Amazing!!!!. I could spend hours on this app!! I love how you can choose different backgrounds and stickers to put on your picture. Another thing is that the stickers aren’t lame like other ones they have a lot of life to them! Also I draw every single day so this app helps get creative and help me with what I want to draw! I just wanna day to the creators of this app Thank you😀. At times like this because we have to stay home and like we have nothing to do I just get my iPad and start drawing. Thank you so much for making this app!

If you are paying it leaves something to be desired. As a free app this is great. There is actually decent content and the fact there is no watermark or ads is wonderful. However I recently decided to pay for the app so I could use it to make graphics and there is a lot to be desired. The navigation is not super clean, there are sometimes glitches, etc. There’s no way to restore purchases, so since I got the paid version on my iPad i can’t seem to access any of that content on my phone. The one thing that I think i wish this app had the most is the ability to save and re-edit my designs. So for example, if I am making multiple graphics and need to change one thing on each one, I can’t go back in and re-edit a design. A lot of other similar platforms (even free ones) for graphic design have this capability so I’m wondering why this one doesn’t. Overall though I like the text fonts, and preloaded drawings/images, and since I am not artistic and can’t doodle things like that on my own this is very helpful. I hope they will update and add the feature of re-editing files (even if it is just for premium users) so that this is a more robust graphic design platform.

Amazing. Incredible.. This app is completely amazing. If I could rate it more stars, I would! I have not had it that long, and I literally can’t get off it! I have always been into design and this is a great starting app for me. You can make amazing things with pictures you have, and the effects and backgrounds and colors are just incredible. They must’ve worked so hard on this. And you don’t just have to use pictures from your device, you can have a AMAZING background and then add an inspirational quote or something like a flower. This has made my life in quarantine so much brighter. Thank you sooo much! ❤️

Easy Approach/Wish MORE Stickers. I love this app. I use it mostly for “free styling” posters, post, etc. for my Poshmark and other social media pages. I love the easy approach it definitely does not take a rocket scientist to figure this app out...ALSO LOVE THE COLORS. It has the “retro” color vibe. Only downfall is I DO WISH there were more sticker/accessories to chose from. The different fonts includes a ton of different choices, wish you would include more for phrases/tape/fall/etc. Which is the only reason for the 4 stars, and the app stops and closes when I was downloading more than one thing at the beginning during setup!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Great app! Occasional Bugs. I love this app and have used it for many years. It’s the only app I’ve ever used to personalize pictures and I’ve found that it offers everything I need (fonts, shapes, stickers, any color/pattern you could imagine!). I have experienced some issues with the app crashing, unfortunately. For instance, trying to adjust the font color to a glitter color keeps crashing the app for me. Hope this gets fixed soon. :)

I like it. I think A Color Story is really on top of the Instagram feed goal thing. Their filters are really cool. This sidekick of an app is really a great little addition to their apps. A Color Story has a good eye on trend forecasting with their party of apps. One thing though, I wish it wasn't directly targeting a female audience. The stickers are not really usable because I am a guy but I like the backgrounds. The silver and gold backgrounds are my favorite. Guys like color and if you made some filters and stickers geared at guys, I would love your apps. Still a great suite. I have Been using your paint splashed stickers and metallic backgrounds like crazy. Come out with a set of filters for guys. I'll be the creative director if you want.....lol

I truly love this app. This app is stunningly user friendly. I have been trying to create content for a new business I am running and this app has been indispensable. I would like room for a little more personalisation of the designs, but I really don’t want to nitpick as I haven’t yet truly explored the app for all it’s worth. I think a novice editor will find this fun and breezy and I think an experienced one would find amazing ways to use all that it has to offer.

Great until it’s not. I love everything that I can do with this app But why oh why is there no auto save feature!!! I have several times been nearly done with something and the app crashes and all the work is Gone!! Now I’ve spent too much money on I app purchases to just delete and move on🤦🏼‍♀️ Please upgrade this app so it has auto save! Please! Laura

Awesome features but keeps shutting down on me. Hi! I want to preface this by saying that I love all your apps and use A Color Story all the time with no issues! I also love this app- amazing fonts, stickers, backgrounds, etc! I just did the three day trial for all the extra features, however, and decided to cancel my subscription before I got charged. I was sad about this but the whole program shut down on my several times, causing me to loose all my work each time. Very frustrating. I would definitely be willing to pay for the extra features if the glitches were worked out!

