Alo Moves Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Just OK. There are a couple very skilled teachers on this app who deliver very well thought out classes, however they are far and few between. I’m extra critical because I am a physical therapist. The app needs more options to filter by, it’s hard to find a class I want to do. There’s also a glitch when I am scrolling through classes where the list constantly reloads way back up towards the top, super annoying and seems like something that could be fixed. When I apply a time filter the classes that show up do not fit the filter. I do not like how Alo normalizes hyper mobility. And when did ballistic stretching become a thing again? People will be injuring themselves if they don’t know how to modify.

Great Programs. The 30 day core challenge is really making me feel more confident and empowered ti resume and power start my fitness journey. After 1.5 years of not getting much exercise due to covid restrictions, this challenge is giving the core strength I know is important to any fitness journey. Kupah and Calvin rock! I wish the app was a bit better about reminding you which classes you have already completed in the circuit. The black checkmarks sometimes come and go when the app is launched. Sometimes they are indicated in the series list and sometimes I have to click into the class to see if it has a check mark.

Anonymity needed + easier class segue. When you log a class, your full name is shown to whomever views the "community" tab. Big breach of privacy for those who don't want their name public (including me). However, it should be an option for those who want to have their name known. Can a "privacy" option be added to settings? Classes logged should be under the "my practice" tab so you can give yourself credit for accomplishing goals/tasks/completing classes. I saved a few series to my practice tab that I do every day. It would be nice if each series picked up where you left off rather than having to remember what day you're on and having to scroll to it. When pausing a class or tapping to see how much time is left, can there be less time for the white border to disappear or the option to double-click to let it disappear immediately? Despite these requested changes, the classes are good, and it's nice to be able to turn off the background music in the event that anyone doesn't want to hear it. App needs work though.

No real levels. Theoretically, I really like this app. What i liked: the broad range of activities. What I didn’t like (hated!) was the high intensity from the very first exercise. There was no ability to find beginner level skills classes. They were too hard, too intense, and opened with strength moves I couldn’t do. I found it really hard to follow the instructions on the Pilates classes when I was in the pose and couldn’t see my screen. The instructors spend too much time randomly talking about other things, leaving you hanging half in and half out of poses. There was no ability to chose how long you wanted your yoga practice. This isn’t an app to learn new things. This is only for already high level fitness junkies.

Everything I need. The Alo App keeps expanding and getting better and better. Just when I think it has everything I need they add more! It’s so fabulous to have whether I just need a quick workout because I am stretched for time or I need a heart pounding boxing class with Krupah or I want to wind down before bed and relax not only my body but my mind I’ve got it right on my iPad or phone. The Pilates series with Bianca are my favorite but all the Pilates classes are off the charts good. So many great yoga options, I love all of Carlings classes they are endless in terms of what your body needs . I love going to the gym however the Alo app still has classes and options my gym does not. I will end my review by saying it’s also fantastic when you’re on holiday, and in your hotel room, you still have access to great workouts.

Fabulous app but new version needs some work. This is a fabulous app but the new update has a few bugs to work out! Please bring back the check mark to show which classes are complete in a series when viewing the whole series. The way it is now you have to open each individual class in a series to see if it's complete or not. It would be much easier to scroll through the list of classes and have a little check mark (or anything) to indicate if the class is done without having to click through each class.

Love!. I love using Alo Moves daily for my workouts! There’s so much variety in workout intensity and so many videos to challenge yourself to try new things. One thing I wish was available is an easier way to plan your workouts. I usually write down in my journal which ones I’m planning to take on which days. Having a way to plan in the app would make it so much easier to prepare for the week or even just the next day. I don’t think I’ll ever stop using Alo Moves. I get way more out of the workouts than going to the gym and doing my own thing. I’ve learned so much from so many instructors

Obsessed!!. I had seen ads for Alo Moves for years. I was always mesmerized by the abilities of the instructors, moving through the space with ease. I was skeptical though. I wasn’t sure the classes would be accessible for a beginner/intermediate student and I figured it was pricey. I was too curious though and I clicked through. Come to find out it’s quite affordable, muchhh cheaper than most gyms, and there are plenty of classes for all skill types! I have been doing some intermediate foundation building classes for less than two weeks now and I already feel much more flexibility and definitely a lot more strength! I can already tell some of the fun, “inaccessible” poses I’ve always wanted to achieve are right around the corner for me! I love this app and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Best Fitness App......PERIODT. They have something for EVERYBODY! Being able to choose from a variety of different fitness styles, ranging from beginner to expert levels, and choosing intensity, and how long a work out is is the best. 5 min core. 30 min Vinyasa. 15 min arms. 20 min meditation. They have singing bowl videos !! They even have yoga for kids !! My son loves it. Downloaded the app on his tablet so he was able to do it on his own whenever he wanted. And the diversity of all the instructors and settings is very heartwarming. Gym membership for what!?!.!. Lol.

Exercises are great but app needs some improvements. I started trying the app a week ago and I really like the exercises however I found that some things don’t work quite well on the app: - the filter function is very basic. I wanted to search all the beginner programs and they don’t have a way to do so even though they categorize the programs on beginner, intermediate, etc - when you add a program to your practice it doesn’t keep track of the classes you have done (marking them as completed) so you have to remember which one was the last one you did... I did the same class twice today because of this - the play / pause button is weird... I have a 4 yo that sometimes interrupts me and I usually press pause but in some cases the video started again from the beginning Otherwise I’m liking the videos and I feel they are challenging so I will keep using it. I also like that it has meditation (last year I was paying for exercise and meditation apps separately).

Only Yoga App I use!. I’ve been searching a while for a yoga app to help build and continue my practice.... and this is the only one I’ve found worth it. The instructors are top notch, there are no shortages of classes, and the app itself is very easy to use. I was worried at first that there would be a disconnect between classes in a studio and classes on the app, but I was very wrong - it feels like you’re right in the room. If you’re looking for an easy and effortless way to challenge your practice, this is the app for you!

The only way I workout. I started using this app when my favorite yoga studio closed a couple of years ago. I quickly discovered the barre classes that I loved and produced amazing results. I have found my favorite instructors, like Emily Sierra and rotate through her series and individual classes. There is always something new! I love her prompts. She goes over the next exercise while you’re repping out the current exercise. It makes for a seamless transition to the next move. I love her reminders for keeping your form and her vast knowledge of body mechanics. I love that I can do these while away and there are plenty of body weight exercises that need no equipment. I’ve been hooked for at least 2 years now!

Obsessed with Alomoves for +3 years. I discovered Alomoves during the pandemic when I started doing new workouts like as Pilates or Barre. I used to just use it for Yoga classes because the instructors and the classes you get are the best out there, even when I go live to NYC studios, the yoga classes aren’t as challenging and advanced. I’m now using it for Pilates and Barre workouts and I love the incredible variety of workouts they have (different lengths, intensity, level etc). I love how they bring new instructors every month, I highly highly recommend!

Love it!. So far best workout app I’ve had I love having choices between how long I want to go for. I love having categories for what I wanna work on and I love having options of doing individuals or a whole series playlist that I can do. I did it every other day for two weeks and I already started seeing results from just the quick 5 to 10 minute workouts, you need little to none equipment to do these workouts and the coaches are so motivational. They are really encouraging and it helps when it becomes a hard to push through. 10 out of 10 worth the money.

Great content but the apps leave much to be desired. Alo moves is one of my favourite subscriptions in terms of content. It is really fantastic but the quality of the apps is not great. There’s constant flickering of the screen when you go into a series to check it out and come back to the previous screen with the content not being in the place where it was. This is very disorienting when you’re trying to find new series to add to your practice. The iPad app seems to be just a blown out version of the iPhone app that doesn’t really take advantage of the bigger screen. It therefore has the same issues as the iPhone. The Apple TV app doesn’t even allow you to perform a search and most of the series’ sections are empty. Also, when a video finishes on the Apple TV, the screen remains black instead of automatically take you to the screen where the video is played. I find this very odd. The Apple TV also does not signal which classes you’ve already done. This is something the iPhone does. For some reason, the calendar on your profile does not get populated with the workouts you’ve done automatically. This seems rather odd considering that the information is already there in their servers and the user can select the privacy level within the community. Again, great content but the apps really need some substantial amount of work. It also wouldn’t be a terrible idea to add social median links to the instructor profiles.

Great app for yoga!. I love this app and have been using almost daily for months. There’s a few area for improvement though; I wish each class had its own difficulty level instead of just for the whole series because each class can vary greatly in difficulty level. Also it would be VERY helpful if the description listed equipments needed (e.g. yoga blocks, straps, etc). I also wish there was a way to see how many times I’ve done a class or when is the last time I did a class. This is useful because I tend to repeat a number of classes and it would be nice to know when I last repeated a class. There’s no way to see a list of classes you did in chronological order, you have to click on each date on the calendar to do that. I think it’d be useful to have a list rather than a calendar also.

