I need the specific animal!. Well this app tells the right animal but i took a picture of my chihuahua and it said chihuahua but I wanted to know what it specifically was like the chihuahua breed so it’s not really good for the specific speed id say

Not smart or identifier. This app is terrible I took a picture of a tree and it told me it was grass. It says it’s only correct 30% of the time so far for me it’s been correct 0%.

Does not work at all. It wouldn’t even give me an answer! It just kept loading.

Worthless.... I had a bug I wanted to identify. This app told me is it is 27% match for... "Insect." I thought maybe my picture was too poor or the bug was just that weird, so I snapped a photo of my dog... And the app informed me that he is a dog. Maybe. Not even 100%. What is even the point? The only way this would be useful is if you were from another planet and didn't know what literally anything was. "Is this a loving thing?" "Probably."

Doesn't identify. If you are hoping to be able to identify a specific thing such as a plant , tree, insect, etc. this app is useless. Take a photo of a plant and it will give you the definition of a "plant", and tell you your photos match things like "plant", "leaf", and "science" at 85.2%. Waste of time.

Wanted to like it but..... I have 2 apps I use for plant ID and when I saw this one that did insects too I thought it would be great. Except I took a picture of a spider and it said there was a 130% chance it's a widow spider (it's not) and 43% chance it's a spider. It IS 100% a spider! Then I tried my butterfly bush, where I got a choice of flower, flowers in plant, or purple. 20-30% I've reinstalled this 3 times and it's just a waste of time.

A flower is a flower. I could be doing something wrong but the picture of a flower I took identified as “flower”. Not helpful. I took a picture of a caterpillar to see what kind it was. “Caterpillar “ was the answer. Gee thanks.

Not accurate. DON’T BOTHER. Took a multiple photos of an insect at different angles. It can’t even detect that it’s an insect but identifies it as aluminum, shoe, mesh and other unrelated objects that doesn’t relate to the insect. Waste of my $2.99

Horrible App: can’t detect even basic flowers or vegetables. Waste of money & time! Tried it out on spinach leaves, poppy flowers & herbs like basil and thyme- NOTHING!! Couldn’t even identify one of them- USELESS !

Cool concept, needs work. I always get “can not identify from this photo” or the suggested possibilities do not look like the plant I’m trying to figure out. 😢

This is a bruh moment. It was cool it identified my dog and my frog but then I went to identify a flower and it made me pay for a monthly payment (of course I didn’t pay) but BRUH

Dismal. I’m disappointed. There is a plant that I know the name of but I’ll be darned if I can remember. But this app told me I could not identify it. It’s a fairly common plant, usually planted outdoors in someone’s beds, not an indoor/house plant I’ll delete the app and try another one

Insect is insect. It correctly identified the pic was of an insect but failed to identify the type when took a pic, on the second pic. The others identified the pic as a leaf or water; the first made sense only in that the bug was on a leaf. This is likely only good on insects that don’t require any zoom or closeup.

Keep Looking. Very vague and extremely uncertain about what it’s actually identifying. Like a struggling student yelling out guesses like they are playing Pictionary.

This was Awful!!. Sure the app is free to down load but you can’t use it unless you subscribe to a WEEKLY fee of $2.99. I took a picture of a swarm of aunts on my kitchen counter to identify what kind of aunts they were. The app told me it was 27% sure it was a counter top and showed me where I could buy more!!! I fussed with this ap for 20 min before I just deleted it.

Not worth the download. I tried to identify an insect and the app twice gave results that had nothing to do with insects. After those 2 attempts the app wanted money. Don’t bother with this app.

Seems beyond useless. Unless I am way behind the learning curve, it appears I can bring up or make a picture of, for example, an insect I would like to identify. First I have to tell the app it’s an insect I want to identify. Then, after much special effects, it pronounces that I have found an insect with 65% reliability. That’s it. Seriously?

FAKE. This app is so fake and on top of it, once you use it at least 5 times it says you have to buy a pack for actual money!!! Just to make sure this app was fake I searched up a picture of cricket and it said it was a long horned beetle , which btw it looks nothing like it!!! DON’T BUY

Insect always is as insect no kidding. Taken picture over and over looking for a proper id only for it to say insect

Wrong 5 times in a row!. I just downloaded this to help ID a caterpillar. It told me it was 37% accurate an insect...🤦‍♀️ So, I tried my photo of a coral snake. 75% accurate it was a boa constrictor. Tried a housefly. It told me 44% an oak leaf moth. Tried an Iris, it told me it was a water lili. My photos were Not blurry or obscured in any way. This is terrible!

Doesn’t get specific. Can’t get it to Id the exact name of the insect . What’s the point ? I know it is a bug.

No ID. No matter the lighting or how clear the picture, this app doesn’t even come close to identifying common plants.

Doesn’t work. I just recently bought this app and I tested it out. I tried many things but they would all be identified wrong, the only thing it got right was my dog which is a Labrador Retriever. I would not recommend this it was a waste of space.

amazing. This app helps me in tree identification, plant identification and snap identifier. I use this for the purpose of education

Smart leaf identifier. Sucked big-time it was did you meet with a leaf in a stem was not tell me what the plan was gave me no information just took pictures I took the pictures and it didn’t walk me through it all if I was doing something wrong it was it just sucked I can’t even give it one star

Not impressed with the app at this point. I scanned a plant and it showed me a pair of pink pants? I’m a little bit confused with how this app actually works. I then scanned a flower and it did not identify it. It just said flower. App needs a lot of work or needs to be more user friendly.

