We finally have an app!. So we finally have an iPhone app for the New York magazine which is longgggg overdue and while I am happy that I don’t have to muddy my browser tabs with random articles anymore, there are a few user interface improvements I’d love to see such as the ability to bookmark articles to read later (how is this not a feature????) and the option for a night mode feature — the bright white interface is not appealing at all when I’m in bed. And maybe these features do exist but IF they do then they are not clearly accessible enough for me to not write a review about.

Love this app!. I’ve been reading New York magazine for a long time and this has already become my favorite new app. A truly delightful experience

Terrific. Love the elegant design, and it’s great to have so much of my favorite journalism (Vulture, Intelligencer, Curbed) in one app.

Needs iPad support. I’ll only giving it three stars because it doesn’t have native iPad support, it looks really ugly on an iPad. For now I’ll stick to the webpage when reading NYMag on my iPad. Add iPad support and I’ll raise my rating to five stars. Thanks!

Really Great!. Love NYM and this app—so happy to finally have an easy way to browse everything and the design is fantastic!

No save function. It’s a very pretty app, but I can’t give it five stars until there’s a function to let me save articles. I start reading something, then when I try to come back to it later in the day I have to search for it. It would also be nice if the app could remember where you were in an article when you return to it.

Amazing app experience. As a NYM reader I’m loving the reading experience this app provides. Beautifully built and thought to us - NY readers! Definitely recommend! Can’t wait for the next releases and future features!

Fine. Could do with a dark mode but does what it says on the tin.

Room for improvement. Really needs dark mode. Also iPhone app does not translate well to iPad - the text is way too big and you can’t scan articles easily from the home pages

iPhone only. The app is designed for the small screen of an iPhone. If you have an iPad you’re better off sticking to the web version of the magazine.

Please add user comments. Appreciate finally having an app that will allow me to read across sites and not have to keep logging in but where are the user comments?! They’re such a vital part of the web experience, hoping they’re integrated into the app soon.
