So far, so so.. If may be premature to rate this since the season is only a couple weeks old. One thing that bugs me is the light grey fonts on white background. Not enough contrast for my 45 year old eyes. The other issue is more of an issue with wunderground. I’ve been using their website for years at work. The last couple of years I have found their service to be very inaccurate, especially their weather history since it will pull historical data from weather stations that may be 60 plus miles away. The accuracy of the DeerCast remains to be seen as the season is just beginning.

Not Accurate for South Mississippi. When it says Great no deer. When it said poor I had deer movement. The free moon phase “Best Hunting” was more accurate than Deer Cast. I do like the feature of where you hit the deer though, however, do not depend on the Great, Ok, and Poor as it just is not accurate for normal everyday working man property. Maybe for the Drury property that sees minimal pressure and deer can grow to 5+ years with a near perfect herd, maybe a it’s accurate there. But not for those of us that have 15+ member's in our clubs and happy if a state legal buck shows once a year.

History and Shot Angle. Love the app, look at it every day and really enjoy learning from the years of knowledge you guys have acquired. Would like it if it were possible to look back at previous days deercast. When checking pictures, I would like to know what the wind, moon, barometer were doing at the time of pictures. Would also like if the deer could be turned in deercast track to match the shot angle.

Shot an 8 point at 1:00pm!. So the group I hunt with usually goes out to their blinds right before first light and back in by 11:00 and then takes a nap and heads back out at around 4- dark but when I looked at this app it said the deer were only going to be active from 1:00-2:00 so I decided to get right back out there at 12:30 and right at 1:15 a huge buck came walking by and I got him I was super surprised by the accuracy of the app and I’d highly recommend checking it out!

Please don’t tell.. I love this app and I am on it for the entire year. Please don’t tell my neighbors, I go this cheap advantage! The cost of the app is too cheap and it’s perfect for the regular guy who wants an advantage, whatever advantage we can get over these magnificent animals is great, especially at the low price for the app. Working class on Deer cast is an absolute addition! Must see or hear!

Not happy. I’ve got 6 cameras out and movement pretty regular. Some days better than most depending on weather and pressure. I’ve kept track of the “great” days and have been hunting around 2 of the 6 cameras. Earlier in the week, the conditions were “okay to good”. Yesterday and today were “great”. I didn’t see a deer either day. I thought “maybe it’s just me being in the woods, spooked them, etc.” I checked all 6 cameras. No movement since Wednesday. But there was ALOT of movement on Wednesday. The day that was “okay”. Absolutely no movement Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday. All say “Great”. I knew spending $20 on a hunting app was stupid but I did it anyway to see if it worked. It doesn’t. Here’s $20 worth of advise. Unless you are a SUPER inexperienced hunter, don’t buy this app.

Useful in the field and out. I use this app mostly to keep track of weather and how it effects deer movement, but I have adapted it a little to make it work for Elk as well. Although it seems more useful for Whitetail than Mule Deer I am hoping they continue to advance it. It would be nice to have a button so it knows you are going into an area for a few days with no internet and it just downloads information- Outside of hunting, I have used it to look at forecasts and decide if a different spot might be better based on weather patterns. I also watch a lot of the videos for inspiration and just to get pumped.

Deer cast app. I had the original version and updated to the elite as soon as it was available and i love it. I hunt a 10 acer and a 40 acer property both surrounded by neiboring farms and hunting property so i am limited in where i can sit and food plot sizes, so dont always see the big mature deer even when deercast says great but thats not that the apps wrong. Cuz i do still get pics of them at night. Its just that they arent getting to me before dark. All in all its pretty accurate after discussing whith neighbors what they were seeing and when. And i also love the deercast track. Even with a ton of experience its still good to look it up and get other advice to either rethink my thoughts or confirm what my plan was gonna be. And i love reading everybody elses stories and seeing there pics. Kind of like hunting camp but a whole lot bigger. Way to go to the whole drury team!!

Ok but not great. It’s a good tool to use when planning hunts but it’s been wildly inaccurate for me in the mid Atlantic. I’ve seen much more deer movement on bad and poor days than I have on any great days. Also have had many poor or ok days change to good and great after the fact due to this being a “real time” formula, so keep that in mind when you plan your hunts as well. The other huge knock is the compete lack of moderation on comments within the posts on the app, the place is full of trolls like any internet connected forum but it should be cleaned up. I doubt I’d spend money on it again but I will probably continue to take a peek at the free data before I head to the woods to see if anything changes in the future.

Love this app! And accurate predictions!!. This is a great app and with incredible accuracy. The Drury brothers have forgotten what most will ever know in regards to deer hunting and done a great job teaching others. I’m not a social media kind of guy, but I love the educational articles on deer behavior, deer signs, stand placement etc. I would enjoy it more if there was maybe more educational articles or video clips from the drury brothers themselves. But overall, I am extremely pleased with the app. Great job guys!!!

