I really like this app but. I like it it's very informational but I just wish there was a plant identifier walk through where I could pick the leaf shape like an elimination process and it would take me to the plant I'm looking at or anything to narrow it down also if I could search plants based on region that would be awesome. If you could make this happen I will definitely give it five stars. The pictures are very good and the amount of information is outstanding but I would like a way to sift through it to find what I'm looking for. Maybe you could use my gps for the app to tell me what plants are in like a so many mile radius of me or just let me search plants by region or preferably state. Thank you and I look forward to installing the update.

Review. Very informative

Great App. I have several apps for identifying plants but this one is the best. The pictures are wonderful on the iPad. The map shows where the plant grows exactly. Most of the plants are easily identifiable.

Real lifesaver. I’m over 70 & old vet - The Datas found in this application Can save you and your families butts!! In a emergency!! well done !! very well done !! I learned a lot!🤩🦖😎

Wild plant survival guide. Looks like a comprehensive book. Lots of good information.

Perfect. Great pictures, perfect information, works off line, easy read, very organized. One suggestion I would make is break up the edible plants into groups where they are located in the states. So all plants found in Florida in one tab. If plants are found in multiple states and it's the same multiple states they should in one tab.

Elementary. Not very impressed with the information. Very basic plant identification and regions are even more generally described. Still a good amount of information for $2.00, but your probably better using google search to look up and identify plants in your' specific region.

Great App! Good information!. I love this app, it's a great addition to my "survival" folder! If I ever need to know what to eat and what not to eat, or in the event of an apocalypse or becoming stranded... I'll have my solar charger and this awesome app!

Don't buy. get a free wilderness survival app or one for the same price, this has like forty plants and only basic information. The survival apps have the same and more for the same price or free. Also, the showing of the locations of the plants is basic and inaccurate, it should show it by actual locations with the states shown so people have a better idea of where they are, this shows it by state and in some cases the plant is found in some of one state and either not shown in that state at all or it highlights the whole state. Fix that and add a TON more plants.

Wild plant Survival Guide. This is a good guide but I would like to see more plants from all parts of the world. Also would like to see tubular, seeds and fruits.

Well Organized. This app is well thought out. It covers the shapes of leaf ID, Universal Edibility Test, which is ÜBER IMPORTANT, & has great photos for ID, along with tips on prepping the plant as well as parts to be used. I like it!

Limited info. I’m disappointed. There aren’t that many plants in their database and limited info on the plants listed. Also, the map feature has no purpose. I paid 1.99 and regret that.

Worth it.. Spectacular!

So far so good. I'm new to plant identification so any information is helpful. I like that I can zoom in close on the photos...wish it had a bigger selection of plants in the app, but a lot apply to my location. Next camping trip ill be using it while hiking. I'm probably not going to eat everything I find because I'm not in a survival situation, however it is a fun activity with the wife to walk around and enjoy looking for certain plants.

Doesn't show pictures. Doesn't show me the pictures... Has good information for the people who get stranded in the wilderness alot. Haha

Best app I've used. Good photo detail, provides information on identifying the plant, where it grows, how it should be prepared, and any other uses

Pete. Awesome app, with the way things are going it just might save your life!

What are u talking about!?!?. This app is awesome!!! Hasn't crashed on me once! VERY useful!!! I don't know about u guys, but I love this app

Very good app.. This would be better if you could search and see all edible and non edible plants in a given state or area. Also more photos of each plant in different seasons.

Weak. This app has a small amount of info. It misses a lot of plants regularly found throughout New England. Weak.

Basically an ebook. The information is good and the photos are useful. I'd like to see some expandaded features, like being able to focus on the plants of just one region (in New England, it doesn't help me to have to page through the tropical plants). It would also be nice to have a lookup feature so you don't have to flip through every page to check the information on one plant.

Cool app, however.... It would be outstanding if you could filter the list of plants by geographic location. Other than that it's very informative and extremely useful

Love it. It gives a lot of good info and it works off line this is a great app to start out with it tells you info on more that just the plants it was well worth it they did a great job and I can't wait to see what they do in the updates

Awesome. This app is a very helpful, I'm glad I bought it

amaranth. When reading the review of the amaranth plant I noticed that in the second paragraph, edibility, it suddenly is referred to as "alder"! Not very good proof reading. Brand-new app for me, I'm wondering if it's going to be trustworthy?

I love it. It's easy and very informative

Needs photo. If you see a plant you cannot identify you have to take a hour to go thru every line item to see if it’s a match. Just fix it so you can take a photo of unidentified plant and run they app. Does me no good

Great app. Lets you learn about what parts of the plant is edible where its located and how to indentify it

Great app. This is a great app if you want to live a little longer in the wilderness.

the app. Lots of great information. Wish it covered all the plants. Unfortunately they left out mushrooms, and the best way to purge a stomach from poisons is to drink powered charcoal ash if none is available make a fire and use the ash mixed wit water and you will almost immediately purge the stomach. Drinking salt water can be very dangerous.

