Very much an outdated app. After using my free 10 uses i was surprised that it showed very amateur ai photos. It seems like it just generates the closest stock image to you search and mashes in something random in there.

Very impressed But a GREAT GREAT FLAW. Overall I’m pleased with this app and features. ¡HOWEVER! I feel I Might address the issue more like problem of when unsatisfied with results. Instead of having the option to refine or redo in order to reclaim [credits]. (Which are limited based on subscription plan and set monthly amount. necessary to be able to perform any of provided services ). The MAIN ISSUE is that once out of [credits] despite being subscribed to the best and most EXPENSIVE subscription there is no option or form (even by SPENDING MORE) to allocate or get more! Therefore your ONLY Option is to Wait for your next MONTHLY renew to be able to continue your project!!! Thanks for reading my concern.

Terrible. Can’t even generate a realistic video of Jesus and His sacrifice. It said it can’t load that video and to change prompt. Awful

Useless Garbage. I tried to make a video for my wife of 2 LEGO people coming together to kiss and this app said it violated their guidelines. I tried 10 different ways to write it, replaced kiss with hug, still nothing. Completely useless due to their ridiculous guidelines

Complete Fraud. This is nothing. 100% of all attempts say “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” It’s a scam.

I’d give this 6 stars if I could. Been using Firefly for a few months now and very impressed so far! Mobile app is incredibly easy to use for on-the-go inspiration!

Very nice app. I like this app a lot it’s not complicated like the other apps and it creates really like videos

Turns out nothing is free. Not even samples.. I asked it to generate a portrait of me wearing a tux playing guitar at a classical concert…. Too hard. Too costly. But pretty good at showing strangers, just not me up there. My third free ai disappointment. Ai is not there yet folks.

Error. First image tried and got twice error message that it couldn’t create request Never had an issue on my computer

Basic. This is pretty basic for the price that I’m paying. Not exactly what I was looking for.

Fast but Phoney. This generates images very quickly but they all look like stock photography. This makes it impossible to get a candid looking photo.

A Creative Tool With Frustrating Limits. Firefly promises to be a cutting-edge AI tool for creators, but after making just one video after subscribing, I ran out of credits. That’s right. One video, and I was done. Even more frustrating, there is no clear way to buy more credits. No upgrade button. No pricing options. Nothing. For a company like Adobe, which has built its reputation on professional-grade tools and a subscription model, this feels incomplete and poorly thought out. To be fair, Firefly shows real promise. The interface is smooth, the output looks good, and the AI tools are impressive. But when you can’t actually use the product beyond a single try, it becomes more of a teaser than a useful tool. If Adobe wants Firefly to be taken seriously, they need to do the following: • Make credit limits clear from the start • Allow users to purchase more credits easily • Avoid locking people out after one use Right now, Firefly feels more like a restricted demo than a reliable solution for creative work.

All I wanna do is. I wanna upload a photograph I want you to follow my directions on making edits. Unfortunately, I have to Fish through your website to figure out how to do that. You are you are not user-friendly.

Adobe Firefly. Amazing does not begin to describe it. You’ll have to try it for yourself. There is almost nothing it can’t do. Check it out…

Love this app. I did two photos fill and it went above and beyond my expectations almost perfectly I am so amazed and so happy it’s so easy and looks very very good!

Lack of options. The app offers only one plan. Instead of providing 3 different plans that offers more credit, also have the options for monthly and annual subscription.

Poor results. I plugged in a very specific detailed prompt for a video and got the worst results. 4 times was all I was given for $5 for the month. What a rip off!

Unintuitive. This is perhaps Adobe’s most unintuitive app to date. But once you manage to navigate its quirkiness, the image or video you’re trying to upload, doesn’t take hold. It works beautifully when using its already AI-generated images, but not if you’re trying to use one of your own. I’m glad I don’t have to pay extra for it.

