Nothing like the paper. Unfortunately you discontinued the distribution of the FT In Florida Since then I barely read the Paper. Articles are too long to be in the screen on an iPhone for a long time

Have to log in every day, sometimes twice. Every time I open this app in the morning, I have to log in again. FWIW I log in using Google. Often in the afternoon or evening, I have to log in /again/. While the app is aggressive about pulling stories down for an offline edition (a genuine utility for my subway commute), this means I absolutely need to be connected to data the first time I open the app. At this point, that’s resulted in my having a little chore every morning off logging in as I walk to the subway. Otherwise. FT’s coverage is what it is, and the app design is fine — nothing revolutionary, but it works.

FT Shoold Allow Subscribers to Save and Store Full Text Articles for Scholarly Research. This app and the FT site doesn’t allow paid subscribers who need to use these articles as sources for academic or scholarly research to save full text articles to organizers like Pocket or Evernote. As such the FT subscription is worthless. Other major news publications allow subscribers to save full text articles for future reference and use as source materials. A serious scholar or researcher needs to be able to keep full text articles from various publications on specialized topics in one folder or location. The way things ate at present, a subscriber has to log on to the FT app or website, then go to a different site, location or folder to compare or supplement the information in the FT article with that of articles from other publications like The Economist or Bloomberg. This is a huge nuisance indeed. New regulations are needed to stop FT from engaging in this monopolistic practice.

Degrading quality. This app has been degrading over the last months to the point when it’s easier to use the website. First, whenever I open it it always loading something for a few seconds and then says it can’t load. Then I tap try again and it loads it momentarily. Why can’t it show me the feed from last update? Why does it always have to wait? Then it asks me if I want to add topics. I already have topics, I use them, I know about them, stop bugging me with this feature. It’s so annoying that it’s easier to use the website.

Needs auto-dark mode. Content is great. But though the app supports a fairly decent Dark Mode, it doesn't support turning it on and off automatically according to the device setting. This is frustrating, to say the least.

Can FT add a dark/night reading function to the app?. Great app and I love the audio function. Any chance on your next update you could include a dark reading/night function?

#1 Reputable & Distinguished Content. The best in class most trustworthy news delivered to users in a brilliant and easy to use format. Always has been - always will be.

A big part of my day. The Financial Times consistently brings me information and analysis not readily available elsewhere. Plus, it has a commendable level of social engagement that we sorely need in the business and political worlds. I’m a grateful subscriber.

Not the same. I am a long term subscriber and avid reader of the FT. But I have to say that it used to be better. News articles are sitting there for a long time and I miss the insights of people like John Autherr and so many that are gone. It seems like you are not able to retain top talent. And that is bad... no news like we used to have

Sell this site. Financial Times really thinks Japan should sell Nintendo? I say the UK should sell this trash of a rag sheet because Financial Times spews nothing but lies and clickbait from it’s idiotic writers who aren’t fit to flip burgers at McDonald’s which I’m sure next they’ll say America should sell McDonald’s because Financial Times doesn’t know a thing about the success of a company especially when it comes to Nintendo who has made millions on their intellectual properties like Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon and are in no need to be sold off unless they were really financially struggling. But you know what should be sold off? The Financial Times for it’s terrible journalism and clickbait.

The truly reliable source. Solid and reliable! Distinguishes between news and opinion! Strategic and economic analysis sound and well researched. I'd like to especially commend Valerie Hopkins in Central Europe. Have been a reader for the last 40 years!

App doesn’t work. The app doesn’t work with my subscription. I subscribed on the website on my PC and now that I downloaded the app to my phone, it wants me to subscribe again in order to read any of the content. I have deleted the app and redownloaded it, signed in multiple times, and it still suggests I need to subscribe through Apple Pay

Please add the e paper. The lack of integration of the e-paper and instead having to use a separate, kludgy bookmark, is odd. The scrolling style of news reading is better suited to quickly updating oneself on the headlines or for open ended reading, but there is still a time and place to sit down and consume the entire paper, especially the wonderful FT Weekend.

