Helpful!!. I recently had an issue with my account. I message them and ask them if they can fix it. They responded quickly with a clear instructions. I can’t lose my kumu account so thanks to them they fixed it in a blink. Definitely proud!! My new addiction!! #KumuLove.

Be careful. This app promotes bullying, crab mentality, ganging up on people, lying, gaslighting, not investigating an issue properly- POWER TRIPPING. Besides the fact that they take 70% of each streamer's quota dropped on their account, tons of streamers did not get paid for over a year. Wasted time and effort. This app brings out the toxic behavior in each person. It's a filipino thing right? To feel poweful, bring others down. And when the people they bullied get affected and their mental health is also affected, they GASLIGHT them. They are not sincere. They are only after everyone's money. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Loading Coins pmt. My concern is buying coins that sometimes it takes so long or sometimes it won’t let you because it keeps asking my password over and over again that it should be automatically. And there’s also a times that I can’t send gift during the streaming, not unless I have to log out and log back in. If this will be fix my overall experience is great. Thank you

Cringy streamers. As a native pinoy, sometimes this app makes it embarrassing to watch its streamers & contents. I can only take so much before leaving a live stream because of the overwhelming cringe, not to mention the constant begging for VGs from the more popular streamers or from THOC. It’s embarrassing. More reputation are given to those popular streamers because of the overwatched agencies protecting them, all the while the not-so popular streamers are ignored, or turned into “clicks” (tambay streams) with friends just to gossip amongst themselves & ignore the viewers. There’s way more better apps than this!

Kumu connects all of us. Kumu has connected me with Filipinos around the world. As a Mestizo Filipino American I’ve been able to learn more about the Filipino Diaspora, engage in people’s multicultural backgrounds and make new friends. While the time difference doesn’t always allow me to catch all the new shows I love popping in to random live-streams to say hi and see some familiar names engaging with the audience. I think Kumu is the puzzle piece that can unite the global Filipino Kumunity.

PROUD TO BE PINOY. First time ever. Livestreaming + Game Shows = KUMU! Unbelievable. I like when an app combines ideas with less complex UI. I hope you would add Season-based games. Like, when a player is out, the player would still play for points (or Kumu coins) and increase them to have free passes per question until the season ends. More power to this app!!! Let’s goooooo

Funny Stickers. Kumu will be an app that will connect and make my family in the Philippines feel closer to me in the states. I also can’t wait wait for the livestream shows!

Why I Love Kumu. I love Kumu so much. I have been able to meet amazing people and make connections with people who I would have never have thought I would be able to. I have also met some amazing friends and partners in Kumu which is amazing. I also just love how Kumu has a very good Family based community and we all support each other!

KUMU in 2022. Great app. Terrible people running the app. They’re focus is just how to make money. If you are not suggesting “what kind of campaign” should they run next then your input is useless. It’s all about campaigns and more campaigns. Also, recent updates are really useless and made the app essentially unusable at times. Mute and Camera buttons are so small now it’s so hard to click them. If you want to swipe left or right to hide chat expect that you will be swiped up or down instead and be transferred to a different stream. There’s also a bug that let’s people see you even if you turned off your camera, they just have to watch using the website on a desktop computer - anonymously. Big privacy issue. Lastly, KUMU POLICE apparently gets an incentive whenever they hit a certain number of people reported for “violating” kumunity guidelines - so expect these rude “officers” to end your stream just because they did not like your profile picture. I have never experienced anything like this in many other livestreaming apps that I have used but hey this is what separates you from the others right? Your rude employees. So if you want to start live-streaming, I suggest you do it elsewhere. 💁🏼‍♀️

KUMU IS LIFE. As soon as I open my eyes in the morning I cannot forget to check on KUMU. Met new friends here and eventually some became family. This app relax not only your body but your mind. I love KUMU.

Annoying app!. I downloaded and deleted this app many times. The only reason that I downloaded it again is to watch a family member since he joined a singing contest again. But I will never keep it because it aggressively forces you to write a review so - here is your review Once you open the app, a prompt will appear that wants you to click (I am happy or I have question). There is no way to exit so you will be forced to click one of them which took me here. This is so annoying. The app aggressively sends notification on my phone even when I set it up to not to do so.

Fake. The app is only good if you want to buy coins and give them away. They will notify you 100 times a day. When you share a tweet, they try to let you allow them to manage your Twitter. This app is invasive and dishonest. You can go live anytime and see the same 8 robots following you. They don’t throw you into the main stream. I’ve spent $200 app I deserve to have the same access as other creators. But nah this app is fake until they can fix that or change their business model stay away it’s only here to take your money and take advantage of lonely people.