Mark & Terry did a nice job!. I purchased DEERCAST in September before bow season started in Illinois. I can definitely tell you from experience that it is very beneficial. I can verify that the GOOD & GREAT hunting days labeled on the App are definitely that. I had over 30 sits this season. That along with the data from my 5 trail cameras tells me that these guys know what they are doing. There is a bunch of other perks with the app as well. My favorites are the videos that Mark and Terry do breaking down all of the phases of the season. This would be very beneficial to new hunters. The Elite package is not much more so it’s definitely worth it. Sometimes they offer promotions for the app on podcasts and other places. Look for those as well.

Glitchy, but highly recommended. I just got this app. I installed it, set my location and then tried to watch some videos. For example, I tried watching the video about Mark’s rut hunting. First the video had no sound. I saw on these reviews that I have to have my ringer on. (Which is a major issue for me when hunting) So in the process of trying to watch a video and finding out how to get sound, the app crashed twice. It seems like every time I exit out of a video, the app crashes. The app is definitely something that I would probably pay for if it worked correctly. There just seems to be a lot of glitches in it. Now, I understand that in the process of developing and releasing apps there is a matter of testing and updating it to remove the glitches. Getting the bugs worked out so to say. That is why I am giving it 5 stars. I see it all the time, a company releases an app, a bunch of people get the app and try it out. They realize that it does not work perfectly (although it is free and they lost nothing except a little time) and they proceed to give it terrible reviews. Then the company updates and fixes all of the issues in the app and the app gets running very smooth. Those negative reviewers never update their review so it looks like the app has a bunch of negative reviews. So the company updates and improves the app and the negative people never update their reviews. If you ask me, sounds like the negative reviewers are the ones who should be defending their review.

Very helpful tool. Absolutely love DeerCast. I’ve screenshot my daily DeerCast and hourly DeerCast since it first came out, and when I check cams, will match up the pics against that particular day’s screenshots. Very accurate! There may be some outliers from time to time, but overall, DeerCast has proved to be a very accurate tool and helps me to know when we need to be in the blinds/stands and when to stay out of our hunting spots. We see more deer, and have tagged out each year while using DeerCast. Several buddies will ask me when they should be in their blinds and when they should stay out. My answers always begin with, “According to DeerCast....” and they tag out as well each season. PRICELESS tool for hunters

Reliable Tool. I’ve used this app for a few years now. The free version will get you started. But, it’s worth the annual fee to upgrade. It’s highly customizable which really allowed me to dial in on where the herd was at as far as the rut. The weather, wind and pressure levels are invaluable. This app also allowed me to plan ahead for time off. No app is perfect. But, this one covers the basics and provides beginner level guidance to get you to the next level. If you’re not using it, you should be.

This is an Awesome tool!!. Thanks to the Drury’s for giving us an edge. This app is top notch. Some of the low rating reviews it’s getting are hunter error in my opinion. There is no phone app or computer program that can tell you you will for sure see or kill a deer. It can only tell you the likelihood of deer movement based on all the important factors and this app does that without a doubt. If it’s a great day for deer movement in your area and you aren’t seeing anything maybe you are hunting in the wrong spot and if you are getting tons of trail cam pictures when you aren’t there maybe you should take the hint that you are being winded or spooking them out way before you see them. Great job with the app guys!! Thank you.

Great addition to the hunting areas along. Not the end all be all with hunting apps, but for what it does do, it nails it spot on. The mad scientist defiantly has figured out the “trick” to telling most of the time, when the vast majority of the deer will be moving. I have looked at all the factors myself, and never could figure out which one took precedence that day. This makes it simple and easy and takes guess work out of it. Nice work Drurys.

Great App so far, no issues!!!. I have tried a few other Apps but didn’t like the price of premium version and free version was worthless. Deer cast has been spot on so far with free version and a wealth of information and videos as well. They confirmed something that I have noticed for years as a Biologist but didn’t have the data to back up my hypothesis. Thanks for the information and tying together the idea I had of the barometric pressure and movement.

Deercast. The content is always entertaining and knowledgeable. The new mapping in deercast is great. The level of detail you can see in the app’s mapping allows you to better understand the area you’re studying. The deer movement predictor is nice to help plan out your next few weeks of hunting. Had a small glitch/problem when I upgraded from elite+ to pro but was quickly and easily resolved. Really enjoy this app especially with the mapping now.

I wouldn’t buy. Better apps out there. Do not buy. Free is ok if your into the videos and media content. I’m very moon dependent and I don’t agree with A lot of the times they claim for certain activities most of the time the sunrise and sunset aren’t even correct. App seems to be more concentrated on videos than actual forecasting of weather and whitetail movement. There’s a few better apps with a lot more features for free. UPDATE: after having it for a few months I don’t recommend anyone pay for the service. They have not once been correct on even the time of sunrise or sunset for my areas! That’s critical if people are using the times in this app to help Determine shooting times. Moon readings and data given for peak times are not accurate I’m not one to ever review anything but this is not fair to someone who doesn’t know any better and thinks what they see and read on this app are correct.