Modern design touches. Awesome time saver, and well priced. I love the selection of fonts, textures, stickers, etc. It’s super fun to be able to make fresh, modern looking graphics on the fly. I use this mainly for my work as a marketing manager for a small business; I also use Canva quite extensively. This doesn’t replace Canva, but I do like it better for doing things on the fly. I would love to see a desktop/browser version (sometimes it’s nice to be able to make things on a *real* computer), and also the ability to upload a logo to brand your creations (right now I still have to use the Canva app to do add a logo). Otherwise, love it!

I’m not sure about this.. Tbh I don’t think this should be a separate app from A Color Story. The toggling back and forth is bad. I like this app but never use it because I mostly use text on photos for Instagram stories and this is too cumbersome to open just for stories. Especially since IG stories has several different fonts and backgrounds now. The fonts and backgrounds in A Design Kit are better but i honestly don’t feel like switching over apps from IG to A Design Kit so I mostly skip it. Also, the cropping for IG stories is wrong. It doesn’t work. It looks right on the front page of the app and then when you click through to actually add text, it is the wrong size for a story. If I put text too close to the edges it doesn’t show up on IG stories unless I resize the photo to only take up a small portion of the page. Basically it crops too short and wide for IG stories, at least on an iPhone 7+. I also think there should be way more background and font options.

Solid app with a few issues. I really enjoy this app. Fun graphics and easy to customize. I’d like it move if there were more options. If users could make or import their own graphics that would be great. The number one way to improve this app would be to fix the constant crashing. I’ve never gotten all the way through without it crashing at least once so I’ve taken to saving separate images consistently to avoid losing all my work.

A+ Well Designed App. I love this app. Now you can edit photos in A Color Story to take advantage of some fantastic filters and tools (curves, exposure, and all the normal stuff like brightness and contrast), then move the image to A Design Kit to add text. Even better, you can add a colorful splotch of paint in a solid color or a WIDE array of marbled options, AND you can do the text/backgrounds in any order because you have the option to move layers backward - which has always been a big frustration of mine on phone vs computer. In short, the design team nailed this release.

App Crashing + No Option to Save. I feel like Im being punished for liking this app too much at the beginning. I LOVED the app at first so quickly after I started using it I went ahead and purchased the year subscription. Since then, the app has crashed on me over and over and over again. This made me quickly realize there is NO way to save what you are working on. So if the app crashes, or you accidentally close it or even if you want to work on something else and come back to what youre working on later, you cant. This seems like such a basic feature especially for an app I just paid a $24 subscription for. Really unhappy with my purchase :(

Best app for text on photos I’ve found. I’ve been looking for a good app to put text on photos for a long time. This one is aesthetically pleasing, clean, and offers everything I was looking for: not only can I write on my photos with text, but I can also draw and add designs and stickers. The only disappointing thing so far is that the font choice is pretty limited unless you go pro, but that’s not a huge deal considering that the rest of the app is very satisfying.

Amazing app. I only wish you guys can make like general bigger packages to purchase. Not one by one items. Other than that one think I really would love as an addition - of the tiles can keep the text with them if moved/slide around. In other words now if I slide around the tiles, they lose the text content. I was taken aback by that. Also, please add #saving gallery. Other than that - I love your app

Design Kit. Love it. It’s not Photoshop, but that’s kind of the point. Level of difficulty is easy and intuitive. Wonderful App for graphic design novices. As an experienced Photoshop user, this App is the “Missing Piece”. I have wanted on occasion to embellish photos of grandchildren, special occasions.....But pics just sit in Photos without me ever getting around to transferring to laptop or desktop, open a Photoshop page, etc...... Overkill for a quick “memory” picture. Wow! With Design Kit, I can easily scroll through my pictures or go to an Album. You get a full page of your Photos, not a tiny window. Choose the pic and embellish away! I was surprised at the amount and quality of the features you get with the Basic Package. After I had used it a while, I spent $2.00 on brushes and access to simple, basic Designer creations. Worth it. I am now using it to make quick design sketches on an image I’ve taken a screenshot of that has ideas for for my home design. No more scribbling notes all over the picture to remember my ideas. I just create my ideas immediately on the screenshot image. *Get it. -Makes sharing memories a lot more fun. -Gives me super easy, immediate accessibility to create design ideas on the fly. *Not expensive at all, for what this App does. Best. App. Ever.. I don’t usually review apps but this one is just too good to not review. The options you have are beyond amazing for what it is meant to do. There isn’t any annoying ads and unlike many other apps, it doesn’t give you an annoying watermark, even if you don’t have the pro version. Also in comparison, while I’ve noticed a lot of other apps give you VERY limited options on what you can do without their pro version, this app seems very fair and balanced and gives quite the amount of options for a free app. And if you decide to buy the pro version, it’s not outrageously priced and very affordable. Overall, I cannot stop gushing about this app and it’s very rare that I feel the developers of an app are putting thought and care into what they are producing and their consumers’ opinions, but this app blows that out of the water. Anyways, it is a great app and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about downloading it. Not only does it do what it’s made to do, but goes above and beyond.