KUMU IS LIFE. I have found KUMU like few weeks ago thru my friends. I was able to make an account and guurrrrl, I’m having so much fun especially with what we are experiencing right now. Best Filipino Livestreaming App. I love this app, It’s more than a live-streaming app. This app gives a platform to independent artists to showcase their talents. It also gives us a chance to connect with other people specially our love ones back home. I love the options for entertainment and content. Kumu is awesome! I love the live-streaming feature. I can see what is going on in the Philippines through another lens besides the news and teleserye. It’s great being able to meet other Filipinos and love that we have a place to feel like a community.

Too Many Notfications. I really want to love this app and so far it’s been fun. But there’s too many pointless promotional notifications that’s it’s annoying. I tried to change it in my settings but it didn’t seem to work. I don’t want to completely turn off the notifications or delete the app but it’s too much.

I LOVE KUMU. I ended up joining this app through Kumu_USA’s #streamittowinit campaign and quickly fell in love. It’s a great app with a very friendly user interface, within minutes you can find a best friend on the app’s incredibly lively and active kumu-nity! Apart from watching streams, it’s incredibly easy to start your own, within 2 clicks you’re up and streaming for your friends, family, and other users to watch and support! It’s the all in one streaming and social media platform and it shows! From chill talks to intense games shows, kumu has it all and you won’t regret downloading it!

Kumu Support. I love how their representatives handled my concerns. They were friendly, respectful. timely & professional. I specifically commend their patience in the exchange of emails with me. The instructions they gave were easy to follow, explanations were easy to undwrstand. They made sure all my needs were laid on the table and accordingly addressed.

GREAT!!!. The app overall has a great kumunity!!! Chatters are always supporting and I never had a problem with people bothering in the chat. Kumu bully moderators “KP”. After trying this app for a month, I came to conclude it does not exceed my expectation. The moderators often cut off your live stream early if “KP” does not approve of your profile coverpage. This brings me to another topic, “KP” has the power to spy on anyone on their app and they are not afraid to show it. They seem to attack live streamers they don't like by filtering the people who visit the live stream, base on bias decision of unknown individuals. Lastly, I do believe the app has the potential to do good for Filipinos around the globe.

Bad for streaming. Bad app they’ll hide your stream in the algorithm after a few days so no one can find it. If you don’t have a team you better hope you can sing or dance or your stream will be dead. They only care about Filipino celebrities and their blue check marks and bronze badges. It’s a good community app but not a good live streaming app unless you’re famous.

Great app. BUT. Please fix the app server. A lot of times, it takes time to load the live streams. And when you are a co-host sometimes you cant unmute or mute yourself and it says "can't connect to server". I have no problem with my internet connection and can load my browser fast but when it comes to opening kumu. sometimes Id rather not because it wont load. Otherwise, the experience with the community has been great! customer service so quick to respond on emails and other communication and they get the issue solved as soon as possible.

Kumu Experience. I download the app before just to play a Free Games that you will earn real money online. But days go by, i realised that Kumu is not all about game show and money, i found new Friends and earned love from other family that i met specially this time of pandemic. Kumu gives a lots of Fun enjoyment and if i missed some stream from my favorite stream, i can playback Kumu Klips (clips) from recorded livestream. RUN. My wife downloaded this app as a means of communicating with Filipinos around the world during the lockdown. Due to the design of the app and the environment, my wife is spending less and less time with her family. It's not uncommon that my wife will spend hours a day singing to people online while barely acknowledging the people at home. If I could have this app shut down I would. If you are reviewing this app for a family member. Please take my advice and do not let them get involved with this. I hate to think who else is involved with this app and ignoring their family.

Customer Service Needs Improvement. The app itself is amazing but the customer service needs a lot of improvement. They take forever to respond especially when Kumu users are requesting for something. The Kumu users will need to follow up multiple times yet they still respond late.

Great KUMUnity. I joined the app through the Filipino club at my college. I ended up joining one of their campaigns called “Stream It To Win It.” Everyone is so welcoming especially other competitors. Kumu USA always has engaging content that welcomes you whenever you go on their streams!! #marcussy #KABAatUCI

Kumu is about money. I used to like it when I first downloaded the app. In fact for the first few months, I have been dropping gifts to streamers. But after getting my first GTS level badge, I realized how money-hungry Kumu is. They release updates only to entice gifters to give more and to spend more on the app. They actually don’t care about ordinary streamers who do not drop virtual gifts. There are many complaints about delayed payments. Many good singers have stopped streaming and moved to other apps because of the many problems with kumu. Also, they do not have transparency about GTS levels, GTS members are left wondering how close or far they are to the next level. If you are still undecided whether to download kumu or not, I recommend not to! Go somewhere else!

