the pastors/hosts reading and explaining the scripture, they make my chuckle to myself while still learning. In the end if you are not Christian but just curious I highly recommend this app...specifically starting off with pastor Langham. I know the Bible as a whole can be really daunting to people who are new to it. So no matter what you believe you will be welcomed during the guides. There will be no judgement or rude comments over what you believe or do not believe. You’re welcomed here. In terms of faith this app has helped me build a strong relationship with God and teaches me more and more everyday about that relationship. It feels like the more I learn the stronger my relationship gets. This app has actually changed my life...and I know I know that sounds cliche. But it has. P.s. my favorite part of this app is the “B side audios” I highly recommend you don’t skip them :)

App issues. I’ll start off with I LOVE THIS APP!! I’ve been listening for years and have shared it with many people. Many of which have thanked me repeatedly for sharing it with them because they love it too! Kris, you and your team have done an amazing job and I pray that God blesses you all and your families for your work. My wife and I have been listening to a few chapters every night this year, we started a chronological reading plan in the youversion bible app. Last night I had to sign in when I opened the app, which is not normal. My password didn’t work. I clicked forgot password and reset my password. It logged me into my old account that I had on my old phone with the same email address, that’s a while nother story there. I went to open the app tonight and I needed to log in again. My new password that I set last night didn’t work. I tried forgot password again and it didn’t even recognize my account. Both times it gave me a weird message like “User pool 5i1vujv3qepn1aku0r8rh36aqv does not exist.” I don’t know what’s happening, but now I can’t log in at all and I’m afraid that I’m going to lose all of my progress again.😰 Please help!!!

Finding God “Through the Word”. Long time believer, first time Bible reader. My true introduction and deep dive into the word of God came through the You Version Holy Bible app which is great. However, after receiving a strong personal recommendation to check out Through the Word app, it truly took my quest for knowledge and understanding of the Bible to a whole new level! As much as I want to understand and interpret the word of God to apply it to my everyday life and beliefs, I feel the Bible can be somewhat difficult to follow for a new comer as many of the messages that are being conveyed can be lost in translation if you’re uncertain what to make of it. This is why I realized Through the Word was a game changer for me from the first chapter of the Bible I listened and read along to while Pastor Kris Langham & company added their audio commentary. Their interpretation and explanation of the word in a down to Earth and relatable way as it applies to our daily lives today is truly remarkable. I very highly recommend this app for anyone searching for a stronger relationship with God and understanding through His word. In my own personal experience with Through the Word, it’s been like being able to avoid heavy traffic and roadblocks and jumping into an unobstructed fast lane leading me directly to my destination which in my case is building a stronger spiritual relationship Through the Word.

Love this app!. I was looking for a new devotional to read on the Bible app. I was looking for something longer than a few days with more substance than just a short devotional and a few verses (those are great but I was looking for more of a verse by verse study). I just happened to see Through The Word and the study of Revelation, which seemed perfect given what we are going through in 2020. I completed Revelation in the Bible app and then jumped over to the Through the Word app to continue with other books of the Bible. I love Pastor Langham’s explanations of the chapters. So far, it has really added to my understanding of the Bible. I love how he makes the text come alive and even explains or brings to light things I’ve missed when reading these passages previously. I have a whole new appreciation and love for the Bible. Thanks Through the Word.

Focus on God’s Word Daily. Several years ago I began reading the Bible through twice each year. I’m up to my 9th and 10th time this year. However, I discovered I was just fulfilling my vow and not reaping my promised rewards. I wasn’t comprehending what I read daily. I wanted comprehension AND understanding. This app absolutely fulfills that need. My wife and I listen to this message and the Bible Chapter every morning at breakfast. We started with the New Testament which contains 260 chapters and was completed in just under 9 months. The Old Testament contains 929 chapters and takes a little over 2 1/2 years. We’ve completed the NT and are at the end of Isaiah now. So it is not a chore to do, draws us closer together and begins our day with a focus on Godly things. Speakers are outstanding and I generally agree with their points of view. If I disagree, it provides a starting point to do more in-depth studies on my own. Usually, I end up agreeing anyway. Pastor Kris is awesome.

Darkness vs Light. I have often wondered why some people are so afraid of the dark, and how others view it as a temporary moment. The Light dispels the shadows. Think of a child who is afraid to go to sleep because the darkness encompasses the whole room. Mom leaves a night light softly glowing through the night. The shadows no longer exist. The child goes to sleep peacefully, knowing nothing of harm will come her way. And this is how I view Papa/Jesus. They are my night light in the darkness and they are the Sonshine throughout the day. The path is lit and even though I can’t see around the bend, God does. Oftentimes, when things look bleak and I call out, He says, “I’m here! Where else would I be?” “My Lignt can not be snuffed out. It is here for those who are willing to step into the Light of My Presence.”

TOP RATED. I’ve had several apps, books, references, and software packages down through the years, but this one is simply the best, and it’s free, no adds, nothing, just free. It’s not “the best” because of the looks and features, but because of the content! I lead a group of people from all over the country through the Bible each year. Some are new, some immature, and some mature in their faith. We typically use YouVerion’s “The Bible Project” reading plan; however, the content in TTW is heads and shoulders above any other app. Individual TTW books are all available in YouVersion, but it’s not available in YouVersion as a “TTW in 1-Year” guided plan. IT SHOULD BE! Please do this ASAP! This is one of the most important disciplining and mentoring tools I’ve ever found for leading people all over the world in the study of Gods Word! Right now I have my group following “The Bible Project” to keep everyone on track throughout the year, but then they also have to load the individual “TTW” plans as we go along. That’s a lot of extra work, especially for new believers, and I tend to lose some along the way because it’s just too much to keep track of for them. Great Job TTW! You are nothing short of Amazing!

God bless the creators of this app!!!. I am so thankful I found this app and am so grateful for it! What a true labor of love - I’ve shared it with my bible study group and everyone I can!! Longtime believer, I was tired of devotionals and just wanted a way to throughly study the word without feeling rushed - seeking quality over quantity - and this is just what I needed - I love the guidance given and direction on what to read in the starter journey but also that it encourages self study and going deeper on your own. I never write app reviews but had to here I’m just so thankful. And I plan to give a donation soon too I hope other users will as well to bless those that have blessed us with this huge gift and I can’t imagine the hundreds of hours dedicated to such a project.... I’m only a few days in but also love the two teachers so far too ❤️ thank you!!!

Staying in the word made easy!. I found through the word in Feb 2020 through the Bible app. I did a reading plan that included through the word. It has made a huge difference in my ability to stay in the word on a daily consistent basis. I listen to it every morning when making coffee. The quick teaching helps focus me and the teachers are phenomenal. I made it w goal to read the New Testament this year and I am going to reach it because of through the word. I mostly listen to one a day, but on rough days or long days during quarantine it was my go to app to help me remember who is really in charge. Just a note about the teachers. The Bible is not always easy to read or explain. They do a wonderful job of explaining theoretical concepts for the everyday person without pushing any one doctrine on the listener. It’s just exactly what is in the Bible sprinkled with humor and relevant stories!

Truly awesome Biblical teaching. I just began listening to TTW last month. I just finished listening to Mark 10 and I want to tell you that Pastor Kris is a humble servant of God who seems to grasp His truth and communicate it in a clear, direct and amazing way. He never ‘waters down’ any of Jesus’s teachings or the Bible … but he also is so good at conveying the true love of God through His Son Jesus. He never ‘beats you over the head’ with verses … but instead lovingly explains the meaning of them. To me … he’s not ‘interpreting’ the Bible, he just lays it out in a clear way so that God can speak directly through His Word. It’s really the best Bible teaching I’ve heard …. I’ve been a Christian for 38 years and have heard many many Bible ‘teachers’. Thank you and I LOVE this app. I’ve learned so much and have grown in faith and in my relationship with God as a result. ❤️

Through the word App. Guys I thoroughly enjoy your apps as well as your devotions also explanations you give on each of the Bible books. I have learned and enjoyed learning again. I have to say at 56. I am now on the rebound of life. These last three years have been very tough. I’ve lost my father, my mother and have been through a divorce which has caused the separation of my five children and myself somehow the Lord has restored my joy and I continue to try and help others which sustains my energy and I look forward to getting up each morning and enjoying your devotionals. Let’s continue to stay in prayer for each other and the lost. Until we meet, keep up the good work men. Love this app!!. This app has helped me get into studying the Bible after years of just reading or listening without much study. I love Kris Langham, Peyton Jones and Jonathan Ferguson’s audio guides. Some of the others that sound more like a sermon, I have a harder time with. With those pastors, It’s like a friend taking to you about the Bible and giving you insights along the way while encouraging you to look deeper on your own. I could listen to them all day! I’ve been feeling like God wanted me to be more active and less passive in my Bible time and this app has helped me do that. One bug I’ve found is since the new Bible Translations came (wonderful!), I have to go to settings and change from NIV to CSB every time I use the app. Then when I leave the app it goes back to NIV. If I forget to change it before I get to the Bible passage, it sends me to the first passage in that journey rather than the one I was on. So that’s inconvenient. But overall I cannot say enough about this app! Love it!

