Platform could be better. Really like the amount of information the platform provides, the chat framework and schedule as well as the ability to switch from different teams when you have multiple children. It’s quite easy and intuitive. What I don’t like is the amount of pop up ads it has and how sometimes it won’t let you proceed unless you watch a commercial. I find that very intrusive and distracting.

Great app!. Our team switched from GroupMe to Heja and I’ve enjoyed using this app. May it be from the schedule tab, to the news feed with separate team chat and attendance. Things I would love to see added to this app are: •The ability to add images (like screenshots of the game schedule, field maps etc) to the schedule tab events •GIFs in chats would be fun, too! I give it 4 out of 5 because I don’t enjoy the adds in the news feed. Would be willing to buy the app for a few $ (no subscriptions!).

A mom with multiples DREAM come true!. Keeps communication efficient! Keeps information for both of my children in one place at a tap of a button! With them being in 2 different age groups but on the same team, it’s hard to juggle information! But the app has done all the work for me! Everything is organized and easy to access for both children even when info is completely different! App has been a life changer! Notifications come in real time, oppose to other apps that sometimes alerted me hours after the info was posted! Thnx Heja app!

DO NOT EVER CHANGE EMAIL! APP WILL NEVER LOAD AGAIN ON YOUR PHONE!. Do not ever try to change your email on the app! I have tried EVERYTHING and the app will not load on my phone anymore! I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling, closing all my tabs, clearing my history, shutting my phone down, EVERYTHING! I have plenty of storage on my phone and my phone is also brand new so nothing is out of date. My child is on a travel team and this app is the ONLY WAY WE COMMUNICATE! I have been in contact with Sara on here and it’s almost been ONE WEEK and nothing is fixed! There is no phone number to call so all communication is done via email. They do not respond on weekends and if you get a response on the weekday, it’s only once per day! UNACCEPTABLE!!

Makes coaching easier.. I e been coaching for ten years now. This is one of the best apps I have ever used. I don’t really have any complains that I can think of right now. All my parents love using the app and they agree with it being the best. Helps keep me organized, helps keeps my team updated with what is going on ect. It’s good.

Amazing!. I have used the app for many years and has worked amazingly overall. It is so amazing to have an app that you can share your schedule with your teammates! It is very useful and I love that anyone can post and everything is organized well. Heja has helped my teammates and I keep up to date and make sure no one is late to upcoming events. I love it so much!

Chat option could use work. The overall functionality works for mass alerts and makes it easy to keep updated. My one complaint is the private message/chat service. After a few messages, you can no longer scroll up to see the previous comments or questions which makes it necessary to create more messages. Would like to see an update that allows you to review previous reply’s in the chat function.

Great app for organizing your team.. Heja allows to you manage 1 or multiple teams. It allows you to create automated schedules and events that go out to your team instantly. Members simply click “Going” or “Not Going” to all events. Also members can post updates, ask questions, and talk to each other via the team chat feature. It cuts out the need for managers to call, text, or manage text messaging groups. If you opt for the paid features, it kills the ads and lets you take payments. Definitely worth implementing for team managers.

Great app, room for improvement. Very nice app for communication and scheduling for teams. I would definitely recommend it. It would be nice to have a photo album button to easily access photos/videos that were shared the team on the main timeline. When sharing/posting, include an option to copy the photo/video to team photo album. Would also be nice to be able to input player jersey numbers for each player profile.

Baseball Team. We use this app for baseball. Love that you can communicate, schedule and do videos in same app. I do wish the videos could be longer than five minutes and that you could upload more than one at a time. Rarely is an inning or a practice segment shorter than five minutes so it makes the videos kind of choppy and it takes a while to cut all the videos to less than five minutes and upload one at a time.

We love Heja. I have used other communication apps for various sports. This one bar surpasses all of them. I have been a parent and also a manager using this app. I love the scheduling, the reminders, and the ability to share information in the announcements. The only thing that I haven’t done is used it to collect fees.

Great App for Team Management and Communication!. Our organization has been using this app for two years now and we really like it! It’s nice that you can chat with the whole team and schedule everything in one place. And you have the ability to have private conversations also.

Heja is awesome!!. Heja is super great! I’m apart of the high school cross country team and heja is super helpful. My coaches are able to send out posts about workouts we have for practices and updates about upcoming meets and events. It is also super awesome because team mates can contact coaches without having to get their personal cell phone number or email. I’ve been using it for about a year and don’t have a single complaint.

Awesome, easy solution!. This app is a perfect solution for scheduling our weekly pick up games. So much better than sending a bunch of emails! Totally automated and simplifying with ability to schedule and it’s automatic reminders. The whole team likes it and quickly picked up on it due to the ease of use. If you’re a little league coach, big league coach or trying to schedule pick up games don’t hesitate get this now!

Love love love it. I only have positive things to say about this app. Heja thought of everything. At the beginning of the season, I used the Home page to post reminders and forward emails I received from the region. Now, parents use it to post pics from practices and soon games. And I love that you can monitor how many of the team has seen and responded to each post. The schedule feature is AMAZING. I added every practice session, created events only for Team Managers and Coaches, and will soon add the game schedule. I can easily track who is attending and missing a practice so I can prepare accordingly. The app sends everyone, including me as the Admin, a reminder two hours before an event begins. Wonderful! Registering was a breeze. Setting up the team page and inviting my team to join was easy too. No problems!! I was also able to assign which parents have Admin access. So simple! Lastly, when I did my research, Heja made it known that our privacy is their priority. They really thought of everything!

Heja is such a great app for sports, clubs, and almost any organization!!!. when i tell u that heja has solved so much confusion and attendance problems for my sports teams at school, I AM NOT JOKING. i love all the features on this app, everything makes it so much clearer to see what the schedules, games, practices, and important messages. 10/10, would recommend for any team, club, etc.

Amazing. This app does everything I need it to do and more! I no longer have to worry about missing out on something team related. It is always updated with newest info from coaches. If I have a question I can easily contact the coaches through the app and do what I need to do. It even allows me to update if I’m going to be at practices and games and stuff like that so I don’t have to worry about the coaches wondering if I’m there or not. It’s a great app and I would 10/10 recommend to my friends.