See things my way. So far it identifies things that are in the picture. Saves more room then doing individual identifiers

Awful app. Would give it zero if I could. Just downloaded the app took a picture of an insect and it immediately tried to sell me a subscription without identifying the insect.

Awful and disappointed. I took a picture of an insect multiple times and the answer came up as wood. Wood. There was not even wood in the picture.

Useless. I submitted a very clear photo of a firefly and it was identified as “insect.” This is an app better suited for toddlers who are learning to identify photos with words.

Horrible. This app is terrible I scanned my dog then it said it was a totally different breed than my dog is. than I scanned a small pumpkin then it said it was a squash and at the end it said it was a shoe like what!

About three camera snaps. I took about three camera snaps and it brought up subscription. 😦 I tried to take another but still the same thing. So if you want to pay than this is fine, but if you were hoping to take unlimited pictures and just avoid the subscription side, don’t bother. Unless you don’t mind getting three pictures and that’s it. 😕 I was thinking I’d be able to use this app more. Thank you though for this app to identify bugs and other things. 🙂

poor. Took the first picture of the plant and all tells me it’s a potted plant I can see it’s a potted plant I don’t need to waste my money

Literally an awful app. I took a picture of a bug I wanted to identify against a plain white background and the app told me there was a 27% chance it was the sky… THE SKY. That was the closest match it could come up with “the celestial dome” that includes “everything that lies above the surface of the Earth”. Like are they kidding me or trying to be serious? 😒

Cannot ID Anything. Testing this app to see what it can do. What a joke!!! Tried it on a simple Petunia. Could not ID!!! Tried on Red Rose. Could not ID!! Why can it be simple ?!? I do not recommend this app. If you want the wrong answer, then this app is for you.

Not sure about accuracy. Tested it by taking a picture of a Texas ranger plant, and this app told me it was English lavender

A crane fly is NOT a wolf spider. Three times with three different subjects (Arizona in March has what look like large mosquitos) and every time it identified the crane fly as a wolf spider. And then it said I had to pay for a subscription if I wanted to continue to try. Only after doing some research did I discover the crane fly identification. Fail.

Helpful. This helps me a lot when I tried to Identify creators.

Pay 💵. It was correct but to take a picture I had to pay 💰

Negative stars. I take pictures and it said basil was an herb.. I know that, but I thought the point was to identify the species?! I used basil in my garden to get an idea of how well the app worked.. Not well at all. Will be deleting!

Ehhh. This is app is okay but like every other app you have to pay money for a premium subscription plan and then you get full access.

Didn’t ID anything correctly. I took photos of several plants (cacti, monstera, succulents and an umbrella plant). My “identifications” all came up as “leaf,” “soil,” and “houseplant.” Not even close to correct.

So much fun!. It is a family event to explore using this app in our wood! What an education!

Extremely expensive, not helpful. Seems to be an app designed to trap the unwary with exorbitant subscriptions more than anything else. Could not identify even simple specimens to anything beyond a common, generic name (eg ‘cockroach’) and gave confidence ratings of >100% (ie. impossible!). Although simplistic the IDs were at least more or less accurate (but not useful).

Rob Clark. This app is very inaccurate at identifying insects. I tried on a Grapvine moth caterpillar and the app id’d it as a caterpillar tractor. What a joke, Seriously😂

Hopeless. How do I stop the app trial

Don’t even.. I got this to identify a 3 cm long black ant, as I hadn’t previously come across such a large one indoors. It helpfully identified the ant as: an insect (with 45% probability of being right). I kind of worked that out myself, already, with 100% probability of being right. Delete.

What use is this information?. It does not identify anything

What?. So far has failed at identifying 90% individual insects from perfect photos. Example crane fly is not an arachnid”live picture” A species in a group class IE beetles and butterflies it gives. Not individual insects, most have no data base?? Mind you the app, it’s new, so not without glitches, I suppose.

Not Too Smart Identifier. Tried 5 indoor plants did not identify one correctly.

Terrible. Can’t even identify my cat. Answer comes up whiskers 175%. Kitten 138%. Or 95% Tabby cat. My cat is a torte. Now i know why this app was free.

Not accurate. Tested it with two things, a basic elm tree and a frog. With the tree it could not identify. It said the frog was a lizard.

Not so good as bug identifier. Insect came up as wood. The bug was on a piece of metal..no wood to be found.

Don't bother. All this app tells you is whether it's a flower, herb or shrub. Really I can do that on my own.

Didn’t identify spotted lantern fly. First two paid apps I tried identified the lantern fly. This app offered “beetle”.

Great App. It’s very correct and I like how you can favorite what you’ve seen.

Sorry. I am very sorry I got this app. It doesn’t really tell you anything. It comes up with an option to choose from then takes you to Wikipedia for general information that might not mean anything for what you’re looking for. I have chosen 1 star for this app because I couldn’t chose zero stars. Very disappointed.

This app is stupid.. I subscribed for one year and yet, it’s not working

Not ready for prime time. Identifies all plants as ‘leaf’. Couldn’t figure out what a maple leaf was. Plus, have to love the bots writing the 5 star ratings. I added a 1 star and almost immediately it added a 5 star to keep the ave rating at 3. I don’t normally write reviews but feel like I need to call out the fake 5 star ratings. The app is just not ready yet.

Hobo spider. Was unable to identity a hobo spider.

Not Goid. This app says it can identify plants and animals. I uploaded a couple of pics of a plant and it identified it as a plant...yeah I got that part thanks. Not a good app

Bad identification. When I was testing it I tested it on my bearded dragon. The results did not have bearded dragon.