OnPoint. The writers, for the FT are precise and rich… Choice of articles and opinions coincide with reality, which, unfortunately in my country today seems to be lacking… As a new writer, I appreciate the craftsmanship of those that contribute to the FT… Thank you, Giovanni

FT hurt by bias. FT covers US political and economic news in an obviously partisan way, letting it’s staff’s opinions distort supposedly hard news coverage. This clear bias undercuts the FT’s credibility generally. However, features on books and other softer topics continue to be excellent and the FT provides important European coverage for US readers.

Great App & Service. I really enjoy the FT in general and like being able to use both app and website. The ability to listen to articles via the app is great option. But it’s really great on the eyes, ability to customize fonts, and all those little nuances that can make or break one’s experience. Hope they keep following best practices and keep improving.

Balanced Reporting. The Financial Times is a pleasure to bead because it presents the facts of the story then frequently looks at how the developments will impact various effected constituencies without emotional language. It is balanced and clear. Opinions are clearly called out and stand apart from the news reporting.

Beware of the bait and switch. I am a huge fan of FT. Read them while and college and was happy to finally have the time and money to read it again. I went for the $99/year subscription. None of the articles that are suggested for me or interest me are part of that subscription. This plan is used a bait to get you to move up to the more expensive plan to actually read any worthwhile articles.

Excellent app but needs one key feature. The layout on my iPhone, iPad, and iPad mini is excellent. The only complaint is that I often come across gated links to FT articles on Twitter and the web but there is no way to automatically open the story in the app and access with my subscription. The New York Times has this feature for its app. With the FT, it’s necessary to open the app and attempt to locate the article manually. Otherwise, a superb app and newspaper.

My favorite newspaper!. I love the Financial Times. I started reading the paper while traveling in United Kingdom and Europe. The business and economic articles are provocative and insightful, offering a global perspective. However, what I find most compelling are the coverage of life, arts, culture, and travel. The magazine is superb. I wish I could hold and cherish the weekend print edition in my hand here in the United States. Frederick

Daily Reader. Easy calm on the eye format. Excellent reporting-higher quality than many other news agencies. App is quite easy to use and find informative important to the reader.

One of my favorite news apps. While I’ve only used a few other newspaper apps, FT is my favorite. The signature color of the background makes reading the news easy on the eyes. I also greatly appreciate the limited number of alerts the app produces by default.

Great newspaper, app can be improved. Been a long time subscriber and love the newspaper. I usually read on the website on desktop or phone, after trying the app I decided to stay with the website. The app basically delivers the website version in compact, however it feels inflexible. I wish I can change the sequence of sections by my preference. Also the interface lacks natural effect, which feels a bit inconvenient for the thumbs.

Restrictions. Sir, I think it is very ridiculous when your digital subscribers cannot efficiently forward news article while your print subscribers can easily cut and copy to send to their friends. Ed

The best Newspaper!. I read a lot of news, and have done so for decades. The one source I look forward to, invariably, is the Financial Times. I don’t always agree with their Opinion pieces, but they are well thought through. I also view their info as top notch.

Steadfast on relevant topics. In a media landscape increasingly consumed by superficial trends and celebrity gossip, the Financial Times remains resolute in its commitment to its core subject matter. While recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives and acknowledging the interplay between finance and the broader world, it skillfully avoids losing sight of its primary objective: delivering essential financial news. This unwavering focus is a breath of fresh air in an era where so many news outlets tend to blur the lines between entertainment and substantive reporting.

Where did “Today’s Paper” go?. Since the app was updated a few months ago, old news and new news are all combined. It was much better before, when one could just see the day’s news under the “Today’s Paper” option (or whatever it was called). Now, one is forced to waste time scrolling through news from earlier days that one has already seen before.

Restore Sharing of Articles. The app recently disabled sharing of articles on the app; I now have a small number of ‘share credits’ I can use or buy more at cost. This prevents me from tweeting content to others. I don’t see the sense in that, and FT didn’t inform me in advance. I will reconsider my FT subscription when up for renewal because of it. But otherwise the app is good.