Love this app!. I just discovered this app and I love using it now! One thing that would be super helpful for editing would be if you could have an album with photos that have been uploaded within the app and have the option to be able to edit and modify them at any time. I create a lot of flyers so being able to just duplicate one and be able to change colors, fonts and other small things would be really useful! One thing I really love about this app too is that I can align things perfectly!

Asking for a refund. This app has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. I really love it. I run social media accounts for a few business and this app has all kinds of tools for making really great story posts but it crashes ALL. THE. TIME. And there's no save. There's no opening the app and picking up where you left off. I'll spend 15-20 minutes putting together an infographic and right before I save it will crash. I used to use this app more and finally unsubscribed. It wasn't worth $5 a month if I couldn't get through a single project without a crash. I ended up resubscribing because a few months had gone by and I hoped it would be fixed. Crashed within 10 minutes and the first project I was working on is now gone. I really do love this app. PLEASE FIX THIS!

So far so good!. I just downloaded The Design Kit an hour ago and have already made numerous marketing materials for my photography business’ social pages. The fonts are beautiful and plentiful. The design of the app makes it really easy to use...and quick. I’ve been using the A Color Story app for two years and I’ve loved it immensely so it was a no brainer to try out their design kit. Especially since Insta Stories are where it’s at now. Makes it easy to design your own sleek edits for the stories. It even has a crop option for the stories. I’d say my $1.99 investment in this app is already paying off.

Love this app other than two major setbacks.. I love this app SO so so much. BUT it won’t let me save my files/artwork so I can go back in to work on them or edit them later. That means if I made a typo, and I’ve already closed the app, I have to redo from start to finish. Not cool. Also it crashes if I open/close the app more than a few times. The last thing that I don’t like is there isn’t an option to add another photo to your current design, like a collage. I have to save the artwork, open a different app, add my photo, and then go back to A Design Kit. But again it’s my favorite design app, all the stickers and collage capabilities are really really fun. I hope they fix these issues!!

So Great, But Keeps Crashing!!. This app is so great for designing and being creative and spicing up my normal insta posts on the media account that I run. But recently when using the app I’ll be in the middle of creating and then it just crashes which is extremely frustrating. I’ve downloaded and reloaded the app several times and I still having the same problem. I really just want to finish a design without the app crashing. Can there please be an update to fix these issues soon??

Great tool; a couple weird functional issues. Overall this fills a gap for me in photo editing. I had been using Moca Deco before, but this has much better functionality, especially with the brushes. Docking a star because of some functional issues. The back and forth between A Color Story is not seamless — I’ve lost edits a couple times. The other main irritant is that resizing text requires you to enter a live text box which for some reason is taken out of the position you’ve placed it in the photo. This makes for an annoying guessing game followed by trial and error to determine correct sizing if you’re trying to fit text in a specific place.

A Designed Life 💗. I love this app! It’s easy to use, and you can create all kinds of creative and colorful designs quickly and painlessly. I love all the color palettes, especially the color ombrés and the pastels. I’ve been able to make all kinds of super stylish images fliers and pages for all sorts of things in both my personal and professional life. there are plenty of free features, but the extras are affordable and I’ve found to be worthwhile. I’d heavily recommend this app as well the Color Story app to anyone, i use them both so much every day I don’t remember what life was like without it now, hehe! Looking forward to any more future apps, I’d download in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Would’ve given 5 but you can’t zoom. I love this app. It is my go to now when it comes to editing pictures. I love all the fun brushes and all the different things you can do with the stickers. It’s fun and trendy and it keeps my feed exciting. THE ONLY REASON I AM NOT GIVING THIS APP 5 STARS IS FOR ONE MAIN REASON. I can’t zoom on my picture so if I’m trying to use the brush tool to do some outlines or any fun trendy things with the brushes it never looks good because I can’t zoom. It would be that much better if I could. That’s right the zoom feature is worth 3 stars in my opinion. It shouldn’t be hard for developers to add. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU ARE READING THIS PLEASE ADD THE ZOOM. I NEED IT. my photos need it. MY OUTLINES NEED IT

really happy with this app. this app is SO easy to use and it’s great that you still get good stickers and fonts without having to pay extra. i definitely recommend this app for design uses. the only thing i wish they would add is the ability to add a photo onto the canvas without having to make it a background. it can be annoying when you can only add the stickers so i have to transfer it to another app to be able to add photos. overall, i love this app, i only wish they could add this feature.