Come on!. I used up all my credits right away because I tried to get it to spell Good Morning correctly on a video. It never could. Lame

What am I paying for again?. Oh Adobe, we knew you were a money grubbing organization but please explain to me why I pay for PS and LR and can’t even get this mediocre app for free? And then when I do pay for it I get only enough credits to make a few videos that, honestly, dozens of others apps can do just as well or better? I didn’t see one feature in this app that sets it apart.

Absolutely terrible- junk.. It can’t do anything. It’s not capable of anything. Just don’t throw away your money, this is less than beta quality. It can’t generate one basic good thing. It’s not possible. Their ad is deceiving. I doubt they used their own app to make it. Dare you to try. See if it can get something a quarter as good. This isn’t intelligent tech. Just toss in the garbage. Useless waste of money. These reviews are more lies. It doesn’t work at all.

Make it free.. I generated an image but it turned out bad, then I generated a cute one, but then it said I needed to subscribe. why do you have to limit the amount of free videos to 2, just why?? I barely got to make anything. Please add some more free videos. Make it either completely free or add a daily reward where you get free videos each time you join. I am very upset about the limits. Make it free!

Disappointing. Some mentioned a free trial; what free trial? If I had had one I would for sure not have bought a subscription. No matter how detailed your instructions are the image you get back isn’t even close. (Abbreviated examples). I asked for a Shih Tzu dressed as a Mermaid and got a beagle with a hand offering a fish???! Asked for a bedroom in a mountain location at night; snowing. The outside location looked very simplistic like a drawing. And it was snowing but also in the bedroom. Someone else mentioned this too; it’s expensive. You can make one possible two very short videos per month. Am talking seconds. Won’t be renewing. This app needs some refinement. Got a response back talking about free trial, there was no free trial. If there were a free trial I would’ve known this wouldn’t work. So nice response, looks good but there is no free trial for this app.

Bad. This app only lets you use it a few times then you have to buy this thing it says something per month it’s so annoying don’t get this game

Poor Quality Image and Video generation. The quality of image and video generation is bad compared to other tools out there.

Too Soon to enjoy. This app's image-to-video feature is a great idea, but it barely works. I spent a whole day getting error messages and "server busy" notifications, making it almost impossible to use. The app also freezes constantly, forcing me to restart it at least six times and lose all the descriptions I'd just written. I was really looking forward to the video feature after using Firefly's website for images, but I only managed to generate one clip. Until they fix these bugs, I'd say don't waste your time. It'll likely be months before it's truly usable.

My two cents. Truly amazing, I’m very impressed

Disappointing. First, doesn’t support iPad. You get a tiny window and portrait-only layout. Second, there’s no upscale option. Third, if you google “firefly upscale” you get taken to a page touting the feature is available in Photoshop, and to try it out by uploading an image. But when you do, there is no option to upscale. No idea if Ps actually supports this…or if it does, it’s only with a paid subscription…or only on desktop. Or is Adobe just lying about its features to trick people into starting a trial. Not a great way to start a relationship with your customers.

EXPENSIVE!. Decent app and fairly easy. But when describing what you are trying to compose, you better get it right on the first go with a crystal clear description, because each edit or modification on the same composition costs credits. It also isn’t the most accurate depiction of what you were trying to create even with a clear description. It often times takes multiple edits to get what you want. It seems like it’s done on purpose so that you spend the credits. So after the AI generated response to my review, I am even more offended that they basically saying they’re not up to par, but getting better. It’s all at the cost of the subscriber. I wouldn’t but this at all you will find it costly and frustrating!

Needs some work. As far as generating images goes I guess it’s okay for someone just needing random images, but when wanting to focus in on a particular style and creation, it does not have enough prompt availability to do so.

What’s wrong!!. It won’t load no matter how long I wait. I haven’t even been able to do anything. I’ve tried EVERYTHING.