Not very good. Unbelievably limited application. So few plants and so many ubiquitous edibles completely absent from this app. I will continue to carry a field guide instead of using an app I guess

Table or search. Seems like a really good app but it's annoying to have to go page by page by page. It takes a long time to find anything specific. Neeeeeds a search

Not enough. I also wish there was a plant identification feature. I’d like to snap a shot and know what I’m looking at

Very informative. I just got this app so I haven't learned everything about it. It seems very informative, and has a pretty big selection to learn about. The one problem I have is that it's not great to navigate. It would be nice to be able to sort by region, or things like that.

This app is awesome!!!!!. Must have for all who care to survive. Love the tap on pictures and tape for plants native to my area. Great to train kids with also.

Just getting started. So far I like it I have a Lotta information thank you

Tells about a few plants........ Really? Doesn't even cover something as basic and common as a fern? this was a total rip off!! Do not buy!!!!!

Very informative and clear app. Very clear and easy to use with excellent features. Nice work. I am a naturalist and it is great to have in the field.

Like it a lot... But. I REALLY like this app....but what would make it even better would be if you could search by location. Ie: New England etc.

If you can’t figure it out with this app stay home. I have a fair knowledge base for edibles but there are always new plants that deserve to be questioned. This app may not be 100% on every plant but it is as close as you will get. It could truly be a life saver.

Where is the back button?. This is a great app. Very helpful in helping identify various plants. The only problem that I have found is when searching through edible plants there isn't a back button to take me back to the previous menu or previous page that I was looking at. For example if I go into edible plants from the menu and then go into the temperate area plants and I click on a plant that I want to learn about there isn't a back button to take me right back to the temperate area plants instead I have to click the menu and go back to edible plants and then temperate area plants again. This would make the app a lot better.

Needs photo identification. I had assumed that with this app you could take a picture and have plant identified. This app seems only useful if you already know about the plant.

RN. This is excellent! Makes it so easy to learn.

Disappointing app. Maybe because I am already a serious forager I have discovered numerous fails in this app. First 2 wild edibles I look up, very common ones, not in there. Garlic mustard and wild spinach. Could not find them in there. Now if they are in there under some other names this too is a weakness in the app. Would have given it one star but it does have some useful info in there but not great by any means. Keep looking, spend a little more, get a better app

Had high hopes. Requesting refund. Horrible navigation, few pictures, useless.

Good Information. A preppers' dream. Even if some of the plants listed don't grow, or - most likely - would not be available in North America.

Not worth!. So many edible plants that are missing! Smilax, Biden’s Alba, Dollar Weed, to name just a few that are not on your list. This app needs a serious update!

If I am.... ...stuck in Florida (yuck), I am set since 90% of all edible plants in this app grow there. I gave it 4 stars because it's the only app with real photos, usually two per plant. I can utilize some of the information. It only goes over very basic plants, but it's the best app thus far. I will try the edible plants and if I make it back, I'll write a 5 star review. Overall for a quick pocket reference, it's perfect. Thanks.

Great app. This app is full of information however I strongly urge you to learn your plants before you go out alone and try to identify any wild plant

Very informative. This app covers a lot of plants that we should know about. Especially, ones that are bad to even touch. Thank you.

Not worth buying.. Too simple, lack of vital information.

Very very usefull. All I have to say is "wow" if you wanna learn your native plants this is the app set all your native plants as favorites and study them and look for them even teach your kids . It's great

Not nearly complete. Not enough plant varieties. With knowledge I already had I could name at least 30 more in my own area. Missing most berries, roots, and not nearly enough info on identification of the plants it does list....

Good starter app. Good information to use as a start for getting into identifying plants and the map feature is great as well

Disapointed. Difficult to find anything and does not help with identifying plants. Not what I was hoping for. This is a very basic app and not worth the cost.

Informative app.. This app is pretty good. It has a picture of the plants, well described on what's edible and not, where it's from, etc. The only thing I think this app needs is to have more pictures on each plant as what it's leaves (shape, orientation of each), flowers, roots, bark, etc look like so I can go out and determine what's what. The information in this app can be found on the web for free, but when in the wilderness it would be nice to reference since there is no internet in nature.

Informative, but worthless. Useless for IDing plants. Descriptions are long sentences, not organized by keys like leaf attachments. Pix are not close ups.

Survival. It's a helpful app

Just a small book digitized. The app fails to utilize the benefits of a iPhone, iPad. It's simply a digitized book. It lacks in multimedia, even it's photos are small and few. No real details on the plants. No real search engine based on region, season and geography. Little to no info on seasonal variation.

Not worth it. For a paid app it is poorly organized and and has minimal identification of plant info.

Ok. Average

Good app. Best app

Confirmed. Thought I was wasting two bucks and confirmed I wasted two bucks. Deleted

Sweet!!. Great app! Wish pics were a little larger...

Survivalist in training. Awesome! Great info to know!

Hiking PCT. I am hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and this app is useful for knowing what I can and can't snack on!