Excellent. Great app with plenty of fonts, background patterns (specifically ombré with a few marbles and gemstones) plus lots of stickers. Overall a lot of fun to play around with. Definitely worth the free download, and I’ve even made a few in-app purchases for different fonts and stickers (which is definitely rare for me if that tells you anything.) Certainly recommend!

I wish it would be free🥲. So when I first got the app I thought that it would be cool to edit some of my photos so I downloaded the app everything was ok and work great but when I saw that you have to pay like 2 Bucks for like a font or a sticker or stuff for a collage witch is kinda crazy just to have stuff to edit with it should be free because 2 bucks can sometimes be a lot of money for some people who don’t have the money to buy the extra stuff to edit with. On the bright side I definitely recommend the app if you want to spend MONEY just for small things in the app.

Pretty neat. It’s a pretty neat app. I downloaded it because I needed to make a quick collage to put in my Christmas cards this year. I love the options and I was able to come up with a couple different options. I didn’t have to buy a sticker package because I do without it but did anyway because the options were cute. This app is definitely something I will continue to use.

Great app!! but.... I love this app!! I have been having issues while making a project and the app will just randomly close and I lose all of my work :( . I’m not sure if it is something wrong with my phone or if it is a bug that needs fixed in the app. I would love if the app had an option to save as you go and be able to re open projects to go back and change things or continue working on it at a different time. Otherwise I love the app and all it has to offer!! :)

Love the apps-have a suggestion. I absolutely love A Design Kit, ACS, Filmm, and Template. As a someone in the beauty industry who uses social media constantly all these apps make my life sooo much easier. I have a background in graphic design but I do not have time to make my own art for my social media feed. So, I love that I have so many options and I can get really creative with my posts and stories— quickly and efficiently. When you use all these apps together it’s 🔥 🔥🔥 I would like to be able to go back to my design, after saving it, and edit it, though. I do, also, a have a suggestion about the elements too. While I get that the style reflects the designers and appeals to the masses I would love to see more “dark” elements. 🖤💀🥀 For those of us who are not so colorful.😊 Also, like myself, I know many lash artists, hair stylist, and nail techs who use apps like these. A bundle with salon elements may go over well. Just a suggestion. I love the the apps and thank you for making them!!

Best app purchase of 2018. Yet again Elsie + Emma are on top of their app game! Fun, colorful, + quirky describes this beautiful app. Beautify your photos with a ton of free options which I LOVE because so many photo apps promote lots of stickers and design tools only to find that you have to purchase all of them. Although, I do think the in app purchase packs in this app are worth every cent! It’s an an affordable photo editing tool that I highly recommend 💯 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

🌸🌈✨. As a social media manager and lifelong visual artist, I love having this in my pocket as a way to make high quality graphics anytime, anywhere. I’ve been consistently impressed with each update bringing new + useful tools to the app. This would be the only app I’d need for making images on my phone if it brought in a stretch/ skew ability and the option to import other files from the device as layers or as object colorfill. I use this app constantly!

Amazing, but needs a few simple improvements. THANK YOU FOR THIS! was searching for a way to may my stories more visually pleasing. Loving this app so far. One issue/improvement to make, it’s hard to rotate shapes/stickers etc. it looks like there’s a button to rotate them 90degrees when you change the color of a shape, but it doesn’t work. I’m having to do it manually, and it’s hard to get them to perfectly rotate. Thanks!

Was excited. the anticipation for this app by ColorStory was hyped up just for it to be lack luster ..and in usual fashion it’s yet another app that they have created and abandoned .. no real updates in over a year while they focus on a color story, templates and even introduced yet another app called pink papaya… Save your money and just use the unpaid version it’s not worth a monthly or yearly subscription they don’t pay enough attention to it . It had potential but they have really slacked off nothing new in over a year of development while the other apps get regular ones .. Maybe in the next year or so it will either be gone from the app store or a update will roll out

The fun that was missing from design apps!. The A Beautiful Mess team did it again! Ever since they launched A Color Story, I’ve mostly abandoned my other photo editing apps. I’m so excited to now have a design app from the same creatives. So far it’s chock full of fun features and easy to navigate. The design itself is so cute. Can’t wait to see what kind of add-on packs will be released in the future too!

Even the free version is great!. The UI/UX is pretty, fun, and easy to use. I only use the free version, but it’s a fun way to add stickers and text to photos or collage my pics before sharing with friends. I remember seeing a deal for packages pop up at one point and will buy it next time I see it. Thanks, devs, for allowing use of so many features for free!