The app is spot on. I up graded to the elite last year after using the free app for a short time. I have limited time to spend in the woods due to my job. Deer Cast is very accurate I also like that the app updates on a regular basis due to the local weather patterns as the national weather service update current conditions and approaching fronts I also use mobile cameras that sends pics directly to my phone. I am consistently watching deer cast vs camera deer movement. The app is spot on.... I have read some other negative reviews about the product that I don’t agree with the users point of view. You still have to use your hunting skills to consistently see deer. This is not a magic wand you wave and deer appear. You still need your stand placements in the right location, scent control is a must, and keep your stands fresh and don’t over hunt them. This is a great tool if used properly

Great app from Drury Team! Experts at their craft. This app gives you a great algorithm. Most apps like this give you info based off the moon phases only or from the farmers almanac. This combines all of them plus live weather factors to help determine your best times to hit the woods. If your more than just a weekend warrior you know weather has more to do with deer movement than anything else. This app is fantastic!

Best app for the money out there. This app has about 5 different apps all wrapped up in one that is perfect for the deer Hunter. It helps maximize time in the woods reassuring you that your joy wasting time out there when there maybe other things you need to do. It is extremely accurate in my area(northwestern Illinois) and I learn more and more information out of it weekly. The app won’t do the hunting for you but it certainly is a great way to learn and encourage you in the levels of progress in your deer hunting. Thank you for all your work Drurys you sure don’t have to take time and lots of money to put this out but I am certainly greatful!!!

Keeps it even more interesting. I am entering into my third season using this app. I cannot say anything negative about it . It has worked on the technical end without fail . I am more than satisfied with movement predictions on any given day. I mean keeping in mind that you have to be in an area that supports deer to actually see deer. What I mean is , being realistic about what may or may not happen on any given day in the field. There are a lot of other things that can make or break a hunt. Taking that into consideration the app is great.

Great App but needs Dark Mode. Love the app and I credit it for much of my hunting success over the last couple years. I’m a very analytical person when it comes to hunting and this app has everything I need in one stop. It takes hundreds of years of combined hunting experience and makes it available to everyone. I’m very appreciative to the Drury Team for their hard work and efforts in this application. Only criticism I have is I’m a night shift person and the screen is always SOOO bright. PLEASE INCLUDE A DARK MODE!!!!!! Other than that it is the best overall deer hunting app out there.

Enjoyed using. Really enjoy the benefits of the app it definitely is a game changer. It would be so much better if you could somehow predict further out than 5 days. We are a normal working family and have limited vacation time and it’s a chore every year to try to predict best time to take off. I would imagine that with all your data you could predict further than 5 days. We were very happy with its predictions this season as we were on a new property in Ohio and movement was spot on we were just a week to early for peak activity.

Very accurate. Anytime the app has said it would be great for hunting I always see a ton of deer, any time it says it aim good for huntin I don’t see much if anything. The tracking diagrams are very helpful. I enjoy looking through the feed seeing what everyone else is getting around the country. I definitely recommend getting the app. I also recommend paying for the elite. I mean, come on, spend a little money for a ton of extras on the app? I say yes!! It’s worth it!

This App has changed the way I hunt. From watching the weather and wind and guessing where to hunt, to now opening 1 app and having it rate all those things for you, I have become a believer. It has been so right at times, that deer have stafted moving right to the hour that Deer Cast has said they would. Two bucks hanging on my wall I can thank DeerCast for AND I've been able to sleep in on those "Poor" and "Bad" days. If you aren't using this app, I would compare that to going into a sword fight without your sword.

Could be better!!!!. This app is alright..... I gave it a three out of 5 based on the platform in wich it stands..... only showing pictures and videos of deer that most people will never see unless they go hunt farmed deer..... my second issue would be that even though I have never had to use the deer tracker portion it should be available for free. As conservationists it is our responsibility to try make sure deer that are shot are recovered.......I do like the actual deer cast portion. And the video tips on phases are informative...also what’s up with the deer cast changing mid day... was supposed to be bad I checked at 430 am then I check again at 1030am and it says it’s good kinda inconsistent. Just another big name hunter trying to make money off another inconsistent product.

DeerCast never accurate. Was excited to use DeerCast this hunting season and looked at it daily. Found out throughout archery and now into rifle it has not been accurate for my area of PA. Every time it was showing “Great” I saw very little movement. Love the show, dislike the app! So I get this response... “when you have a good or great DeerCast, that means the weather conditions in your hunting area are ideal for deer movement. If you are hunting in an area that does not have deer, or have outside pressures, coyotes, other hunters, etc. that will factor in to you not seeing deer.” TERRIBLE RESPONSE!!!! I’ve been hunting this area for 35 years, it is private 300+ acres which 5 of us hunt. There are plenty of deer and we have killed 130’s and 140’s in the past. The app is just not accurate nor does it predict deer movement. Arrogant response if you ask me!!! Even more disappointed!!!

Gives you an edge. I enjoy using this app and check it frequently. I’ve used it all Fall so far. It gives hunters invaluable information and a place to connect with like minded people. I’ve noticed a minor bug or two....but they seem to get addressed quickly when they arise. What I witness afield isn’t always exactly what the app says they will be...but it’s pretty darn close most of the time. A lot more accurate then my local weather forecast on the news lol. I tell every hunter I meet to get the app if they don’t currently have it. That being said...I’m not the type of person to pay for apps on my phone. It doesn’t matter how good they are....and this app is great....but I’ll continue to use it until I have to pay for it. I don’t begrudge anyone a paycheck, I just don’t pay for apps.