Best News App. App is terrific because you can select which section you prefer the app to open on, and can also follow journalists and topics of your choosing. Best of all, you can follow newsletters as well, so you can read them directly in the app without needing to clutter your inbox. FT journalism has the best unbiased reporting, best use of language for depth of understand but ease of reading, and truly the best newsletters you can possibly find.

App stopped working. I have had an FT subscription for a long time, but recently the iPad version of the app puts me into a paywall for all articles, despite the fact I have a valid subscription (it works on the FT iPhone app). Seems like a recent iPad update may have caused the issue. Spoke with FT customer support, but no progress. Even deleting and reinstalling the app does not help.

3D Touch from home screen to download. Can you please add 3D Touch to the iOS app with the option to refresh the FT content (i.e. download the paper) from the home screen. Useful if going offline, etc into the metro/subway/tube

Great App!. Love the app and have been an FT subscriber for several years. With that, can you consider adding a queue for your audio articles? Doing so would improve the’s app functionality and convenience for those who listen to your reporting while on the go.

Best source of news, opinion, and culture topics!. I read Economist, NYT, WSJ, Washington Post, and others. The Financial Times consistently delivers the most comprehensive coverage of US and global news while also covering arts & culture topics each day. A gem of a news resource and my daily “go-to” source. Unbiased and factual. Wonderful journalism

This is the best newspaper known to humankind. The financial times is the only newspaper worth subscribing to for the internationally focused business person. I find most of its notifications useful. It answers all the questions I have about the markets. I love this paper.

Great App for a relevant newspaper. The app is clear, easy to navigate, with pull downs to get to areas of interest. From politics, finance, technology, culture and book and film reviews. Great opinion columns by credible writers. The app allows to get the best of the FT. Keep it current

Great App but Not Perfect. Wonderful app with up to date FT articles. I find no delay between the FT app and the FT website itself and using the app makes reading FT articles on my phone so much easier. My only complaint is that some links (like comment links) will try to take you to the FT website instead of just taking you to the article on the app itself. That is a minor concern and it is otherwise a great app.

FT is a good WSJ alternative. Are you a Wall Street Journal subscriber who is disgusted by their terrible new (version 14) iPad app? Are you looking for something better? The Financial Times has a really nice iPad app that works well. FT has excellent unbiased news stories. I like “The Big Read.” Overall, FT is a great choice.

Could be better. Feels like the website has more recent and relevant articles than the app. App’s refresh rate is bad.

Great News, But Not Very Accessible App. Widget font is tiny and completely ignores system font size settings. Makes it absolutely impossible to read the news there. Can you please fix your widget and incorporate accessibility system settings to reflect user's size display preferences?

Mostly Political. FT increasingly filled its articles with boring and irrelevant political commentary instead of covering business trends. Also they despise their print customers and will try to bully you into becoming digital only. Terrible customer service, hollowed out newsroom, obsession with Trump & Johnson. Hardly covering emerging markets.

Great columns, and great coverage of business and economy. The FT doesn’t attempt to cover as much as, say, the NY Times. It’s specialised and selective, but it’s not narrow. It offers reporting or core issues in the politics and economy of UK and US, to a lesser extent the individual countries of Europe and the world. It also addresses the EU as such and the state of global affairs. So it’s good for an analytic take of politics and more depth on markets. But the best is its several terrific columnists.

Best newspaper for “World View”. I’m a news junkie. Read NY Times, Economist, New Yorker, Fox news, WSJ & FT. I like to see what stories are covered by each & want to make up my own mind. No news is with out perspective but the FT gives me a global perspective of news and economic trends- PLUS their magazine & arts coverage is one of (if not) the best in the world. It’s a fair (reasonable, clear, even handed) picture of an often confusing story.

Good UI, Tough UX. The app’s interface is great for things you only do once — add topics to track, share links, save articles. However it’s much more difficult to scroll through a list of headlines, read one, and then jump back to the same place in that list. Instead, it sends you back to the top/beginning and you have to find your way back. My own “myFT” profile has a quite long chronological list of articles. When I open an article published 4 days ago, I hate being forced to scroll down past >70 headlines to find the ones published 5 days ago. I should be able to jump back to the same place in that list. Same recommendation applies for Search results (would also like to see filters there) however I understand such a feature would be harder to develop.