Great content, could improve functionality. I’ve used this since before it was Alo Yoga (shoutout to the OG Codyapp). There’s great content on the app and I love that there’s a variety of options for different skills and levels. I love that there’s something for everyone. I wish the filters worked better on the search. The “type” filter doesn’t work at all on my Apple TV and only displays the option for “all”, so I end up having to look for what I want on my browser first. I also noticed when I upload photos with my workout , they end up stretched out/looking wide. I used to log progress photos with my workouts but don’t anymore because of this distortion. Finally, I have a suggestion that I think would make the platform more usable. First of all, there’s a TON of content. I like to save things to “My Practice” but I think it would be helpful to have an option to make folders/categorize beyond that point (ex: under 15 min, hips, etc.). I have a lot of videos saved to my practice and it simply takes too long to find what I’m looking for even if I’ve saved it. It’s hard to fit time to workout in the day. 5 extra minutes spent searching for what I need can make or break whether I have enough time to exercise.

Best instructors, meh app.. If this was just a review of the instructors it would be 5 stars easily. They are the reason I renew year after year. They are truly the greatest instructors I’ve ever had, especially those who were around when it was called Codyapp - Ashley, Dylan, Talia, Megan Currie, etc. The app has always been a little disappointing. My main gripe is that I cannot cast to my Roku tv, nor do they have an app for Roku. The search function is not the greatest. The class descriptions need a full overhaul, including a list of what equipment is needed. The “community” tab is mostly people logging their classes (why aren’t classes auto-logged?) and makes it useless clutter, would love to see this be geared towards feedback and discussion so that we know what the class entails. The whole thing is just sort of messy. But honestly, I’m not going anywhere.

The right app for me. I’ve tried different apps and I own a Mirror but I always come back to Alomoves. I just like that the classes are not only focused on performance and maximum sweat but also what feels good. The calming aesthetic is also very pleasing. Other apps can be quite aggressive and loud (the music, the colors, the trainers), this one is consistent even for vigorous exercise. Not sure what it is maybe more feminine and caring vibe. I love all the mobility series and lower back pain classes, even my husband is doing them with me. Also the price is right. So definitely my favorite app. I wish I can play it on my Mirror ;)

Great product, but the app needs improvement. I love all the classes, but using the app on my iOS phone and Apple TV is frustrating. It’s very difficult to navigate on Apple TV and there is no home page view like on the website, I enjoy seeing the recommended sessions. When viewing on my phone the lists bounce around and change order constantly. The search should be for everything, not just series and community, I often search for a one off class. I would also like a better way of tracking my history, on my computer it shows a check next to the classes I have taken in my current series, but the Apple TV doesn’t show anything. I’m new to Alo Moves, but these are my initial observations.

Been using for years. I started with this platform when it was still codyapp. Favorites are still Meghan Currie, Dylan Werner and Patrick Beach; but also love now the additional Kundalini with Gurmukh!! Other new great teacher is Josh Kramer. I like the physically challenging classes but also the deep appreciation for yoga these teachers have. As for the app, the music option is great although mostly I play my own. If I could choose one upgrade would be to track progress and class like Peloton. Peloton has it figured out in terms of fitness tracker with the overview option to see the month at a glance. Overall it’s a high quality app that I will forever use- and I’ve tried a lot of platforms!! 4 stars only due to the element I spoke of…

I swear by this app. I’ve had recurring shoulder problems for about a year and a half now from rock climbing (I travel, making it difficult to get regular physical therapy). They have a shoulder pain relief series that has done wonders for me. This series is seriously a mini physical therapist in your pocket. My shoulder feels much more stable and mobile than it has all year. Additionally, I started the “discover your splits series.” I haven never been able to do the splits (probably about 6 inches off the ground). I started doing a daily split-stretch routine for about a month (by myself), and I wasn’t making any progress. THEN, i started this series and 11 days in...boom. I can do the splits on my right side. I still can’t believe it because I have never been able to do the splits in my whole life. I’m stull working on my left side, but I am actually so impressed by this app and its capabilities. Excited to explore more of their videos!!

Great videos, needs to be more user friendly. I accidentally paid for the whole year after a free trial, and I’m SO happy I did. The instructors and videos are some of the best yoga practices I’ve ever done, some even better than years of live classes. However, the app is absolutely packed with videos and needs much more organization. It’s very difficult to search for specific things and the whole app just feels bloated and hard to navigate. I would like to see some updates that make it more searchable, easier to find new practices, ways to stay updated to on your favorite instructors, and I would like some practice sections divided up by how much time you have to practice. All these features are already there! They’re just kind of hidden and hard to access

Love this app but…. I love Alo moves, been using it for years. I love the options, the teachers and everything. With that being said, I was a little disappointed when they had this September challenge to complete 9 classes in this series for a chance to be put in the drawing to win several different prizes. The challenge was very difficult, the classes were very advanced but I stuck it out. There were 3 different winners and I knew the odds of me winning were slim; however, after the challenge was over there was nothing. No email announcing the winner, nothing on the Alo app either. Although I clearly hadn’t won, It would have been nice to have some closing the the challenge. Some email or something on the app announcing the winners.. without it it made me wonder if they even selected people to win. Although I will continue to use this app faithfully because it IS great, it put a bad taste in my mouth.

Truly the best fitness content. I’ve tried a lot of fitness apps and this one is by far the best. Most others have really cheesy content where the instructors are trying too hard to be authentic and it doesn’t feel right. Alo Moves has genuinely authentic instructors that aren’t forced in my experience. The workouts are top notch and the video quality is impressive. I’m looking forward to seeing updates that make the app experience a bit smoother, but it’s already good enough to enjoy.

Great yoga app. Not really a yogi but I needed something extra and to help with de-bulking muscles from HIIT over the last 5 years. Glad I found the FB add—first week and the classes have been great so far. Great instructors and motivating to see some seriously toned and strong bodies. Reason for 4 stars is I use the Apple TV app a lot for this, and it doesn’t sync up my practice in real time, the Apple TV app’s filters are also non-functional making it harder to navigate. Other than that, this is a very professional presentation of yoga with top notch instructors.

Made me say bye to expensive studio classes!. I was a little overwhelmed by all of the classes initially, but during my free trial I found some of my favorites with the filter function and it’s so easy to find new ways to push myself. I love that they consistently add more videos too. Power Barre with Emily Sferra is everything I love about my studio barre classes but adds the cardio element that I really crave. She is able to create motivational energy over the screen and the music option is perfect. Sooo many other incredible instructors too so you never get bored.

Great content, ok execution. There are so many classes for yogis of all skill levels. I love the emphasis on skills like arm balances and handstands. The app has amazing content, but it's really hard to find what you're looking for. The classes destination gives you thousands of classes without an accessible tool to produce meaningful results. The difference between series and playlists isn't clear enough. The series / programs should have a way to measure progress, not just act as a playlist for videos. There's a missed opportunity here to guide students through a structured program. App is finicky and I find many flows to be not intuitive. If the team can figure out how to add more robust search and recommendations then this app would be great.

I found my gym and trainer replacement!. When my gym closed because of the pandemic I tried out Alo Moves and have been hooked ever since. I now have about six trainers at a fraction of the price. I can work out whenever I want. I get a huge variety of different kinds of workouts/movements for a range of skill levels. The video and music are high quality. The trainers are obviously skilled and I get a lot of informative and helpful training tips during the workouts. I’m a huge fan! Thank you for keeping me healthy during the pandemic and beyond.

Content is great. Absolutely love the content on the app, the instructors, etc! The app itself can be extremely annoying because it can be slow and finicky to get to the actual content. I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall it on my phone 3 or 4 times now because sometimes the app randomly won’t work. I’ll click on it, the logo will come up, then the app will just shut down. I’ve tried everything else to fix it and have reached out to alo moves with no response. Reinstalling the app seems to work. Again, the content itself is GREAT! The app could use work.

Beautiful Content. Well filmed, nice locations, easy to understand, great instructors. I wish there were more filters (time, length, difficulty). The videos are grouped by instructor and have these “series” which you can do. Personally I do yoga for working out so I wish there were more “studio” like experiences that were 1hour long or LIVE classes. I don’t like having to string together a bunch of 20 min workouts. They don’t put out a lot of new content. I will prob switch to something that has more new content / live workouts once this runs out to fit my workout style but I love this app so hopefully they will try to follow suite to how other apps are changing with covid.

