Great mag. I have been a subscriber since 1997 and have always thoroughly enjoyed the publication. It was lacking prior to current ownership but has since beefed up. Can’t wait to have things back to normal and have a more consistent publication schedule (only knock against it). I am a lifelong subscriber no doubt about it!! Jim C

Come ON!. Can’t sign into my account, even changed my password. Won’t accept my account number either, or what I thought was my account number on my latest issue. Why doesn’t my account online, on the website, show my account number instead of trying to figure it out what it is on the mailing label?! Subscriber since I was in my teens. This is horrible.

This app is a joke!. I have no access to my older issues anymore!

Love it. I love Hockey but never see the issues I want in the stores. This is great, beautiful clear pictures and information right at my fingertips!!

The hockey news. The made changes and did not have the courtesy to email me of the changes. I cant log back into my subscription and now i will have to waste time calling them to correct their mistake!

The website is better, why get the app?. The newest editions of draft preview and future watch are only available if you take out a subscription. But on the website they can be purchased individually. Makes no sense.

Poor. Only works with internet connection. Must verify status every launch. Does not verify in iPhone at all. Would love a refund on purchases.

Anyone ever figure out how to get your iTunes subscription on the new app?. Typical BS support. Don't buy this mess.

Don’t waste your time and money. Being a subscriber of the magazine for many years and enjoying it, I decided to subscribe for the app. I paid my 2$ in hopes of reading older subscriptions and the app doesn’t work. It keeps telling me it will take a few minutes to restore my subscription. I gave it a week and I still can’t access any older issues. It’s really sad that they still can’t get it right. It’s a joke!!

OMG!!!. What a bunch of losers these guys are. They "upgraded" the app. But now it doesn't work. Was the upgrade a way to get me to purchase a subscription thru THN instead of thru iTunes? We'll never know. When I called THN to tell them that I couldn't sign in to access my mag, I was told that because I made my purchase thru Apple, I'd have to call them. AND THEN THE GUY HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! Apple couldn't help because it's not their app. They told me I'd have to wait for another update. Maybe once the playoff are over! Right, THN?

Refund?. I purchased your jersey issue and now it won't let me update or access the issue to read. Very disappointed with this app. Don't buy .

Best source for Hockey info. Month after month I look forward to my issue of THN. It is quality from cover to cover and the best source for the latest hockey news. Here’s to another 75 years.

Hot mess. Paid for my subscription through the app, went to read issues and it asked me to sign in. With what? I never gave it a password or user name and it never asked me for one when I paid. Tragically ridiculous.

Garbage. Terrible app doesn’t work. Save your money

Please Fix. Glad I didn’t cancel my print subscription because this app rarely works, but when it does it’s pretty good. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it several times but still can’t see current issues, keeps asking me to subscribe or buy the single issue, all I can see are past issues from months and months ago.

Lost Past Issues. With the new update I cannot access any issues previous to 2019 without repurchasing them. I have contacted the developers and The Hockey News and have not received any replies. If the problem is not resolved, I will likely discontinue my subscription. After decades of being a subscriber to THN, I am deeply saddened and disappointed .

90% Politics 10% Hockey. If you’ve come for hockey content expect to be disappointed. Magazine is highly political and light on actual hockey content.

Lost everything... AGAIN. I’d give zero stars if I could. I’ve been purchasing online issues for five years. Every time you touch the app, everything is gone again. I started over again with the burning questions issue, purchased while using the same subscription login on an android tablet. Sign in on my iPhone... no purchases.

Incompetence. Once again they “upgraded” the app. Now I can’t get any of the new issues. Good upgrade. The incompetence of these guys is beyond belief. Yet trying to contact them results in NEVER getting to talk to a human being and never gets the problem resolved. A quality publication with incompetent support. Do not get a digital subscription ! They are unable to fulfill it but will gladly keep your money.

Wow. Wow. I see all of the negative feedback regarding this app and it makes me nervous. I say this because so far it has been flawless for me. I love it. It hasn’t crashed. I can see every issue clearly. I still have my print subscription which I am glad for but this is handy if I’m out and about and don’t have my print version. So I am hoping that it’s not all going to come tumbling down. But so far, I am very happy with it.

Disappointed. For years I was a avid reader. For the most part enjoyed and learned. However, this app is a joke.

Changed app. They changed the app and with the new app, it says I don't have a subscription. Yet I just renewed in Oct.

Can’t read ANY issues!. Been trying for two weeks to read anything. Only options are to spend even more money to buy upgrades. Bunch of c**p.

Hockey final word. This is the definition of hockey knowledge ,even handed and enjoyable stories in every issue

The app is terrible. A shame the app is brutal to use. Just updated. Does not allow you to go back to home pads when done with an article. Have to close it out.

New App Stinks. Unable to access my magazines that I've already paid for. Have downloaded it twice per their FAQ support and just keeps spinning and saying restoring purchases. No other magazine app gives me his problem. Whoever wrote this app should be checked hard into the boards!

Kraken. Good app but they have yet to add the Kraken to the filter!

Awful. Upgraded app and stole my money because I now cannot access content I paid for. Where's my refund? Too bad because I really enjoyed the magazine but do NOT purchase this!

Stick on the ice.. I agree with Rural Guy...I’ll add. Being a long time THN subscriber, print format, I receive an email offering the digital option along with my renewal offer or notice. Of course I want to renew, so I renew. However, the offer stated the Money and Power issue included, when I go to the issue, it states $9.99 to purchase. Not what I expected. So now I’ll wait for my print version to arrive via post...if this becomes a chase or song and dance matter, it will likely result in a cancelled membership and loss of a long time customer. Thus far, not satisfied with client experience of this “digital offer”.

One issue wont download. Good app, but one recent annoying problem. The future stars issue with the 3 Philadelphia players on the cover will not download. Every time i try to do so, it keeps asking me if I want to purchase it. I’m a subscriber, I have no need or desire to purchase it.

Can't access. So this app only works to buy digital copies of magazines. Which you have to pay extra for even if you pay for an actual paper subscription. Not only that, if you want web content that is free you can't access it here you have to go to the website. Who is running your digital/web department? Basically, if you want paper magazines with the option to read online and the additional free web content you need a paper subscription, a digital subscription, this app, and you need to go to the web site on your browser. This is not a winning digital strategy.

It just doesn’t work. I’ve downloaded the app and it won’t load content. I’m canceling the subscription

Get A Life. The magazines read like material for a twelve year old. The articles we just hard to taje seriously. I was done reading after about 4 issues. It never talked about hockey just boring player stories that a parent would read to his child who played hockey. Unfortunately my son is not a hockey fan. These articles did not get him interested either. Too much junior hockey and Women’s hockey. Hard to care. Need articles about the daily operations of the NHL or just hockey tips. Very boring.

Restore purchases. I can’t restore purchases and create an account as instructed in app... I just get a server error code every time.

Perfect. Easily the best interface of any app, the entire magazine at your finger tips, even better on tablet.

Garbage App. The Hockey News continues to offer one of the worst digital subscription apps I've ever seen. Nothing loads on my iPhone, but will load on my iPad. it's constantly logging me out of my subscription on its own. It's total garbage. Praying I'll be able to use the Apple News app down the road for my hockey news subscription like i do for others. Hey Hockey News I'm paying for your content and I can't read it because your horrible app is so bad. Fix this or allow us to use a good app like Apple News to access the content we pay for.