1- 5 second high res video a month for your monthly subscription.. One five second video a month, thats all you get for your monthly fee. Not impressed.

Disappointing User Experience. Be aware that even with a paid subscription, you can only create a handful of animated videos. That’s a poor user experience for introducing this app. 👎

Why lower quality?. I like the idea but don't understand why the generative fill has lower quality than those inside the Photoshop or Lightroom apps? Is not supposed to have the same level of quality of AI? I'm confused about this because I like the idea of making pictures bigger, removing unwanted areas or adding new elements but why is the quality lower than the same feature inside other Adobe apps? doesn't make sense to me since is the same company and the same subscription, even the same account, I hope they improve that.

Easy to use but restricted. The content guidelines are a bit too restrictive when it comes to natural skin visibility. It’s frustrating because this limitation makes it challenging to create effective ads for skin care, summer campaigns, fitness, and other projects where showing realistic skin is important.

Subpar. I purchased premium and it doesn’t last long . I cross platforms between adobe express. So whenever I use express it uses my credit in firefly. That’s trash

Super easy and intuitive experience. I installed the app yesterday and just loved the simplicity with which I was able to generate and edit photos and videos. I will keep playing with and see what I can create.

Own art. No option to upload any images to “image to video” category. What?

It gets better and better!. Best image generation app on the market! Doesn’t hurt that it’s from the leading creative company, Firefly continues to impress!

This app is annoying asl. Ai used my turns in the free trial to make me videos and pictures I do not want. I don’t want to have to buy my videos so adobe firefly can feel better about themselves. I am very annoyed and angry. I don’t want to pay 50 dollars a year for a video. This app is annoying and a junkyard of ai.

Wrong behavior. I'm a model with photos in bikinis and summer clothes, I ask you to add a sun and it's not possible, it's like this app only sees a woman's body and restricts everything, what's happening here?

Weak AI. I asked for two picture ideas and it could generate either. The free ChatGPT had not problem with the same ideas

Credits model is lousy. This is, on the surface, a very impressive app from adobe that makes it easy to generate mid journey like images with a few simple prompts. Even more impressive is the video capability - 5-10 seconds of animation has quite awe inspiring results. But having paid $7.99 one month subscription ALL my credits were used up in 30minutes with NO option to buy more. So I paid a subscription for 30 mins use max and now have to wait another month to use it again. That is very poorly thought out.

The future is now.. I use this app on my computer as part of my creative cloud. I prefer it on my phone.

Subscription. I bought the subscription that was 7.99 and I had been on the app for about half an hour and somehow I used up all my credit, felt as if I was using the free credit but only two times longer, it felt like a waste of money because I couldn’t buy more credit and forced to wait until the next month.

No good. Not good for generate video

Inaccurately interpreted prompts. Hello! I was using the free try out for this app, (not the free trial) and was disappointed when the very specific prompts were not accurately interpreted. I changed the prompt several times in an attempt to improve the image. I lost the free credits trying to get what I sought. Same with the videos. I asked for the video to have pieces show up at later times in the video, and even gave it a specific prompt 'three quarters of the way fire appears' but instead, the ai generated fire to appear at the start of the video. I'm sorry, but this is very disappointing. A suggestion for improvement (which doesn't have to be followed) would be if the ai generated two videos, instead of one, and asked which one is more accurate? This could also go for images, the part about which one is most accurate. I also rated each image, and video I received, and when I click thumbs up creates similar images (appreciated) but if I put thumbs down, it won't change anything the next time I ask for it to generate. I've actually had the exact same images show up in the generated pictures three times in a row, despite changing the prompt each time, and rating with a thumbs down. Please fix this. I'd love to see, and try out any updates, and fixes to these issues. Thanks!

Servers too busy. Paid for a subscription but keeps telling me the servers are too busy and to retry. What is the point of paying for this service if you can’t use it when you need it ?