Technical Feedback. I’m really enjoying studying God’s word this way. I’ve read through the Bible more than once, and I’ve also done in-depth studies of the entire Bible in classroom settings. This audio guide, chapter by chapter, really helps the scriptures come alive. I have let a number of family & friends know about this app & have gotten them to start using this app. My only complaint are a few technical changes I’d like to see. First, I’d like a place within the app to give feedback when there is a technical issue. Today during my audio of 1 Peter 2 side A, it kept cutting out. I changed headphones, tried different headphones, closed the app & reopened, but this same recording needs to be re-recorded. The B side was fine and the chapters before were good. I’d also like when you are done listening to the audio of the scripture reading that it would not just switch to the next day. There are times I want to meditate on the Word. I’d also like to have the ability to highlight scripture within the app & also share scripture. I also wish that if I select B side it would stay there by default instead of needing to select it each time I open the app. Thank you all for your hard work & seeing the delivery of scripture in a new way! I appreciate you & The Bible Project for thinking outside the box to get God’s Word in the hearts of people today! I pray that God continues to bless your ministry.

My Favorite App. I thought I always had a pretty good understanding of the Bible because I have been in church my whole life but as a teenager and in my early twenties I strayed away. A little over 3 years ago I was convicted again and knew it was time to get back to the way I was raised. I have had the you version bible app on my phone for as long as I can remember and I would sign up for different devotionals and complete them but I never felt like I was fully grasping it. A few Sunday’s ago our Pastor told us during his sermon about an app called through the word and how he plays it in his car or whatever works for him. So as soon as I got home I downloaded it and on Monday I started the intro plan and then moved into the Journey. I absolutely LOVE this app! I love the way Pastor Kris breaks down verses and shows us how it’s related to us. I definitely recommend this app to anyone who wants to dig into the word and that’s not just for new believers.

Awesome. I’ve been using this app now for 6 months or so. I am a faithful Bible reader, like every morning kind of faithful. I was using the YouVersion app which has different devotional plans and came across Through the Word’s devotional on the book of Revelation. I loved it so much and Pastor Kris was funny and relatable. So I downloaded the app and it has been such a blessing!! You can choose to go through whatever book of the Bible you want or choose a ‘journey’ with several books of the Bible that lead you on a certain journey of a certain topic. There is a 5-10 minute commentary/sermon by Pastor Kris or a few other great pastors and then you listen to the chapter being read. I like the fact that it is audio because I can get on my elliptical if time is running short and get my exercise and my Bible reading in at the same time (currently haven’t had to do this yet because let’s just be honest if time is short I usually just forego the exercise 🤪 but I like that the option is there). Thanks Pastor Kris and all those involved in putting this app together. I know it has taken a tremendous about of time and hard work but God will use it to bless many.

Transformed my Bible Reading & Study. If you are like me, you want and know you need to read the Bible, but often we don’t understand what we are reading, and may even day dream while reading because of it. When I stumbled upon this simple, short daily audio commentary on each chapter of the Bible, that all changed. I have never stuck with reading anything and never gone longer than a few months in a row without missing my daily quiet time. That has all changed. As of today, I have read a minimum of 1 chapter, and then listened to the audio command ion for 503, out of the last 504 days, yes, I missed One, ugh. I absolutely love this app, and the teachers are just great. Keeping it under 10 minutes almost every day was a great idea by Kris and his team. I started in Genesis, and completed Psalm 39 today. Finally, staying in God’s Word, has improved my Bible memorization, and improved my prayer life, and yes my walk with God. I can see the changes in me, and I praise God for the app, and the change. I am now a donor as well. Hey when something really works, invest there. Try the app, and you will find such great insights form every single chapter of the Bible, the way God meant it to be. Thanks TTW! FYI, I am wearing one or your shirts today, and they are my go to T-shirt; have 2 of them.

What a blessing. I have been listening to your devotions for almost a year now and I just wanted to encourage you by saying what a blessing they have been in my life. I look forward every morning to spending time in your app. I am doing your Holy Week one now but have been doing End times up to this week. I will continue with that next week. Your study is one of the best I’ve ever done and now I am recommending it to my women’s Bible study group. Thank you for taking the time and energy to do this. My dad was a preacher and in his last few years he did a radio Bible study from the New York and Atlanta areas. He believed in getting Gods word out to all as you do. Everyone who is ready needs this app. I have always been Christian but being raised southern baptist I disagreed with a lot of their...let’s say, extreme views. I’ve always wanted to read the Bible for myself so that I could understand things instead of being preached something that I didn’t feel was write. I have tried to read it so many times but failed. Over the last few months upon realizing so much darkness in the world it dawned on me I needed to work on my relationship with the lord. This app was the greatest blessing and I share it with anyone I can. I am young and at 23 I can see my mother using it as well as my 13 year old niece whom I raise. It’s so easy to understand what you’re reading when you have a caring and unbiased teacher explaining to you what you’re learning. Kris is truly an angel in this world. I have had this app for about a month and I am a few chapters away from completing Genesis which is the furthest I’ve ever gotten while attempting to read the Bible. This app has been the greatest blessing.

Helping to Transform my Life. I came across Through the Word a couple of years ago (2021)on The Bible app. I was doing a plan on the Book of Matthew and Pastor Kris and Pastor Jonathan was doing the study together, I absolutely loved ❤️❤️❤️it!!! I gleaned from that planned and God revealed and pursued me so much, even in my weakest moments. Because I came to understand that He remains with His children—always. He will never leave me. My failures, weaknesses, and neediness do not drive Him away, but rather draw Him near. Jesus promises that the evil in this world would go from bad to worse before He returns. In spite of this, as a believer I have ( and the understanding of TTW helped me ) undaunted hope because of Christ’s victory on my behalf. The risen Christ has empowered me as a believer to reach the world with the good news of salvation and TTW will also , Amen. Our Savior conquered death and claimed the victory that no one can take from us! We serve a risen Savior, Hallelujah!!! Matthew 28:20b “and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Thank you Pastor Kris, and THOUGH THE WORD family for all that you and how you help others understand God’s Word. I really enjoy the new reading voice that you have for the Bible. He brings it alive!!! God is doing a mighty work in your life and ministry!

I love this app!!. As a long time believer I’ve found TTW gives insight and encouragement in every chapter. I like that I can read and listen to as many chapters as I like. Kris Langham is especially thoughtful, concise, easy to listen and follow; he gives encouragement and never promotes one church doctrine as the only way to believe. I recommend this app to any one who wants to know God better. On the other hand, Sandy Adams, especially in Isaiah, speaks much and promotes his beliefs in a millennia, which many churches do not teach. I don’t think your team is about ‘views’ of when and how Jesus will reign in eternity. Other teachers have eluded to Millenium rule. However, in my opinion and speaking for myself; the simple purity of mission of The Word would be better represented without Sandy Adam’s opinion being taught as the only way. I’m only in chapter 26-27 of Isaiah, still he is obviously preaching to like-minded people. I understand your mission is to teach The Word with insight, not opinions. I’ll finish the Journeys and re-evaluate. I appreciate all I’ve learned and I appreciate very much the format of the app. I’ve been using it several years and have recommended it often. Would love to see an area for discussion when studying with a group. I love, love, love “through the word”!! I first started listening to your teaching on the Bible app youversion. God laid it on my heart during covid that I wanted to do a Bible study with people since a lot of churches weren’t meeting. (My church was but many weren’t) It started out as like 8 family members. It has now grown to 26 and continuing to grow. I would love to use your app for obvious reasons, we love you guys and are thankful for you and your wisdom. But the problem I have is there is not an place we’re I can invite all my friends/coworkers to comment on what we’ve read and studied. The youversion has that when I invite my peeps to study Gods word. But the youversion doesn’t have all the through the word explained books of the Bible. Everyone loves the way you all bring the scriptures to life and help us all gain new understanding. We are all learning so much. Endless Blessings,

I just discovered this app through The Bible app. I heard one of their studies on anxiety, and enjoyed their style so much that I downloaded the TTW app. What I like about TTW is the personal style of delivery among the teachers/pastors and the studies focused on anxiety reflected a solid understanding of anxiety as a real disorder and that the studies should be a supplement, not the only thing, in treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder; that it would not be going against the Bible nor God to treat anxiety disorders with modern medicine. The teacher mentioned his daughter who has Anxiety Disorder and that she provided valuable insight for him before he published the study. I was impressed to learn that he respected his daughter’s feedback and was humble enough to back up and include one more piece to the study. Her suggestion made a difference for me and I feel it was a very valuable addition to the study. TTW is now on my very short list of apps, along with The Bible app, that are on my Home Screen and not sorted into a folder.

Really helpful for people with ADHD. This app is good for my ADHD, I would like to see the words highlighted and the page scroll ( this helps me to continue to pay attention and focus on the words being said). I did see some reviews that said they didn’t like certain instructors. To that I say pray, I will also pray for you. I too was like that and did not like to listen to Payton Jones, after I prayed; becuase I knew the enemy was trying to stop me from my blessing; he became my favorite instructor he helped me to fall in love with Leviticus, I get excited when I see his name is on a lesson. Also if someone ( I can’t remember the instructors name ) is instructing and it sounds like they are talking to a kid that is a good thing as kids do listen to this. Lastly, please don’t take any of this as hate I love you all and pray that you all get your blessings that God has for you! Happy Listening !