Everything you need. Honestly I’ve had this app for almost 3 years and still impresses me how good this is. The variety of classes, challenges and not only yoga, but other mindfulness practices, classes, and more about meditation, breathing exercise. I like that it goes towards more challenging yoga style, but you can honestly find any level you are in. My favorites to do are meditations for sleep, warm-up workouts, yoga (up to 90 min!!), and breathing exercises. Every teacher knows how to explain you well alignment and that is really important to me to don’t get injured when training by myself at home.

Best yoga app 2022. Love this app so much they have so many different series and classes covering every genre of yoga. They have Pilates strength training and guided meditations. The classes are all downloadable so u can take your phone on a hike with you where u don’t have service and get your gratitude on. You can customize a workout with their unique method of stacking classes like adding a 10 minute morning flow with a 5 minute booty burn. The settings are serine with some exceptionally beautiful locations and instructors that make you smile. Shout out to tawny and Jacy my personal favs! 🙏🏽❤️ Thanks ALO!

Great App. Amazing Classes.. Best yoga app out there. The classes are outstanding. But the platform needs work as it’s only available on portable screen devices. An HDMI/Lightening Adapter is needed to watch it on a TV. Airplay capabilities aren’t available. Roku /fire stick/smart tvs are not compatible. Apple TV devices 5 and older are the only supported tv’s. But an HDMI adapter gets the job done. I wouldn’t recommend the app if you don’t have an adapter because it’s really not worth it to watch on an iPhone the classes are terrific as all the instructors just can’t really utilize and move w full functionality if you have to stare at a tiny screen

Love this app. I tried this app on a whim because I had heard it was the best yoga app out there and I was missing my in person yoga classes. I am so glad I did. I have been using for about 6 weeks now and it has really helped me amp up my yoga practice. I have been an avid yogi for years but my practice was stale because the classes at my gym, while enjoyable, are too repetitive and do not push me in new directions. Getting more of a challenge and having many different types of yoga classes available has gotten me more excited about yoga again. I can already see improvements in my strength - I had been working handstands for over a year on my own but I’ve progressed immensely in the last month through more focus and quality training. I will definitely be keeping my subscription even when the gym reopens.

Decent App, but…. The app is ok with some good content. The selection isn’t the greatest. However, their business practices are a bit deceptive, so make sure you know how it works. Typically, when you subscribe to something through the App Store, you can cancel through the App Store. Not this app. After the initial year, the price is just way too high for what you get. I did enjoy some of the workouts and some were staples for me. I just can’t justify $215 for the limited selection offered. So, if you need to cancel, you’ll need to do it through the website. You can’t even do it through the app. I believe they make it as difficult as possible so that people are either unaware or give up trying to cancel.

Love the classes but app needs some updating. I agree with everyone who has said the classes are great but the app needs some work. If I want to stream from the app it’s fine but I can’t get it to cast to my chromecast. They also haven’t updated the app to include playlists and the videos I save or complete on my computer don’t sync to app. I know it’s a work in progress so looking forward to when everything works seamlessly. Update: the playlists still aren’t on the app but the saved classes do sync now so that’s nice! I really wish there were ratings attached to classes because sometimes I get really overwhelmed and waste a lot of time picking which class so try.

Great, but some suggestions. I’ve used this app for 2-3 years now, and I love it. I have, however, noticed some recent problems with my saved classes. Originally it wasn’t showing them at all—now it shows them, but will only display the first 20 saved classes. Also, I would love if there was a way to filter by which classes you’ve done and which you haven’t! This would encourage me to try new workouts that maybe flew under the radar before. Overall, this app has been amazing, and I can’t see myself giving it up anytime soon.

Great content, but app has much to improve on. Top notch instructors and classes on Alo moves. I’ve been using it since covid started and haven’t been back to a yoga studio since then. The fitness classes are excellent as well. The app itself has a lot to improve on. The app crashes often and the search is pretty useless. Any search query, such as a pose you want to work on, will not return as many results as it should. Would also love more playlists and an auto play feature to make stacking classes more seamless. Help with discovering new classes is also desirable when there are so many options. Many yoga instructors have left so would also love to see more variety in teaching styles. Ashley Galvin and Josh Kramer are great, but I’m itching for more variety. The Apple TV app is even worse than the mobile app. Filters don’t even work and the app does not auto refresh with the newest classes. I’ve been using this app for two years and have been looking forward to overall improvements in the app’s usability. I haven’t seen that yet.

Great Content, Clunky Functionality. Alo has put together an AMAZING collection of videos for all kinds of practices at all levels and intensities. I use this multiple times a day to get my workouts in, recover, and even meditate to bring it all to a close. Unfortunately, the filter function isn’t great when exploring classes as it doesn’t always respect the time stamps or the style. The video and audio quality are great, but the pause/play function doesn’t alternate automatically and you have to toggle each time (very annoying when taking a skill class and you need to rewatch). Also, in the most recent update the app keeps crashing when some series are tapped on (this happens to me for the Power Barre series every time).

Inspiring and diverse class styles. I love alo moves! Yoga/meditation were always on the peripheries of my mind, but I never fully embraced them. I picked up alo moves because I was interested in the 21 Days yoga series by Briohny Smith (found out via Instagram). Honestly I’ve been in the app almost every day since. And, I’m so happy to be practicing every day because of genuine interest and feeling supported by the instructors in the classes I’ve taken. It’s amazing how they can do that even though I’ve never taken a class with any of them in person! The reason for my 4 star rather than 5 is because of 1) a recent app upgrade they’ve made where they redesigned the home page and I miss the large hero images that pointed out new classes and 2) Wish there the community feature had more to it.

Try with a purchase of Alo wear!. I got a free-month trial from purchasing Alo sportswear and decided to give it a shot while quarantining. This app is no joke! I would heavily recommend it to travelers who lift regularly and would like to get into yoga but don’t want to or have access to yoga classes. The download feature, although only in apps, was a huge plus! The only downside is that it doesn’t have the option to play music in the background as the web version does; you can play your own, but the volume ratio gets finicky.

Great app but.... Love the app, love the variety, love the workouts...but as other have said, it needs more organization or a better way to search. There is a filter on the classes but it is limited the instructor & type of class (barre, meditation, vinyasa). A few added filters would be a huge help like length of class, level & intensity, especially for those of us new to yoga type classes. And there is no way to make suggestions or contact them through the app, the provide only a physical mailing address. So making the suggestion through my rating (I personally think that’s poor customer service).

Good but needs improvements. I like this app mostly for its contents and exercises than for the app itself. I think it could be so much better. Filtering is non-existent in my saved exercises; you can only sort by duration, newest and alphabetically. Also, when I’m browsing new exercises and series, you can’t tell if you’ve already added them to your practice or not, unless you actually click on it. I like variety and if I’m browsing for new things, it would be great if the app could tell you if you’ve already added it. Lastly, I understand Alo is mostly a yoga brand, but please please please more barre exercises! If they are with Emily, even better… I absolutely love her exercises.

5 stars for content; 3 for interface/app. Echoing what a lot of reviews have to say on content. It feels “deeper” and more “authentic” than counterpart programs at Peloton and Apple Fitness which are very much designed to fit the specific allotted time. But perhaps that same perk is what is making it difficult for Alo Moves to figure out how to improve its filtering? What if I want to find a strength focused yoga practice that’s less than 65 minutes with X instructor? Or a pilates class with or without equipment? Or a glutes focused strength class? I’d use this SOOOOO much more if some of those basic searching features that were accustomed to in every other fitness app and/or tech-centric part of our lives.

It’s SO good!!. I am an advanced lifter type dude (from CrossFit, to cage fighting, owning a gym, etc etc) and had a lot of heavy knot type soft tissue type injuries and wanted to completely ease off the weights until I was 100%. This has been helping immensely as it’s all the little muscles that weren’t getting worked that allowed those knots to form in the first place. If your goal is something like mine, don’t forget about massages, foam rolling, PT, etc. but utilize this. For reference I’m doing daily yoga on this app, then Dylan’s fascia stretching, then some strength work on this app if I feel up to it (body weight stuff).

Glitchy App. The Idea of Alo is better than it’s app. The App has improved since first downloading and subscribing, but there are still glitches that make it a hassle to use the app. A few examples are when you are scrolling through videos. every couple of scrolls of the finger the loading lags taking you back to where you were two previous scrolls ago. The saved videos no longer actually save or show on “your practice”. So every time you look for a video you are scrolling through the whole category which is very time consuming. Lastly there is a 50% chance that the app will not connect for air play when you try. All of these things together make it very frustrating to deal with the app and I’m actually thinking about finding a different app because of it. Hoping they see this and fix those glitches before it actually come to that.