A Good App, Too Many Crashes. I've been using this app since it came out, across several generations of phones. I love the functionality and the options (there are AO many options), and it's easy to use but the one thing that has never been corrected is that it crashes unpredictably. Sometimes it's after one or two edits, sometimes it's after a ton of edits. It has fully shut down my phone (several generations, not just one) before and this happens 8/10 of the time. The last time I used this app (yesterday) it crashed my phone entirely and when I got my phone to restart I had to uninstall and reinstall this app and the music app I had open at the time in order to get either of them to work again. Again, love this app, love the overall functionality, and there's a reason I've kept it on my phone for so long, but the crashes are very frustrating.

On the fence.... Tbh, I went back and forth when it came to downloading this app. I’m kind of a sucker for A Beautiful Mess, and I wanted to see how this app looked and worked. For someone like me (occasionally adds to photos, not a blogger or influencer, doesn’t add a ton of photos very often), this is not really necessary and I wouldn’t mind getting my money back. That being said, it’s not awful by any means. I definitely get the same vibe from Design Kit as I do from their other apps. There’s a good number of fun stickers and different types of brushes and designs. Being able to integrate the other app is cool too. I would have liked if some of the tools were more easily accessed. It just seems a bit cumbersome.

so fast!!!. I love how quick it is to layer on text & brush elements! way faster than photoshop! it’s user friendly & has so many great pre-made brushes/ombre colored paints!!! the only thing I wish I could do was insert a photo over top of a background - I wanted to fit my photo on the ‘insta story’ background, but that’s not an option! i use over for that right now, but would have loved to do it all in one app! maybe next update! thanks!! excited to keep using it!

So much promise!. This is a great design app. The packs and themes are beautiful and I love what they have. I don’t want to talk about the design aspects because in my opinion, they are flawless. The technical issues are really annoying. The app crashes in the middle of complicated projects with several layers. Recently once I have finished a design it will not allow me to save the finished project that isn’t horribly blurry. I have had to screenshot and then crop my originals down. The layers feature does not always work. I have had to find ways around to layer pieces the way I would like them. Sometimes elements in the collage feature do not respond. They either zoom in too far or will not allow any movement out. Originally I thought the issue was caused by my old iPhone, which I had not updated for a long time. I just bought the brand new iPhone SE (which I love, btw) and the app has still given me the same issues on this phone as well. I’m giving the app three stars because it is really beautiful and has great potential. If it wasn’t as pretty I’d have to give it two stars.

It has its pros and cons. I bought the full package so I could access everything, and I love all of the fonts, stickers, etc that they offer (especially since I’m not great at making my own doodles), but there are some definite cons to the app that are starting to get annoying considering I paid for it. It frequently crashes in the middle of projects so then I have to completely start over, which is frustrating. I also wish I had the ability to save projects within the app. Another cool feature to have would be the ability to add my own photos to the backgrounds within the app. If you use any of their backgrounds, the only thing you can do with it is put text on it or any of their stickers.

Great fun for almost reasonable price. Simple to use, pretty user friendly. It took me a few times but I’m making the most gorgeous things with it. For anyone who wants an easy way to creative their own internet art I’d consider the cost fair. However if you’re that interested you most likely already have drawing and photo editing apps you’re happy with that work as well or better and would not spend the money.

Awesome Start!. I love A Design Kit! I think you guys really nailed what you were trying to do with A Beautiful Mess app back in the day, and in a time when people are ready for it! The brush design color options are super cool, I love the backgrounds option, and the story crop size really nailed it! Just what I’ve been looking for to really take the stories function on instagram to another level. I also love the back and forth functionality with A Color Story! It could be a little smoother but it’s worked fine for me so far, just have to be a little patient. I do think it would be very cool if you could save your drawing as a sticker for future use, kind of like the filter save function on A Color Story, but like I said overall this is an awesome addition to my photo editing app collection! Thanks! Update: thank you for listening to your users and adding so many useful updates! I especially love the duplication button!!!

I’m impressed by the app. I love the first app that ABM created, A Color Story. I love that you can move between the two apps and I love the range of brushes. The app provides a lot of features such as the wide variety of brushes, text fonts, backgrounds, stickers and designs to embellish your photos. I am very happy with my purchase. The app offers additional items to purchase for .99 but you most definitely create an amazing photo with what’s there.

Glitchy & is not honoring my purchase. This app is something that I really was excited to use because it seemed to have really cool features and was perfect for what I was trying to do, and I even decided to pay some money for some of the extra features because I planned on using it for awhile. Although upon using it, it continuously started kicking me out of the app, and when I would click back on all my progress would be gone. I tried again and again for almost two days until now to get something finished before it would kick me out and eventually tried to delete and redone load the app so that maybe I would work. This only managed to delete whatever access it had let me have to to features I had bought and apparently isn’t going to let me use what I paid for. This is sooo not okay with me clearly and if there is not a way to use these features that I paid for again then I need my money back.