I really love Through the Word.. Edit: I strongly agree with the person that mentioned Melanie Herlbut. I avoid listening to her sessions, which makes me sad, because I would really like to do the topics she covers. But I can’t handle being talked to like I’m a child. Also, I agree with the person that said they wished you could keep all the movie references like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Narnia out. I want to hear from the Bible, not a movie review, and when you go off on those tangents it’s very distracting from the Word. Otherwise, I absolutely love TTW. I get into it every morning. There’s times I go through whole books in one sitting. I have been through Revelations, Daniel, Esther, Ezra and most of the New Testament several times. Waiting on new books to go through 💖💖 do my Daily Devotions with it every morning. Kris is of course, my favorite. One thing big on my wish list, please have each minister start telling which version of the Bible they are reading from in that session as I like to follow along. Every time I think I have their preferred version, they go to another one, then I have to play back and play back until I find the correct one at the beginning. I do always like to go back at the end and read the whole book though in the kjv. Just a purist at heart. Anyway, if that could be added somehow, that would be great. I’m sure I’m not the only one that would like this.

A Newfound Love For God’s Word. I’ve grown up in church my entire life and have read the Bible off and on since I was a child. There were some weeks I would only crack it open on Sundays and Wednesday’s. During quarantine I decided to make it a daily habit of starting my day in the Word. I opened my Bible App and found Through The Word audio guide. I started with Matthew...and I was hooked! I couldn’t wait to get out of bed in the mornings and spend time with Jesus. Fast forward to August 28, 2020 and I am still waking each morning and starting my day in the Word. It’s amazing how starting your day with Jesus sets the trajectory for the rest of your day. I’m so thankful for this audio app. It’s such a great guide that helps me stay consistent. I love that it encourages you to spend additional time reading on your own. It’s an aid to help in understanding scripture more fully. I’m so thankful I discovered this app but even more thankful for my newfound love of God’s Word!

Such a HUGE, HUGE Blessing!!. Through the Word is an exceptional app! I was first drawn to the Revelation plan and later discovered the actual app. I absolutely LOVE the insight, perspective, and transparency of Kris Langham and additional teachers who present the Bible in such a REAL way, bringing us into the heart of God and life of the people during OT and NT times. They were just like you and me!! - navigating life’s journey with the Creator - the One Who is still FOR us and not against us! Through the Word’s options are outstanding; individual books, plans, topics, and features including audio, help reading, studying, and hearing the Word a beautiful and vital experience - especially during these hectic and challenging times in the world today. Bravo to everyone who’s worked so hard to design this FREE app, along with all the ongoing technical maintenance! We thank you GREATLY!!

Never been more excited to read the Bible!. I’ve been a Christian all my life, with seasons of really being into my faith and going to church every week to seasons of barely thinking about God. Then 13 years ago I found a great church and pastor that I learned more from than my entire 50 years before and it revived my faith and helped me see it’s all about Jesus and my relationship with Him. And then a few years later, finding You Version helped me become even more excited to learn and grow through their devotions/plans. It was in that app that I started listening to Revelation Explained and Pastor Kris. I loved it so much that I found a couple more books Explained that I went through before thinking I have to get the TTW app! And as so many have said, I have never been so excited to sit down every day and read the Bible. I actually look forward to my time I sit and listen to Pastor Kris! He not only brings greater understanding to each and every chapter of the Bible, but does so in such a relatable way with not only how the Bible all relates, but with real life stories and ways you can apply it in your own life. I love his speaking style - he’s funny, smart and he just knows so much that I feel he’s full of wisdom from God. Amazing. I’m not certain how many years I’ve been learning and enjoying Through The Word Bible journey. My first introduction was simply the four gospels. Since then I’ve enjoyed all of the 19 journeys, and am now into the NTY. I’m looking forward the study into the minor prophets. And if you create a study into the “major prophets “ I’ll enjoy that as well.” What is amazing to me, is that as often as I’ve reread the same books, however in a different order, or context, the story seems different. It’s likely my comprehension, or perhaps It is the Lord revealing more of himself to me, as long as I’m willing to listen and read. It is exciting that the “do overs” … (a technical golf term) are more so revealing and more understandable. I’m 80, I’ve known that Jesus is the son of God and is my savior for most of my life, my mother made sure of that as she taught Sunday School and gave me no slack. I’m blessed because of her. Has blessed my time with God soooo richly ✝️🥺. Through the Word is hands-down one of my favorite apps ever I will never delete this app! This app has helped me to daily connect with God through his word and encourage me to not just read a verse or a part of a chapter but you read at least a chapter a day or more; through doing so I’ve been able to really cherish God’s word and it has blessed me so richly and deeply!!! This app has taught me even more so to cherish God’s beautiful word and to delight in Him! I love the audio guides so much and I absolutely love sharing this app with others so they can too be blessed and connect with God daily and deeply ✝️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️! I love that you can choose any book in the Bible to go through and how they also have Bible Journey plans you can do. My only critique is the fact that they only have NIV in the Bible section that follows an audio guide time. I believe that NKJV, NASB and possibly others need to be added as options. But for now I just use my written bible in addition to the app.

A Gift from God. I have been reading the Bible for many years. I even read it from beginning to end one year. Even so, I felt like I was missing something. I just wasn’t getting as much out of it as I thought I should. I have the Bible app, and I enjoy following the plans, especially the devotionals. That’s where I found the plan Faith by Kris Langham. After the first session, I was so impressed with the way Pastor Kris explained the reading that I wanted more. I immediately downloaded the Through The Word app, and was thrilled to find that the entire Bible is covered in the same friendly, easy to listen to and understand manner that I found in Faith. I am looking forward to listening to and understanding scripture one book at a time. This is exactly what I felt was missing from my Bible reading, and I truly believe that God led me here. A New Life. I have always believed in God and know for sure that He has always provided and looked out for me. I’ve read the Bible on and off...mostly off. A couple of months ago my best friend got me interested in a Bible app. We started reading and listening to the chapter by chapter audios. Then found this app with the same gentlemen discussing each chapter. I absolutely love it and have never ever been as intrigued by the Word as I am now. I look forward to each and every chapter. I’m getting an understanding of Jesus and the times in which He walked like never before. I absolutely love the “back story” explained in every chapter of the Word. I am curious by nature and this app really feeds and nourishes me every day. I have changed. I am more settled, more compassionate and find myself craving the Word. It is not an understatement that the discussions in this app has changed my life. I keep saying...I’m different. I’ve never been here before. I am grateful beyond words. Thank you. Apple iWatch Needs This App!. I love this app and I use my ear piece and my watch when I'm outside mowing, weeding gardening and etc. I like using my iwatch for my music and now I'm wanting to add TTW to it only too learn today it's only on phone and IPad not my iWatch I'm major saddened by this. Being new to the iWatch I thought all my apps would work.. Have you all thought about making it available for the Apple Watches ?? It sure would make my day to hear yes we are in Apple Watches now! Great! It’s My Everyday Go To. I found Through The Word app several years ago, and have been using it nearly daily for additional Bible commentary on Chapters. They have continuously worked to improve the app over the years, and listen to user feedback to make it even better. I have been recently tracking chronologically through the Bible 1 chapter (or sometimes more) at a time. Each morning I will read or listen to a chapter of the Bible. I then go to Through The Word and listen to the associated chapter’s commentary. I have gained a deeper understanding of the scriptures, and have enjoyed the variety of Bible teachers who have contributed. This app has helped me be the most consistent I have ever been, in getting into God’s living word... on almost a daily basis. It is very easy to pick the chapter, put in my ear buds, and listen while I make my coffee, or brush my teeth. It is now just part of my normal routine, and a habit in my daily routine. I’ve told multiple friends and family about it, and I would encourage anyone to download it and begin using it.

Where has this been all my life!?!?. I cannot say enough about how much I love this app! It’s so important to hear insight about the Word that is scripturally based. I love that even when Pastor gives his opinion he clarifies that he is not the authority and God has the final say. When I listen it feels like I’m sitting at the table having coffee with the teachers, sometimes I even join in with an “AMEN” or “ohhh I didn’t catch that before”. I found this app after doing a study on Revelations in the YouVersion app (also highly recommended) and I am so thankful to have this app added to my daily time in the Word. It satisfies that craving to dig a little deeper without feeling like I’m neglecting my children because each day of insight is only 10 minutes long or so! My one and only wish is that we could choose what version of the Bible we listen to on the app, but still giving this 5 stars!

Craving the Word of God. It was the book of Job where I desperately sought out a way to gain more teaching of Bible readings. I found a podcast and listened to it whenever I could. The insight and love I have for the book of Job couldn’t have happened on my own. So I went back to a couple Bible apps to see if I could connect more, understand more. I found Through The Word on one of these apps and immediately went and downloaded it so I could “journey through the Bible one book at a time”. The audio guide is perfect for me. Equipped with a Bible I can color in and my favorite art supplies, I listen to guide after guide while coloring, writing scripture passages, or highlighting and taking notes. One chapter is never enough. Studying the Bible has become my favorite part of the day. I thank God for this audio guide, and his desire for us all to know Him more through His Word.

