Please make the regular AC app like this one. This app works the way the regular AC app should. Please throw that one away, sack those developers and have the team that did this app re-make the main one.

Nice App, but..... Would be nice to have access to flight availability or flight tables without having any credits left; it could encourage people to buy a Flight Pass (again)...

Great app. Love how easy it is to use

Been a pain!!. Everything dealing with Air Canada so far has been an absolute pain. No apps work, I’ve created an account and can not access it. Says access denied, trying to login to app, says I don’t exist. Nothing works and getting your boarding passes seems impossible!! Get your stuff together please.

Surprise, surprise. Once again, leave it to Air Canada to make an app that simply does not work. It returns error messages AND locks you out of your account so you can’t even book online OR EVEN BY PHONE. Oh Air Canada, why are you so crappy???

App is wonderful but signup is a pain. App itself works really well whenever it does actually work. The ux is smooth and I can usually book a flight and get out without issue. Right now (and for the past day) it keeps logging me out, requiring my Aeroplan account info to log in again. But on that page I just see a continuous spinner so no actual way to get into the app. Perhaps you can add multiple ways to log in?

Flight pass. Best AC app finally.

Something is wrong. Something is wrong. This app actually works, it’s convenient and I was able to book my flights. I am thinking it can’t be Air Canada, but some elaborate “man-in-the-middle” scheme to steal my data. It does have some errors and you have to select a meal preference, so the scammers really did a bang up job of making it look like Air Canada.

Site offline. Tried to book for two days. Site wasn’t working lost my preferred seat.

Useless garbage. You can’t do anything from inside this app. Cannot get boarding passes, see correct status, check in. Altogether useless

Does not work on my iOS 15.1 iPhone. When I click on the app icon it opens on a black screen with the message you have changed the icon and no possibility to do anything but click on OK then goes to black screen with no options , Just black. Deleted it tried again , same thing .

Need an account. Why do you need an account to get info on a flight you booked?

How do you log in?. It switches to a website that doesn’t open due to a “network connection failure”. Every other app on my phone connects to the network…why can’t air Canada? Even tried a VPN to a Canadian server…nope. Still doesn’t work.

Aircanada flight pass. This used to work well, then Aircanada improved the login. I use it monthly and it takes 5 or 6 login attempts to get logged in. They use the aeroplan page for login and that is slow and frustrating. Login very buggy.

Stuck on login. When I start app it gets stuck on Air Canada login screen. Not sure how to fix. Can’t use app since can’t login.

App Downgrade. Flight pass used to give easy access to see seat availability. The functionality was disabled 18 months ago when there was an “upgrade”. Some upgrade. We used to also be able to see what flights are upgradable. That too went from the app on the “upgrade”. (Still sort of works on web). Give us the old app back!

Problem booking a flite. While trying to book I was kicked out several times due to some unexpected error. Took at least 6 attempts before it worked.

Flight pass. Totally unable to sign in from Mobil app on iOS 14. Pop up window says that it needs to use AC to sign in , I acknowledge and the wheel turns for every with out a result. Have to go to aircanada desk top in order to book a flight If you are not going to fix take it off the market

getting worse with time. Used to be handy app esp when travelling but getting worse with time. Can never access seat selections or seat upgrades, frequently freezes, and I could go on... customer support never responds

Can’t actually book a flight so no use at all. The app does not populate any dates for birthdate so I can’t select my birthdate and so I can’t actually book a flight. Instead, I have to go on the aircanada mobile website to access my flight pass bookings. It is extremely frustrating. I also don’t understand why my birthdate doesn’t automatically populate as all other information does. I have updated the app but still no luck.

Can’t login. The pop up login screen no longer allows you to enter a verification code. The app cannot be used.

Great convenience. Good for last minute flights. Tough to change them though. Nice if air canada would have less phone wait times!!

Close to Terrible. The app can work sometimes but mostly of the time it doesn’t. It doesn’t store your information from one flight pass to another and don’t try entering your birthdate. A calendar either doesn’t show up or you scroll for ages. The new version is worse than the last. On hold with AC for 3 hours to get a fix because the desktop flight passes don’t show up for 24hrs. No wonder everyone is frustrated!

Update Made it Worse. Had a great time with the old app but this update now won’t let me select my seats on my iPhone XR....

It’s a start!. Really happy to see this app as I uses flight passes a lot. Would be good to be able to see a list of all my current flight passes and how many credits are left. Would also be very convenient to be able to request eupgrades from that app.

Was awesome.... Was great for e-upgrades, but useless now. Doesn’t show them anymore. Could be due to system migration, but it has been 2 months.

App not working properly. The app used to let me select/change my seat built that function no longer works. Why?

Worst app ever. This app is absolutely ridiculous. 2 step authentication for every damn thing I want to update. What a complete waste of time. I have wasted a half hour just trying to update my address and phone number. This app is as bad as the actual flights.

Bad link sends to fake web site. There is a bad link in this app that sends people to a phony Air Canada web site.

Seat selection is broken. Seat section is broken after iOS 13 upgrade.

The app is still underperforming. Had to update my birth date and the calendar never showed up Need the techs to use the app to trouble shoot the issues Should rarely have the customer validate the product increment

FLR airport. Cannot book flight ever to FLR airport. It’s part of the list. Always says no flights available whereas the air Canada app shows plenty of flights. Doesn’t matter what date. Never can book!!!

App closes. Since the last update when selecting seats the app just automatically closes. iPhone XR here

Seat booking issues. The app is convenient, however the seat booking has not worked the last three times I have used it until after I confirm booking not before

Review. Booking a flight should take me right to seat selection and it should then present me with the option to request an upgrade. The tool gives me 30% of the functionality I need

The App that was great. This used to be the best travel app in Canada. Since the system upgrades it has lost most of its usefulness. No longer shows upgrades availability, no seat selection, no seat changes, no preferred seats for 100k, and no longer can make changes or cancel flights. This App is grounded. Hopefully it will take off again soon.

Great app.. needs a little improvements. Love the convenience of this app. Few steps and you are done. Very useful. Used it for 4 years now. Missing the e-upgrades availability features. It used to have it. Sometimes exits for no reason but this appears to be much better now. UI for entering birthdates is/was broken for a while. Not sure if it’s fixed now.

Bad update. So there are repeated complaints that seat section won’t work. I will pile on and confirm it does not. Why can’t AC acknowledge and fix this???

Bug in the app. I like the app but there’s a bug issue with inputting the birth date and won’t let you book without this

Flight availability. Not being able book flight. Seems there are only so many seats for flight passes. So the customers who are giving air Canada business all year round are getting shafted. Tell me if I’m wrong curious to know. Tried to book a flight said there was nothing available went in through the air Canada web site not an issue on the date I was looking at.

AC. AC can’t wait to screw us out of the flight passes we purchased but we were unable to use because of Covid.

Date entry is archaic. It is ridiculous How one enters a date, and I do not find it interfaces with air Canada app

Unusable. Can’t enter dates into the app so you can’t book any flights. Also can’t select seats at all. Devs need to actually try and use their own app