Nice app but parents have trouble using. The app is great! I love that I can accept fees on the app using the pro addition. However, parents have had trouble with getting accurate information on the schedule. Seems like you have to go in and manaually update the app every week or so. Wish that it updated or refreshed itself more frequently so that information is accurate. Other than that great app.

Please expand to general clubs. We loved this app as a member of a sports team, but we would love to use it as a member of our school club. We just need the ability to tweak some of the titles. We don't have coaches and such. Would love it if this app could be expanded to clubs like ours just by making some of the wording flexible. I know nothing is simple when it comes to programming but I hope you will consider it. You might get more downloads. Thanks!

An effective app in a simple package.. Say goodbye to the monotony of sending countless texts and say hello to Heja! Heja lets you send group or private messages, create team schedules, share photos and videos, manage information. In my experience as a team coach and league coordinator, a team management app is rendered useless if only half your team is using it. Luckily, the good people at Heja have made inviting, adding, and editing members as easy as 1..2..3. Once set up, this app will give you the option to invite members using convenient communication methods including text message, Facebook, and/or email. Currently, I am managing 3 separate teams without complications or confusion. The app itself works seamlessly and I’ve yet to see any issues as far a “bugs” go. The developers packed the app with helpful features any team manager will find useful without overwhelming it with bells and whistles. In short, this app is everything you need, nothing you don’t. In conclusion, this app feels like whoever created trulydid his or her homework. It suits my every needs as a team management and will replace all previously downloaded (inferior) competitors.

Well organized - great app!. I have been using this app for two years now and have created 12 Heja teams due to high school and club teams I run. Overall this app does it all… keeps me well organized and everyone on the same page. You can easily post updates, everyone can post pictures and videos that were taken, the schedule option is easy to update/ change/ add notes… players can add attending or not which is perfect for me as a coach to keep track of they also added an option where athletes can add a note so you can go back anytime and see why they missed that event … you can create group chats and one of my favorite parts (since club tends to bring new people all the time) it’s nice to be able to see which parent is for which child. Overall 10/10 recommend! Some ideas to add in the future (some of these could be in the paid version, sorry if they are) - once you cancel a game I wish you could go back and un-cancel (or at least be able to delete it, after it’s canceled) it instead of having to recreate the event or have a “postpone” option so that you can go back and update the new date once we have it - on the teams tab when you see all your teams I wish you could create folders maybe to organize the teams… like I said I have 12 Heja teams 7 are inactive now as the season has passed but I still like have access to those accounts… for conversations, pictures, and contact info… then I have 2 active school teams at the moment and 3 active club teams at the moment so it would be nice to be able to organize them some how. - instead of only have game, tournament, practice it should be a mini drop down of other things such as team/ parent meeting… or team bonding, banquet, etc - I have a few more ideas but I remember them right now… I’ll add as I remember them. Overall GREAT app I’m so glad I found it, I use it for my school sports got other coaches at my school to use it and now it’s out club wide platform! Everyone LOVES it

Best app for communications with parents. This app has saved me a lot of time and many headaches. It is free to use, but there is also a paid version. The free version allows you to set a schedule for practices and games with attendance tracking and reminders, a team chat, private chats, uploading files, and other useful features. It is fairly easy to use, and has a short learning curve. I have used this app for two years. I recommend it

Lovely app! Especially for Sports. Before I used Remind, and it was decent until it just stopped working and my coach switched us to Heja, and when I tell you we’re impressed by the amount of new things on here like the rewards/discount system and the fact you can see who views the posts. Very great!

Heja Team App. I have been using the app for about a month now and it has worked great to communicate with varsity and junior varsity team members. It is easy to use whole group but also it is easy message a single athlete or group of players . The add picture tab also come in handy to send pictures of schedules or action shots that parents may want to share with everyone.

Disappointed. I checked out the app and was super impressed. I created the first team and was so excited I immediately signed up for the pro version as I do need multiple admins for the group and you need the pro version for that ($12 a month). Great. Done. Still excited. Finally - the perfect app for my needs. I’ve been looking for one for ages. I then created the second team (different age group for the same sport club) only to find that to get all the features for that team (multiple admins etc) I had to sign up for the pro-version again. ANOTHER $12 a month. I have several teams (6 or 7) for the same sport club. I can’t possibly subscribe to the pro version for each group. I assumed that the pro version would cover all the teams. I am terribly disappointed as I now have to go and delete the second group as it is useless without the extra features.

Very useful app. I was on my volleyball team and there was a lot of miscommunication because we didn’t use heja and we used normal messages but because our coach wasn’t aloud to give her phone number out to the whole team she only gave it to the captains and that caused confusion but, now being on the basketball team we use heja and it’s very easy to see rescheduling and easy to communicate with teammates and coaches

Great app originally. About a year ago the app was used for our soccer team. It obviously had some limitations but we figured out how to utilize it as best as possible. Now with the added Ads on Crazy Mode it’s annoying. I click through and full screen timed Ad. Yes, developers need to try and make money, but the subtle ads while scrolling isn’t as bad as full screen ones. Push notifications are random - they work and they don’t sometimes. Yes the App is up to date, yes I’ve reinstalled it, yes I’ve signed in and out. But while gathered with other users in the same team, the same message is delayed and missed on multiple occasions. Premium - This option should be available for the Administrator to purchase and Add parents/players into a paid Premium account. Why should 1 players parents pay premium twice just to stay updated with schedules and changes.

Pretty good!. Heja is a easy way to communicate with your team and coach’s. It was very helpful to know this stuff and easy to get to my games and practices on time. It was easy for me to contact my coach’s through Heja without having to get their number. Heja is amazing and I would definitely recommend getting this if you’re a player,coach,or a parent!

Love HEJA!!. As a director of a travel basketball program this app has been really easy to keep teams separate and organized. I would like the ability to communicate with people through messages on the desktop version. I’d also like to see the chat tab be more user friendly with a search option at the top as I communicate a lot here and messages seem harder to find at times. Great app and I will continue to use it for my teams!!

