Blah. I don't like the new update. Idk why they changed it from the colorful display to this bland-confusing look. Everything is bundled together instead of the days of the week being clearly separated. Please bring back your other version.

No More Updates Please. Worked much better until latest update and redesign. . It wasn’t broken. Unreliable now.

What happened?. This app was recently updated and it stinks. It freezes, kicks you out, and scrolls and scrolls forever looking for information to load on the screen. You have to click on multiple buttons to find what you are looking for. I will be changing Weather apps ASAP.

Problems since update.. Not sure what happened but since the last update it has locked up and when widening the view, will automatically return to the default screen. I used to love this app. Not so much now.

This is the best weather application. ☔☁☀⚡. The graphics are beautiful and the fact that I can customize the map to my current location really helps as well as having the overlay. With the storm track option, I can tell exactly where a storm is going which is great for me since I hardly watch television or use my computer or landline telephone. I use my iPhone for everything and love meteorology, but I'm afraid of severe weather so this application works perfect for me. It never freezes and gives me accurate information along with excellent maps and things like the blog and video to keep updated on weather conditions. Thank you to the developer and please keep this in the App Store forever. Please also keep every section that's in the application as well and please don't take any of it away🌸.

Could be the best. This could be the best weather app ... if it worked. The information is arranged to quickly and easily see temperatures hourly and daily without a lot of swiping as other apps require. HOWEVER, it is o longer reliable. Most of the time when I try to use it, the app is frozen. Would not recommend until the bugs are fixed.

Futurecast. This app is great, however futurecast isn't working, it crashes my device. Device: iPhone 4S

Great App. Loved this new app for my fav news station. Was great idea wont even need my iPhone weather icon nomore ^_^

Most accurate weather!. Love this app! Always gives me what I need to know when preparing for the day! Better than the rest!

Not good anymore. I’ve use this app for years and just recently it has changed and is very difficult to use. As of today it won’t even open at all! Tired of this app!

Update is Horrible!. I used to rely heavily on the Fox 5 Weather app for tracking weather and reliable reporting. Since the update to this new format both have suffered. On occasion you can reopen it when its running in the background and it doesnt update. I then have to shut it down (swipe it up) completely and restart it to get it to update. I can open the app on both my iPhone and iPad and have two different forecasts. How is this even possible? Ads are totally annoying, especially on an iPad. I know they were there before but they stand out more now or are bigger.( I've heard the channel 4 app does not have ads) Finally, I know this is not a fault of the app, but the weather forecasts are way off. Everyone else is saying 5-8 inches of snow and the app says "some snow likely". Really!!

Uninstalled. Hate having to dig for info that used to be available the second the app is opened. Not sure what the reasoning behind adding all the swiping to find the info I need was. Extremely disappointed after several years of usage.

Another app ruined by developers that "know" what I want. I've been using this as my weather app for quite some time, but the latest "update/upgrade" made this app worthless. I can no longer get to the display I want and the presentation the developer chose for me stinks. Sorry Fox 5, but I'm done!

Comments were deleted by ???. If you don’t like the reviews, leave the comments in place, and correct the issued. When you developers screw up the app, man-up, correct the issues. Don’t just delete the comments.

Bad update. Loved it before the latest update. The radar map is awful.

Outstanding!. I've tried a number of weather apps and they were okay. I love this app! Accurate, user friendly and the display so much easier to view.

Not Buggy Dont Update. This App ran great until I did the update with ‘bug fixes’ for crashes and load issues. What I didnt have before is now a problem. Crash after crash, Load issues, gps location are all problematic now. Lightning data works very rarely. Its really to bad there is not an ‘Undo Update’ option for All Apps. Ban the term ‘bug fixes’.

Like it. I like the alerts and especially like the radar because you can zoom in or zoom out and see what’s coming. I appreciate being able to go to the most recent weather broadcast from the channel as well as being able to go anywhere in the world on the radar. I’ve loved it but occasionally the radar blanks out but that was only recently perhaps the latest update will adjust that

Terrible. I hate this new update. It’s very inconvenient.

Useless. I work outside a good weather app is important and this one stinks! Today alone was suppose to be cloudy all day yet here I am baking in the sun! Inaccurate and unreliable forecasting at its best!

Weather Alerts. I don’t like at all the new home page after I did the update. And on top of that I keep getting alerts for DC and Virginia. I took DC off my cities but still get them. It is very annoying.

Half there. Went it works it is a great app, but tends to shut off as soon as you open it, works first time half time. Still worth the download till they fix it!

Doesn’t work most of the time. Even after restarting my phone, this app just freezes up most of the time.

Why do you need to access my location all the time?. I have relied on this app for a while, but now you require location service all the time in order to use current location settings. WHY? This is a drain on battery, slows devices down and uses data. Looking to find something else now. Thanks a lot.

The new update took a week to get used to. The new update makes everything much more convenient & easy to use

Fox weather. I love it but in the past few months it freezes many time. I hope an update can resolve this issue. But still a great app

The ads. I have used this app for years. This latest app update has a few good changes such as better graphics for current conditions. Unfortunately the hourly forecast has ads in the middle of the hour temps - so distracting and annoying. I would pay to get rid of the ads but there is no option.

BEST WEATHER APP OUT THERE!. This is BY FAR the best weather app on the market for the DMV area. I got really angry with my last weather app, and this app does it all as my replacement! I can look at my whole day’s outlook within seconds! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Please DON’T change your app’s look and feel!

