It’s an iPhone App. Come on IBD, this app does not work well on an iPad. I see complaints here from a year ago & you haven’t fixed it. It’s just a shame.

I’m not renewing. This thing is a joke. You receive a lot of advertising and late message. I don’t thing anyone can make any real money with this service at all. Every time you receive and alert is to let you know that a company was added or removed from the list. What can I do with that?? And when you receive a buy alert is because the company already gap up 5 or more % already and you are late to the party . Really this thing is nothing but garbage.

Leaderboard app a breeze. Love the app, easy to scroll through the leaders see current action, market action also right at your fingertips. Nice job guys!

Not for iPad. This app does not work on an ipad. It does to take advantage of the extra real estate of the screen. It does not move. Could not see the entire chart of any stocks. Very disappointed for this app on my ipad.

Really good but. I would love to see a larger watch list. Many stocks are not on the list and then boom. Leader board. Also having a track record of performance. Yes. You say the buy zone but why don't you put where you actually bought and sold and percentage gain overall.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong?. The content on my iPad appears in a limited 3”x3” space in the “portrait” configuration at the top of my larger screen (about 4”x7”). Each page is “magnified,” meaning that viewable content starts at the left margin and extends to only half the page. To get to the missing right side of the page, I must use my fingers to scroll to the right to find what I’m not seeing. Then, when I take my fingers off the screen, it’s annoyingly spring-loaded to return back to left-margin-only view. I would like to be able to switch from “portrait” to “landscape,” reduce the magnification by half, and increase the app’s usage of the full screen size that is available to it. Can’t seem to locate any “Settings” tab that would allow any of these actions to happen. I can’t believe this is the way the IBD folks intended this app to function for its iPad customers. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, to no avail. When using Firefox on my laptop, everything works quite well. I must be doing something wrong.

App does not enlarge finally fixed. The app opens and is only 3” x 3” in size on my Ipad pro, the arrows on the corner do not work to change the size. Its to small to get any information on the app, was disheartening. Now it comes to size on Ipad pro, a thanks goes out to developers for the fix..its awesome now Now it has reverted back to half size, half visible. I am not sure why, I guess an update has changed it back. I would appreciate a fixed again that would be permanent.

Faulty advertising. I bought the subscription because the ad stated it would come with buy and sell points and alerts. And…….nothing

Can not display chart!. I just installed this app, everything works except the chart is not displaying for me. It’s blank after the spinning icon. I am using iPhone SE

Great App. Very informative and easy to use

I learned how to trade correctly using Leaderboard. It’s not a strict implementation of CANSLIM but it is based on the same set of principles. I’ve learned so much using Leaderboard and attending the monthly calls, listening to the podcast. I’m not entirely sure how they source the ideas, but I assume they use a combination of judgement and IBD tools like Marketsmith. The only potential negative is I would rather plan out my days and weeks than react to intraday recommendations. Occasionally there are new positions that are added without starting on the Leaders to Watch. Some stocks can move very quickly. Also, during extreme volatility, some of these can make big moves down. To anyone considering using: remember, it is your money and your responsibility alone for how you manage your capital. You can lose money. Treat Leaderboard as a way to learn and you will get tons of value.

Lousy app- never updates. The content of information on the app is old and does not get updated along with the so called alerts

APP is Great (Glitch: Can’t Stay Signed in). The app is great as far as the information provided and the user friendly platform. Notification system is on point as well. Only downside I’m experiencing is that the app keeps telling me that I’m not signed in, while I’m still using it, right after I sign in. This glitch is the only reason I give this a 4 star review.

Leaderboard crashing. Keep s crashing, can’t sign in, every week, have to delete and reinstall, please fix

Confused. They say to move out of PayPal, but in another list they have it as leader top 50. Then there is the entry point, all are past gone the entry points. Better if with Reddit’s comments! Not worth the 70 bucks

It is finally here!. I have been using Investors Business Daily app and have been waiting for the Leaderboard app to come out. The app is great, I now have an easy access to the leaders list and stock checklist. Also love the app notifications addition.

Leaderboard app. Wish it had buy or sell text messages instead of emails, for quicker response…

Disappointing- hopefully will be improved. The app does not view well on an iPad due to small sizing and does not enlarge using the bottom right resize icons. Hopefully this will be corrected soon in an updated version.

Font not great. Much waiting app... thank you !!! Font need to change or same as IBD digital.

Easy to Use. Really handy to review stocks pretty quickly, once you get the hang of it. Took a couple of days to find were everything was, after that, it made screening stocks quick and easy.

Leaderboard for iPad?. This app DOES NOT work on an iPad. People have pointed this out for over a year now. It stays in portrait mode only. It doesn’t even enlarge to the full screen. You have to remove the iPad from the keyboard, turn it for portrait mode only, and use the screen keyboard. The app is clearly not responsive design as it stays in iPhone format in the center of the iPad screen. Appreciate any effort to fix this problem.

Keeps signing me out too soon, and forcing me to sign in. The app makes me sign in just after being logged on for a few minutes. Really annoying. Hopefully this can be fixed.