Almost Perfect. Has everything you’d need to communicate to your team. Events like practices and games. Their times and locations. Your team has the ability to let you know if they can make it or not and leave a reason. They can notify if they need a ride, will be arriving late or even early. All these items are viewable by the rest of the team so everyone is in the loop. My favorite feature is being able to remind people to say if they’re attending an activity or not and the app sends a notification to their phone asking them. The only thing I’d add is being able to assign positions and share lineups before games. But other than that it’s awesome and such a big help. 100% worth the money.

Perfect team app!. Hate those annoying group texts? This is the perfect app. It’s very organized and you will only get notifications if someone posts to the team page. For example the coach may post that practice for today is canceled. Then you won’t get notifications for every little comment or “like”. You can post the schedule as well. Love it!

The BEST team sports app. Easy to use and set up in minutes. I’m a baseball coach that has used it for a college team, a travel team, and a youth team. A great resource for team communication and helps keep everything organized. See who is attending and plan ahead. Also allows one on one or group chat, as well as your very own home feed where you can post links and updates.

Pretty good app for team communication. It would be nice if coach and admin could both control the schedule without paying for the pro version. For coaches who often make pennies for their time coaching youth sports the cost is kind of high. Our soccer league has a calendar you can automatically subscribe to, wish we could integrate that link into the Heja app so every game and game change wouldn’t have to be manually input. Also it would be nice if the directions would link straight from your calendar (google, iCal etc) without having to open the app to then get the address and directions

I love this app. Let me start by saying this is the best sport schedule app I have ever used!! You can have everything on this is shows a clear schedule with the time, date, and place you can make a group chat and you can privately message anyone else in your team group and when is shows you your upcoming activities you can say if your going or not I will always use this for a scheduling app!!!

Amazing for sports. I love being able to talk to everyone in my team and also the coaches, it's also so easy to create a schedule and be able to prepare in advice to see who will be there. It is also easy to balance two or more different teams on this app. This is why I believe it is amazing for any sport that you do!!

Great apps but several flaws. There are several issues that make the app difficult to use. Sometimes the support people respond and sometimes they do not. I believe there is a language barrier and they do not understand how certain coaches and teams operate in America. 1. It is very time consuming to input your entire year schedule because you have to input each date manually if the practice or day of the week changes. If you want to input March practices and games, and if you are in August, the scrolling mechanism will start in August and you have to scroll all the way to March and then scroll the date. 2. They do not have a To Be Announced Feature (TBA) if the time of your event has not been determined..the App forces you to input a time. This has been confusing for my teams. 3. Photos or video you upload are very grainy. I thought I would be able to send photos to my teams but because of the poor quality, I just send them photo to let them know I am sending the photos or videos via emails. 4. It takes a long time to download a video. 5. If you want to send a message or change from the Roster to the schedule, you have to close out of the app to (refresh) to find the message board or for the most current information (who has received your messages) to appear. 6. So why use the app?...Once the schedule is posted it looks great and is easy to make adjustments. You can easily see who on your team has received your messages and who has not. You can send out quick reminders. You can easily directly contact a team member. This has been invaluable. Well worth the before mentioned challenges with the App.

App is Ok. App is ok, do not pay for Pro plan. I started free trial in order to use web interface from my desktop so that I could upload pictures and videos off of my DSLR. You do not have access to any of the messages or sub chats and must upload them to the main team chat. This is ok i guess however after I put in CC info to gain access to this, there is no way to cancel or remove the subscription, I find it really ridiculous that you have to pay for desktop access and it gives you less access than free phone app, so in order to do what I want to do I have to email items from my desktop to my phone download them on my phone the post them to Heja not very efficient.

Pretty good. It works amazing for my team! I love the calendar and how you can sync it to your own, the team picture you can add, and the posts page. The app has some quirks and Bugs out sometimes but overall great app! We have been using it for 2 years.* UPDATE *I have been on this app for many years and it has been amazing. I am extremely upset with the update. The syncing to my calendar was the best part of the app and we have to pay now and it is SO EXPENSIVE. I will be switching apps due to this. I will miss this app. Y’all made a mistake and lost my team’s support from this. We were planning on using it for years to come. The pro option is not going to happen with my team at that price.*UPDATE PART 2* They fixed it and now me and my team are extremely happy. The calendar sync is now free! My favorite app for my team and I love the notifications! Thank you Heja! Love you guys and your app!

Does what it is intended for!. I like the ease of use and the quick notifications. I have had no problem with the app besides one time freezing, but my phone did that kind of thing before installing this app. If the organizer puts all the schedule info into the app then it seems it would be very productive but our coach has not yet used this feature. I can not rate the fifth star only because I have not seen the feature of the scheduler, by no fault from this app maker. Otherwise Great Job!

Like overall, but gets confusing.... It would be great if this app would refresh correctly, constantly says I have a new notification but I can’t figure out what they are, and then the notifications never go away once I’ve read over all I can. and it needs to show the last several comments all at once so you have context to comments. Usually I have to go back and re-read all the comments to make sense of it. Handy but could be better on the details.

Love it! Missing some features. We just started using this app for our HS cheer team & we all love it. It works so well to organize everything in one spot - scheduling/attendance, messaging, videos, file sharing - it gets the job done while being fun to use. Some things we would add/change is a way to keep track of different kinds absences - some let us know months in advance and some are “unexcused” and we had no notice of it. It’s amazing to see the percentages of each member’s attendance, but nothing is factored in. Another small thing is to see everyone’s birthdays, either on the schedule or even get a notification on the day. Love that they can add to their profile, but have to go to each member’s to see when it is. If there’s a way to get different views of the schedule - not just in list form - I, personally, would benefit greatly from that. It’s a great app! Definitely recommend.