No longer a trusted source for balanced news. Once considered the most trusted source of unbiased news, The Financial Times has reverted to adopting the line of western warmongers and neoconservative sentiment. It is not the independent source of information to which we relied on. Very disturbing when it is not more accurate than the Daily Mirror or New York Post. But my subscription is automatically renewed without asking if I want to pay for tabloid news.

Mobile App is Useless. I am a big fan of FT and still read their web based articles on my desktop, but since this mobile update the interface is all scrolling like a Social Media feed and proves to be useless for me. I liked the last version where you can choose your topic, find a list of subtopics and and choose from a list of articles. I don’t care to scroll through articles to find one that seems interesting. This isn’t Social Media get back to the news.

Great articles……….if you could read them!. When select an article to read and click on it to read, up pops a notice telling me I have to pay to read more. Unfortunately, I don’t pay and go a site that doesn’t charge.

Not good at first, became worse later. One saltar might be high - One of my frustrations with this app was always that it was never possible to get access to all the articles you would find in the FT website (or, at least it was not clear how). I never had a problem with this second-rate app until some weeks ago when it never updates. I don’t even now why they keep it operational

New format. I do NOT like the new layout. I have been patient and given it time, which has helped, but it is still not optimal. Having said that the FT app is the best app in terms of quality news. I also read the WSJ daily and that app is a complete disappointment in comparison.

Excellent Source of News, Lifestyle and Opinions!. Financial Times is worth subscribing to. They simply have excellent news articles, lifestyle coverage and opinion pieces. Their app is also fantastic. As a subscriber I can only praise their content and media. Worth every cent! A+

FT - a mandatory daily read. The world is cluttered with excellent blogs, newspapers and magazines. The two I try to read almost every issue are the FT and the Economist - both stand above their peers in terms of factfulness, objectivity and relevance.

Full page ads. I'm seeing full page ads when I swipe left or right in an article 。 I've already paid for a subscription, not sure why there are now full page ads on this new app.

Calm, informed news. In a world of click bait headlines and news as entertainment, the FT is a shining beacon of what a news organisation should be. Well worth the price.

Poor UI navigation. When reading articles and when you scroll down, it always accidentally swipe horizontally to another articles, very hard to use when reading.

Stupid App that doesn’t let me SSO-sign in. SSO Login not available???

Beautifully written. Well researched.. My go to read. I just love the FT.

Will. Overall the app is quite good, but there are some shortcomings. It is slow to start and, if you go to another window for more than a few seconds, it often resets itself. That is quite annoying.

My Good Choice. As an Economist reader I felt constrained by its timeline for delivering content - delayed but well constructed. Having enjoyed the FT Weekend print edition whenever I visited Sydney - no access where I live - in part to access the recipe, I decided to subscribe in order to get the immediacy of constantly updating information covering both Asia and the wider world. I have not been disappointed by the FT though in myself for the delay in taking action.

Making it harder and harder to see content. Still one of the best, unbiased news outlets in the world but increasingly difficult to see content as flashy app developers dominate the needs of readers - newest version has massive photos and text so two headlines take the space that 8 headlines used to take. Arg.

Ft. Previously you had an option where one could see the actual paper and zoom in on an article. It’s a shame this option is no longer available

Falling quality and a lot of trolls but reasonable journalism. I subscribe to the FT for a number of reasons beyond just the articles and the quality if them. The fact that this organisation allows comments on its articles is a huge differentiator however there are an increasing number of trolls appearing in the comments section. If social media companies are going to held liable for false information posted on their websites and apps then news organisations cannot be far behind. There have been a number of times when factually incorrect assertions have been made which seek to influence public opinion at times and it is getting annoying. I also feel the quality of the journalism is generally good, but there is a noticeable drop in quality from prior years. The depth of the journalism often falls short of what a reader could or should reasonably expect.