Another case of “fixes” made worse. It’s now annoyingly slow then requires swiping through windows to find what you want. I’ll be looking for a more convenient app after 5 years of satisfaction.

Love the updates!. The updated app is now my go to weather app! Really like the upgrades in radar. My other radar app was ruined in updates, this is the closest thing to what I like now. I don’t like being forced into watching loops at speed. I need to be able to move the sliders at my own pace! Thank you Fox 5 for the improvements on a what already a good weather app!

Stop Messing With It. I don’t want sleek or cool, just weather! Each time the app seems fine here comes another update with a wacky interface full of bugs. Just make the app simple. No need to watch clips, live weather, or what have you. Just let me see the week outlook, weather for the day, and approaching storms. That would be awesome. The last update is a failure, fix it to make the font a normal not squished size, then leave the app be.

Radar is hallucinating to the point of being dangerous. The radar view use to be decent but has declined to the point of pure fantasy. It has no grounding in reality.

Won’t open. This app was great for a lot of reasons for me personally! Lately I haven’t been able to open it and when it does it’s in the afternoon. Please fix this. I use to love this app, lately I haven’t!!!

Garbage. Worked flawlessly until they put out an update. Radar is completely inaccurate. Shows area is experiencing rain and there is no rain. App notifications woke me with a jarring alert at 3 am for flash flood warning and minimal rain came. Flash flood alerts came every hour another time and there was zero rain that day. Forecasts are inaccurate. This app is now more of an annoyance than a help.

Finally a great weather app. This app is fantastic!! Graphics are well placed, used available screen for key information. Reading is clear and understandable. App shows that real weather personnel talked to the app developers and they listened.

Bugs. I would really like to see all 10 days of the 10 day forecast. It covers up the current week. Please fix.

App constantly freezes at home screen. The app is great when it works constantly freezes on home screen and won’t load very unfortunate as this this best layout for local weather app without a bunch of distracting ads. Deleting and reinstalled three times with no fixing

Used to be good new update and the homepage is worthless. I have used this app daily for years, new update and the homepage no longer shows what you want to see. You have to drill into various sections, swipe all over the place, just to try to find the simple information that used to be on the home screen. I am going back to some other apps and another news outlet to get what I was used to getting quickly from Fox 5, so disappointed.

Needs More Weather Maps. The app is great so far but it needs more weather maps. I would like to see the dew points and the water temperatures. I also would like to see Wind Gusts on the map.

Why mess with something that worked?. I don’t know who thought I needed to now flip or search for my weather info, but this “new look” is not useful. I have used this app for years, because it was simple to use and get what I need ... now I need a new weather app.

Don't like the new update. I enjoy the map function in this app, the main reason I use it. However, the new update is confusing and very poor aesthetically. I give 5 stars for the old version but 2 after the update.

Always goes to commercial. Randomly goes on commercial while in the middle of feeling the weather /story. Then sometimes will freeze even tho it’s up to date

I used to love this app. A Tornado was coming through my area and this app never alerted me, not even after the fact. Very disappointing. I thought I could rely on it. All alerts for every weather event has always been set to on.

Not playing videos. The current version of the app is only playing the paid advertisement and then sits on a blank black screen with no weather report playing. This is while my device is connected to a reliable high speed wifi connection, via Comcast cable.

Can’t find anything you’re looking for in new version. This newest version is the worst. The interface is horrible and you can not find what you want to see. I want to see the live radar when I open the app. It’s so cumbersome to find what you’re looking for. Thankfully there are other weather apps that are easier to use. I’ve been using this as my primary weather app for years. Will no longer be using.

WHAT HAPPENED?!?👎. Your latest update has a major error... The arrows beside the city name on top are now completely missing. I can only see my home city. I can't access any of my other cities at all!! I travel and must immediately stop using your app until it is fixed. I've used this app for a long time and really enjoyed it so I'm very disappointed it's no longer of use to me 😪 PLEASE FIX ASAP❗ (Fyi I'm using an iPhone 4S.)

Boring. I don't like the update. There is no color to it and it all seems to run together. I liked it before better.

NOT an iPad app!. It's a very good iPhone app, but it doesn't resize for an iPad.

Hate the new version. Can't stand the blue on blue daily forecast. Old version much easier on the eyes. Switching to Channel 4 weather app.

Terrible. I like the old version much better. This is especially to hard to decipher on an iPhone. Go back to the old version!

Issues w/v 5.4.940 that need to be addressed. Don’t you hate when you update an app & the old version was MORE functional? Programmers need to take the watch/warning/advisory overlay OFF of the main map & go back to making that an OPTION you can add in the drop-down menu if you like. Why? Because the watch/warning-advisory overlays are COLOR CODED & interfere with other map functionalities like the 24hr snowfall overlay, which is ALSO color coded. Please fix this!

Crash. This app crashes every time I click the 'future' setting to see where the storm movements are heading.

Best weather app ever. I have gone through countless weather apps there are so many features with this weather app that are amazing. Being able to see the attributes of a storm is fantastic and potentially a lifesaver, not only does it and now it’s the severe weather via voice but it also shows above the screen fantastic weather app. The follow me feature is wonderful I never have to second-guess the weather ever again. We have some of the most amazing meteorologist in Washington DC in this app is a wonderful accoutrement to them.

Crashes. It crashes a lot for me and it's very irritating and frustrating.

Update. You're not recommending us to select "OK' button, you're demanding it or else! There's coercion and then there's force. If it still demands so by Jan 31, I delete this app - there's plenty others.
