I love it!
Venmo customer services and support not helpful at all don’t deserves not even a star
Venmo is seriously the worst, no matter how many times I use it there’s always a problem. I just recently made a new one because I got so tired of having it, and already after just making it 2 days ago my account is now “frozen” because I somehow “violated the user agreement”. I’ve literally sent money to 1 person and I violated the agreement. How?? Seriously makes no sense, and on top of that they DONT HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING, you can’t even call to talk to someone, you have to wait to be emailed, and they don’t even get back to you in time. Seriously, use cash app instead, I never have problems with it, never and it’s so much more simpler.
The Venmo “instant transfer” option that makes it so popular, is down most of the time. I’m a normal user of Venmo with everything linked correctly and about 75% of my instant transfers fail and i have to do it the old fashion way anyhow.
I got Venmo when Paypal increased their fees. It’s fast, easy and free. What else do you need in a money-sending app?
Makes my life so much easier
Super user friendly! Fastest way I know to send money.
Aside from what most of my friends use it for witch is, paying one another back for Dinner or drinks or something along those lines I do a lot of side jobs such as leaf removal helping somebody move with my truck landscaping carpentry anything and since I have downloaded Venmo I would say that almost half of my side work customers pay me through Venmo it makes everything so much easier and has pretty much in lemon dated me receiving checks
Saves me trips to the bank. What more could you ask for??
I love the app and I used to use it pretty regularly but now my bank account rarely stays attached. Hope they fix that bug soon.
I mistakenly sent a person 3 different transactions and then found out they were to the wrong person. I used to send this person before but stopped. Now I sent this same person the three transactions and the person doesn’t want to return my money. Venmo tells me since I transacted with the person before, they “can’t” block the transactions and return my money. Total BS!
Apparently doesn’t work outside US (and maybe Canada). No way to type in foreign telephone number for registration.
Thus far, I am pleased with the setup of Venmo. It was quick, easy, synced nicely with my PayPal and with my bank account for fund transfers. All programs, schools should use Venmo for easy purchases!
I never thought I would use Venmo as I do and how convenient it is!
It’s #2 somehow over PayPal it’s parent company is PayPal service is garbage and the App Store glitches for me and puts them at 3.9 then it switches to 4.9 🤔garbage app avoid at all cost it’s you money don’t even try it out
I had to delete my bank account and put it back in and the first request did not appear to go through, so I redid everything and it went through twice with them accepting my bank account in between email confirmations The first time I tried it said I did not have enough money in my Venmo account so that is why I did it again This was very embarrassing and I was sending the money as a hostess gift and then I had to turn around and request it back I am humiliated at having to ask her for the second duplicate payment back I really think I will use Zelle next time 🥵
Me duplicate payments. Worked once for me only! Switching to PayPal