Next level!. I shamefully took too long to finally read through the Bible cover to cover 20 plus years after being saved, but God is good! I just read with a book by book overview, and on second time through I wanted something a little more in depth. I found TTW within the Bible App and started back in Genesis and I’m enjoying it so much. It talks about each chapter but things to look for in the Big Picture of the whole Bible. They explain connections to other parts of the Bible or typologies you never noticed before….. These are simple bite sized information for believers looking to grow in His Word. I’m excited to use TTW to make it through my second go around of reading the Bible cover to cover. Thank you to Chris and His obedience to launch this and to all of those who have helped make this all available for everyone who wants it.

Absolutely Love Through The Word. I love this app and the way God is working through the teaching team at Through the Word. I’m a pastor, and I use the audio guides in this app for my own personal daily Bible study. Over the past few years, I’ve done some of the studies multiple times (the Gospels, Romans, 1 and 2 Thess, Daniel, the rest of Paul’s Epistles, Revelation, etc); I also incorporated the guides into most of my reading through the entire Bible the past year. God is using you to help me think through even familiar passages in new ways and to make my Bible study time much more effective, which makes me much better and more effective as a pastor. I also use it in some of the groups I lead at our church as a way to introduce a chapter of the Bible before we read it and discuss it together. I recommend this app regularly and also regularly install it and set it up on the phones of some of our more technically challenged folks. Everyone I’ve recommended it to love it as well. Thank you Pastors Kris and Jonathan and the rest of the teaching team. My wife and I love what you’re doing so much with Through the Word that we give monthly to your ministry. Helpful Addition to Bible Study. TTW has been a helpful resource to my Bible reading. I like that there are different teachers who have slightly different perspectives and teaching styles. It’s really been helpful in going through the Old Testament as the teachers tend to give a lot of historical background and context. Mostly, I appreciate the passion that can be heard in the the teachers. They sincerely seem to love the Word themselves and come across as wanting the listener to grow and be encouraged with the Word. The app itself is handy and I like that it keeps track of what I’ve listened to. Seeing the check marks on the completed books is great! I recommend this app to anyone who wants to start getting into Bible study and also for those who want to go deeper. I’m on my forth year of reading through the Bible, and using this app this year has helped enlighten things that I hadn’t seen before.

A New Believer. I started the Journey on this App and I was not satisfied reading one story a day. I started reading three to four chapters a day and I could not put the Bible down. Some stories made me cry thinking how can God love someone like me. I am so proud that I finished all the journeys and I am now starting from the beginning and reading it again. I am noticing things that I missed in my journey and I am constantly learning more and more that I cannot ever get enough. I wish I knew this a long time ago, it would of made things easier for me. God called out to me several times and I got baptized, but never followed through 50 years later and he called me again and this time I felt nothing more powerful that I needed him in my life. I thank him everyday for his wonderful gift. If I had not been molested several times in my life, I do not believe I would of reached out to him. I am a survivor and a child of God. I am not sure if I am doing things right, but I have faith that he will lead me. Thank you for this app I truly enjoy reading and learning God’s word. I read it first thing in the morning, so my husband can learn and he has accepted Jesus as his savior and I could not be more proud. I would recommend to anyone just do a few chapters and then decide. And see what God can do with your heart and soul.

Found by God. It’s funny, I have the Bible app on my phone. About 6 months ago, when saying I’d like a devotional, I found the devotional section in the plans. But I would do two or three days and be done. Then I found audio devotionals. Through the word has devotionals in The Book if Revelations. I started it and loved that it read to me. I did part 1 & part 2. That’s when they discussed the app- through the word- or it was the first time I caught it. I’m someone who suffers fro anxiety and adhd. I’m a teacher and my husband was just recently sent over seas with his job in the military. Then this COVID 19 thing happened- and it is surrounding him and where he is. And I’m home- dealing with this in my end and my four year old daughter. In my time of panic I found this app. God knew I needed it. It’s so great. Glory be to God for helping get me the word. I’m too afraid to go to church. I have asthma and issues where I am someone at a moderately high risk of danger. I am in need of calmness from God. His word. His message. And I can do it all while working out. Or teaching from my house using distance learning. Thank you. In the midst of COVID 19 your app found me. Thank you.

Amazing app!. I LOVE this app and praise the Lord it found me! A friend was doing the Revelations TTW Study in the YouVersion Bible App (PTL for the Community feature in that app!) and I had been studying Revelations, so it was a perfect companion to the First Five Study I was doing. Today is my last day! God makes All Things New! Amen! The pastors on TTW app do such a good job of doing a short summary with great illustrations and insightful tidbits. It has REALLY helped me understand it and I’m an auditory learner, so it’s perfect for me. I am also doing a through the Bible in a year study through my church on the Red Rocks Church app and studying Psalms. I had been looking for a good short summary of the various psalms and when I downloaded the TTW app I found it! The Psalms study and the subscription option in the TTW app are great and I can’t wait to do some more studies as I work my way through. Can’t wait to explore more features of the app and I highly recommend. Great companion to reading through the Bible or just on its own.

My daily habit. I am ashamed to admit that I was a “lukewarm” Christian before finding the Through the Word app. Just reading my bible on my own was unfulfilling because I struggled to understand and apply it to my life. Since discovering the app and listening to Pastor Chris and the other Pastors, my life has changed dramatically. They make it easy to understand and when I read along it makes sense. It has opened a whole new way of me understanding God’s word. By making it my daily habit to listen to Gods word with the Through the Word app, the Holy Spirit has filled me with the desire to seek Him and His word more. In turn I want to share His message with others which has led me to reach out to more people. I am so grateful that God is working through those at Through the Word and I would encourage everyone to try it for themselves. In Love with My Bible Again. I had been asking God to help me fall in love with my bible again. To give me that passion I had once before. When I came across Through the Word while doing a reading plan in another app that I really enjoy, I knew this was it! My invitation from God to explore His Word in a new and deeper and exciting way—-with a guide! Engaging, thought provoking! I feel as though I have study partners who explain the Word in such a simplistic way that helps me to actually see things I never saw before. And because it’s just 10 minutes a day I am actually meditating on the lessons and considering how to apply it to my life. attention span of a 2 year old, memory of a goldfish. Xristos Anesti ! I havent been able to retain anything i read in the bible for the last maybe six months Ive been trying to read it. Its been a terrible struggle. I was looking for a bible audio and through all my research, i hated every voice. I just couldnt listen to the narrator. I found this app and i can, Glory to God, tolerate the narrator. I actually quite like the narrators voice. Its a bit of a dramaticized narration with NO song or audio in the background, which im really grateful for. Not even just that, its got commentaries!!! Im hoping one day they'll add all of the books of the bible because it looks like they only have 66 of them right now, but I guess I'll have to look elsewhere for the rest of the books. Im very grateful for this app still and am looking forward to getting through the books of the bible that they have available!🥰

The book of Ezra. I really want to give this a five star review but this particular book, so far, is the only one that feels like Kris Langham is speed talking. I cannot listen as fast as this recording is going. I don’t want to rush through my studies. I want it to be normal speed so that I can retain stuff - when he’s flying through the words I can’t listen and I find myself trying to go back and comprehend what he just said while still trying to hear what he is saying and I’m having to stop it. It’s just too fast. In addition, the new intro and exit music playing - I don’t like as much as I like the other one. On the bright side of things I give Through the Word 5 stars as a whole. I love the commentaries before each chapter. It gives me so much insight on what I’m about to read that I probably would never have thought. It helps me to dig deep into the meaning of God’s word. Found Trough The Word first in the Bible app ‘plans’ which are various Bible audio guides/devotions, TTW was one that stood out to me because of how engaging the audio guide was! it’s also not that long, perfect to fit into your daily bible study! I love everything about this app. The design and the content are incredible! It’s contains all the books of the bible, the audio guides covering each chapter! Plus it’s easy to navigate. The Best!. It’s a wonderful app and probably the best I’ve used for understanding the Bible. At first I thought it would serve mainly new converts but as I work through it on a daily basis I’m finding that it’s for everyone, even me as a 73 year old Christian for the past 37 years. Fabulous Bible Tool - and, where are the female voices?. I absolutely would recommend this app to everyone of all ages! I have been using this Bible tool for years now and though I love listening to the pastors read and comment each chapter, it would be refreshing to hear a female voice in that space. They tell you the truth.. Through the Word is open, honest, relatable and clearly driven by a genuine love for God’s people. The teaching given has opened up my understanding of just how little of the Bible I had figured out for myself and I am SO grateful for that. These lessons elucidate the meaning I was sure was there but could not put into words myself. It has been a humbling and life affirming journey so far, and I am but a few dozen chapters along. Accepting, loving and foundational theology for the layman and teacher alike. Great App.. Great app. Very insightful. However; have you thought about shortening your chapter summaries to a maximum of 5 mins, or doing a short and long version. Very hard to stay interested for nearly 10 mins per chapter.