Not compatible with AppleTV. I love the classes but when I try to use the app on my AppleTV, it is terrible. There is no way to find barre classes. Did they remove the barre classes? All I see is yoga. The section to choose a style doesn’t have anything on the drop-down menu. Whoever is in charge of categorizing these classes needs to be fired. The competitors like Peloton and FitOn are way more organized. There is no way to do airplay or screencast from my iPhone. It says no devices available. The only way to find a class is to search on your phone, find the class you want to take, and then go to AppleTV, search by instructor and scroll through all of the classes until you find the class. The classes are very good and tend to be more challenging than other apps but the technical issues make it so incredibly frustrating.

Great content, interface could use a little work. I love the workouts on here and how often they're updated – it really does feel more like a studio experience than your typical workout app. However, the app interface does feel a little clunky. I can't immediately pause a video by touching the center of the screen, and it often instead sends my video ahead or back. Also, it would be great to have the radio interface better integrated into the controls, rather than having to click until it shows up in the upper right hand corner. Otherwise, have had a great experience so far!

Small investment with huge results. I’ve been doing this for 12 weeks and it’s been truly transformative. Even on days where I don’t feel like I have time to workout, I can always carve off 10 or 20 minutes for a class and be shaking and dripping in sweat after. The range in classes—length wise, target areas, and level of difficulty—is exceptional. Love the instructors. Love the creativity and energy. Love how I feel now that I’ve incorporated yoga workouts when I don’t have 2+ hours to go to a studio or do a conventional yoga class (though the app has those too). Also love incorporating sound baths and meditation journeys to my routine. Honestly cannot day enough good things.

Very happy!. So easy to search for specific exercise catered to your needs ! The intermediate level was perfect for me. Only had this app for a few days and I’m excited to do my daily practices every day and commit ! Can’t wait to improve my flexibility! Highly rate this app !!

More cardio workouts. Hi! I love this app, love the instructors, would be nice if you add more cardio workouts and a feature where people get workout according their needs, not just series, for example, workouts to lose weight or workouts for the abs, etc.

Safe and enjoyable. Instructors clear explanation of poses with modifications. Very beneficial while in iso. Will be continuing with these workouts. Thank you

Can’t Sign Up On AppStore. Alo moves has the most amazing content and instructors but twice now I have tried to sign up on the AppStore only to have it charge my account and not give me access to the app. Staff just tell me to go onto the website and sign up there but the price is higher on the website. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ It’s once star till this is fixed.

SO MUCH CONTENT FOR THE PRICE. I’m not new to training, or at home training but in the past I have found it hard to find the workout apps that motivate me. So far I have only used the Fitness classes on Alo as I enjoy HIIT, Tabata, mixed strength and cardio type fitness. It has all different class lengths too depending on how much time you have. Once you find some instructors that suit you, it’s such a great go to. A significant con for me though is the lack of music (option offered is pretty bad). I tend to put one ear pod in so I can hear instructions while listening to music, but not quite the same.

Check your subscription. Been an Alo Moves user since Day One. If you’re interested in the great platform - then please continue - it is really good user experience. My complaint is about their inability to support long term users as they kept charging me a higher fee - even tho they reduced it for new subscribers. I had a reminder to pay my ongoing fee (over $30US more expensive) and when queried they reduced it to the lower fee. Shows how little they respect those who support them from the beginning. I suggest regularly checking any subscription and verifying against their promotions/website regularly - as they can’t be trusted.

Over explaining of exercises but great workout!. Loooved the workout, but as a busy mum of two a little less explanation would help to get the workout done faster. 😂 but this could also be that it is a beginner workout?

No timer. Hard to keep track of times in exercises - Would be a simple improvement that would make a huge difference. Hard to navigate and it would be great to put a program together based on goals. I find you spend too make time searching.

Love it. Highly recommend ❤️

!!!. I’m literally blown away with this app. The only fitness and well-being app u need. I wish I found this earlier in lockdown

Awesome. Highly motivating, informative explanations and unique classes with great workouts that work!

A great resource. I am really resonating with AloMoves. Many different styles of classes, many different teachers and also different takes on the practice and interpretation of yoga. I highly recommend

Can’t sign up. Just spent 30 mins trying to create a membership on my iPad and then tried my phone. The app obviously has issues as it’s not streamlined and easy to set up. I complete everything and nothing happens. Very annoyed to have my time wasted

Bring back the comments feature. I loved this app when it was more yoga and we could comment. I don’t see why you would disable the comments ☺️

I like this app. Such a great idea to have fitness, Yoga and meditation in your fingertips. I like the verity of the exercise and the high quality of videos. Good instructors too. You have what you need. Also, The environment that exercise is being filmed is brilliant. It’s nice and full of light. It gives me energy.

Best fitness app. I’ve been using Alo Moves every day (multiple times a day!) during the lockdown. Hands down to all the teachers, they produce very high quality content.

Love everything Alo is offering.. I joined Alo for yoga, when Australia went into lockdown. Then I found mediation and fitness, all what I need in 1 app. So I cancelled other apps. I'm loving the variety and choice. The beginner's through to advanced classes and series. This is the perfect online place to go whenever I need to keep up my yoga, fitness and mediation practice. The teachers are highly skilled. Thanks for putting this online platform together. 🌺🦋🙏🦋🌺

Aloe moves app. I mainly use this app for yoga or Pilates/ core/ barre classes. The classes are awesome and you have a broad variety to choose from to find the right instructor, style, difficulty or intensity for everyone. I love this app and have been using it for the last 2 years. The only problem is that due to technical difficulties classes sometimes stop and the app freezes in the middle of the class which is very annoying especially if it happens multiple times within one workout. Now that the number of classes using weights have increased, it would be great also be great to have a filter for body weight classes or classes using props.

Best yoga classes and teachers ever. I absolutely love Alo Moves. The classes are all great, the teachers are incredible and the variety is amazing. So grateful to be able to be inspired and progress all in my own home.

My Favourite time of the day doing 30 minutes to an hour of ALO. Love this APP it is so great. I learn so much and enjoy every minute of it.

Good app slightly annoying font colour. The light grey used for titles that aren't selected just needs to be a bit darker

The app is absolute garbage for the price. It has now gotten to the point where both the app AND the webpage glitches basically anytime I try to work out. It keeps locking me out and not recognising my log in, I have to reset my password and even if I can get onto my account, it often doesn’t save my workouts so I have to go looking for them all over again. It has been going on for weeks and I’m at the point of asking for a refund because I basically can’t use it when I need to.

Good app, terrible customer service. I’ve been a member for years. The app and videos are pretty good and great instructors. Sometimes the music choices are terribly chosen and don’t suit the class at all. I have contacted them about this but nothing changes. The reason I am giving them such a low score is their very poor, unresponsive customer service. Emails are left unanswered for more than a week. The only way to get anyone to respond is to call (meaning an expensive international call from Australia for me). I have been trying to contact them for almost two weeks to sort out a subscription issue and it’s still not sorted. It’s incredibly frustrating to be treated this way, especially as a loyal customer. I’m not sure the app, as good as it is, is worth the terrible service.

Alo Moves. Alo has been my go to for strength, barre and general fitness for 3 years! The platform is user friendly, has great teachers and the best bit is not having to use precious time to travel to a gym or studio. Highly recommend for fitness. Unfortunately, the app has moved away from traditional yoga classes and in recent times very little new yoga content has been released. Recent yoga classes typically focus on toning, sizzling etc, rather than yoga. Sure, core strength is important in yoga but if you’re looking for a balanced yoga practice with a range of new classes I suggest looking at some of the other online yoga options available.

Great App. I live in Australia. Love all the options and classes available. From not knowing anything about yoga I now feel confident to try different classes and disciplines including barre. Would highly recommend to all ages and stages.

Music too loud. Music is ridiculously loud you can barely hear the instructor Also can’t see where I can save workouts for future reference

Content is 10/10. If you’re looking for amazing teachers, breadth of content, different disciplines and approaches, then this is the app. However, the user experience of the app could be greatly improved. Simple tasks, like sorting instructors alphabetically (so you can find whom you’re looking for) are not available.

Best exercise app. Literally best app for all kinds of exercise for anyone that is into yoga and fitness. I tried few apps and this one is the best. I am advanced in yoga but I am enjoying HIIT and pilates very much with this app. I had technical issues when I changed my phone and support team is amazing and they fixed everything in no time for me. Big thumbs up.

great home fitness app. A well designed platform with high quality classes. Heavy yoga focus, wish there was more barre style classes.

