Worthless. If it don't work on a PC, it's useless. Waay more people own pc's, get a new version out.

volume control problem. I wanted to try the lite version before paying for it. The lite version just seems to work with Itunes and the free Remote app is much more intuitive. I was interested in being able to control more things on my computer. The volume control did not work in itunes, so I hesitate to get this until it is fixed.

Why?. Why even make something without Windows support?

No problems for me.. This app works great. It does everything it is supposed to... Keynote, iTunes, finder. Even with the lite version I can navigate a keynote show from my iPod touch.

Works like a charm!. What's not to like? I downloaded and installed jfControl Server and jfControlFree (Remote) and it worked as advertised right out of the box! So I bought the paid version. It's even better as it controls more; QuickTime, Finder, DVD, etc. Now I can put my feet up on my desk, lean back and control the movie with my Touch! Nice! Also works great when I need to flip through photos via CoverFlow in the Finder deleting the junk as I go!

Why would u even put on here then? no I'm not a mac hater macs are great its just some people just don't have macs because they have a windows(vista mabey)pc that is like a couple years old that is good so why whould I buy mac now? Besides macs are like the hummers of computers. Why would I buy something for like a thousand dollars more because it's popular and has a few extra programs? Person at store: Sales person: ok sir you can buy this destop windows pc that works great for about $500 or you can buy this one that is the kind of preppy upidy computer for $1500. But the second one is popular and has got a video program and some other programs you'll hardly use unless you'r on vacation everyday or post videos on YouTube or some other place online alot. Buyer: ummmm I think I'll go with the first one...I'd rather save $1000 instead of trying to impress the one person who acculy notices. So basicly, Support windows if you like lot more buisness from the thousands of people who agree with me.

What a joke!. Downloaded the app on the phone and computer... the app on the phone says it's connected, but does absolutely nothing! Pointless app!

Bewildered; am I missing something?. It wasn't intuitive in my opinion. All it did (as far as I could tell) was allow you to go up and down the finder list in column format. It was initially nifty to peruse the items and watch this from across the room, but I couldn't open the applications I wanted to. Drove me a bit nuts. However it does navigate your HD (Not hi-def) rather efficiently. One large problem.. The window/font was so small, I couldn't see it from my seat across the room. For me, that made it useless. It is possible that I just do not understand the uses for it, or missed key features. Or maybe it just simply doesn't work for my purposes. I will admit I have not used it in a while. So there's a good chance of inacuracy on my part. There must be a use that has some people entirely jazzed. And that's great! Please though, if I have entirely missed the point, can someone correct me? It gets one extra star for being free

Remote Control?. What's the difference between this app and the Remote App to control iTunes that is already offered? The Remote app is way way way nicer looking and works. Maybe i'm not getting this yet...... Still give 4 stars since its free and heck, dev took the time to make the app!

NOT FREE. This app is not free as far as I can tell. When I was lucky enough to reach the publisher's web site (which was rare) it showed the Mac server required to make this work was not free.

Ulgh. The developer needs to go back to the drawing board. The it is difficult to connect the application and the aplication did not work with keynote as advertised. I downloaded stage hand and it worked seamlessly.

Works. Lite version works great if all u wanna do is turn off ur iTunes playin mac from bed at night. Thnx. Great app

Won't work consitantly. I downloaded the free app and the required Mac software for my MacBook Pro 2.33 running X.4.11 and the program ran intermittantly -- I contacted Mr. Kammerer who guided me through the known config issues and the app still remains unstable; when I considered the non-free version this is the response I got: "Hello, please do not download the non-free version, because something is blocking the signals and I really don't know what the problem is. The last thing you can try is disabling the automatic configuration and setting up the ip adress directly, but I dont think this will help." Tried it again tonight and ti won't work -- looks like it could be a great app and I wish that the vol up and down buttons were continuous like "iTap", for example.

Doesn't work on tvs. It took me a minute to figure out that this isn't suppose to work on tvs. I'm sure if I had a mac it would be awesome.

Not a good free sample. Apple has a better controller of iTunes (and in the free version of jfControlFree, this is all you get - a stripped down version of Apple's Remote), so this is no trial at all. It's a pathetic trial, with the option to put your machine to sleep (woohoo), or adjust the system volume only. Inexplicably, there is an icon denoting the 'speaker', with a red cross through it, but no explanation of why or what volume it relates to. I need an app which can control Keynote, and able to switch to Safari - but this is not it. There are other alternatives to explore...

Poor Effort. Ugly and confusing interface. Doesn't look like an iPhone app. I don't expect a lot of functionality from a free app, but it was so pared down that I couldn't tell if the paid version, for which I would be willing to pay, would suit my needs. I won't be buying the paid version. On a positive note, Bonjour is employed. One other I tried required that I enter an IP address, which is archaic and unnecessary.

Whooh!. This app works fine with my Mac. I don't know why u guys even got this app! It says in the description that it only supports Macs! Oh well! It's good to have a mac. The following is kinda a reveiw for macs I used to have a pc and when I switched to mac, I realy saw a differance. It's faster, never crashes and is much, much, much more organized. I HATE pcs!!!!!!!