Awesome app. This App has helped me to understand the Bible so much better. I’m two and a half times through the Bible. In reading the passages I find I’m not getting the message because of the wording. Sometimes it just doesn’t make sense. With these great speakers, the message comes across a lot clearer. My only issue with the speakers is Paster Sandy Adams. He speaks well, has a great message, buuutttt, when he speaks, his voice goers supper loud then extremely quiet. I find myself having to adjust the volume constantly. In doing that, I miss some of the great message he is speaking. Keep up the great work.

Most of all thr teaching I’ve listened to has been done by Kris with couple introductions to others so i won’t comment on them till i hear more… but Kris you are fantastic!! Context is everything, and humor keeps me listening. My absolute thanks for building this funny, real, and always inspiring study. What was dry is alive, and what was confusing is clear. Request: I’d love a way to search a particular story. For example: today I’m teaching Sunday school, the lesson is Woman at the Well; I want to study up on it with you before I go teach.

I love this APP, But. I use this app daily. The commentaries are excellent and teach solid evangelical doctrine. I really appreciate that you are updating the older ones. 🤩 thank you for blessing so many with this ministry. BUT There seem to be glitches in the iOS versions. Sometimes when listening on my iPhone the app will play the commentary and then the bible chapter as normal, but then will keep reading the following chapters. It doesn’t always return to the commentary. On my iPad, I tried to listen to a chapter that I had previously listened to; the app wouldn’t let me return to the previous chapter. In fact, it skipped forward to the chapter readings only of the following chapters. The app kept skipping to the next chapter, marking it as complete when I had not heard the commentary.

Matthew Ch. 24. Is it possible to hear Kris Langham’s viewpoint on Matthew chapter 24?

Waste of time. This app is not very well thought out a daily plan should not be on continuous play. The features are very hard to understand. This app is very frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend it especially if you are on a tight schedule There are better apps out there

Psalms. Love your app, but I have a question I’m on journey 6 in the book of Psalms chapter 8. I missed a few days and now when I go back in psalms I noticed I’m back at the beginning and the teachers are different. What happened?

Bible reading & explanations. I am so thankful for this app and it’s Bible teachers. I have been reading the Bible on my own for more than. 20 years and I still have more questions than answers in some passages I read. I need teachers like these to help clarify the confusing things that are in the Bible.

Excellent. An easy to use, comprehensive bible study. Perfect for some one new to the Bible as well as some one familiar but wanting a better understanding.

Voice notes repeatedly having error uploading. I’ve been using the app for half a year now because of the voice note function that You version doesn’t have. Recently I’ve encountered errors uploading my voice notes and after 3 minutes of recording, the voice note is not recoverable. This has become quite frustrating and I’m wondering if it’s worth just going back to You Version and writing out a text commentary instead of risking the voice note uploads failing. It’s a great app and I really love the idea, hopefully the bug can be fixed!

Love the app. I absolutely LOVE the app. However I do wish there was a way share one day readings with others. I would like to be able to share something that touched me on a certain day or share a certain with some who I think could benefit that day’s scripture and in sites without having to invite them to the whole thing. But I LOVE this app and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good way to start getting into the word for themselves.

SO HELPFUL AND NEEDED. I am absolutely loving this app! It’s really explaining the Bible leaving. It’s really helping me put my faith into practice and Word of God into practical application! Thank you for taking the time to create it! I’ve been a believer for about 13 years and have been through the New Testament several times. Something changes when I hear it audibly and is explained in a new way! It’s really helping me know “how” I am supposed to live as a Christian so I can walk in the presence of God daily and not be hiding in shame, sin and lacking knowledge.

Thank you. Recent enhancement has changed the way TTW flows. I cant simply read scriptures. After I finish a chapter it automatically skip to the next chspter and the only way to stop this is to close the app. I prefered the behaviour of the teachings before your enhancement. That being said, I appreciate being guided one chapter at a time. I am truly understanding the journey through the Old Testament

Bible Versions. This is such an amazing app!!! I use it just about everyday. I really appreciate the addition of different versions and the ability to read before and after the teaching. Is there a way to indicate which version each teacher is using?

Chris and evolution. Chris, you better get your head on straight might even be handy if you started believing in God‘s word instead of evolution that makes me sick.

App sign in problems. This app is terrible. Have trouble signing in most times. Change my password and still corrupted. Although I enjoyed the content it’s just to frustrating to continue to use it.

What???. I was listening to Romans 9 New Testament in a year. It was a great teaching on election then at the end, after the young lady says the wrap up, Pastor Kris’ voice reruns taking the Lords name in vain saying that someone found him. I have no idea why this clip is present. I listened to it twice to see if I missed a running joke that someone was after him but found none. I am a very liberal individual but to hear a Pastor use God’s name in such a way was odd and off putting. Perhaps those is a valid reason but I do not know what reason you could have.

Love this app!. Excellent, real life teaching that only takes about 10 minutes of your day! Great way to learn more about what the bible has to say! Definitely recommend this app.

Almost 1000 days straight!. I started using TTW at the start of Covid as a way form a group of guys to stay connected - and we’ve never stopped! We’ve gone almost 1000 days straight reading a chapter a day and gaining insight (and great 80s references) from the gang at TTW. I’ve never read my Bible this consistently in my whole life, and TTW audio guides can reveal hidden depth and meaning to even the toughest books. (Deuteronomy was one of my faves to listen to!) Quality audio, quality content. Get this app!

Easy to form habit, great overview. Have been listening to the TTW app for a year and almost all done the first round! Audio commentary/bible reading and short session for each chapter make it super easy to form habit. Commentary helpful to gain an overview of the Bible, looking forward to delve deeper via other sources after I finish listening to TTW once. Thank you all and God bless your ministry.

Listening with kids. Love everything about this app except the teachers who keep cursing to make a point. Can we stop with words like st**id and idiot and the likes? It takes away from the holiness of the time we’re spending doing Bible study.

I Highly Recommend. Thank you for this app. I have been using it for a few years now, and other than the occasional glitch after an upgrade (which they fix within a few days), I have never had problems with it technically. The content is fantastic, and I have grown so much in my faith and my understanding of Scripture. I am currently on Journey 7, and this daily time in the Word is the highlight of my day. Best app to read through the bible!. My wife and I found the app when we were looking for something useful to guide us through revelations. We really loved the study! Pastor Kris has so much knowledge and his teachings are easy to follow and logical. I really enjoy that he approaches the bible impartially, explaining all different interpretations that are out there, following through with them so that they’re understandable. His approach is logical and scientific, connecting those two things with another, showing God's glory in a wonderful way. He also has a gift of presenting the Word in a way that I can take something out of it for my every day life. So far I have pretty much listened through the whole bible. I listen to it on the way to work, which always is a beautiful start to the day. Right after the teaching, I listen to the actual scripture, which is played automatically with a really calming voice that is easy to listen to. The pastors on the app are passionate people and you can feel the love they’re pouring into their ministry. They even managed to make it interesting and useful to listen through books like Leviticus! And that is a blessed preacher who can do that. If you still haven’t, download the app! Following a reading plan has never been easier, more fun, nor more useful than with Through the Word! Great App but . . .. Please provide a better method to chronicle one’s progress. The app wants to move on each day to the next chapter automatically. Please let it pause until the reader selects to move at their own pace, to the next chapter. I really Love your work, it is so enjoyable but keeping track of progress or a way to check where you left off needs work. Kris, I really felt uncomfortable, leaving the above feedback when this app is the most enjoyable app for studying Bible that I have ever found. Love it!. Before the beginning of the year, God kept putting the idea to read the whole Bible on my mind. He knows I’m a procrastinator so he gave me a nudge through a friend. She invited me to join her in a reading plan (on another Bible app) that would take us through the whole Bible in one year. So I’m on this journey reading chapters not really understanding some of it. And then I stumbled on TTW. WOW! This app has been making my journey through the Bible much better. I love that I am able to get insight on each chapter as I’m reading them. Because we all know the Bible is so packed full of information. Information that a first timer through the Bible will not pick up. Plus, since I’m actually understanding what I’m reading, I’m on track to complete it in about 2 weeks (a little more than 3 months ahead of schedule.) Woo hoo!

AMAZING. I’m a Christian who is like some of us and throughout time I’d be asked biblical questions and never had the answer and never really read through the Bible it even in some instances felt like a book. But when my brother had sent me this app I didn’t look at it in honest truth, but when I did a lot in my life has changed tremendously and quickly as if Jesus was waiting for me to truly follow him. I’ve had this app now for 2 weeks and it’s so awesome to hear the word by pastors as they either guide or explain to you how this app works and through the Bible. Just absolutely awesome!. I have shared this and have told so many people about this app! In summary… I was listening to a great series on the Bible app….hosted by an great guy teaching it….then one day….the next day in my series it was a different guy speaking….I panicked! I went back and desperately searched for who the guy was that was talking….and BAM it was Kris Langham and it said I could find him on an app called through the word! Honestly, I haven’t looked back and I now share this app constantly! He is a great teacher and a great explainer….not just a reader of a passage! I sent the app out to my 6 kids and they all laughed cause dad was so jacked about an app! They love it and so will you!