I wish there was a way to remove ads for players. 1. As a coach, I would be happy to pay on behalf of my players so I can remove ads for them. Some of them might not have much money and they are stuck with the ads. This is a big missing feature. The app should offer a subscription tier that removes ads for the entire team, not just for the coach. 2. Today the app is freezing up when starting with the wait circle spinning forever. So I cannot communicate with the team. I am hoping this is a temporary glitch. I have contacted tech support to make Heja aware. Otherwise besides these two issues, the app has been great. It has the essential features for coaching a youth team and is very user friendly. Overall excellent but with these two major gaps = 3 stars.

So far so good. Sports team has been looking (for years) for a good, FREE, option for team and schedule management. Being a self-sponsored team, TeamSnap just isn’t a good option as that would increase team fees. Used an online team manager, which was difficult to use with poor organization and notifications. So far, Heja is working well for our purposes. Some improvements that would be awesome for us are 1) ability to upload non-picture or video files, such as word documents or spreadsheets (for team documents like registration, waivers, etc) 2) ability to edit your own posts 3) admin abilities: to pin posts to the top of the page, to merge posts At this point, we do still have to use Facebook and/or Google docs for these purposes, which means we still have team info in multiple different places... but it’s a start!

Why this is a great app!!. i cannot believe i didn’t have this app before!! this is a great app and i used it for my rec volleyball season. i had a great time using this. there’s a team chat, a way to say if you are going to the event or not, and you can post pictures and videos and react to comments or captions! this is a great app and would highly recommend it!💜

Amazing app!!. This app is really good for my daughter she loves it and it makes it easier to communicate with her team. I can see all of her messages she sends on this app. It’s also really good for her because she has a limit on people to add to her contacts (so she can’t add anyone unless I type in a passcode) so that saves me extra time and it’s js so much easier. The only thing however that I don’t like is the adverts… it’s not that they are bad it’s that they pop up at random times and sometimes when you are trying to say you are going to be late. Otherwise this app is perfect I definitely recommend it.

Most good but one big problem. I have no problem with the app needing adds to support it, however there doesn’t seem to be any kind of screening for the quality of adds. There are sexually suggestive adds being shown to my young students. I wish Heja put protections into their add program like they do their other safety features

Love it!. I don’t normally write reviews but this makes communication so easy! Let’s not talk about how simple it is to fundraise… I’m talking a click of a button!! You can schedule activities as well and the team will get notifications to remind them over everything! You can track who’s viewed your post as well. I highly recommend Heja! Mind you… I have the free version.

Great Team App. Coaches and parents love the app. It’s more organized than group text. The schedule shows exactly when, where and what time we have games, practices, tournaments, etc. Reminders are sent out multiples times the day before and day of the activity. Just do it. Parents were resist at first but once they logged in they love it! You can also have messages between coaches and admin, team chat, and then private messages if needed.

Good for the team. This is amazing 🤩 it works very good 😌 and so I’m happy about that I love it because every one on the team and their parents can see what’s going on this. This tells you every thing you need as long as your coach put up what is happening all so I love it you can also be on two teams on it this is the best you can get for you or your team 😀😌😍 I’m in love with it

Heja is great! But needs a few fixes!. Heja is a great app! But I needs a few updates. When I was sending a video for my team to see it took about 2 hours! That’s was really long and frustrating! But everything but that was amazing! I love chatting with my team and it’s perfect for sending announcements! For example I don’t have all of my teams phone numbers, but on Heja I do I can send everyone messages! After all Heja is a great app!

Luke. Such a great platform for communication that is specific to the team. Also takes away the distraction and frustration of WhatsApp team groups where there is always certain members that always have great intentions although post comments that are often secondary to the primary focus of how to communicate the core information required to know what is happening when and where and if you can’t attend. Well done 👌

Great app. This app works really well, please add the ability to specify a court number in the location field and i would not have anything to complain about at all!!!

In all, a great app for sporting teams.. Have used this app for Rep basketball (Keysborough Cougars) and it was great. Easy to set up trainings and games, communicate with players and parents, along with club information sharing, and tracking attendances each week. Only issue I have noticed that is sometimes says you have unread messages even after you have read them multiple times. Other than that, no real issues. Highly recommended for any individual team, club or association.

100% recommend. A fantastic platform for managing team communications. Easy to see who has seen messages, who is coming to sessions or training and keeping track of game results. 100% recommend.

Easy to use. 4th year using Heja and I love it. So easy to navigate. Scheduling is fantastic - able to see who was/wasn’t attending training and games. Eliminated the hassle of texting multiple people the same information. Highly recommend

Great for all sports mums. We have this for 3 different clubs and it’s a great way to stay on top of training, matches and comps. I upgraded so I can see all the groups together on one calendar but I used this for 3 years on standard with great results. Saves emails and sms. Great app

It’s strength is in its simplicity. I have tried many Team Management apps over the years & while most are good & have many features, Heja’s strength is its simplicity. It is very easy to set up, has the necessities to manage multiple Teams. I found that not all people are tech savvy, so setting up & getting players & parents using this app was just so easy. We had been using a closed Facebook page to manage our Team previously & I & some others wanted to move away from Facebook, we have found that moving to Heja was seamless. There is support from right in the app through the messages function, which I’ve used & considering the time zone (Sweden), have got back to me in a timely manner & were very helpful. I like how you can see who have viewed posts, Games etc, & with 1 tap you can send reminders out to those who either haven’t responded or haven’t seen an item. We have not had any trouble with reliability which is essential. The only small problem we have had is if someone has their text size settings set too large on their phone this can obscure/overlap some of the text on the app. Dialling back the text size in the iOS settings fixed this. Thanks Heja!

Screen doesn’t move up to write in addition information box. Since the last update, when I try to schedule an activity, it all goes well until I go to write in additional information. The screen does not move up to allow me to see what I’m writing as the keyboard covers it. It used to. When I clicked on the additional info box, the whole lot moved up so I could see the additional info box in full. It’s a real pain because I have to keep swiping the keyboard down to check what I’ve written and that I’m getting it right. Please fix ASAP. Very frustrating.

Buggy of late. Running latest iOS on iPhone 14pro and latest app version - for about the past 2-3 weeks messages stay as “new” with the badge app icon not disappearing when you read a thread. Changing between teams if you have more than one child is clunky too, it’d be great if you could have a summary screen with all teams / kids updates that you could reply to messages on without going in to one team or the other too.