Best fitness / health app. Emily & Bianca - my two go-to’s. My day kicks off in the perfect way each morning with their classes. Thank you! 💕

PERFECT FOR ALL CAPABILITIES. Alo Moves is so diverse. Everyone will find something they fall in love with on the app... from Pilates to high intensity strength sessions. Clear picture quality, great sound, tough workouts and music plays in the background. Highly recommend.

App keeps crashing. I’ve been a longtime user of Alo Moves, and previously Cody. Many of my favourite teachers and classes are housed on this app. The latest transformations seem to be making the app increasingly buggy and unreliable to the point where now the app crashes upon startup and I cannot access the content. This is unacceptable for an app I pay so much (and have paid so much across many years!) to access. The developers seem more focussed on selling further products than providing the service users are paying for. Extremely disappointed.

Great content. I love the content on this app but I wish we had the option to just purchase individual programs like we used to be able to, instead of an ongoing membership.

Great app!😆. GreT app but issues with chrome cast are a big loss. Happened on multiple devices, 😟 otherwise I love every thing about this app. High quality videos and well though through programs

Changed my morning routine. I love all the different class options and the app has helped me improve my flexibility and helped with my spinal pain. I love it

Charged twice during trial. I was offered 60 additional days as trial to consider my cancellation which I accepted. Two days after I was charged twice. When I asked about my charges and requesting my refund, they decided to cancel my 57 days remaining without proper explanation. They have acknowledged only one charge by error and processed my refund which I have not received after 8 days. The second charge is still not acknowledged by ALO Moves. Terrible customer experience and misleading trials and associated charges.

Best app. Love this app. You don’t need anything else, everything you need is in this app! On top of that the subscription is affordable. ❤️

Awesome App awesome content. I’m so glad I found all moves! It’s definitely one of the best websites and has the best teachers. It can get a bit overwhelming at first because of all the content especially if you’re a beginner! I do wish I had access to ask the teachers or someone questions to help tailor your practice to suit you. Other than that it’s a great investment.

Absolutely amazing programs within Alo Moves!. I LOVE all that Alo moves provides and how it helps me practice self love and self care and doing it in a beautiful way that feels good and also challenges my body and mind. I'm a raving fan! It's easy to use, easy to find things I want, and makes me want to use it every day and on days that I've missed it I've noticed it in my energy, body and health. It's a "must have" part of my health and wellness practices. Thank you Alo Moves and all the instructors who provide all the value within this space. So worth getting! ❤️

So good!. I had to search to find the workouts and trainers that suited me, but the platform makes it easy to add them to a personalised practice list. Keen to work out each time because the amazing variety and targeted training. Well done Alo Moves

Glitchy. The idea and content of the app seems good. There are tab glitches within the app; get help links to terms of service, and incorrect information within the app, for example. Given the ‘2500’ items available the search facility took me to a repeating group of 6-7 classes. Given the investment required there should be a more professional platform.

Excellent yoga and meditation app. I started using Alo Moves after trialling a few other apps and online programs during COVID lockdown in Australia. Gyms are now open again but I’m sticking with Alo as the convenience allows me to workout without me having to leave the house before my toddler wakes. The production quality and variety is unparalleled and I look forward to trying some of the strength and cardio classes to mix up my yoga practice. The quick 10 minute work flows are the perfect antidote for working from home.

Wow! Great postnatal corework!. Great postnatal class! Loved this! Instructor really good. Want to do more of her classes. I would love more postnatal classes please!

Best fitness app ever!. After more than twenty years training at the gym and most of that time I was instructor myself, I have discovered this app. I am hooked. Such great content for the price. You will want some basic gym equipment at home such as a mat and dumbbells to get the most out of it though.

Terrible with airplay. Trying to use airplay with a Samsung frame, every few minutes the video stops streaming and when I look at the phone screen it’s got the app video overlaying the airplay video. It’s a bit ironic how frustrating a yoga app could be

Trained professionals on one app. I use Alo moves as my single source of strength and mobility training, and I can’t fault it. It has all the materials and workouts i'm chasing.

Such variety!. I love Alo, it has everything I want from hard workouts, to various yoga streams, breath work and meditation. My one stop shop.

Love this app. I love that there are so many teachers and classes that suit my need. I can choose intensity, duration, style and instructors that I want on that day 😊 It’s great that I can practice yoga at home 🧘‍♀️ It definitely worth the money for the membership.

Impossible to cancel. It’s impossible to cancel this app, when you try to cancel it it takes you through circles of links with each one saying use the other one with only option to cancel it through Apple Store. I subscribed to it through Instagram and Apple Store is not recognising that I have a subscription, so there is no way of cancelling it. Total nightmare

Amazing app!. When I first downloaded it I was worried about the price point, but I am loving how many incredible workouts are on here. There is everything from strength to dance to meditation. I’ll definitely be keeping this app and recommending it to everyone I know

Love it but UX needs slight change. Love it but would be nice to get preview of workouts and equipment needed. I bounce between mobile and desktop all the time as I enjoy the suggestion on the mobile side but have to go to desktop for equipment or search for other classes. Desktop version is great at listing equipment and search but the suggestions aren’t as much as before and need to click three times to log workouts.

Bianca is the best!!!!. Bianca is the absolute best! Suzu

Love Alo!. I can say that Alo Moves has changed my life! I’ve learned SO MUCH and I built so much strength with Alo ! I will never quit! My absolute favourites are Ashley Galvin, Josh Kramer and Dylan Werner.

Frequent crashes. The app frequently freezes or has errors which cause you to not be able to sign in. Please fix these issues.

App is insufferable. Would be cool if you could look through the app more than 30 seconds without it crashing. You can’t click on classes or series, save or unsave them. Instead of coming out with more content, use the money to fix your app. You can’t look through it at all without it not working.

App is a mess. So buggy you can’t even finish a class

New to this. Enjoying the Alo moves so far👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼👌🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Phone app is terrible. The actual workouts are great, but the phone app sucks. On the computer the filters are more advanced, but on the phone you can't apply any filters, no favourites, nothing. I have reached out to tech support several times and they have told me to tell development what is missing. Nothing, not even a response. It's too expensive to feel like I'm just using youtube.I'm angry as this is my third year, and still no change. Really poor customer service.

All right. The yoga is great. The app sucks. The my practice portion of it is frequently unavailable and air dropping never works. Other apps do work with air drop, so it’s not on this end. Would be great if they’d fix these issues so we can actually enjoy the content.

Feedback. I cant provide anywhere in the app to provide feedback so here it is: 1. I use ipad. My practice is not loading all the series for the pas few weeks. I have to use search. 2. True strength practice II, strength practice 1 video does not play video after a few minutes. Even if i download it. 3. Recent release changed then album arts for some series, that was a very bad idea because users are used the previous ones which was a meaningful picture and made it easy to find a video in a grid, but now its only faces of the teacher. I spend a lot more time trying to find videos. Frustrating, especially early in the morning when you just want to get into the workout. Otherwise i love the app. It changed my life. Thank you.

Terrible. Virtually impossible to cancel the account and you get charged for another yearly subscription. Terrible customer support and website!

⭐️. Have had this app for almost two years and I never want to leave! No matter what class you choose, you're bound to discover yourself in a variety of ways

Life changing. Finding Alo moves was a change in lifestyle and one of the best organized and executed apps. Great variety of classes and levels. Absolutely worth the annual price

App crashing. The app crashes as soon as you open it.

Classes. Tempo is great as is instruction. Wish you had better classification as intermediate ranges from beginner flow to intermediate. But you should have an intermediate / experienced with more tempo and harder sequences…. ❤️

Music. Music doesn't always align with the teacher or the class. in my opinion music is extremely important and curated playlist by class would be giving you a true 100% mark (:

I like it. Definitely a lot more challenging than I thought. I knew I had issues with mobility, but damn. I am so much stiffer than I thought. Still a good full body workout

App crashes constantly. This app is the absolute worst. It crashes constantly during the middle of workouts, then won’t let you fast forward the video when you restart it. The actual workouts are great when the videos work, but it’s rare that it works through an entire video.

Customer support. I really like the app, but the app support is pretty bad. I’ve been trying to change my subscription for about a week now and have contacted customer service without any response. The most bizarre thing is that my credit card has been charged for several months while I’ve been using the service, but once I log into the account on my computer or any other devise it does not register that I am a member.

Seems great but doesn’t work. Downloaded it because I was getting Instagram ads for a 7 day Pilates glow series. The programs and classes seem awesome but it’s ridiculously buggy. It never lets me sign in properly. I have to close and open the app multiple times to play a video on my phone. It doesn’t work at all on my iPad. Disappointed.