Bible app. First and foremost I highly encourage TTW. I love the way that Gods word is brought to life. I have 2 things that I am having trouble with and I hope you can help me figure it out. 1- when I am working in the studies that you have, when I go to the next scripture the previous one isn’t marked as read and I loose place where I stopped. I then don’t know where to start when I come back to do the next part. Your old setup had it. 2- when I have hit the wrong button and I go into a study I didn’t want, I can’t figure out how to get back to where I can go to the one I wanted. I use TTW regularly in my studies. I may be doing something wrong, but I am wanting to figure it out. Any help would most definitely appreciated. Thank you for TTW.

Understanding Through the Word.. I stumble across TTW in the Bible studies found in the YouVersion Bible App. Signed up for the book of Mark study. It was Fantastic. I listened, I read, and I wrote in my journal what I was learning. Then I downloaded the TTW App after I completed the Study. I have shared the App with friends. We now Study together a 1000 miles apart. She in Illinois and I in Texas. Texting and calling each other to discuss what we studied and how will we apply to our lives. We currently doing the New Testament in a Year plan. I would recommend this App to anyone, seasoned teacher or just someone wanting to study. Life Changing. Edit- The daily devotion is now playing on loop only on my iPad. There’s no longer a loop button to press to correct it. It’s annoying so I hope it can be fixed. I also can no longer swipe right on a guide to mark it done or uncheck it. To say I appreciate this app is an understatement. This app has gotten me through these darker years, including present day. When I was having more severe neurological issues, I couldn’t read & retain what I read. This app helped that. I won’t lie, I don’t care for all the people teaching, & Pastor Chris can try too hard at being funny 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 But that’s small potatoes. Nothing will ever be perfect, but Pastor Chris has a perfect heart for the Lord & it shows.

How Through the word helped me read through bible in one year. I found through the word through the Bible app doing on daily devotions, but then received a Bible from a friend that allow me to read the Bible through one year, and I started using through the word to help me with the chapters that were harder for me to understand. I was so excited when I found the app specifically for through the word, and it helps me to be able to listen to the book and down, followed by the scripture being read and feel like God is stick close in my mind my heart and I’m using through the word together app with a friend. I’m in Florida and she’s in Portland this is keeping us close together in Gods word

Loving Through the Word. I found TTW through YouVersion Bible app. After 7 years of listening daily to various apps on YouVision, I came upon a few TTW plans. I introduced the plans to my husband and we both now have downloaded the app. We enjoy learning while listening to Kris Langham. *A suggestion for the app would be a search button. If there is one, I have yet to find it. We started revelations plan in YouVision and I wanted to continue reading in the TTW app and cannot find the Revelations segments. It’s not a problem though, I’ll just go between both apps. TTW app resonates with us through their plans in a new light and we Thank God for people like Kris sharing the word and being dedicated to teaching.

Great app!. I’ve been a Christian for many long years, but I’ve always struggled with reading the Bible and wondering if I was getting my interpretation correct. This has been so exciting to have help with interpretation and still reading the Bible verses. I’m in my 60s and feel like I am more in tune with God‘s word that I have ever been before. Thank you, Pastor Kris for taking the time and effort to put this all out for all of us who really really needed it. I have sent this to family members and new Christians over and over again. My 12 year-old grandson listens to four lessons a day, it’s been such a blessing in my life and those around me. I can’t say thank you enough!

Intro and outro. I really enjoy the lessons for each chapter but I don’t believe that the intro or the outro is needed for every chapter that we go over. when you’re having your quiet time in the word, sometimes the music, the introduction and all of that kind of spoil my meditation process. There’s a place for it. I’m not saying delete it all together, but maybe we can narrow it way down to this section is done by this person, and that’s that? Also, it would be nice if there was a search feature, and maybe I’m missing it, but I was trying to find something, and there was no place to search that item or name or circumstance to see if I could find the scripture it was in. Also, I love the fact that you have a audio version of the New King James Version, the female voice is very pleasant. But if I had an option between male and female I think I’d leave it alone. Because it’s always been a man this is a good change and ok because the actual YouVersion app does not have an audio version of NKJV at all I am grateful to hear it…period. Thank you for that but I’d like to be able to hear the Bible without a lesson in between sometimes I just want to hear/listen to the word without interruption? So, maybe these are some changes that can be done? Otherwise, I enjoy TTW.

Been looking for a bible help for years. In the past, I have tried numerous times to read and understand the Bible. I have bought books, attended bible studies, studied chapters in Sunday school and tried just reading the Bible by myself. All of this to become more confused and frustrated. Through the Word has truly been a game changer for me. I finally have found a true help for studying the Bible. Many times I come away being truly inspired. This app is set up for a person to read one chapter at a time. Many times I can’t wait to study the next chapter, so I study more than one chapter that day. I have told many people about this app and now I am telling you. Download this app and dive in. You will be inspired as never before.

Best Bible Study App. I have always had a hard time reading the Bible every day. I felt like I couldn’t understand it and I would get easily distracted. Then I found this app and its great because they have speakers/pastors that go though each chapter in detail and explain it in terms I understand, through the whole Bible! Which is amazing for people like me! Now I am in the Word every day (well at least on my phone). I also do not have an excuse not to be in God’s Word every day since it’s on my phone. If I can look at Facebook or watch a show on my phone I can take the 10 minutes to do the Bible study and read the chapter that goes along with it! Thank you Through The Word for this amazing app!

Study and read a learning aid. I love this app. A couple friends of mine and I started going through the Bible some time back. I’d never gone from cover to cover. Your app had been a great help and the teachers have given me much to think about and explained a lot. I am in the book of Psalms and really enjoy Pastor Adams!!! I was surprised when Psalm 119 was only 8 minutes of understanding. I believe I have heard from all of your teachers now and I learned much. I work at a retirement community and quite often use what I’ve learned from your app and one other. But like the Berean’s I do read my bible to verify the word. Thank you so much! So glad I found this app!. I started listening to the TTW app in the Bible App as a devotion (Revelation Explained). I really enjoyed the way it was an audio of each chapter broken down with an explanation of what Kris (an awesome pastor) felt it meant. I loved how he kept stating that we need to come to our own conclusions but that he was happy to help guide the way. I downloaded the TTW app and now have been doing a plan that has me reading the Bible with them every morning- I look forward to how the Bible is opening up and how I can apply what I learned in the study to my day! You can choose a few different ways of reading the Bible with them whether you are a beginner or someone who has read the Book several times. Get this app! You won’t know why you didn’t do it sooner. Huge help. Through the Word has been a huge help to me in reading/understanding the Bible and in my relationship with God. I had tried to read the Bible many times, but could never understand it and would just give up. Thanks to Through the Word, I have been able to understand the Bible and embrace it’s teachings leading me to a closer relationship with God. I will now also read sections of the Bible on my own and I can hear what God is trying to tell me. It is so easy to use Through the Word. I can listen to it while walking or driving in the car. It only takes about 15minutes and I look forward each day to learning more about the Bible and God. Thank you Through the Word for so deeply impacting my life and spiritual journey- this app has truly been a blessing in my life.

Clarity and reveling the meaning of the Bible. The Bible is overwhelming, and I didn’t know where to start reading it. Also, very confusing and a lot of old culture ways of life which made it not relatable. But this app, Through The Word, was like putting on prescription eye glasses on for the first time! Short bible studies which helps focus the meaning of the Bible! The Bible studies add point in time meanings, and ties the story to today’s world. I was never taught the structure of the Bible until I started with this app. Thank you for a meaningful app that I listen to when I am getting ready in the morning in the bathroom, driving to work, and when I have 10 minutes to kill. This app is a better use of time rather than watching garbage on your phone or TV.

What version is the reader using?. I am truly enjoying this app. I have thoroughly gone through 3 books and am on my 4th. The first book that I went through was Revelation. It always seemed so daunting, but now i’m not afraid of the content. I do wish that when the audio for the bible reading is going, that I could follow along on this app. As it is now, I have to follow along on the Holy Bible app…which turns out that it might be a good thing… I don’t like to say anything negative, but as I was following along in Matthew 12, the reader said that Jesus went through the “cornfields” instead of “grain fields” and his disciples ate the “cobs” instead of “heads of grain”. 🤔 I like the NKJV or the NIV. I have zero idea what version he was using. It doesn’t seem like a big deal, but what else will be completely different? Kris is great and God bless him and all the people involved in bringing this app to us! It’s obvious that they love God, so I definitely have suggested this app to people! As with anything to do with God’s word, especially on apps, double check with your physical bible. Don’t just take someone’s word for it. Dive in! It’s totally worth it! ❤️

A Really Wonderful Guide. I first came across Through The Word in YouVersion when I was looking for a guide through the book of Romans. It was so helpful to have each chapter broken down and elaborated on. I went through all of the other Through The Word plans on YouVersion, then got the app so I could access the rest. I’ve been listening to them for my morning devotions every day for almost a year and a half. I feel that I’ve learned much more about God’s word than I would have just reading on my own. I’m grateful to Kris and the rest of the team for putting it all together, and I look forward to any new plans that comes out in the future. I’d love to hear Kris speak on the book of Kings.

