After I pay still lockdown the feature. Very hard to use it, when I hit the photo then everything lockdown. And even you purchased there is no different.

Don’t be fooled. Really quite ridiculous. Check it out free, but don’t just get sucked into buying it like I did. Not impressive. Just one size fits all images. Terrible.

Toonify and Emojifi doesn’t work 9/10 times. Great concept and if it worked most of the time, this would be a brilliant app. Even bought the pro version thinking those features would work. But alas, a sheer waste of forty bucks! Got only one pic out of 10 to actually convert to a emoji or cartoon image.

Scam. Period. Read the reviews. Why are there tons of one word 5-star reviews that say “Fun” and “Great” ?? AND hundreds of angry 1-star reviews with a paragraph about this horrible/broken/rip-off app. You have to pay up front to get your 3 free days. Forget it!

Misleading - not free. Apple really should do something about this type of misrepresentation. The app isn't free. You can download it for free, but you have to pay a very steep subscription cost to use the app. Clickbait.

This is so bad. I just unlocked everything, tried it and want a refund. The photos don’t look anything like what’s advertised. Makes you look like a hot mess. Don’t fall for it

Amazingly craptastic. It’s an app that you pay for. If you think it’s free, expect to be dissatisfied. Not sure if what the resulting image has anything to do with the original image or if it’s choosing from a few images in its storage. The images it spits out are nothing I would even send to a person I didn’t like. It’s total spamware if you expect it to be anything other than a for-pay app.

Crap App. Please don’t waste your money. Wish I could get mine back. Limited features even with a lifetime subscription. I really only wanted it to “avatarify” photos but you are limited to 7 or 8 options and no choice of music.

No trial period? Pay immediately. An app costing $79 dollars is expected to have at least a week to try, this app doesn’t offer even a day? To pay $79 dollars before even trying is not good business, unfortunately this overrated at a huge cost. Thumbs down.

need to work on uploads. I loove playing with this app but I have to keep shutting it down in order for it to recognize new pictures. I would also want to strip music and use my own for when animating photos. That would be cool.

Fun Game. I love this app I just purchased it and it’s going amazing but other comments it’s twisting around so maybe it might get worse but for now it’s a great game

Nope. Turn Around.. I’ve never written a review about an app and this is so bad, I had to. Every time I used the ‘Avatarify’ function (that seems to be their best part if it worked), it won’t use the photo I chose. If I use a photo I take with it, it still doesn’t work. The illustration interpretations are poor and sometimes won’t load. They will simple tell you, “Error”. Unreliable, overrated and simple a money grab. Nope. Turn around.

Scam, stolen artwork, false advertising. The art they advertise as the cartoons you can use filters to get are directly ripped from artists. You can find each of their Instagram pages where the cartoon was stolen from for this. That sketchiness aside, you then have to pay a monthly subscription to do anything within the app, and the actual cartoon-filter is just absolutely garbage, super weird and bad. You’d be better off googling “vector art free upload” and get yourself a vector picture, it’d be free and look a lot closer to a cartoon that this is.

I paid I like to see more. You only have a small hand of Gifs. We would like to see more. Please.

Disappointed. It advertised certain effects that were not in the app. The app also seemed to have issues accessing my photos. Really not comfortable with this purchase at this time.

Cash grab. I can’t even see anything interesting without being forced to pay. I have no idea why I’d pay yet because I’ve seen nothing that would tempt me. It’s like the sales person has shown me theoretical examples of what is possible but I just have to trust them. Now give me too much money every month. No.

Glitchy. Fun and nice options but super glitchy, slow, lots of error messages. The “aging” one just pops up a generic picture of an elderly person, not your pic. Glad I had 24 hours to cancel.

*Caution*. If you decide to proceed with purchasing the year subscription (or longer), just know that the “updates” they push rarely include new Avatar songs. It’s been 6 months and I’ve been severely let down with the lack of updates pushed, in order to enjoy new content. If you do the free trial subscription, make sure you go straight to your Purchases under settings and cancel. I will provide updates if the developer changes and/or adds features but it’s not worth the money if all they want to update is variations of pictures

Garbage. Bought this app, entered my email and it sent me a confirmation for my email, will not let me sign in and says my email is not found. Support keeps saying this email can’t be found when the only reason I received the confirmation in the first place was because it was the email registered. Now they want almost my whole account number apparently to find the payment when it came out of my account almost immediately. Sorry not giving my whole account number when they have my email, this was sent to them again with their confirmation email to me and they still say they cannot find the email or payment. How are they emailing me if they cannot find it? Absolute garbage, fraud!

Didn’t work. Doesn’t work on Live Photo’s kept freezing at the end Edit isn’t on phone it’s done somewhere else Multiple confusing member ship offers at the beginning. Varying price points for the same amount of time.

Waste of time and money. This app doesn’t do what’s advertised at all. The cartoon images they show are utterly fake. You get nothing close to that. Whenever I find an app like this that is such a fraud it makes me wonder it’s true purpose. There are lots of scam apps in the App Store now that steal info from your phone. I’m not saying this app does that I’m just saying it doesn’t do what they say it does. I’m removing it from my phone and if you’ve installed it before reading these reviews, remove it immediately.