Content is good. App is horrible.. This app is so messed up. I haven’t restart the app for many many times.

Global best teaching. The art of yoga is so extremely difficult to teach properly and effectively, Alo yoga searches and obtains globally the best instructors and brings them to you. No more being stuck by the geography of available live in class teaching that often becomes pridefilled and arrogant in being the only ones available; instead if the teaching is bad or wrong in the world of Alo it is removed to bring only the best of the best. For the price of a live one hour class per month, you receive yoga done properly limitlessly in your own home on demand. Thank you Alo 💕

Subscription Transparency Terrible. I signed up for a 6 week program that was advertised on Instagram. Been trying to cancel my subscription for 2 months now. If you are confident in the product you offer, you would allow people to subscribe/unsubscribe easily. As soon as I feel “roped in” you’ve not only lost my business, you will get poor reviews. I shouldn’t have to contact Apple or my bank to cancel. Its crooked.

My daily practice. By far the best yoga app. World class instructors. Classes go from beginner to advanced. Would be nice to have Apple Watch compatibility.

Love it!. This app offers great selection of advanced classes and has a lot of amazing instructors. The app itself however is now officially the worst I’ve ever used, has been getting worse with every version release. It often freezes, does not sort classes properly and interface is extremely not intuitive. Locating the class you want is nearly impossible. I also wish they returned that feature that lets you see the artist and name of the song that is playing in the background.

it’s awesome. I wanted to become flexible because I go to gymnastics every Friday so I wanted to do it more And this app is mine but it does cost 20$ a month so otherwise it’s great

Awesome but…. Emily Sferra is the only instructor I use. She should try and put out more new videos. When you filter to palates and barre, there should be a way to filter quickly to only barre instructors. Also a filter by type of exercise would be a great addition. Like filter for core. Or filter for abs. Lastly Emily Sferra is so professional and doesn’t use the Alo cult jargon in her workouts. She is so good at instructing she doesn’t waste anytime talking nonsense.

Stay away. I cancelled my account and still charged I see others have had a problem too this is ridiculous don’t use them.

Great fitness app. I’ve been using this app for about 3 years, and it’s really helped keep up my fitness routine. I can easily switch up my routine if I’m getting bored. Lots of options for yoga and fitness. Pilates is starting to make a strong appearance on this app too. The reason I don’t give this app 5 stars is because it’s unable to track the workouts I’ve completed if I use google cast, which I do all the time to watch it through my tv. And it doesn’t always play the music through google cast. So just some bugs they could improve on in this app. Otherwise I highly recommend to anyone who prefers working out at home, or wants to kick off their fitness routine.

Payment options are confusing. I am curious the difference between the annual and the monthly. If you go month by month, you are saving more money than paying annually.

They make it hard to unsubscribe intentionally. This is a rip off. They intentionally make it hard to unsubscribe. When I thought I’ve unsubscribed, apparently I didn’t, and they continued charging me.

Good content but double charged. There’s tons of content on this app. It helped me find workouts I could do at home that defiantly made a difference in my physique. Unfortunately they double charged me for years and have not responded to my request for a refund.

200 HR teacher approves. Best yoga app instructors are high level.

I like it but Apple TV app needs updating. First of all,I do love the Alo Moves app and the range of classes is awesome but the platform still needs improvement. This is a review of the app and not the classes. My phone is small and I wear glasses so it’s kind of sad that the app on my phone is better than the one on my tv. The Apple TV app seems to have been neglected. You can’t search effectively. The filter by style does not work, there are no style options. You can’t save playlists. The playlist you save on the phone app is not available on the tv app. There’s no music. Though I’m not there for the music it would be nice if the function always worked. Beyond the Apple TV app, I would also say it would be nice if you could make your own playlist by combining classes you would like to take over a span of a week or even a month. Because searching for a class is so time consuming in this app which is worse when you can’t filter by a style. I hope there will be improvements made on the tv app. In the meantime I guess I need to toggle between my phone and tv apps to get the full experience.

App keeps crashing. I love alo moves in terms of the variety, classes and instructors it offers. However , I am unable to access any of the classes offline on the app because of a bug that hasn’t been fixed and it’s been two weeks + with no resolution.

Good Workouts, layout, lacks some features.. Like the classes/ instructors, but I wish there was a feature to set reminders for workouts to make it more accessible.

Airplay. Nice selection of work outs but airplay wont work anymore

Good. It’s good however I feel like if you want mainly only barre and Pilates based workouts that there are plenty of free YouTube for that. If you want yoga this is your app- just not my thing yoga

Emily S is the only great thing about Alo.. I have too bad the only amazing, genuine, not fuller of herself teacher on Alo is Emily Sierra. She is a true professional and the only instructor worth subscribing for. The other wannabe woke culte bullionismes on Alo is why I didn’t rate higher. tried Alo moves for three days. I’m a ballet dancer and barre instrhi. Thuctor at a local gym. I wanted quick targeted at home workouts to build strength and keep me fit between classes. I filled out the survey asking only for strength, fitness and barre classes. I tried six different instructors and about ten classes so far and have mostly been annoyed at how much the instructors talk through the class. I asked for an instructor who was instructional but I think they are mostly motivational which comes across as try- hard or disingenuous. I do not do yoga and I most of the instructors use yoga terminology to instruct in poses. Which is super annoying for someone who doesn’t do yoga. Keep the yoga for the yoga classes. I just want a class that gets right to business, I don’t want an instructor to tell me to sit in prayer pose and bring my hands to my heart and namaste, or be mindful in my practice, it’s just a workout, it’s really too silly and wasting time. I find all the instructors so far are cult- minded all talking the same Alo jargon and acting a bit phony. I have a few days left in my free trial, I’m looking for that no nonsense instructor who is all about a sweaty workout and not their tattoos, hair, outfit or trendy expressions. I would like to get in the zone with some good music too, and not listen to some phony spiritual chit chat while I’m working out. I’m committed to finding at least two instructors that are good before I choose to unsubscribe.

Great But. Wish I could filter Series by Intensity level!

Great content, terrible app. Unreliable app. Works for a while then all classes lock and doesn’t recognize my subscription that is set to auto renew every month. When I try to log back in it’s unsuccessful then try online and firewalls block my IP address. Customer service bots offer me a month free but do absolutely nothing to fix. Took a break from this app for a few months and decided to try again because the content is truly wonderful, but the app failures are back happening again and I’m about to give up for good.

Fantastic!. So many workouts, and new ones added all the time. With any intensity, difficulty and length a person wants!

Yoga Master Nate. The best ever

Won’t be renewing. Won’t be renewing my subscription. I find the instructing severely lacking to the point that it’s dangerous. If the instructor can do the splits, you’re expected to. If the instructor can do a headstand, you’re expected to. They rarely offer alternative postures or instruct on how to work up to the final pose. This app is either for beginners or advanced, not if you’re in between.

Best App around. This app gives you everything you need and more. It’s so easy to navigate through, if you know what you’re looking for or not, you want to focus on a specific technique or you’re in a specific mood, type it in and it’s there. Love this app and haven’t taken a class I don’t like!

You almost had my money!. None of the music works for these classes, either in app or when I cast to my Tv. It’s just the instructor in complete silence and I can hear them breathing with no background music to distract.. so I won’t be going forward with the subscription. I wanted to like this app so bad.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO ALO MOVES. They will not let you unsubscribe and will bill you forever. I’ve been trying to unsubscribe for YEARS!! They bill me $30 per month despite my request to stop.

Great for a quick and challenging workout. I have been using Alo for 3 years now. The instructors seem like real people, they look like they are suffering a bit as well (but not as much as I am). I’m a cyclist and am really enjoying building my core, which has made me stronger on climbs. The pain relief series is also very good.

10/10. The best yoga app hands down , good quality, variety, and the best teachers and visuals

Horrible customer service. Honestly classes and teachers are fun but one day the app denied my access even if I had a year membership and the actual Alo customer service team was so disrespectful and took months to answer me giving me attitude on top of it. Not worth it with all the app bugs to deal with them

Life Changing App. my naturopathic doc recommended this app to help strengthen my knees and hips. it has mad a world of difference in eradicating chronic pain in my body! my absolute favvvv series is Kayla N. “Discover Your Splits” i’m making so much new room in my body and the strength i’ve gained from 10-15 mins a day is unmatched. only on day 18! not to mention how affordable ?! Access so to much amazing content for such an affordable price makes it that much better

Great App - minor tweaks needed. Update: the recent design refresh is cool, but please move the play/pause button back to the middle of the screen. Trying to hit that tiny pause button, between two other buttons, while your hands are shaking from your tough workout...not fun. Love the app. Came on to follow specific instructors, but I am quickly finding more teachers that I love. Great range of beginner all the way to advanced. The production value is really excellent on the videos. Good place to learn and grow.