Could be better!. I would give this app 5 stars but it gets a 2 from me. They appeal to people who need distractions to study the word. If I want to follow Lord of the Rings or all the other people they keep inserting into the studies I would just follow that. You’re following them when they are breaking down a chapter, totally enthralled and then they insert some worldly story into the study. Please I implore you stop with the worldly interjections. They are distractions. I know they don’t mean to and think it’s a way of keeping us engaged but GODS WORD does not need help. Do you understand the spells and things being said through out those movies . There are many other ways of drawing analogies but this worldly stuff they put into the studies is really disappointing. It is not needed. For the record I’m not some elderly person, pretty young and not at all interested in having worldly movies put into my Bible Study.

No better way to start each day!. I find so much peace in my daily readings ! If a day gets off track and I actually miss a reading, I can feel it the entire day! I love the way these readings flow and speak to me on my level of understanding! Though a college graduate and educator of 33 years, I learn something in every lesson! Thank you God for placing this program in my way,! And Thank you brother, Kris Langham, for your dedication to The Word! Love, love love to listen to your thoughts on every level! This app is the most valuable one I’ve ever used! And though THE WORD is most important, God has blessed you with the gift of interpretation and made it possible for all to hear and understand much more easily than my old favorite , the KING JAMES version ever did!

Completely changed my family Bible time. My kids and I have been listening to TTW for about two years now. It has completely changed our Bible time. We’ve listened to books of the Bible that I’d previously given up on because I didn’t understand what was going on or it honestly just got too boring to stick with. But I LOVE how the audio guides can pull meaning and relevance from even the seemingly obscure chapters. My kids are young, but I know they are listening because they’ve mentioned things that Kris or the other preachers have said. It makes me so happy to hear. Thank you guys for the time each of you puts in to making this available.

Best app to learn the Bible!. For years I would try to read the Bible consistently, and every time I would quit after about 3 days because I didn’t understand or I felt like I wasn’t getting anything out of it. Now, every time after I read a chapter in the Bible I listen to the audio guide, and am given an incredible explanation and how I can live out the word in today’s society. (I’ve now read my Bible consistency for the past 6 months) My only wish is that I found this app sooner in my life! Would give 1000 stars if I could. PS - I love the fact that they don’t try and cherry pick or twist the scripture into fitting into their personal beliefs, as many pastors that I’ve listed to do nowadays. The stick straight to the word!

What a blessing. I remember being a little girl I mean 7 or 8 years old and opening my dads bible to try and read it but I would easily give up! I couldn’t ready a lot of words or names it was so hard to understand too! Years later I would open the Bible back up again but same thing too hard to understand too boring to keep ready too! But then I ran Into this app while doing a plan on the Bible app. It’s honestly a blessing! This app helps me understand the word of God. I just want to keep listening and reading and learning more and more. Even questions I have always had are answered through this app! Thank you so much to everyone who supports and thank you Chris for making such an amazing app so that anyone who wants to read, learn and understand the word of God can! 🙏❤️😊

Through The Word - What a great resource!. For me, Through The Word makes the Bible come alive. It is actually somewhat difficult to put into words the impact that this has made in my life. Suffice it to say that it is a very positive and enjoyable impact! It is a bit embarrassing to admit, but in truth, reading the Bible on my own seemed challenging to say least. It was often boring, not very easy to understand, and not that relatable. With sincere thanks to Kris and the gang, all of that has completely changed! Now it is unthinkable not to be in God’s Word on a daily basis. The simple fact that a very positive habit has been formed means that I now have an excellent resource to find answers to the challenges and questions of life from the best possible resource, the Bible.

Such a convenient way to read the Bible of truth. I love how convenient Through the Word is, and recording voice messages allows me to save time speaking my thoughts. I love the ability to start a plan with friends, even though none of my friends are Christian its a great way to open the floor with them. Quickly I realized I would love a way for the verse to highlight or show what verse is being spoken when listening to the audio. When reading along I lose track of what verse the audio is on and takes me about 2 minutes of scanning the chapter to find the part its reading. Other than that I really enjoy this app

Starting over. I grew up in a Christian household, I went to church every Sunday, but I never really understood the meaning behind what I was doing. When I left for college, I stopped going to church and 15 years later I found myself feeling like something was missing in my life. God was calling me back. When I was looking for a path back I found TTW on an app that had short bible studies. The one I picked was essentially a week long Intro to Jesus. It was the first time I ever understood the meaning behind what I was reading with so much clarity that I could apply it to life. When I finished that week, I went searching for more from TTW and found this app. I’m on the 5th section of the Bible Journey now and loving it. I finally feel like I understand the Bible, the messages behind it and all the greatness God has in store.

Great content, app needs work. Update: I did get a response on how to get a new password so I am back in the app, but it appears I have lost about about two months or more of my reading progress. I have sent another request for help in getting my app back to where I actually left off before I was kicked out. Still frustrated, but at least I can log back in. I love the different reading plans and the teaching that goes with each one. BUT, I have now been logged out of the app with no way to get back into my account. It won’t accept my email and password. There is no option to reset your password like every other app. This is now the second time this has happened to me. I really don’t want to have to start the plans again for a third time. I have tried to get help getting back into my account and I get no response at all.

Already but not yet ❤️. I’ve been daily been going chapter by chapter through the Bible growing in my faith because of this app. There is the 8ish minute audio file teaching on each chapter and the word itself, along with an area to journal and note take. A word of caution the actual tech/user interface is not great. But it’s not some big budget/well funded/ large corporate app. It’s almost like walking into a mom and pop restaurant that can’t accommodate your every specific need but the owners do love you. The audio recording are heartfelt and really powerful. Forget the bells and whistles of a pretty and perfect act. Our messiah was not pretty and perfect, and although we can demand excellence as Christians it is important to see the excellent heart in this app more than the average tech interface. I Love TTWs!!

Amazing Content- A request.... I have just downloaded this app an I’m on the 1st Journey and I love it, I’ve been doing 4 or so “days” everyday since they’re each only like 10-15mins with the reading. That being said I do have one dislike- I like the concept of “podcast” style sessions but I am not an auditory learner. I love having the Bible text to follow along but if there was a transcript of the audio guides that would be amazing. It would also help make the app more accessible for those who are hard of hearing. Other than that, this app is very user-friendly and great for new believers. But as someone who has been a Christian for many years I love this app- I think anyone can find something good in this regardless of where they are on their faith journey.

Why I Love the Through the Word App. Hi, My name is Bill Van Kley. I live in Dyer, Indiana and have been a Christian for since age 19, about 55 + years ago. I’m 75 now. My life was pretty great until age 60. I then suffered a “widow maker” heart attack, and recovered, got worse, etc. the next 15 years. Through that time, I had 4 major open heart surgeries, that last one being a heart transplant in 2021. I wouldn’t change a thing! I’ve been more blessed because of my difficulties. I definitely thank God for everything. I stumbled on your app about 4 months ago, and really appreciated the 10 minute excellent commentary before reading the chapter. Even though I’ve read through the Bible 4 times, I’m getting more out of your app with every chapter I read. Thank you for your work. It’s really a great way to study. It pushes me to study even more. I feel like a salesman for the app. I’ve probably told about 25 people about the app, and convinced then to try it. (Actually God did, I was just the spokesman. Thank you again, you’ve done very Godly & helpful work. God Bless you.

Hooked on this app! - Please make a dark mode. I’ve been a believer my whole life, but never a consistent church goer or Bible reader. I didn’t grow up with it, so the habit has always been hard to develop. I’ve started so many Bible plans and never finished because I’m either overwhelmed or turned off by the strong opinions of whoever is writing the devotional. This is exactly what I’ve always needed. Straight forward Bible information in easy to understand doses. I’m totally hooked on it! My biggest issue right now is that there is no option for a dark mode. I like to listen/read at night in bed and the white screen is overwhelming. I would love for you guys to put out an update with a dark mode option. That would help tremendously! Thank you so much for this wonderful app!

This app has been life-changing. Throughout my life I have attended church off and on. I have been through times in my life where I questioned God and my faith. Recently, I was hit with overwhelming stress and anxiety to the point I could not sit still in my own house. I could not sleep and I stopped eating. I turned to the Word of God for answers. I found a bunch of Through the Word Bible Plans through my You-Version Bible App. Everything I had a questions for was answered through the TTW teachings and my renewed faith in God. This TTW app and You-Version Bible app changed my life by helping me seek the Word of God. I encourage you all to try this app! It will renew your faith like it did mines! All Glory goes to God the Father and Jesus the Son! Be blessed!

I rate you five stars. Everything is fantastic although I have had a slight issue with Jeremiah chapter 4 it gets to verse 28 and he’s mid sentence pastor Sandy Adams and he talks about verse 28 and then it gives you the music to where it’s running into a different chapter he didn’t finish or was it able to finish for chapter 4 in Jeremiah I don’t know if maybe that’s my phone or if that was an accident just other than that my husband and I love to listen to this. I listen to it more than he does. It’s something that I’m able to listen to while I’m getting ready for work in the morning, so thank you thank you thank you for the word rate you five stars

Game changer. I have always kept The Bible at arms length because I didn’t really understand it. That’s a tough one for an English teacher to admit but true nonetheless. My brother would post on Facebook all he was learning from Through The Word. I was being called back to God a few years ago and felt God telling me to read his word. I decided to give through the word a chance. It was a game changer and has brought me so much closer to My Father. I started reading one chapter a day starting in Genesis. It has been over a year and a half and I am just finishing up Galatians in the New Testament. This app is amazing and it’s part of my daily life. I can only imagine what I will understand the second time around. Thank you for watering seeds!