Fantastic app, so wonderful for poems!. I just found this app on the App Store and took a chance on it after reading so many glowing reviews, and now I understand why there are so many phenomenal reviews: This app is an absolute winner!!! It worked so well for framing a poem I wrote for my love! And as other reviewers indicated, the $4.99 in-app purchase was well worth the money, as it gave me more fonts, and it was so nice being able to insert a red rose sticker at the bottom of my poem. Although I could not find any instructions in the app, it didn’t take me long to figure out how to use it, although some instructions would have been helpful (it’s still a 5 🌟 app, even without the instructions).

Love it! But I’d like to see some updates.. I love how much there is to do and create with this app! (Plus, who doesn’t love Emma and Elsie?) But I’ve noticed some bugs in my most recent use. When adding a sticker, collage, etc., the menu will reset to the main menu once you click off of whatever piece you just added. For example, I was adding some of the stars from the collage pack. Each time I added a star and clicked out of the box on the photo, it took me back to the main menu instead of staying in the star pack so I could add different ones. I hope that makes sense. This is a pretty annoying - and time-consuming while creating - bug that I hope gets worked out. Also, when scrolling through the brushes on the top of the screen, it won’t scroll all the way to the last brush even when I select it. So I can’t tell which brush I’ve selected! I love this app and have paid for the yearly subscription and I want to see it become a bit more user friendly. 💛

Will crash in the middle of your work.. MAJOR CRASHING. This is was amazing app I loved it so much and it really sparked my creativity. I pay for the yearly subscription and use is often. This app crashes in the middle of a work and it is SO IRRITATING that it hasn’t been fixed. One glitch still happening is that the solid colors show up as the metallic colors next to them and I have to swipe back and forth to get them to show up. But the CRASHES... This app on iPad AND mobile crashes in the middle of my work every time I use it. I have to be careful to keep saving as I go and just wish it would work right the first time. Update I wrote this review several months ago and came back here bc these issues have still not been fixed. It’s is September 2020. Fix these issues and PLEASE FIX THE CRASHES. It crashes every single time halfway through my work on my phone now!! No one cares about new features if the app is unusable in the first place. Latest updates. I do love this app but the latest updates are difficult to navigate and The app has crashed on me several times recently just when I had almost finished editing:( Also the arrows in the top corner do not seem to function properly and it takes many attempts to move to the next step. It used to work perfectly before the recent updates.

Poor relation to ABM. Very disappointed that ABM is no longer available. This replacement is nowhere near as easy to use with very few features I would want use. Anything more than really basic things you have to pay for. Not happy and am trying find another option

But lately I’ll start building and when I’m half way through the whole app shuts down and all my work is gone. It’s happened multiple time’s, which is very frustrating :(

Over rated. Look it’s aesthetics are cute. But what you pay for the annual subscription there are basically NO updates. I think it’s updated a couple times in 12 months. It also crashes almost every single time I’m using it so if you don’t take screenshots / save your progress every 2 mins then everything you’ve created is gone. It’s happened a hundred times in the past year. My subscription is ending next month and I 10000% will not be renewing. Don’t waste your time or money with this app.

It’s okay. The constant push for more products to buy has been a bit off putting even if I end up buying some of the packages, I always get interrupted mid designing for marketing. I almost wish they just charge a flat fee and included it all.

I love this app. This app is so easy to use. It's fast, doesn't crash and it has super cute features. I love the different texts and textures as well as the most beautiful stickers. Most of them are free...just a few packages that you have to pay but they're very affordable.

Needs “save project” feature. I love this app, but because I find that it can crash pretty often for me (and I keep it updated), there should be a “save as you go” type of feature. I can spend 10 minutes playing with a photo and perfecting it all to have it completely wiped out when the app crashes and I have to start over.

Love it except one thing!. This app is great and has great selections. I can make beautiful graphics BUT I wish I could save them! Like if I could create a watermark to quickly add to multiple photos. Also wish I could change out the photo after creating graphics on top. But over all I like the large selection in the paid version.

Design Kit. I personally love this app! I want to be a photographer. I love taking pictures of things that speak to me. With this app, I’m able to add different things that I feel are needed and give it more of a realistic touch. You should all download it and try it now!

Glitchy. There are a lot of things I love about this app, I've been with it several years. I mainly love the collage aspect, though I wish there were more frequent updates and choices. Instead of yearly, monthly maybe? Also, I have never used an app that crashes out as often as this one. I will be mid project and it will crash and close and it doesn't save, so that's very problematic. I have learned to save onto my phone along the way to make up for this, but it's a total pain. It also frequently freezes when you start looking for pics in your albums. Just about ready to let it go and find a new one.