FT APP. I absolutely love reading the FT It’s my favourite newspaper But reading it online is not the easiest nor most readable on the App It’s hard to negotiate the things I like - whereas in the actual paper version I read every single page. As I cannot get the paper version in my region- I am less than satisfied Suggestions welcome

great content unstable app. Best newspaper around although the app often freezes. The stock screener used to be amazing but now it returns duplicate results making it unusable.

Crappy app. Make a native app this is just the website

Content is brilliant. Please make the ability to swipe from start to finish in your MyFT section. Also the ability to just let audio in the MyFT section play from first to last article assuming audio is available.

App doesn’t update. Videos don’t play.. Videos don’t play on iPhone.

Quality journalism. My absolute go-to for financial and economic news on a daily basis. High quality, balanced journalism that’s worth paying for plus a growing number of excellent podcasts.

Good journalism. Worth the subscription, diverse and engaged content

Error when clicking on images. On the iPad and iPhone app, when you click on an image in the article the app reverts back to the home page. This is very annoying if you are trying to read articles in sequence. Please fix

Best news app. Very rarely can I not think of an imptovent but your app is perfect

Excellent Paper. Top notch reporting; outside of the CCP bots in the comments channel a fantastic source of information, not tainted by the social justice/virtue signalling thats poisoned the NYT/Globe and Mail. Pricey but worth it.

Design of the app have lots of areas that need improvement. The design of the app is one of the worst among the news papers. one of the worst part is why on earth you have all your news story at the small bottom of the screen scrollers? You have a huge page with just two story headings. It's mind boggling why i have to keep scrolling through the list of stories at the bottom of the page. There are other issues that makes me feel that the iPad app is worse than the iPhone app, not that the iPhone app is anything exceptional. But of all other news app. It's usually the phone app that is not as good an experience. FT manage to do the reverse.

Broken layout. The scrolling and nav are often misalign in latest update.

New Update is Terrible. UI change is not great. At all.

Been a reader for several decades; the app is great.. At one time I had to receive the Financial Times via the mail which meant I was always getting yesterday’s news. Thankfully the app is available and it’s filled with the great content I started reading many decades ago.

Great Post. I enjoy reading FP

President & CEO of ultra high net worth consulting firm. Fantastic. Authoritative and credible on business news and interviews. Fascinating personal articles. Thank you!

Did the app get the corona virus?. App won’t load articles and constantly crashes. Also it says beta on it. I never opted for beta apps. Given the subscription price the app needs to work.

email newsletter colour sucks now. hello, the newsletters with this white background is harsh. the beauty of the financial times is also the ease on eyes when reading unlike others. give us the option to choose. thank you.

Does not let you create a login. This is the first time I’ve seen an app that does not seamlessly work with OAuth logins either Apple or Google’s. Apparently I need to have had to create it elsewhere (I assume a desktop). Does not give the option to create an account. Only has Google or Apple logins (but won’t work if you’ve never created one before) and the standard username /password fields. It also has a forgot password option. But no create user account option. Most apps try to make you stay and do everything on the app. I actually feel like deleting it after not being able to create a user account after less than 3-4 minutes of use.

Global Scope. The ft should be renamed global Times. Continuous questioning is The Only way of building original intelligence and independent views

FT. I have been reading FT for 3 decades, I find the global perspective and analysis tremendous and lunch with FT and weekend addition excellent. In a very fast moving world with many economic and geopolitical challenges, FT in my view provides excellent daily perspectives and insights I cannot find elsewhere on a daily basis and very professional reporting. Rick

FT. World’s greatest business newspaper!

Same great experience as the paper. The app is very well designed, down to the pinkish hue of the paper.

Best In Class for N. Am., UK and International News. The best app for reading news, along with excellent content compared to the WSJ. Easy navigation and minimally intrusive addverts.

FT Insightful, atypical more introspective.. Analysis. I read both FT and NYTs, I always go to FT to follow-up on political events, before the NYTs.

No Longer Auto Update. Latest version no longer auto update. Excellent customer services.