Great app, only one recommendation!. Love the App! It’s nice to have all weather info relevant to hunting all in one place. If anything, it gets me STOKED to hunt when I see everything lining up for a great day to get in the stand. Only recommendation I have would be to have videos categorized by dates and general location so you are able to watch how deer react and act during that specific day/phase of rut. Would just add to the excitement watching a big buck killed on a day that you plan on hitting the stand! Will buy the $20 subscription again next year!

Awesome Site. So after a new season has started and all the waiting for the leaves to change and the deer forecasts to show up and go and enjoy that first sit in the white tails woods what site did I go to to plan my hunt? Like so many others DeerCast was my first stop. Thank you Drury’s for a awesome tool that is easy to navigate and to take with you anywhere you hunting tags take you. For people that don’t want to spend the money I was one of those people at first but then I thought if you make coffee at home three days instead of stopping at your local coffee spot that’s all it costs for a wealth of great hunting knowledge. Thanks again for a great app and content a NJ deer hunter.

Great weather info. Not even close on deer phases in my area.. The weather information is great and normally as accurate or more than the weather channel app. Deer movement has a decent correlation to deer movement, but the deer phases for my area are off in a major way. I live in southeast alabama, in what might be the most screwed up rut timings inside of a 100 mile diameter circle in the country, so can’t say I blame the company for not sinking money into getting this areas rut right. Look at the rut studies done by the state of AL if you don’t know what I mean. Small area and very very small percentage of the market, but it is the main reason I cancelled my elite subscription. To be honsest though, I’ll probably be back after I get my panties out of a wad because deer cast track is probably almost worth the subscription fee by itself.

Dead-on Accurate. When you truly take the time to dial in your hunting area on the DeerCast app, it is crazy accurate. I have discovered that I can trust the days it says won’t be worth going into the woods and backed it up with my trail cam footage. Likewise, when it says to get out there and when to call, use decoys, etc., it has not failed me. So far, four deer in two years and I just got started this season. Nobody is perfect. Nobody is perfect, Im not saying your app is gonna have the right conditions to hunt every time. I use your app as more of a guide than having the facts if that makes sense. Your app helps me and I also use it in conjunction with other hunting and weather apps. You do however keep up with responding to reviews and that is a plus in my book. Keep up the good work and always find something small and new to bring to the table.

Waste of money confusing. It's basically a program that tells you the weather for your locale. There are no instructions on how to use the app or what the app does it's extremely confusing and there is no tutorials or support whatsoever you're pretty much on your own with this program to try to figure it out multiple buttons and toggle switches that are not explained these buttons and toggle switches can change your hunting forecast from Excellent to pour and there's no rhyme or reason to it. You're basically paying for a weather program and four small video clips of the Drewerys don't waste your money

Best hunting app!. The Drury’s are some of the best in the industry, and this app puts them and their vast knowledge bank in your pocket! The breakdowns of the season, tactics for hunting each phase, and the videos and stories thrown in for entertainment are all top notch. But, the shot tracker is the best part! Even when I watch a deer I’ve just shot fall in sight, I still check the shot tracker to help better understand where exactly I hit that animal. It’s helped me and countless friends positively identify shots on deer and exactly when to start the recovery process. Every deer hunter should get this app!

Mia-priced features. I think the app is pretty good, but keep in mind the “ok” “good” and “great” descriptions are not totally accurate since you are dealing with wild animals. I also feel the DeerCast tracking feature and all its versions should be available with any of the subscriptions. DOD claims they added this to help hunters be ethical and to aid in the recovery of animals so this should not be withheld for premium subscriptions paying $50 or more for this app. I think the DOD self promotion, journals, blogs and videos should be withheld as premium Content for those that really want all that from DOD. Please consider adding DeerCast track to any and all subscription levels so it can help all subscribers/hunters who have shot or wounded an animal. THAT is truly helping hunters.

Great means great!. When the deer cast app forecasts a “great” evening, be prepared for some action! I have a learned so much from this app about patterning and timing deer movement. I am no novice either, I manage 1,700 acres strictly for Whitetails, have hunted for 26 years and have taken over 25 bucks scoring 140+”s, and I am still find this app invaluable in my planning and hunting strategy. Pay for the premium service, this is the best hunting app hands down.

PAST WEATHER!!!!!. I’ve watched every one of your episodes at least twice. Picked up a ton! Doing an unbelievable amount of reconnaissance, and I could use some help. It’s unbelievably difficult to find accurate past weather information. Please add a feature for premium subscribers, such as myself, to access up to 10 days past weather information, including wind, temp, BP, humidity, moon phase, etc. I truly believe that this would do a great job of rounding out the app for the seasoned/ experienced outdoorsman. Thanks for all the tips and tricks. It’s made a big difference.

I recommend. Not going to lie I was skeptical of this app and if it was accurate or not but this past weekend it said movement was going to be great with peak movement from 10-11 am. It was 15 degrees and windy and the only reason I stayed in the stand past 10am was this app. I saw 2 spikes up to that point but I stuck it out and chaos erupted at 10:30 with deer everywhere and I caped off killling an 11 point buck at 11am.