Heja. Heja is a really good app for those who can’t connect with sporting teams via social media. It is a good as you can text privately as well as to your entire group. The only thing I don’t like about it is that if you do not own a phone (I know people are still like that) or your parents don’t own a phone you would be left out. I know the last point can’t really be changed but...

Always busy. I love this app! Communicating all things sport with the team is so easy. The seen feature is great and lets you know if anyone has missed the message. So simple to use and so effective at communicating to everyone in the team.

Simple and convenient. Having used several other similar products to Heja I’ve found it the simplest to navigate and use and the most convenient in the time needed to reply to a message and to confirm trainings etc

Collaborative Sports Management App. Heja supports EffectIve Management of a Sports Team. This app is Simple to Navigate and Effective to use; to schedule trainings sessions and game times plus communicate with all parties involved in the Team, including Coaches, Managers, Parents and Players.

Junior team manager/ coach. This product makes it so much clearer and easier to communicate with the team in real time without heaps of groups and text streams. The only thing I’d like to add is an administrator roster: ie scorer, carer, timer, canteen etc duties for the parents supporters of our team. I had to get that together separately and it was a little tedious to have to do both. An integrated model would be great.

App is fine, inappropriate adds. I use the app to manage two kids sports teams. It does what it needs to do - the app is fine. But be cautious of the inappropriate adds. If you are thinking of using it for school or kid sport team purposes this app is not suitable as they allow adds that are pretty much soft porn. I wouldn’t recommend this app until they can sort out the advertising issues.

App was great and then they put a huge FEE onto it.. I loved Heja, used it last year and was excited for this year. I logged in and noticed they took most of the great Features and put it in a PRO version. That’s understandable BUT to try to charge $16 a MONTH when nearly all teams and coaches are doing this as a VOLUNTEER and unpaid. I find that an extremely bad judgement on pricing the product. This is a 5 star product but the pro pricing is extreme.

Clear and easy to use. Message your team. Chat between coaches and see upcoming games and events. I’d never used it before this and now I highly recommend it. I use it for football.

I highly recommend Heja. A great simple app to use. I have 4 kids and usually have 6 or 7 teams on my Heja account all year round. It makes life so much easier to have all their training and game details in the one place. It’s easy to message the whole team or just one person and loading info if you’re a manager is straightforward.

Great app.. Only complaint I have it with the early start reminders. We do a 9am training on Sunday mornings and it sends an alert at 6am to everyone. Would be handy to have some control over that one.

Great Team app. Heja is a great team app, it gives you everything you need to manage your team. The only fault is that the photos get mixed up when you upload them and don’t make sense with the narrative you intend to give to your team. It should allow you yo select the order you want the photos to be posted. Also, the photos are getting resized so they are all cut off when you publish them. Also, since more advertising has been uploaded by yourself the app became very slow and freezes a lot. I hope you can fix all those things. Other than that is great!

All the information you need at your fingertips. Have used this system for multiple sports. Able to organise trainings and communication between parents. Heja is easy to use and makes things uncomplicated.

Was a huge fan, now not so much. I have used this app for many years. And have recommended that Clubs use it for their communication. But now it is not so easy to use. You can’t have more than one administration person without having to pay to be fully pro. No longer can the coach and team manager be an admin without someone having to pay each month. No longer can you sync the events to your calendar. Unlike a competitors app which still provides both of these options for no additional cost. If we were wanting to use all the additional add ons, I’d understand the charge, but for basic use like this, it’s very disappointing.

Heja makes life easier :). We use Heja throughout our club. It’s so helpful for succinct information regarding match times and training, and player attendance. Our coaches know how many players to prepare sessions for. Match day is so much smoother and the detail we can provide to families and players regarding venues and arrival times is a game changer. Team managers need this app. One of the best apps I’ve used for managing a sports team. Great balance between free features and pro features. But can certainly manage the team well with just the free stuff including these things I love - know team members and the parents - rsvp managed in the app for training and games - integrates with calendar on smart phones - notifications for chat and event reminders

Makes management easy. I love this app. It is great keeping all team comms in one place rather than a mix of texts and emails. It gets even better when multiple sports are using the app.

Great functionality but Pro needed and is overpriced. We’ve used this app for years - unfortunately features that used to be free are now bundled in Pro which has absurd pricing when converted to AUD!!! Used to be half the price which was very reasonable, but when you manage two teams, $320 is an absurd amount to pay!!!

Heja saved this unorganised Mumma!. My kids are in so many teams and keeping up with multiple WhatsApp group threads was hard, with important info getting lost amongst the chatter. So I tell every new team about a Heja now! Heja was first introduced to me for my sons basketball team about 12 months ago and the simplicity of the app as a parent is a godsend. Heja has all the game/training/event times and locations in the schedule tab that link to your phones maps and calendar. (I have the paid version). It also allows you to mark (and track) attendance making it an easy way to let managers/coaches know if you can or cannot make training or a game without the whole team all getting notifications. You can categorise the messages section too with different threads. For my sons footy team we have a team chat, merch and events, photos & game sheet threads so everything is easy to find. My daughters soccer team also uses the video tab which has skills to practice uploaded. Feels like Heja really thought about everything! 10/10 for this unorganised Mumma 👌🏽

Almost a great app. This app is great for team management as you can have everything in one place. We have always struggled with taking attendance and getting payments so Heja really appealed to our club. Lately it has been incredibly glitchy. We purchased the pro membership for multiple teams but many of the features such as creating fees are not working. Our athletes have also has all had issues with posts loading incorrectly. Glitches happen but when you’re paying for pro features, any issues need to fixed quickly and the customer service team need to be more responsive.

It is a great way to roster not only sports teams but also officials. I have used Heja for rostering referees at State Champs and then I suggested we used it at a club level which we now do as well. Two mates of mine also use it for sorting out events between their cricket and rowing teams. Heja is very effective and does what it’s designed for.