No way to cancel subscription. There is no way to cancel your subscription on their app or website. In the age of software era, it is just poor ethics to not provide this functionality, making it harder for users to unsubcribe, hoping that they will delay or forget. I had to contact chat support on their website to cancel my subscription. I usually don’t write negative reviews on apps but I was really annoyed by this unethical attitude.

Limiting My access to most of the content.. Unless your limiting my access to to most of the articles stops i will terminate my subscription. Having 2 levels of access is Ok , where you limit some special articles , but when you further have randomly limited my access to many ,is not acceptable. Your increasing left bias is not appreciated either. Just report the news in an unbiased way, do analysis, of facts , presenting opinions, and calling that news is not what this paper stood for over the years I have been a subscriber. Long time subscriber.

Not as insightful as it should be. Some good analysis but that’s outweighed by the many articles that are indifferently and woodenly written. Opinion pieces are woolly and couched to such an extent as to be ultimately meaningless. There seems to be no editing of the copy or perhaps there is and it only makes it worse Earnings reports are barely rewritten from the press releases they came from. This could be a much better newspaper.

This is a marked improvement over previous apps. Great app

Buggy. If you try to post a comment and change the orientation to landscape you will lose your post. There are some issues with text and headline layout in portrait mode on the iPad. All in all it’s a functional app but too many small bugs. Looks like a half arsed effort by their app developer.

Ads worse than on website. The app is hijacked by video ads. At first, I thought it was a virus, but no just an awful reader experience in the name of additional revenue.

The Best. The best business news source, streamlined and well presented. The app and webpage are a pleasure to use.

Financial Times: Reliable News, but falls short on moderation of in-house commentary fora. The Financial Times is one of the English-speaking world’s top five news providers. While it is not as comprehensive (or focused on investigative journalism) as the New York Times and other journals, it does try to ensure that it hires top-flight journalists who actually corroborate what they report, to the extent that is possible (in some places, like China, Iran and, of course, Putin’s Russia, that isn’t easy). It sometimes falls down in terms of its effort to moderate comments offered by subscribers. This is a problem, as it is clear that many corporate entities (political parties and big businesses in democratic states, as well as agents and apologists who serve authoritarian states) are all quite active; intemperate contributions from bonafide subscribers are also a problem. But where isn’t the moderation of subscriber comments a challenge? The FT arguably do a better job than most other publications and social media platforms.

The best source for news.. Well laid out app. Only critique would be an improved podcast player.

Scroll bar. Needs one in-app to depict where in the article one is. Love the pink otherwise!

Comments all but gone. Used to be what kept me coming back. Now you can only comment on articles about apple orchards or something equally benign. Sad.

Why release something that doesn't work. Just a web app. Can't even post comments through this app.

Always ahead of the story.. Been reading FT for at least the last five years and I can say that they are the most trusted source of analytical news coverage that I use. They are often ahead of the story. I find very few grammatical problems in FT articles. Love the adoption from web app to full mobile app. Thanks everyone. Keep it up.

Ugly icon. 5 stars for content quality and user experience. 1 star off for the ugly APP icon and no landscape version for iPad.

Unable to sign in. I am unable to sign in with my Google account despite deleting and installing it again. Please fix it. Thanks.

America obsessed. I subscribe to the FT for more thoughtful, comprehensive and cosmopolitan journalism than is found in drama-addicted N America. I think Europe is far more interesting. But the FT increasingly delivers the same sensationalized American exceptionalism, repeating the same culture war stories and assuming we are all Americans. At least, when reporting on US figures, add US to titles like the President or the Fed.

Great design. Dark mode available, .

Great app except for Weekend Edition. The app works well. I love the AM Edition feature. It’s very unfortunate that this feature doesn’t work for Weekend edition. If this could be fixed, the app would be perfect from my perspective.

Not what it used to be. The day to day content has become repetitive in some areas of reporting for lack of new content

👉 Are you looking for an Adsense alternative advertising platform?