Doesn’t seem to correctly predict movement. I’ve tried using this to plan hunts and days off from work. Unfortunately for me, the predictions don’t seem to mirror what my deer do. Too many times the app says great deer movement and I see absolutely nothing. Other times when it says bad movement, I see all kinds of deer. It also seems to change way too often. Literally the app will say bad movement one hour (say for 4 pm today) and the prediction will change to great for that same time period the next hour. I think I will be better off just hunting when I can and applying what I know about my deer to time my hunts.

Love this App!!. This is the best deer hunting app around! There is a free version as well as two upgrades to receive all the goodies. DEERCAST itself is worth it to me but when you throw in all of the Drury Outdoors and Mossy Oaks video library and videos of Mark and Terry breaking down each phase of the season it makes this a must have. The DEERCAST Track is the best tool on the market for helping you find a poorly hit deer and could be its own stand alone app. I would highly recommend this app to any hunter.

Unable to Request Support or Ask a Question. Before I subscribe, I was searching for information on FamilyShare regarding subscriptions since they’re considered in-app purchases. I’ve been burned by this before on other apps - apps will say they support FamilyShare and they “may” support in-app purchases (which are usually subscriptions) and half the time the don’t support in-app purchases. Developers should have to be clear on this. So, I couldn’t find help or support on this topic nor could I find the help/support area where I could ask the question. Does your app support FamilyShare for in-app purchases, aka, subscriptions?

Spot on. I live outside the Midwest in a high pressure location and was skeptical if this would be helpful. After using this app this season, I can say that it has helped me be a better hunter and helped me better plan limited time off in the deer woods. I normally don’t hunt much late season and especially in high wind and a nearly full moon but the app said it was likely to be great hunting the next morning after a big rain and it was going to be 15 mph winds. Sure enough 6 deer and then big boy 10 pointer walks by after a doe. The app uses algorithms to evaluate all the variables like lunar feeding times, plus temperature, cloud cover, barometric pressure, wind, rainfall, time of the rut, etc, to assign a rating for expected deer activity. The better the rating, the more concentrated the activity will be. It’s now my second favorite hunting app, after my mapping app. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Not accurate enough to pay for pro or elite. I used the paid Elite version for about a year, honestly it’s the same data you can get for free anywhere else. If the DeerCast portion had a better UI, and was more accurate, it would be worth the $20/yr, but as it sits today, I’ve spent too many “good-great” days seeing nothing and too many “poor-ok” days seeing lots of deer. Lastly, the app doesn’t work when there’s poor cell cover, other hunting apps do.

Love DeerCast. I don’t get the chance to be in a tree as much as I would like (work, kids, life) but when I do I want to maximize my time. DeerCast gives me one location to go that helps me better understand the when and why of deer hunting. Nothing is flawless but I’ve found DeerCast to be a good tool for predicting movement. Rut in northern Iowa is my vacation each year. Utilizing the tools for the past couple years has proven to me the DeerCast will be reasonably accurate down to the hours. I’m a data driven person so this has been a great tool. The one enhancement I would suggest is adding a personal diary where I can keep logs on my hunts, from deer activity, weather conditions, possibly even pictures, etc. Being able to go back and look at my historical information would be helpful in determining hunts in future years. Please consider adding this functionality as I believe it would add great benefits for your loyal users.

Don’t waist your money.. You can get the same results today with the weather app and simply a few simple google search’s. I wish I’d never even bought it! Complete waste of money. I’ve gotten a response from my above post. I’m not changing my star rating because it’s useless. Their response what that’s the whole point of this app... having it all in one place. Well that’s not worth the money to most people. So hears another major flaw with the app! The weather doesn’t change with the actual weather in real time. If you read or listen to deer cast articles and videos, they will say the right and dear movement is solely based upon “the weather”!

Must have. This app gives you the options for the free version to the paid versions. Each option is worth its price in gold for getting the insight of two of the best deer hunters out there. A Great tool for deciding on what days to take off work. With the paid version you get the added benefit of deer tracker, for reassuring your shot placement. Plus you also get the DOD library of all your favorite hunts and get live updates of how other hunters are doing. Drury knocked it out of the park with this app.

Do not pay for this app... I’ve used this app both last year and this year and trust me, it definitely is not accurate. Some days it stated it was good / great for hunting and I saw little to no activity. I own 200 acres with plenty of Doe, & Bucks, with little pressure from surrounding land. This year, very much the same. An example would be 12/29.. here in Alabama it rained all day and was 75 degrees. Deer cast said it was poor morning and evening. Rain stopped around 3, I saw more Buck/Doe interaction than I have in 2 years. I have a 9point on cam at 10:09 am, in the rain. Today, deer cast said good for the morning and evening and literally nothing moved. One button buck 5 min before Legal shooting time was up. Understanding, it is hit and miss, simply because we are dealing with Mother Nature and wildlife. At the end of the day, put little stock in moon phases, pressure and all of the things these “professional hunters” say... put the hours in, realize deer are always moving and have to eat. Keep pressure low and stay in the woods or food plots. You will see them. Save the money/time and do not go off of what this app says.