Improvement idea. Hi there, I have kids in two teams and swapping between them is clunky. Could you make a button that allows you to switch at any time from one team to another, rather than the current 3 clicks? It would also be helpful to be able to see the schedule for both teams in one spot. Many thanks, Helen

Keiran. Great app, love the setup. Two things could be changed for me to give 5 stars. 1. Notifications don’t pop up on phone when someone messages or responds to schedules. 2. Many sports are seasonal so would be great to have a form of payment for premium to cater for this. Possibly 3 or six month plans? Other than that I love using Heja.

Manager of kids team. So easy to contact all parents and let them all know at once, especially for those that don’t use social media.

Great app but VERY glitchy!. I’ve been using this app for several years for my kids various sports as both a team manager and parent. However lately the app has become incredibly glitchy and the quality has slipped. The worst issue is when you tap to go into something like a game or a message and then try to go back using the back button but it won’t work. The only way to navigate back out if the page is to hard close and restart the app!! The other Concerning issue is when you navigate to another team, it navigates you to the previous Team, and will only navigate to the new team after changing teams for a second time. This can lead to you accidentally posting Something in the wrong team! These issues have been there for some time now and I would have expected a fix by now considering their impact On the use of the app as well as the impact to your reputation with the app appearing of low quality. Hope to see some fixes soon and I will adjust my rating.

Very easy to use.. Very nice app that includes everything like team schedules, when and where the game is and it’s gives directions and shows an exact image of the place the game is, you can chat in a whole team chat and a chat between you and your coach and your child can have a seperate account than you. I love it!

Highly recommend!. I am currently managing a sports team and also have children in other sports with someone else managing their team. Heja helps me be completely organised for both. I have each team on the one app, colour coded to the team colours to make it easier to recognise. Heja allows me to message the whole team or message other parents individually and share photos. There is a very easy schedule to follow, telling me where the games are. For my team, I can input all game dates, times and places. All members of the team are able to accept or decline the invitation for each game and training, which tells the coach who will be there. I get reminders for everything. I can’t recommend this app enough! Thanks Heja, for making my life as a mother and a team manager extremely easy!

Organisation made easy. I’ve been using heja for 3 years as a basketball manager and it’s made my job much easier. From schedules, announcements and allowing multiple group chats to be created for different topics, I’m able to ensure I can see who’s coming to training, and that communication is easy for the parents.

Excellent for busy parents. I have had many years of trying to manage and negotiate team sports times and venues as a coach and a parent. My sons coach recently set up Heja for their basketball team and is has been a lifesaver! I have up-to-date info about when and where everything is, and his Dad is connected too so I don’t need to pass the info on. Parents have used the chat function if they are not sure where to go at the venue, or if they have had a last minute emergency. From a coaching perspective it is great not having to send a hundred communications to every single person every time! Amazing!

Winners. Heja is a great platform for learning about how our favourite team is doing and Heja has created a unique environment where everyone can engage in learning about their child and there team through the coaching sessions on a regular basis and also in parents being able to connect and interact with their comments. Overall Heja is a fantastic app that allows parents to organise their time to help their child arrive at training and match games on time.

Really good app but please change:. I love this app, recently got it to keep up to date with my soccer team. I love how I can also make individual chats to talk to just one person, how ever I was recently using the app and received an add that was trying to imitate a notification from settings saying my device was infected and that I had to “update” it was obviously fake I could tell because of the x in the top right. While it was easy for me to distinguish wether or not it was a scam this might now be the case for other users of this app, please keep in mind the consequences that not paying attention to what your advertising may have. Other than that really good app keep up the great work. 👏

Team sport platform. Great app for team calendar reminders, training and games etc. I like the option for fee reminders too. Would be perfect if the app let me email the group as well as message them & if only the manager needed the plus account for all the team to use (otherwise all need a plus account for all options) Others wise it is great!

Very practical information and coordination platform. Heja is a very practical and intuitive platform to bring together teams and coordinate activities. We use Heja for multiple baseball teams during the season, but it certainly can be helpful for other team sports. It allows to tailor a player’s photo, number & preferred position(s), but this feature can be a bit tricky to figure out. Heja even allows to upload and share pictures and videos. Unfortunately, once a video is uploaded it cannot be replaced or deleted. Also, repeatedly it occurs that a notification is shown on the iPhone’s locked screen but when I open it to read it, it’s not showing. I have to completely close Heja, re-open it, and the new message is there.

Highly inappropriate ads. For an app used for kids sporting teams - and by the kids themselves often as well as their parents/carers, it is HIGHLY inappropriate to have ads popping up of half dressed women! The gambling ads are also inappropriate. But the almost naked women is not ok in any app or platform that is used for anything to do with children. The ads used to be just annoying and still are, as they now are longer and harder to get rid of quickly when you’re trying to quickly check the schedule for a game time and place. Now they just make the parents of our team upset and angry. I don’t think the team will be using the app next season

Glitches. Sometimes it glitches that one of my teams has another teams information and you can’t access the correct information. hasn’t happened awhile that has happened a few times

Great app for sharing information with teammates. As a recipient of information from Heja, I really appreciate the way the app works. I just wish there was a cheaper subscription that allowed 2 admins (1 team manager and 1 coach) rather than having to step up from free all the way to pro. Then I would be a bigger fan and a paying user.

Mostly great. App is mostly great as it’s handy to set schedules for team training and games. Great for getting information to the team. My only complaint is it constantly says I have notifications but then when I click into app the red notification disappears and there’s no new message. Then when I click back out of the app it comes up with notifications on top corner of app again. Annoying

Excellent app. I have used several different apps over the years to manage my son’s soccer team and this is easily the best. Great for team communication. Only minor criticism is I don't need the promotional push notifications that come occasionally, but small issue relative to free use of app that is so good for managing sports team

Notifications??. This app is a great way to get with a sports team, with a schedule and chats all through this application, however, it must be checked regularly because there is no notifications that appear on your lock screen, so for improvement I would recommend to work on notifications so it is impossible to forget!!! Fantastic. I used this app for my sons lacrosse team and it was perfect! All the features were great including maps to our always games, marking kids and attending games or not and sharing photos on a group feed. It allowed easy communication and sharing with everyone involved including parents, coaches and staff.

can’t enable notifications. The app itself is fine, but I can’t enable notifications, as there is no option in my settings for me to do so, so I don’t get team updates unless I remember to check the app

I would give zero star if I can. Its easy to create duplicated accounts, not able to identify users when you log in again, and you are unable to delete duplicated account with same email, same phone number and same user name, you only can send text message but not voice message, now a day this is like an old age communication APPs, all other schools is switching to Whatsapp in which they have so many group function, for our next school meetings, I will also make such recommendation as my duplicated accounts are still here in the group without resolving the problem even I requested that for so long.

