Performance issues. Of late I am experiencing technical issues using this app on my iPhone X. It heats up and doesn’t load content quickly. Please look into it.

Mostly good reporting. Except for some politically inspired column writers like Andy, the content is usually unbiased and informative

Great App except for a few glitches. Recently, the app has been having problems with scrolling through the newsfeed and scrolling within an article. It no longer remains smooth and keeps getting stuck, which spoils the reading experience. But apart from that, it’s a great app! Personally, I prefer this over Indian Express or TOI, in terms of news and UI. (For Dev: P.S. This is on an iPhone 7plus)

Decent but has bugs. A bug I experienced is that the comment box on a news article didn't allow viewing of the comment beyond a limit. So the last part of a comment cannot by seen by the user. Why should they not be able to fix it with the huge capability that they have, I wonder.

Economic times. Is a great financial newspaper. Very informative and high quality articles covering national and global news. Highly methodical and analytical I scroll through it several times a day. It keeps me updated from stock market to news of major companies. All articles are very interesting and informative.

Disturbing click ads. News is fine but it keeps showing disturbing click ad video with every article of a person removing bunch of ticks from human foot using knife🤮🤮.The title of video is “what causes hypersomnia?”. The worst part is that video starts running even when I haven’t clicked on it!! Have no choice but to uninstall this.

No way to share. Perhaps the most broken export widgets I have ever seen on the open internet

Love the ET app!. Started following ET app around 2015 and been in love with it ever since. I remember waking up and being glued to ET app for the news updates. Best is it doesn’t propagate unnecessary stuffs. Shifted to US in 2018, still ET app keeps me connected to whats happening in India.

Critically Analytical. ET provides a critical review of current issues generally without bias. It is informative to read the news and the follow up which they do on the same issues

Broken after recent update. App hangs a lot very slow and unresponsive when scrolling, please fix.

Too many notifications. I have been trying to find a way to get rid of all your myriad notifications and it appears to be impossible. I can’t even spam you out.

Reliable news and good app design. This is one of the best news paper in India. The app interface is good and never crashes.

Great simple ET app!. The app is great just because it is simple. The news is usually relevant and unbiased and the notifications are periodic and of the right amount. The app doesn’t crash and presents the news in an easy-to-read manner.

Annoying subscription message. I have already paid for subscription. You still show me subscription message and again, like a fool I paid. And, yet, you still keep showing me those annoying subscription message! Why? Why cannot you have a decent app development team who can really build something that works?

Wall Street Journal of India. ET is one of the best newspapers from India. For me it is my WSJ of India and keeps me fully updated with all the news including sports, politics, and all other major news-worthy events. News and data to rely upon.

Great News, terrible iPad interface.... I have nothing against the quality of the news however, they have been lazy and haven’t developed the interface for iPad users, it just gives the option to enlarge the screen only in portrait mode, similar to a low budget iPhone game. I expect better from one of the leading financial news sources in India...

Hyperlinks in article issue. Very off experience while reading articles as the app keeps accidentally redirecting me to some of the hyperlinks included in the article when in fact, all I am trying to do is read article and scroll to below 🤷🏾‍♂️

Forcing to consent sharing my privacy details!. Like all the others bully media ET is also forcing me to consent to share my privacy details to use the app. I can use other apps who don’t bully it’s users. If you don’t change this condition of use then I might delete such stinky apps and relieve my device from wasted storage abd resource usage. I must also mention that in my opinion, to me, you guys are a very selective, biased and far from neutral media.

Love the app! But a complaint.. Awesome app to keep you up to date with all the actions, especially in India. This app might be the only where I’d go to find news if I get to have Multimedia/video plays with Audio, which is lacking. Audio is not played in commercials as well as news videos. Does anyone have solved this?

Good app with many many hyperlinks = bad experience. I Love the app and read practically all articles daily. Of late however, the app has introduced hundreds of hyperlinks which while scrolling down triggers with slightest touch thus hindering readability and ultimately a bad user experience. I recently upgraded to iOS 13 on iPhone so not sure if that is the root cause and some work needs to be done here to reduce hyperlink sensitivity!! Would have loved to give 5 stars but owing to the above issue, limiting it to 3 stars

Decent app for financial and business. This is a good app for NRI folks since it helps with keeping keeping us in the loop on the day to day business activities and political changes which affecting the economy. Great on iPhone but issues on iPad version. It is great on iPhone but on iPad, it has a lot of bugs. Pls look at that and remove them.

No option to categorise. ET is a scrap now. The app doesn’t have the feature to choose the category of news you want to receive notifications on. My notification screen is being flooded with more of scrap news than productive topics.

STEALING THE CLIPBOARD DATA. If you have upgraded to ios14 then you get a notification when you paste something. I copied some text on another application, when I open the app, I immediately get the notification that the information has been pasted. It’s not happening with any other app except this one. Reporting it to APPLE right away with video evidence. Shame!!

Typical Indian app. They will monetize anything and everything they can. Ads come ahead of a user experience. I get this full blown video ad occupying the entire screen with voice playback. Don’t even know how this passed though apple’s filters. I rate this one star hence.

Audio doesn't work when screen is turned off. The audio function of the live news coverage doesn't work if the screen is turned off or if I open any other app. I need to keep the app open as well as keep the screen on to hear to the news which drains my battery quickly. This has not been fixed even after the latest update in September, 2016. Would be better if it is fixed.

Great articles. Good reading in details

Seems like the writers are from India. Almost all the stories I have been reading have be middle eastern based. Not saying I don’t like seeing them. But I would like to see more stories from other countries.

App crashes and isn't up to iOS standards. 1. Make the app more stable and stop pushing ads through illegal means 2. Data from exchanges including stock prices doesn't always load 3. Why can't I click on time to quickly scroll back up? All good iOS apps use this OS feature. I am forced to use scrolling to reach the top and then click back. It is not only tedious but irritating. 4. The comments features truly disappoints. The app can be made much better than it is today.

Fix the problem. While I open this app , it stops the music. Please fix this issue, it should not stop music while I am reading news on this app.

Great app. This is my go to source for financial news on India. Sometimes app is slow even on brand new iPhone X, but generally works very well. Keep up good work!

Subscription not available. I am trying to subscribe on my I pad but payment is asking in USD. how to subscribe in INR?

Poor customer response. I am trying login on my iPhone since December 14 , Paid 3999 and it’s over 15 days i am still not able to login to online application, Customer support is very slow and it will not resolve issue , 1 st they told me payment failed, I sent all details about payment , After 15 days they confirmed payment received but still not able to sign in. Request refund they will not refund money. Economic Times reputable company acts like scammer

Aggressive advertising. The aggressive advertising by Reliance Wifi is causing major issues with the user experience. If this is not stopped we shall boycott this app.