A Canadian hunter. I initially heard about the app while listening to the Wired to hunt podcast and was interested in seeing how it could help with hunting this year. The app looks awesome, but sadly it isn’t available for use in Canada right now. Hopefully it comes out in an update, then I’m sure my review will change

Time and effort. The fact that this app is rated a 2.9 is mind boggling. I understand it was developed to help hunters with what they do in the field but this just shows me that most are lazier than expected. First season last year it was helpful, however after the second season its almost irreplaceable. You have to aid the app, put your time in understand your deer heard and use the custom slide to hone in on what you’re seeing in your specific region year after year. I cannot wait to see what happens in year three. The only thing I wish is that the weather aspect of it was more accurate. Obviously nobody can perfectly predict weather but If you could change it in real time to accurately reflect our local weather stations and what we are experiencing it would be a big win.

Love it!. I love the free version and I am so ready to get the paid Elite version. Said end of July and we’re now in August. Hope it’s soon so I can get use to all the new features before the Georgia Bow season that opens September 14th. So looking forward to the new version and if it anything like what your video shows it’s going to be awesome!!

I need help. The app is great accurate for the days and times it’s almost spot on it’s amazing but for some reason I can’t upgrade to the elite or anything, I try to tap it to upgrade and nothing really happens. I don’t know if it’s just me or my phone so if anyone sees this or knows about this and has a solution please let me know. Overall great app

If you know. Have to say been using Deer Cast for 4 years now. When your tied to only public land hunts the info on Baro and Temps is extremely useful. Plus all the stories by outdoors men and women are just an addition to the overall app. Shot placement is also great if someone gets a questionable hit, deer track ! Only see it getting better

Not worth the $$. This app is definitely not worth the $40 spent. I used this for (2) seasons and it was rarely correct. Feeding patterns were a joke and the only thing that actually worked was the sunrise / sunset times, but of course you can get that information from anywhere. Do yourself a favor and learn to pattern deer by getting out in the woods. The men and women of Drury Outdoors have a lot to offer in terms of knowledge, experience, and success, but it don’t translate into this app.

Unable to Request Support or Ask a Question. Before I subscribe, I was searching for information on FamilyShare regarding subscriptions since they’re considered in-app purchases. I’ve been burned by this before on other apps - apps will say they support FamilyShare and they “may” support in-app purchases (which are usually subscriptions) and half the time the don’t support in-app purchases. Developers should have to be clear on this. So, I couldn’t find help or support on this topic nor could I find the help/support area where I could ask the question. Does your app support FamilyShare for in-app purchases, aka, subscriptions?

Great Facebook. This app constantly changes ! I wait for great hunting days on deer cast and it will tell me great and wake up for hunt and will say poor . The last 7 great days changed from great to poor or ok in hours from my hunt And on top of that if your in the woods and no internet then the app is worthless! I’ve done the upgrade but this Drury forecast has never given me a great day in a year and can’t mark my stands or get wind because no internet in the woods. I wish it was reliable Charles Remy

Terrible money gimmick. I have used the app for 2 seasons now. I have hunted the days where the app says great day for movement and haven’t seen anything hardly a squirrel on multiple accounts. I have also hunted the days that it says poor and for the past 2 years have seen and harvested 4 of my biggest bucks to date. If I only hunted the days it says is perfect well let’s just say I wouldn’t have 4 nice bucks on my wall. Go when you have time and what your gut says verses some computer app that is taking your money

Great new features.. hoping for some updates. I wish the parcel information didn’t completely disappear when you zoom out, and I wish you could rotate the screen. Other than those two things I look forward to seeing how the features it does have workout this season

Awesome app!. I absolutely love this app but I do have some suggestions. When you are using the deer cast track I think it would be great if you were able to rotate the deer as if it was quartering away from or to you. But other than that I love this app. Highly recommend this to anyone. And I will continue to use this!!!

Can’t create an account. When I open the app and put in all my login in info to make an account I get an error message that appears at the top of the screen it says OOM command not allowed when used memory > ‘maxmemory.’ I had been previously using the app up until today when it asked me to create an account

Accurate forecast!. DeerCast is a great app! The predictive algorithms appear to be dead on. I decided to see how accurate it was today. Went out after work. Got to the stand at 6pm (sunset 6:45) in the 45 minutes I saw multiple does and a couple small bucks. I would have filled my doe tag if she had just moved 10 paces to the right!

Getting help was easy!. Michelle on the help line was awesome and easy to work with! As soon as I submitted a request for help Michelle got right back to me with the correct resolution. I did what she told me to do and the problem was fixed quickly and again very easy. Thanks Michelle for all your help!

One of The Best Hunting Apps Out There!. IMO, one of the BEST hunting Apps out there, and I have tried a lot of them. This app lets you tap in to deer hunting knowledge that has been learned by others over many years. The weather information is better and more detailed than most weather apps. All I can say is, Buy it, try it, I bet you will be glad you did.

