    I signed up for the 3 months for 99 cents and made sure to cancel my account (with the instructions they provide) before my next charge was due. Of course I was still charged $20. I wrote to customer service and never received a response. Terrible experience in whole I also notice almost all the reviews on here are positive. Strange. When I signed up and for several months they were predominately one or two star reviews

    This app is great. I love that it shows you what to do step by step and there's a timer as well. Before this app I would go into the gym completely lost not knowing what to do and feel so defeated and frustrated but this program has a plan for every work out. I love that every workout is a tad bit different to mix it up. I'm never bored or feel like I'm just going through the motions. I really hope to see results soon but I know it takes time and is a slow process. Cons: I don't like how you can't put in your own ounce count for water and you can't put in your own food. The food included in the app doesn't work well with my busy schedule. The app has crashed on me a couple times which is annoying. I can't get the app to connect to my Apple Watch (maybe because it's the first Apple watch so it's not compatible??? But it would make my workouts so much easier !!) The last con, the weather is never correct

    It's easy to follow and you'll get great results. 4 stars bc it does keep crashing occasionally other than that the app is great. Love the program and how detailed it is. Highly recommend.

    Very user friendly. Tracks your progress in work out completion each week. Shows you a break down of circuit exercises plus expands to explain form of each exercise if you click on it. Provides great meal options to choose from and help you understand what your portions and variety should be like. Water tracker too. LOVE this app!!

  • Should you drink this cool aid?

    A common saying in the fitness world is "I drank the cool aid of...." and fill in the blank with whatever fitness fad happens to be the thing on a given day. I can say that I drank the BBG cool aid for a while. At first, I loved it. It was the best thing that's ever happened to me... or so I thought at the time. Really, it's not a terrible program. Kayla definitely knows what it takes and has the body to show it. However, I don't feel like women love the app itself so much, but rather they love the community created around this app. The community aspect is nice, but the app itself was lacking in some areas for me. I loved the workouts at first, but after a while I grew quite bored with the resistance workouts. I completed 12 weeks of the workouts and diet plan and actually felt as if I gained fat rather than muscle. Also, the diet plan is quite bizarre in my opinion and a lot of the food leaves something to be desired. In terms of the workouts, and I have read this on multiple sources, they aren't anything new and exciting. We have the typical exercises such as squats, tricep dips, leg raises, etc. I just couldn't justify spending $20 a month on this. What I will say is Kayla and the instagram community surrounding BBG helped me find new ways to incorporate fitness into my life instead of the pure cardio I was doing prior. In the end, Kayla's program didn't work for me. However, there are millions of women who love BBG. Try it for yourself and see if it's a fit. But if you were to ask me, join a gym, take their classes, and have a real community rather than an instagram community of women who tend to post photos of themselves at the best time of day highlighting their "morning abs."

    Lost 40 dollars for nothing. I deleted the app after two days of downloading it cause it didn't seem my type, two months later I look at my bank account and they charged me 40. I lost money for no good.