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Offline. Unfortunately you can no longer read the FT app when offline, even if you have downloaded today’s editions. Frustrating when you’re on the London Underground. You could do this in the past but no longer.

New insights. There is a need to replace long established writers with fresh thinking journalists. Too many have become smug, arrogant in their observations and certainly biased. Readers don’t care if you been at the FT for decades… we care about making sense of rigs increasingly complex world. Your historical coverage of Tesla is indicative of the challenges you face… biased, dismissive, old world and certainly not accepting that your analysis was wrong

Bug on Home Screen. There’s a bug on the Home Screen. After scrolling half way down the page, the view snaps back up to the top of the page and then the entire screen is locked and won’t allow you to scroll. I’m running iOS 17.0.2

Support new magic keyboard for iPad Pro. Please add two-finger trackpad support for Apple’s new magic keyboard for iPad so that we may swipe horizontally in the app for horizontal scrolling of articles instead of having to swipe horizontally on screen. Enjoying the app.

They take your money. They take your money after two weeks. $67 with now renewal notice. Didn’t see an option to cancel on the app. Tried to cancel online and it looked like they would only bring to a lower tier. Why is it so hard to cancel. Shady!

Swipe left to menu. Would like the swiping left action to navigate back to the last menu, rather than the next article in that section.

App keeps freezing. I have been a subscriber for many years and love the newspaper. Unfortunately, the app keeps freezing since the last update.

Dark mode, please. Unless I simply missed how to enable it, I don’t think there’s a way to read the FT in dark mode. I love catching up with the FT right before sleep but hate being flooded with yellowish background light all over my face. Adark mode would be a huge improvement in my app experience.

Great source of reflections and learnings. I have grown to appreciate FT in its entirety. It is thorough, non fictional and engaging. A rare commodity in today’s journalisms which has to be cherished. Thank you for keeping your readers so well informed.

Everything a newspaper should be. Authoritative, well written and researched articles and wide ranging coverage make the FT one of my most trusted news sources.

Wonderful app. The app does a very good job highlighting stories both in their print edition and other pieces of FT’s journalistic reach.

Great content, slow video. Great content. Please increase Africa section. Videos are slow

Buggiest app / don’t subscribe through apple. I’m not sure I’ve encountered a buggier, less ready for prime time app, certainly not in the news space. I wouldn’t recommend subscribing through apple at this time - they have a a KNOWN bug that doesn’t allow the app to work with an apple subscription! I’ve requested a rebate to no avail. WSJ / NYT far superior user experiences.

Too many stories have too long a half life. A print newspaper doesn’t run the same story again. I’m not sure why the electronic version of the FT does. If there isn’t enough new news maybe just make the edition smaller.

Excellent information. FT pioneered the digital experience in news media. They know what they’re doing, and the reporting is top notch. I feel better informed with this app.

e edition. Although, I pay a subscription for e edition, my FT app continues to ask me to pay for extra articles. I don’t know why FT can’t hire competent programmers.

Pages not loading in the app. Rare but it’s happening at time of FT request feedback..

I miss the old version. What happened to the date and the ability to look at different the paper for dates? WSJ app has it still.

The app is not intuitive. This app is designed to make you work hard to find articles you want to read and easy to wade through those you don’t. If I want to be manipulated, I’ll watch television. Subscription cancelled.

No ePaper. Surprisingly, the only thing the app lacks is access to the ePaper. You are directed to use a web browser to access it on a mobile device, but on my iPad (when it works) it is more cumbersome than newsreader and others.

App may become unusable. Every time I open the app it just displays a white page with the text "Sorry, this tearsheet could not be loaded". Even resetting my device has no effect.

One of the best newspaper. I am in Caracas and thanks to have the opportunity to keep me informed about the world. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Financial Times. Despite the ups and the downs, there are still only two financial centers/centres. Thanks London because there wouldn’t be the Financial Times without your greatness.

Personalisation. The personalised feed could be further refined I am still getting a whole bunch of articles that are useless for what I am using FT.

CHANGE. Should have the ability to look online for a copy of today’s paper as printed.

Expensive subscription, but good news. It costs more than American papers, but the coverage is more interesting.