No shock here - love the product.. I mean in my mind Elsie and Emma can do no wrong, they are incredible business women who I respect so much. But this product is just another extension of how they empower people to use creativity to make our every day lives more fun. Perfect app for design anywhere. I love that this app allows you design from anywhere. It’s quick and easy and makes design more accessible for everyone. It’s great for small business owners to make their own graphics. I love the gradient colors with type option. It’s so much fun to experiment.

Fun & Quick Graphics. Fun for personal use, easy to buy a small pack of fonts or stickers for a dollar or two if you want, which I prefer to the subscription option from Over. Not as powerful of an app, but on-trend and has a good amount of free content!

I was hesitant. I was hesitant to spend money on this.. there are so many apps like this on the market but I needed to make cute title pages for a project and decided to try it out, and I’m so glad I did. Not cheesy like I was expecting, all the stickers are so adorable! Extremely user friendly as well. My favorite thing is the colors/gradients. Give me marble for all my text!

I use this app for everything!. I love this app. I make custom pictures which I get printed into invites, edit pics of my kid, and of course add words etc to make fun Instagram pictures. I use this app with a Color Story and it just seems really easy to do. My only complaint is that I can't figure out if you can zoom in on the photo when drawing on it.

Love it!. I love this app. Easy to use. Great fonts, colors and image options. Would love to have more kit options to buy. I would pay for a pro version that allows a draft mode or something that allows you to come back and update an image later. Also an image size option would be great.

User-friendly!. I’ve always been envious of my peers’ ability to whip up beautiful creations in photoshop or illustrator since I’ve never been very tech-savvy myself. With this app, I can easily put together adorable, quality designs without feeling like I’m way over my head. LOVE.

Love the app but!. I just wish you had a transparent background option. I really like being able to design seamless logos & I can’t really do that with no transparency feature. I’m stuck using a white background to accommodate the text.

Something is Going On With this App. I love this app, it is my absolute go to for adding text to photos but it is suddenly not working for me. I can’t change the font color and when I add text and go to the final review stage, the text is blurry and it saves blurry to my phone. I updated the app, then uninstalled and reinstalled (losing all of my paid fonts) and rebooted my phone and still having this issue. Unless this is corrected in an update the app is useless.

ALL TIME FAVE!. This app times out when I try to use new features and I lose all of my work! Please fix it because I would love to continue using this app and using all of the new collage and design features you lovely people come up with!

Options Options Options. Design Kit has so many options that it took me a while to find that I even needed to purchase the in app offers. My projects needed further options but if I was just using this app for social media posts, the free version does the job. Easy to navigate as well, for any not so app savvy people.

It’s pretty good. I love this app ! Don’t get me wrong it sure it amazing , but I feel like the creators need to understand that not a lot of people spend money on apps and there amazing upgrades and I’m one of those people that don’t spend money in apps , so I use all the the free stickers , fonts , shapes everything and I think they should at least give a little more free things on app , but over all amazing 😉

Great photo editing and creation app. Looking at all the apps on the app store this one right here has a great free version. They also have a more advanced pro version thats well worth the money. If you like creating this is for you! One notice it does crash if you are using it for to long 🙃

Purchased modern text. Purchased in app text and it isn’t available to me. When trying to purchase again, app says it’s already available to me because of previous purchase. Can you either refund the 1.99 or make the text available to me??

💋 I love it!!!. This app is amazing I totally recommend it for its amazing ness! I mean, if you want to buy stuff, okay you do that! But if you don’t want to there are still plenty of choices! That’s the balance I look for in apps! I hope this product is never bad and people always keep using it!!!!!

Decent but probably gonna delete. I love the quality and look of images in the collage section, especially the insects, flora and earth sections, but I wish there were larger image libraries to choose from. After a while you get bored of the same images. I also wish you could mirror the collage elements and add more than one photo from your library to the image.

Easy to use, great results. ADK is my go-to for creating unique and fun insta stories. I LOVE the new collage feature! It’s definitely worth purchasing the subscription to get all the features - if you’re a creative spirit and like to spice up your photos or if you’re doing some brand work and need eye-catching stories!

Not creative enough to use this. I’m a very creative person but this app surprisingly just didn’t click for me. I can’t edit my photos in meaningful or beautiful ways anything close to the creators’ examples. I appreciate the app, I just don’t have the knack for it. It also was very buggy on my end...it would crash multiple times right before I finally thought I was “getting somewhere” creativity-wise with a photo, then the app would crash and I’d lose my entire creation I was stumbling to create.