Great app...couple requests. Started using this app for our hockey team. Only things missing are the ability to directly invite people without them having to initiate. And to have it send out emails to team instead of just notes on app. I find some info gets missed. But an amazing app especially for free use which I greatly appreciate as a volunteer.

Great Team Management App. Works well. Easy to use and easy to update schedules. Great team messaging tool. Performs well. I strongly recommend the app adds a team score section. This is a big gap. Other than that, it serves my needs as a coach.

Streamliner & Time Saver. I will address criticisms up front, yes I am an ambassador, but I am also a coach who began using the app well before becoming one. My CV speaks for itself and I have coached in 2 countries for just over 20 seasons and in different functions as a board member, coach and a technical and coaching director. Heja has made my life easier managing communications with my parents and schedules. The UI is very user friendly and I would not recommend it without using it myself (which I strongly recommend for my various organizations and groups) and appreciating how it streamlines my work. If you coach or have been a team parent, you know the time you have to take on any given evening, and your checklist (or spreadsheet) to figure out who you've talked to and who you STILL need to talk to. Almost everyone now has smart device and directing people to that platform while I work in various team capacities throughout the year, makes sense and is way more efficient. Push notifications are a lot more natural to react to nowadays than even phone calls or emails. You can always switch them off and you can manually send them to parents who do not use them in order to remind them. Sorry for the length of this post, but I'll finish it by saying I am not a natural pitchman, but I will pitch this because it works.

Great way to stay connected as a team. We used Heja for my son and daughter’s hockey teams and it was amazing! It kept all of the parents in the loop with scheduling, supported messages between teammates and parents and we also used the messaging for play-by-plays during games for parents that couldn’t attend a game. All in all, it made the hockey season for our family much less stressful. I would definitely recommend using it for your sports team.

Useful. As a coach it’s nice to see who’s attending practice and tracking attendance stats. Haven’t done much a deep dive into the free version but I like what I use.

Great team app. This is a great sports team app. It has a very good communication system, allowing group or individual messages. It also allows coaches to see WHO has read messages, so you can tell if players or parents have been informed of team events or news. I would highly recommend if for team coaches or mangers to use this app for their teams. It’s has greatly simplified my team managerial responsibilities.

Simple and Starightforward. I gotta say as an athletes I am loving this app! It allows you to properly communicate with the coach and teammates, practice and game dates, has a "going" or "not going" option to let coaches and teammates know for each event in the calendar. Amazing app but….. This app is amazing, I love all it features and it helps make my job easy as an admin for my team. But I wish you guys can add the reply feature where I can reply to and individual player directly. Also if you guys can add player position will be great I won’t mind paying more for that.

Could you possibly help. I’ve been trying to open the app for about thirty minutes now after I didn’t use it for a while and after it opens it sits still for a second and the blacks out my screen and shuts itself down. Im not able to log in. I was trying to log in to check up on some team schedules and when i clicked logged in with Facebook and continue as who i was its just puts me back to the log in menu where ask which way to log in from phone email and Facebook i tried clicking the log in button again it does a loading icon then appears as log in with facebook again i even tried reinstalling the app and it still wont let me log in

Extremely helpful app. I play basketball two times a week and we figure out if we’re gonna have a game 9 PM the night before. This app is really useful to help us determine that. It’s very easy to use, and were able to communicate back-and-forth.

Great app. The ability to create message boards and discussions along with whatever other forms of communicating aside from phone calls this is very useful! We use it for our parents and students to discuss upcoming events, matters in the personal life and simple conversation and motivational post! Great platform

Must have!. I love this app! Being a coach and keeping track of practices/games can be difficult through a group text with parents. This app allows you add the schedule and message the team as a group with notifications, which helps not bog up text messages. Love it!

More features than other apps!. I love that Heja is able to post my schedule, and I am able to see who will be in attendance at our events. This makes scheduling for families easier, being able to see what is upcoming, and our attendance at camps, clinics, open gyms, etc. is better!

Get rid of the group text. I’ve used Heja as both a parent and coach. It’s makes communication super easy without having the group text all season! My favorite feature is the attendance as a coach you can plan your practice or match, as a parent you can communicate attendance with just a few taps!

App crashes. First off I want to say that I like the app which is why I gave it a 3 instead of a 2 or 1. I use it for both of my little league baseball teams. That said, I had issues with the app crashing and so have several of my parents. We actually had to start a Facebook page so we could upload pictures. I’m hoping Heja can figure it out because it is a great tool. The reliability is not up to par.

Parent with multiple kids. I am a parent with multiple kids on different teams. This app makes it easy to keep track of everything, communicate clearly and I recommend it to all coaches who haven’t heard of it before. Great app!

Heja. Great app. Makes it easy to communicate with players and parents. Easy to book practices and post anything that pops up. Can do some other stuff on it as well but haven’t looked into it. 10/10 would recommend.

Ok but could be better. Personally I think this is a great app, however the ads have gotten out of hand. I could maybe see one spot where there is and add that changes but right now scrolling through ads every other message coaches post is a lot

Excellent App!. We love Heja! We have been using it for several sports and for several seasons. It solves one of the most difficult aspects of coaching youth sports, parent communication. It’s super convenient and reliable. We particularly enjoy the calendar sync option.

5 stars. Super easy to use! We’re a busy active family and practice schedules are always hectic but this app has made life easier for us also being able to add if my child is going or not makes it easy so the coach isn’t waiting on them to start practice.