Apparently not much development effort or reader input. Needs to allow greater control over font sizes. Even when one chooses a larger font, the article titles/headlines remain tiny, and fhe reader comments minuscule. Could also be a lot easier to share, for example, via twitter. Otherwise it’s pretty good.

Epaper option is terrible. This FT access is very confusing. I paid an epaper access through several thousands of my airlines miles. In the end I can still not access the app. There is a long round about way to access the epaper I am told. WSJ has such a beautiful app for online access. This app is really 1 star

My Window to the World. I appreciate the objective, straight forward news and opinions on FT. It serves me as a reliable window of the world that I can rely on.

Cannot cancel subscription. The burgers charged me $69 after the first cheap trial month even though I did cancel the subscription. But the app does not have any settings for managing subscription. No way to cancel it. Never mind the subscription blunder, this is definitely a third tier provincial newspaper with just a couple of decent journalists. One tenth of scope and breadth of the Wall Street Journal.

App menu often becomes unresponsive. The menu on the left (that appears by tapping on the the three lines at the bottom left corner) does not do anything when something is selected. This often happens once I have used the app for sometime. Closing (killing) the app and reopening it is the only way it works again.

FT App. I dislike the FT App. I wish it was more like the WSJ and Irish Time and Le Monde apps which I subscribe to. These allow the user to scroll through the pages as one does with a paper copy.

Sharing works really, really poorly. Great App in all but the sharing, which works horribly. If you read a good article, you probably want to share with friends or colleagues. Sharing really doesn’t work at all on most messaging apps.

Excellent journalism and app. Analytically strong journalism written with stylistic aplomb. I am a digital only subscriber and the app is solid. The layout is attractive and easy to survey. MyFT lets you follow topics that interest you. Highly recommend!

Logging in trouble. I don’t find the app user friendly. I have a digital premium subscription and it seems I have to log in every day. Is there a way to shorten this process?

Read every morning. Part of my daily routine!

Great financial news. One of the best financial news apps on ios. They have one of the few left unbiased news sources

No FT No comment. It’s been said many times but I’ll say it again. Having had the privilege of living and travelling in many parts of the world including London, Milan, Tokyo, Moscow and New York, I always relied on the FT for out-of-the-box comments, analysis and information.

AmericaSpeaks TheVoiceOfJoyce. I enjoy your balanced coverage of World affairs and the business and financial markets. Your book reviews are impressive and worth following and reading. As a seeker of fact, I respect and cite FT’s articles in my Posts.

Ads even with a premium subscription. Great app, great information. However, even with a premium subscription you get ADs on your feed and news articles. 2 stars until this is resolved.

Trash. Trash app, terrible customer service. Tried to sign up for student account, failed, site hangs at payment portion. Tried to get help via chat, hit language barrier. For what it costs I suspect maybe 5% probably goes towards actually providing service or content for that matter. Still can’t believe Twitter is still a more reliable source of direct information.

Excellent articles and comments!. Articles with a global perspective and many informed comments.

The App has failed to load. Every time, have to swipe-up closed and let the app fully restart for it to load. Once actually running it is quite nice.

Stopped updating. Worked well for a couple months. Has been stuck on the same set of articles for the last two weeks. Every day I open it, see the same article about Switzerland, try for a minute to make it update to today’s paper, get frustrated, and leave. Why can’t I get today’s paper all of a sudden?

Content does not load completely. Has problems completely loading new content first thing In the morning. No pictures, no stories, just placeholders. Have to restart app multiple times daily to get latest. Please fix an otherwise great app.

Bait and switch. I signed up for what I thought was a digital subscription, advertised at a low incoming rate, only to find out once I had subscribed that many articles are not included. What a joke.

Gift articles. Every time I click the gift article, it never works. Then I click it again and end up losing two gift credits. The application is buggy and needs improvement.

Access my local devices?. The app has gotten rather glitchy after I denied a request for it to access other devices on my local network. No idea why FT is requesting this.

Nice app but... Very slow load of new data Could use a bigger font.