Needs a lot of improvements. The charts do not load in a reliable manner. The app doesn’t work natively for iPad and there are screen resolution issues. The checklist status colors are easy to confuse for color blind people. Support is not good either. A lot of improvements are needed. Limited to a few watchlists with limited quantity of stocks and poor visibility of key fundamental and technical metrics.

Covered call. I think IBD should have a section with conservative covered calls/ cash secure puts.

Why can’t IBD offer an iPad app like everyone else?. IBD Digital, Leaderboard, Swing Trader … all stuck in early days of app creation. For the prices being charged you’d think they would support their customers enough to create an app that utilizes the real estate provided on an iPad, works in landscape etc. There are very few apps these days that do not have these basics … but IBD has three of them. Wonder what else they aren’t investing in.

Excellent summary pages!. Leaderboard charts have been upgraded and are very clear - the push notifications to the app are real-time and help you get ahead of a stock’s price action - thx for the IT work on this app!

It works, but needs refinement. Stable app and provides the information I need. However, needs improvement in displaying charts consistently and not have blanks at times.

Basically useless on the IPad. I love the service, but it is basically useless because it won’t launch in landscape mode. Does anyone use an iPad in portrait mode? Put some effort in and create an app that works on an iPad.

Irritating. I keep having to log out and back in to recieve updates and notifications. I have to log-out-and-in several times a day. Even after updating my OS and after deleting and reloading the app several times. Hope you can fix the bugs with this otherwise great app.

App is horrible. I subscribe to leaderboard and use it every day on my ipad browser. Ive downloaded the app but it is just horrible. First of all it doesn't even fill my ipad screen, only about 25%. It doesnt have all the same tools and doesnt allow you to access leaderboard charts. There is no good reason for anyone to download this app. I would rate it a zero if I could.

Fantastic app! Where is the iPad version?. Great app, but my gosh, no iPad version? ALL your competitors have both iPad and iPhone versions. Apps just work better rather than going to website. Scaling issues with website on iPads. Thank you!

Small screen on my apple tablet. I can’t see the full leaderboard screen on my tablet

Not a native iPad app. I’m really disappointed that there isn’t a native iPad app for Leaderboard. The app is free but you have to pay for the service so in effect you are paying a hefty price to use this app. I’m not sure why they can’t put for the effort to make a native iPad app.

Not ipad version? Common…. IBD is great, they make a lot of money not to have an adequate IPAD large size version. Marketsmith has one, yes Leadorboard and IBD dont. Common guys, is year 2022. Ipad version should be a normal thing by now.

LeaderBoard charts. App doesn’t update stock chart when I log in. Sometimes have to go to main menu and then to specific stock chart before correct price is displayed.

Could be something great. Unfortunately very confusing and getting info to figure out how to use is ridiculously difficult. FAQ's is a joke. There are videos that are supposed to help and train but they can be confusing when initially trying to figure out basics.

Unique FIVE STAR phone app. This is a 5 star iPhone App that brings with it all the key features of the Leaderboard web page. The charts use unique highlights to display entry and support levels with accompanying annotations. The app does work on a iPad (only in portrait mode); however, I am able to access the Leaderboard web page on an iPad with the same features as a laptop and feel the two formats complement each other. My justified complaint would be that while on iPad/safari the difference in size and ratio of the leaderboard chart versus an IBD chart, with IBD clearly presenting the larger, classic, logic ratio chart. *Leaderboard is a professional service with quality information on chart patterns, bases and entry points, with a detailed checklist, annotated charts, solid commentary insights and direction. Leaderboard has also added ‘scorecard’ a live monthly, interactive Zoom broadcast available to subscribers. Thanks to IBD/Leaderboard! I really enjoy the pocket size convenience of your iPhone apps!

Doesn’t work on iPad. The app only loads a small square image that appears to be a small fraction of a page in a portion of an otherwise blank iPad screen. Nothing else happens. Deleted the app from the device.

Awesome. Love this app simple and easy to use it

Cuts half screen. Is it the app or my iPad? Every few days I have to delete and reload the app because only Half the screen appears

Notifications. App notification in iOS is not working as expected

The stock list doesn’t get updated. The leaders list doesn’t get updated after notifications. For instance when it says certain stock has been removed, it takes a while before it disappears, sometimes requiring an app restart. App notifications, once clicked on, won’t take you anywhere on the app except fir the front page.

Mostly wrong. Lots of picks but most head south after the recommendations.

iPad app. This app is not suited for an iPad. It formatted for an iPhone. Unlike MarketSmith which has functional iPad and iPhone apps. The Leaderboard iPad app is not functionally usable in a serious manner.

Very poor reliability. I am a long time subscriber having join IBD nearly two decades ago. But know I’m forced to reconsider. Very often locked out of the site for no reason. Very difficult to impossible to contact support. Descent service but expensive. The highly unreliable aspect is not new and only gets worse yet investors.com is apparently unconcerned. Shop for another service.