Don’t subscribe. I subscribed and it wouldn’t accept any prompt I gave it and took all my credits for the times it didn’t accept my prompts. It then told me to buy more credits. Not any picture nor video nor prompt was accepted. Waste of time and money !!!!!!!!

Could be great. This could be great - I uploaded an image to turn into video but it kept generating random imagery that didn't match at all. I used up all my credits in a few minutes and can't use most of the videos.

New Update March 2026. The new user interface isn’t as smooth and the generation results are very odd. Also cannot delete old generations on mobile version.

Doesn’t follow what you ask. Really disappointed in the app. End up using credits to try to correct what it gets wrong, and time after time it almost always gets it wrong again. And takes credits. Will cancel before next payment.

The best. I love I can do professional grade work with a few sentences

Guidelines are trash. I’m giving this one star because I can’t give it less. The user guidelines are so easily violated that it becomes almost worthless. I can even make a cool animation of myself as a kid because the creepers at Adobe think bad thoughts. So annoying. Spend your money elsewhere.

Really buggy.. Previous version was much better. No full history or favorites. Difficult to add reference images. Difficult to even find simple settings like aspect ratio.

Don’t buy…$$ for nothing. It takes a lot of credits to make a 8 second video, and you are handed enough credits each month to create basically one 1080p eight second video. $$ for nothing

Not worth $50 monthly. Create 2 eight second videos and credit will be down to only 10! Meaning you cannot generate more than that until the next month. I’m cancelling because it’s a rip off to me. $50 a month to generate only two extremely short clips.

Going downhill. Adobe's overpriced. Their products aren't really that good. Alternatives are better, and overall they just can't seem to get anything right anymore. Really regret even signing up for the subscription.

FREE GPT works better. FREE GPT works better. I think Firefly is using GPT, as a matter of fact. Cannot use your own photo as reference, nor edit your own images in any meaningful way. Total absolute waste of $$. I would like a refund, I paid for a full year & it’s useless.

Limited. It’s very frustrating that you can only upload one photo, and the AI cannot be corrected. You can’t update inaccuracies in the photo’s description, and there’s no way to give the AI adjustments to fix the image. The same description is used every time, leaving no room for refinement or correction.

One star. Absolute ONE STAR.. i did use tickets yesterday and they reset, it says i have 10/10 tickets left (free plan) and i didn’t use them at all, but guess what? I got an error saying “CoMpLiMeNtArY gEnErAtIoNs UsEd” please fix this.

4.99 per Month for Two Videos. 5 dollars for two videos? It should be 4.99 for at least 100 videos. Even 50 would be better. Feels expensive for just two videos.

Firefly App. 2 short videos and points gone for a month. Your Firefly is dying soon. Ridiculous limitations. And ads say unlimited until March 15. What a sour note to read when cut off so quickly. $15 a month for this rip off on limits. Has someone hacked your system and using up members time?

Overpriced. All my coins were gone when I tried to turn my own image into a speaking moving character. My card was charged extremely fast with no finishing result. Don’t waste your money

Great for image textures. Great for image textures for game assets and other image generation etc. Must know foundational graphic design skills and AI’s current limits for best practices

Cool but ultimately disappointing. I wouldn’t have paid for a membership if I knew I’d only be able to do two text-video projects per month. I get to use the app for 5 minutes and then wait a month to use it again? Not worth it.

Not worth it -Unusable for real work. Misleading pricing. The $4.99 monthly plan gives you enough credits for approximately one 5-second video. After that, you’re locked out for the rest of the month. This is not disclosed before purchase. Not a usable product at this price.

AMAZING. I like it because it allows my kid to make pics and vid’s and it’s not like Sora Ai where it’s basically TikTok

Doesn’t work at all. Requested the app to convert a picture of me as a kid into a video to waive but that violated their policies??? Then I took a wedding photo and wanted the picture to show me and my wife kissing wouldn’t do that either. Simple requests can’t be completed this app is garbage.