Great app for teams!. We have a group of Pickleball players and we’re looking for a way to improve communication and scheduling of different play times for multiple levels of players. This app offers a great way to communicate that is not overly complicated. If you have groups of players you need to communicate with you should give Heja a try!!

Useful Tool. Very nice to have everything in one place. Being able to communicate even direct messages to parents and players in the app is to keep it all in one place is a great, safe way to keep info flowing.

Great communication app!. I have used this for high school, youth travel, and youth recreational teams and it works extremely well for all levels. Instant accurate sharing of communication and is simple to use! I have a hard time believing that it is an entirely FREE app! And there are NO ADS! It’s almost too good to be true. I will be using Heja for every team I coach!

Notification bug. It won’t clear a notification. It says there is an update for a team, but there is no new post or update. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the notification remains. Update: now it says more new notifications and still all messages are read. Super annoying!!

App Upgrades. Would love to be able to add Zelle, Cash App, Venmo and other payment methods to the app. Being able to setup Small Groups within the team would be an added bonus. Adding something that would assist with fundraising is always a plus.

Love this app!. This app has been a lifesaver this soccer season. This was our first time coaching two teams at once and this helped us keep everyone informed. I really like the schedule feature allowing you to schedule games and practices. Super helpful!

Game changer. This has been very beneficial to keep tabs on all kids events in one place. We aren’t getting emails, text messages, Facebook group messages, etc. It is so wonderful to have one stop shop. It truly is a game changer!

Heja. Hi! Heja is a great place to communicate with your teammates, especially when you haven’t met them yet. You can post pictures on it and people in your team see that. They put the coaches text in yellow so you know who it is, Heja is a very organized app. I love Heja for those reasons.

Very helpful. The app is easy to use and a great tool for communication. For my granddaughter, it is especially helpful as she has several different people in the family who are involved in her cheer experience. So the app allows us all to stay informed.

Everything. This has helped me so so much with my planning and knowing when and who is going to be where and I love the chats on how you can see who looks at your messages and I think this app is just super helpful!

Only team sports app where parents have to pay for synch!. I have 4 kids and 4 different team apps from their sports teams. I just downloaded Heja and found to my dismay that I have to pay for calendar synch! And not a one time fee but an almost $10 monthly fee. I have searched to find out why this app is so superior to other sports team apps and it's not! You boast that you make lives easier but this is the one app that I have to do more work for. Either pay you $100 for the year or manually enter. Don't use this app!

Easy. Very user friendly. I feel quite competent using this app but I don’t think it’s because I’ve just gotten better at tech. Everything is pretty straight forward and not overly complicated.

Heja. I feel like I definitely would recommend, however if you don’t pay for it you get lots of adds everywhere, not a total deal breaker but definitely not super fun, especially when using for kids, some adds are not appropriate.

Organization +. I simply love this app! I’m coaching two different youth teams and this app has truly simplified and improved every aspect of communication and scheduling. Parents love it as well. (I’ve given several similar apps trial runs, and this one outperforms the competition. It’s completely free as well!)

It’s early in our use, but I do like it.. We need to get everyone on the team using it. Then I think it will show its full potential. I’d like it to replace emails, and will look to see how I can better utilize the tool to share more details and make it a complete record of our team.

Great for high school teams!. I have been looking for an app that you do not need an email address for, my players don’t check email. This is it!! I am very impressed. At first I wasn’t sure about all the reminders, but I have since had players and parents tell me that they love the app and the reminders help. It’s a great app!!

Easy to track. Easier tracking games and scheduling. The old spreadsheet was not the clearest and it just makes it easier to see if other kids are going or if games are canceled or moved around.

User friendly app. This is a very user friendly app to keep players and parents in the loop when it come to their sporting events. Also gives the ability for coaches to communicate additional things without limiting how much they can send out at a time. Highly recommend this app!

My basketball team. This has done wonders for the team I’m on we play a lot and my coach had messed up the schedule so he just posted the knew one on Heja and everything was fixed Heja is the perfect team app

Convenience. This app is very convenient for keeping a group of people connected on updates with games or anything that may change, very helpful app I would highly recommend.

Loved it!. It was an amazing app. Used it for 6 years. Lately, it’s been a headache. I purchased the app hoping all the bugs will go away. I have lost so many pictures due to the app shutting down. I will have to go with group me for the next season. It’s no longer what it was. Wish it would not have so many problems. I do not recommend, you might lose all your pictures due to the app shutting down in the middle of downloading. Then when you shut a team, the other account holders still have access.

Parent/Coach. My daughter’s town soccer coach used this for her team so when I began coaching her U10 travel I began to use it as a coach. Such a great tool in either role. All practices, games, tournaments, and important info in one place. No scrolling to find group threads and then scrolling WITHIN the thread to find information. Highly recommend!!

Issues after new update 562.1. Just updated the app to the most recent version 562.1, and now I’m not able to open my profile in the app. All other buttons work at the bottom, except when clicking my profile tab, the app freezes and locks all other tabs. Please fix.

Helpful for keeping up with group activities. It’s pretty good. I am a student and it has helped me keep up with games and activities planned for my team that I would otherwise forget if not reminded of. I also love that you can message the people in your group & that there are emojis you can reply to a post with

Heja. GREAT! I love this app so much it helps me coordinate team practices tournaments and attendance so well. The group chat feature also is very key to my 5 star rate 10/10 app for sure. The only knock which didn’t effect me but the parents is the fee for the fee😂

Almost perfect. The app works very well although there seems to be a bug in updating existing events. Hopefully an update fixes it. What would be wonderful is if you could message from the web browser. Announcements work from the web browser but not messaging.

Team. With my team and has been amazing using Heja! I can always get in touch with the coaches when I need to and I can stay with the players. If we have an event planned, it’s super easy to RSVP and so they know what I’m doing and so I know what they’re doing and I just recommended everyone.

Works great. I was recommended Heja by another wrestling coach and this is one of the best things our team has done for parent communication! My kids also play baseball and their teams use other apps, I definitely prefer Heja