Finally. I love this app... I don’t have annoying people that I don’t want to talk to randomly messaging me like Messenger. It’s easy to keep in contact with my friends and family back home, plus the stickers are hilarious.

Unreliable. Please make the necessary improvements to your app if you intend for your platform to be used by high number of users at a given point in time. Responsiveness of the app is critical considering people’s money is involved. You are able take our money in real time, so why can’t you offer the same responsiveness when presenting the VG we purchased? Please act on this before your app loses credibility. You’ve definitely made me think twice to top up now.

Okay app.. Can you remove the Gameshow feature. Gameshow creates opportunities for scammers and it’s just not viable. People aren’t impressed by Gameshows. The Weekly in stream gift challenges are really where people invest time.

App is a turn off a admin banned me for no reason and I was following all community guidelines they locked my account for no reason not ever downloading this app again 1 star app for sure admins are very rude give you no time to change ur profile pic or anything one came in my live and banned my account for no reason over a fishing lure being my profile pic then locks my account saying I violated there terms of service would not bother with the app ever total waste of time

But to my dismay, Blue checks and Bronze badges does not require a streamer to be creative anymore. People can just literally “purchase” blue checks and Bronze badges - in disguise of campaigns. I am quite disappointed at how this app has become over time.

Great App to make friends and positive connections. I’ve been using this app since Late January, just to make friends. Since then I’ve made some amazing friends who encouraged me to stream! I’ve never streamed before so I was scared but now I’m obsessed! The love and support that circulates around the Kumunity is magnetic! I hope many new and current users will have the same experiences I did. It’s not hard to find the support you’d need to give streaming a try! 🤙🏽

Gaming stream. kumu is a great app, but hopefully you guys allow non-features streamers to use OBS as well because its unfair to them, i myself is a kumu user and been planning to stream my gameplays for a long time, i applied never got anything from it and then suddenly random lvl.1 streamers are blue check and streaming gameplays.

Update. We can’t see the people that we follow go live. It’s always a hit and miss please fix it.

Honest Review. I love the app and the joy it brings to those who it connects with, but its more on profit for themselves and I find it no fun that you have to purchase coins just to level up or be somebody whom others would look up on you. I find it as to pass time but on the other side a waste of your time and makes you unproductive. Better make this a profit earning for your content creator rather than a profit for yourself first. Sorry for my honest reveiw you have a good app with a bad purpose. By the way be careful in allowing kumu app to be connected to any of your social media account this was not a safe app, my friend in the US got all his banking info and his account was hacked and kumu could not do anything about it, no refund no nothing but thank you.

Store Inaccuracy. before the patch i have topped up for the 20000 dias twice and everytime is charges me almost double of the amount from $27.99 it charges me $60. Can you please help me fix this bug. I really love the app as i have lots of friends in it so if possible contact me.

It’s entertaining the first few times.. The app’s premise is great; “A place for Filipinos from all over the world to hang out online and share their talents.” 1)One of the issues begins with people “hosting” other users and essentially using them as a means to get “awards” etc. 2) Some people practically just “beg” for money, which is kind of sad but I guess a hustle is a hustle. 3) Most of the content is trash. Garbage that does not further the intellectual capacity of Filipinos. I emphasize that MOST not ALL.

Almost get scammed!. I downloaded the KuMu one time and I was happy because I miss the Philippines and feel homesick so I talk to some streamers. I was shocked becAuse after, the featured streamers demanded money thru text. So I decide to delete the app because I was worried I’m getting hack!

Poor Morale Platform. Our filipino society already has such a big gap between societal classes. This app continues that toxic separation. Streamers rely on “gifters” to give them gifts (money). My marriage has greatly been affected by this toxic platform. It makes me sad that people actually find that entertaining.

My kumu keeps going back to my homescreen. Whenever I join a live…. The apps keeps sending me back to my homescreen…. Please fix this bug… started happening when I update it… I tried to unstall and install again did not work…

The notification is annoying! Its too much!. I turn off the notification for almost everything and still giving me bunch of notifications every minute im deleting it