Great App!. This app is great but it needs just one thing. They need to invert the barometer and the temperature. “When the pressure and the temperature meet bucks will be on their feet” so we need to need to see when the temperature drops and the pressure are coming together. If it remains the way it is you have pressure going up on top and the temperature going down on the bottom. Other than that I really like the app.

Thank you Drurys for creating an awesome app. It takes a lot of time and money to invest in creating an app, happy to pay the fee.

Increased sightings. I’ve used the app the last two years. I’ve hunted on days that were rated poor and says that we’re rated great. The DeerCast app was spot on. I still hunt when I can regardless of what the app says but I definitely have more confidence in seeing deer when the app says it’s going to be a good day!

Good. I think this is a good app because it tells you when a good time to hunt is and there are hunting videos that you can watch on the app and you can be watching hem then hit the home button and do something else on your phone while your watching the video

Spot on !. Have used DeerCast to determine best time / day / conditions since Bow season opened. Have seen more shooter / aged bucks in the 3 days hunted this season than in the past decades of early season Bow hunting. Has enabled my decision process which blind / stand to visit. Game changer for me ! Harvested my first bow harvest ever , could not be more satisfied.

Great potential but glitchy and crashes often. I’ve used this free app through this fall. This app is full of knowledge and I found it to fairly accurate for my location. But The app crashes more often than not when trying to watch the videos, which is where all the relevant info is. I’ll be hard pressed to pay for this app next year when it is no longer free with all the glitches and crashes that I’ve experienced this season.

Way too expensive. Used to be able to pay $10 a year, now the only option in the App Store is $50. Don’t show $9.99 in app if it’s not actually available. I expect much more from this team. Edit: Developer didn’t even read the whole review lol. I clearly state I can see the $9.99, it will not allow purchases through the app. False advertisement. Then they try to capitalize on you wanting it and thinking they’ll just get you for $50 instead.

Are you going to be successful this fall. DeerCast is a great weapon to have in your hands when season comes in it can save you time in stand but still have the same end result with you target in your hands thanks mark and terry for letting me in on the app

Great tool. Works well and is accurate. Use this daily to log all my information. Could use a feature to look back on past days though. If I’m out in the woods checking cameras during hunting season be great to see what that day was for information. Plus if I forget or get busy and miss my log I can’t see what that day said.

#1 app. I have had the app for a couple years. This year I decided to stick with it and pay for the app. In my opinion you can’t get a better app with the information alone that holds up to DeerCast. Having the weather and what the Drurys have put I to this is a tool that can add to every hunters advantage of harvesting a great animal. I would recommend this app to anyone.

I don’t hunt without this app!. I recommend the elite version of this app! It’s the best hunting app out there! With the elite version, not only do you get the 10 day DeerCast forecast that lets you know whether the hunting will be great, bad, or anywhere in between; but you also get a big library of old DoD full DVD’s.

If you are a serious hunter you NEED this app!. I really love this app. When I am looking for the best days to plan to hunt I always check the DeerCast first. I have recorded info for my hunts and my 13 trail cams to confirm When DeerCast says it going to be a great day, it is! Plus learn about the phases of the deer season and more.

CS. I think this app is very helpful in a lot of my deer hunting needs. I use several of the tools available on the app. My son who started hunting last year at age 7 loves to watch hunting videos and read stories about hunting. He probably likes the app more than I do(probably why my battery stays low haha). You guys are great and keep up the good work. GOD bless!!

Great App for Hunters. I have been using DeerCast for many years now and it has never let me down, also they consistently add new features and updates which keep the data up to date. Highly recommend!!

Good to help beginners. Last year was great because it was free. Now some of the features are only available if you pay. The overall accuracy of the deer cast is 50/50. Some days it is spot on for my location. Other days it is not close. The articles posted are full of information to help all hunters. Great if used as a free app but I would not pay for the additional features. Very good app for beginner hunters.

Best of the best!. I tried all the different hunting apps “won’t name names” and DeerCast is substantially ahead of the game. All the new updates like rain and wind checker are just the best and quite accurate. DeerCast didn’t shoot my big buck who is at taxidermist now but the info I received from DeerCast made it possible for me to kill that monster!! Thank you DeerCast!!

Don’t trust the deer forecast. The only good thing about this app is some of the content and only if you live in the Midwest. The deer forecast has been way off several times and honestly just wonder if it is guessing. Let’s take today for example. It says it’s a poor day to hunt, but today I’ve had deer moving and almost everyone saw some and two bucks hit the ground. I don’t think this app is worth it unless you are brand new to hunting and need some tips. Other then that follow your gut instinct not this app on when to hunt.

Try before you buy. This is a great concept and we definitely see differences in deer movement based on pressure and other factors. Before purchasing the app to get more days in the outlook, I recommend watching how the free short term prediction matches actual activity in the woods. It hasn’t been accurate for me. However, I like the concept and hope they continue to make improvements for better accuracy in the future.

Amazing…Except. I love everything about this app I just wish you could get different weather it’s Nov 4 and deer cast says OK primarily bc cloud cover says 75% but it’s nothing but blue skies and sunshine and this is like the 100th time this has happened and it just makes it inaccurate. Weather Underground is the best weather forecast it’s always spot on including right now. If at all possible please get different weather feeds.