Great little app. This is great for every day use. I like the features it has for free and the options it comes with that you can purchase as well. I’d love to see more variety in the stickers. I like to make my own little images with sayings and stickers.

LOVE. It’s so fun! I only have the general. Yet there’s still so much possibility with creating awesome art! I’ve completely transformed my pictures with little signatures and art here and there and honestly I’m so obsessed! Will most likely be getting the pro version because I WANT IT ALL. Wonderful blending filters. I am a professional photographer and artist and I love this app for fine tuning my photography. Such unique filters and so easy. I wish there were more brushes to choose from and certainly, I wish I could buy everything.

Easy to use, fun & funky!. Love all the font options and included styles for backgrounds and shape stamps, easy to get the hang of using the tools. Great that it’s integrated with A Color Story and auto saves between apps. Some of the in-app purchase choices aren’t quite worth the cost, but a flash sale would encourage me to buy them.

Useful & Efficient. This makes all the little touches you need to make before posting so simple. It has all that you need without being overwhelming, and it is so easy to use with A Color Story and Instagram to make keeping up with your social media posts really manageable. I LOVE it!

Finally able to make a custom wallpaper. This app doesn’t crash all the time and has some great designs and advanced features. I’ve been waiting for this for years! UPDATE: I’ve had it for over a year now. Still the most functional and fun wallpaper app I’ve come across so far. Get it!

Love!. This app is so easy to learn & use! I love being able to create simple yet elegant designs on my pictures and they really up the quality of my Instagram pictures! Only down side is you have to pay for some graphics if you’re not naturally talented in drawing stars and paint swatches on your pictures, BUT luckily the app doesn’t charge that much for them!

Such a blessing!. I have a bachelor’s degree in Advertising so I decided to design everything that I needed for my business on my own. Since finding this app, I DON’T USE ANYTHING ELSE! I have designed my next book cover, logos for my business, and labels for my products ...oh and T-shirts! Saved me hundreds , possibly thousands of dollars.

I love it but. I love using this app but I hate that it crashes while I am working on something. I would like there to be a lot more variety on backgrounds maybe even tools to create personalized backgrounds. Some of the sticker packages are pointless to purchase because it’s so limiting. There should be more variety and creative stickers most are very generic. I would like to see more improvement. Maybe a streamline factor to the brushes and drawing to make it smoother like on procreate.

Great Designs. I do think there could be more options, the options are great, but limited. I love how the collage designs were added, but there could be more....and its like I paid twice for things - paid for the individual sets then again for the A+ subscription....only to see that there isn’t more was disappointing.

Title photos and more!. I primarily use this app to title or add a short blurb to photos before printing them or sending them. It’s not very intuitive, and the stickers are too cartoonish for me. The pencil and paint brushes for freehand are very difficult to use and not look like a second grader used it.

Makes phone photography more fun!. I love all the options to add fun designs to my iPhone photos. Can really make a cute photo of my baby girl into real fun memory to share. Great selection of unique stickers and design elements. Take photo, edit, design, and upload in 5 minutes or less!

It’s a lovely app. I enjoy using it and I love the current features. However I wish there were more editing options, such as adding shadows to your text and being able to manipulate it. The same can be said for the text itself. Blending options would be great as well. But overall it works beautifully with what it has.

Obsessed. So I have only had this for a few hours and am obsessed. I LOVE the brushes and the glitter, metallic and marble font fills!! Already telling my friends. So fun to play with!! A beautiful mess obsessed but this is frustrating. I am typically obsessed with every A Beautiful Mess ladies put out, but this app is SO frustrating to me and I dont know what is going on. Mostly, it force closes out on me ALL the time and I lose all my work. After spending FOREVER on something it makes me want to cry when the app just disappears. To second it , I cannot find anyway to save something in order to edit later, so I just constantly lose work. Very bummed.

Lacking in tools for being called a “ kit”. Maybe it’s just me and I’m unable to find help but it’s missing tools in each of the interfaces. Like I’m unable to edit crop lines. I’m also unable to add layers in the brush/textures portion. I do love that there is no subscriptions. I do not use it enough to pay monthly fees. I would like an option to add calligraphy brush. For what is it is simple to use but uneasy to “perfect” edits.

If only.... If only it weren’t for the crashes after I’ve spent 10 minutes getting a design perfect... I’d give 5 stars. I’ve already paid for the year, so I’ll keep using but it’s frustrating considering it happens almost each time I use it for a design. Some updates to the collage and cutouts would be cool.

LOVE! Perfect companion to A Color Story. User friendly, simple, but makes a huge difference with photos! I love a color story so I was super excited about this app. And so far it does not disappoint at all. I can’t get over the quality of brushes! Definitely worth the price.