Notification Error. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 instead of 5 star review is because the app itself bugs the crap out or me. The constant notifications but they won’t clear once I open the app is DRIVING ME NUTS! I have deleted and reinstalled the app, signed out, checked every tab and nothing, notifications just there acting like there’s something new. Aside from that, app is great.

Great home workout app. I have had Alo for almost 2 years. They always have new content and they have a variety of workout styles, durations, and intensities. I mainly did the yoga style workouts but after getting bored with that I did more inversion style yoga. I was able to do the first handstand of my life! After I accomplished that, I decided I was getting bored and am now doing their Pilates and barre. Great content and instructors.

Excellent all around. Received the subscription as a gift and let the “dust” collect around this app, then fired it up and I love it!! So many options and possibilities to create a 5,10,15,20,30 min work out based on what you want to do and how much time you have. The instructors are easy to follow and seem appropriate for most activity levels. Thank you!!

Account Database Doesn’t Seem To Be Synced. I just got the Black Friday deal for 50% annual membership after the 14 day free trial. Even though my account when I’m signed in on my web browser says that my free trial has started and I’ll be paying the 50% annual membership in 2 weeks, the app is still telling me I need to sign up for a membership and start the free trial even though I’m signed in with that same account, so I don’t have any of membership access that I’m supposed to have. Please fix this issue

Love the instructors but the app can be frustrating. I LOVE the instructors on this app. I can fulfill all my needs for yoga, strength training, and Pilates right here. However, the most frustrating thing about the app is that although you can download classes for use offline, I have never been able to access my classes when I don’t have WiFi or service. I can’t even sign in to the app if I am not online, so I can’t get to any of the downloaded classes. I don’t understand this at all. The app also freezes a lot. At least in my experience.

Best workout EVER!!!. I absolutely love alomoves!! Not only do they have a huge variety of exercises for both body and mind they also have a boatload of trainers to choose from. Kupah James as my favorite!!!! I love complex movement and his workouts leave me feeling like a million bucks. After I’m done I know that I worked hard because because my body lets me know. I feel stronger everyday!! Thanks Kupah

Best investment. It’s been almost two years since I am an Alo Moves user and it’s been amazing. I am a yoga teacher and I felt that I was stuck doing the same asanas, with the many teachers in Alo I have learned so much, I have been able to expand my personal practice and also what I teach my students. I am absolutely satisfied by the professionalism of the teachers. Thanks for this amazing app.

Quality classes, clean look. I’m really impressed with the variety of instructors and classes Alo Moves has to offer. It seems they’ve recently expanded to offer more meditation, which I’ve been enjoying as well. I especially love their barre classes- I can work out and sweat in any amount of time I have. The esthetic is very clean and bright- classy and modern. Super happy!

incredibly disappointed by app functionality. I was so optimistic to try this app and it missed the mark on functionality. The app would never connect to screen share preventing me from projecting to any tv (and I tried … everything was installed, re installed, unplugged, plugged back in, set to factory setting, the works.) I then decided to just try on my iPad since nothing was working and the music would never play on any of the videos I tried, the video quality was dismal (even with strong Wi-Fi, and no others apps had issues). Incredibly disappointing. The functionality ruined it for me and I don’t feel I ever was able to try the content.

Life altering. I can’t believe how much content is on this site! I can find everything from a workout that is so hard I can barely do it to the most relaxing restorative poses, sound baths and meditations when that’s what I need. The depth and breadth of the yoga training alone is impressive too. The instructors have incredible knowledge and talent. And I love being able to download content to take with me to the beach or wherever I go.

Great classes with 1 exception…. I have started the morning flow class. I’m on day 5. I really love the instructional aspect of the sessions. I wish when the instructor goes into the end meditation, she finishes it too, guiding me me back out. Also, I have I a iPhone 13 and I can’t figure out how to integrate it into “Health” so my classes are tracked and I get credit. Other than those two things, I really enjoy this app. I actually suspended my subscription to Asana Rebel for this one.

Tawnys melodramatic morning stretch!!!. Coming back from pregnancy and a couple of knee hip and spinal injury I have not stretched worked out weight lifting in a while. Early thirties trying to make sense of my workout routine with a new child and little time as my new role as a mom and wife. Looking to exist and take care of my body becoming accustomed to my new lifestyle and surroundings.

Significantly improved my life!. When my job changed, I no longer had the time or money to go to my gym where member fees kept rising. This app has given me back mental and physical balance. I use the fitness and meditation classes daily whenever my hectic schedule allows a break. I was worried I wouldn’t have the motivation without a trainer or class but I do and feeling better within my budget allows me to be a good teacher, mother and person.

Terrible customer service with no room to consider case by case situations. I would give zero stars if possible! Do not get suckered into signing up. They auto renew membership even if the sign in has never been used for over a year. Predatory in my opinion. Customer service was terrible. Apparently management does not look into issues on a case by case rather a standard “too bad!” Since they already have your money. I told them to check to see if the account has even been used because it has not but still, it was a straight NO and they will not even consider portion rate it if canceled today.( I had five months more of the annual membership)

Great Yoga Practices. I have had series purchased a while back but during the pandemic I got the subscription to add variety and some challenges into my practice! Bri and Mackenzie I really do love, they have such great energy and mix of restorative to yoga + HIIT but there are so many more instructors I am trying now that brings something new and different to their classes! Great variety for sure, for an advanced practitioner I have found some useful tips and practices!

Seriously the Best. This is the best yoga app. I have recommended it to all of my friends who do yoga. I love that there are so many different teachers and styles. You can save the classes you like to “your practice.” If you don’t particularly like a class, you just don’t save or do it again. My favorite teacher is Ashley Galvin. While some teachers seem focused on how they look, Ashley truly focuses on the yoga. She provides clear directions that are so easy to follow. This app has had a significant positive impact on my yoga practice.

Best Yoga Anything!. This app has seriously changed my yoga game. Now, I can do assisted handstands and poses I never thought would be possible. The instructors are world class, and the practices are on par with expensive classes you would take in person. I seriously can’t say enough good things about Alo. Oh, and these programs will seriously get you toned and do whatever you need them to do.

Mindfulness + yoga all in one app. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟What a beautiful concept and excellent execution. Has such amazing teachers that really embody the spiritual and fitness world. There is seeking to find mindfulness and integrate holistic spirituality look no further. My only nitpick is that when connecting to Apple play on my TV so music does not transfer over for some reason. Besides that it is a brilliant app!!!

I am actually going to subscribe!. I am a chronic free-trial user. I have merely scratched the surface on the content available with Alomoves. I look forward to taking advantage of all that this app has to offer. This has already become an integral part of my wellness journey. While any app can have tons of content, I was hooked on the content produced by Calvin Corzine and Avery Whitmore. Thank you both for helping me on my journey.

Best $20 a month I’ve ever spent. This app has been an incredible learning tool and has provided me with so much inspiration, information and incredible challenges in my practice. I live in a somewhat rural area and normally wouldn’t have access to the range of classes and instructors offered on alomoves. It is a Lifesaver during quarantine and is diversifying my practice. It is also enhancing my education as I make my way through CYT200. Thanks

Please update refund policy. I purchased this app last year and forgot it was coming up to its renewal date. I always try to remember to cancel subscriptions so I’m not charged again, but missed this one. It was a few days after and I saw the $120 deducted from my account. I emailed the company to ask if I could possibly get a refund, but they never responded. I would have understood if they couldn’t since it was my fault, but to not even receive a response left a bad feeling. Needless to say, I cancelled it for next year’s billing but I wish they would have at least replied to me.

fantastic classes. What I love: they have everything from yoga to barre to HIIT to flexibility to meditation and everything in between. Every level from beginner to advanced. I know when I log on I will find a great workout video with a top notch instructor that makes it easy to follow along. Worth the money IMO Why I’m taking away 1 star: I don’t like how the app also functions as a shop to buy their expensive workout clothes. I’m here to be more mindful, not to be advertised to. Especially for what I’m paying.

Awesome!. After the start of the pandemic, the yoga studio I went to had to suspend classes. About a month or two after they announced that they had to officially close their doors which was super sad because they were a really great studio! I found this app on an ad on Instagram and decided to try it out and I love it so far! I’m still new to yoga but find the classes very informative and relaxing. It almost does feel like i am in a real class.

Freezing. I like the idea of this app, I have had it for a year and a half at this point. I am frustrated because I'm unable to use it due to the fact that videos tend to freeze multiple times throughout the majority of classes I try to take. I have lived in three different locations, none of which have any issue streaming movies or music, which leads me to believe it is an issue with the app. It's incredibly frustrating and I don't think I'll be purchasing it again. It's ending up to be a waste of time and money.