Only Avatarify is working for me. I purchased the life time subscription yesterday, and i tried the app, and results that only the avatarify (video rendering) is working, while the (Fun) filters none of them is working for me, i did many tries, and changed many pics and tried many different filters (Toonify…Emojify … and so) and the (processing) takes like over a minute and then i get the (Oops) msg hat something went wrong… either the app has a bug… or the functions do not work as described … Though that the app looks interesting … but i paid to get full access for lifetime functions … and did not get it…. Sorry to say that this is not right to be done.

Crashes way too much. Crashes way too much...cool concept was able to get three pictures done in like an hours time since it keeps crashing

Full pay app. Not free. This is a full pay app. Pretends it’s free or there are free features to play around with. Instead it immediately forces you to sign up for $40 a month access before you even get a single thing to see.

I paid just to do this ? Am disappointed. I’m disappointed. It said $39 as a life time fee.. then say an extra $19. So I decide to try this app anyway because from the previews of it it seemed worth it . Singing photos and other special effects . But when I downloaded it , I only have a few things I can do to my photos that I could do for free from some place else. Like changing the lightening etc on a photo . Filters .. um did I pay just to do that ? Or is it somewhere on the app and I just didn’t find the option yet other then that false advertisement.

Worst picture animation app I’ve seen yet. The mouth is blurry and it just stretches the entire frame making it look like surroundings are dancing also. Another pic it couldn’t even find the face and just skewed the entire picture various directions.

Good so far. It’s cool so far, don’t like that I paid for the app and still have to do stuff to unlock more features

Caution - not for my world. It says “for iPad” but when I get it loaded - wrong! It’s for iPhone (portrait orientation) my iPad is landscape oriented - permanently. My iPad is attached to the Magic Keyboard - in landscape orientation. If this product were actually designed for the iPad, it would know that and adjust. This is another product designed for the phone - they didn’t even allow for landscape use - I delete those products and keep looking for ones that do. After reading some of the reviews, I’ve made the right choice.

New to this. Seems easy enough

Does not work on dark skinned people. This app should come with a warning, as it only works on White people, or people with very light complexions. I’m of medium dark complexion, but it was enough to make the app lose its mind. Cartoonify mode actual produced something that could have been painted by Salvador Dali. If you’re darker than a nice tan, you might want to hold off on this one.

Complete crap. Biggest bait and switch. Can’t even use the app without buying a subscription. I’m not paying for something that I can’t try out to make sure it works. I can’t believe all the 4 and 5 star reviews. Obviously those people got a different app than I did. 🤷‍♂️

False Advertising. The one thing most people download this for does not work. It will not use your photos on the Avitarify feature. iPhone X Developer Needs to fix the issues.

Fake. The samples shown on the app description probably were done using other program or by hand, not using this app. I’ve tried even using the same photos shown on the samples getting results completely different.

It’s okay. It’s alright lol it’s not the best some off the filters like emojify and the ones similar all look super wonky 😂it chant the background and everything

Crashes. All it does is say “processing” and then after the progress bar completes an “Ooops!” message appears. I gave it 3 tries, then deleted the app. Maybe it can’t handle large photos from the internal camera?

Worked about 3 times. The free version with ads almost makes it almost unusable. I did get about 2-3 tries and then it keeps freezing on the upload. Glad I didn’t pay for it.

Oops. Something went wrong. Try again with another app. Photos need to be very specifically composed for the app to work. Tried it with friends and only 1 of 14 photos we tried it with resulted in any output, and even then the ai couldn’t handle facial hair or glasses. Also very expensive. There are more useable apps with far superior capability for a tenth of the price. Avoid this expensive waste of memory.

Uh, lies. All the filters literally just return a gif of the example and not the photo you put in.

Just adverts - no function. Any attempt to do anything starts an advert, BUT there is no way to go past the advert after it ends other then by closing the app. Absolutely useless - a scam!

Not as advertised. The conversions of photos, especially using the toonify filter, come out grainy and poor quality despite lighting and camera quality. This app is absolute garbage, be warned, and DO NOT BUY!

Refine: Video & Photo Editors. Well, I don’t know what these other reviewers want for no money. I found the avatars were hilarious, especially with photos of past relatives over 100 years or so old. Singing modern stuff, with attitude? Priceless!

Be careful if you want to try this app.. I installed the app to try it under the free period. I uninstalled it after using it once. Uninstalling it did not cancel the subscription, you have to go into iTunes and cancel the subscription manually. Very misleading and I was charged for a week’s worth of service for an app I didn’t even have installed!

This app is awful. I never do app reviews. The pictures it generates are awful and nothing as expected and I’ve used several different photos of different people.

Not doing what it said. I paid for this to animate photos. It’s not working. When I tried to use another filter it said I could unlock it if I wrote a review. Here you go. This app was not worth my time or money.

Work Required on Diversity. This app is unable to work with people of colour. It makes black people appear Caucasian. More work is required.

BadApp. Its so expensive for unlimited. When purchased, I came to know that its not what they show in the facebook ads. Nothing work as they show in their videos. Wasted my $50 on this garbage.