Great information. Used the DeerCast for times of better deer movement and weather information especially before and after fronts. Made it easier to plan hunts an kept me motivated to be in the woods. I was able to take a 144” 8 pt this season. Also really like fan share. Nice to see other hunters being successful. I think this promotes mutual respect amongst all hunters and our sport. 👍👍

Useless application. Gone my entire life reading weather and deer patterns on my own. And I’ve been accurate. Every time this application said “poor” morning and evening. I saw more deer then what this lead me to believe. Notice temperature changes. Play the wind and most of all put your time in. And you will be successful. Don’t waste your time or money on this. Don’t support a team that was apart of the largest poaching outfit in Nebraska history. Oh and if you think I’m wrong, when it said “poor” on Saturday morning. I ended that morning sit dragging out a monster 11 point

Very Effective Tool. I couldn’t be more pleased with this tool as seems to always provide the right guidance with your hunting adventures. Plus, the app has many more tools all combined in one tool. It’s great to see DeerCast strive for continuous improvement as it’s already a 5 star rating!

Not great, but better than ok. 2 things I’d love to see change that are minor: 1. Add a daggone dark mode for checking this thing in the stand without lighting up the whole woods 2. Stop shutting off other audio that’s playing when it’s opened. Sometimes I want to check the app while doing other things simultaneously

RodMan. Great App. Very informative and pretty much on the money as far as accurate information. I highly recommend that any hunter regardless of how long you have been hunting to check it out. Very impressed on the amount of good and helpful information available with the app.

Good looking app. It’s new and deer season is a month away here in Tennessee. I will put it to use this year and make sure to keep notes about how accurate it is. I also make a trip to Ohio every year to hunt the rut and will see if it does just as good in other locations. I will come back and update in January of 2019 after season is over. Giving a 4 star now based on what I have seen so far.

Awesome weather app. This app makes it easy to see all of the different weathers that a deer hunter needs to look at. The only thing that could be better is if it would show the weather on days past. Looking through trail cam pictures and trying to remember what the past weather was is difficult to do without writing it down.

Can’t pay. I’ve had this app for few years love it. But I can’t figure out how to pay for the pro the 9.99 version. It refers me to apple. From there nothing just round and round. I should be able to pay from DeerCast app

Great app from Drury Team! Experts at their craft. This app gives you a great algorithm. Most apps like this give you info based off the moon phases only or from the farmers almanac. This combines all of them plus live weather factors to help determine your best times to hit the woods. If your more than just a weekend warrior you know weather has more to do with deer movement than anything else. This app is fantastic!

Lots of “background noise”. It would be great to have an option to display the Deercast results about 3X larger than what they are, and turn off all the videos, social updates, and subtle Drury advertisements. Maybe you can, but I haven't found how. It’s like watching Fox News during a MyPillow ad with an news alert banner scrolling at the bottom.; You tuned in to see the news, but your getting mostly noise.

Best Hunting App… Period.. This app, especially now after the new added features, is the be all end all for hunting apps. The average person can operate it as easy as any other app on their phone and you can do so much because of all the added tools that it makes it well worth the money!!! Thanks DOD!!!

Guess I put to much trust in this app. Some days right on but some days way off. I have 15 cameras on three different properties and they’re all quiet today but the app says great all day. Told my buddies to be in the woods today and I’m definitely hearing about this one. Me and my son took today off and hunted all day😢we had two days over the weekend that said poor and at least had some bucks cruising

Updating to best app version. I love the app really helps out a lot when it come to choosing which area to hunt and when to hunt it. My only issue is it will not let me update the app to elite which I would like to have for the deer cast track. Great app/tool chasing white tails.

Great App. DeerCast is well worth the small investment. I have used it since it first came out and then payed for the upgrade - so that I could use the shot tracker. I hit a BIG PA buck a little back (he was quartering too me) and I used DearCast to evaluate the shot. After reviewing the suggestions on DeerCast, we backed out and waited the suggested 13 hours (or overnight). We found my 152” 10-point laying dead the next morning. Great App!!!

Dont Deer Hunt Without It!!!. Have had this app since it started. As a dedicated deer hunter, i can’t think of another tool that has been as critical as deercast. Would not have been as sucessfull the last 3 years with out it! In 3 years, I have taken 9 bucks over 100” in 3 different States. A amazing tool for Deer Hunters!!!

Not just a tool...an education!. Not only is the deer movement predictor spot on, DeerCast teaches you why deer move when they do, making you a better and more educated hunter! Really, it’s like three apps in one. You get the movement predictor, the DeerCast Track recovery tool, plus hundreds of videos and articles!

Don’t bet the farm on it. I’ve had this app on my phone for well over a year now. Every chance I get to hunt I take it regardless of what this app says but I do look at it to keep track of data for myself. My findings so far, it is hardly ever right. Tonight for example says it’s a Great night for deer movement. Well I’ve seen 1 deer now but a week ok on a night that was Poor I saw 13 with shots on multiple does had I had the time to harvest one and take care of her in the heat (this was a scouting/observation sit primarily). It may work for some but I have not seen any evidence that gives me faith in the app or their predictions.