Less and less functional app. This app is getting worse. Recently riddled with crashes, now they have changed how the classes and series are displayed and sorted. Not functional at all. Should give more sorting options (eg recently used) and either have a list or show a meaningful thumbnail like they used to (a picture of the teacher smiling does little to distinguish one series or class from another). I love Alo moves, use it very regularly. Content is awesome. The app is bad.

Please fix your Apple TV app. I can sort anything from newest, most popular, A-Z etc, it just stays on newest no matter what setting it is on. I can’t press “see all” on series, it just opens up a blank screen. When I scroll down it will keep bumping me up twice, essentially fighting me wanting to scroll down. I can’t change the difficulty, I’ll chose one but it will stay on all difficulties. I’m left casting to my screen. The yoga sessions are amazing, I just wish I could use it on the Apple TV app.

Great workouts, but crashing videos. Fantastic and inspirational workouts that get me on the mat. Unfortunately, the website is glitchy and stops almost all workouts at some point and forces me to restart. It is hard to focus on exercise when you are preemptively tracking when the video may crash, so you can restart it from the same point. For the money, Alo should resolve this one last glitch that keeps it from getting 5 stars.

I love this app!. I absolutely love this app! I can feel my body opening up and getting stronger simultaneously! It’s amazing. I move better. I just feel better in space. However, lately I’ve been having problems with the app. It’s been lagging and closing out on me. Now it won’t let me open the app at all. If you guys could fix this, it would be great so I can continue my practice.

The best work out app!. I’ve been using Alo Moves for 5 years now. I absolutely love that there are so many class and teacher options to choose from depending on my mood. When I started, I was in it for the yoga, but since then I have completed so of the meditation classes, and now the strengthening classes after having a baby. There is a class for every mood and I love that the classes vary from 10 mins to 90 mins. It really is my favorite work out app!

Wish there was music. I absolutely love this app! Lots of options and every workout is amazing. However, I wish there was music! I love working out to music, so I wish there was either music in the background of each class or there was a possibility to play music from your phone while the class is playing.

Great classes - app functionality could be better. Classes are amazing but the app needs work. 1. Auto scroll back to the top randomly while searching is annoying, also it doesn’t hold your place in a search when you click on a class. 2. Filter by class / body part focus, particularly for fitness would be nice . 3. The option to choose your own music or at least a playlist would be nice. Sometimes the yoga music is very random.

Love it!. Honestly, I was hesitant at first but I had a free trail so tried it out. Once it was up I was going to cancel it, but then they gave me an extension and I’m so happy they did! I have been an on and off yogi but I‘ve finally found my groove with this app. It pushes me every single time and there are so many classes to try! My strength and flexibility have improved and I’m finally on my journey to a handstand!

Sounds dramatic, but it has changed my life.. I’ve been using this app for a few years now, and I could not be more thankful for it. There are THOUSANDS of classes to choose from. I am constantly finding new courses to move along to, so it never grows stale. Not only has this app helped me to drastically change my body, but my mind as well. I’m so grateful for Alo Moves and the teachers!

Solid work!!!. Love this app! I’m currently working series from Dylan Werner, Emily Sferra, Josh Kramer, and Roxie Jones. I can’t pick a favorite!!! This app has been a solid training guide for me since 2018. Thank you for the quality, diversity, and challenge you all provide every day! I also love the mobility of having the app so I never miss a work out—even in the office or traveling. Sometimes, I’m using the phone in an outside space. Looking forward to new challenges in 2021!

App glitches and is limited. I have loved this app going on 2 years but in the recent casting has proven to be way to glitchy! I cannot go more than 60 seconds without it stopping and restarting or having to stop all together. Customers service is nonexistent and the only streaming option is Apple TV or iOS. Way, way disappointed and it has taken a toll on a practice I have come to rely on because of the clarity in instruction from the Alo moves instructors. Please fix this and find a way to be a tad less elitist in your streaming availability. Thanks.

Great but does not work well with Airplay. The classes are great but I don’t want to watch them on my phone. I want to cast them to my tv. When I do it constantly shuts off after 5 seconds and when it finally does play it never has the attached music. I won’t be paying for these reasons because it wastes my time and just makes me generally aggravated. Bummer because I love the different class options. If there’s an update with the app that fixes these issues I’d definitely consider subscribing again.

Great instructors. As a long time fitness instructor and exercise physiology major, its been hard enjoy online classes. So many people teaching without well rounded knowledge. Having classes without this can be very disappointing. I am finding the instructors on Alo moves to be where Im finally getting knowledgeable and motivating instructors without being annoying or just “pumping you up” and talking. Im finally learning again! Thank u

Choose this yoga app!. I have downloaded SO MANY yoga apps and never stuck to my practice. I didn’t like the fluff and music choice in a ton of others let alone the styles. Alo is freakin amazing, y’all. Teachers are so professional, walk you through the movement and I legitimately love putting my mat down and practicing. Thanks to Ashley Galvin popping up on my feed for years I finally took the plunge!

Love app - Needs additional filters. Classes and instructors are great. Some some classes are more fast paced, some have upbeat music and some have more traditional music. Music makes such an impact on your workout and I wish there was some identifier in the description and filter. Additionally, a “view more classes like” option would be great. There are a lot of series working toward specific skills, but often times I personally just want a standard flow with some fun variations and it’s not the easiest to sift through 2k+ classes.

Great Classes, Limited Functionality. Been using the app for three years and find it an indispensable part of my practice and being a healthy human. I wish I would create my own folders and playlists to find the classes I like faster. Currently I hav e a note where I write down the names of the classes that fall under each proverbial bucket I have. Would be an awesome addition. Would love more primal movement and calisthenics strength classes too.

Classes are just amazing!. I am coming from a professional sport background and it is not so easy to satisfy me due to high quality standards I have regarding training. Guys, your app is great! The only improvement I would like to propose is to have possibility to select not only series of the same class types but to have an option to set up a real personalised training plan which combines different classes. If one day you could introduce this option that would be beyond of great.

Great content. Need better search.. Alo Moves for sure will have the class you are looking for. Great instructors and awesome variety. I have been a member for many many years and have never stopped using it. Use filters to search what you are looking for. Searching by class name does not work well so do not trust this method to find what you are looking for.

Love Alo Moves...best Yoga App!. I searched online for the top yoga apps but Alo Moves was not list. Not sure why but of all the yoga classes I researched, this one offers the most diverse set of yoga styles, with skill builders, various series, levels and so on. The yoga environments and sound quality is excellent unlike other online classes offered. There are instructors that fit each yoga style and are very professional. I haven’t experienced any glitches with the app as I use my phone and sometimes my laptop. I absolutely recommend Alo Moves above all else.

App gets worse every redesign. The classes are great but the app functionality is not. Especially trying to see the history of classes you’ve taken without going into each series there’s no easy way to search your class logs. And now they got rid of the check mark after you finished a class so you have to click into each class to see if you completed it. Need an easier way to see what classes you did or the last class done in a series.

Hands down, the best.. I’ve been a practitioner for nearly 20 years and am a 500 hr RYT. I had given up on streaming services, after trying several over the years, due to things like shotty instruction, lack of (truly)advanced programming, and variety of class lengths. I LOVE ALOMOVES. All of the above are now a thing of the past and I so appreciate being able to take a class that challenges me and is properly sequenced. So glad I decided to give this one a shot.

Pilates with Kristen McGhee. I had started Pilates before the quarantine. My studio closed; this website was amongst the resources to use. I decided to continue with my mat work after the initial mat work from my instructor became easy. I started using this series of mat workouts. They are awesome; it is challenging and also informative. Kristen gives step by step guidance. I will continue to use this even after I go back to my studio.

Love ALO, latest update buggy. Love the content. Love the instructors. App could use some serious updates. I’d love to schedule my classes for the next morning. Now, I either have to create a new playlist For each day or go into separate ones every time I want to move on to a new class. I’d also like to better track progress, classes taken and milestones. Since the app’s ability to do that is essentially nil, I had my own system synced with apple health app. But Alo hasn’t been sending data to the Health app since Sept 30 - PLEASE FIX!!!

Almost Too Much Content. Honestly there is so much content that it’s almost a bit overwhelming. Testing trainers or instructors was the ticket for me; I don’t care what workout I’m doing as long as I can connect with the instructor. The quality of trainers is pretty excellent, though out of every 5 I try, I only “super” click with one. It’s really worth the money to have the app and get to experience so many different movements and personalities.