Simply the best. I found out about this app through the YouVersion bible app. I was reading Revelations and found it way to confusing, so I looked to see if there was a plan explaining what I was reading. This is when I was introduced to Pastor Kris and later on tho Jonathon and the others. I found it so refreshing that I downloaded the app to help me navigate through the bible. This I think is my 2 full year using it and I am totally happy. I have shared this app with so many because I feel as though it could help others get closer to God and knowing what he wants of us. Great app!! I use it every day!. I love this app so much it has become a regular part of my devotions every day! I discovered the devotions on the Bible app and decided to check it out. I have not been disappointed! I love working my way through the Bible one chapter at a time. It’s been a great change from the standard read through the Bible in chronological order or book order. I have grown to love each pastors’ teaching style. I wasn’t sure about that at first, but they each bring a new perspective. I also love the journeys. I’m on #6 and have enjoyed the topical groupings of each one. Absolutely love starting my day this way and I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone who longs to spend some quality learning time in the word!

A closer walk with God, finally. I have been a Christian since 16 years old I’m 54 now and I’ve gone to church I have some song in the choir I did Bible study but I always had a hard time understanding what was going on in the Bible I even got an app that played the Bible because I have ADD and dyslexia that didn’t work either but with through the word I’m on able to understand what’s going on and it’s made me closer to God it’s made me want to live for God 2021 what is the worst year my health was bad and kept saying to get worse.I suffer from chronic migraines which does not allow me to work anymore I was a registered nurse the more I listen to TTW The more I wanted to get to know God I’ve gone back to church I’m going to volunteer in 2022 because I’m getting better 2022. Just 10 minutes a day!. The “Through The Word” App was recommended to me by a church friend that recently completed entire Bible using it. I’ve been using it daily for over two months and tremendously enjoy the interesting and fun commentary one chapter at a time. The 10 minute length is just perfect, long enough to get some solid learning and short enough to even make me wish it wasn’t over yet. I even started a bible study using this app. We picked a journey and made a schedule. We’re doing one chapter a day five days a week with the weekend left for catch up. We have a chat thread we’re we share our daily thoughts on each chapter and we’re meeting once a week (via Zoom!) to discuss our thoughts. Thanks “Through The Word” App!!!

Amazing for really understanding the Bible. I have a different App for my Bible and happened to stumble upon a Through The Word study of Ruth. I LOVED IT!!! It was a perfect mix of old and New Testament with the history of the book of Ruth throughout in just 10 minutes, chapter by chapter each day, then after the study guide, you read the chapter for yourself. It was amazing how much the Bible came to life. I’ve been doing those studies for MONTHS and juuust saw the link for the Through The Word App yesterday. I am literally jumping with excitement that y’all have an App. THANK YOU for helping me delve deep into the Word of God and bring it to life, as God meant for the word to be…LIFE AND LIGHT TO ALL WHO HEAR IT, READ IT, AND OBEY IT :) Lord, help me to live, live, and obey Your word!!!!

Wow!!. I have been going through Pastor Chris’s Bible book reviews on the YouVersion Bible app for the last 6 months, and love them. I have been a Christian my whole life, but have struggled at times to understand parts of the Bible. Chris humbly and thoughtfully reals down each chapter and verse, and brings much greater depth and understanding. He has a very engaging voice and cadence, and I love the audio guides so much more than reading devotionals after the scripture. While they are meant to be a chapter a day, I often find myself so engrossed that I go through a week in one morning. Now that I have the app, the experience is even better, so I will be using it every day. Thank you Chris for everything you are doing to spread the Word!!

Melanie Herlbut. My friend and I have used TTW for the past 3 years to read through the Bible for understanding. Finding the app was exciting and a breath of fresh air! Of course, the different teaching styles and teachers are not always perfect but we have gained so much information and understanding about God’s Holy Word. Currently in the book of Joel working our way through the OT. Sadly, Melanie’s teaching style leaves much to be desired. Feel like she’s reading a story to a child rather than teaching incredible truths about this book and the Bible. After we finish Joel, we will probably just go to other resources to read through the books taught by Melanie H. In our opinion, she is not a beneficial addition to your team. I hope this review is taken seriously. I love TTW and recommend it to many people. However, with Melanie as a teacher, I will only recommend TTW with a grain of salt. Sincerely, Julia Jones

Thank God!. This app allows one to easily gain a true understanding of the Bible. Since the chapters are presented one at a time, it can easily fit into your daily schedule. Pastor Kris has a gift for explaining a chapter and describing how it relates to the world today, or is connected to another part of the Bible. Before TTW, I had great difficulty in understanding. His sense of humor is also a nice touch. Pastor Kris is real. With his scientific background, he presents technical accuracy. Much appreciated! Without a doubt, this is the absolute best app I’ve ever had and not only improves my daily life, but it helps me to have more patience and kindness with others. No ads, no nonsense, it’s very organized, detailed, and easy to follow. If you want to change your life for the better, start with TTW!

Please add the books of 1st and 2nd Samuel to YouVersion!!. We are going through the entire Bible using YouVersion Bible app and doing Thtough The Word plans and have hit a snag with 1st and 2nd Samuel, although we see them in your TTW app, we need them added to the YouVersion app, it keeps track of our daily, weekly, monthly, yearly Bible streak, so missing a day will end our streak! 😢🥺 so unfortunately will have to choose a non TTW plan in YouVersion to cover 1st and 2nd Samuel to keep our streak from ending. We also have added a small group of YouVersion friends and family who are doing the daily reading through the Bible with us in YouVersion. Why are so many of the TTW Bible books missing in YouVersion, but exist in your TTW app? We prefer using the TTW plans as we like the preaching/teaching!

Love love love this app. My husband and I absolutely love this app. We have been listening for about four years now and this is how we start our day. One thing I would love to see or hear is in the very beginning of each book where you do the introduction give information on who wrote it when the reasoning behind it the same type of information you find in the written Bible in the introduction if that makes sense. Right now we go to the written Bible first and read that introduction and then start the new book because the way it’s currently done you listen to chapter 1 twice but I would highly recommend this app to anyone your new believer or you’ve been a believer your whole life all of the teachers are amazing.

Love these guides but…. These audio guides have became a part of my daily routine. Chris is amazing at getting a point across that is both entertaining and informative. I’ve have several “ahaaa!” Moments while listening to him. The one criticism i can add to hopefully help is that they need to add a complete button to the daily guides on iOS. Maybe even a “you’ve completed a daily lesson!” Prompt when you finish similar to the Bible app plans. Swiping back down to exit the daily guide feels counterintuitive and leaves the feeling of incompletion. That being said, I love what you guys are doing so keep it up and may god bless your ministry in the years to come!

Love this app!. I found this app several years ago while using YouVersion bible app. I did a study on marriage even though I've been married for three decades. I love how pastor Kris explains things and also the other pastors and friends. This app is addictive but in a good way, it makes you want to come back to it everyday to hear them explain and give their opinions and learn. I've been saved for 18 years now and have read the Bible from Genesis to Revaluation about 8 times and I have not learned as much as I have listening to this app! I have recommended it to everyone I know and meet. I have been an avid listener since the first app was launched and I love the new version as well. Reading the Bible daily is so important and there is no better way to do that than through this app! Keep up the great work!

Excited to Hear, Read and Understand the Word!. I found it very difficult to read the Bible before and always started and stopped. I am a so grateful to have found this app. I am excited by the Word and the guidance from the pastors is awesome. I now read the Bible everyday (mostly) and it keeps me wanting to read and learn more. Side note I couldn’t update the app due to owing Apple so I found the podcast and read the YouVersion Bible so I wouldn’t miss out. I finally updated the app and I start my work day with the app and Bible on my commute to work on the bus. It’s a great way to start my day. I now am excited to hear the Word and stay in it. Thank you!

Such an amazing journey!. I love this app so much - my husband and I have never done a bible study together (25 years married!), and we started this about 5 months ago - what a blessing this has been for both of us personally, and it has brought us even closer together. I recommend this app to EVERYONE!!! It’s such a short daily study, but it packs so much biblical knowledge in just about 15 minutes a day (which includes reading the chapter of the day). Pastor Kris has a true gift of explaining the Bible and making even complex topics easier to understand (ex: his Daniel discussions were awesome and really broke down difficult prophecy so that even I could get it). We are so grateful that we found this app, and we love taking this journey through the Word.

Part of my morning routine!. So thankful for the heart that the Through the Word team has poured into this app. For a couple years now, I’ve been listening to a new chapter in the car every morning after dropping my kids off at school and I look forward to it every day! The pastors are funny, articulate and easy to understand. Peyton Jones was wonderful in bringing Leviticus to life and shining the Glory of God through a book that is hard to read without the proper context. Thank you Through the Word team for following God’s call. You’ve changed my life and given me many new ways to hide God’s word in my heart so I have it with me through both joy and trials.
